Oh wow, thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my post with… all of that. I’m honestly in awe of how you managed to turn a simple expression of excitement for a different type of Sukuna fanfiction into some kind of personal attack. I wasn’t even talking about specific writers or complaining about anyone’s content—I was literally just sharing an idea. But hey, props to you for finding something to get mad about. That’s a talent in itself.
Let’s be clear here: I wasn’t demanding anyone write this for me. I wasn’t critiquing anyone’s work. I wasn’t sitting here throwing shade at writers. I was just sharing what I personally wanted to see in fanfiction, which, last I checked, is what people do in fandom spaces. You know, sharing ideas, connecting over mutual interests—that sort of thing. I didn’t realize I needed to publish a whole novel on Google Docs to be allowed to post. My bad for thinking Tumblr was a space for that.
And honestly, the assumptions you made about me? Impressive. You’ve decided I don’t write, that I’m entitled, and that I’m part of some mythical group of people who do nothing but “complain.” None of which is true, but I can’t help but marvel at how far your imagination took you.
Also, the charm of calling people “corny” while doing exactly what you’re criticizing (complaining about someone’s post) is… unparalleled. I’m sure the irony is totally intentional. But don’t worry, I’ll be sure to take your wisdom to heart while continuing to use this app however I want, since that’s kind of the point.
But seriously, it’s okay. I get it. You probably had some stuff on your chest, and my post happened to be the outlet for it. Maybe you’re feeling unappreciated, or maybe my excitement rubbed you the wrong way. Whatever it is, I sincerely hope you’re able to work through it. It’s okay, honey. Mummy and daddy love you, even if they didn’t act like it during your childhood. I truly hope this little outburst gave you the attention you’re so clearly craving. I see your pain and I acknowledge your feelings. Therapy could really help—just saying. It seems like a healthier way to process those feelings than trolling random people online.
At the end of the day, though, I’m going to keep sharing my thoughts and enjoying fandom spaces for what they’re meant to be: a place for ideas and connection. And if that bothers you… well, I guess you can keep yelling into the void if it makes you feel better. Wishing you all the best, truly.
(p.s: adding a screenshot of the tags this bbg wrote just in case they decide to delete it)

I'm so sick of sukuna fanfics where the reader is a sweet innocent submissive girl like badgirl reader whennnn! I need a crazy sukuna and a batshit insane reader, someone who matches his freak, someone who's even better at it, someone who lowkey terrifies the king of curses himself! I need a reader who shows this pretty boy what being evil actually is! Give me that!!!!

Ok so no one could have prepared me for that last jayvik scene.
I predicted a big bunch of what would happen to them in act three, like a bit of what happened to Jayce in the arcane, Viktor’s (2) resurrection, their fight in the council room n shit too. But mostly the scene into Viktor’s hive mind (??) just Jayce last hope as he tries to find what’s left of Viktor in there. What I’m trying to say is: I thought I was prepared, key word Thought bc I did NOT expect him to actually succeed.
I was expecting him to maybe shear a tear or two then go back on his mission to kill him, maybe just anger, some yelling or whatever. I had no fucking faith in him actually getting Viktor back and that ended me right there.
It was beautiful and I loved every minute of it, I don’t have the artistic skill to draw any of it but who cares!!?! Anyway I’m going crazy they’re so fucking soft even when they’re being absorbed by void, I don’t give a shit they didn’t kiss on screen (which btw was never happening like ever) that was gayer than anything else that could’ve happened let’s be honest.
I think that last conversation was everything that Jayce wanted to say when he asked trapped in that cave or wtv prob thinking about the way things could’ve gone differently. He spent all that time reflecting and in the end he got a chance to get it out for te one person that needed to hear it. Telling Vitor that he want broken, what he though were his weaknesses where just, life. There could be other ways, to cure his illness, live better even with his leg, but in this end there was no time left for them so I think it was the best way to end everything.
I’m not gonna talk abt their arcs an how undeniably intertwined they are to each other but just know it’s true, and that’s why beyond a the crying I actually liked their ending. They’ve been so inherently tied together since the very beginning there’s o other way to go.
(Yall have no idea how much I cried fr)

Listen. I know there are a plethora and a half of issues with MAME’s works and with Love In The Air. I am aware and I am obsessed despite it. They’re all fucked up in their own ways and sometimes I like my blorbos an inch away from insanity okay?

Happy (Early, depending on where in the world you are) Odaiba Day! To celebrate, I decided to partake in the “Favourites from Digimon” meme I've seen floating around to share a smattering of some of my absolute favourite digimon and characters. I hope everyone is able to have a good time celebrating Odaiba day too! Despite its flaws Digimon is something that has changed my life for the better, and I'm glad everyday I made the choice to revisit it and invest myself in the franchise again.

Did Tim “kill” King Snake and does Bruce know?
Tumblr media
In Tim’s first solo min, he goes to Paris to learn martial arts and get that “edge” he thinks he needs to properly assume his role as Robin. He ends up on the tail of British Lord, Hong Kong-based heroine kingpin, leader of the Ghost Dragon gang, Sir Edmund Dorrance AKA King Snake (who is blind, which will be important later). Tim’s only companions on this world tour are Lady Shiva, who wants to defeat Dorrance to prove herself stronger, and ex-DEA agent Clyde Rawlins, who wants revenge against Dorrance for Dorrance’s reprisal killing of his family.
Tumblr media
Robin I #4 --  the dream team, I love them
The trio catch up to Dorrance in Hong Kong, where he’s waiting for them in what seems to be the top suite of his skyscraper, 50 stories up.
In this final confrontation with Dorrance, Tim takes full advantage of a crucial moment of distraction to kick Dorrance out of the window. Dorrance ends up clinging to a ledge, hanging on for dear life.
Shiva then appears to order Tim to kill Dorrance, presumably by kicking him off the ledge. (It becomes clear then that this is how Shiva intends to prove herself stronger than Dorrance: she trained Tim and therefore Tim is her weapon and an extension of herself. If Tim defeats Snake, she defeats him by proxy).
Tim refuses and walks away. All we see is him listen  as Dorrance falls to what Tim explicitly assumes is his death, 50 stories down.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robin I #5
So, while Tim isn't directly responsible for Dorrance's death, he was the one to put him in that position and then left him there to fall.
It’s unclear how Tim conceives of his actions here and how we are supposed to interpret them, especially in light of Tim’s refusal to kill in earlier chapters in this arc (and after).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robin I #2
Tumblr media
Robin I #4 -- I love Shiva
He stopped Rawlins from shooting and killing gang members, but then points to the danger Rawlins might have put them in by accidentally shooting crates containing plague (please read this arc it’s really fun despite suffering from uh. severe written in the 90s syndrome) and then explicitly restates his vow not to kill.
AND THEN, the plot thickens!!!
Dorrance did not actually fall to his death; he caught himself on a ledge below, where he believes Tim came down to taunt him. He came away from his fall with a fear of Tim and an obsession with killing him to purge himself of that fear. (anyway Sir Edmund Dorrance walked so Ra’s could run)

Batman (1940) #468
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Batman (1940) #469
Dorrance moves to Gotham with the Ghost Dragons and takes over Chinatown (which. Who decided to put, a British lord, what boils down to an allegory of British colonialism in Hong Kong as the head of Chinatown? I have questions – anyway crimelord Lynx ftw)
In the course of his pursuit of Robin, it is revealed that Bruce believes “it was Lady Shiva that caused Dorrance to plunge to his death”—that Tim told him this.
Tumblr media
Batman (1940) #469
This is clarified a bit more later, when Bruce confronts Dorrance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
#469
Dorrance explicitly accuses Tim of murder. He outlines the incident leading up to his fall—that Tim tricked him and attacked him from behind (he did, we saw this), that Dorrance was left dangling, and that Tim then caused him to fall.
Bruce refutes this accusation by claiming that it “wasn’t Robin who left you for dead. … Robin spared you. It was Lady Shiva who threw you to your death.”
From this, we can assume that in the moments after Tim refused Shiva and walked away, Shiva threw Dorrance down, which he didn’t realize because, as Bruce claims, he is blind and was likely traumatized by the incident. We can’t know this for sure, however—that Shiva threw him down—for exactly those reasons. Bruce is working off what Tim apparently told him, but we—and Tim—did not see this happen.
Bruce’s explanation of what actually happened also calls into question what exactly Tim told him about what happened.
It’s unclear what exactly he is refuting by: “It wasn’t Robin who left you for dead.” Does he not count Tim leaving Dorrance hanging as “leaving him for dead” or is the implication that Bruce thinks Shiva was the one who both threw Dorrance out the window and off the ledge? We never actually see what Tim told Bruce.
This leaves us with some possibilities:
that what Tim did by leaving Dorrance to dangle, by leaving him to Shiva, does not count against Batman’s no-killing rule.
Perhaps that Bruce does not feel that he could have expected or wanted Tim to step between Shiva and her target, Dorrance
that Bruce does not actually know what really happened—that Tim kicked Dorrance out the window, which in turn implies that either Tim may have stretched the truth or Bruce misinterpreted (purposefully?) what Tim told him
These all seem inconsistent, however, with incidents further down the line, with Cluemaster for example, and then when Tim rebukes Azbats for leaving Abattoir to die. A core tenet of Tim’s characterization is his sometimes frustrated but dedicated adherence to the no-kill rule (im beating anyone who cites the league bases at me away with a stick). So I don’t know what to do with this. Maybe it’s just comic inconsistency. Chuck Dixon, what are you doing?
If anyone has any thoughts about how to reconcile all this!! Please grant me peace
ADDENDA
i.e. stuff that I can’t possibly expect to be addressed in comics, but that I think about anyway
Related to this arc—a point is made a few issues later that Tim at this time doesn’t really have anyone to confide in. He can't really talk to Batman, isn’t close to Dick at this point, and while he is willing to work with Alfred and ask for help with Bat-related things, they’re not yet emotionally close. This isolation is poignantly demonstrated by him confessing his troubles to his still-comatose father.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robin II #2
WHOM then would he have talked to about all that happened on his little “world tour”? No one? Besides whatever happened with Dorrance and brutal training and isolation, he also had to deal with the fact that Clyde Rawlins—whom he presumably developed some sort of camaraderie with (it’s tim ;-; he forms connections) was killed by Dorrance while working this mission with him.
We know that he had no one to talk to about all that. Did Tim linger on Rawlins????? On the fact that Shiva called him her weapon?? My boy is 13 ;-;
I also love that the whole buildup to Tim’s debut as Robin is Bruce agonizing about whether he should allow another boy to assume the position that cost him his son, and is then followed by plenty of moments after of Batman being overprotective.
Tumblr media
Batman (1940) #468
And yet, when Tim is like “I need an edge to be Robin” presumably Bruce?? although this is never explicit connects him with a martial artist in Paris and sends him off on his own. It’s also possible that Tim is the one who comes up with this given that he agonizes a bit over whether he’s doing right by choosing his own path
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robin I #1
Either way, Tim goes to Paris Alone and essentially Unsupervised.
This lack of supervision is further emphasized by the fact that he goes to hunt down a king pin all the way to Hong Kong with Lady fucking Shiva and an ex DEA agent and no other back up. And Bruce presumably doesn’t find out until Tim runs into the hitman Henri Ducard in Hong Kong, who is apparently Batman’s acquaintance. (#5)
I have so many questions. I know that the actual reasoning is probably “oh we want to give this new character a little mini adventure arc on his own!!! To showcase how cool and independent the new robin is” but STILL
(also tim immediately getting himself a little team :’) I lub him)

the chemistry rob and glenn have is so jarring and intense (and has become even more so as mac and dennis’ dynamic has shifted) that i often wonder if the sunny writers room sort of shies away from scenes with just the two of them in recent seasons because they know. they know that when they put them on screen together people’s televisions will explode. and they need to reserve some of that pent up energy for when the series ends. with every new mac and dennis scene comes an increasingly charged sexual undercurrent that i don’t think any network sitcom has ever been able to duplicate with their lead love interests. they’re too powerful.

if there was a dedicated social networking site/app for autistic people there should be a “looking for conversation” page where you can post that you’re looking to talk about [topic] with people who are as excited about it as you are and there’s a search bar to look for specific topics to see if a request was already posted

I’ve tooootally not been freaking out about the new Wataru card all morning (lying), but I think I’ve finally decided how I hope it’s all going to play out.
For context, the pieces we have so far are:
- Wataru’s new profile mentions training with technology provided by Eichi
- Wataru’s new unbloomed features the Ep:Link mask which is supposed to be in Eichi’s possession given it’s the symbol of Wataru’s devotion to Eichi
Tumblr media
- Wataru’s 4Piece interview got cut off and he didn’t enter the screen until halfway through the time
- The line up for the event features half the Diner Live cast (Wataru, Izumi, Keito, Nazuna)
Here’s what I’ve come up with from this:
It would make no sense to have a Wataei divorce. Especially given they’re not actually together in the understood sense of the word (they are in love with each other and have expressed sentiments of devotion, but in universe they cannot date. They’re idols, they’re both ‘boys’ (dubious with Wataru) and Eichi is expected to marry advantageously aka Tori’s sister)
What would make sense and would also be in line with how enstars stories generally go, and with how Eichi and Wataru both love to act, is that the two of them are rigging this whole thing and are purposefully doing something ridiculous, or actually quite deep and meaningful, just because it’s funny to them/neither of them can do something genuine in a normal way.
First evidence: the mask
I really desperately hope that the writers wouldn’t just undo all of Wataru’s character development the first story we receive around him in the new era. He hasn’t worn his mask for an ENTIRE YEAR, and we’ve seen through events like Puffy Bunny that he’s even opening up to juniors he wasn’t that familiar with. He’s learning to overcome his fear of rejection which is so intrinsically linked to his mask. Why would they plunge him back into hiding behind masks both literally and metaphorically after making it such a visibly identifying part of his development? The mask is probably there for a plot relevant reason, and if it isn’t just a copy and is in fact the one Eichi has, we will hopefully get some line as to WHY Wataru has it (and hopefully it’s as hilarious as “babe can I take your wedding ring back? Yeah I know I offered it to you as a metaphor for offering myself but I need it for the bit. Oh it’ll be so funny, I promise. Amazing, I knew you’d understand!✨”). If it is a copy,,,, hm. Idk. We will hopefully still get SOMETHING about the fact it is the exact same mask that we haven’t seen SINCE BASIC!!!!! They could’ve given him any design but they chose to use the same one. There’s got to be a reason.
Second evidence: Wataru’s audition. It’s just STRANGE. It’s really silly and very funny but,,, Wataru prides himself on his performing. He’s an actor. He wouldn’t show up late and allow himself to run out of time unless there was a reason or it was on purpose. This is where I’m starting to suspect that strings are being deliberately pulled and Wataru (and probs Eichi by extension) are up to something here. It just doesn’t make sense otherwise
Third evidence: the diner live throwback. Could the character selection be a coincidence? Absolutely. I assumed as much UNTIL I realised that there’s a giant gift box in Wataru’s audition and it’s the central focus piece given Wataru doesn’t show up until half way through. You can’t not notice it, and it leaves you expecting Wataru to emerge from it. Where else is Wataru involved with a giant gift box?? Unbloomed diner live when he puts Keito and Izumi in one. Oh, look who’s also involved in this!! The call back to traumerei and diner live feels deliberate now, and I want to know WHY!!! Especially given that story is so integral to establishing that Wataru has grown to like Eichi and to want to share a stage with him not as part of any roles but as HIMSELF. It’s also intrinsically linked to his masks, because he didn’t want to be on the stage under any mask. He wanted to perform with Eichi just as Wataru Hibiki.
Where am I going with all of this? That’s a really good question. I’m essentially just easing my own mind because it truly would not make sense, given the pieces laid out for us, if wataei are entering a divorce arc. This and Wataru’s profile are the only new era content we have for him. The profile highlights Eichi, showing us that they are STILL a pair- they are still interlinked in a way inseparable to the narrative and to their development. I’m trusting that just like Atlantis was thought to be Bad News and turned out to be interesting (Wataru’s perspective hmmmm I wanna analyse this now) and also still wataei, this will also turn out to be good and not undo Wataru’s characterisation and development. And if it does just undo all the progress that’s been made without giving us reason and plot consistent explanations for why wataei might be over? Well it would just have to be bad writing :/ (trying to point out that i can accept writing is good even if I don’t like the direction personally. If im given good writing and it still turns out to be a direction I didn’t want it to take, I’ll reluctantly accept it. If it just undoes established development and characteristics…. Ignored)
