can i be honest with you im not trying to draw newspaper comics sometimes i do not want to be drawing funnies and im kind of displeased by what i consider to be my serious work being undermined by the fact that im related to 2 famous underground cartoonists and 1 really famous cartoonist so im saddled with this genetic art style.

What prsk zines have you participated/know about?

there isnt many prsk zine unfortunately but the ones that i'm aware of that should be completed by now is that one general project sekai zine (called Untitled i think), a prsk travel zine, a prsk fashion zine (i bought this one), and a prsk vocaloid song zine (i also bought this one). The ones that are ongoing is an anhane zine that just closed applications as well as a ruitoya zine, a ruikasa zine thats finished preorders, an akitoya zine thats still has preorders open (BUY IT NOW!!), and an emukasa zine that just opened applications! the only one i participated in is the akitoya zine

Hi! Yes, I am, let me actually publish this because I've been meaning to do an update on that! Side note: thank you to the people who sent me some kofi tips when I first announced that, your kindness was very sweet and appreciated and it went straight into that savings fund. <3

Because I picked up an instructor position at the clay studio, that's going to (hopefully minimally) change my taxes for this 2023 fiscal year. So before I do start offering sketches I need to make an appointment with a tax person to go over all that and make sure I understand how that's all going to work before adding in extra freelance earnings. I wanted to get that done by now but there have been extra family things happening that are going to continue to happen through the year (nothing bad, just relocating my grandmother and since I'm one of the closest/time available grandchildren I've started getting pulled into that lmao). I will also be participating in the second @broadsandbroadswords zine which will take some of that time, but I enjoy these projects and my buddies running that zine are awesome and amazing and I want to help.

So earliest prediction I think would be April? End of March if I can get some other things squared away. I still would really like to do that, it's been a hot minute since I've gotten to do some commissions! I believe they would be bust or half-body sketches in black and white only in limited slots, so nothing terribly fancy but hopefully more accessible to a wider group of people looking for art. I'll be making noise about that when the time comes!

Hi! I’m doing an interest check, seeing if anyone would be interested in a zine dedicated to Pearlescentmoon. This zine will focus on all of her content, not just the life series and hermitcraft, and will not include any rpf or shipping. It will include fanart and oneshot fanfics, related to her content from the beginning of her channel up until the end of Hermitcraft s10.

I have a google forms for the interest check. It will be open for one week (closes November 11th at 11:59 pm EST), and has questions regarding whether or not people want to see it, whether or not people can participate, etc. Please only say you are interested in participating if you have a genuine interest.

Once I have an estimate on how many people want to join, i’ll decide how many contributors I would like, how many mods I’ll need, etc. I’ll also be running some polls throughout the process for things like collabs and other content, so stay tuned for that.

If a Pearl zine has already been done, please let me know. I couldn’t find one but I don’t just wanna repeat something that’s already been done. Any questions can be sent via asks or DMs.

sorry for joining the mcsm fandom then disappearing for two weeks to cook up my first full on colored comic outside of zine work, the wither storm possessed me momentarily

IN ALL SERIOUSNESS THOUGH this was intended to be just a practice on my block-y/minecraft/chibi????? style thing???? and then I just went super hard on it for no reason, literally was not even intending to color it when I first thought this up LMFAO

ANYWAYS the concept here is that this is a sort of “missing scene” type deal, I’d like to think they stayed in Crown Mesa for a day or two to recover before going back through the portal after all the PAMA chaos. The added horror of PAMAs chipping doing physical damage besides just the chipping of their minds is a really interesting concept to me so there will definitely be more of that !!!! but there’d be some physical AND mental healing Lukas and Petra would need before heading off again me thinks. even if Petra is stubborn about receiving the help at first…

ALSO APOLOGIES IF ANY OF THE DIALOGUE IS OOC AT ALL? I’m not remotely a writer despite loving to make comics, dialogue is what I struggle with most, and I’ve been mostly writing dialogue between the same two characters for like. 4 years now so branching off into other wildly different personalities is gonna be a learning curve bear with me LMAO
