One last thing

Despite how Caine's plans for the adventure got ruined. In the end it was still a two way trust exercise. Everyone played a part in trusting each other to play the game. As mentioned in the og post, the only one that isn't shown was Jax trusting Pomni

And I genuinely feel like that partner trust has to be completed in the future cuz what is the point of leaving him hanging

If anything, the message of the show was that everyone should have a chance to be loved. It's slowly been presented throughout the show how the characters care for each other and their humanity

Starting with Gummigoo, an npc

I hate Jax with every fiber of my being, I hate the way so much people miss the point and glorifies him, I hate how much damage he's done to everyone

But I want to see him make it to the end. I don't expect him to be better or to be friends with them

But I want to see him out of that place, in the real world with a regret in his heart. He can forget Pomni, Ragatha and everyone else all he wants but I know in my core he can't forget about how the experience chews at him from his center. That kindness they tried to show him and the way he responded to it

I want him to realize that he needed the team to get out and shut the fuck up

Talking more about this episode especially about Jax's essay about roles

He's right about everyone playing a role but he could not be any more wrong about sorting who's who. He puts them into this box of what he thinks everyone is but it's mostly just him stereotyping the negative trait of the other players. That or they act completely different when this jerkwad isn't involved

Kinger isn't crazy, he's the wisest one in the entire circus but Jax wouldn't know that cuz he'd never take the time to interact with him other than to insult him for how "CRAAAAZYY HE ISSS 🤪🤪🤪"

He could not believe his fucking eyes in episode 5 when he sees Gangle happy without the comedy mask and he is still so convinced that she will ALWAYS be the depressed cry baby he knows her for (because he would only ever harrass her 🙄)

Ragatha is called the "cheerful one" when it was only her people pleasing tendencies. He probably knows this too. But as more episodes release she progressively gets more and more miserable

No one ever fucking listens to Zooble which is why they seem to be always pissed off and it isn't their fault. But to show him that you want to listen, he's the most chill character out of everyone. It's shown in the bar scene and even she was more chill when Jax was making tasteless "HAHA GAY!!!" jokes

Jax is wrong about himself too

Motherfucker you are NOT the funny one or at least he is degrading his role as the funny one. He progressively gets more and more desperate to poke fun out of people because as the eps go on, people are able to get back at him and the hypocrite hates it. He started off with jerky quips but he keeps getting less and less funny when it slowly turns to harassment. It's just so tasteless now

And he takes these roles so seriously, again he didn't think that Gangle can be happy. He got cornered and for a second he was coping heavily about "how Gangle likes it"

He also made the same face when Pomni called him the villain. I think he had that breakdown in the bathroom because that stagnant delusioned world view was fully broken for him.

Pomni said he wasn't funny and he really isn't at this point. And he knows that. It was that fight with her that really shoved it in his face how serious she is and how right everyone was when they're telling the truth that no one fucking likes him

Zooble was right. He fucks everything up for everyone and he proved it in the next scene. Hasn't he shot Ragatha without a second thought then maybe Caine wouldn't be left broken and numb to make them shoot each other

Hadn't he ruins everyone else's adventure suggestions, or mess up Caine's. The only time people have the space to connect with each other is when he has no power to get involved
