These are all my snakmonster designs so far. I also have a tag for all the Snakmonster AU posts that has a lot more to offer.

Will also leave a link to the Gramble i drew for this au, BUT! warning for strong body horror! He's not really a snakmonster, but it's still part of the AU. Maybe i'll go back and revisit him sometime and give him an actual monster form. But as it is, i can't really think of any ideas for him that haven't already been done. Idk, maybe he could be a walking hive or something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For some reason i thought i still had a bunch of the Snaxburg group i hadn't drawn yet, but nah i guess i got pretty much all of them. And they're all still fairly accurate.

Shelda i would redo, since i wasn't happy with her design when i made it and i'm still am not happy with it. But she's another one i don't have any ideas for (especially now that i don't need her to be a snakmonster anymore after the DLC).

The Eggabell i drew was... mostly a joke. But i think i would stick to the idea, just alter her to be a bit more organic and less stiff.

And then Lizbert's design is not really for the AU specifically, but she doesn't change much in it (not physically at least). I would maybe go back and redo her design as well tho. Same idea but just make her a little more creature, and blend some of the element in a little more.

kame is literally asa’s most precious thing. you can NOT tell me it’s not. even if you don’t ship them it is very obviously canon.

asa was soo flustered and didn’t want to tell kame about this, even blushing?? like understandable though it’s basically a confession

one of asa’s first reactions was always to check if kame was okay whenever the mononoke appeared

sure, it could’ve just been a friend thing, but asa was constantly looking out for kame in the ooku

defending her and taking the blame for all her mistakes and trying to protect her from harm, standing up to awashima and mugitani

asa i know what you are i saw that blush when kame smiled after you told her she could work with you instead of mugitani (I get you she was so cute tho)

also it was so cute when they were talking next to each other at night

speaking of which, kame making asa promise to not let go while they sleep and asa adjusting to a more comfortable grip while holding hand was just; auGHHH 😩

ALSO ALSO “Kitagawa made me realise what was important, what I should never throw away,” and then KAME TURNING TO SMILE AT ASA AND ASA SMILING BACK WITH THAT ADORING LOOK IN HER EYES?? (note: there was also minor foreshadowing here with the empty doll cupboard but i think that had more to do with kitagawa)

and the cut off after saying she needed to say something important was really suspicious like what did she say??

idk how this related but afterwards she became more focused and hardworking on her job(but also more rigid and firm in her beliefs) and kame tipped out her water instead of drinking it (because she became the opposite? more rebellious/defiant maybe? idk)

speaking to the medicine seller, she said she understood kitagawa’s feelings, which makes me think kitagawa also had a thing for her friend lol like there was absolutely something going on there if she(kitagawa) fell apart after her friend left

only mildly related but i believe karakasa’s next target was probably going to be kame and she was used as bait for it (as something a redditor* mentioned was asa may have sent kame away to protect her rather than the reason kitagawa did, OR lure out karakasa) edit: nvm i remembered wrong it was utayama i believe (due to perhaps resentment within the doll’s umbrella*) or asa (following the logic that awashima and mugitani were both the head housemaids(?) favoured by utayama before asa, although again the end goal was probably to attack utayama)

also when asa was addressing the other maids of the ooku before the birth celebratory ceremony and bowed, kame bowed but nobody else did (which means they didn’t respect asa)

then kame got mad and showed her support for her girl like hell yeah 👏 and asa gained more confidence which i think was sweet

oh and asa was also like “the thing that kept me grounded was lady kame” 🥹🥹

she also said (acc. to netflix subs) “And yet, I yearned for nothing more than to share meals with Kame. And spend countless nights just staying up late, giggling and talking to her.” SHE SOUNDED SO LOVESICK 💔

The au in which hylia is teh one who sealed or cursed Y/N. After discovering this the chain decided since to side with the villain of their stories for example. Skyward sword link works with demise and so on.

Aaaah, makes more sense. But still not clear enough? (Wait did I write this Au?) most of final big bads are uh…dead? So they can’t just resurrect them all Willy Nilly.

Maybe this is a list for each individual and not the chain as a whole but I dunno ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Cause yes, With Sky

Sky’s trust in Hylia is shattered when he learns she orchestrated (Y/N)’s suffering.

And he seeks out Demise, swallowing his hatred and disbelief to work alongside the Demon King.

And while working with Demise’s forces, Sky becomes hardened and more brutal.

Sky’s newfound drive may even surprise Demise, who quickly recognizes Sky’s tactical mind. Sky uses his knowledge of Hylia’s weaknesses, strategically placing Demise’s forces where they can inflict the most damage on her temples and followers.

But honestly? I doubt Demise survives, Sky

isn’t siding with Demise in spirit but probably manipulates their partnership to weaken Hylia. He gives Demise enough power to serve his plan, sowing just the right amount of discord to make Hylia vulnerable without letting Demise gain full control.

And while subtly sabotaging Hylia’s temples and weakening her mortal influence,

Sky’s primary goal is still to kill Demise, only after he’s used him to dismantle Hylia’s power. Sky plans to drive the final blow himself. (She probably escapes anyway. Much to his rage)

With Warriors

Warriors would joins Cia and Ganon, leveraging his knowledge of Hyrule’s soldiers to disrupt and weaken them.

Well, he’d play the part of hero until Ganon shows up and then just joins up with him…..or maybe…no…nah he has to wait, Cia would have spotted it before the darkness split her. (He still doesn’t like Cia tho)

Warriors knows every tactic the Hyrulean army will employ, and he’s relentless in using that to his advantage.

He becomes a spy within Hyrule’s ranks, (he can’t be a traitor if HYLIA betrayed him first. Thems the breaks) sending misinformation and sabotaging missions, all to bring Hyrule’s forces to its knees for (Y/N)’s sake. Warriors never falters, his loyalty to (Y/N) driving his every action.

Honestly Warriors pretends to remain a loyal soldier to Hylia’s cause within the Hyrulean army while secretly coordinating attacks that amplify chaos, allowing Ganon’s forces to strike where it hurts Hylia the most. He’s playing both sides.

Considering he’d make a brief trip to Skyloft, (and Nintendo never makes things clear about time periods.) I’m gonna assume each era is close enough to the heroes of the era that it wouldn’t be odd that Sky could send messages to Warriors.

He won’t hesitate to manipulate people he once considered friends if it furthers Sky’s plan to weaken Hylia, prioritizing (Y/N)’s rescue over everything else.

With Time

Time would see Ganondorf as a means to an end. He joins Ganondorf’s cause, using his knowledge of the temples and sages to disrupt Hylia’s carefully laid plans.

To Ganondorf’s forces, Time is terrifying, silent, calculated, and nearly impossible to predict. He holds a deep, simmering rage within.

And just in case anyone asks, within the mask, the Fierce Deity watches Time closely, seeing how the hero’s loyalty to his sword brothers contrasts sharply with his rebellion against Hylia. While Fierce remains bound, observing Time’s darker decisions with approval, he’d subtly align his energy with Time’s intentions, lending strength where it’s needed most. (Gotta protect his vessel ya know?)

Fierce Deity understands vengeance, perhaps better than anyone else. Even without communicating directly, Time can feel this resonance. There’s an unspoken agreement, Fierce supports Time’s defiance against Hylia’s will, seeing it as a just rebellion.

Time might notice that the power of the Fierce Deity feels especially potent when facing those aligned with Hylia or when defending his brothers. Fierce Deity’s own ancient rage fueling each strike.

While fighting beside Ganondorf, Time would have to craft a careful facade, (kinda like Sheik except he doesn’t have a magical disguise to hide his features….does he??) and considering the war of eras, he’d also be able to help Warriors with his side of things.

Ooooh the heroes that join Warriors could easily play the part of brainwashed heroes~

With Twilight

Well, bitter and heartbroken isn’t enough describe his feelings. He’s been heartbroken once by Midna. And maybe for a brief period of time, he genuinely thought (y/n) left him too.

So to find out Hylia was the one to take her away was….the limit.

So he’d strike a deal with Zant and Ganon.

But given Ganon probably still hates the hero cause of Time’s little act of slaying. So he’d side with Zant for a while.

He and Zant would create a network of darkness across Hyrule, corrupting places once sacred to Hylia I suppose? (Aw but I like Midna….)

His ferocity increases tenfold, and he finds bitter satisfaction in seeing the land Hylia cherished crumble under his hands.

He just wants his darling back.

With Wild

Well….Wild’s trust in the goddesses was already unsteady before with his own insecurities and self-doubts, but now it’s shattered, leading him to align with Calamity Ganon’s essence.

Not much going on since Ganon destroyed everything already and Flora is holding Ganon back. I mean, he’d wait until she couldn’t hold him back no more and then just switch the chaos?

He probably infiltrates the Yiga Clan, rising to a powerful position within their ranks to wreak havoc.

With Legend

Legend throws his loyalty to….i guess Yuga? (Boy he has a bunch of journeys.) seeing in him a chance to finally defy Hylia.

Or rather, he’d aid Lorule in gaining Hyrule’s Triforce. OR maybe he can’t…

…actually…maybe he just speeds up the poisoning of the land. Make it more Rulie’s era, after?

With Hyrule

Well Hyrule has always carried a subtle skepticism of authority (have you SEEN his era??) , so learning that Hylia, the goddess he once revered, is responsible for (Y/N)’s suffering would strike a chord.

This betrayal would make him question every act of loyalty and every sacrifice he made in the name of serving a higher power. He would quickly become resolute, deciding that any being capable of such cruelty doesn’t deserve his allegiance.

Hyrule’s protectiveness over (Y/N) would intensify. He would view (Y/N) not only as someone he cares for but also as someone wronged by a divine power. He’d become ruthless in his pursuit of freeing (Y/N) from Hylia’s influence and would stop at nothing, even if it meant forging dark alliances and exploring forbidden paths

To stand against Hylia and her agents, Hyrule would seek out shadow magic, using it to level the playing field against holy magic and divine forces. While he might initially be cautious, his dedication to protecting (Y/N) would outweigh his reservations.

Hyrule’s gentle spirit might begin to darken as he moves down this path. His compassion would remain, but his disillusionment would leave a lasting effect, making him wary of kindness that comes without reason and promises that seem too good to be true.

He’d become a hardened figure, mistrusting of any higher power and willing to destroy anyone who stood between him and his goal.

With Four

Four’s fractured self allows him to see all sides of Hylia’s betrayal, making him perfectly suited to side with Vaati and , Shadow.

Each color has a different way of undermining Hylia’s forces. Blue is calculating, Red is fiercely defiant, Green becomes a spy, and Violet dives into dark magic.

Together, they are a force of chaos, and their unpredictability makes them especially dangerous. So long as Vaati can guarantee (y/n)’s return and safety, he doesn’t care what he has to do.

With Wind

Wind is lured into Ganondorf’s cause, using his knowledge of the Great Sea and islands to spread rebellion among those loyal to Hylia. (Which aren’t a lot given most don’t remember Hylia in that era. But it doesn’t make it easier for him to make her out to be the devil.)

Wind adopts a reckless, defiant attitude, channeling his anger at Hylia into everything he does. He becomes powerful weapon in Ganondorf’s hands. (But remember folks, the heroes loyalty only stick to eachother and ABSOLUTELY their darling so Ganon dies if he can’t deliver on his promises!)

There is one thing that has been spinning on my mind ever since I watched the movie. This conversation isn't that popular in the fandom, probably due to its uncomfortable subject matter, but it needs to be discussed. I'll be the one to start

The Director has groomed Ambrosius and it affected him far into adulthood

(A really long analysis post)

Warning: I'm not a psychologist neither am I really educated in this sphere, and I never was a victim of grooming, so don't take my words as 100% truth. However, I'm a literature student, so I can analyse a few scenes and make a conclusion lol

So, to start off, let's share the definition of grooming, shall we?

"Grooming is when someone builds a relationship, trust and emotional connection with a child or young person so they can manipulate, exploit and abuse them."

Now, of course Ambrosius is an adult in the movie, and we can't exactly know his entire history with the Director. So this analysis will take a few things as truth despite them not being confirmed

- the Director has been by Ambrosius's side throughout most of his life. Considering the fact that she's been around even when Ballister was a child, the same can be assumed about Ambrosius

- we as viewers do not see Ambrosius's parents (because this is quite unnecessary to the narrative, maybe we'll see them in a sequel Quane and Bruno were teasing buttt¯\_(ツ)_/¯), and he's been in the Institute since childhood, so it seems like the Director was the most reliable adult in Ambrosius's life

Despite Ambrosius being a grown man, the effect the Director has on him cannot be denied. His relationship to the Director is like half his character arc, the man being torn between his loyalty to the kingdom and his lover

I will take a few scenes from the movie where Ambrosius and the Director interact and try to analyse them

Starting off strong, we've got the "acting like common children" scene. I could point out the obvious bias the Director puts in her words (villainizing an oppressed group of people as a rich white woman in power how nice of her) but we ain't coming to her throat for classism today. Pay attention to her praising Ambrosius and singling him out. "Thankfully, we have a descendant of Gloreth to lead us"

Are other knights happy to be around Ambrosius tho? The answer is no

(Text below is taken from the screenplay. The scene is after Nimona's and Bal's escape)

Knights: I knew we never should have trusted Ballister./If Goldenloin hadn't trusted him.../Well, if Goldenloin hadn't helped him...

Goldenloin realizes all eyes are on him

I think it wouldn't be wrong to assume Ambrosius's colleagues dislike him at best and outcast him at worst. Compared to Todd, who seems to be the more liked one amongst their peers (bro really is a jock bully high school stereotype in his 20s isn't that embarrassing), Ambrosius is isolated. He doesn't have anybody except Ballister and the Director. And as you all know Ballister and Ambrosius are separated for the most of the movie. So it leaves him with the Director as the closest person to interact with. Yeah...

Also in this scene she displays TWO tactics groomers use to manipulate their victims: isolation and favouritism

Another scene I'd like to pay attention to is Ambrosius's ✨iconic✨ freak out

"What's on your mind, Ambrosius? You can talk to me"

"...I'm fine, Director"

This scene actually left me confused on the first watch because it looks like a perfect moment for the Director to seem at least somewhat sympathetic. It truly seems like she cares about him

Honestly it's pretty hard for me to surely say whether or not she's being sincere or not but her goal is definitely to win over Ambrosius's trust, to make him believe she's a safe person (now that his real safe person is away ajdjdjj). That is also another tactic for groomers to manipulate their victims

And I think it would be fair to mention Director's attitude towards Ballister's and Ambrosius's relationship. It's obvious she knows about them (...not like it's rocket science have you seen these lovebirds) and disapproves. She doesn't outright state it but it's really clear

"Sir Goldenloin, is your loyalty to this Kingdom or to the knight who consorts with a monster?"

Again, amazing case of manipulation. She doesn't say Institute, nor "me" or whatever. She says kingdom. And she clearly knows that it works on Ambrosius, because he is, after all, Gloreth's descendant. Gloreth was the original protector, and Ambrosius is supposed to be the protector now. By choosing Ballister he betrays the kingdom, his bloodline and Gloreth

Now, I know this scene is not Ambrosius & the Director because it's Nimona in disguise but considering how good Nimona was in playing her part we might as well assume real Ambrosius would act the same.

Look at these eyes. He's afraid of her. She has the complete power over him. And Ballister is aware of this (if that's how he told Nimona to act)

Off-topic but I watched Nimona with two of my buddies yesterday and during this scene they both went like "Wait, who is she to Ambrosius again? Is she his mother? Because she acts like she one" and they are so damn right???

Now remember the fact that during one of the interviews Eugene Lee Yang said that the Director is Ambrosius's parental figure. Do with this information whatever you wanna do

I'm still not over her audacity in this scene. Her lip didn't even twitch and she's killing a person whom she praised for his bloodline. Saying "May Gloreth forgive you" while DRIVING A SWORD THROUGH HIM is beyond evil like??? Chill out Nancy Reagan???

I could say that this is the scene that debacles the American model minority myth (with East Asians being put on a pedestal and used to further reinforce white supremacy). A white woman killing an East Asian man while using a Christ-like figure to justify her actions (Gloreth is literally mentioned to be a Christ figure in the art book), and, if we take into account the theory that she wanted to set Ballister up so that it looks like he killed Ambrosius, BLAMING IT ON A BROWN ASIAN MAN was really a choice huh

The Director killed Ambrosius the second he questioned her, the second he wasn't useful to her

And how was he being useful to her? Allow me to introduce you to the scene which made me SUPER uncomfortable once I realized what was going on

During most of the movie Ambrosius acts rather impulsively, reflexes play a big part in his body language. And what does he do? He protects her with his body

"We need to get you to safety!"

Ambrosius was trained in a way that he needed to protect the Director with his body and his life.

Even in scenes where Ambrosius and the Director don't interact you can see how much Ambrosius is brainwashed.

"She manipulated you. She manipulated both of us. But together we'll take her down, you'll be a knight again"

"Thank you. The Director can't-"

"The Director? Oh, no, Bal. I'm talking about your sidekick"

Ambrosius refuses to even think about the effect the Director has on him. He's insisting on Nimona being the manipulator despite him being manipulated

Finally, when Ambrosius realizes something is CLEARLY wrong, he still tries to talk some sense into her

"But what if we're wrong? What if we've always been wrong?"

Despite him being a constant witness to Director's misdeeds he tries to do everything peacefully. Look at his face. This is a face of a man who doesn't want to harm. He gives the Director a chance to improve herself. I think he would forgive her after everything she's done

...but being a conservative she'd rather explode than admit she's wrong. So she attempts to kill Ambrosius again

This, again, says that no matter how much mercy you show to hateful people, they'll continue to be horrible to you. Just because they think they have a right to

Analysing Ambrosius's and the Director's relationship I think it'd be more than valid to state that she has, indeed, groomed Ambrosius to exploit and use him for her own (political and other) benefits. Other knights were brainwashed and groomed too, but something about her attitude towards Ambrosius really bugged me the wrong way

She is an excellent manipulator and Ambrosius fell victim to that, which is no surprise

i guess it's kind of an AU…

i haven't put to much thought in this idea, but i've been pondering it for some time. couple days ago i woke up and like 'what if i swap luz and philip? what if luz got to the boiling islands earlier?' then i got up, go to the shower and continue that tray of thoughts.

'i need to explain why luz is MUCH older then philip. well maybe there's no portal, let them use time pools that can get through dimensions.'

the boiling islands have never been under dictatorship of belos, which means there's no divisions into covens and wild magic. just magic i suppose.

maybe luz stuck here because the time pool into the human realm is vanished, maybe eda had ways (but no longer) to bridge the demon realm to the human realm idk. and luz is trying finding ways to be able go back home because of guilt and so on :\ also luz' outfit is just leveled up grom outfit. i just think it's neat

i she would eventually find the collector. she always experimenting with glyphs so that's inevitable. and the collector would be willing to help luz in her journey because she would help him (pinky promise)

about philip… idk he just got here.

he would definitely go through character growth arc and he could see that witches are not evil i hope. still would be hiding his human origin. luz too i think. idk why would luz do that but it feels like it have to be this way. just like she's hiding the collector.

and the collector gonna be so HAPPY to have a new friend. philip not so much, but nobody asked him oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So just finished watching the ep so review. Spoils ahead:

So the episode was ok to me, solid 6/10 one of the better episodes which since this was supposed to be an "extravagant" ep why does it got better quality than the main eps, idk Viv has her moments like this ep and other eps its a train wreck in writing ect.

Mammon worked on my nerves, from design to his movements, personality ALL of him was annoying, which props for an annoying Villian but its Villian I never want to see back again and he's hinted for some sort of return.

Side tangent: Mammon is like the how many-ith Villian to get a return ep/hint at one. It was 1st cherubs, then dorks, then stella/ice twink, striker/crimson now Mammon & according to the leaked storyboards a ghost guy that tries to talk IMP into off-ing themselves... its a flipping lot and cherubs & dorks seem to be forgotten dispite dorks knowing & having hard evidence they exist, flip Viv chill it with your Villian of the week cos its way too many now.

Anyway, Blitz didn't need to be in this ep besides the flashback. Ozzie got him to talk Fizz out of being Mammon's puppet but ultimately Ozzie spoke him out of it & gave him courage to quit/confront Mammon. Even Blitz being a bodyguard/killing people for Fizz could've been any imp. Blitz is starting to feel like Steven from SU, in every ep even tho the ep doesn't need him/ the episode surrounds topics a wee child shouldn't be in (i.e Lapis trauma dumping on Steven & he a child isn't really equipped to handle that situation).

My fave part of this ep was Ozzie and Fizz. Ya'll I legit prayed Viv wouldn't mess these two up and my prayers were answered. Absolutely a joy these two were. Fizz especially what a darling. Loved that small scenes with him and the deaf imp child, l dont know sign language but it looked genuine animated and was just sweet moments.

From their interactions, Fizz's panic attacks/self doubt felt & were genuine... I felt that as someone that has panic attacks from high stress on my studies/life. It was just handled well. Fizz feeling less than and needing to prove himself from 1. his past 2. his appearance, that accident affected his self image/worth so much (why I felt him forgiving Blitz was too hastily done but I digress) & 3. him doing this Mammon contest still to gain/earn Ozzie's love for him cos Fizz believes Ozzie only sticks around because of this fame Mammon gave Fizz. Ozzie finally saying what he loves about Fizz was lovely, wanted that in the 1st ep but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Their song was... I didn't like it BUT the message in it was beautiful. Lastly Fizz saying fuck you to Mammon from the courage/strength Ozzie gave him was a nice send off... also Ozzie saying he loves Fizz ah ngl that made me smile agh I just love them. I want to see them more than the Stolitz show but thats only a wish. Props Viv, you get 1 brownie point not messing this up.

Last findings, the ep was bloated as hell my soul Viv please stop cramming so much in an ep, this one is 30 mins long & yet still felt bloated. Pacing was a motherfuka damn it was bad & the swearing was jarring (its a Viv written ep I don't expect any less but still gonna point it out) and the comedy wasn't so prominent in this ep, Blitz/Mammon gave some comic relief but in the best and worst ways:

The way the VA delivered this line "to be fucked" made me laugh, the line is cringy but the delivery lol gold

Aand Blitz, my soul shut the fuck up & get out this ep. Last ep & this one he said something so agonizingly cringe I pulled my face

"Step back you idiots..." barron voice was threatening but calm one of the groups buddies stepped up tho it was a TALL boy with brown hair and pale skin and boy did he look not happy...

"I said step back away from my sister..." barron was no not messy around his number one goal was to protect me and then barron took out a whistle ready to blow it if needed to

"Barron what are you doing?! ... Their tryin to help us...!" I looked at Barron but Barron didn't even glance at me as he started right their protecting me with his body but I stepped up

"I am y/n srry for my brother he is protective of me.." I said trying to calm down the tension and girl with brown hair and chocolate skin came up going out of her own brother grip and guard

"I am taylor my brother is also protective of me it's a bit tiring..." taylor said while giggling a bit I giggled a bit too knowing we had something in common

MK1 Sektor ⚙️

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

Probably for all the reasons most folks dislike her, lmao!

MK1 Sektor is nothing like OG Sektor! I don't like OG Sektor, so I don't care that he was replaced (especially by a woman, sue me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) Plus, her being different is kind of the point of being a Multiverse story, we came here to see different, and she sure is different!

She's not pure evil like her OG self, and thus not beyond redemption! Sure, she's really, really, really mean, and has evil tendencies, but she needs to be encouraged to act on them.

I honestly believe that if she had better people surrounding her (instead of evil MK1 Bi-Han and her father) she would be a better person, and I like that about her, cause unredeemable characters aren’t really my type, lmao! 

Oh yeah, and in my AU, both she and Bi-Han are good people (I was already physically incapable of making evil Bi-Han, now I feel I’ll be physically uncapable of making evil MK1 Sektor, lol). Now though he is still the person she spends the most time with, he won’t bring out the worst in her like he does in canon! (They are still a reeeeeeally mean duo, tho, but they have a good heart😅💕)

But even as a villain, she's still an entertaining villain! She's a cartoonish villain who wants to do evil with her pookie, and they are most likely the duo that runs away giggling after causing some mischief. And I know that's a bit silly and doesn't appeal to everyone, but it sure appeals to me much more than "rotten to the core villain with zero charisma" that was OG Sektor (to me)

I did sprinkle my answer with some of my thoughts on MK9 Sektor, but just not to be entirely unfair to him:

I do love to make him the big bad guy in all my fics, and I make sure to make you hate him as much as I do!

He's a real unredeemable character to me and I have zero interest to write him as anything else. He lost me when he condemned Harumi, Satoshi, Hanzo, Cyrax, Bi-Han and Tomas and made Kuai Liang's life hell.

On top of it, I hardly find him charismatic. MK1 Sektor has some real energy and a fun personality, but MK9 Sektor can't even make me fear him even when he has one of the most terrifying goals!

6/10 would kill without hesitation

2. Favourite canon thing about this character?

Honestly, I really like the person she is when MK1 Bi-Han is not around cause, like I said, he brings the worst in her!

I think a lot about her interaction with Khameleon!

She was still VERY arrogant (can’t blame Bi-Han for that, lol) but quite the noble warrior! She had Khameleon's back the whole time and made sure to save Khameleon's Umgadi sisters!

She was only temporarily allied to Khameleon but in that short time she was a true ride or die and fought fiercely for her!

I think "ride or die" is her defining trait and I love that it's part of her nature, and not only something exclusive to Bi-Han. Like, "she's loyal cause she has feelings for him" no, she's loyal to him cause she's a loyal person!

(And a little speculation here, if I may: the reason Sektor went after Harumi so quickly even when Cyrax insisted she should be left out of the fight was because she saw herself in Harumi.

Harumi is also a loyal and fierce protector, and she wouldn't back down when Kuai needed her. Sektor knew that if their roles were reversed, she would react the exact same way and would be as much of a threat as Harumi was!

It was a true game recognising game moment, lol!)

3. Least favourite canon thing about this character?

Her boyfriend, lol💀

Look, I love Sekhan as an evil couple, they match each other's freak, they are goofy and silly, and as long as they STAY LIKE THIS, and don’t become a real threat to my girls, Harumi and Cyrax, by starting the “body horror factory,” I’m good with them! 

But I can't help but still wish they were my “mean but with heart of gold” duo ✊🏾😔

They did make a little cameo on my Umgadi Girls fic, and I really liked how they came out! I think this is my favourite way of writing them!

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

Fanarts? Lol🙃

I’m still to explore beyond Tumblr to see what the rest of the Fandom is doing, but here in the neighbourhood… hmmm, I guess any positive take is valid, and they come mostly from the Sekhan part of the Fandom, so though I don’t love this ship, I find some joy in it, especially when it’s more comedy focused!

They are really a funny couple, and I think folks are sleeping on it!

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

I saw some folks saying she was being a “hypocrite” when she said Kuai had "forgotten the meaning of family” but my headcanon/theory/character analysis is that she was actually being cunning and trying to create some animosity between Tanya and Kuai.

We know she turned her back on her mother, and we know Kuai has EVERY reason to be mad at Bi-Han. We all know this. But Tanya doesn't!

For Tanya, Kuai is the guy putting his own brother in second place, while Sektor is the devoted woman doing everything she can to rescue her man!

Huh, I wonder which one this grieving widow would be more inclined towards in case the two had any major disagreement and she had to side with one!

Ma girl is slyyyyy!

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?

Best friend, best girlfriend, you name it! Either way, I say it's Khameleon!

I know, obvious choice! But hear me out!

I keep saying that Bi-Han brings out the worst in Sektor, and a better company could encourage her to be her better self! And I say Khameleon is the one!

Sektor wants recognition! She's a genius and wants to be acknowledged as such! We can tell cause she's always flexing her armour and her skills!

And who were the two people who praised her? Bi-Han, sure. But also:

Here's a genuine compliment! One of the few she gets! And we can tell it's genuine cause Khameleon has no reason whatsoever to lie to her. Heck, she doesn’t even have a reason to compliment her! She views Sektor as the enemy!

Sektor probably realised that, too, given how she acts later. She saves Khameleon from Chaos!Geras and then teases her in the most friendly and heartfelt way possible!

No, seriously, just take a look at this body language!

Girl has her mask covering her whole face, and she still manages to have a visible shit eating grin!

Praise this little shit, lmao!

Tell me these two wouldn't have the best relationship ever! The cutest friendly rivalry!

She could be doing so much good, but instead she was almost executed because she chose to side with him! She could be Grandmaster, but she lost that chance when she chose to set Mr Sleeping Beauty free instead!

Bi-Han drags her down, and I think Khameleon could help her see that!

A little fun fact about my AU, since you're interested:

I plan to have Khameleon and Sektor meet there too!

I'm still working on the details but the general idea is to have Sektor and Bi-Han (and Cyrax too) travelling to Outworld cause he got "infected" with an unknown source of magic (cause I want Noob Saibot in my AU) and they are looking for a cure.

The Umgadi girls invite Sektor to train with them so she has something to do while Bi-Han is being treated. There she meets Khameleon and though they don't get along at first (cause Sektor is being, well, herself, lol) they eventually get to like each other!

The reactions are what I'm looking forward the most, lmao:

Sektor: I must say, Khameleon, you... are not as terrible as I thought you would be.

Khameleon: Was that supposed to be a compliment?

Cyrax: The highest...

Bi-Han: How nice of you to get a girlfriend while I was dying.

Sektor: You were just dying a bit, don't be a drama queen.

DSaF animation in progress! I recently discovered the trypophobia animation meme and something compelled me to make one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There’s a lot I have to change and finish, but I wanted to share here since I like it so far. The main thing I need to figure out is backgrounds. I kinda want to make really abstract backgrounds that move and pulsate, sort of like the characters in Divine Swamp Fever, but I can’t decide if the song and transitions are too fast for that tho…

I need to figure out how Peter’s part should go. I know I want it to be in the factory but I always have trouble drawing the factory with how little we get on what it looks like. The rest of the meme will probably focus on Henry, and mainly Dave.

I already have a few small things I wanna change. Mainly, I want the puppet to blink, right before the tears show one her face. She’ll have the little white pupils when she opens her eyes to further signify that Dee is possessing it. I also am having trouble drawing Jack. I really don’t know how to color him in these clips, because he’s just died and isn’t really “the orange guy” yet, but is still undead. Also I have no clue how to draw the springlock wounds through his jacket, or how much his clothes would be ripped.

Maybe a bit random but it always confused me that weather Oz was a child of ill omen or not was a debate just because he isn’t human when baskervilles aren’t fully considered human and like half of the story making sense if he isn’t one and also oswald literally called him one like am I blind I feel blind why aren’t people talking about this

ngl pretty much any ph-related discussion i witness is against my will so i didn't even know that was a point of contention lol.

this is what i have to say on that topic though

as far as i know it was never specified that children of ill omen are exclusively human. most things in ph are pretty open-ended and leave room for a million different interpretations anyway (despite fandom often seeing it from a black & white lens -- which is part of why i usually avoid discussion about it lol). the things i remember actually being specified off the top of my head are

1. oswald's statement that children of ill omen are "irregular existences produced by the core on a whim" 2. lacie's theory of the core producing children of ill omen out of a desperate need for someone to find her & save her from her loneliness 3. the fact that there have been children of ill omen who were siblings to the glen of their time, aside from lacie & oswald

in any case, i don't know everything so i could be wrong! like you said, oswald did explicitly refer to oz as a child of ill omen buuut it's not an explicit focus in the manga. i didn't even connect the dots myself until like 2019? so i can understand how people could just miss it entirely. but vehemently denying it is kind of odd to me because oz reflects a lot of the struggles lacie & vincent had as children of ill omen. imo break is the odd one out, conventionally speaking. i could go on about that all day tho so i'll spare the details ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thoughts on red-crackle? I'm not a fan of it myself it's like an e.....hh.. For me

I like it. I'm even part of the Valentine exchange coming up. Didn't do redcrackle week tho cause its at the same time and i already did the fanart event AND the valentine thing so- 😔

However, I imagine them in a perpetual 'Will they, Won't they' scenario. The absolute lengths this boy went to to ensure Carmen was free was palatable to me. But then he steps back and goes, "She doesn't need me complicating her life." Bitch, why? Complicate how? They already arrested the crime organization! Carmen did the same thing but at least they were hiding from VILE when she did so it made sense.

But anyway that leaves room for more 'will they, won't they' to me. I already know he likes her, the question is he gonna keep doing crimes? Will he be able to forget his time with her and move on? Will she? Will their paths cross again and what sides will they be on when they do? A lot of it's from his point of view cause I can't get a solid read on Carmen as a character. She barely got any development when it came to her feelings on relationships outside her mom. Like she's very stunted, so I don't find her as fun to draw as other characters.

But they are both very hot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
