i wish i had really long hair again
#there's this asmr video i used to watch all the time that i rediscovered and the girl is just brushing and playing with her friend's hair#i want that so so so bad. i want to have a peaceful sleepover and play with each other's hair i find it so soothing it's my favorite#but it happens so rarely#i miss being rlly little in elementary school and sitting on the rug quietly and my friend braiding my hair. you don't really get#that these days... and i like playing with other people's hair as well but most of the people close to me 1. have short hair and/or 2.#we haven't established a history of much physical contact so i worry it would be weird#but i want to be touchy with my friends more i do. i feel like i'm withering away. but i don't know how to establish that or go about it#auuhggg#finielspeaks

I would have totally been friends with the one I liked. just not the other one. and you can't pick just one#the annoying one called sex “the horny” and I wanted to nope the hell out of there#I tried to build emotional distance by talking about how I was leaving at the end of the year and got told "#got told 'I'll still care about you even after you're gone' which like...#I react so so poorly to people who care so much they overstep my emotional boundaries#that's like. lowkey a trigger for me. I showed off my scars and they reacted with sympathy.#sympathy over my sick-ass scars that I'm proud of. I was like 'aren't these cool?' and they reacted with sympathy. no thanks#once again.. I like men. it was an experiment but I'm done. I wanted to see what it was like and I got my taste#they go on the list of people I've had sex with only once. because I usually do not go back for a second time with people#there was a chance I could have gotten one of them to play aoe with me that's the only potential benefit I could have gotten from them#otherwise nothing I wanted. they weren't good hiking pals. not good skating buddies. lame taste in movies.#the annoying one talked about wanting to be a sugar mommy which I should have seen as another un-vibe data point#cause I don't vibe with overly generous caring people either#tbh I'd rather be hated than simped over. this was about 1.5 years into my last full time job in my boss’s cubicle while he was at the construction plantable on the phone. my coworker took the picture. i frequently stole cup o noodles from his stash for my own lunch. i would go on to work there for an additional 5.5 years after this was taken. exceptional employee.

#ultimately i cant stop u#but it really isnt a cat for first time owners#the amount of clients i have at work telling me#the cat is too much to handle for them emotionally and physically#if u want to go for a specific breed of cat#id recommend a ragdoll#very docile friendly sweet and affectionate cats#but in all honesty go to ur local shelter and pls just get a domestic short/long hair#especially the older ones because they are GREAT for first time cat owners#also the older ones will love u so so so so so much#my 9 year old lady who i adopted at 5 is soooooo in love with me#she misses me everytime i leave the house for even one hour!#in all honesty i was born and raised with cats and i dont think i would go out of my way to get a bengal#if one came to me thats fine

my roommate cut my hair for me tonight and at first i was (secretly) sad because it is wayyyyy too short but then i realized. i literally just got the 1989 chop. like this was all meant to happen this way
#nooo bc like 😭 it is NOT her fault. it is entirely my fault#i have curly hair (maybe i should start straightening it just to fully live out the aesthetic lmao) and i made the rookie mistake of showing#her where i wanted it to fall when it was DRY#and on top of that obviously when it comes to hair cutting everyone is always doing too much#but my friend is soooo cautious and gets anxious about these things so i honestly thought she wouldn’t do enough#and would kind of ask me while doing it in increments#like last time when i had my roommate cut my hair i couldn’t even tell that she did ANYTHING#but anyway yeah she definitely went shorter than where i pointed which already was faulty in the first place because i forgot how much it#would curl up#i mean i’m actually happy because it’s been frustrating me how absolutely tangled it’s been getting so that’s a relief#but i’m mostly sad because it’s about to be halloween#and i wanted my dead ends GONE for halloween because i am being barbie. who has notoriously perfect hair!#and they definitely are but i also lost all my length#like i’m trying to tell myself it’ll grow back soon but the last time my hair was this short was maybe like two years ago#and i’ve missed my long hair so bad it was finally starting to come back#but now it’s gone again and i have to start all over ☹️ and my barbie hairstyle options are severely limited#i will probably do braided pigtails#mine

TRUE!!! the original post was just made in reference to things that had inspired my own design and a wish to see more variety among the masked long-haired braided human designs that were absolutely DOMINATING the place at the time (nothing wrong with that, love those ones and i've drawn a few myself, just came from a perspective of missing seeing the truly unique designs that made me associate the design with the artist ;-;) but yea it definitely applies outside of just him. and outside of just pigs, looking at random animals can be a great reminder of how varied and weird some stuff can actually be :D
one of my favorite ocs, who i have drawn a grand total of two times bc i have been very lazy with art lately, actually ended up happening only because i got inspired by my own post fkjdhg
