dazai gets treated by yosano and keeps a straight face the whole way through, not flinching or complaining one bit but the second kunikida walks in he turns into such a pitiful mess and is all like “kuniii everything huuurts 😣” and lets him fret over him while yosano is just like standing there like 😐

The cutest detail I never got over in this panel is that Ranpo pictures Kunikida in his mind with the softest smile on his face. (the guy who always has a serious expression and RARELY smiles) !!!

Atsushi falling asleep after a case. He's had a long day and dozed off while Dazai and Kunikida were briefing the client.

Dazai nudges Kunikida and gestures to Atsushi as they head back over. Kunikida shakes his head and grumbles about professionalism.

But gently picks Atsushi up and puts him on his back as he and Dazai head for the car.

Dazai ends up with Atsushi laying on the back seats, running a hand through his hair and humming his double suicide song.

While Kunikida takes the drivers seat and drives as carefully and quietly as he can back to the Agency.

Oh Atsushi will get an earful for sleeping on the job, whether it was technically over or not... But, but maybe for now he can just rest in peace.

If Kunikida takes the longer route back and Dazai drapes Atsushi in his coat, than that's between them.

I hate them both and I hope they both EXPLODE and be put in a blender and then poured into a bowl and then baked at 100 degrees on low-medium heat for 20 minutes in the oven. tearing my hair out
