James walked into the gryfindor common room to see Regulus and Sirius talking to each other in possibly heated manner. He walked near them and heard that we're only arguing about something trivial. "Hey guys"

"Hey prongs."

Regulus had essentially been a staple in the gryfindoor common room ever since the brothers made up last year. The brothers went back to arguing as James  sat down on the couch, stretching his legs across the it. As he scrolled through instagram stories, he stopped on the story of a brown and green haired boy lip syncing to a song by Ayesha Erotica. He replayed the story a couple time. He moved towards the like button-

"How many more times are you gonna watch the story Jamie?" James' face flushed as a he leaned his head back so that he can see the boy from his screen standing behind him. Even in the upside down way that he was viewing the boy he still was handsome. "Stop staring James, itll cross your eyes." Barty says walking around to the couch. He moved James's legs and sat down before pulling James legs back on top of him. "You do see to blush a lot when I jokingly flirt with you."

"Shut up Bartimus."

"Cmon Jamsie, why won't you ever flirt back." Barty pouted "You're taking away from my fun."

James was laying on the bed in his room when he heard the door open. "Hey Jamie." Barty said sulking in the room. "What's up B." Barty flopped into James bed looking at him n before dragging a hand down James' arm. "I've been wanting to get you alone in your room." He smirked. James grabbed his arm pulling him so that they were chest to chest. Barty looked like a deer caught in headlights "Me too." He mumbled so close to Barty that he could feel him breathing.

"Well- I- Fuckkk"

"Awww, you can dish it but can't take it baby?"

"I- James." Barty said making no move to back up

"Oh wow, full first name? It must be serious." James joked

"Don't hide from me B." James said as he rolled over so that he was laying on top of Barty. His chest right against Bartys.

Barty leaned up propping up on his shoulders and pressed his lips against James'. He pulled back after feeling the kiss not being reciprocated. "I-I fucked up, I- Jamie please don't-" He was cut off by James' enthusiastic kiss. The kiss knocked the wind out of Barty. He had never been kissed with so much admiration. He groaned into the kiss wrapping his arms around the athlete's neck.

"Fuck, Ive wanted to do that all year." James spoke, with his lips still brushing Barty's. "Me too." Barty replied before letting out breathy air before letting his head drop back as James kissed around his neck.

They heard the door open and James didn't bother stopping. "Get out before you see something you don't want to see." Barty said as his slid his hands into James' hair. James whined, enjoying the sensation as the door closed and the two continued what they were doing.

i cant think of anything surprisingly lol usually i have a lot to say!! but i guess a fun fact about my ao3 stats is that 2 of my top 5 longest fics are ones i wrote in 2024 [3 if you include the fact that the top one is my multichap fic and i wrote a chunk of it in 2024] and theyre both 5k idi/kei and jami/azu fics lol. something about writing those pairs together makes me bonkers. i love how silly they are on their own and even moreso putting them together. theyre fun ships and i looove the board game club's funny hater friendship, and i also like playing with the concepts of the rest of them being friends/interacting in some degree lol

But like reader who is just,, incredibly shy? Like in social situations they put up a front and you would never expect them to be shy because theyre very present and speak up often despite almost blending in the background when quiet. But its a whole other story at home and such?

I have thought! Hear me out!

I know we see Katsuki as like a holiday grouch/grinch

But what if it was Izuku?

What Izuku hates holidays like thanksgiving, christmas and new years because its always "spend time with your family, your loved ones"

But its only ever been him n his mom. Especially after his fall out with Katsuki even the Bakugos stopped coming around.

When Inko got sick it just had to be around the holidays. And when she passed it was around the holidays.

It was no dad, no best friend and then no mom.

For a really long time. So no Izuku doesnt like the holidays, no Izuku doesnt get excited.

Yes Izuku is sitting in a corner of the class 3-A dorms babysitting his hot chocolate while everyone else enjoys the christmas party.

He has tried to leave 3 times and just kept getting pulled right back. Izuku sighs sipping his hot chocolate before walking toward the front of dorms and leaving out the front door.

Kirishima slaps a hard hand into Katsuki chest

"Bro whats up with Midoriya he looks like he rather die then be here" He says

Katsuki slaps his hand "Get off me meathead"

Katsuki eyes scan the room for Izuku seeing those clunky red sneakers exiting through the dorm doors.

Katsuki presses his lips to Izukus. Nothing crazy just their lips pressed together but it was enough for Izuku to get the message. Turning his head to the side, Izuku deepens the kiss.

When they pull away their faces are red and it isnt from the cold.

"Not how i planned to confess." Katsuki breathes and Izuku laughs "How did you plan too?"

Katsuki rubs the back of his neck "i was going to go visit aunties grave with you"

"Kacchan you do that every year"

"Yeah well i wanted to tell auntie im gonna take care of you a-and she doesnt need to worry"

Izuku smiles softly watching as Katsuki's ears turn pink

"Then ask her if itd be okay i date you. I know she cant answer but i just- still wanted to ask"

Izuku places his hand on Katsuki cheek making the blonde look at him. "Thats really sweet Kacchan"

"I had whole date plan too" Katsuki says "i wanted to make christmas feel special for you again"

All panic and no disco. Probably most anxious of them all. What if he hurts the child? Or worse?? Thinks youll hate him if he cant be a perfect dad so he stays up late watching youtube videos. End up more prepared than you are by the 2nd trimester. Research puts his mind at ease. At night, you can hear him talk to the child still in your stomach. "Nothing will ever hurt you or your mother... Not while im around..."

Brian:

Calmest of them all tbh. With him, it was most likely to be a planned pregnancy. He instantly pulls you into a hug and lets out a happy sigh. "My own little family..." Not much changes within your relationship. He already does so much for you and lives caring for you.

Liu/Sully:

Instant inner world conflict. Liu and Sully both fight to front so give them a minute to sort it out and be patient. Eventually Sully caves and lets Liu front first. When the disassociation stops, he looks to you with a grin. "We're gonna be a family...?" something about the way he says family strikes you. Him and Jeff have a rocky relationship and thisll be the 1st time in many years that he will have one. He pulls you into a tight hug, near crying from happiness. A few moments pass as he pulls away. Once he does, his demeanor shows that Sully is fronting now. Without a sound, he gets on his knees and kisses your stomach. "I'm always gonna protect you little one.. I was wondering if you had any tips for a beginner artist on, like, anatomy or just starting off in general? I usually just write and stick to that for OM, but some ideas feel like they should be drawn. I get confused with where I should start practicing and usually just drop the idea altogether.

Hi! Awwh thank you so much! ;v; Im so happy you get like my art enough to say that <333 💕💕💕 I know what you mean about getting ideas that feel like they should be drawn. Sometimes i get ideas that i think would be better done in writing. If you wanna share what you've written, id love to give them a read :)) No pressure tho! Ah, i get excited when someone is starting to pick up drawing. It can be challenging but super rewarding. Before i give specific tips, firstly I'd say if you are just starting out, have fun with it and dont stress too much about the technicalities. If you get too caught up with how something doesn't look right or how your anatomy is wonky, you'll bog yourself down and end up not creating at all which is sad :( In the end, its really about getting your ideas down on paper and it shouldn’t be something too too stressful since youre doing it for fun anyway! I have to remind myself that no one is holding me at gunpoint and forcing me to create drawings with perfect anatomy or proportions, im still learning! And thats okay!

With that out of the way, here are some tips you can hopefully use. Im not that great at anatomy either, but what helps me a lot is references. Its pretty typical advice, but it really helps me understand form and what the human body can and cant do. like can the arm twist that way? Idk, look up a reference. Although it is the best way, sometimes its really overwhelming to look at actual pictures of humans and trying to translate that to a cartoony anime-ish drawing so you can start out by referencing anime (or cartoons) instead. When i was starting out i used to do little studies on styles that i liked. That can help a lot with seeing how artists you like draw certain things. For example how they make the arms and legs not look stiff, the specific curves they use for the waist, the folds in the clothes, etc etc. (Goes without saying here, but just don't upload your studies or copied drawings on the internet and claim it as your own and you're all good) I’d insert pictures of my own studies but i dont have them with me where i am rn so i cant do that unfortunately sorry! So lets say you have this super specific pose in mind and you cant find a reference for it or youre just too lazy to sort through hundreds of pictures on google or pinterest to find that one perfect ref img. You can just pose and take a picture of yourself. i do this a lot and sometimes get my friends (who are also art students so that makes things easier haha) to help if i need it. If you really dont want to do that tho, something i also do a lot is to do the pose while drawing it. Feeling and seeing where my body naturally leans and where body parts are relative to each other in a certain pose really helps. for example if im drawing someone waving, how far away is the hand from the head, should the elbow be out or close to the body, how long should the forearm be etc etc. Yknow the thing where you make the same expression as the character you're drawing? The way you kinda feel the way its supposed to look? Yeah its like that but for poses fjsv i hope this makes sense. Personally im not a big believer of the "Draw everyday!! Even when you dont feel like it!!" advice. But If youre really enjoying what you do, youd wanna be doing it every day anyway. And the more you draw, the more comfortable itll become and the more things will kind of make sense when you notice patterns as you practice. I guess what im trynna say is make the practice fun and not feel like a bother so you'd wanna do it more and in turn improve more. Its a cycle haha.  Im not the most qualified to give advice but i hope this helped a bit? There are plenty of sources on the interwebs that are very useful and can probably help you a lot. I hope you keep drawing anon! Tldr; Draw what you want, use references, strike the pose and feel your body, make practice fun (whatever that might mean for you), the more you do it the better you’ll get

Bubba will actually fight his brothers. Nubbins and Chop Top will try to see how dark you can get because it's so easy to do so.

Bubba will and has grabbed Dayton's beating stick and whooped the twins asses with it. Drayton was surprised and proud of him. Also a little scared.

You're either in the kitchen helping with small tasks or sitting down folding laundry or sleeping. Don't expect to work at all if your injured. You'll be locked upstairs.

Don't be surprised if he rarely has sex with you. He's just so worried you're so fragile! He doesn't want you to break! You're not a toy you're his little Y/N! His baby! He loves you so much and will treat you like a glass figurine.

Dont expect to do ANYTHING in this man's presence. Maybe if you whine enough he'll give you small tasks like rinsing off food or watering plants and be expected to be carried every where.

It'll take at least four years and very little injuries for him to even CONSIDER sex. Not really though but if you beg and accept the rules maybe you'll get sex from this gentle giant.

He's more careful than Bubba though. He's more in control of his emotions than him. But be prepared to be treated like a baby. He even starts to baby proof the house.

Thomas will beat the FUCK out of Hoyt or Monty if they bother you or even touch you. He let's them push him around for the most part but not when it comes to you. He refuses to let the best most precious thing in his life be ruined.

Migraine

Buck doesn't like getting sick. He really hates it, because he doesn't want other people to take care of him. Also with everything that happened, he wanted to avoid being sick so he didn't have to stay home.

He forgets how bad migraines can be when he goes a long time without getting them, and he just had to get one before the end of his shift. He doesn't know what else to expect to try and lessen the pain in the bunks before driving home.

"Buck?" Eddie calls into the bunk room. On a normal day, Eddie's voice would make Buck happy, but not today. He buried his head into the pillow and groans softly. "Hey... You okay?" His voice softened when he sees Bucks head hiding in the pillow.

"I'm okay.. just a head ache." He whispers.

"Doesnt sound like it." Eddie says softly, the back of his hand caressing over his forehead. "You feel a little warm.."

"I'm fine..." He looks out from the pillow and winces hard at the light from the doorway. He shuts his eyes and covers it with a pillow.

"Migraine?" He asks softly, hand carefully massaging his scalp. Buck nodded, whimpering shakily. "Alright. I'm going to talk to cap about me taking you home. You can't drive."

"I can. I'll be fine." He whines quietly and leans into the touch on his head.

"No, Buck. Let me go talk to Bobby and I'll make sure you get home safe." He says softly and kisses his head.

Buck leans up into the forehead kiss and lays back into the bed to relax as much as he can. He tries to ignore the throbbing in his entire head, but it's so insanely painful and he feels like if he moves to much he might vomit. He doesn't want to do that, especially now.

Eddie comes back in a little while and kisses his forehead again instead of talking right away.

"Alright, you can't take the pillow, but I have a blindfold you can use for now until I get you to my house. We have black out curtains." He whispers softly. "Try to sit up but don't open your eyes, okay?" Buck slowly sits up and feels Eddie carefully tying the blindfold around his eyes.

"Thought my first time being blindfolded would be in a much sexier situation." Buck mutters softly. Eddie chuckles and carefully helps him stand. Buck trusts Eddie to lead him, and he hates how weak he feels.

"You gonna be Alright, Buck?" He recognizes Caps voice and he nods slowly.

"Itll pass. I just really need to sleep." He says softly, rubbing a hand across his forehead. "I'll be okay tomorrow!" He says shakily, not wanting to put on leave for a long time.

"If your not, you have lots of sick days you can relax a little." Bobby rubs his back gently and he can't help but smile. Eddie leads him carefully to the car, closing the car door as quietly as possible.

"I have some head phones if you want them."

"Silence doesnt really help. It's mostly light and loud noises that hurt." He said gently. Eddie smiles and rubs his back.

"Alright. Well Chris isn't home, so itll be quiet for a while." He says as he starts his car and begins driving. Buck leans back in his seat and shrugs.

"You can take me home. I can handle it."

"Oh and you think Tia Pepa wouldn't kill me for letting you take care of yourself? All my family have migraine problems. She'd kill me." He says softly.

Buck smiles and without his sight the drive to Eddie's house doesn't take too long. Eddie's a little glad he's blindfolded, because he doesn't see the looks that he gives him. He can't help his looks. Kissing his forehead made him feel so much more in love. He wanted to kiss those pretty lips of his and take care of him.

Eddie gets him into the house and on the couch, making sure he has pillows and blankets, and going to make some tea for him.

"Eddie?" Buck asks softly. Eddie's heart melts. It sounded so unusually small and soft.

"Yeah?"

"Thank you for taking care of me." He says softly. Eddie goes over and strokes his hair.

"Of course. I'll always take care of you." He says softly. "Buck?" He asks softly. He's so close to his lips.

"Yeah?"

It could be his imagination, but Buck is leaning forward to him.

"I want to kiss you." He whispers softly.

"Please?"

Eddie kisses him softly, pulling him close and squeezing the back of Bucks neck gently. Eddie loves the feeling. He feels Buck move closer, feels his lips against him and his fingers tangling into Eddie's shirt, a small whimper passing from him.

Eddie pulls away quick, surprising himself. Buck chases his lips, a small whimper falling from his mouth. Eddie gently kisses him gently again.

"I didn't know I liked you like this.." Eddie admits quietly. "I mean I liked you... but.."

"Its more then what you thought?"

"Yes." He whispers.

"That's okay. I like you a lot too."

"I hope your head feels better soon so I could see those pretty blue eyes."

"Maybe if you kiss me enough my head will feel better." Buck says softly, bumping their noses. Eddie chuckles, and kisses him firmly, sucking his bottom lip into his mouth. Buck shudders and relaxes into the kiss.

The tea kettle whistles faintly and Buck whines.

"Please handle that." Buck whispers.

"Alright.. but I want kisses after."

"Of course."

Scout: (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ not the most emotional mature of the mercs; even himself admits that he is pretty immature even for his age (early 20s), but this doesn’t means he doesn’t have empathy or that he doesn’t care about his S/O. He sees you suffering and he is big time worried. He tries to motivate you, drag you out of your bed and do something fun or at least go and buy some food. He will get annoying but he can’t just sit there and watch you rot. He is a hands-on guy, he might not understand why you are acting up like this, but at the same time he doesnt know how he can approach you. He will try to hug you tighter and bring you food and water, his shoulders can be a pillow for you to cry all day and night long and his hands are there to wipe off the tears from your face. He hates seeing his bby sad and would give half his Tom Jones memorabilia for you to wake up one day and be your old, happier self ♥

Soldier: (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ although his social skills are in scarcity, he isnt a traitor. He sees his S/O down ( mentally) and it pains him to an unimaginable extent  to see you so unmotivated . He doesn't understand why are you sad, what has happened? Did that crazy Kraut touched you? who he needs to snap the neck? He hates seeing you like this. Will be stubborn, just because he doesnt understand something it doesnt mean he can't find a way around. In the end, he will push you enough to actually break down and explain everything that has happened. For the first time in years hes just silent, he broke the dam and he is beyond ashamed of making you break down like this. He doesn't what to do so for now he will hold you as tight as he can and promise in America and whatever is holy and pure in him that he will help you untill you are again okay. ♥

Pyro: (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ they know that you are sadder than before and they can see you points of view. They themselves know that life sometimes just sucks and that its okay not to want to eat or leave your bed. But they are also afraid that whatever is plaguing you it will become worse and worse and they really don’t want to see you hurting yourself like they once did. They try helping you do simple things, drink a glass of water, play a bit with their stuffed animals, theyll help you brush your hair or wash your face. They know they baby you, but they think you need a bit more of some more smootches or cuddles. If they see you worsening or being even less active they will drag you their pillowfort and just try to keep you as close them while chanting sweet nothings and sad mumbles, please don’t loose yourself like they did. ♥

Engie: (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ he might be a cruel, cold man when hes on the field, but in reallity he is the cinnamon roll meme( he is a cinnamon roll and he might kill you tho but he is mostly a cinammon roll). He knows also that work and his projects take a really big amount of his time so he already feels very guilty. I doubt he has any humanitarian doctorates, but he has an above average understanding of human psychology; whats the point of trying  to emulate life when you cant understand it?He knows he can't address it straightforward, but he needs to get you over this slump before you do something really stupid. Que him cleaning up his workshop and carrying you there bridal style. He has a small nest of pillows and blankets and right next to it his trusted guitar.You have the whole night and the day after to spend it together and get in the bottom of the barrel. Itll be hectic but he is a very patient man and loves ya to bits ♥

Demo: (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ lowkey one of the mercs with the most expierence with depression/ depressive episodes. For once in his life he doesnt drink and tries to find the rute of the problem, if there is of course or its just pent up anger and frustation with things that have happened in your life now or in the present. In simple, you will talk. For hours if needed. He wont drink a sip becausehe doesnt want to forget even the stupidest detail from your venting. In the end, he will offer you to drink but he will drag you out of the base/ house and make you sit in the front porch/ garden  while he has set up some “ festive” fireworks ( just some small ones that erupt and turn into hearts) . He isnt the ideal psychological perfection, but if you chosed the scottish cyclops for your mate, then he shall go to the man and back just to see you smile one more time. ♥

Heavy: ˜”*°•.˜”*°• he has seen depression and has experienced it himself. It was way too traumatic for a young man to have to support a family without a father figure around. I highly headcanon him to have deppresion hence the sandwich, hes bingining while staying in the battlefield. He doesnt care about the language barrier, in order for the both of you to be as close as you are know, it means you understand eachother to a satysfying extent. He will cook you a very hearty meal and bring it to your bed with a tray and sweet tea. You can eat in silence with him simply staying by your side and rub your back, words can’t potray how he feels right now. Once you finished hell put the dishes outside and simply cuddle you ( being the least cuddly of the mercs, it means a lot). You can nap, cry, trace patterns on his sculp anything really. All his life the main cause of depression was the anarchy surrounding his life, he needs you to feel protected. He doesn’tcare how much time it will take, but he will rip the mountains apart to seeyou smile out of genuine happiness, might even cry if he is the cause. •°*”˜.•°*”˜

Medic: (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ the most medically, again qualified from the group. so he has at least that covered. He isn’t stupid, you show clear signs of cronic clinical depression ( also known as manic depression) and although it has been a long while before finding a patient to lobotomize, hed be damned if he ever butchered you up like that. He is a healer, even if enjoys his enemies to hurt a little more than they should, and a healer is here to help both the body and the mind. Will persuade you into getting under medication, even if he knows theyll have little to no effecthe just hopes the placebo effect will motivate you. He tries to mix your routine with his, ex. he wakes up really early when you finnaly after hours of insomnia fell asleep, hell tuck you in and kiss your forehead. Throughout the day hell send Scout or Heavy to bring you food or water or your medications. Pyro will be by your doorstep or you side, to keep you company during the day. At night he will carry you to the medbay and do all the talking for you if you dont feel like talking, he will listen to all of your venting. Lowkey will sit you on his lap so he can rub your back and let you cry/ just sit there, to feel his heardbeat on your face and relax. ♥

Spy: (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥     actually he isn’t that mentally mature as much as he strives to be. He has very unhealthy copying mechanisms, he fucks and smokes his torments away, but he also knows different people have different copying mechanism and he cant judge how people seek comfort. He doesnt know how to help yo, he really does but he doesnt know. He is nervous but he will probably suggest you two take a vacation away, together. He has planned it all fancy and nice, and pretty much has scanned the whole place/ area/resort you are staying and having “ friends” around. He doesnt care if you just stay all day in the resorts pool and just chill around drinking pina coladas. In the middle of your vacations, he will take you to a more secluded area and will open up about his issues , not about your relationship but about him as a person. He has many issues and he is a very difficult person to be around, so you haveto know he will never judge you. But he also doesnt know how to help you. This will make you hug him and you two can finnaly have a good, well-earned cry. Kiss him on the nose or on his head and tell him how much all this means to you and he will cry you a river and hold you till the dayhe dies, how can someone so late in his life means so, just so damn much? ♥

Being able to yell 'im taking suggestions for dinner', watching you put a bandaid on their finger when they come up to you crying, looking at you with them sleeping, watching them explain things to you in that excited voice kids get, watching You explain things to them and seeing their eyes go wide and being able to share loving you with them, knowing that at the end of the day after scraped knees and crying and whatever happens that you and i will be able to kiss each other goodnight. teaching you how to braid their hair, packing lunches planning birthdays, holiday trips and all of the drama that comes with it, exploring and watching their brains grow, watching you love them, knowing they watch us love each other. seeing them come back with friends and laugh their heads off, watching You laugh your head off. Hearing about your time with your friends, having friends that are Our friends. the quiet and the loud and the good and the hard. you might teach them guitar and i might teach them art. we can go on walks like we did at the farm and see the sun setting behind gorgeous clouds and knowing they love the world like me because we'll be able to show them we can show them and they'll have happy and loved and they will love living, we will love living. they might have boyfriends or girlfriends or not, they might get tattoos and we'll watch them try different jobs and lose passion and find new passion and it will be a whole life and it will be good and and and, it feels to good to be true. but at least now my brain lets me imagine it. at least i can see you in your attic, teaching them the Best way to beat a boss or whatever it is you guys are doing. ill look at your hands and get butterflies just like i do now, but they'll have a ring on em and youll smile every time it makes me giddy and ill smile everytime you get cute shy because i say something that exposes how soft you really are in front of our friends. i love now and today and tomorrow with you, i love the nights and the days but i cant wait for then too, not because itll be better than now but because we'll have more time and more choices and it might be harder in some ways because itll all be on us but i think it will be easier in different ways too because itll be Us. and i believe in us!!! we've already grown! so much!!! im already impressed and this is such a small amount of time compared to what we'll have
