he knew what the girls were saying was true to some–well, a huge extent. but he wasn’t looking at them.

I FUCKING LOVE TERU

Yes I love this man!! Here are some reasons why:

He is a great and selfless older brother. He took on exorcist duties since he was a little boy because he wanted Kou and Tiara to have a normal childhood,to live a happy life without facing the struggles of being an exorcist. He had his childhood taken away from him but he's okay with it if it means he can see his siblings smile. Because in the end all he wanted was to be the cool big brother to Kou and Tiara.

The memory and motivation that made him keep going on to be an exorcist was Kou smiling at him and calling him cool. This isn't the first time it was mentioned,the first panel of him smiling at little Kou when they were kids is in Young Exorcist Arc.He really loves his siblings,and as long as they're happy,then he would be content,no matter how many injuries he gets or sleepless nights.He even risks his life to shield Kou from No.6 in the Grim Reaper Arc/fight. From the beginning til now,he was always written to be someone who cares for and loves his family.

No.2 He is a good person. Before anyone comes at me with "He tortures supernaturals!He's cruel to Hanako!" I love Hanako but he's a supernatural and Teru is supposed to exorcise supernaturals. Plus, Hanako is a murderer...so...Not to mention the moments when Teru attacks Hanako (severely,not as comedy) is when Hanako provokes him or does something to deserve it,two times. The first is when Hanako puts a knife near Kou in Young Exorcist Arc,Teru saw his younger brother with a supernatural with a KNIFE,who is clearly unstable at that moment. If he hadn't intervened,Kou might have gotten hurt. It's reasonable for him to attack Hanako here as Kou could have been in DANGER..The second is when Hanako has already sacrificed Aoi. This,I don't really have to explain,he literally sacrificed a innocent girls life..

Anyways,Teru is a good person because he tries to help people whenever he can and cheer them up.

When Aoi gets harassed by a cashier,he immediately steps in when he notices. He also asks her if she hates it and asks to make jelly sharks together to cheer her up.

In the Far Shore Arc,he decides to help Akane and Nene go to No.6's boundary. He could have chosen to not help Nene go,he has no reason to but still does. As for Akane,he brings him along to rescue Aoi. Teru could have gone to rescue Aoi himself,he is capable of doing it but he knew Akane wanted to come so they both went to rescue Aoi together.

Before they go to rescue Aoi,Teru takes Akane and Nene on an arcade date to lift their spirits.

In the Altercation,the second timeline,where Nene, Akane and Teru are discussing how to go back to the original timeline,Teru tells Nene that there's still a way and Nene becomes more hopeful to go back.

Teru also has made enchanted glasses for Akane,so when Akane wears them,he won't see supernaturals so that Akane could still live a normal life.

No.3 He's pretty considerate of Aoi and Akan's friendship/relationship.

So Teru has been watching them and stopped them before they managed to kiss,so some people might think oh he's interrupting them!! Teru only interrupted their almost-kiss,he let Akane tell Aoi that he would always love her,he didn't interrupt the hug nor their talk with each other in chapter 70. Teru can be annoying but when Akane and Aoi talked with each other in Chapter 70 while all 3 were walking,he didn't interrupt those two at all,he let them talk with each other nor did he interrupt when Akane told Aoi that he likes her. For a guy that likes annoying Akane,he didn't get between them this time.

No.3 He is funny and I like his silly moments.

Last reason is despise his hatred for supernaturals,he's willing to ask Akane to use all his powers to keep Kou safe.

You counted down the minutes you had been staying in the lab. Not only had you been sick for the third time this month, you’d also been made to stay in the lab with mostly avatars, and other human scientists of course.

As much as you appreciate their care, you can’t help but feel bored. With the absence of your friends and even anyone remotely your age, you sit aside in an unused room, not exactly sure on what it’s for, some scientists simply just left you there to quarantine for awhile.

You slump in the office chair, getting bored of rolling around back and forth across the room. And then, a voice sticks out to you and differentiates itself from the background noise.

“Where is she?”

“Neteyam?” That’s Norm, why’s Neteyam here though? You assumed he would be busy with training, and if not, why would he be thinking about you?

“Uh, they’re sick.” You missed a little bit of the conversation.

“Again?”

You strain your neck trying to get a glimpse of their figures, they both stand a few metres away, but still close enough for you to hear the conversation.

“Yea. Nothing too serious, but she’s just been tired, Jake figured she’d be more comfortable here.”

“Where are they?” Neteyams eyes wander the room filled of avatars. Norm looks towards your room, eyes locking to yours.

You squeak, immediately turning away at the thought of being caught eavesdropping, but you still pick up on the next few words.

“Over there, take your time.”

The footsteps coming towards you are immediately familiar. “You’re here again?”

With a turn of your office chair you face him. “Yea, almost a second home at this point.”

He sighs, and scans the room before sitting himself on a table close to you. “Why are you always so sick?”

You giggle. “Low immune system I guess.”

Smiling at him, you slowly spin in your chair.

Neteyam watches you assumed, and suddenly brings the spinning to a stop once the chair is faced towards him, his hand resting above your head on the top of the chair.

Your face drops as he halts your movements. But with a quick look into his eyes you can tell he’s just being playfull.

Giggles fill the room, and later that day neteyam never left, opting to stay with you until you recovered.

And when your sickness finally ended, it was your turn to look after him in his marui.

Lo’ak sits beside you filled with boredom, a huff leaves his lips as he try’s to get some entertainment from the views outside the marui.

Because you were feeling unwell you weren’t exactly fit for Lo’aks adventures today.

You shuffle to turn around in the hammock. “Why don’t you just go out with Spider?”

He turns to look at you as his head tilts to rest on his knee, “Because.”

“…because?” You repeat, searching for an answer.

He huffs again, and you just smile, waiting for his answer teasingly. “Just because.” He sasses.

He groans, and melts to lay down on the floor beside your hammock, he stares at the ceiling of the marui as you turn more in your hammock to look down at him. “You shouldn’t stay here too long, I might get you sick.”

"I win. Now stay away from her." Harry said, walking away from the scene.

I mean, Weiss bringing up her difficult childhood was mid rant about the White Fang and faunus, just before Blake's reveal. I think IRL Weiss' comment and the full implications of it might have slipped under my radar too, especially as the only other mention of it are when she's alone in V2 or with Winter in V3. V2's heart to heart is just about what's been done with the SDC. Also, just knowing her father made it difficult wouldn't necessarily mean knowing she didn't have other family's support.

idk, i'd hardly call that a "mid rant", even when it's followed by weiss explaining why she hates the white fang. she's also speaking rather slow and quietly—i.e. they're not having a heated argument at that point, ranting and raving about stuff that's easy to miss bc there's so much going on—, and her teammates do take notice of it; there's a pause and everything!

like. if a friend of mine or literally anyone talked about their father coming home furious daily, and how that made for a very difficult childhood—like that's so many red flags right there—, under no circumstances would i later go "well at least you had a giant family"; that's irrelevant, because clearly it didn't make weiss' childhood any better even if she would have had the rest of her family for support, since it's something she's bringing up in the first place.

don't get me wrong, i think it's interesting look into yang's mindset; at that moment, she's not really thinking what weiss' childhood was like, she's not even really thinking about what her own childhood was like—she has a good relationship with her father, sister, and her uncle, and everything points to tai being present and taking care of his daughters even if he wasn't emotionally quite there due to his own grief—, she's thinking about what she's missing, the people who left, so when she looks at the schnees, all she sees is that they're all present and accounted for.

(this is also where V9 comes along nicely, with yang now outright stating "if there's something i'm missing, it's not because i lost it. it's because i haven't found it yet." vs yang in V4 going "i lost a part of me. a piece of me is gone. and it's never coming back.")

but that's not everything either, as the show clearly demonstrates with the schnees.

and that's why i'm a little ???? about this writing choice to have yang make that assumption in the first place considering what she does know, bc it comes across as insensitive. so either that's an intended flaw for yang to work through, eventually, at some point, or the writers forgot about what weiss said in V1.

personally i would prefer the first option bc it's more interesting character-wise, but who's to say ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(same anon as before) you guys are definitely right that seeing graphic war imagery constantly is mentally damaging, even just through a screen. And with Jewish trauma it absolutely makes sense that sharing that imagery is offensive in Israel.

I think, maybe, this is what (partially) fuels people’s hatred towards Israelis. It is definitely not common knowledge outside of Israel that you guys aren’t seeing what many of us are seeing, so when we are bombarded constantly with pictures of children’s mangled bodies, a lot of people think “how can Israelis sit back and watch this happen?!” They don’t realize that you guys aren’t watching this happen. All of the violence and gore and trauma from Gaza we’re being exposed to via the internet is incredibly distressing, but as far as I know pretty much nobody knows that Israelis aren’t seeing the same footage that much of the rest of the world is (I understand why though). I think that misconception might be driving some of the rhetoric of Israelis being cruel people who condone the killing of children, etc.

let me start by the easiest part: many times that footage is joined with unverified information and you wouldn’t believe how many of those are actually from syria. yup. nothing to do with israel. promise. the neighbors are well known for their psychological war (nassrallah spoke about it this in his speeches week, actually 🥴), so israelis aren’t too fast to believe all of those or how authentic the story behind them is.

but back to what you wrote, that’s the thing, it’s not through the screen for israelis, so there’s no need for the screen. i think that what’s hard for the west (and i don’t mean to offend anyone but this is usually the case), mostly americans, to comprehend is this is real life in israel. literally most serve in the IDF or any other national service (ambulance/special unites/police/hospitals/children at risk/prisons/welfare facilities). at the age of 18, israelis become young adults, as they are brutally exposed to life’s tragedies and have the responsibility to assist in taking care of it. it’s just the way it is. israelis don’t go about their senior year dreaming of a fancy college with a prestigious education and some worthwhile parties. they spend it thinking how they can have a meaningful service, that’s literally how it’s called- meaningful. the college stage comes muuuuch later, at the age of ~23-25. after they’ve finished their service and took 1-2 years to chill out and clear their heads from it and travel for really long periods of time (sometimes even over a year). only then they’re ready for university. it’s a whole different mentality. PTSD due to military service is so so common in israel that it’s well known that many don’t really react to that travel stage too well and completely lose it out there and come back mentally destroyed (usually due to drugs that trigger the PTSD they weren’t aware of). it’s been reported of parents that had to fly out to places like india or south america to bring back their children who lost all ability to function on their own.

my point is that, for some reason, israeli and jewish trauma is mocked or overlooked on a daily basis. for some reason it’s common to think the IDF are random AI robots or idk. nope, they’re a very real part from the very small israeli and jewish community/nation. literally most of the people in israel are or were in the IDF.

israelis aren’t heartless to those views, israelis are mostly furious at how those videos are used for, pardon, yeah? mental masturbation. please don’t see this as a direct offense to you, but it sometimes it feels like y’all enjoy watching it almost as much as you enjoy watching a sports game. also keeping up the death toll scores like the scores of the season in football. we feel like a reality show to you and it really is infuriating, because like any other reality show- it’s bias. i truly don’t think you understand how much you make the animosity worse by spreading so much misinformation and demonizing/dehumanizing israelis. it literally fuels everything to an extent far beyond your comprehension.

The bell over the shop door rings and you give the standard greeting you always give without even thinking.

"Hi welcome in." Your smile drops when you actually look at who just walked in. "Bruce." You say. "This is my place of work, what are you doing here?" You ask as he walks right up to you at the counter.

"You moved all of your stuff out of our apartment."

"Of course I did. I no longer live there, we are no longer together, why wouldn't I move everything I own out of that previously shared apartment? Did you think I was coming back? I mean it's been months at this point. Why show up here now?" You roll your eyes.

"Come on, we used to be everything together, that doesn't just go away." He frowns.

"Poof." You say. The bell rings over the door again and you look over to see Steve and Bucky strolling over to you. "Steve, Bucky, what brings you here?" You ask, part of you is relieved to see them but it's not like you can't handle Bruce yourself.

"We were in the area, thought we'd stop by to say hello." Steve smiles.

"Hello Sunshine." Bucky says.

"Hi." You chuckle.

"You still talk to these guys?!" Bruce looks from them to you.

"Who I talk to is none of your business Bruce so don't start, not to mention only one of you three has lied to me and what a surprise it's not either of the guys you accused of being mob bosses." You say. You wanna be careful with your words. Bruce has no confirmation of their involvement and you don't want to be the one to give it to him.

"Accused?! Wait a second are you telling me you don't think I'm right about that? You seriously don't think they're running a crime organization?! If that's what they've let you believe you're still being lied to."

"It doesn't matter Bruce." You sigh.

"Yes it does! They are dangerous."

"Bruce, you are the one who betrayed my trust. Not them. You lied to me. You lied in a way that can't be forgiven, repaired, or even understood. So don't talk to me about danger." You say.

"Steve, Bucky, I want him out of here, please. Don't hurt him, just get him out. And come back to me when you're done." You say.

"What was the plan here Peter? Were you gonna stab someone with the box cutter?" You laugh at his defensive stance.

"Maybe. If I had to. I dunno I just- wanted to make sure you were okay."

"Are you done with the box cutter?" You ask him.

"Well I'm going to take that. You will not be allowed one of these unsupervised again." You say grabbing the box cutter from him. "Go back to what you were doing. I'm fine." You chuckle.

"Fine. I'll be shelving stuffed dragons if you need me." He says.

"Thank you Peter." You smile. A few minutes later Bucky and Steve come back into the shop.

"The kid works for us." Bucky says suddenly.

"What?" You shake your head. You suspected as much since he's friends with Sam and Clint, but it's still shocking to have it confirmed.

"Parker. He called us because he works for us." Steve elaborates.

"HE'S JUST A KID!" You blink at them.

"Nothing dangerous. He's never even had to hold a gun outside of training." Steve defends.

"You trained the kid with a gun before he could even buy a drink?!" You ask.

"Kid's been alone a long time and we've been looking out for him since he was 15. Of course, we did, our work is dangerous and we need to make sure our people are protected somehow and we couldn't exactly send him to school with security guards." Steve says.

"Oh but they can follow me around."

"Your situation is different, your security is out of sight, and you're an adult nobody would notice other adults in an adult space, unfortunately, two guys standing at the back of your classroom like the secret service draws too much attention at a public high school." Bucky shrugs.

"Did he tell you that?" You ask.

"Yes." Bucky nods.

"Okay. So he called you to come down here because of Bruce. Is that why he works here? To watch me on your behalf? Is that why he got this job?" You ask.

"No! We didn't even know you worked together for a while." Steve shakes his head.

"Peter!!" You shout. He runs up to the front of the store and takes in your faces with a grimace.

"Am I in trouble?" He asks.

"No, I just have a question. Why did you call them? Did they tell you to do that?" You ask.

"No I just- I know Bruce and you broke up and I thought things could get ugly and you could use backup and I'm not so great with the violence even though I'm trained for it so I figured it'd be best to call them." Peter explains, wringing his hands together.

"Are you a werewolf too?" You ask.

"What?" Peter looks at you with wide eyes.

"She's one of us. You can answer the question." Steve says.

"Yes. I'm a werewolf." Peter says.

"So you heard my conversation with Bruce I'm guessing." You say.

You sit on your couch and turn on the TV to find something to watch. You're off today so you're planning to spend the day chilling. Within moments of the TV coming on Wanda rushes out of her room and into the living room where you are.

"You're off today." She says.

"I am." You nod.

"Do you have plans?"

"No but I take it you're about to change that." You say.

"I'm blocking you off for the day. I feel like between work and relationships we hardly have time to hang out so, we'll be doing that today." She tells you.

"Alright, that's fair. I'm cool with that."

"Good. I have like two emails to answer and then we'll go out."

"Take your time! I'll be here all day." You tell her. She dashes back to her bedroom. The emails don't take her long to finish and soon you're out the door with her. You get lunch together and play a mini game of catch up where you tell about Bruce coming to your job the day before and then you go shopping for a few hours. Eventually, you return home to have dinner together and watch another movie from your shitty movie roaster. The one you pick however is so boring you actually start playing cards at some point and the movie just becomes background noise to your game.

"You know, you are so very happy these days." Wanda chuckles midgame. "It's nice."

"Yeah- Bucky and Steve have been very sweet to me." You muse.

"Good. You deserve it." She nods. A knock at the front door interrupts your game and Wanda gets up to open it. There's a short exchange that you pointedly try not to eavesdrop on and eventually Wanda scurries back into the living room with a guilty smile that tells you exactly who's at the door.

"Vision?" You ask with a smile.

"He made surprise plans for us tonight. I know we were going to hang but-"

"Go! I love Vis and he makes you 'so very happy' these days so you should definitely go. We've been together all afternoon we can continue this any other night of the week." She hops over to you excitedly and kisses your cheek.

"You are the best!" She squeals rushing to her room, presumably to grab her things.

"Hey Vis! Come on in!" You shout to the door.

"Hello y/n. Sorry for disrupting your evening." He says walking into the apartment.

Since you're alone, you decide to put away some laundry that's definitely just been sitting in a basket since you washed them a few days ago. With music playing from your speaker, you fold and hang your clothes accordingly humming along to your playlist. Just before you're done, a sound pricks your ears. You stop the music and poke your head out of your room to double check that you're not imagining things. Someone is jiggling your doorknob rather aggressively. Your eyes scan the room quickly to find something for self defense while you frantically grab your phone. You grab a frying pan from the dish rack in the kitchen and wait by a slightly obstructed corner of the living room while you call Wanda. You have an SOS code and truthfully you trust her to get here quicker than cops would. You gasp silently, dropping your phone in the process, when you suddenly hear your door cracking. They broke it. They just broke the door, how annoying. One, two, three sets of footfalls. There's no way you're gonna take all three of them on your own.

"You're sure she's home?" One of the voices says.

"Yes I'm sure. Find her." Another one grumbles. You see two shadows walk down the hall towards the bedrooms while one walks further into the living room. Before he can turn around you swing the frying pan at his head with full force. He stumbles back and lets out a curse, shouting for his accomplices while you make a dash for the door. You make it out of your apartment and down the hall before hands suddenly snatch you at the waste. You barely manage to fight against the hold before you feel a prick in your neck and your body starts to go limp on you.

Long post:

An undertale Au that I'll never work on because I don't have time. But because its been living in my head for a while I'm just gonna lay some things out in hopes it leaves my mind.

For clarification I don't ship Frans (I don't really ship anything) but I made this and wanted to be part of the story for some reason. (Its also a better version of a terrible Frans au I made a while ago)

Well technically its more of a UTDR Au becuase plot: Frisk is the seventh soul (eighth if you count Chara) Frisk makes it through the ruins and ends up killing Toriel. Frisk tries to make it through snowdin and waterfall, dies a bunch of times, gives up, resets and stays in the ruins. (Yes Toriel is still dead)

Frisk stays in the ruins, then many years later another human falls (Kris? I'm not sure if I want it to be a UTDR AU honestly) and Frisk is like, "yeah I'll help you make your way through the underground"

Ignoreing that part though, from Frisks time in the ruins, they're the one who ends up talking to Sans threw the door. Frisk ends up confessing to Killing Toriel, and Sans is something like " bro why tf would you do that? She was my friend" and Frisk is like "She tried to kill me first" eventually Sans just kinda gives up on caring about it since there's nothing he can really do about it. They talk to each other through the door, up unit the last human falls.

Thats when they finally meet each other face to face. Sans wasn't the judge yet when Frisk first went through the underground. Sans, at this point, doesn't really consider Frisk a Friend or anything like that, just someone he can talk to when he needs to. He is annoyed an slightly concerned that since Frisk left the ruins they might end up hurting other people so he keeps an eye on both them and the human Child.

Frisk on the other hand is aware of Sans suspicions and purposefully makes him worried about what they might do (when in reality they have no actual desire to harm anyone else). The reason Frisk does this is because they like him and his reactions, but they're 100% aware that Sans doesn't like them, and probably won't like them. So they just annoy him for the fun of it.(Their logic doesn't make sense I know)

I know this may not sound like Frans, but it is. It involves one of my favorite ship dynamics: Annoying "psychopath" X Someone too apathetic/tired to care.

When Frisk first fell they were 12, by the time the next human fell they're around 22

Frisk would still have control over the timelines and would be the one bringing the human back to life, and giving advice on how they should continue.

The fallen child is around 11-13 I'm honestly not sure about the age.

Look I’ll be honest. I like it. It’s fun to play and I think the characters are… good. But I’m just not feeling any of the sprites that much.

Bryson is the best looking to me personally, but his personality and his name both turned me off him. I knew a kid called Bryce and I hated him so much, and Bryson is like an American version of it bleugh. He’s immature and the fact he’s still holding this grudge against Joyo is fucking dumb. I really wanted to like him. If they were gonna have a grudge make it something serious. Or at least make it so that they both still like the same girl. The fact it fizzled out with the girl but both of them still care about it says a lot about their maturity.

Alex, I want to love him but I’m not a slow burn kind of girl. I’m an instant fireworks, you’re-my-type-on-paper and explosions of feelings kind of girl. If it gets good later I might switch to him.

Joyo, the mysterious thing was so cute to start with, especially when he started getting all flustered on the first night, but I feel like he opened up about his feelings to MC so fast. Like he turned on an absolute dime. I know I just said I liked instant feelings, but for his character it just seems inconsistent. I’m also not a huge fan of his sprite. I don’t like his hair, and his pose is weird. Also see fight with Bryson.

Raf is too sweet and he’s not for me. He might grow on me later, I thought Bobby was a bit annoying to start with and, well, see username.

Honestly I’m kinda just holding out for Cassius. I hope he comes back. I just feel like the sprites aren’t hot enough to keep me interested at the moment, especially when I have Wesley from THTH and Keiran from LIB (and Lucifer from HS) to keep my mind occupied.

Look at last season, Ozzy & Marsh, Roberto, Lewie, Andy…. And then you give us…. This? Idk.

Who wants to hear how I see flower husbands (WARNING: it’s bad. My interpretation I mean. It’s not a good one. Everyone is gonna hate it. It’s gonna look like I don’t take anything seriously except I’m completely serious about it being this stupid. If you care a lot about flower husbands interpretations whether positive or negative you might want to look away)

So 3rd Life starts and Scott is evil. For some reason. Jimmy finds him and he KNOWS that Scott sucks but he decides “I can fix him ❤️” except he DOESN’T EVEN TRY to fix him because he loves him the way he is. For some reason.

Scott was evil but being given a flower warmed his heart ONLY ENOUGH TO TRY HAVING A HUSBAND. He didn’t actually become any better or anything and barely showed this love to Jimmy.

JIMMY, however, was very happy with Scott being with him. Now Scott certainly did things that Jimmy wasn’t so happy with, but also you’re not a real jimmy solidarity viewer if you think he isn’t into guys who degrade him. He also viewed himself as quite incompetent and enjoyed having someone who was more competent and would correct his mistakes. NOT THE MOST HEALTHY and sometimes felt to Jimmy like it backfired BUT OVERALL HE WAS PRETTY HAPPY WITH IT.

If anyone ever said “dude this is an abusive relationship you’re in” he would’ve been like “yeah Scott’s so annoying” and Scott would’ve been like “BINCH HOW DARE YOU” and they would’ve got into a fist fight. So the other person goes “WOAH okay so you’re gonna break up then” and they go “no ❤️” and start making out. Nobody knows what this means.

In reality everyone who would point out that the relationship is toxic would ONLY be doing it because they have an ulterior motive cuz EVERYONE IN 3L WAS TOXIC AF 😭 also if they gathered all of the couples together they would ALL start fighting each other so even though FH is TECHNICALLY the worst they manage to LOOK like the healthiest couple by virtue of NOT CARING.

Then Jimmy dies and Scott FINALLY goes “WAIT A MINUTE… I loved him 🥺💔” like it ACTUALLY took him THAT LONG to figure it out. The feelings were actually there the whole time slowly growing but Scott couldn’t recognize them. Not until he lost Jimmy.

And so Jimmy, who saw evil scott smajor and said “I can fix him” and proceeded to NOT EVEN TRY doing that, ended up ACTUALLY FIXING HIM. I mean obviously he still has issues but he stopped having pure evil in his heart and started having a more average amount of evil typical of quite a few life series players.

Now Jimmy’s job is done and he must leave. OKAY SORRY. I have a few interpretations as to why Jimmy tends to act off about FH later on. Here’s some, feel free to mix and match idk.

- well feelings get erased between seasons maybe they REALLY FREAKING wiped Jimmy’s clean

- a big reason Jimmy went with Scott was because he saw Scott as more competent, but Jimmy’s slowly started having more faith in himself so loving Scott is just a reminder of how pathetic he used to be, so whenever Scott insinuates that Jimmy loves him Jimmy equates that to saying Jimmy’s pathetic and needs Scott to take care of him. And he’s not.

- Ever since he died in 3L Scott has been suspiciously less violently abusive which turned Jimmy off so now he needs to go find a new toxic bf cuz all Scott does now is give him flowers and THATS NOT WHY HE FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM!!! 😭 (worst option)

- THE REASON I’m not going with the popular “jimmy realized how much the relationship sucked” thing is because Jimmy tends to look back on a lot of FH stuff pretty fondly AND likes being FRIENDLY with Scott he just doesn’t seem to like the topic of them being IN LOVE.

- it could also be because Scott is annoying af and Jimmy would’ve been fine with it actually if Scott didn’t bring it up every single chance he gets

Also a lot of people when talking about 3L FH bring up empires s1 FH but guys I didn’t watch that season 😭 I mean I watched that date episode I don’t really have anything to say on it. I think esmp1 FH is funny tho cuz the uber fancy elf king goes “I NEED that slimy fish from the bog” but idrk what goes on in esmp1. And also I am VERY “separate SMPs” so whatever goes on in esmp STAYS in esmp LMAO I just mean it’s mostly irrelevant to my life series interpretation.

And then future life seasons like eh. Scott typically ends up ruining it by saying “we were married” every time he sees Jimmy like OKAY BRO way to show your ex you’ve stopped thinking about him slash SARCASM!!!

I am still team LIMITED LIFE FH. Limited Life FH is FH if it was good. I really don’t get why people use it as a negative fh thing it was like their most positive relationship in the whole series. I think the only time Scott wronged him was accidentally causing his death one or more times. Then asking him to say I love you back which is really not like the worst thing you can do to someone really LMAO.

Anyways this is supposed to be about 3L FH. I like 3L FH cuz they’re so weird. Is it healthy? No. Should it have traumatized them? Yeah probably. Did it? No. Was everything really under-negotiated? Yes. Did even THEY understand THEIR OWN relationship? Not really. Is this a GOOD interpretation? Probably not, no. Is Jimmy okay? Probably not but he’s a lot more okay than he should be. Is Scott okay? Dude. He’s something.

Long story short my interpretation of Jimmy is a lot more freaky than most others. idk guys JUST saying. WHO does he gravitate towards being gay with? Usually guys who bully him. Checkmate. Now I’m not saying he knows what he’s doing but he certainly THINKS he does.

I don’t know man. You can talk to me about FH like it’s a good relationship or like Scott traumatized Jimmy and I’ll try to match your energy but this is the truth I have been hiding deep inside of me for so long. I think they’re a weird mess that nobody wants to touch. (In just 3L. Cuz Jimmy somehow fixed Scott by standing there and dying. So they became more normal later on.)

So yeah, we're done with arc 9 and well... you can count me as one of the "wtf was that arc final" people.

I'm gonna talk about Yuamu, the Darkmen but also how I feel about this arc as a whole but first of all:

If anyone sides with Yuamu/thinks she's valid for her actions? Fine? But I really hope that I don't have to see anyone throwing a "you just hate on Yuamu because she's a girl, you would let it slide if a guy did the same" at me because put Yuhi in her place instead and you can bet that way more people would be ready to call him a traitor and a-hole than Yuamu. (and yes, I would call out Yuhi too since that behaviour is shit imo and it doesn't matter that I like him) Like honestly, playing the misogynist/sexist card in this case is silly.

But with that said, I can start with the actual post.

Most people might have already seen my posts about ep 115 so my general thoughts on Yuamu/her reason to become the main antag should be clear. But seriously, Idk why GR does that with Yuamu. Is this some weird "make up" for doing barely anything with her in season 2 besides making her get possessed by darkness twice? Turning her into the new main antag to give her some relevance? Yuamu as a villain could've worked but I really can't with the execution we got. She says she wants to be the new Otes and save Yuga and his future and I just can't buy it. Also: What would Yuga think of her actions? I doubt he'd be proud of her becoming Otes in his place. Heck, imagine Yuamu at her "villain peak" just for Yuga showing up to tell her to stop and she eventually does? Like we all know Yuga isn't gone from GR for good. He's coming back and at worst, he's gonna bring his Sevens friends. And as a Sevens fan I say to this: This better not happen at all. Also is it just me or I don't get the feeling that Yuamu truly cares for the Darkmen besides Kuyamuya? So if they died to revive the Velgearians, I doubt she would cry for them.

Speaking of the Darkmen: Oh boy, where do I start? They had potential being an interesting group but from the current point, they're just existing besides Fukamura who stayed behind instead of joining Yuamu? Sabyuas went from sadist for "pretty weird reasons" to Zwijo simp, Bruyea is just a walking mama kink and Zeyet shouts "osu" here and now. Oh, and they all lost their duels. The only "Darkmen" winning were Yuamu and Zwijo - who aren't og Darkmen. Heck, even the Goha Siblings felt more threatening as the Darkmen and also showed a more interesting dynamic despite having to share their debut arc with Lukeman who ended up as the "main antag" of said arc. Can I expect anything from Sabyuas, Bruyea and Zeyet for arc 10? I don't know. Also disappointed how there was no good dynamics between Team Yudias vs Team Darkmen. Sabyuas vs Yuhi? Well, nothing besides Sabyuas enjoying the sight of Yuhi needing to piss. Bruyea vs Nyandestar? Bruyea was all about making Nyandestar his new mama even when he lost but when he sees her again, there's zero interest? Fukamura vs Manabu? I still think Fukamura vs Epoch would've made more sense due to them both having shut-in experience and while Manabu respected Fukamura as an opponent, Fukamura didn't show much interest in Manabu. Zeyet vs Yudias was like the only duel where there was hope for friendship but she doesn't really care for Yudias later so...

And besides Yuamu and the Darkmen: This arc was so boring imo? I thought this could be interesting with the search for Yuamu, trying to find a way to revive the Velgearians, Manabu being back as a proper part of the main squad (him being clowned less is like the one big positive point I can say about arc 9)... but instead I get what? CPT who was annoying af and turned out to work for Yuamu from the start? The huge focus on curry bread? Almost half the arc spent on Pawtner for no good reason? Epoch finally leaving her box just to become more like Tiger (looks and breath power) than she initially was? Yudias and co. not reaching Velgear and visiting the Go Rush Yu since all the dead Velgearians are somehow in the Dark Matter Zone to play shield?

Kuaidul being back is also something I'm not sure of. I mean I expected him to return but like *that*?

Now Yuamu is heading towards Earth with most of the Darkmen, Zwijo and Yuhi (to get Monster Reborn?) while we dont know what Yudias, Manabu, Nyandestar and Epoch will do. Likely follow the others but since Yuamu took Valvelgear with her, the only way I can see them leave the Dark Matter Zone is either by making a new space ship out of dark matter or fixing Zaidavelgear.

Since Asaka also seems to prepare Mutsuba Town for a battle, we should get more old characters getting involved again. Man, feeling bad for the UTS 8 when they're gonna see Yuamu acting as a villain but also for Manya (as Yuamu's childhood friend) and Sky (who had so much respect for her). And we can't forget about Yuna since I really believe in her scheming something on her own since Yudias and co. left Earth and it's gonna be Yuga-related. Who knows, she might either bring Yuga back or managed to stay in touch with him somehow.

I know this post is mostly negative thoughts than positive and honestly, I wished I could be more positive about GR - but that show's writing really makes it hard for me.

If anyone still loves Go Rush then cool? But I do hope that even those who love the show can at least admit that it has some flaws. Idk why I have seen people who still want to act like GR is an almost masterpiece.

Only friends Ep 8

Thoughts were all over the place…

Let’s dive in, before I go on these are MY opinions. You’re welcome to come for me or not lol that’s up to you. I simply write my personal thoughts during and after watching the episodes.

I want to start with the mess that is Raymew, but before I hit up on that, cheum baby, let’s talk about you shall we?

Up until this episode I’ve been riding with cheum. I love her, this episode however, I started feeling some type of way towards her. She’s still a very likable character don’t get me wrong but in this specific episode I was not on board with her though i get her pov. that’s the beauty of writing. I feel as though p’jojo had her be the one to go off on ray to let us know that she’s the one who can bring and probably keeps them all together as a friend group. But we might dig into that later. I just personally felt the attack on Ray, after so many times he’s fucked up. Like I said I get her. I see why she’s frustrated, Ray is a mess and that boy needs help, but where will he find it or heal if he gets it from no one? Not his parents, for obvious reasons we already know, not from his friends, we saw it from Mew but only for a brief time and the love Ray has for Mew maybe affected the way Mew cares for Ray now. I’m not defending Ray at all. He’s making endless mistakes and I’m honestly getting so annoyed at him but that’s how unstable people realistically act. They can’t accept or receive help even when it’s given, i.e Sand in Ray’s case. I just thought the both times she blamed Ray for Mew, a grown ass man who’s capable of making his own decisions, for the bad boy choices. I felt like she just wanted to blame Ray due to his obvious constant behavior but Mew is choosing to deal with his pain this way, and again; realistically some people do cope with pain in that way, we see it in Ray all the time. She needs to pull Mew aside and talk to him about why he’s acting out.

Now RayMew. Mew was chill for me but up to this point he’s been making decisions that irk the shit out of me. Like i mentioned in last week’s post, he was getting on my nerves with the way he was acting over Top but I was shut up which I really liked! But this episode i was back to disliking this new version of Mew. It’s good that he’s giving Top the cold shoulder that’s what I support but what I don’t like is that he’s using Ray in this messy ass revenge he’s got going on. Again, not defending Ray cause I know damn well he knows he’s being used. He knows Mew is hurting and is using him as a rebound. I don’t think it’s okay to use anyone in any matter the way Mew is using Ray. For the story, it makes sense and I guess the choices they’re making in the writers room will eventually make sense as we continue watching but for right now I stand by my feelings towards Mew & I don’t like him at all. There’s something very fishy about him. I feel he makes himself seem like this sweet innocent kid but in reality he’s as evil & toxic as his friends. Maybe he’ll grow on me later? Idk I liked him last episode this episode, not so much.

Top & Boston. I’ll do these two in one. Okay, Top is shining now. He’s trying. However, i still don’t feel anything towards his character. The love he has for Mew is clear now, I guess he really is serious about him. It was nice to see him being caring towards him but I’m still eh. Boston on the other hand, im warming up to. He’s funny. He is probably the only character besides Sand that is so real & gives no fucks. He literally is so chill and unbothered by everything. He made me laugh so much this episode and I’m starting to love him cause he never fakes who he is. Boston is Boston and I’m loving him for being himself regardless of anything.

Nick, he really is so lost. My boy is just obsessed. It’s sad in my opinion. I still like him for some reason and I think that reason is because Mark is too adorable to hate. I don’t condone his stalker ass tho lol from the start I’ve said he’s creepy for have gone after Boston the way he did but hey it worked for him. I just want him to move on, tho it’s clear he’s very much in love with Boston and maybe Boston is feeling something towards him as well? I gotta admit that scene of him at the bar was super cute. But they’ll be toxic together given Nick’s spying kink and Boston’s “I can’t stick to just one person” but there’s potential I guess.

I’m very biased I know, Sandray….

Ugh, what to say? Ray is an idiot. Like I said he’s getting on my last nerve. Not only is he all kinds of fucked up but to have the audacity to cock block Sand from moving on is actually gross. The satisfaction I felt when Sand told him he wasn’t his second option and shoved his ass onto that couch?! Ughhh love! I fucking clapped and cheered. That’s what I need from Sand. As much as I love FirstKhao, Sandray is not my go to no more. Sand deserves so much better but he ain’t safe either i have shit for him too! Not him running back to Ray next episode! Face palm! Sand cmon man you’re stronger than that!! I will admit Sand is my favorite character, as if I haven’t mentioned that previously lol but yes I will stick up for him but this episode him going to safe Ray’s ass yet again got screaming at my screen “WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!” And next week’s episode put the cherry on top to my disappointment lol however, despite that whole party interaction, That sandray scene at the very beginning of the episode is also my favorite sandray scene thus far. The smoothness and calmness of it ? Beautiful. First & Khao are so talented. I felt Sand’s pain and First’s pain for sand. I also felt Ray’s disappointment to Sand learning to let him go. The writing in that scene is what i hope to write in the future as a screenwriter. These situations are what inspires me. Big props to P’Jojo for that beautiful scene and the crew for beautifully transferring it on screen.

Little note: sandnick’s friendship needs protection at all costs!

Next week’s promo: im ready for that daddy Dan & Nick dynamic… oh lord! But… Dan seems kind of sus ngl. Boston… back to making bad decisions but that’s what makes him Boston and i can no longer hate him for it lol Top forcing himself back into Mew’s life, yikes. Sandray get away? It’ll end in pain again, i already know it. I’m not getting my hopes up at all fuck that. They can give us hopes and then they just take it away. I also feel it won’t be real? I have a sense that it’s more of a dream sequence? But maybe not. Idk it seems too good to be true, but at least we get the “now that you walked into my life, I’m not letting you go” scene!!! That song they used for them: broke back mountain reference for sure you can’t tell me otherwise. I’m very anxious for next week & i have zero patience.

Girls do you have a dating advice? I'm coming here because I like that this space doesn't cater to overrated stupid gender roles.

I like this guy on my campus and I felt he might too so ended up asking him out for a coffee! He agreed very enthusiastically and chose a lovely café. I felt very comfortable with him but I'm not sure if he considered it a a coffee with a friend. He did share that he's an introvert and he doesn't go out much because he's sober now and that he's shy. He said he wished the coffee meetup was longer he did text me to stay warm and kept the conversation going for a few days after sharing little updates about his day, telling me twice that he really enjoyed talking to me and thought I was smart. Then silence. I reached out, he was very sweet again and we texted briefly. Then silence again for a week.

My question is should I ask him out again or do I wait for him to reciprocate this ? I'm willing to try if it's shyness but I don't want to be the girl that thinks this is something that it isn't. I truly don't mind his shyness but I'm scared he's just being polite and sweet to an acquaintance and that's it.

as an introvert myself who rarely texts back right away, this could just be him being an introvert. After a full day of living in an extrovert ruled world, it can get pretty tiring for us and answering people's texts is sometimes already too much mental work to do even if we really care about the person. also, once we do have free time and time to noone but ourselves, we don't wanna ruin the healing time by making mental space for other humans even if it's just texts, so we'll just tell ourselves "I'll get to that later, I gotta have me time rn". so yeah that could be why there is long pauses in between texting. it's probs not you but him recharging his batteries.

straight men don't tell an acquaintance that they wanted the meetup to be longer and that they enjoyed the talk. bro all my male straight friends are the driest motherfuckers ever despite genuinely caring for our friendship. Most men don't say stuff like that and he's just an acquaintance for now. There's even less reason for him to be that lovey dovey with you other than that he wants to give you romantic hints.

you were strangers (sort of) before you asked him and he agreed enthusiatically. you weren't friends just agreeing on a lil friend date in a local café, you guys were strangers who met up with the goal of getting to know each other better. which also brings me back to point two. he didn't really know you before your meet up, he didn't have any sort of unspoken friendship friendliness rule of "tell your friends you liked the hangout" to follow.

Yes ask him out. we've long stopped waiting for men to make the first move. if you wanna see him again, do it. he'll probably appreciate it because of his shyness.

if it doesn't work out, hell you experienced life and made fucking stories to tell later. you won't die from it and will only come out more mature.

if it works out, congrats you just gave yourself a chance to a (potentially) happy romance. enjoy it.

Sorry if my advice sucked, I think I'm still not back to my full potential. The gang starts out at the end of a very snowy bridge that looks terrifying to cross. As we get halfway across the statue on top of the other side's archway, it turns into a large white dragon. The dragon is starring daggers into Silas and Silas only. It's paying no attention to anyone else. Silas feels this burn in his chest as it continues to stare. The group decides to keep going as Draz and Brandy surround Silas for protection.

Everyone makes it across. When we get across, the dragon turns away, but Silas sees his mother at the top of the hill ahead. She is waving for him to come up. His mother has been dead for a few years. He knows it's not really her.

From when the dragon appeared, he felt something telling him to come to the temple. This isn't the first time something has told him he needs to come there. As they all stand there, Silas suddenly throws up black sludge, and it's coming from his eyes and nose as well.

The group continues on up to the temple. The walk 5 hours in the snow. They're exhausted, especially Silas and Rudolph (who each took a point of exhaustion). They finally reach the temple, and Draz notices a side entrance.

After a bit of sneaking and hearing some voices, we eventually see some younger crew of the berserkers we met earlier on our trip. They are scared of us at first until Silas mentions the name of one of the people they met from their tribe. They relax and after some conversation we bed down for the night in this side room.

Watches happen:

First watch: Draz and van Richten have another wooden stake making practice session. Draz is getting pretty good at it. He tells Draz that he might make a fine monster hunter out of someone in this group, after all. He mentions to Draz that Silas has a lot of knowledge that could fare useful, but Draz needs to share his knew found knowledge of vampire killing with us to truly be useful.

Second watch: Silas and Ezmerelda chat about a few different things. Fashion, what the sun looks like, and how Rudolph thinks something is wrong with Silas ever since he died and came back. Ez is a little sus of him as well. She brings up even how pale Silas is, but he’s just like no I just look like this. (He truly does just look like that lol).

However, he does tell Ez that he has been experiencing strange things, hearing voices, and feeling drawn to the temple since he came back. He doesn’t talk about the deal he made to come back. I think he fully doesn’t understand everything himself. He then tells Ez that if Rudolph has something he wants to know, he's free to ask Silas himself instead of talking about him behind his back. He then let's slip, "I suppose he's probably avoiding me specifically now, though." That gets Ez's attention, and she's like,"I mean, he typically avoids most people, but why you specifically?" Silas then tells Ez about the letter he wrote and about his feelings for Rudolph. Ez is, of course kinda like ummmm what? Ew, why? about it. She even is like, "When has he ever even been nice to you??" Silas not really wanting to get into everything in his head he just says, "I guess I'm just fucked up. Idk." She just tells him to be careful, but she's also kind of sweet about it and tells him if I want to get "brownie points" with him (then proceeds to tell me that vr told her people say that even though he thinks brownies are gross and that she calls it meat pie points instead) that I should use any knowledge I learn about monsters to impress him and get his attention.

Third watch: Brandy and Kasimir. This watch literally had irl me giggling and kicking my feet during the whole thing. Brandy asks Kas if he's ever been in love. He says there was a girl once, so long ago he doesn't remember her name, but they only went on one outing together. He mentions she was a dusk elf, and Brandy says, "Oh, so she must've had your same beautiful skin tone." This, of course, flusters the hell out of him. She proceeds to tell him about the man she loves and was searching for before she ended up in Barovia while looking for him. His name is Samuel, and he's a pirate. We knew about him before, but she tells Kasimir that she loves him, but she's not sure he loves her back. He never truly made time for her and then just disappeared, and that's why she was looking for him. She is trying to figure out if she really is in love or not. It's been so long. She reaches out for Kasimirs hand. It's super cold, so she uses that to get closer to him. She scoots up next to him and asks if he wants to snuggle under her coat with her to keep warm. He is super fucking awkward, but eventually relaxes and lets her put her arm around him and they spend the rest of the watch snuggled up with small talk. It was literally the cutest thing I WANNA SCREAMMM.

The next morning, they prepare to start exploring the temple. Silas and Kasimir both wake up with headaches, Draz and Brandy can't remember anyone's names (this turns into a bit that actually continues to be so funny the rest of the session), Rudolph is seeing weird shit out of the corners of his eyes. Every seems to be affected in different ways. Silas is irritated from the headache and kinda gets snippy and with that and Draz calling him Sally and calling everyone weird names, Rudolph realized the temple is fucking with us.

We proceed on, with Silas’s use of locate object, they begin their search for the suns sword. He gets several pings of potential swords, so they pick a direction and head down some stairs. About halfway down the stairs, a voice tells us to stop, turn away, and leave. We attempt to communicate and reason with them. We can't see him, but we hear a voice coming from a statue up ahead. He tells us his name is Nefron. As we're talking him down, Brandy is sneaking behind the statue to see who's there. He ends up being this tiny creature. We talk him down, but Brandy gets caught sneaking, so he gets mad again. We think we're safe to cross but when we do a fireball gets shot at us. We fight him and some flame skulls for a bit, but Silas is eventually able to talk him into leaving us alone and we stop hurting him.

We move onto another hallway, eventually we come across a door and Draz is able to force it open.... THIS IS WHERE THE FUN STOPS....🙃😩

Silas’s mother is at the door, waving for him to come in. He just screams out loud, "YOU'RE NOT FUCKING REAL, YOU'RE DEAD! STOP IT!" This of course gets everyone's attention and VR just looks at him super concerned.

Silas, Draz, Ez, and Rudolph go into the room, and there are like 3 amber sarcophagi. We aren't really sure what to do, but suddenly, Silas feels incredibly drawn to one of them. He then hears a familiar voice. The same voice that spoke to him that brought him back to life. The same voice that's been in his head a couple of other times as well. He just hears, "TOUCH IT!" Silas freezes. He hears those words again. He doesn’t know what to do. The door slams shut. Splitting off Brandy and Kasimir outside the room. The voice demands Silas do as he's told, that he promised he would do this in turn for being brought back. As Silas has a full-on panic attack and just stands there crying and yelling, everyone in the room starts taking damage. He continues to say he doesn't want to, but eventually, it gets too much. He sees how hurt Rudolph is getting standing right beside him, and he finally gives in and touches it.

Suddenly, this terrifying being shows itself. It's floating over water, and Silas can almost feel himself floating in the water. He tells Silas his name. Sykane, the thing that brought Silas back. The thing Silas is bound to and must do as it says. Sykane explains what Silas must do in return for getting his life back previously. He must destroy Strahd and destroy Vampyr, who gave Strahd his powers. Then, after that, he must release Sykane and allow him to consume all the souls of Barovia whole, which would unmake them and Barovia. Only Silas hears all of this. The others just see a floating image of Sykane.

Silas is devastated. What has he done. He is thinking to himself he should have never agreed to come back. He should have stayed dead. His fear of death was selfish. After all that ends, Silas is returned to full health and apparently feels something different and new inside him. He runs off crying as the door opens......aaaaaaaand that's where the session ended.

Sooooooooooooooo yeeeeeahhhhh......
