I'm seeing more bad takes on twitter and I have to say some people just hate Higgy. Cole has NOT been better with Ben than he would be with Higgy. Just because he's not as good with Higgy as he is with Trevino (and this year the sample size is tiny and when Cole was frankly not good even when Trevino was catching, which everyone ignores.)

The yankees have lost Cole's last two starts, and not just because of offensive struggles. I don't understand why the talking points of Cole's last start is "oh, he didn't have his stuff today but he battled" but a bad start with Higgy is blamed on Higgy being a "bad pitch caller". He's called a no-hitter and a fucking perfect game, I don't think he's the problem.

Cole has looked pissed in his starts with Ben, and sometimes he's pissed at the ump but he's also yelling at Ben in the dugout. And I don't think Ben has paid his dues enough to be yelling back the way he seems to be. Cole is a cy young favorite and Ben has played in what, 40something mlb games? And not for nothing his framing sucks and he has 2 whole rbis he's not a fucking upgrade. Yeah yeah he should get more time to adjust and prove himself but for fuck's sake he's not as good as Higgy let alone better. People need to fucking cool it with the slight ERA difference in Cole's starts with Trevino and Higgy or at least start bringing Ben's into the conversation.

I think the thing that irritates me about Yor is the same thing that irritates me about Demon Slayer's Kanroji. Both of them are "abnormally strong" women, but they are both completely conventionally attractive (but of course with big tits!).
