I randomly remembered that Miku (when she was first introduced) is a canon fan of SAMS in the show (and possibly the other shows, too), so I had this thought of: "Miku is just seeing Eclipse, her lover, getting tortured by the Mimic (during the whole Mimic arc) and she can do nothing but watch." So I made this :3

on a completely separate note; shizun luo binghe with a disciple shen yuan who fell into the abyss??? *thinks about LBH canonically stealing SQQ's corpse for 5 years* he'd hallucinate i think. like, like visual and audial hallucinations.

Keeps thinking he's seeing SQQ in the corner of his eyes, or wandering between the trees, amongst a group of disciples. Thinks he hears him calling for him, but its just the wind or another disciple.

Gets Xiu Ya reforged but patently fucking refuses to make a sword mound. Because his disciple Is Not Dead :))) There was No Body. He's Not Dead. And If You keep Insisting That He Is, He's Gonna Skewer You :). He's holding onto Xiu Ya so he can return his most favored disciple's sword when he returns. It's on his hip right next to Zheng Yang where it's supposed to be.

Also this motherfucker?? does not sleep btw. He has the image of SQQ, wide eyed and hysterical and standing at the mouth of the abyss burned into his fucking eyelids. Can't use the dreamscape to escape it either because he keeps trying to save him and either he does and it's an incredibly cruel trick to wake up to, or he doesn't and he gets his heart broken in several different pieces again.

There is no convincing this man that Shen Qingqiu is dead. Absolutely nothing at all. He is buried so deep in denial that moles would be jealous of how deep he is. He keeps making tea for two in the bamboo house only to remember that it's just him. SQQ's fans are hiding everywhere, little reminders of his presence. He goes to wake up SQQ on the mornings he sleeps in-- only to find the room empty.

I read a ficlet one time about Derek being asexual, and at first I didn’t really agree bc some of the fics that I’ve read have Derek’s wolf instincts screaming at him to mate with Stiles. BUT then I thought what if Derek’s human side is asexual, but his wolf side really, really, REALLY wants him to mate with Stiles? Like his wolf instincts are screaming: Mate! Claim! Stiles! And then his human side just really wants cuddles and to love his boyfriend? And his two sides are constantly at war?

Do you think if the trolls all came back, like everything in the main comic did happen and they were alive again. Do you think Feferi would actually forgive Eridan? Or want to even be his friend after everything? I don't personally like the erisol and fefertasprite interaction…felt rushed…..so I just wanted to know your opinion if things were different! :)

Yeah, I think they would be! Feferi is one of the trolls who takes dying the least badly (relentless optimism) and Eridan does genuinely feel bad, which means a lot when it's Eridan. I think she really is genuine when she says she wants them to be friends and also that she's really not the type of person to hold a grudge, and like... death is SUPER cheap in Homestuck, it's really not the horrific, irredeemable, irreperable damage that it is IRL - and if you're talking about (Feferi) and (Eridan), then they're both dead (and irrelevent) now, so the score is kind of even.

In general, the fandom - I mean, people in general, really - tend to have difficulty divorcing themselves from other people. We tend to assume that the people and characters they like will hold similar opinions to themselves. This is how people who like Karkat and don't like Eridan can mentally gloss over or even block out their clear, close friendship, or how people who dislike Cronus can end up overlooking that Meenah actually takes his opinion seriously and unironically defends his wizard thing. Feferi really isn't mad at Eridan or upset about dying the way we probably would be, because she's friends with the horrorterrors, relentlessly cheerful, comfortable with death in general, and death is also just not really that big of a deal in this setting. "I'm really sorry about that, that was shitty of me" is honestly probably all the apology she needs, especially if they came back to life anyway.

“I am not stupid,” Zhanna muttered, staring bitterly down at the floor. 

Heavy pinched the bridge of his nose, his heart aching. “Sister…please…” 

“We never said you were,” Medic tried to reassure her, keeping his voice even. “All I said was —!”

Zhanna rose up from her seat. “You think I am too stupid for a baby!” She snapped, voice rising. “You think Jane is too stupid! We are not stupid, you are a stupid!” 

“Sister, please!” Heavy pleaded, putting his hand on her arm. Zhanna shook it off of her with a grunt. 

“Nobody called you stupid!” Medic was clearly trying to be reasonable, but his annoyance was obvious. “Don't you understand that all we were asking was that you postpone having children with Jane until the two of you work things out?” 

Zhanna crossed her arms, glaring down at the floor again. “Do not tell me what to do.” 

“Zhanna,” Heavy stood up, placing his hand on Zhanna’s back. “This is because I care for you. I want happiness for you, I want health for you.”

“But…” tears filled Zhanna’s eyes, though she blinked them back. “Jane make me happy. Having children with him would make me happy. You do not like this! Why? Why?” 

Heavy started to speak, but stopped himself. He put his face in his hands, heaving a long sigh. 

“Why?!” Zhanna asked again, voice a little louder than before. 

Heavy finally lifted his head to look at her. “I want the best for you, and he cannot give you the best!” 

“The man practically runs a raccoon farm, Zhanna,” Medic sighed. “You are an adult and we cannot stop you, but…we just want you to reconsider. That’s all.” 

“Reconsider…” Zhanna muttered, tears falling from her eyes. She quickly wiped them away, before looking at the door. “I am leaving.” 

Heavy tried to stop her. “Zhanna…please listen,” but she was already gone. As the door slammed, all he could do was stare at the door for a long moment. 

“That didn’t go…terribly,” Medic managed to say, trying to reassure Heavy. 

Heavy turned to look at him. “Did I do right thing? She is upset…” 

“She’ll be all right,” Medic leaned against Heavy’s shoulder, kissing his cheek. “She’s just acting a bit immature, she’ll be over it.” 

Heavy rubbed his eyes, though he leaned into Medic’s touch. “I hope you are right…I care about her so much. I cannot imagine her as a parent with Soldier, it is so much for me,” 

“I understand,” Medic nodded. “But she’s grown, you cannot stop her from making choices anymore. She’s not a child, Misha. You'll always be her big brother, I know, but you have to let her choose her own path and just be there to support her when she does. Do you understand?” 

“I understand,” Heavy pursed his lips together in thought. “I just…I am worried for her. I want to protect her all the time.” 

Medic nodded, placing his hand on Heavy’s back. “You’ve always protected her, and you’ve done a wonderful job.” 

Heavy smiled a little at that, and he put his arm around Medic. “Thank you, Doktor…I hope I have.”

Will Solace has literally never ever come across as a golden retriever, not once. In fact, he’s literally compared to a cat. The only sunshiny thing about him are his powers and his face, they are misleading because his personality is basically the opposite.

Nico may present himself in a ‘black cat’ kinda way but deep down he’s a softie and the amount of times he thinks super cute, love sick things in tsats is WILD. He reminds me of a drenched rat who likes to curl up on someone’s chest and snooze.

Very assorted - and probably disorganized - thoughts on Akutagawa's immediate reaction on the night Dazai left the pm, since it's taken a pretty delineate shape in my mind for some time now.

I didn't use to have many strong opinions on how Akutagawa acted when Dazai left (although “unknown” uses as a concept of its own. Akutagawa disappearing, and no one knows where he was or what he did– until he comes back, but as a different man). That is up until recently, when I found this fic that described Chuuya storming to Akutagawa's place and all but threatening him to come to work the day after, and for all the days to come– and thus, urged him not kill himself. And I didn't think much about it initially, yet the scene slowly, unconsciously got ingrained in the bsd canon I have in my mind. And although one could fairly think Chuuya was spiraling in his own depressive episode that night, I feel like it's feasible to believe he'd still look out for Akutagawa. Not because Chuuya cared about Akutagawa in particular (at that point of the story, I genuinely think he didn't experience any strong feeling of any kind for Akutagawa, much less had a general good impression of him), but simply because that's what Chuuya does: he looks out for his own. He's perceptive enough to grasp that Akutagawa was but a kid at serious risk in that moment, and he's compassionate enough to go out of his way to help him, even though they barely knew each other, even though Chuuya himself was hurting like crazy that night (and perhaps even because that's simply what he does to cope with great distress and impending grief: keeps himself busy, tries to think of others before himself).

And there was, indeed, a very real chance Akutagawa was going to kill himself that night. Maybe he wouldn't, for Gin; but I'm not even sure. Dazai was the man who told Akutagawa he would have found a reason to live in the mafia, and now he's gone, the man who himself had seemingly become his reason to live; what's left for him in life anymore, what's the point of going on?– is probably what he must have wondered.

In my mind, the Akutagawas only have had two houses since they joined the pm. The first one was a small but comfortable, nice apartment that was assigned to them by the pm right after they joined, their first proper house. The second, a bigger, more comfortable penthouse, they had to move in after Ryuunosuke completely destroyed their first one on the night Dazai left– caught up in that kind of uncontrollable rage that only comes from inhuman pain. That night, Ryuunosuke got home blind and out of reason. He asked Gin to go away, and when she refused to, he pushed her out of the house with his ability, despite having always refrained from touching her with it, despite having always paid careful attention to never use his ability near or on her. And as soon as she was out of range he started destroying everything with and without his ability, until he could see nothing but red, everywhere. And once he destroyed everything, once the only thing left to destroy was himself, he cowered in a dark angle and howled, covered in blood, unable to speak, hideous and inhuman, nothing but a rabid dog. And his scream echoed the one he released the night he met Dazai for the first time; and if that day he had experienced his first emotion, now he was feeling a second new, deeply painful one. Maybe that's when Chuuya had come in, and told him he was not allowed to kill himself; maybe Gin had called Hirotsu, and Hirotsu had called Chuuya, and Chuuya stormed in, and ordered him to come to work tomorrow. Because Chuuya is smart; because he knows that orders are something familiar for Akutagawa, something that can help ground him; because he knows Dazai is not worth killing oneself over. And Akutagawa didn't kill himself that night, and he kept hurting for a long time, but eh. Eventually, he'll be okay.
