The reader is mostly nonverbal - only speaking using short words/sentences - unless they're talking to someone they've grown to really trust, to animals (such as their crow companions), or about animals - which they have learned lots of trivia about. They may also stim - usually by rocking side to side when bored or flapping/clapping their hands when excited. They're happy to receive physical contact but can be overwhelmed by constant loud noise (such as shouting or music.)

😺 Whenever he notices your stims getting worse or more erratic, he holds your hand and allows you to mess with his. He also likes seeing how you would help Nezuko with her hair, using the physical action as another way to use a stim

😺 He is amazing with animals himself, getting along with pretty much every creature he finds. So, when you walked around the Butterfly Mansion with small birds and one of your pets, a Japanese dwarf flying squirrel that you named Kiyoshi, he got along with the cute rodent quick and easily

😺 Whenever you are set to be on a mission with him and the others (Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko), he tries to keep them quieter so you don't get overwhelmed

😺 Sometimes, he enjoys staying awake at night and ask you about some animals that he has either seen around or was wondering about. Such as a Japanese Macaque or a Sika Deer

⚡ He had a hard time understanding you at first. But that was mainly because you rarely spoke and were extremely loving to almost every animal that you guys came across

⚡ I mean, you literally would attract any other Slayer's crow, which made Zenitsu roll his eyes stubbornly. How come you were such an animal magnet while his own crow (or rather sparrow) pecked at him whenever he tried holding him!

⚡ Anyways, he does like seeing how you handle demons, putting your own issues behind just to help out anybody in danger, whether they were children or adults or in between

⚡ Zenitsu may not show it fully, but he does like watching you play with your pet Koi fish when they were swimming around in your/Mitsuri's estate's back pond

⚡ No doubt simps even harder whenever you mess with his hands or wear his haori. He literally stands there with a goofy grin on his face as he giggles at your actions

🐗 Inosuke is a very rambunctious person by nature. And he is surprisingly good around animals, due to growing up alongside them all his childhood

🐗 So, when you came around and seemingly calmed down a boar in front of him, he yelled your name and asked how you knew what they were thinking, in which you laughed and tried explaining to the best of your ability

🐗 He also had great hearing and understanding of body language. So if you were to speak with a lower tone or not be able to finish a sentence, he understands what you want to say without asking you to repeat like others

🐗 Smiling at him also makes him feel good, so whenever you do so if you can't gain the urge to speak to him, his chest puffs out as he goes on a rant of 'of course you smile at the King of the Mountain' and whatnot

🐗 By far the second best with an Autistic reader when it comes to this trio, the way he grew up helps him understand you better than the others easily

Oh yeah no, nothing's wrong or has been wrong, and I've been here the whole time haha!! (though definitely posting WAY less Moriarty the Patriot stuff since that particular hyperfixation has been hibernating a bit lol).

I actually wanted to make a post about this anyway so thank you for the prompt! The way my brain works *gestures to a heaping thrift store clothing bin of assorted undiagnosed neurodivergent traits* makes maintaining friendships very hard for me. I tend to slowly psych myself right out of them. Either I feel so much pressure to maintain constant communication that I run into some kind of executive dysfunction standstill and can't make myself do it, or I worry so much about being too much that I barely talk at all so that I don't become annoying. I find actual conversation (as opposed to just yelling random thoughts from the stage of my blog lmao) very easily becomes overwhelming, and I quickly run out of things to say and become convinced that I am the most boring person in the universe and no one would really be interested in being my friend anyway. Also life is just really damn busy sometimes! Adulting™! @seeingteacupsindragons has been amazing about working with me to figure out what works: for me, a scheduled chat day every week means we have lots to talk about, I have the energy to talk about it all, and I don't freak out about whether I'm communicating too often or too rarely. And it's ended up being one of the most wonderfully enduring and consistent friendships in my life. Marr is an incredible and patient friend and I am so grateful to know hir!

Anyway, thank you for your kind words, and I'm glad you like the blog! I will probably be making some more Moriarty posts now that I've got myself deep in writing another longfic, and then of course once the 2nd part of the manga starts up! 😊

Omg anon, can we be friends? Istg it is sooooo difficult to find Lestappen fics where Carlos is NOT portrayed in a negative light (or at least it used to be that way until like 6 months back; I can't read Lestappen fics anymore bc I had a few too many villian Carlos jumpscares even tho that was the ship that got me into F1 RPF). And I totally get that it is FICTION and why he would fit a lot of times as the bad guy. The problem is sometimes it becomes too apparent in the writing that the hate towards irl Carlos is spilling over onto fictional Carlos. I get writers are humans and biases will always be there, but for me it started to become a trend and I just couldn't keep going with the ship - which is a shame bc it's the biggest ship of F1 by a mile and I loved being part of it for a long time! Like my guy gets enough hate every race weekend, I don't need it in my RPF too lol.

So anywayyy, as anon said, thank you for not making him a bad guy here. I'm so glad I can peacefully read this story without a constant feeling of dread lmao. It's the only Lestappen fic left that I read and enjoy wholeheartedly (there's another WIP too but Carlos IS the villian there too - I'm just very deep into the story to not see it through now, but I admittedly don't enjoy it as much as I did when the fic started getting posted).

also wow, okay, i admit i have not been reading much these past months simply because i‘ve been so caught up in writing myself, and the few fics i have read i either didn‘t take notice or didn‘t have that—but i also do know lestappen fics where carlos is the villain. i think also the incidents of carlos/charles as teammates in 2024 have probably ramped up the whole thing and may well be the reason why carlos is featured as the bad guy in lestappen stories a lot more. there‘s definitely stories where it becomes apparent when the writer doesn‘t like the person they‘re writing and perhaps even included them just to shit on that character through writing. in those cases i myself too just click out of the story if i‘m not vibing with it. i get that that is frustrating tho!

no worries about wotw verse and the rest of yswtt—i have no plans whatsoever to have carlos as the bad guy of any sorts! 😊

actually i just had a little convo with @saviour-of-lord few days ago about how carlos has this bit of protective big brother friendship with max in yswtt that i adore because it took max some time to trust carlos, but that makes it all the more special that they‘re friends and trusting each other! unfortunately there have only been little moments where that shines forth (for example during charles‘ rut chapter, carlos would have absolutely fought charles if it came down to protecting max, even if carlos was friends with charles for longer) but yeah, carlos is definitely not a bad guy at all here <3

Hello, if you are up for it I would love to know more about your headcanons for Rose being autistic. It makes so much sense to me, and I'd like to more 😊

I’d love to talk about my rose hcs :D here’re a few !!! this became a bit all over the place so bare with me lol

(some of you may have seen / seen me talk about these in the past but shhhh I like talking about things over and over - I love her so much it’s insane where do I even begin)

Firstly I think it’s important to note that rose obviously has/would have been autistic her whole life. The way an autistic person who has lived longer than you or I with their autism and autistic traits is going to deal & cope differently, and have more experience with managing/regulating - or at least in my head! We have to look at rose differently because I don’t believe she would experience autism the same way you or I would anymore; nothing is really new to her.

Until she moves in with Blanche, that is!!!!

I think rose, after being in the same spot for so long (st. Olaf) learnt on her own how to manage & cope with being autistic because she had a “life long” routine that never really changed until Charlie died? From the bits she’s shared about her at home life during her marriage it all sounds meticulously planned & never changing, which is one of the many reasons why I hc her being autistic actually. Charlie also seemed to have a similar routinely-ness about him but I don’t know enough to properly headcanon him (although, rose having an autistic partner would have brought her great comfort im sure. The idea sits in the back of my mind - however, I could definitely go on about Blanche & Dorothy being their own kinds of neurodivergent haha)

I think roses most “obvious” autistic trait is how oblivious (?) she can be, and very often is. She has moments where it’s made very clear that rose is not stupid, because she isn’t!!! She’s very clever and it’s crucial that point is underlined often!! She does tend to have things fly over her head, or taken too literally. We know that and it doesn’t need repeating - But another thing that really stands out to me is her lack of filter when speaking!!! This may just me be projecting, but I’ve noticed that most of the time, when she drops some wild out of no where (and sometimes slightly out of character) comeback at one of the girls, it comes out straight and with little thought. Innocently, almost? Like a thought just breached containment, you know 😂. I’ve seen a few autistic people talk about this but it really can be a problem - it’s something I personally struggle with and that has caused very angry fights between friends & family. It’s that, “if you didn’t want my opinion why ask?” thing I guess? But also just speaking your mind. This extends to her interests as well, and often in an “anger” of outbursts we don’t ever expect from her. ie: the scene where Blanche has accidentally given away her teddy bear & rose snaps. It’s a bit jarring the way it comes out of nowhere! But I’ll touch on her interests later.

I don’t think rose overly struggled/struggles with masking, because I don’t believe she’s ever really felt she had to (This adds onto my last point about lacking a filter). She grew up in an environmental where she always very closely related to the people around her, and that had mostly known her for her entire life (that she had grown up with). So I would like to assume that to them, this was just rose. The only rose that they had ever known. Nothing would be out of place to them because what else do they know! So naturally there would be no room for judgement = rose feels no pressure to conform. St. Olaf sounds like my autistic heaven, no wonder rose misses her hometown so bad 😭. Anyway the first time she’d ever get a strange look would’ve definitely been that first moment her & Blanche met. Blanche was a little startled by roses definition of being “a wild woman” and rose seemed completely lost by it - because she had never experienced that before! She even asked, panicked, why Blanche was putting her flyer back up. I could over analyze that scene forever. Dorothy was a separate shock to the system for her but I feel like that’s a whole post on it’s own. I really want to write out my thoughts on Dorothy & Rose warming up to each other one day because it’s not expanded on much :’) they’re soooooooooooo important to me.

Roses main interests also inspired this headcanon. Many autistic people tend to have “weird” or “childish” interests, regardless of age or gender. Lots of autistic people don’t tend to view age and gender the way someone who’s not autistic would - they’re not as concrete & restricting. Rose definitely has interests that would be considered strange for her age! Her protectiveness of her stuffed animals, Disney, even (what I consider to be her special interest) St. Olaf could be considered by some, outside of Dorothy, Blanche and Sophia, kind of odd. I think these things can be seen as less-so because Rose is a woman, which I’m sure would’ve been a lovely thing & saved her many uncomfortable questions.

Rose often self soothes/stims when she’s feeling particularly out of sorts or if she’s run into a slightly uncomfortable situation. One of my favourite examples is that clip where she’s taken two sock puppets & acts them out to be Blanche & Dorothy. Dorothy walks into the kitchen without her noticing &, once rose says something with her sock puppet that she’s not very fond of, hits her over the head (lovingly) with the paper. Rose repeats “bad puppet” to herself & knocks her wrists together. She also turns to the girls (but mostly Dorothy I think?) when she needs to self soothe or regulate. Another example that I think about all the time because I just love the clip so much - that bit where Blanche was on a diet for whatever reason she felt she needed to be & rose had accidentally eaten the food Blanche had prepared beforehand. Blanche explodes & rose immediately goes to hide herself behind Dorothy. Hinting at autistic traits or not, that scene is so damn precious 😭 be still my heart.

You were sitting in Shadowheart's tent, eyes closed, listening to her prayer. Though her Goddess seemed a bit extreme, you felt it was respectful to be calm and quiet during her prayers. As Shadowheart finished her routine, you opened your eyes to observe her gentle features. She was always the most graceful in these moments. Usually, she was a vicious warrior on the field, but in the privacy of her tent, she looked like an angel. Once done, Shadowheart blew out her offering candle and turned to look at you, "Alright, my love, everything is done. Should we head down to the spring nearby and freshen up? Or would you prefer to read for a while?"

You heavily considered both options before choosing the latter; there was still too much warm sun out for you to get cleaned up right this second. As you two chose your material and headed to a small opening nearby camp, you tripped, grabbing Shadowhearts hand to brace yourself. She usually didn't like PDA out in front of your companions as this could symbolize weakness, but she immediately dropped everything to help you. Standing there in shock as she assessed you, you noticed everyone in camp watching. A red blush covered your face. It's not like your relationship was a secret, but you two rarely showed worry or concern in front of others.

After Shadowheart had given the all-clear, you two finished your walk to the clearing. Sighing now that the feeling of all eyes on you had faded, you turned to your partner, "Thank you, but why were you okay with doing all of that?" Shadowheart laughed gently before speaking, "Everyone knows that we are together, plus that elf has been getting some ideas recently from what I have heard, and I needed to stake my claim." You stared at her in shock before laughing gently and kissing her cheek. You two spent the rest of the afternoon reading before cleaning off and heading to bed.

It had been a long day studying; with all the running around and filling out your field guide, you were practically pooped for the time being. In the undercroft, lying on a couch, you heard the door open above. It was probably Sebastion since it was just after his Transfiguration class that you kept your eyes closed and rested. The silence in the room was eery and not typical for the boisterous man. Glassy eyes hover above you as you open an eye to peek up. You giggled and reached out to pat Ominis's head. Pulling back in fright, Ominis quickly caught up with himself.

"My love, you scared me. I thought you were sleeping," You laughed gently, putting his hair back in place. "I was resting. I am exhausted from all the running around today, but I was far from sleep. I still have some things I need to get done." Ominis smiled impishly. You already knew what was coming, "Am I on that list of things you need to do?" You smirked, moving closer to him, ready to complete this battle. "I don't know, Ominis. Can you handle all of this?" gently, you caressed his arm, watching him shudder. Ominis smiled in return and carrressed your face, "I think I can do more than handle my love." As you two moved in to kiss, you heard an obnoxious gaging sound.

"God, could you two get a room that's disgusting." You laughed as Ominis turned to face his best friend. " Sebastion, I am afraid you are the blind one then, friend; as you can see, we were, in fact, in a room alone till you showed up." Laughing harder, looking at Sebastions face, you stood up, helping Ominis as well. "You know Sebastion, if you could just land a girlfriend, you wouldn't be so bothered." Ominis laughed into his sleeve before pulling you into a side hug and kissing your cheek. "She is just bloody brilliant."

Do you respond to comments? I really try to respond to every comment, even if it takes me a while to respond! I genuinely appreciate people who take the time to not only read my writing but also share with me their thoughts, so the least I can do is respond back 😊

What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Oof in general I usually stick to happy endings so there hasn't been a ton of angsty endings! But I once wrote a fic exploring a character navigating the aftermath of the sudden death of his wife. It ends with him bonding with a woman in a bar who had also lost her husband, and they dance together and while it's nice to have some sort of companionship again, there's an unspoken agreement that nothing and no one would ever compare to their late spouses. (Based off the song Ghost of You by 5SOS, specifically the last line!) I don't usually write major character deaths, and I actually ended up taking that one down because it was too sad for me haha.

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? The rest of my fics pretty much all have HEAs because at my core that's what I enjoy most haha. But my favorite and probably fluffiest ending is Fire Red and Ocean Blue.

Do you get hate on fics? I don't remember ever getting any hate! *knock on wood*

Do you write smut? What kind? I do not, but I always enjoy reading a good smut fic!

Do you write crossovers? No, but I love AUs or fics based off of other books/shows/movies!

Have you ever cowritten a fic before? I've attempted to, a loooong time ago when I was first getting into fanfic. Nothing ever came of it though, we were both, like, 12 so it fizzled haha. I have no idea where that person is today but I hope they're doing well!!

What WIP would you like to finish, but doubt you ever will? Back when s1 of Outer Banks came out I started working on a Jiara one night stand fic and got about halfway done. I still think about it often, but too much has happened in s2 and 3 it just wouldn't make sense anymore and I'd basically have to start from scratch.

What's your all-time favorite ship? This is a tough one! My oldest and most beloved ships will always be Romione and Percabeth. But no ship has ever, and may never again, have me in a chokehold quite like Juke did during the height of my JatP hyperfixation. So one of those three! 😂

What are your writing strengths? Ooo I love a good theme or motif or analogy and bringing everything back around full circle. It makes my little perfectionist virgo brain very happy haha.

What are your writing weaknesses? Sometimes I'll rush through the little details just to get to the main plot points. I constantly have to remind myself to slow down, a sort of "stop and smell the roses" if you will, and set the scene or create unique little character details to make my fics more descriptive.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in a another language for a fic? If it's needed it's needed! I usually will copy/paste and look up the translation if I need to.

First fandom you wrote for? Glee haha. I used to be OBSESSED.

Favorite fic you've ever written? I feel like this answer changes depending on my mood haha. Right now I think it'd have to be Been Counting My Blessings Thinking This Through, but that could totally be recency bias haha. I am very proud of it though!

What fic would you want to rewrite someday? I wrote this PJO (Tratie) fic called Rivers about 10 years ago and to this day the idea behind it is probably one of my favorite ideas I've ever had for a fic. It’s December. 🎄 A Report ☆

It's already the last month of 2024! There's not much time left this year, and before we know it, 2025 will be here. Moving too fast, don't you think?

Yesterday, I spent hours doing what I'd usually do on a quiet weekend: resting and catching up with my silly little hobbies. In between, I’d hear the clock ticking and realize how tricky time can be. It always seems to move at the same speed, yet the most important moments feel like they slip away so quickly. Maybe it’s because they’re so precious, or because we know they have to end—it’s that mix of feelings that makes time feel like it’s flying by.

In my last letter, I talked about trying new things, and I’m happy to say I’ve been doing well! 😊 Slowly but surely, and I plan to keep going at this pace next year. Have you picked up any hobbies? How did it feel?

Oh, and my love for my job has also come back (somehow). I thought I was just working for financial stability, but I recently found myself grinning at a finished article like a fool—it reminded me of how far I’ve come, how proud I feel of my work even without external validation. It’s so fulfilling to see your own growth. 🌱

Lately, I’ve been overly critical of my life choices. I keep focusing on the flaws, completely ignoring the good points lighting my way. I hated the way I think. But after some reflection, I realized being chronically online isn’t helping. 🫠 Sometimes, we need to take others' words with a grain of salt—they can be eye-opening but not always for everyone (kind of like what I’m writing, lol). Stubbornly carving my own path feels more like me.

Of course, recognition is important, but there’s something so special about people finding their own reason to work hard, and I’m glad I’ve found mine.

Finally, I got to connect with some of the loveliest people here and there. 💌 I’m so thankful for the few special ones I have in my life right now, but I also want to mention the short chats I had with strangers and acquaintances. We didn’t aim for anything deep, but those little exchanges were so kind, gentle, and encouraging. 💗 I wish I could have told them just how much they brightened my day (I did, but it never feels like enough) and that I truly wish them all the best. From the bottom of my heart, really! You give me so many reasons to wake up excited for another day. 🌞

Things may be different now, but this December has its own magic. A little holiday sadness undeniably creeps in, but I still love the end-of-year atmosphere, after all. To me, it's still there—it's just changed, that's all. One thing that’s making it extra exciting is my upcoming holiday break, haha. It’s not long, but it’s better than nothing! I’m grateful it still brings that special feeling, even as things change. 🍃

Dear you, who's reading this, I know you've been working hard these past months. 😌 So, this December, it's perfectly fine to stay up a little late and enjoy some holiday snacks. Hamon, lechon, lumpiang shanghai, fruit salad, spaghetti, rice cakes... food just makes everything better, doesn’t it? 😋

Of course, you have to exercise to make up for it, but we can worry about that later. 🤭

Let’s enjoy it for now. Plan your late-night snack and be happy for the achievements of others. If it gets overwhelming, take a break from social media and spend more time in your own little world, just enjoying life in your own way. ✨

Snacks aside, don’t forget to take care of yourself, too. Keep it simple—eat good food, sleep well, and take short walks to stay active. Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #144

I didn't get enough sleep last night, so today was kind of weird.

It started out well enough. J and I went over to the house of a friend of ours; she has lilacs over there, and I wanted to try to make syrup this year. So with her permission, we went, and hung out, and I got a bunch of lilac blossoms. I also got a bunch of really good pictures for you - of some lilacs, of some of the scenery as we drove, and whatever else caught my eye:

Here are the darker lilacs at my friend's house; these smell amazing and make for great syrup, but they're not quite ready yet; they need more time to fully open:

Well. But first I have to sing that other song. And I have to finish that kite. And I have to make lilac syrup. And I have to make macaroni and cheese... Goodness, but it all seems so overwhelming sometimes. My brain doesn't prioritize things well. It does it even less well when I'm short on sleep. I had better try to go to bed on time today...

Anyway, so after hanging out with our friend, J and I went to get lunch from a local deli that makes AMAZING subs. And then we ate at a park...

...I made some duck and goose friends while I was there...

...If we had the equivalent of dragons in my world, I think Canada geese like these would be it. Swans, ostriches, cassowaries, emus, and a few others might make the cut simply because of their size, strength and nasty attitude, but... Canada geese are something else.

They don't have the size of those other birds I listed, but they more than make up for it in attitude. Canada geese give absolutely no fucks. They WILL come at you if they don't like you. They'll puff themselves up, hiss, and run at you if they feel disrespected, and they'll act like they can fuck you up, whether or not that's actually true. And... I think that's kind of brave, actually. Or maybe foolish? But either way, they've clearly got dragon souls even if they only have fuzzy small-ish bird bodies, and I like to think that counts for something!

...Brave or foolish... Ya know? I read a quote that goes something like "the line between courage and stupidity is often thin and blurry, and that's why life is hard." I think that's probably true. I wonder what you think...

In any case, some of the Canada geese were frighteningly comfortable with getting close to humans, and... in an act that may be considered brave or foolish (or both), I snapped a couple pictures before nope-ing away, hahaha!

...I wonder if the local humans have been feeding them bread, and so they approached me curiously, expecting food... I hope not, because birds eating bread is a huge problem; it messes up their wings because when they fill up on bread, they don't have room for their real food, and so they develop nutrient deficiencies, which permanently deforms their wings. A lot of people don't know that, though...

In any case, when I finally got home, it was time to soak the lilacs. These ones aren't sprayed with pesticides, so putting them in water encourages the bugs to vacate the premises:

...You can't see the water because lilacs like to float. But it's in there, I promise!

I was going to spend the rest of the day pulling the blossoms from their stems (you can't have the greens when you make the syrup, or else it gets bitter...), but I got distracted with various things. I took a nap with J, and then we woke up and we tried to get some things from the grocery... and then my brain got really weird.

...This is what happens when I am not on top of my hydration and sleep. I end up going to flashbackville, and then I start thinking like I'm some kind of problem. My brain tried its level best to convince me that my whole lilac syrup project is stupid and that going out for lunch is selfish of me, and that J accompanying me and spending time with me is a terrible chore that he only does begrudgingly in order to get me to shut up, and... well. None of that is actually true. It IS how most people have treated me for most of my life, but I don't chill with those kinds of people anymore. It's just that my brain sometimes forgets and then reverts to instinct, especially when my self-care routine isn't tight. And today it is not tight; I am underslept and dehydrated, and these things leave a brain without the necessary resources to function cognitively in an executive state. When the brain does not have the necessary resources to function from an executive state, the brain resorts instead to instinct (ideas, beliefs systems, and skills learned during childhood), and that is a physics and chemistry thing, NOT a willpower thing.

Essentially, I felt really guilty about all the time that J ended up spending with me (even though J had a good time; my brain is just mean to me), and I tried to talk about it to get some reassurance instead of just running with the assumptions, but my delivery was clumsy, and... well. J and I both have trauma, though it's different kinds, and sometimes when we overextend ourselves (like we did today), our triggers bump into each other in ways that aren't very good. We both ended up having adrenaline surges and getting really scared. But we talked it all out (because that is what happens in healthy houses), and that was very good. We're tired, but we're in good spirits; the thing to do from here is to try to be extra kind to ourselves and to each other.

Conflict, when properly wielded, is an opportunity for greater emotional intimacy, and is thus a great way to strengthen the relationship, provided that all involved parties are willing to understand each other and able to adjust their behavior. In healthy houses, conflict is normal and conducted respectfully and in good faith because everyone is different people and not merely extensions of each other's will.

In the end, we got everything we need from the grocery, but I didn't have time to pull out the lilac blossoms from the greens. But that's okay; I'm going to get some sleep so that I can get it done tomorrow, before they wilt; it'll be good!

I'm gonna end today's letter here; I am having a hard time keeping my eyes open.

Oh lord this is a question for me isn't it lol. I can't figure it out sometimes myself. I don't identify with either butch or femme. Definitely not masc. But my ideal self seems to at different times slide along a spectrum between androgynous and feminine, but not to the level of like hyperfeminine. I haven't progressed far enough in my transition to start presenting in a really feminine way. I want to, but my comfort level just hasn't quite risen high enough yet. The closest I get is when wearing lingerie, which is easy because it's private. I do think I pull off androgynous fairly well, especially now having been on hormones for a while. You know, now that I think about it Christen Stewart is actually a pretty good model of what my ideal presentation looks like. Sometimes tomboyish, sometimes a bombshell. Ahhh one day.

9. do you have a "type"? if so, what is it?

Hmm let's see I can name a few: Short stature, short hair, and feisty is one of them. Another is tall(ish) with a sort of mysterious and bewildering quality that entrances me. Another is really tall and built like an amazon but with the gentlest heart. Oh and like, long hair with one side shaved, really striking makeup, and a couple piercings. Wait one more: bookish nerd who acts blasé about everything but hides a secret passion desperately waiting for the opportunity to break free. As you may be able to tell, basically anyone who really stands out from the crowd lol.

More generally, a sincere personality is a top priority. (my "anti-type" is someone who is overly sarcastic about everything to the point where you don't even know if they have a genuine bone in their body.) Someone who is overflowing with compassion and understanding. Someone who is intelligent and has a certain...certainty in what they know. Someone who is very skilled at something. Someone who loves nature.

Someone who can humor my awful jokes (even if they roll their eyes). Someone who can expose me to new things and make me see the world in a different way. Someone who is unafraid to show real interest in me and doesn't make me feel like I have to chase them. A fellow autistic is a huge plus. Someone who will be patient and kind with me when I'm struggling to be a human.

1. What’s your favorite part of the writing process?

I think… the building phase. After the idea strikes, and whatever loose planning takes place, but before the editing begins. It’s funny though because the building phase is probably also my least favourite, too. But there’s just nothing sweeter than a scene coming together, or a plot point resolving. When the pieces floating around in my head suddenly all fit together… it’s the best and makes everything else that’s hard totally worth it. I’m not clever enough for big twisty-turny plots, but sometimes I surprise myself with how well things end up working, and that’s an unbeatable feeling.

3. What’s your favorite emotion to write?

I don’t think I have a favourite, per se. I find emotions I have more experience with easier to write, but I don’t necessarily enjoy writing them more than the ones I kind of have to make up as I go. Though, it is a bit cathartic to work through those kinds of ‘undesirable’ emotions in my writing.

But if i had to choose just one emotion to write for the rest of my life it would be happy. Or like, contentment. Writing and reading, and any media really is escapism for me. I want happy endings, and conflicts resolved, and good guys winning. All the stuff we don’t often get irl lol

18. How often do you forget stuff because “I don’t need to write it down, I’ll remember” syndrome?

LOL! Very often. But I’m getting better! More and more, if I get a stroke of inspiration while out and about, I’ll have the sense to make some notes on my phone at the very least. I’m bot as good about it when I’m home, though, haha. So many good ideas lost to the void that opens up in my brain right before I fall asleep 🙃

Hello and welcome!

A lot happened yesterday in the new Nintendo Direct from many of the big franchises. It had started off weak imo but credit where it's due, got better as things went on! I have much to talk about so let's get on with the show.

𝙋𝙄𝙆𝙈𝙄𝙉 4

The game to kick off this direct. I will admit that it does look visually pretty, and the new pooch is certainly cute! There's chances for a lot of chaotic fun no doubt. I've never tried a Pikmin game before, and whilst it does not interest me enough to say "buy now", I hope people will enjoy this game. We already know a certain blue puppet went crazy over this. 😉 Perhaps I'll take another look when Pikmin 4 goes on sale one day. The game releases on July 21st, 2023.

𝙎𝘼𝙈𝘽𝘼 𝘿𝙀 𝘼𝙈𝙄𝙂𝙊: 𝙋𝘼𝙍𝙏𝙔 𝘾𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙍𝘼𝙇

An unexpected surprise from Sega happened! This will be the first Samba De Amigo game since 23 YEARS AGO (as of Dreamcast release). Dancing games are not really my thing but hey, maybe this one will be unique enough to consider me giving it a shot! It releases sometime this summer.

𝙎𝙋𝙇𝘼𝙏𝙊𝙊𝙉 3: 𝙀𝙓𝙋𝘼𝙉𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝙋𝘼𝙎𝙎

If anything, this announcement was the main course for me! Just...wow. ♡ As someone who started within Splatoon 2, it's going to be so fascinating to explore Inkopolis Plaza for my very first time! Also SQUID SISTER SPLATFESTS ARE BACK! I already know @atlantisportal2 is about to have a nostalgia trip. I'm so freaking excited! 😁 Not only that...but Side Order is looking VERY intriguing for me.

Could this be a corrupt version of what happened if Team Order won Splatoon 2: Final Splatfest? Also Pearl and Marina baby, woohoo! Very glad seeing them back along with what looks to be Agent 8. Also you better believe I purchased it ASAP! With that said, wave 1 is set to release sometime in Spring with wave 2 inkcoming (haha) somewhere on the holidays (according to placeholder dates).

A miracle has happened!! After tragic events with both Level 5 and the original creator years ago, Professor Layton is looking to make a return. I've not played any of these games yet which judging by general buzz, I'm missing out! Hope to see more details soon as they come and maybe look into this considered-to-be underrated series in future. A release date has not been confirmed yet.

GANON IS BACK AND MORE TERRIFYING THAN EVER! With an amazing reveal of more info, this game is shaping up to be something great already. The visuals, music, and maybe even voice acting...it leaves me impressed. The gameplay could even be a step up with new weapon types and tools among other things (we can make our own cars legit now!?) However, it also reminds me that I need to finish BOTW someday. 😅 I'll be sure to look into this game at some point. Sharpen your blade and prepare for adventure on 12th May, 2023...

Okay, i have whole ass theories on this, and a couple of fics/series on the docket to include some Barhoun stuff.

Sometimes... I believe that they dated back in college, somehow became friends, spent lots of time studying, late nights, add in a little bit of booze into the mix and one thing lead to another and they fucked. It was out of sheer convenience that it continued or became something more. like, they were both heavy into school, focusing on future careers and making it in the legal world and a lot of other people may not have understood that and demanded more time/effort into a relationship. Whereas with each other it's just a couple of added little kisses when they greet each other, studying while cuddling and some sex added into what their friendship was prior. And then that's that, they graduate, both start working and out of that little Harvard bubble they kinda realize that they're not relationship material but stay good friends and the occasional fuck buddy. AND, while I fully believe that Lucia and Rita are the BEST of friends and Rita takes her on shopping trips and invites out to the hamptons and they gang up on Raf sometimes in a teasing way only a bestie/gf and a mom can, that Rita's parents *absolutely* would *not* approve of their daughter dating Barba. I canon her parents to not be the best, and obvi they're rich and upper east side kinda ppl. So the scholarship kid from the Bronx isn't going to be good enough, ya know?

Option 2: of them just being besties and not dating through college is kinda they casually date as adults, things don't get too serious because they simply *cannot*. Rita likes to dote on people, she likes to gift, she'll *regularly* come home with presents ranging from Raf's favourite sweet treat from the bodega on the corner to cufflinks from Tiffany's kinda thing. She spoils, a lot. And Raf can't deal with that, because they do come from very different backgrounds and he sees it as both a waste of money and like he's a charity case. Make sense? Like, while they both do have some fancy tastes, he just doesn't always feel like he fits into Rita's world. NOW in this situation (and this is the premise for an upcoming series); there is an easy solution. Raf also feels like he's not that great of a partner because he's always working late, can be standoffish/brash, or not always there. Rita's like, too much for him, so... if you add in a third person to make a throuple/poly, THEN Barhoun works. Poly Barhoun is just the far superior ship, Rita has someone to spoil and fawn over, Raf knows that his (third) partner has someone with them and taking care of them when he ends up sleeping in his office cause a case load is too much.

Now: canon wise, here are my speculations pertaining Barhoun.

s14: we first meet the two of them, they're very obviously still banging. Like, they're almost *too* flirty but trying to cover up the flirty if that makes sense. it's all "ms calhoun" "mr barba" with these little smirks, the "ms calhoun, long time no see" and she returns it with a little nod and a grin like she didn't wake up in his bed that morning. PLEASE. you're fooling NO ONE. potentially also dating at this point.

s15: still casual, still banging with potential dating. rita reps liv & amaro in this season, they clearly can't afford her, so it's obvi a favour for Barba.

s16: they fucking FIGHTING in this season, something went down, rita's willing to let it go but barba's got a stick up his ass and when he doesn't back down, she obvi fights fire with fire. they're at each other's throats in her first ep of the season and still tense in the second (my personal two fave options for this are: barba found out about rita/tucker and is irked she never mentioned it. OR, Rita fucked Liv and barba's livid because rita obvi would know that barba was harboring feelings)

s17: back to being friends, whatever happened, the water's cleared, they're still not perfect, but they're back to the teasing and the little games. s18: similar vibes.

Rita: while she has chemistry with plenty of the SVU characters, and a lot of them seem like they could work with her, there's always an issue that wouldn't make it work long term. The only person I can see her successfully being in a long term relationship with is Casey.

Well FINALLY someone in my inbox that I can scream about 2 Baddies with! Okay so I did not like 2 Baddies at first the song just grated on me but I didn’t go into it very open-minded (because of how much they shit on Sticker) on the other hand I showed the MV to my nephew and the moment it ended he said “I LOVE IT” and I was like of course you do lol

But I really liked the MV and the whole vibe (plus I looooove how much spotlight Johnny and Yuta got!!) so I watched it more and more... and I hate to say it... but the song has grown on me. It’s just so 127. I felt the same way about Sticker which is it just screams NCT 127 and their style.

Which is why I just didn’t understand why they acted like Sticker was the bane of their existence? Then Favorite came along and they acted like she was their savior (looking at you Doyoung) when Favorite was super boring imho I still like it and listen to it but it was meh in comparison and the dance break still haunts me haha

Speaking of Doyoung and his obnoxious ass I wanna know who he thinks he is being built the way he is. And I agree with you I’m ready to fight the stylists with all these tiddies being shoved in my face. Some of the boys looked scrumptious in the MV even though they singing about having bitches when we all know they don’t 😂

Doyoung sings like his life depends on it and I love that. He reminds me of me and my sister whenever we listen to Celine Dion after too much wine lol I swear his energy when he sings and Taeyong’s energy when he dances are just on another level. I’m slightly annoyed they have Jaehyun rapping since he’s one of my FAVE vocals in NCT but I like his rapping too so I’m not that mad about it

Oof speaking of Mark, I got a really sexy fic coming up with him soon (Jeno included) so all you Mark and Jeno stans need to prepare yourselves physically and emotionally and sexually and spiritually idk just everything because it’s raunchy af (you’re married to Mark and he invites Jeno over to spice up the bedroom when yall hit a dry spell that’s all I will say about it)

10. Gojo Satoru - Jujutsu Kaisen

I love his confidence because he knows he is the strongest. I like how complex he is. Sometimes overfriendly, sometimes savage as fvck. I guess I do like him the most when he is fighting. I know how overpowered it may look like but I'm still at awe how strong he is

9. L - Death Note

His intelligence. I think that's a given 😆. I just love how his mind works.

8. Sesshoumaru - Inuyasha

He is my childhood crush haha. I love how tsundere he is and his ethereal look.

7. Ivan Mariani - The Devil's Temptation

Another one from the BL world. Guess I have a thing for tall, dark and handsome haha 😝. I also love how hilarious he is. He is a riot with Hen (Hyun Lee). I suppose I really love those funny characters who loves deeply. hehe I love him because of how whipped he is for Hyun. You see, they started as enemies, always teasing each other but when they began dating, he treats Hyun as the most precious baby he is.

6. Sentaro Kawabuchi - Kids on the Slope

If you have not heard of this anime, better give it a go. The thing that got me to like him is his drumming skills. The animation really did justice to his parts of killing those drums.

5. Levi Ackerman

Because he is a badass when it comes to fighting 👌🏻💪🏻. And he's so charming when he shows how he cares for Eren and the gang. Though not so obvious at times, hehe.

4. Hua Cheng - Heaven Official's Blessing

Waiting for your beloved for 800 years. Protecting him even he doesn't know it. How could I not like this man? I just recently finished the novel and damn, it hit me like a storm. Surge of emotions. Aside from he's good-looking, I just really love his devotion for Xie Lian. Loyalty award goes to him.

3. Cain - Dear Door

He is a damn walking green flag!!!! If we're only talking about the manhua and/or BL world, he is easily my Top 1. Just thinking of him makes me tear up a bit. Because why such a man is only fictional. waaahh! 😫🥺 But for real, I love how goofy he is. How he fool's around with Kyungjoon but also knows how to be serious at certain situations. Him being protective of Kyungjoon is really a good example of how you don't want to lose the one you love over someone/something. It doesn't feel he is overbearing and being toxic. And one more thing, I like his built and package haha. Well, who doesn't right? 😏

2. Gintoki Sakata - GinTama

Ohhhhhh of course I'm not only for romcom hahaha. I actually felt bad that he's my number 2 hehe. But overall, I like him for being one of the baddest samurai out there. I love how funny and hilarious he is. And mostly, I love how he is so caring with Kagura and Shinpachi.

1. Kazehaya Shouta - Kimi ni Todoke

Out of all the shoujo I've read and watched, he's the closest to reality of how a man should be (at least for me hehehe). Whenever I'm asked about my top 1, Kazehaya will be the first one on my mind. He really made an impression on me. I really like his character, he's not like other's who is super tsundere or will walk away at the first sign of jealousy. I love that part in the anime wherein he saw Sawako and Ryu talking with each other and there's Kurumi, getting him riled up and get mad at Swako and Ryu. Instead of being violent or being overly jealous, he run towards Sawako and took her away. Such a man! 😊
