If you guys are heavy into the tgcf or mdzs fandom than you’ll know exactly who this author, Evie, is. She wrote NPAB and The Soul Remains, along with a bunch of other beautiful fics. BUT MY GOD THIS ONE!!! I never see anyone talk about Post Mortem and I will proudly say this is my fav Wangxian fic, and one of my favorite fics period. The story is wonderful, characters r well written, beautifully paced, plot is to die for(lol). She’s an amazing author all in all so check her work out if you haven’t!!

Or something like that' because I HAVE gone through every taylor swift song on evermore and folklore and compared it to skk. Sorry to be autistic on the writing account, but this is a fanfic writing account and I'm writing my second novel length fic about them so what did you expect.

folklore/evermore are very canon skk, and verge into fanon and some songs are the reason for very specific head canons, or some of the ways I write the way they perceive each other. 1989... DON'T GET ME STARTED OMFG HAVE YOU EVER LISTENED TO BLANK SPACE? I THINK IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO NOT HAVE AND OMG IT'S SO SKK CODED LIKE WTF. I HAVE VERY FIRM OPINIONS ABOUT WHICH LYRICS ARE THEIRS. Also the vault tracks literally exist what more do you want from me. 'i think about jumping off of very tall somethings just to see you come running and say the one thing I've been wanting' okay dazai pack it up you did that already, beast exists. 'i call my mom sister she said that it was for the best remind myself the more i gave you'd want me less' yeah yeah chuuya we know he left you get over it, it wasn't personal(think that line could go for either of them but the other line 'the way you faded till i left' feels more Dazai personally). Plus suburban legends. For personal reasons I struggle to listen to song without SPIRALING FUCK YOU THAT ONE PERSON SEHDHSSJNS but very skk as well 'we were born to be national treasures' is very soulmates of them. And out of the woods screams them in fanfic when they try to get better. Red, straight away all too well. They both remember it all too well. All too well skk cover with switching vocals anyone? The last time. The one with gary lightbody. Underrated song, is my favourite on that album, and SO THEM. 'this is the last time you tell me ive got it wrong, this is the last time i wont hurt you anymore' because they're fated to be together and are constantly drawn to each other and yet keep HURTING EACH OTHER RAGH. also 'we are never getting back together' is pretty funny and nice when applied to them. also state of grace. any taylor song with a mild drop of religious imagery is them cause yeah. but 'i never saw you coming, and I'll never be the same'... okay pack it up, we don't have time for your yearning. 'you were never a saint' (dazai abt chuuya) 'and i loved in shades of wrong' (bc hes toxic and doesnt know how to healthily like people) 'we learned to live with the pain, mosaic broken hearts' (bc they continue anyway and stick it out, living with the pain of being bad for each other because of how deeply they care). I almost do. Dazai after leaving. moving on to more religion, holy ground. 'for the first time i had something to lose' 'and i guess we fell apart in the usual way, and the storys got dust on every page' AAAAAA IT'S THEM. Can't really speak on debut- but I've listened to our song and picture to burn and if picture to burn isn't a vengeful chuuya idk what is. BOY OH BOY SPEAK NOW.

speak now- might just be me but it really makes me think of teen skk in fanfic harbouring urges to ruin the others relationship for 'some reason. I don't know, seeing him with her just... irks me'.

the story of us- first verse is chuuya, second verse is dazai, and the third is them both because they're LOSERS and they LOVE EACH OTHER and FUCK I'm CRYING NOW. 'id tell you i miss you but i don't know how' EMOTIONALLY CONSTIPATED BASTARD.

enchanted- self explanatory. for more context, i really think it's from dazai's pov in this case, could probably be both, but dazai fell first and harder so it's really like god he's been in love ever since he got kicked into that wall he wants him around forever. He held Chuuya's hand in the fight with rimbaud and then had all those close moments in the manga and went home to lie on his bed kicking his feet and giggling don't lie. (god im still crying this isn't helping)

better than revenge- they're both pretty vengeful idk it makes me think of iwsynttr for some reason

I thought i knew you. How do i forget this'. 'wont finish what you started' bringing chuuya into the mafia then leaving it.

i think the most kudosed skk fic on ao3 so not very. underground indie. JDHSJ the writing style isn’t my favourite but the plot is really good and the characterisation. oh my ever loving fuck THE CHARACTERISATION!!! strong nsfw that i’m like 99% sure is quite crucial to the plot though so i’d maybe skip this if ur not comfortable with that!! (the first 6 ish chapters should be mainly fine though for that if ur just wanting smn small and funny)

2. waiting room by srxlee - sskk

HEKANDHWKS i would die for this fic. it’s absolutely amazingly written like genuinely there are like 6 chapters where my mouth was agape the whole time purely bc of the writing style. the plot is really interesting, and the author deals with illness very very well. it DOES have a happy ending im so proud to announce and it’s overall very very sweet and i love it please read it i beg KDHSJ

3. learn to love by thebackwardsstep - skk

i physically could not tell u a thing about this fic, i read it when i was suffering with the flu BUT from what i do remember it was surprisingly sweet and the main ending conflict is resolved by a bird so JDHAKSH also also also in spite of its name it only has like 2 nsfw scenes in it which are VERY easily skippable and also a scene where dazai dresses up as a girl and they go to a ball :D

4. debatable society by chlovrs - sskk

THIS IS SO CUTE. it’s been a while since i’ve read it but from what i can remember the plot is rlly cute, and sskk’s dynamic is really sweet. the author is also the absolute sweetest person ever and i highly highly recommend leaving a comment or two bc they’re genuinely soso sweet and Will respond KDHAKSH (there IS one nsfw scene but again, very easy to skip and doesn’t affect the plot by any means)

holy ever loving FUCK THIS FIC IS AMAZING. i remember the first thought i had while reading it was “this authors read the irl authors books.” LIKE IT SHOWS SO MCUHF WJDKDH i think my favourite example of this was in i think the first or second chapter when dazai plays the synonym/antonym game from no longer human it’s genuinely really really sick. as well as that the author will occasionally sprinkle in quotes from books and poems and it’s just. very very very cool. the characterisation is phenomenal its so well written very highly recommend !!!

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to Confessions Gone Awry!! 🥳

This was the first fic I ever posted on ao3 for the sake of writing a fic on ao3, before that I had only ever posted because my irl friends were begging to find a fanfic I had mentioned I had written

Confessions Gone Awry was also my most popular and one of my longest fics for a good stretch of time (until I uh- dropped a 20k word Christmas fic 3 days after Christmas that is now my most popular fic even though it was only up for like a month holy shit y'all are insane for SKK in America, and now ...But It Is Gay If We're In Japan has also beaten Confessions in kudos count and that's barely been out for two weeks wkdnsksj) and I count it as the reason why I'm still writing fanfic today, I wouldn't have gotten the idea for my Stronger Than Magic AU without it, and that's a solid chunk of my works on ao3 😂

When Peter and Tony announced on their website that they would make a video where they do each others’ makeup, the fans thought very quickly that Peter would be nailing Tony’s makeup, while Tony would fail with doing the same to Peter. And to everyones surprise, it was the other way.

Tony has been in a makeup chair quite a few times during his life. But, mostly he has been doing it himself, and especially during the first few years of building his DDLB website. Before shoots, he would do his own makeup, and got better and better each time. It’s not a flashy look, but mostly it involves evening out the skin with concealer and foundation, removing shine with powder and defining his natural contours with just a bit of tan powder. Lately, he has also been more mindful with his brows and filled them in for a more defined look. He has always been using chapstick, but now he also uses a clear lipgloss, since it is much more effective at hydrating.

So, Tony gives Peter the same treatment and makes him look very handsome and camera ready, which he has done a few times already before shoots and filming before they hired a makeup artist for the shoots. Peter is a giggly mess throughout, and keeps saying that everything tickles, much to Tony’s frustration. Tony has to sensor out his cursing during editing before uploading the video to their Youtube channel as well.

And then, it is Peter’s turn to do Tony’s makeup, and Daddy is actually scared and regrets giving Peter some very pigmented eyeshadow palettes to play with as well. Bright blues, pinks and yellows start flying almost as soon as Tony lets Peter go loose. At the end of the video, Tony resembles a clown more than anything, and that’s both literally and metaphorically.

You initially met Atsushi on your way into class. He held the door open for you as you walked into the lecture hall and he decided to just plop right next to your seat afterwards. Honestly, he just seemed like your run-of-the-mill kind of guy. He offered to help you during class and wrote little notes and doodles on your notes further into the year.

Akutagawa was the one guy you were assigned to be partners with during a work study. He’s definitely the harder one to get along with. But you got used to the way he worked eventually and he slowly adapted to your schedule. Akutagawa gets you coffee or tea in the mornings after he can tell you pulled a late nighter.

Honestly the two of them didn’t even realize they were fighting over you in the first place. The first time they found out you knew both of them was when Akutagawa passed by you and Atsushi in the dining hall. He had to stop before turning the corner because he was just so stunned that that silly Weretiger had gotten to you first.

You just happened to catch him out of the corner of your eye and invited him over to sit. Of course, how were you supposed to know that the two of them had a notorious history of not being able to get along?

Atsushi can tell instantly that Akutagawa is most definitely using you to his advantage. Of course he is! Why else would Akutagawa of all people approach you and be nice to you?

You’re quick to clear up the misunderstanding but it just causes an entirely new problem: They both refuse to leave you alone with the other now.

From the outside, it seems like a cute little trio friend group but you’re smack in the middle of a tug of war and neither boy is able to let go. Atsushi always offers to carry your bags and walk you back to your place. Akutagawa commonly brings you food and drinks as well as offering to buy you whatever you need.

They’ll be the image of perfection and getting along in front of you but behind you’re back they’re quite literally at each others’ throats. They’re kicking each other with jealousy and fire raging in each other’s eyes. It’s almost amusing to anyone else that notices.

“Don’t look at them like that,” Atsushi hisses through an agitated smile.

“Says you. I wouldn’t need to if you were not here,” Akutagawa refutes, entirely unamused with his competitor.

Though, there are moments when you’re with the two of them and neither seem to know how to react. Like the times when you’re studying in the library with them. It’s quiet and they seem sleepy from the late night you all had previously due to finals week.

Atsushi stretches, leaning back in his chair as he shuts his textbook with a low thud. Akutagawa sends him a curt look but says nothing, going back to fidgeting with his pencil as he skims his notes. In the middle sits you and as they both glance to you, they’re surprised to see you sleeping soundly on your books.

The two of them quickly become quiet as mice. Atsushi is quick to check the time, noting it to be about time to get going anyways. He’s tempted to wake you but it seems Akutagawa already has a better idea. The younger man frowns as Akutagawa wraps an arm around your waist and carries you up into his arms. “What are you doing?”

“I’m bringing them back to their place,” Akutagawa explains, eyebrows creasing when Atsushi picks up all of your things. “I can carry those.”

“You? While you’re carrying them? No, I can do it. Plus I have to go with you anyways,” he insists.

“You will do no such-“ Akutagawa pauses, realizing that one: he’s in a library and two: you’re asleep in his arms. Atsushi seems to realize the same as he merely sighs and beckons his partner in crime to follow him out the doors.

For now, they’ve appeared to come to a truce that having you pick both of them as your friends is better than forcing you to pick one as your lover.

But when the time does come: Who will you be picking?

Shifter AU - apologies if this turns out long I was thinking about this in the shower this morning because your verses live in my head rent free okay.

But love the idea of Pierre not being able to shift EXCEPT he actually can he’s just ashamed/embarrassed by his form because it’s not as cute, fluffy, cuddly etc as everybody else’s so he just lies that he can’t shift because he doesn’t want to be shunned or rejected by all his buddies.

Options are Hedgehog (thinks he’s too prickly) or White Ball Python (not cute or cuddly).

Whenever he needs or wants to shift he hides himself in somebody’s garage or driver room (never his own cause people might know it’s him if they find him). Little hedgehog Pierre curls in a little ball or python tucks himself in a warm corner and makes himself as smol boi as possible.

But then one day Charles finds him in a corner of the Ferrari garage and scoops him up (panic Pierre) and is going to everyone about this cute hedgehog or beautiful snake he’s found and Pierre is just like 🥺🥺 and he’s eventually brave enough to be like “oh hi it’s me 👉👈”

Fox Charles would lie on the floor with Python Pierre and just mlem back at him over and over and be obsessed. And who doesn’t love a lil hedgehog.

"One tall iced hot chocolate for Kyouka!" A short girl presents her receipt before Dazai pushes the warm cup towards her.

"Thank you, Dazai-san." She nods as she took the cup before dashing outside to be with some silver haired boy-he thinks they're dating, Dazai chuckles to himself—too bad for Lucy-chan then~

"Oi, Dazai-kun." His ever-so youthful fellow barista calls him, his name was Ranpo. He usually works on the counter because he doesn't want to make drinks–except for teas and espressos. (Ranpo-san just loves pranking the cafe's regular customer–the all-nighter writer, Edgar-san by putting more than just a shot of espresso in his coffee)

Ranpo gives him a cup, Dazai reads the markings on the cup.

"One regular Americano for Akutagawa.." the name rang a bell in Dazai's head.

That means he's coming, Dazai couldn't contain the smile that crept on his face- which Lucy (a high schooler who part-times in the café and has huge crush on the silver haired boy who walked with Kyouka-chan, his name was Atsushi, if he remembers correctly) found creepy.

Dazai hums a tune while brewing the drink-he was feeling great, he was going to see that one person he wants to see every, single day.

The café door swings open, hitting the tiny bell on top, and there he was.

"Dazai-san–" Lucy, who just came in a few minutes ago, was told by Dazai to prepare the drink because of unspoken reasons. So, the poor girl had to finish the coffee and give it to the shady-emo boy who seemed disappointed that Dazai wasn't the one preparing his coffee. Dazai was now at the counter, eagerly waiting for him to approach the counter.

The man was shorter than him, but he had some features that made Dazai–so obsessed– have, what people call crushes.

Like his eyes, he has a pair of beautiful blue eyes which makes him sigh every, single time. His hair was auburn-like or it might be a shade close to orange, but Dazai found it very amusing on how he varies the style of his hair.

And most of all, he loves his name–Chuuya. It just slips perfectly right out of his lips as if he was destined to say it.

Today he was wearing a hat, and his hair swept in one side. God, he looks gorgeous. Dazai keeps the comment to himself as he stifles the huge ass grin on his face.

Chuuya approaches the counter and he looks like he needs a massage the night later.

"Can I take your order?" Dazai asks, pulling out his marker from out of nowhere.

"Yeah," he groans– Chuuya's expression is the exact same expression of Lucy screwing up and failing miserably when she tried to ask out Atsushi for lunch.

Lucy called it the "please-kill-me-right-now-i-screwed-up-bIG-TIME"

"Just give me a regular latte, and a cookie." Chuuya sighs as he pulls out a bill from his pocket.

"You look as short as ever, Chuuya-san." Chuuya choked as he crumpled the bill.

"Repeat that for me, will you?" He grits and Dazai grins.

"I said Chuuya-san is really tiny, like a little kid!" He beams and Chuuya groans out in frustration.

"Screw it, just get me my order." He massaged his temples as he hands the crumpled bill, Dazai hands his change and reciept and Chuuya walks to the claiming counter.

Dazai hums as he makes his order-he warms up the pastry, he perfectly make Chuuya's latte as perfect as possible.

The brown haired barista sighs as he places the cookie in a small paper bag and Chuuya's warm latte in his cup.

"Hey Lucy," the girl groans as Dazai call her.

"I got it, Dazai-san." She takes the cup and the plastic from him and Dazai smiles.

"One regular latte for Chuuya."  Chuuya shows his receipt and Lucy hands him the latte. "Here's your cookie." She lets out a small smile.

"Thanks," he reads the name tag. "Thanks, Lucy."

"Your welcome, sir."

Chuuya leaves the cafe and realized that aside from the initials for his order, he found a message on his cup.

I don't know why you look so tired but for some reason you still look amazing~ Enjoy the coffee, Chuuya Chuuya blushed, now cautiously holding the cup. He takes a sip, and sighs in content. "Not bad, Dazai." He takes another sip. "Not bad."
