I LOVE THE HAWTHORNE BROTHERS SM. so first you have the yeehaw cowboy dude with the hat and the texas drawl, then you have the arrogant heir apparent who's really just depressed and wants to be loved, then you have the wild card sensation seeker who really doesn't know when to quit, and lastly, you have the best hawthorne brother of the four: the genius scientist/engineer who more often than not has only one lone eyebrow and loves blueberry scones a bit too much. avery kylie grambs is one lucky girl <3

Since it's been like... two months since I first mentioned and came up with my new story idea, and I've finally designed the main cast of characters, I think its time for a introduction to the story and characters!!!

A few facts about the story in general before I start introducing all the characters. This is a fantasy story and has magic, monsters/creatures, and various other fantasy things. (I guess thats knly one fact but...) Now to the characters!!

Do you all remember this baby?

Her name is Kiara <3

She's the main character of this story! (Also, my placeholder name for this story is Magic and Curses). The story starts with Kiara getting ready to go out and sneak out of her house. Her mother had been cursed by a sentient sword for years at this point. Kiara was only 4 when this happened. Now (12 year old) she has decided to fix things herself. She packs all the necessities she needs (food, water, her bow and arrows, etc), and heads out to find the legendary heroes she's read so much about. Theu had already tried to destroy the sword once, and failed. Thays how Kiara's mom got curses in the first place. But Kiara is confident they can help her destroy the sword once and for all! But just to be safe, when she finds them she keeps the fact that its her mom thats cursed a secret.

This is Lucien, Kiara's mom <3 The sword has taken most control over her body, but if she tries hard enough she can make small expressions and say a few words. She wanders around her house, as the sword summons monsters around the world. Her husband follows her around, making sure she doesn't hurt anyone and doesn't get hurt herself. He's like a kight, by her side no matter what. Although Lucien doesn't have much control over her body, she tries her best to still show affection to Kiara. Her husband has to take care of Kiara alone, but Lucien still makes sure Kiara stays happy.

Now, onto the heroes that Kiara has read A Lot about!

This is Amell!! He's the leader of the group and is (almost) always wearing a smile c: He is very loud and energetic, and tries his best to lead his group. He specializes in sword fighting, and has learned dofferent techniques in order to keep his enemy on their toes.

This is Terra <3 They are the healer and cook for the group. They often get irritated by the groups antics, but can't help but laugh at how ridiculous they all get. Although many see them as weak, they have learned much about knife fighting, and know exactly where to strike someone to get them down due to them knowing the human body very well :)

This is Mia <3 (She and Terra are siblings!). Mia is the stratigest in the group. She comes up with all their plans and order people around the battle feild during fights. She also knows martial arts and can fight with the group of needs be. She has a strong sense of humor and likes to tease her friends. Whenever the group is down, she gets them smiling and confident again.

This is Percy! He's a mage that uses support magic, mainly using and manipulating sheilds to protect the group and reflect attacks. He can't fight all that much, but has learned some martial arts from Mia. He's a book worm and knows much about different types of magic, creatures and monsters the group encounters, and the history of magic. He usually wears a straight/serious face, but can get flustered fairly easily. He typically keeps to himself, but around his friends he relaxes more and is himself a bit more.

This is Cyra <3 She used to be a blacksmith before Amell and the rest lf the group met her. She got along very quickly with them and decided to work with them. She knows a lot about different types lf weapons and knows how to use a lot of them effectivly. Although she typically carries a short sword and uses that as her main weapon, and she likes to hit hard. Cyra loves to joke around and keep thongs light harded. She is usually found joking around or talking with other members of the group, always wearing a smile.

Thats all the members of the hero group! And now, I have a spoiler character! But I love him so I'm going to yap about him <3

This is Nyx! He is a being made of pure magic. He has been alive since the beginning of time, and has been protecting the world ever since then. It just so happens that he got cursed and forced to reside in a dimond shaped ruby, that Kiara found and picked up in hopes that she could use it to help her mom. Kiara was about 7 or 8 when this happened, and it also cursed Kiara. Now Nyx and Kiara's souls are linked, and Nyx and agreed to help and protect Kiara. He doesn't show himself to the hero group untill much later in the story, but he can preform magic through the crystal to help Kiara out. He's a pretty silly guy, and loves learning new things about the world. But he takes his job of protecting the world Very seriously.

Yay!!!! Thats everybody so far <3 That wasn't as long as I thought it was going to be, but I hope you enjoyed this introduction to the story <3

listen there really was just something about how in the book, snow’s 3-page descent from hesitant lover boy to deluded mfer happens entirely in his mind. lucy gray gives him no indication whatsoever that she suspects him, that she’s going to leave or betray him. he’s just sitting quietly in the cabin waiting for her to return when that seed of calculated suspicion, which he has needed to survive the capitol, takes a hold of him and chokes the life out of any goodness left inside him. it really drives home your terror as a reader that “oh my god did he kill her? did she escape? what happened to her? why would he even think that?” in a way that when the movie had to adjust for visualization it lost some of that holy shit this guy has lost it emphasis.

well, I can't say I expected the new chapter to feature Idia (metaphorically) going to (metaphorical) hell, getting a pep talk from his (metaphorical) Phantom brother which helps him finally move on once and for all from his brother's death, and (metaphorically) overblotting again to fight his way back out of (metaphorical) hell, only to have his darkest fear (non-metaphorically) come true when his mom goes through his computer and finds all his secret files. but I am glad it did!

also this is all a flashback for the purpose of explaining to our group what the heck is going on (whether or not any of it is getting through is another matter)
