I was at the Will Wood show last night!!! Have some highlights:
1. Will Wood and I awkwardly shuffled past each other TWICE. (Don’t worry, I said hi, I didn’t just stare.)
2. Someone’s phone went off and Will asked to talk to the person on the phone. Turns out it was an alarm set for “Clowning Hours.”
3. He played Cicada Days!!! I almost cried.
4. Everyone was so nice and respectful of him. Nobody was shouting at him, or interrupting. We all sang along but it was quiet enough to hear him.
5. My mom got to talk to Shayfer about how much she loves his music. (Even though it was the first time she had heard him lol)
6. He opened with Main Character, one of my favorites.
7. The opening act was a really sweet guy; he sang some original songs that made me want to cry. :(
Overall it was the best show I’ve ever been to. I met some of the nicest people and got to see an amazing show about love, death, pants, and timeshares. 10/10
#also shout out to the two guys in the merch line who said they loved my makeup#and to everyone else who complimented my outfit#I was worried that there would be some rude people in the show#cause you know#it’s North Carolina#but I was pleasantly surprised#will wood and the tapeworms#will wood
