one thing that mitoru and miji have in common is that we ALWAYS wash up together. i mean like brushing our teeth and doing our skincare yk? we always stand there together, sometimes in silence if we're tired and sometimes we're still babbling on about our days, but the important part is that we're doing it together. both toji and satoru get soooooooooooooooooooo extra clingy when they're sleepy like ooh my godd we're literally glued together lmao i love it

because satoru and i are both a bit bad with remembering to eat, one of our rituals is literally just eating dinner together!!!!!!!! sounds very.. simple very basic but it's incredibly important to us!!!!!! on one hand it's just that we want to make sure the other has eaten but then it's also just about sitting with each other you know?

with toji we always watch at least a few eps of whatever kind of show we've picked out!!!!!!!!!!!! sometimes when we're a bit more tired or just not feeling like it, we just watch one and then do something else but most of the time we sit there on the couch all cuddled up, acting like a couple of detectives as we make fun of the characters on the screen<3333333333

everyone was chilling in the garden at changbin’s parents’ house, the man himself frying the meat along with minho’s help. hyunjin and jeongin are playing a volleyball match against felix and chan. seungmin is mere moments from falling asleep next to han, who’s sipping on his iced tea.

han let out yet another dramatic sigh, about 10th in the period of one hour time. seungmin grunted, still sadly awake.

“we know you miss y/n, get over it. it’s not like you broke up” he snarled, putting a pillow over his head.

you’re away just on a trip with your friends. it’s just a three day trip to just another city. just without him and just to have some fun.

but god, he misses you so much. the house feels empty, there’s no sound of your sweet honey-alike laughter. your shoes and clothes are in one place, not messily thrown all around like always. when he comes home the silence greets him pathetically while his heart aches because of the lack of his welcome kiss. he’s basically sleepless, unable to rest without you next to him.

phone calls and video chats aren’t enough, han thinks he’ll explode and go berserk if he doesn’t hug you any time soon.

“ta–da! the meat is done! i’ll go grab some kimchi from kitchen” changbin’s excited yelp makes han snap back into reality.

you’d love it here. you’d love the food, the vibe. he could picture you playing volleyball with the guys, whining that they’re cheating and eventually falling asleep between him and seungmin. only after helping to prepare the meal though…

“–han? oh my god. we lost him, guys” felix chuckled, sitting down. minho snapped his fingers in front of han’s face, a sheepish smile when he looked up at him confused.

“you’re such a… dramatic simp. she’s been away for only two days, dude. and! you’ve been talking like, non-stop. give her a rest” hyunjin chuckled, smiling boyishly. han murmured something incoherent about hyunjin being single and not knowing how it feels like when chan added:

“i never knew that side of you. well, maybe that explains why y/n always accompanied us on yours…”

changbin returned with kimchi and placed it down next to the still sizzling meat.

“he’d die” jeongin quickly summarised “you’re such a love-sick puppy”

“‘m not!” he whined and almost threw himself over the edge when his phone dinged with a message notification.

face lighting up, fingers swiping… only to see a text from minho. ‘lol’.

he glared up at him, causing all of them to burst out laughing.

“ha, ha. very funny. can’t a man just simply miss his gorgeous, beautiful and breathtaking girlfriend who he is madly i love with?” jisung frowned and his phone dinged again. this time it was you.

letting out a loud gasp he swiped just to see a cute picture of you. you were resting your chin in the palm of your hand, the other holding down a colourful drink. the sun shone prettily on the picture but your smile… your smile outshined it.

seungmin leaned forward to peek through his shoulder and smiled softly.

“my pretty y/nnie…” han cooed and saved the picture, fingers typing with the speed of light to tell you some compliments and yet again, to announce how much he missed you.

the others scoffed, starting to dig in the food. changbin’s mom arrived, holding a tray with iced teas for them.

han put his phone down, done for now. you said you’re having dinner too so he thought he won’t disturb you. letting out a deep sigh, he noticed changbin mom’s gaze on him.

“where’s that pretty girl of yours?” she asked suddenly, looking around “i thought she’s coming too?”

“well she’s on a trip with her friends…” han murmured, a pout forming in his lips.

“awh, it’s a shame. i was looking forward to see her again” changbin-mama shook her head.

And also last weeks celly, a whole lot softer and more tender with jamarr skipping then walking straight towards joe who held his arms out for him? thats crazyyyy he was expected! he was welcomed!! he was loved!!! the way one of the fired up coach just let joemarr have their intimate little moment before slapping jamarrs shoulders in joy is also crazy to me 😵‍💫 and just this screenshot of that celly where they’re just wrapped around each other right in front of their sidelines. the fuck. watched that shit sick to my stomachhhh i had enoughhhh.

THE WEIRD CLOTHES PAIRING THING IS INSANE TO ME TOO. they do it in such subtle ways that you just think its a coincidence and you're delusional and it probably is but!! but??? they went to the game wearing yellow and purple (color coordinating lakers colors!! if i were on a date i would also do that cringy shit!!) that is also coincidentally lsu colors! another theory is they each chose to wear lakers colors without the other knowing of which this is just another case of soulmatism. the matching shoes during week 3! the sort of matching color schemes for their away game airport fits! last week both wearing rick owens apparently idk?? no idea if they've done this before this season btw i just got here lol. this is reaching ofc but very fun to think of!

how i would describe their relationship is ride or die with incredibly similar way of living by which i mean they live and breathe a sport they’re so talented in and they play to win and beat themselves up for doing bad in but also with the awkwardness of knowing they’re two vastly different people with different ways of seeing things and handling things but also even with that steadfast difference of being they also believe in each other in a truly outrageous way that it translates to them saying and being insane about each other (hence the list above) with little to no shame. (i hope this makes sense because im not reading all that over again wow)

like they’re so complicated to me!! by all means i don’t actually know these two or what they’re really like, but surface level they’re so different! their temperament is literally 180, joes cool and steady persona, incapable of being ruffled, closed off, moments of silliness he brings out only in certain situations, smart little quips he gives out at times like he can’t help himself vs exuberant open extroverted blustering to hide his shyness runs his mouth always down to fight jamarr chase. they couldn’t be more different! so how can they read each other so well? how can they run routes and plays with minute changes whilst running from men trying to take them down between one heartbeat to the next? how is it that jamarr is so down bad for this man that he can just say the shit he does about him? how much trust does joe have in this man that he shuts down every bad shit anybody tries to tell him or coax him to say? something about /always/ choosing the other despite everything is always a thing that attracts me to a ship.

also after that infamous kc game shove, i definitely think they had a very tough heart to heart where jamarr maybe spills his full feelings over the contract and how he hasn’t been getting the ball to actually make big plays and how his worth as a wr1 is being brought to question and joe probably spills on his own feelings on how jamarr held out so long and had last minute (?) changes of playing that week one ramps up joes own anxiety and hang ups like i definitely feel like he had some unchecked anxiety over playing with his wrist that first game that jamarr probably said something incredibly insane yet uplifting about in response. the next game its like they mended some unseen frayed stitch of their connection! first drive banger of a 41 yarder td for jamarr, two tuddys for the game in fact lol!! joe gets him his deep ball, then the insane way joe rushed at him after his 63 yarder in the next game, its like that first touchdown against minnesota again. i just wish the very best for them, to keep making these insane passes and insane runs they've been making since lsu.

anyway i feel like a lot of my rambling is for jamarr sorry 😭 he’s like a drug to me such an interesting person i base my thoughts around him. I feel obliged to say i wrote my first ever fic and its them lmao and i link this just as a fair warning to everyone that i very obviously write and ramble in the tags like im in love with jamarr, definitely with some bias, and I’m learning how not to be ashamed of that !

ik it just came out (which: btw, i loved the art and the questions + answers sm), but im already so curious abt the process with creating the quiz and how you assigned some of the answers to characters (besides the gimmes). do you mind walking through a bit of lore or explanation for some of the question and answers!?!? ❤️

I started drafting the quiz around the time I got back to editing/revising the LoBro drafts and posting chapters. I spent a lot of time on it because I didn't want certain questions to be too skewed to one character while still keeping in mind that some characters have overlapping traits. Although, based on the recent results...either my quiz was still flawed or a lot of readers happen to be perfect matches for yanagi (poor satsuma has barely hit 20 while the top three have surpassed 100).

I theorize that if you're a perfect match for guys like Satsuma, you're probably not chronically online enough to encounter my fic anyway. During my time drafting this post, I went back and edited the quiz to help our boy out a little more.

There are questions that I want people to answer honestly and freebie questions where I allow people to choose based on what result they want. I'll go through my approach to each one without spoiling too much.

1- joke question, answers describe their builds

2- i thought love language was an important thing to consider. it's revealed in the results which language each character has as their main one. i hint it very subtly in the story. Tomohiro and Satsuma are pretty obvious but I was initially unsure of what I wanted for Kotose and Yumeki. So their signs of love language are pretty vague in early appearances.

3- a few answers were overlapping and some were specific to one character. i wanted each result to have the same number of options linked to them, so i had to think of shared traits for the overlapping options. these were the questions i had to revise a lot. it was hard finding good traits for mc.

4- same as 3. you gotta take the good with the bad.

5- many overlapping options. some are hobbies that the LI does and some are hobbies that the LIs would find attractive in someone.

6- cliche favorite color question referencing the color themes of the characters

7- another question about what you find attractive. clothing is a way of expressing oneself so i feel it does kind of indicate personality and style. you want to have an aesthetic that works with yours after all. if you picked "i prefer him naked" or any options in the quiz that make you sound desperate, you'll get MC

8- sibling status was a hard one. if you are an older sibling, I matched with someone who would prefer a mature and leaderly partner. if you are a younger sibling, you got someone who is the mature and leaderly partner. if you have brothers, you were paired with more masculine LIs. if you have sisters, you got more feminine LIs. The other options were filler to make the numbers even. don't read into it too deeply

9- ideal dates are explained in this ask

10- each LI got 2 options for music. i didn't want to overcomplicate things by having overlapping choices, but there were a few exceptions i made for the sake of satsuma after editing. I've considered expanding upon their music tastes in a future post.

11- internal struggles that each LI experiences. a perfect match would be able to relate to their sadness. if you have a good understanding of each character, you might even consider it a freebie

12- because i mentioned that yanagi was kinda based on cartman. I divided the choices based on how similar the SP characters were to each LI, though some were just there to even up the numbers

13- a freebie. i mentioned who each of the LIs were based off of in this post, so the images were hints at who it could be (if people didn't already guess based on the personality)

14- how each LI would deal with an attack. yanagi's option references a joke from the early chapters

15- freebie

16- freebie. new question added so that anyone who was frustrated with their result (likely people who got mc/yanagi) could have another chance to change it (and get satsuma)

Idk, I just love everything about this. I love every single item on its own and because of the reoccurring colors everything fits together nicely. The different colors also just look great together in general and I simply love how it’s overall not all that feminine but then again it is? Like, the jacket definitely brings the femininity into it and the gloves are simultaneously feminine and edgy and I love the hairstyle too. It’s just a very cool look and I love it! stu: he has a matching tattoo with billy (they did stick n pokes on each other when they were like. 14) on his forearm. these are inital tattoos, BL on stu and SM on billy. <- hc also stole from an artist, the link to the art is here. he has very faded scars on his knuckles and hands in general from knife fights with billy at like. 12. shoulder freckles from sun exposure :']]]] and very light ones across his nose. has thigh scars because he would get bored during the summer and selfharm??? and has ones on his chest for the same reason. scar in his scalp from running at the pool as a kid and he fell and busted his head open (found when he had a usually short haircut). he does actually have a nose bump from breaking his nose as a child, he fell out of a tree and landed on his face because he does not know how to fall properly. he's broken it a couple times after, one from a drunken fistfight with billy, the other from falling down the stairs in his house (he's most embarrassed of this one). dog bite scars on his arm from him riling up some dog because he thought it was funny and then it attacked him (some dog was like a pitbull named princess). he's a tiny tad colorblind

when you first transferred schools in order to master your cursed technique, your first instinct was to raise an eyebrow at your classmates. the lineup of students in your school consisted of a boy who might as well be a bodybuilder, a blonde girl whose hair seemed to defy gravity, an awkward looking stoic boy clad in traditional clothing, a girl with a gun holster on the side of her baggy pants who wore a bored expression as her gaze met yours, and a normal looking blue haired girl standing next to some rusty looking robot. with all their strange hairstyles and odd clothing choices, combined with how nonchalant they were about their mechanical companion, they might as well be the cast of some forgotten sitcom from the 80s.

after introducing yourself to your stiff new classmates, you were whisked away to be led to your dorm by the blue haired girl (would you call her a “bluenette”?) who you learned was called miwa. as you walked, you asked her questions about her cursed technique, to which she sheepishly smiled and explained how she was the most “useless” of the students.

in response to her shameless self deprecation, you simply scoffed and sent an easy smile her way. “you really shouldn’t beat yourself up like that miwa, if you do it’ll be much easier for your opponents to.” despite the teasing nature of your words, you really did hope you’d managed to encourage her a bit.

miwa turned to you with bright eyes and a sincere smile. “that means a lot, really! it’ll be so nice to have an upperclassman here who isn’t so intimidating. i’m always so nervous to ask mai for help with stuff, so it’s nice to know you believe in me!”

her smile was infectious as you mirrored your junior’s facial expression. “there’s no need to be scared of them you know, believe me, just because they’re older doesn’t mean they have any idea what they’re doing.”

she shrugged in response. “i guess you might be right, this morning mai was practically shaking in her boots about getting to meet you, so maybe it’s all just a tough facade!”

you thought back to the girl who had introduced herself as mai.

what first caught your eye was the way she carried herself. while next to her other classmates as she introduced herself to you, arms crossed over her chest and back straight, as if it was an attempt to look high and mighty. rather than a proper introduction, she simply told you her name, before looking away boredly. the both of you chose to ignore the way todo teased her, before turning to introduce himself with a smug smile. he opened his mouth to seemingly ask you something, but was quickly cut off by mai stomping on his foot, sending him a harsh look. she glanced back at you with a slightly softer expression and a monotone apology for “his idiocy.”

you chuckled quietly at the idea of the girl who presented herself as so blunt and cold getting all nervous at the idea of your arrival.

breaking you out of your reminiscence, miwa waved her hands in front of her nervously as she turned to you. “just please don’t tell her i said that!” her guilty expression rivaled that of a kid who’d been caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

before she could continue in her nervous exclamation about how intimidated she was by her senior, you grabbed her hands that had been motioning wildly to match her words. “don’t worry miwa, i’d never sell you out like that.” you let out a small chuckle as you examined the genuine worry on her face, to which she just sheepishly smiled. it was funny to you how scared she seemed of her seniors, but it couldn’t help you from getting an odd urge to want to protect the small girl.

“besides,” your smile turned sly “, if what you say is true, i bet mai would be too shy to even talk to me!” a loud laugh escaped your lips as you continued your way down the dorm halls with long strides. behind you, miwa sped up when remembering she was supposed to be the one escorting you to your dorm.

“come on, that’s not fair to hang it over my head like that!” she whined as she managed to match your pace.

as miwa trailed ever so slightly behind you, you caught sight of a newly familiar head of dark hair (under the fluorescent lighting you couldn’t entirely tell whether it was green or black.)

“mai!” you called out to the girl you’d been newly acquainted with, raising one hand in greeting and slinging the other around your very embarrassed looking juniors shoulders.

the girl you’d shouted to turned to you with heavy lidded eyes that gave her face a bored, almost annoyed, expression. her turning your way was quickly followed by todo, who you guessed had been standing next to her, glancing over the hallway corner to meet your gaze. those two made an odd pair, from what you could tell. in contrast to mai’s impassive greeting, todo had introduced himself with booming confidence, before going on to complain to utahime that he’d have to leave in order to make it back to his dorm to score tickets for a concert featuring takeda. in the moment, you had to stifle a laugh at the memory of such an intimidating looking dude having a huge crush on an idol with absolutely no shame about it.

mai opened her mouth to say something, but was quickly cut off by todos roaring voice. “hey new kid!” his demeanor had been as confident as you remember, despite the fact that you were pretty sure he’d forgotten your name in the short time from when you had left to see your dorm. you gave him a smile and a lopsided wave in response.

“did you snag those tickets you were worried about earlier todo?”

“easily.” he bragged as if you cared about getting a pair of tickets for yourself. “however, earlier i meant to ask you a question, but SHE,” he pointed a thumb annoyedly at his companion, “very rudely interrupted me by stepping on my foot.”

“todo…” mai’s tone seemed warning as her eyes flickered between you and him.

“as much as i would LOVE to hear what your question is todo, i really do have to go unpack” you smiled abashedly, pulling miwa to your side, who nodded with wide eyes at how unphased you were.

“it might be better to ask when we spar later.” he shrugged. “that way i can really hear your impulse answer.” he crossed his arms, clearly to look intimidating.

“works for me! i’ll see you then too, mai.” you winked at her as you tugged miwa along behind you. mai huffed at your embarrassing show of flirtatiousness, but you didn’t miss the slight flush of her cheeks as she turned from you while rounding the corner.

even as you were close to the door of your dorm at the end of the hall, you could still hear mai berating todo for how embarrassing he was.

“i think she likes me.” a cat like grin overtook your face as you stopped in front of your dorm.

“utahime said your uniform would be folded on your bed, once you’re changed you can join us for sparring.” miwa smiled bashful smile. she’d probably chosen to ignore your previous statement in hopes of not being dragged into any drama.

“thanks miwa!” you grinned and gave her a friendly pat on the shoulder, to which she simply looked away timidly.

“it’s no problem, really.” she waved off your appreciation. “but between the two of us, i think you may be right about mai liking you.”

she bowed before running off, probably to get ready for sparring, leaving you grinning like an idiot in response to her revelation.

maybe the feeling was kinda mutual.

you were quick to change into your all black uniform pants and jacket, then breaking into a stride to the yard where sparring took place. that was, until you realized you were wandering rather aimlessly considering, you know, you didn’t really know where the yard was yet. peering around the hallway, your eye caught on an oh so familiar girl adorned in baggy black pants.

“hey mai!” you almost had it in you to feel bad for approaching her yet again.

almost.

“i’m kinda lost, d’you think i could walk with you?”

she nodded a yes in response, motioning with a hand for you to follow her.

after a one too many moments of awkward silence, you decided you’d have to be the one to bite the bullet and break it. “you know that thing todo was saying earlier about having a question he needed to ask me?” she looked up in a way that made her seem as if she’d just been brought out of being lost in her thoughts.

“what of it?”

“do you happen to know what it was? he seemed pretty serious about it.” well, as serious as todo could get.

to your surprise, mai attempted to stifle a chuckle, before a laugh managed to slip past her.

“it’s this totally dumb thing he likes to do.” she tilted her head slightly back so she looked at the ceiling as she talked. “to size people up, he likes to ask them what their type in women is.”

you let out a snort as you laughed, though you couldn’t say you were surprised.

“he seems like such a hopeless romantic, it’s hilarious.”

“yeah.” a soft smile painted her face. “but you’d better get an answer ready, if he thinks you’re too boring he’ll beat your ass.”

“really now?” you raised an eyebrow, to which she nodded in confirmation. “what does he classify as ‘boring’?”

she shrugged. “depends. whenever someone prefers personality he either beats the shit out of them or starts crying.” it was clear in her tone how exasperated her friend made her.

“what did you say? when he asked you?” you turned to face her fully, which made her realize how close together your faces were. for just a beat, she paused to examine your expression. despite your earlier teasing, you seemed sincere in your question. either you were oblivious to the blush spreading across her face, or you chose not to tease her for it.

before an answer could leave her parted open lips, she was interrupted by a voice calling both of your names.

“hey toshinori!” you smiled at the stone faced boy in front of you as you used mai’s shoulder as an armrest.

“it’s noritoshi.” the monotony in his voice made you stifle a laugh. “and you guys are running late for sparring, what were you even doing?”

her eyes glowered in his direction, clearly not in the mood to play hall monitor with him. “i was just being welcoming to our new classmate.”

he ignored her passive aggressive response and turned to you. “todo keeps asking where you are, so you might wanna hurry up.” with a swift turn, he began walking down the hallway with long strides.

once he seemed out of earshot, you burst into laughter, and from your arm you could feel mai’s shoulders shake from repressing a giggle.

“he walks like a goddamn penguin!” you referred to how his arms were wide at his sides and his stiff steps.

“him and mechamaru walk the exact same way, i’m starting to think he might just be a more advanced robot.” her dry tone was combatted by the way the corners of her mouth turned up in a lopsided grin.

“though, we should probably get going, even if i get a pass for being new here, i’m not sure how utahime would react to you being late.”

you didn’t notice how her eyes softened at your concern for her as you beckoned for her to lead the way.

“i don’t think she’d mind, after all utahime loves me for my pep and bubbly spirit.” her voice oozed with sarcasm while you smiled to yourself about how you’d managed to get her to loosen up.

the walk to the sparring field was quick, and it made you wonder how much time you two had taken just talking at the end of the hallway. you were greeted by the sight of your strangely styled classmates (plus the literal robot) beginning to split into pairs. before you could turn to mai with the question of partnering up, you were greeted by a todo with a firm hand on your shoulder.

“we’re partnering up, new kid!” it was more of a declaration than an offer. you smiled awkwardly as his shadow enveloped your figure, seeing mai be whisked away by momo out of the corner of your eye. if you’d looked close enough, you’d have been able to see the annoyed look mai sent at todo and the smug smile momo flashed at mai and her obvious display of jealousy.

you planted your feet on the ground that was caked in dust and prepared yourself into a fighting stance, with fists raised and legs steady. though it seemed you’d gotten prepared to defend from an attack that wasn’t coming. instead, todo marched over to you confidently. mai glanced over from her sparring, knowing exactly what was coming.

he called your name in his usual booming voice, which you were surprised he actually knew.

“what is your type in women?” he towered over you, his expression dead serious despite his absolutely ridiculous question.

feeling mai’s eyes trailing you, you glanced over to her. she mouthed something to you about not saying personality. you failed to hold back a chuckle, which seemed to snap todo out of his intimidating glower.

his gaze followed yours, which was still focused on mai for the briefest of moments.

“ohhhh i get it…you’ve got a thing for mai, huh?” he sounded like a child about to blackmail their sibling.

a furious blush overtook mai’s face practically instantly, while momo covered her mouth with a hand to suppress a laugh. you glanced between a boastful looking todo and a tomato looking mai.

“yeah i guess you could say she’s my type.” you shrugged nonchalantly, to which you could hear mai sputtering something about how you were just trying to embarrass her. miwa had a sheepish look on her face as she walked over to check on mai, though it only seemed to make her more flustered when miwa asked if she wanted to go to the nurse.

while witnessing the admittedly charming trainwreck happening in front of you, there was a moment for you to look back at todo.

“are you CRYING?”

“i have no shame in it. it’s like mai is my daughter and i’m walking her down the aisle at her wedding.”

he ignored your blatant confusion at his reaction. “young love is so beautiful. you have my full blessing to date mai.” he sniffles and wiped his nose, then held it out for you to shake, to which you scrunched your nose in disgust.

“thanks for the ‘blessing’ and all, but now that we’re done with that, i think i should go spar with lover girl over there.” you threw your thumb over your shoulder to point to mai.

“you guys should join me and takeda for a double date! we can arrange a date once she finally answers my calls.” todo had a large grin, shameless about his tear stained cheeks.

“how about it?” you raised an eyebrow at mai, who had become significantly more composed in the time you hadn’t been looking in her direction.

“absolutely not.” she deadpanned, though her impassive look didn’t last very long as she leaned over to whisper in your ear, cracking a small smile reserved for you. “i’d rather we just hang out without that oaf, you know it’s embarrassing for them to see how you get me acting like a schoolgirl with her first crush.”

the moment paused for a split second for her to glance at todo, who was staring you down like a disapproving father.

“plus lord knows takeda isn’t answering him anytime soon.”

🏁 Coordinate 127: Story of Favorite and Vampires

A theory and thoughts about NCT 127′s Story of Favorite and why vampires are important in the NCT’s lore.

(!) WARNING: This is a theory as it is not confirmed by SM entertainment nor members of NCT, so please don’t believe this 100%!

I won’t talk about what actually happened in the story and its connection to their lore, I think there are many people out there from different platforms (mainly Twitter) discussed it. But I’m sharing you this one because I think its the most interesting of all of the ones I read,

The reason why the vampire can change his appearance because each member must have a part in the story.

And the thing is, some symbols/objects (fish, rose (specifically burning rose), moon, etc.) have already been shown since the beginning of NCT. Read here. Dreams often repeat things that we see in the past (dream), so we are bringing back the important elements from the past. Perhaps it will be used in NCT2021.

I will talk about Story of Favorite in a different perspective.

My main point:

“The tragic romance theme story is just an illusion to hold down the Neos to stay in the dream world.”

Although the Neos’ main objective is to leave the dream world, there are always B-side songs that seems so dreamy and romantic; those songs represent the things that tie down the Neos from leaving. A sweet and romantic dream. To be immersed in the romance inside the dream world so that they don’t want to leave and face the harsh reality. Though the significant other is never clear; maybe its just the feeling of being in love. After all its just an illusion, sent possibly by the main evil; perhaps Black Mamba?

Taeyong’s hair cut is not a fire in Sticker, but a snake. In Classic ver., Taeyong has a green snake brooch. In Catharsis Ver., Jaehyun and Taeyong have snake skin shoes.

This is evident from their Catharsis version photo shoot. Which was similar to aespa’s case, because they were under the Hallucination Quest by the Black Mamba.

I may not be able to tell you why the members’ moving flash/lighting colors different from each other (especially Mark, Johnny, and Yuta’s that don’t match at all) yet, but the moving flash is to show that they are in the enemy’s territory and are under its hallucination.

The story is tragic to slow down their mission; making them depressed.

Using a vampire may be a good symbol to represent their situation. Since they are immortal, there is no end for them. Like the Neos being in a never ending dream.

But I do have another idea.

Aliens, Ghosts, and Vampires are mentioned in The Matrix Reloaded.

It has something to do with these characters called the Exiles. I wrote a theory about that and you can read it here. In that theory, I wrote that perhaps there are some members that possess that role.

In the Classic ver., their clothes outfit resembles the Merovingian. Jaehyun and Taeyong’s resemble the character when he is in Club Hel. While in the Catharsis ver., their clothes resemble the people in Zion.

Even after reading and watching Story of Favorite, I still think all of it are illusions. How can you feel love in the dream world? Even after finding out that that world isn’t even real? Jae being the main protag probably has something to do with him being a hacker in Sticker; the first to track Black Mamba perhaps? So the snake is after him first. People still believe he’s the same hacker as the one Ningning was talking to.

Final conclusion (after watching the MV)

Jaehyun was the one who opened the dream for this time and synchronized with everyone. Which explains why he is the main character in the Story of Favorite. The snake was after Jae first (same explanation as my reblog^), Story of Favorite is a hallucination given to him. But unlike in aespa where they were saved by Naevis, he wasn’t, so he got bitten by the snake :) Using vampire as a theme for that was smart haha

But take note that this is just a theory. I myself don’t know to what extent do the NCT directors take inspirations from the film. But it is odd to see them using Aliens, Ghosts, and Vampires repetitively. This isn’t the first time vampire is used. WayV’s Nectar is about a vampire.
