Hi hiiii! I absolutely love LoBro and binge read it and scrolled through your tumblr for a bit! I really enjoy how you write and the humor and characters and everything is so awesome!!!

I was interested in asking if you’d be fine with fanfics/fanworks written about LoBro? I wanted to ask because I may or may not be considering writing something about them because I think it’d be cool,but I want to know how comfortable you’d be with that/ your thoughts on it since it’s your work and your characters and I understand there are very valid reasons why you wouldn’t be comfortable with it. I don’t mind either way! Just wanted to ask and tell you I love your work!! :) Thanks.

I appreciate every fan made media of my work! While I’d love to give permission for fanfic, things can get troublesome in terms of plagiarism (not on your part as the fanfic writer though).

Lobro is still an ongoing series, so there are a lot of scenarios and important plot points I have outlined but haven’t gotten to writing yet. I’ve been leaving clues for a lot of upcoming scenes and by the looks of peoples theories in the comments, many are picking up on them.

I can’t blame someone for getting antsy and wanting to write fanfic of those scenarios. It gets problematic if, for example, someone writes Scene X and posts it. I had Scene X outlined long before then, but I dont get to writing and posting it until later on. Even if I didn’t read the fanfic, I might be accused of plagiarizing someone’s fic of my work and I’d have no way to prove my innocence.

I’d say that if you want to write fanfic for lobro, it would have to be in a completely different universe with completely different circumstances. Like a zombie apocalypse au or fantasy world or something. Keep it short and one-shotty, don’t reference too much of the source material (especially not the major plot points). You can genderbend or make MC an oc and change whatever.

While id love to read peoples interpretations of my characters, I’m going to hold off on that until lobro is done, so don’t tell me about your fics for now. Once we reach that point and I’ve written all that I wanted to write, you guys can go wild and write whatever (and I’ll start snooping through your fics)

I also struggle to keep my art style consistent 😅 maybe it means you’re improving? I tend to not draw for long periods of time so my style changes very time I get back into it.

The hair looks great in both! I love how you color. Maybe one day I’ll draw more detailed concept art of everyone to make things easier on people’s imaginations

I can proudly say that I've reread over and over again the chapters just to make theories or headcanons in my head. At the moment my favorite character is satsuma what can I say I have a thing for big guys, I cried when I took the quiz and it turned out my dream match would be yumeki I have nothing against it but boy was it a shock to know that only one answer separated me from heaven. Even if I end up making a fanart for Osana Tomohiro.

Recently I was wondering about something. You said that Satsuma had been chubby in the past, it must have been before high school because none of the team members have given me any indication otherwise.

So I wonder, does he have stretch marks? I know it seems like a stupid question but listen.

People who lose weight abruptly can get them. In addition to that I remember when this one asked MC why he moved like a fat person which made him make that up over the summer.

I know it's probably not a thread you plan to pull but if satsuma knows that abrupt weight loss in people wouldn't he wonder why MC doesn't have any traits of having had them?

Anyway I only say this because I want some of MC's poorly developed lies to bite him in the ass.

I do have plans for satsuma to get suspicious of mc’s abrupt body change! I don’t wanna spoil, but it’s gonna cause a bit of conflict because tomohiro, who grew up with in-game mc, has never known him to be chubby. So what is the truth here 🤔 did mc lie to satsuma? Why would he lie about such a delicate topic? But mc seems to resonate is closely with guys like takumo and his struggles, it seems so real? Will he be forced to come clean about his isekai? I didn’t outline that far though…

You bring up a really interesting point with the stretch marks that I haven’t considered yet. Satsuma strongly believes in healthy, gradual weight loss. Not ego lifting, not starving, not pushing yourself to unhealthy standards. His weight gain as a child and weight loss as a teen were very slow, so the most visible of his stretch marks are on his legs (because he grew tall fast), with some faded ones around the waist and arms. If someone does notice, they usually assume they’re scars from a knife fight and don’t dare to question it

THE GENDERBEND LOBRO CAST LOOK SO GOOD. I had this thought immediately after seeing them but I remember in the story, m! tomohiro grows his hair out because MC says that he likes people w/ long hair ( I may be wrong ) and oftentimes, attractive girls are depicted with long hair. For f! tomohiro, I like to think that she cut her hair because f! mc mentioned that she likes people w/ short hair and oftentimes, attractive boys are depicted with short hair. Just a thought …

Mc doesn’t have a preference for hair length. He just said long hair so that tomohiro wouldn’t suspect him of liking tomoe, who keeps her hair short.

Tomohiro (both male and female versions) would’ve kept his hair short if mc didn’t give that answer, because it’s more practical for his martial arts training. But he grew it out and learned to deal with the disadvantage for the sake of attracting mc lol a short haired f!tomohiro would still be cute though

I’m curious, how would the each girls react to finding out their brother is crushing on the mc at this point in the story, if it doesn’t give away any future plot points lol.

Tomoe: her brother confirmed it to her after she teased and hounded him about it. She doesn’t know mc is pursuing her because she’s airheaded but she’s working to push him closer to tomohiro

Kotoha: she thought mc would make a good friend with Kotose so she’d be pleasantly surprised to find that kotose likes him. She’d pity her brother, knowing their family’s circumstances and how he’d be too prideful to admit those feelings to himself.

Satsuka: “oh really? That explains a lot. Anyway”

Yumeyo: “as long as he’s happy 🫤”

i also tend to write ignoring labels. characters just like who they like. but if i had to give loose assignments...

thinks it's normal to feel warm and fluttery in the embrace of another man. (to be fair, he doesn't have experience with real male friendship, or any sort of relationship, for that matter)

Tomohiro: bi (very aware)

the osana siblings' parents would support them, but because their family is so easygoing, they wouldn't feel the need to come out. their parents would be okay with them bringing anyone home as long as it's not a weirdo

Kotose: gay? demiromantic?

Kotoha: asexual spectrum? bi/panromantic?

the umiuta siblings would not come out because of their family's strict traditional beliefs. kotoha would be more likely to talk about her thoughts with her friends, though. kotose is still figuring things out (and struggling)

He hopes mc doesn’t get any stupid ideas from that since hes been putting the gay allegations on him. Sure, Yanagi mostly calls mc gay to poke fun, but after seeing satsuma and hearing mc joke about the other love interests, hes suspicious. He better not like me after this. Seems like hes projecting, or wishing for the opposite…

It’s still better than kissing the senator though (anything for the sake of the mission). The tongue was necessary to make it convincing. Hes never kissed before, but this was pretty decent. Has mc kissed someone before? Did the love interests kiss him? Yanagi is annoyed at the idea that mc might have more experience than him, but it shouldn’t count if it’s with guys right? It still annoys him for some reason…

Hes glad that mc still puts up with him and that the kiss didn’t seem to change anything. Mc continues to act normal with him, though a part of yanagi wishes the kiss shook him up more. It’s because yanagi likes toying with mc, he reasons. He wonders if he’s the only one thinking about it so much.
