the rory cult can come for me idgaf. but my absolute least favorite part of gilmore girls is a tie between the season 5 mess that was rory and dean AND rory’s naivety toward lorelai and jess’s family situations. the more i rewatch the show, the less i’m giggly and stuck in the references and cute clothes. rory slowly pisses me off more and more. starting with the bracebridge dinner when she talked to jess about his family so insensitively. continuing with her naivety toward lorelai’s relationship with her parents. JUST BECAUSE YOU STAYED WITH THEM FOR TWO SECONDS DOES NOT MEAN YOU UNDERSTAND LORELAI’S SIXTEEN YEARS STUCK WITH THEM!
