Shadow the Misfit

One of my close friends gave me a little prompt about shadow and I thought it would be very cute but sad(since it is slight angst) but I'm a little nervous because I have never really tried to write something for the media. (thank you ace <3 ) Also slight ooc for sonic's gang because they are always really nice.

Everyone knew Shadow as the cold hearted version of Sonic. He never intended to be that way. Though ever since the incident with Maria, he could never bring himself back to how he was. All he truly wanted was to be a part of sonic's friend group.. or at least just sonic's friend..

He tried many times, attempting to make it oblivious every moment. Shadow would leave little gifts like flowers on their porch while they were sleeping or make small comments that were slightly outside of his normal dialog, things like that. His behavior continued for months with absolutely no result. What was he doing wrong.. He was so upset and confused, he could not understand why they would not accept him as he was.

They would make small remarks about him not being good enough or too mean, yet Shadow could not help himself, it was just his nature to act that way. Maybe, maybe, if he tried harder then they would like him... even if it was not the true version of himself.

OKAY, so basically yh i went to go see sonic 3 w my friend, we saw the movie, it was amazing, i love shadow, AND AS WE'RE WALKING OUT WE SEE THIS LIGERIE SHOP AND MY FRIEND LOOKED AT ME LIKE "YK WHAT TO DO BRO"
