i just watched tangled bc i was sad and like. bro. this movie is so so so good like first of all ITS SUCH A COLORFUL MOVIE. and second of all rapunzel is my favorite like her life fucking sucked but she was like no i wanna explore !!!! i wanna experience things !!!! she was told that there is only hurt and suffering in the world and she believed it and yet she STILL wanted see the lights. that’s so brave. so very brave to be open to love when there’s a (very big) possibility of getting hurt instead. and flinn is super cool like the way he loves her and when he realizes he’s damn she hasn’t seen any of this i want to show her all the cool stuff this world has !!!! like the way he looks at her when she’s having fun, like she’s the most beautiful person ever. and like the way rapunzel goes from dependent on mother gothel to going against her. like she won’t stand for her abuse anymore. that’s so ducking bc strong it takes so much courage to go against your abuser, especially if they’re a family member because u r so close to them. the way rapunzle felt, the way she was manipulated and used by mother gothel the way she cried and fell into mother gospels hands in that one scene bc she thought she had been betrayed but the reality was that it wasn’t even true. and the horsey. and the chameleon. coolest animals ever fr
