Even better if SJ and SY are twins/brothers (maybe SJ can be the younger brother that has to keep his older brother on a leash, otherwise the other will go commit warcrimes for fun (or more like just running off towards all types of unhinged monsters))

I love fics that have the Shen twins as twin peaks lords of Qing Jing, but let's be real: If there is one peak which SHOULD have two whole peak lords, it should be An Ding, the literal peak of logistics and paperwork.

Just feels like it would make An Ding's workload more manageable.

I love sqh being an ink covered mess as a headcannon. But as the guy who has to procure things, and also had to attend functions with og sqq, I think he has a writing robe. It is a mess. The sleeves are basically black with ink, the elbows are worn and patched and worn again and it was Mobei's.

He'd told sqh to dispose of it when it got too damaged in a fight, but since most of the holes were at the bottom sqh just went, seems like a waste of a good robe, and claimed it as his. Mobei has given this man so many things since the robe and none of them get more use than the occasional ceremony. He'd replaced it once and sqh cried.

The other peak lords used to wonder where sqh got it when they found him wearing it in his office. The dark blue at odds with an dings pale yellows and the sleeves were long on him even after being tied back. The first time they see Mobei with sqh they connect the dots.

in omega consort shen yuan au, mobei jun has found a new sqh just like binghe found his nice shizun. his name is shang feiji (飞鸡 because his parents didn’t love him i guess idk) and he’s a mousy little alpha from a far less esteemed branch of og sqh’s family.

initially he’s brought in to lbh’s court bc he keeps a census of everyone whose cultivation potential is strong enough for them to have presented as an alpha or omega, and it’s curious that someone’s been able to hide for so long.

by this point, sy has been in lbh’s court serving as an advisor for a little while, so he’s there when this little rat of a man is brought before lbh. he hears his name (airplane and flying chicken are both pronounced fēi jī) and can’t help the ‘tch’ + eyeroll, which he explains away as ‘there was a man in my hometown with the same name who wrote a truly abysmal novel that haunts me to this day’

airplane hears that and he’s like !??!??!???? ‘pidw!??!???!!!!’ so of course after that sy’s like ‘ok we need to talk asap’

after their Conversation, sy is insistent on bringing airplane into the court, and mbj’s been administratively feeling og sqh’s absence since killing him. so, airplane joins the court, chucked into the deep end.

Okay, so, been reading some good scumplane (OG!Shen Qingqiu/Airplane) lately, because in this house we support Airplane being loved by terrifying/terrifyingly hot men, but also, like... I do love Moshang just so so much as a ship.

And all this has awoken a mighty need in me.

A need for a Moshangjiu fic with scumplane getting established first and then bringing our favorite popsicle in on things.

Anyway, scenario! Shen Qingqiu starts noticing Shang Qinghua when they're disciples via the classic scenario of being smart enough to realize something is fishy about SQH being the only survivor of a demon attack, begins paying attention to his most anxious shidi, accidentally shows his most anxious shidi the simplest of Human Kindness, accidentally becomes shidi's favorite shixiong, accidentally becomes friends with shidi, accidentally catches feelings. Continues being a Sneaky Bastard in order to figure out what shidi is up to (and now also to confirm shidi is single).

Ah, shidi is entangled with an Ice Demon. This shixiong will make use of his scholarly peak's library to learn all and then decide to- wait. Wait, it's super violent by human standards, but is it- is this demon attempting to... court shidi?

Not if SQQ dates him first he's not!!!

There follows a whirlwind romance between SQQ and SQH where no one really knows what's going on, especially the two involved, it involves a lot of shit talking about everyone else in their lives, snacks, and accidental trauma bonding.

Also Airplane being Airplane and accidentally spilling that not only is he also kinda crushing (bad) on Mobei-jun, but also Mobei-jun's entire backstory and please, shixiong, I know it all looks bad but this shidi's house is literally the only place in the world it's completely safe for his king to sleep, everyone deserves to sleep without having to worry about their relatives murdering them for things that aren't their fault from time to time, right, shixiong???

Shen Qingqiu: ...goddammit, the demon's a fellow sad little meow meow. (only not in these exact words because he doesn't know these phrases, naturally)

In a wild, bold, and - dare I say it - shockingly sexy convolution of thought processes and ideas, SQQ manages to finagle SQH into letting him meet with MBJ (SQH nearly has a heart attack three times in the process but it's fine, it's cool, this is his life, this may as well happen, it's fine-).

SQQ: It has come to my attention that my shidi is spying for you on our sect.

MBJ: (glowering at SQH, who is cowering behind shixiong wondering how he got talked into all this)

SQQ: However it also appears that this is merely a cover story and the only thing you really do is use his room to nap. And also that you are quite fond of him.

SQH: (This is it, this is how I die. Again.)

MBJ: (...if I stare straight ahead and don't change my expression, no one will be able to tell that he's right)

SQQ: So anyway I think you should join Cang Qiong Mountain Sect.

MBJ: (gears grinding)

SQH: (squawking splutters of protest and confusion)

SQQ: (who speaks panicking!SQH at this point) Stop that, it's perfectly reasonable. He has the head disciple of our logistics peak under his thumb, it would be the simplest thing in the world for him to have you throw the sect into absolute chaos without even trying, then organize an attack, swoop in, and crush us all. He could have done it years ago, but he never has, he never even seems to initiate anything. I don't think he even cares about taking the Northern Throne, I think he's just incompetent about wanting to spend time with you. So he might as well just lie low until our shizuns ascend and then I'll take him on as a disciple on Qing Jing and you two can stop sneaking around like idiots.

MBJ: >8O

SQQ: Are you actually opposed?

MBJ: (folds arms and looks away sulkily, because like... it's true but you don't have to say it like that)

SQH: 8O ...reverse uno...

SQQ: What?

SQH: You're reverse unoing my blorbo!

SQQ cannot continue because the System just presented the option to accept this potential new plot line (even if it does have the rather confusing title of 'Shidi Has Two Hands'), and holy shit, Mobei-jun seems to be potentially down for it, holy shit, apparently Mobei-jun actually likes me, holy shit, SQQ may have just solved all my problems-?!? This is great, this is fantastic, this is the best day of my life, this- is a long time I'm being allowed to be myself about all this, why is Shen shixiong not interrupting...?

Anyway, he agrees to the plan, SQQ and SQH start dating, some more time passes, the previous generation of peak lords ascend, the new generation take their places, and a week later Mobei-jun is an outer disciple of Qing Jing Peak.

The other peak lords are not amused, Qingqiu that is a demon, no.

SQQ: So what I'm hearing is that whole 'Cang Qiong will accept anyone from anywhere' philosophy was a lie then?

He's a demon!

SQQ: Children can't help where they're born. Now if you'll excuse me, I have classes to teach.

First lesson of the day is SQH and SQQ are a package deal, take it or leave it. Second lesson is no canoodling with Shang Shibo until you've finished with lessons and chores for the day. Third lesson is if you see any Bai Zhan disciples hassling our peak's disciples you can break their swords. Just snap 'em in half. Throw them off the peak. Don't kill them, but do make them cry.

SQH, meanwhile, has now seen MBJ in an outer disciple uniform and had a whole bunch of new awakenings on top of all the other things he already knew about himself.

And, in a twist of dramatic irony... Qing Jing's first disciple to ever have demonic heritage decides the dorms are a no-go after one night because, to him, they are broiling hot, how can anyone sleep in this heat, and chooses to go sleep in the wood shed instead.

i’m loving your posts about the SQH 12/12 achievement AU, but i’m curious… who do you think would’ve been his first?

I am biased, it was Mu Qingfang. They play doctor but it's SQH who does the doctor ashshash. Whatever they have going on they refer to as their stress management therapy (it's an ongoing therapy that requires a few visits monthly, maybe weekly if it's a really BAD week)

Also, honestly, it's not like SQH set out on the goal to fuck his way across the peak, he literally is just vibing and taking opportunities as they go, the system making it an achievement its just a funny bonus that appeared after a while. So when the opportunity came up, mqf was perfect, they are BOTH overworked and stressed and mqf has NONE of the baggage that comes with yqy and og!sqq. wqw was also great on the no-baggage front, but sqh just had less chances to come across him at first.

Does CQM sect knows how long SQH has worked for MBJ? YQY let's SQH come back (presumably because he is that good at his job?) but do they ever interrogate him? Do they have any idea that SQH has been working for MBJ for years? I just find it funny that from their perspective SQH betrayed them but in a way you could argue that SQH was never loyal to the sect. Yes, he was already part of the sect, but he was an outer disciple and while they don't know, SQH already knew he would one day work for MBJ. While he feared for his life he probably had already in his head that he would be loyal to Mobei, so he entered the sect knowing he would spy for him. From the beginning he joined the sect with dishonest notions. But other than SQQ does any other Peak Lord has any idea about this? Because honestly, how fucking scary and impressive that SQH did this 😂

I don't think it's ever stated how long they knew about Shang Qinghua being a traitor (My memory is absolutely horrible, so I could be wrong) However im sure they can pinpoint the time a demon killed a lot of disciples with Shang Qinghua being the only survivor and was missing for some days then they mightve connected the dots to how long he's been a spy for Mobei Jun. I also don't think they interrogate him either, they just kinda let him back in after all the shit that went down

Looking back into the novel, Yue Qingyuan does let him back but there really was no interrogation from what I can find

Have some various OG!Shangjiu brainrot + OG!Shang Qinghua design from my side - I do like to imagine he's quite different from Airplane.

I love rareships even if they're a pain cause there is like 0 content. Guess I have to do it myself then.

Disorganized OG SQH thoughts under cut

If we can believe Airplane on SQH, his upbringing wasn't too terrible nor all that great, probably some "disposable" son in a family, starting as outer disciple on An Ding. Presumably he runs into the inadvertent ambush by Mobei-Jun, and is similarly thrown to die by his fellow disciples. Assuming this happens as such in the OG timeline, it's easy to see why SQH would have no qualms betraying the sect. Overall tho, I imagine he was ambitious even before MBJ to fight his way up the ranks regardless of the cost. I don't imagine him to be afraid to climb over corpses, if only to secure himself a place as peak lord. I could see him having a bit of a two-sidedness to him kinda like NHS. Pretend to be demure and harmless/weak to get what he wants and not draw attention since everyone assumes him incompetent outside of his work as lord of paperwork, but a lot more ruthless and unfriendly on the inside. He doesn't particularly care for his fellow peak lords and thus is willing to sell the secrets to MBJ in exchange for his life Cold and calculating, ruthless, A grade actor, two faced, rude but repays debts (like mbj leaving him alive and therefore doing stuff for him; I think he'd be aware that he's hopelessly outmatched against mbj so is this technically coercion??)

Anyway with SJ probably an enemy/rivals to lovers situation starting with a spiderman pointing meme game of "I know what you are" and ending in "everyone sucks - I agree" and watching the world burn together or something it's all still vague in my head

Reverse trasmigration au, where the peak lords (SJ + og!SQH included) transmigrate into stuffed toys.

So my first thought was that Shen Yuan is, of course, already an adult in this au, but then I thought; "but what if they transmigrate to a time when Shen Yuan is still a child?"

Sooo yea

There's more under this but I wanted to shorten it so it isn't that long on ppl's pages, and it's easier to scroll by :D (also because I wanted to try out the 'read more' feature-)

After all of the peak lords die (MQF also either got killed or did it himself due to the amount of guilt and grief, ig?), they all wake up as stuffed plushies. Now, they can leave these bodies at will (it took them a bit to learn and get used to it), but that's only at night or when they're home alone.

Now, imagine them waking up and they see Shen Yuan, a child that just looks a lot like Shen Jiu, just somehow softer and kinder. Also paler and more sickly.

The peak lords very soon come to the realization that SY is terminally ill, he has many issues to the point where it's a miracle that he's still alive, yet he's doing it but the future looks grim for him.

The doctors think that he won't live long, his family is worried and his siblings try to keep him company, but despite all of that, the kid is still lonely, so he talks to and hangs out with all the plushes that are actually the peak lords

Sy takes these toys to the hospital while he cuddles with them at home and treats them like as if they were real people (which they are, but he doesn't know that

Sy grows up with the peak lords by his side, his condition is stable and he's trying to pursue a career in teaching literature (he loves teaching and kids), but his condition suddenly takes a dive for the worse, rendering him unable to teach anymore

I say that he loves kids and teaching, but is sadly unable to do so anymore, and so he spends his time at home and then finds pidw, where he reads the story and critiques it just like in canon

This time however, the peak lords are present and read the story with him, some more horrified than others at the prospect of the story (they also definitively have an existential crisis or few because of it)

In this au however, Airplane also releases all of the drafts with the backstories and what pidw was essentially supposed to be, before it turned into the cash grab it was

Due to this, SY becomes enraged at this to the point where his heart gives out and he passes, making the peak lords freak out until suddenly they're back in their og world, before all of this happened and they all were disciples

I imagine that each of them get their memories from sy's world back once they join Cang Qiong, so they get their memories back a day or a week after joining

Many of them will be wary of SQQ or will be trying to prepare for his arrival, since they now also know what he's been through (many of them don't know how to feel about that yet)

Time skip to when they become peak lords, sqq one day flies off on xiu ya, much to the surprise and worry of all the other peak lords

LQG follows after him, since he's the strongest and therefore can bring sqq back easily, or so he thinks

Sqq has sped off at a speed that none of them knew he was capable of, almost like a man possessed

Cut to a few days later, the two return to cang qiong, however sqq is carrying a child wrapped up in a coat that is, much to their alarm, bleeding and injured

And wouldn't you know it? It's Shen Yuan! :D

As it turns out, sqq somehow managed to link his and sy's souls together, so that sqq could find him if they were both in the same world ever again

So sqq flying off so quickly was due to him sensing sy's soul, so he went to retrieve the now small toddler

Sy is still weak and fragile, but much to the horror of everyone else, he was already branded as a slave as well (hence all the blood)

I think that the peak lords all decide to care for the kid, while sy mainly stays on qing jing peak with sqq (sqq reffered to him as his 'little brother', so that all the other sects would stop asking and snooping around due to the child, but also due to the obvious resemblence)

Sy, of course, remembers everything from his past life, so yay to chaos? He does however decide that screw it, he's gonna do everything he can to prevent the fates of all of these people

The thing is with this au that I cannot decide the setting properly

I did mention sy joining the sect a little after the peak lords become, well, peak lords, but I also really want Luo Binghe to be older than him? Like, lbh meets this cute sickly child in the sect that everyone seems to dote on, and the child is super kind to him and stuff?

Now since the peak lords know about pidw, they all try to stop all of the bs from happening, including sqq who is still strict, but he's also just a much better teacher? He's still strict, but also a bit kinder and stuff? I like to think that he was unaware of all of the bullying lbh has been through because of his disciples, so maybe he stops it this time because he's aware of it?

I’ve been thinking about the way SQH is portrayed in the svsss fandom for a hot second now.

Majority of the fandom usually portrays peak lord SQH somewhere along the lines of short, chubby, mousy man, but i have seen lean build SQH— honestly, i’ve seen a lot, and i enjoy all portrayals of peak lord SQH. But what i’ve been mostly thinking about is how airplane is portrayed.

Airplane was a struggling man, we all know that. A struggling man who at first wrote PIDW as a way to vent, but because of the fan’s wants, resorted to writing horrible porn with basically no plot, and PIDW immediately became a bestseller or something (+ squired the most known hater on the face of the earth: peerless cucumber (ok maybe not most known hater ever but you can’t convince that not many people outside of PIDW’s community haven’t at least heard the infamous name peerless cucumber, cmon) )

He was struggling for money, and he said so himself. Like, at first he posted for his own enjoyment, to vent and get his ideas out there, and his story’s weren’t that popular and he barely got any revenue for it. But PIDW was different. It sparked something in readers and it blew up in popularity. Readers didn’t want plot though, they wanted LBH to papapa every woman he possibly could! And how could airplane say no to them, when he needed the money?

Here’s my point: i’ve seen airplane portrayed as chubby or sometimes past that, but i personally, based off airplane’s backstory, i think it could also be the opposite

Yeah sure Shen Yuan, you can take the skinny, lanky stay-at-home guy card if you want, since your backstory is mostly obscure and is mostly fandom-made atp, but i think airplane already has that card. SQH has basically been living paycheck to paycheck as far as we know, so wouldn’t he be less that chubby? Or something

See, i say this from personal experience. If airplane truly was struggling with money and everything, wouldn’t he also have difficulty acquiring food? You don’t just live somewhere and not have to pay for anything: you have to pay for water bills, electricity bills, ac bills, ex cetera ex cetera. And if SQH was posting fat chapters back to back (i think), wouldn’t his electricity bill be pretty high? The money he’d receive from PIDW would have to be first used to pay all of his bills, and then food, and then himself.

Airplane changed his own desires and ideas for PIDW for money. He changed PIDW’s entire course so fans would invest more into the story, for money. Yeah sure call him money-hungry without context to that statement, but based on the way MXTX portrays him, i think he was just trying to survive while writing what he loved. And then he couldn’t even do that because it wasn’t getting enough attention.

I think, if that was the case, airplane would be in the same spot as SY: skinny, lanky, around there. Or maybe even less, underweight. Maybe he had plenty of food before, but something happened, and now he’s in a tight spot with money, and from there he’s lost weight, or maybe he just never had enough to eat from the beginning. At least that’s what i think

In my head, that explains why peak lord SQH is usually portrayed as chubby: now that he has food, and unlimited cash (well, as unlimited as possible without looking suspicious since he’s the An Ding peak lord), he doesn’t want it to go to waste, or something along those lines. What is the system going to do, revoke OOC points? Damn it, he’s the author of this hellhole! And besides, he transmigrated as a baby; what are you gonna do System, revoke me some points because og SQH wasn’t chubby? Fuck that, i can do whatever i want, I wrote him!

(This kinda goes off the rails but because of that when SQH goes out to meet shitty merchants who think they’re better than him peak lord missions fitting of the An Ding peak lord and he sees a child who’s malnutritioned or around those lines, he thinks of himself and automatically takes them to An Ding for a better life)

(This has become such a habit that the Peak Lord are not even phased when SQH randomly says during a monthly peak lord meeting “oh yeah i took in x amount of disciples in recently” and MQF asks to check on them and SQH says “sure yeah and also check if they’re fitting for other peaks while you’re at it” because as much as he loves them and wants to be with them he doesn’t want his all of his children to take on the job he has because fuck, taxes are boring and dealing with YQY is worse… it’s better to deal with LQG not turning in his paperwork than having to deal with YQY’s fake ahh persona, like damn i didn’t know i wrote him so infuriatingly ouch)

(Edit: thanks to that comments that informed me better. people can be fat even without getting any food, and im going to be honest i didn’t know about that, and that’s mostly because of my illinformation. because of genetics, even people with eating disorders/those trying to lose weight can still be overweight due to genetics. sorry guys! but to clarify, this is just a headcanon, and because of that information for this hc SQH doesn’t fall in that pool. sorry if it sounds insensitive, i do have difficulties with how i word things!)
