I love fics that have the Shen twins as twin peaks lords of Qing Jing, but let's be real: If there is one peak which SHOULD have two whole peak lords, it should be An Ding, the literal peak of logistics and paperwork.

Just feels like it would make An Ding's workload more manageable.

Binghe was swapped with Shang Qinghua and they're both too embarrassed to tell SQQ. So when SQQ goes to SQH for help figuring out what's wrong with Binghe, Shang-Binghe is seethingly jealous about their close relationship but happily 'helps' his husband because he gets to hear SQQ gush about him unfiltered. And then slowly the identity reveal happens and... crud. I'm going to have to write this, aren't I?

Also, why did Luo Binghe cook something bad?

I love sqh being an ink covered mess as a headcannon. But as the guy who has to procure things, and also had to attend functions with og sqq, I think he has a writing robe. It is a mess. The sleeves are basically black with ink, the elbows are worn and patched and worn again and it was Mobei's.

He'd told sqh to dispose of it when it got too damaged in a fight, but since most of the holes were at the bottom sqh just went, seems like a waste of a good robe, and claimed it as his. Mobei has given this man so many things since the robe and none of them get more use than the occasional ceremony. He'd replaced it once and sqh cried.

The other peak lords used to wonder where sqh got it when they found him wearing it in his office. The dark blue at odds with an dings pale yellows and the sleeves were long on him even after being tied back. The first time they see Mobei with sqh they connect the dots.

in omega consort shen yuan au, mobei jun has found a new sqh just like binghe found his nice shizun. his name is shang feiji (飞鸡 because his parents didn’t love him i guess idk) and he’s a mousy little alpha from a far less esteemed branch of og sqh’s family.

initially he’s brought in to lbh’s court bc he keeps a census of everyone whose cultivation potential is strong enough for them to have presented as an alpha or omega, and it’s curious that someone’s been able to hide for so long.

by this point, sy has been in lbh’s court serving as an advisor for a little while, so he’s there when this little rat of a man is brought before lbh. he hears his name (airplane and flying chicken are both pronounced fēi jī) and can’t help the ‘tch’ + eyeroll, which he explains away as ‘there was a man in my hometown with the same name who wrote a truly abysmal novel that haunts me to this day’

airplane hears that and he’s like !??!??!???? ‘pidw!??!???!!!!’ so of course after that sy’s like ‘ok we need to talk asap’

after their Conversation, sy is insistent on bringing airplane into the court, and mbj’s been administratively feeling og sqh’s absence since killing him. so, airplane joins the court, chucked into the deep end.

Okay, so, been reading some good scumplane (OG!Shen Qingqiu/Airplane) lately, because in this house we support Airplane being loved by terrifying/terrifyingly hot men, but also, like... I do love Moshang just so so much as a ship.

And all this has awoken a mighty need in me.

A need for a Moshangjiu fic with scumplane getting established first and then bringing our favorite popsicle in on things.

Anyway, scenario! Shen Qingqiu starts noticing Shang Qinghua when they're disciples via the classic scenario of being smart enough to realize something is fishy about SQH being the only survivor of a demon attack, begins paying attention to his most anxious shidi, accidentally shows his most anxious shidi the simplest of Human Kindness, accidentally becomes shidi's favorite shixiong, accidentally becomes friends with shidi, accidentally catches feelings. Continues being a Sneaky Bastard in order to figure out what shidi is up to (and now also to confirm shidi is single).

Ah, shidi is entangled with an Ice Demon. This shixiong will make use of his scholarly peak's library to learn all and then decide to- wait. Wait, it's super violent by human standards, but is it- is this demon attempting to... court shidi?

...

Not if SQQ dates him first he's not!!!

There follows a whirlwind romance between SQQ and SQH where no one really knows what's going on, especially the two involved, it involves a lot of shit talking about everyone else in their lives, snacks, and accidental trauma bonding.

Also Airplane being Airplane and accidentally spilling that not only is he also kinda crushing (bad) on Mobei-jun, but also Mobei-jun's entire backstory and please, shixiong, I know it all looks bad but this shidi's house is literally the only place in the world it's completely safe for his king to sleep, everyone deserves to sleep without having to worry about their relatives murdering them for things that aren't their fault from time to time, right, shixiong???

Shen Qingqiu: ...goddammit, the demon's a fellow sad little meow meow. (only not in these exact words because he doesn't know these phrases, naturally)

In a wild, bold, and - dare I say it - shockingly sexy convolution of thought processes and ideas, SQQ manages to finagle SQH into letting him meet with MBJ (SQH nearly has a heart attack three times in the process but it's fine, it's cool, this is his life, this may as well happen, it's fine-).

SQQ: It has come to my attention that my shidi is spying for you on our sect.

MBJ: (glowering at SQH, who is cowering behind shixiong wondering how he got talked into all this)

SQQ: However it also appears that this is merely a cover story and the only thing you really do is use his room to nap. And also that you are quite fond of him.

SQH: (This is it, this is how I die. Again.)

MBJ: (...if I stare straight ahead and don't change my expression, no one will be able to tell that he's right)

SQQ: So anyway I think you should join Cang Qiong Mountain Sect.

MBJ: (gears grinding)

SQH: (squawking splutters of protest and confusion)

SQQ: (who speaks panicking!SQH at this point) Stop that, it's perfectly reasonable. He has the head disciple of our logistics peak under his thumb, it would be the simplest thing in the world for him to have you throw the sect into absolute chaos without even trying, then organize an attack, swoop in, and crush us all. He could have done it years ago, but he never has, he never even seems to initiate anything. I don't think he even cares about taking the Northern Throne, I think he's just incompetent about wanting to spend time with you. So he might as well just lie low until our shizuns ascend and then I'll take him on as a disciple on Qing Jing and you two can stop sneaking around like idiots.

MBJ: >8O

SQQ: Are you actually opposed?

MBJ: (folds arms and looks away sulkily, because like... it's true but you don't have to say it like that)

SQH: 8O ...reverse uno...

SQQ: What?

SQH: You're reverse unoing my blorbo!

SQQ: Quit making up word-

SQQ cannot continue because the System just presented the option to accept this potential new plot line (even if it does have the rather confusing title of 'Shidi Has Two Hands'), and holy shit, Mobei-jun seems to be potentially down for it, holy shit, apparently Mobei-jun actually likes me, holy shit, SQQ may have just solved all my problems-?!? This is great, this is fantastic, this is the best day of my life, this- is a long time I'm being allowed to be myself about all this, why is Shen shixiong not interrupting...?

Anyway, he agrees to the plan, SQQ and SQH start dating, some more time passes, the previous generation of peak lords ascend, the new generation take their places, and a week later Mobei-jun is an outer disciple of Qing Jing Peak.

The other peak lords are not amused, Qingqiu that is a demon, no.

SQQ: So what I'm hearing is that whole 'Cang Qiong will accept anyone from anywhere' philosophy was a lie then?

He's a demon!

SQQ: Children can't help where they're born. Now if you'll excuse me, I have classes to teach.

First lesson of the day is SQH and SQQ are a package deal, take it or leave it. Second lesson is no canoodling with Shang Shibo until you've finished with lessons and chores for the day. Third lesson is if you see any Bai Zhan disciples hassling our peak's disciples you can break their swords. Just snap 'em in half. Throw them off the peak. Don't kill them, but do make them cry.

SQH, meanwhile, has now seen MBJ in an outer disciple uniform and had a whole bunch of new awakenings on top of all the other things he already knew about himself.

And, in a twist of dramatic irony... Qing Jing's first disciple to ever have demonic heritage decides the dorms are a no-go after one night because, to him, they are broiling hot, how can anyone sleep in this heat, and chooses to go sleep in the wood shed instead.

Does CQM sect knows how long SQH has worked for MBJ? YQY let's SQH come back (presumably because he is that good at his job?) but do they ever interrogate him? Do they have any idea that SQH has been working for MBJ for years? I just find it funny that from their perspective SQH betrayed them but in a way you could argue that SQH was never loyal to the sect. Yes, he was already part of the sect, but he was an outer disciple and while they don't know, SQH already knew he would one day work for MBJ. While he feared for his life he probably had already in his head that he would be loyal to Mobei, so he entered the sect knowing he would spy for him. From the beginning he joined the sect with dishonest notions. But other than SQQ does any other Peak Lord has any idea about this? Because honestly, how fucking scary and impressive that SQH did this 😂

I don't think it's ever stated how long they knew about Shang Qinghua being a traitor (My memory is absolutely horrible, so I could be wrong) However im sure they can pinpoint the time a demon killed a lot of disciples with Shang Qinghua being the only survivor and was missing for some days then they mightve connected the dots to how long he's been a spy for Mobei Jun. I also don't think they interrogate him either, they just kinda let him back in after all the shit that went down

Looking back into the novel, Yue Qingyuan does let him back but there really was no interrogation from what I can find

SVSSS Fanfic idea

I came up with idea like, two years ago inside of a friend’s Discord DMs, so- All of the following is literally just me quoting younger me:

I HaVE THIS IDEA FOR A CRACK- TREATED-SERIOUSLY, SORTA ANGSTY MISUNDERSTANDING-FILLED FIC

So, imagine this, right?

OG!Shen Qingqiu finds a baby, the baby is Shen Yuan who reincarnated with the system. OG!SQ is straight up like,

"wtf, who left a baby here"

And there's a little note that says, “This child's name is Shen Yuan, please care for him." and Shen Qingqiu is a bit confused about them sharing last names, but waves it off as a coincidence. Though the baby looks a little bit like him, he's never had a child before. He takes the baby down to the brothel to give to the prostitutes there because he's sure that they'd treat the baby better than him.

But once he gets there and tries to hand the baby off after saying the baby's name, the girl's misunderstand that the baby is biologically OG!SQ's child and ask OG!SQ why he would want to abandon the child. He says the child has already been abandoned and he can't care for them because he wouldn't do good raising the baby.

The girls think the woman who birthed the child abandoned both OG!SQ and SY, so the girls feel sympathetic, but still persaude OG!SQ to keep SY. He can't refuse under their insistence and ends up letting the girls feed SY before going back up to his peak.

SQQ keeps trying to awkwardly raise the baby SY without letting his fellow Peak Lords or Disciples know.

Through a series of events, Shang Qinghua finds out and happily volunteers to be the uncle after a short freak out and being death threatened by SQQ.

So SQH, is kinda like, “oh shit. SQQ adopted a child. What's gonna happen to the plot??” and the system is like,

'no clue lol' causing SQH to overthink more.

SQH is gonna be the only one in the story who knows completly that SY is an adopted child of SQQ because he's 100% sure of his character's personalities and knows that SQQ wouldn't be going around bedding people- So that child definitely isn't biologically his.

Everyone else though is gonna misunderstand SY's origins in angsty ways.

Like YGY, QQQ and MQF are all convinced SQQ was harassed and forced to have the child. LQG is convinced that SQQ had an epic love story and fell for a woman that stabbed him in the back and abandoned him with their child. Ect.

It's all mainly SQQ's fault for saying things and not elaborating, causing everyone to jump to conclusions-

i’m loving your posts about the SQH 12/12 achievement AU, but i’m curious… who do you think would’ve been his first?

I am biased, it was Mu Qingfang. They play doctor but it's SQH who does the doctor ashshash. Whatever they have going on they refer to as their stress management therapy (it's an ongoing therapy that requires a few visits monthly, maybe weekly if it's a really BAD week)

Also, honestly, it's not like SQH set out on the goal to fuck his way across the peak, he literally is just vibing and taking opportunities as they go, the system making it an achievement its just a funny bonus that appeared after a while. So when the opportunity came up, mqf was perfect, they are BOTH overworked and stressed and mqf has NONE of the baggage that comes with yqy and og!sqq. wqw was also great on the no-baggage front, but sqh just had less chances to come across him at first.

Disorganized OG SQH thoughts under cut

If we can believe Airplane on SQH, his upbringing wasn't too terrible nor all that great, probably some "disposable" son in a family, starting as outer disciple on An Ding. Presumably he runs into the inadvertent ambush by Mobei-Jun, and is similarly thrown to die by his fellow disciples. Assuming this happens as such in the OG timeline, it's easy to see why SQH would have no qualms betraying the sect. Overall tho, I imagine he was ambitious even before MBJ to fight his way up the ranks regardless of the cost. I don't imagine him to be afraid to climb over corpses, if only to secure himself a place as peak lord. I could see him having a bit of a two-sidedness to him kinda like NHS. Pretend to be demure and harmless/weak to get what he wants and not draw attention since everyone assumes him incompetent outside of his work as lord of paperwork, but a lot more ruthless and unfriendly on the inside. He doesn't particularly care for his fellow peak lords and thus is willing to sell the secrets to MBJ in exchange for his life Cold and calculating, ruthless, A grade actor, two faced, rude but repays debts (like mbj leaving him alive and therefore doing stuff for him; I think he'd be aware that he's hopelessly outmatched against mbj so is this technically coercion??)

Anyway with SJ probably an enemy/rivals to lovers situation starting with a spiderman pointing meme game of "I know what you are" and ending in "everyone sucks - I agree" and watching the world burn together or something it's all still vague in my head
