Our third generation of chicks are hatching out right now! We had a hen get broody recently so we thought we would let her hatch out a few eggs. We had no idea she had so many under her. (She's very small and a little standoffish, so we let her be.) The evening before the freeze we saw a bit of eggshell peeking out from under her.
