Love your analysis! I have one question, how differently do you think the bridge/CRM situation would’ve gone if Rick knew Michonne was pregnant?

Thank you! This is such a good question. 👏🏽 It makes me think of so many different possible scenarios. But in any and every scenario, I think Rick knowing Michonne was pregnant would amplify the devastation of the situation. 😞 Wrote out the rest of my answer to the question below ⬇️💗:

This question first made me think about that 9.05 scene when Rick is standing on that bridge and sees Michonne and the group have arrived in real life. Whenever I see that scene I always feel like it’s gotta be the most bittersweet thing for Rick that he actually does get to see Michonne one last time but also knows that she now has to witness him “die” right in front of her. I think knowing she was pregnant would have made that scene even more painful for both of them. But I think he’d still make the sacrifice and shoot the dynamite because he’d see it as a final act of protecting his family. 

And then when he survives and ends up with the CRM, I think that whole experience away from his family would have been extra torturous had Rick known Michonne was pregnant. Especially because he’d be tormented by so many unanswered questions and thoughts. He’d hate that he wasn’t able to be there for Michonne during the pregnancy and not knowing if everything with the labor went smoothly for both her and the baby (especially after Lori died in childbirth). And then if the baby did arrive safely, it would eat away at him that he has a child out there whose life he’s never got to see of be a part of. Rick already died inside by losing the faces of his loved ones and so to add having a whole face of a child that he’s just never got to see could have been the nail in the coffin. 

I think he’d still have fought like hell to escape and get home over the years. But after all the thwarted escape attempts and once it was made clear to him that he can’t escape or else he’ll put his family in danger, his already heartbreaking situation would just be even more unbearable with the knowledge that he and Michonne were expecting. So I honestly think it might have been a blessing in disguise that he didn’t know Michonne was pregnant.

I also thought about how Rick would respond once he reunited with Michonne in TOWL had he known she was pregnant the last time he had seen her. While I think he'd ask about the baby a lot sooner, I ultimately think he still responds similarly to how he did in TOWL - longing to be with his wife and kids but convinced it’s safest for him to protect them from afar until eventually his heart-to-hearts with Michonne give him the courage to return to his family. 👌🏽

Ofc I can! (And tysm ur so sweet ☹️💗)

I use a toonnn of references! If I can’t find the pose that I want, then I create it! (I Frankenstein kny official art together [occasionally with my own art if needed] and it makes a good reference!) loads of people do that!

If you need help drawing in the kny style, I recommend searching up tutorials (as I’m not really good at explaining) and if that doesn’t work, you can search of kny oc bases on Pinterest! There’s a ton!

(Me personally, I studied the kny Style while i drew by looking at how the line weight works and how the proportions are different! It helps a lot.)

(Another thing to add [ I’m sure you’ve heard this a billion times before ] is PRACTICE! I practice everyday so that surely helps! I’ve been drawing since I was a little kid so I’ve experimented a lot with stuff in art! Make sure to practice as much as possible! 😋😋)

i've been okay!! i had my last day of work on thursday which was kind of bittersweet, i cried in front of my PI LOL (he's an old german man and he's always been very sweet to me n i'm really gonna miss him aaa) i had social plans the past couple of days which was fun but i'm kind of an introvert so i spent today recharging my social batter haha.

ooo i've been watching bojack horseman recently!! i like it, it's funny and realistic, but i've heard it becomes a total shitshow (not as in it becomes a bad show, it's still a great show BUT the characters kinda stress you out)...i really like it, i've been recommending it to people! i like shows that are kind of cynical commentaries w an overlay of comedy though HAHA so if you're into that too, i'd recommend it. if you wanna watch a really good romance show, i'd recommend 'one day' on netflix!! it's like a slow burn friends to lovers, and the acting in it was phenomenal. no spoilers but i will give a heavy angst warning.

Also kind of projecting my feelings at how I just realized I may be allergic to cats 😭 Been cuddling our cats so much, and I just thought that maybe it's not the dust that's literally making me sneeze for days but rather the cat hairs 😭😭😭💔💔

Anyway, this goes for people who may have cat allergies as well. Don't worry, we still have hope with hypoallergenic cats breeds😭

“Minho, stop being ridiculous.” You crossed your arms in front of the man who’s currently blocking your path to the front door.

“No. You’re staying here.” He was stubborn. Shaking his head disapprovingly, with his hands still clutching on to the doorframe of your bedroom. He wasn’t letting you out.

“Lee Minho, your mother is expecting us. We’re fucking late for dinner.” You were getting impatient. You glanced at your wrist watch to see half an hour has already passed since you were supposed to leave the house.

“I can just say you’re sick. I know she’ll understand.”

“What, and miss seeing your parents and the kids?” You clicked your tongue. You were not letting this opportunity to see the kids—Minho’s cats—slide. You missed the fur balls and you badly wanted to cuddle them upon arriving at his parents’ house.

“That’s the point!” Minho groaned. He finally free himself of gripping the door frame as he sighed exasperatedly. “I’m not letting you see the kids!”

“Lee Minho, what the fuck?!” You were in disbelief. Never had Minho stopped you from seeing his cats. It was only happening now, and you were beyond frustrated and confused. “You’re not letting me, because?”

You wanted an explanation to why he’s suddenly doing this.

“It’s because you’re allergic to cats!” He was wildly gesturing in the air, further showing his frustration to the events unfolding.

Cat allergies? You doubt you had one. This was a first, and you found it utterly ridiculous.

“I don’t have cat allergies, Minho. Stop making up things.” You crossed your arms, unimpressed at his excuse.

“Don’t give me that look!” He answered, frustrated. “You really are allergic to cats!”

“When the fuck did I become allergic to cats, Minho?”

“I don’t know! Maybe since birth,” he was unsure of his answer. But there was one thing he was sure of. “You literally sneeze horribly after cuddling the kids, Y/N. Now tell me that’s not an allergic reaction.” He crossed his arms at you.

“No! I don’t sneeze!” You denied. You don’t remember having any of those reactions after seeing any of your friends’ cats.

“Y/N,” Minho said in a quiet tone. He approached you, grabbing on to your shoulders as if he’s about to shake you out of your reverie. “You’re allergic to cats. Your eyes literally water so much after sneezing. And you say your nose itches a lot.”

You tried hard to think; only then did it click. It sometimes took you days to get over the sneezing after having a visit at Minho’s childhood house. But you never had those reactions when you cuddled some of your friends’ cats.

“But…” You suddenly looked sad as you looked for words to say. “I didn’t sneeze so much when I cuddled some of my friend's cats.”

“Y/N, they may have a cat that’s a hypoallergenic breed. Maybe someone in their family is allergic as well.” He calmly told you, letting you absorb this fact you’ve just realized.

Suddenly, everything felt like a lie. You were absolutely devastated with the news.

If there was one thing you loved that could rival your love for your boyfriend—slash fiancé—it was your love for cats. And for this information to only surface now, it upset you so much.

You could have accepted it if you found out about it in your childhood days; in that way you could have avoided cats. But you grew so attached to the creature, upon growing up, that you wanted to cry upon realizing now.

Actually, you really were crying now. “Hey, hey,” Minho hushed, as he pulled you into his arms.

The man wanted to tease you so much for suddenly crying, but he refrained himself from doing so. It was also how you cried that upset and saddened him as well. He saw how you were in love with cats—the same as he—and so he empathized you; because, he himself thought, that if he was the one who lately realized he had cat allergies, he’d be devastated. That means no Soonie, Doongie, and Dori for him. That thought almost made him cry.

“Come on, don’t cry now.” He gently hushed, brushing his fingers through your hair in comfort. “It’s still a hunch of mine; we can check with a doctor to see if it is true. If it really is, I’m sure it’s not a fatal one. It’s only sneezing, and you really didn’t have breathing problems or rashes—as far as I’ve observed, so I’m sure there’s still hope.” He comforted you.

You did find comfort in his words. Still, you really can’t help but be sad at this thought. “Was that why you always avoided the topic of us getting a cat at home?” You lift your head up from where it rested on Minho’s chest. Your tear-stained eyes looking at him questioningly.

“Uhm...Yeah, kind of.” He nervously chuckled.

You hit his chest. “And you didn’t bother telling me earlier.” You glared at him, kind of mad at how he only told you now.

“I’m sorry,” He chuckled lightly. “We’ll check in with a doctor tomorrow. And if it’s confirmed, we can get you a hypoallergenic breed.” He rested his forehead with yours.

You smiled at that. He knew how to make you smile, but then again, “But what about tonight? We’re supposed to see your parents and the kids.” You suddenly felt sad again. You really hoped to see Soonie, Doongie, and Dori after months of not being able to do so.

Minho thought for awhile. He missed his parents, and cats as well, so he really can’t miss out on the semi-annual visits. But he also can’t leave you all alone at home while he went back to his hometown.

“You can wear a mask. It can help so you don’t breathe some of the cat furs up close.” He suggested. “I really don’t want to leave you here alone.”

You smiled once more. “Sounds like a plan, then.” You left a short kiss on his lips as you two finally made your way out of the house, with Minho sending an apology to his parents how you two would be running late for dinner.

I actually started biasing vernon officially when I saw his radio interview with shua Years ago, where he was talking about his mom and his sister. It was so endearing to me the amount of love and kindness he exuded and I feel like it’s only gotten more and more intense as time has passed. And then of course I got to know him even more and loved everything, he’s so funny and talented. I wavered in stanning svt for a few years because I was so overwhelmed w life but tried to keep up with vernon regardless!

Did you see the rumoured BSS comeback?? I think I’ll DIE. And the vernon mixtape dropping soon too, I don’t know how to function with this news. This is an aside but I really love that the Vern teasers were red bc it’s one of my favourite colours!! What about you? Oh and! Are there any friendships you like or svt with other idols ? Oh! Is it the english interview from way back? I recently watched a few clips of it bc it came up on my recommended. My friend introduced svt to me when I was starting to explore kpop (I started with Day6) and she has a cat named Hansol so she told me about svt (and I kid you not! She made it easier to remember Bonon bc she said he looks like Tom Holland and I had a big crush on him back then) but bc there was so many members, I kinda put off stanning them until Darling came out (and a few GoSe edits YT recommended me). I kept up with him too bc I associate him with my friend and he’s good friends with Pentagon’s Kino 😂

As a multi I’m always on the lookout for svt/ptg/skz crumbs bc their my ults 😞💖 especially seventeen and pentagon! I adored their friendship since my pre-carat days— esp JunYan 🥺 I fell for Jun bc he took care of Yanan so well 😞 he’s so sweet and thoughtful when Yanan wasn’t feeling well. when he had to leave the show, Jun didn’t choose another partner bc he wanted to stay partnered to Yanan iirc (and smth about it being unfair for everyone) and I found it so brave and considerate of him like it made me cry 🥺 Junhui is many things but I’ll always remember him as a friend with a good heart bc of his friendship w/ Yanan.

And ofc MOLA gang! 😂 VerKino is the one idol to idol friendship I’ve known the longest bc of those Pentagon x other idol friendship threads and I saw so much VerKino interactions. I can totally understand that you would be nervous to meet anyone famous. Famous people usually did amazing things, which made them well known. But they are still people. Being famous is just a social construct. So I think in the end they are not that different from other people. They just did things that were special. Not trying to be rude or anything, just a thought. Of course they are very cool for all the things they did. 😊

And I like your choice too. If I could meet Franz Marc I would also liked to let him know that people respect his artworks now, and that they are worth a lot of money. I've read a book about him. When he had his first artworks publicly displayed people spit at his paintings and told him this was not art. That must have been very hard for him.

And it was not just him a lot of painter were treated badly while they were alive and now their artworks are worth millions. I just hope they know, that their art gets the respect they deserve now. Same goes for scientist who's ideas weren't believed in their time.

Yes, I definitely agree. I feel like artists bring so much joy to everyone's lives through whichever creative mediums they use (music, painting etc) but they rarely get the recognition or gratefulness for it - especially in the past. And gosh, don't even get me started on how many women used to get their scientific achievements cast aside or had the credit given to men instead - it's infuriating 😖

Oh I'm so glad that Mimi is making positive progress 🥺💕 She must be a very tough little gal! I admit, I had a little giggle at the thought of a little bunny terrorising an entire vet clinic 😅 At least if she's being cheeky like that then it means she's probably feeling at least a little better ☺️ I'm glad she's home now and I'll continue to keep my fingers crossed for a full recovery for the little bun soon! Oh gosh ummm well ideally I'd like to have figured out what I want to do with my career and either have a good job I like or be studying what I like. I also very much dream of meeting and marrying the love of my life, whoever they may end up being, and maybe having kids and definitely pets. Overall, I just want to be living a quiet, comfortable life, surrounded by warm and loving family and friends. I unfortunately still do struggle a lot with my mental health a lot so sometimes I struggle to see myself having any future at all. But I'm working on it and being surrounded by all the wonderful people (like you) that I am definitely helps ☺️
