Hello, I have more questions because after my last one, they are about the Duck lives au again.

1. When it gets to the Jane v Kenny moment, do you think Clem would still shoot Kenny, or would Duck shoot Kenny, or do you think they both wouldn't do it.

2. When it comes to weapons, Do you think Duck would prefer ranged weapons(guns/bows/crossbows) or melee weapons(blunt/bladed).

3. How do you think Duck will act during the Howes segments, because after I read "TWD but you choose what happens" fanfic on fanfiction.net, I can't stop seeing The blueberries scene(the one where Reggie dies in) where Duck is deliberately cutting off all the branches.

4. Do you think Duck would be able to find someone to love, like how Clem has Violet/Louis? Personally, I ship him with Mitch, mainly because I think Mitch would like Duck's energy, and Louis, because I think they would both like each others antics.

I HEART GETTING QUESTIONS :3

1. It would be Clem if it were to happen. In the au, the storyline follows the one where Kenny lives. But if Kenny were to be shot in the scene, it would be Clem. Duck could never shoot his dad

2. I think he would prefer blades and up-close combat

3. I think he would subtly be a menace to fuck with Carver a bit. He'd also want to help with the escape and prove to his dad he can look after himself but Kenny would make Clem do most of the dirty work because he still babies and views Duck as a defenseless kid

4. Personally, I don't ship Duck with anyone. But I can definitely see him getting along well with Mitch as well, they'd start off rocky because of Marlon's death and because Duck stands by Clementine and AJ like it's his lifeline. But overtime I can see them becoming relatively close.

Also, Louis and Duck would be an unstoppable force of pranks and bullshit. People dread seeing them together because they'll just yap and yap and yap together

I finally saw the new version of Salem’s Lot (available on Max). Overall, I liked it. Even tho it departs the most from the original book, it may be the best of the three adaptations.

The cast was good. I particularly liked Louis Pullman as Ben Mears. David Soul in the 1979 TV original had too much of an action hero vibe (when cast, he had just come off a 4 year stint on Starsky and Hutch). Rob Lowe in the 2004 remake was too much of a pretty boy. Louis Pullman came across as an Everyman who fell into a nightmare.

I also liked school teacher Matthew Burke, played by Bill Camp. His death came as a bit of a shock but of course he decided to go to the haunted house alone, just before sunset!

I thought Jordan Preston Carter as junior vampire hunter Mark Petrie was terrific. He had a kid vibe but probably somewhere on the autism spectrum. I loved that he was so determined to keep his promise to Danny Glick.

In the original novel, the vampire Barlow is initially described as charming, distinguished but unsettling. In other words a modern day Dracula. I was glad the 2024 version followed the lead of the 1979 version, making Barlow a creepy Nosferatu style vampire. Although 1979’s Reggie Nalter is more memorable that Alexander Ward’s 2024 version. Was Ward’s appearance enhanced with CGI?

Speaking of vampires, the vampire transformation were done well. I particularly liked Majorie Glick in the hospital morgue. First one shoe falls off, then an arm drops down, and she sits up eerily. And we don’t see what she looks like - we just see the sheet pulled tight against her face and fangs.

Although the glowing crosses were a bit over the top, the effect looked cool and I liked how violently the vampires were thrown back when confronted with one.

One of the biggest changes from the novel was the climax at the drive-in movie theater. With all the townspeople sleeping during the day in the trunks of their cars, it was a good way to get them all together in one place. In the novel Mike and Mark had to go house to house to flush them out… then later burn Salem’s Lot down to make sure they got all of them.

Despite my praise, I can see why the movie was delayed and not released in theaters. With no “name” stars it seemed to fit better in a TV format. This version definitely felt like it would have been rated PG13. Frankly the 2024 Salems Lot needed more blood… lots more blood.

Hi Gina! So, without mentioning the classics like Never Be,Unvelibers, Walk that mile, or Empty skies, I have two fics that I love to re-read. One is Giving a Chance, a cannon fic that I'm obsessed with it; it's exes to enemies to friends to lovers, always leaves me with a warm fuzzy feeling (Louis inner voice is the best!) . The other one, shorter but equally awesome, is Flash back to Me. I've read it so many times I lost count. It's an amnesia fic, but unlike the usual ones out there. Every time you read it, you can't help but have a smile on your face.

Did anything in particular inspire Louis's design?

Yes, quite a few things, actually. My primary source of inspiration is Reginald Von Lupin: the Big Bad Wolf (played by friggin' Malcolm McDowell of all people) from Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre. You can watch the full episode he stars in below. It's campy but very fun, and the scenes with Reggie are VERY blush-inducing, at least to me.

I really love this version of the wolf, but I'm also very iffy when it comes to vore involving real people and actors, which is why I made my own character heavily inspired by McDowell's performance and mannerisms here.

For my version of the Big Bad Wolf, I wanted to draw him closer to the humanoid wolfman you see in stage productions of Little Red Riding Hood and classic monster movies, rather than the anthro bipedal canine I see so many artists go with. Some of my favorite character designs are ones smack dab in the middle between human and beast (this applies to my favorite preds as well), so I leaned in the direction of Louis Garou being a werewolf with different forms depending on the scenario I was in the mood for.

Bigby Wolf from Fables/A Wolf Among Us is another major source of inspiration, with him being able to transform into a half-wolf as well as a full feral wolf.

The last one I want to mention here that definitely influenced Lou's design and backstory is Errol Ryehouse from The Adventure Zone podcast, a werewolf politician permanently stuck in a state between his human and wolf forms.

8. How did you get involved in your latest fandom? well, i was SUPER into the vampire chronicles as a young teen but i basically read iwtv -> TVA -> blood & gold and then stopped, cos i was mostly HUGELY into Armand and then Marius, and less bothered about the rest. then when iwtv (tv) came out, i was HUGELY into it, but i wasn't back on tumblr back then so i just kinda squeed in my own head? so when i found out s2 was airing (i'd missed like 3 eps i think??) i just finally got into the fandom proper! and having Armand there now just gave me all the impetus i needed to start making things heh. god i love him so much... needless to say young teen me HATED the casting choice from the original film LOL

Yvette was curled up on the couch in the backroom of the hardware store. When Louis had first offered to let her hide out there whenever she needed to get away from everything, she hadn't been sure how much she was going to take advantage of it, but now she was spending most afternoons there. She felt a little guilty about it, but it wasn't like her husband was even going to notice that she wasn't at home.

"You know, it's said that families who lose a child either get much closer together or they fall apart entirely," she mused out loud, staring into the middle distance and idly twirling her wedding ring around as she spoke. "I know which one we are. I've known for a while. But it's like, I don't want to admit that to myself, because this wasn't how it was supposed to be for us. This wasn't how our lives were supposed to go."

She shook her head. "And I feel terrible, because I love Reggie but I can't stand to be around him," she continued, turning to face Louis on the couch. "I can't stand to be in that house anymore. It doesn't feel like home without Riley in it. It..." She sighed. "It's a building where I wake up and exist with a man who used to be my husband and who doesn't seem to care whether or not I'm there. And I might as well not be, you know? I might as well be alone. Because I already am alone. I have nothing. I have no one."

Julian Alexander Dupree-Sanchez (born late ‘96) - He has a sharp tongue like Millie but has a big heart like Caroline. I haven’t thought deeper into it since me and @disneymbti just started talking about their octopulets but later, I’ll create distinct personalities and remake a post.

Miguel Ryan Dupree-Sanchez - He’s very kind, sometimes to the point where he’s oblivious when people are being mean. That doesn’t mean he’ll let people walk all over him though. He’s also gay and proud of it.

Beatriz “Bee Bee” Jody Dupree-Sanchez - Bee is very smart and intuitive. She’s very good at reading people and knows how to cheer people up. She loves bubblegum pop and the pop punk aesthetic. Her dream is to be a musician.

Mariana “Mary” Caroline Dupree-Sanchez - Mary comes off as a ditz but is actually super intelligent. She’s gets straight A’s and loves to exercise.

Lula "Lulu" Julia Mitchell (early '96) - She loves fiercely and is brave like her mom. Lulu loves candy to the point where she wants to make her own and sell it. Also, she's a lesbian who's into hyper feminine women.

Kira Amaya Kwan (late '98) - Kira is a calm and easygoing young woman with patience on her fingertips and a old soul spirit. She's really good at helping animals and making people feel comfortable around her. She loves rose scents perfumes and the smell of lavender and ocean. Her dream is to be a author.

Cleo Joy-Martelli (mid '99) - Cleo is a bold and confident young woman with a dreamy outlook of the world and has a charm with her in her bones. She's really good at giving hugs to people she loves the most and singing songs with her band. She loves the smell of smoke and lavender and playing her music out loud to people. Her dream is to be a world famous Broadway singer.

Anne-Marie Lauren Kelso (early '99) - She's a huge bookworm and loves to read, to the point her friends and siblings tease her (basically a Rory Gilmore). Every day, she comes to the library after school (present day, she works there). Oh yeah, Jonah is her Logan :)

Margot "Margie" Anne Kelso (early '99) - She's very quick witted and uses a lot of dry humor, similar to Red. But does have a good heart. Her dream is to be an artist and is currently taking art course as of present.

Elizabeth "Lizzie" Kristina Kelso (early ‘99) - She loves acting and majored in drama.

Arnold James Barnes (early ‘95) (based off of Jesse Kelso, @tht70sblog’s oc) in a way, except way less redeemable)- The school delinquent who got held back more than one can count. He was Anne-Marie’s boyfriend. He’s known to cause trouble and hurt people with no remorse. He was mostly raised by Ryland Barnes. His mom, Sophie, isn’t really in his life that much. Margie and Lizzie were against Anne-Marie dating him, mostly because he was 18 and she was still 15 at that point. After being sent to juvenile detention for theft, he dumped Anne-Marie via letter.

Julia Johnson (early-ish ‘99) - She’s very smart and suspicious. Kinda like the moral compass in a way. Julia is a creative and passionate young woman with a fierce heart and a bold fashion sense in her outfits. She's really good at designing outfits and not listening to people's mean words about her. She loves watching Aubrey Hepburn movies and the smell of perfume and vanilla in the air. Her dream is to be a fashion designer.

😊 SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES — what are your oc’s career/general life desires? what do they want to get the most out of life?

At the moment, Tabi doesn't really know what she wanna do with her life. She doesn't even know why she decided to study psychology (it just seemed interesting). All that she knows, is that she intends to spend the rest of her life with Marie, and maybe have a family with her. But most of all, she wants her family to be happy, and enjoy spending time with them for many decades to come.

🤔 THINKING FACE — what are some of your oc’s quirks/mannerisms?

She speaks very quickly, often using her hands to accompany her discourse, very tactile, will threaten to kick someone ass at least twice a day (and mean it).

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 FAMILY WITH MOTHER, FATHER, SON AND DAUGHTER — how many people are in your oc’s immediate family? how many people are in your oc’s extended family? do they have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? who in their family are they closest with? are they close with their birth family, or do they have a found family?

She has both of her parents, and an older half-sister (Agena). Through Agena, she also has five nephews/nieces (Alfie, twins Castula & Reggie, Paul-Louis, and Alaria). She and Alfie are the same age, and very good friends. Her girlfriend, Marie, incidently, is Alfie's paternal aunt, which would actually make them his aunts twice if they married, I guess? She's not that close with her sister (due to the fact that their mother abandoned Agena at birth, while Tabi got to spend all her life with their mom, which Agena is kinda jealous of). She ADORES her niece Castula, who is very much like her. Reggie she finds boring and a bit too serious, as for P-L and Alaria, they are still too young for her to have a reason to dislike them - and they are too cute, anyway, to not love them. From her mother's side, she has grandparents: Alaria (yes, her niece was named after her), and Martin. Her father's parents died when he was young, and she never knew them. She's not close with her grandma who's an old-fashion (=read homophobic) woman who doesn't approve of her sexuality, but she loves her grandpa who is way more open.

The top one, is Alfie Dubois, my main OC's (Agena Black) elder son. Under, are townies Malcolm Landgraab and Wolfgang Munch. I don't think I need to present Mal nor Wolfie, but here are a few titbits about Alfie:

-his dad's died before his birth; the only father he knew was his mom's second husband, Terry; -he has four half-siblings: twins Castula & Reggie, whose father is Terry, and Paul-Louis and Alaria, whose father is Simon, Agena's latest boyfriend; -if asked what his gender is, he would say that he doesn't know, but that he is neither a boy nor a girl; -he's gay (he discovered it when he was 12/13); he currently is dating Kiyoshi Ito (even if their relationship is rather rocky atm, mainly due to Kiyoshi's jealousy); -like his mother, he's a fervent gardener and studies biology, hoping to become a botanist some day; -other than Mal, Wolfie, and Kiyoshi, his other friends are Cassandra Goth, Morgan Fyres, his half-aunt Tabitha (Agena's half-sister), and her girlfriend Marie (his other aunt, the younger sister of his late father, Cédric).

I'll show more about those boys (who, really, are men, now) in the future; as I said, I love them a lot.
