no literally how is lottie the scary one. how can ppl say that im sobbing actually. girl was WILLING to be EATEN. all she did was try to help the yj in the wilderness AND outside when they came to her and she SAVED our girlie nat!!!

and her face when she saw shaunas daughter. her softness. her going ‘is this your daughter’ SHE IS SO CARING. she doesnt want power she wants the support she never got from her parents and shes just trying to be there for everyone!!

if lottie matthews was who they were trying to say she is. she would not have had that reaction to someone who just SHOT her!!!

she was THE stability out there she kept them together, and was even good enough for tai to come back and rely on her. and she helped so many other ppl when she got out too! who cares if it did give cult. cant a girl run a cult in peace??

the only thing lottie has done is introduce the girls to therapy methods. she helped the girls feel the first bit of peace and hope they’d had since the crash. their own trauma is what twisted it into a religion, not lottie.

lottie didn’t ask them to hunt each other. lottie didn’t ask them to worship her. lottie has always just tried to help.

The more the show progresses, the more I want to see the 90s cast infiltrating the modern timeline. We've gotten hints of it with Shauna and her younger self, her Jackie hauntings. We've gotten a little more with adult Lottie seeing teenage Nat (and Laura Lee), and with Natalie getting teenage Lottie in her final moments. I want more. I want the teen cast to be absolutely invasive on pivotal adult moments, infecting their adult counterparts when least expected. I want Taissa's argument with Van to dissolve into their teenage selves, their bond endless and timeless and inescapable. I want Misty absolutely wrecked by young Natalie lurking around corners, watching from mirrors. I want to see these women unable to navigate adulthood without the specters of their teenage selves cropping up absolutely everywhere, more and more as they let the memories in, as they stop being able to repress the trauma. They didn't grow up. They never could. You are always doomed to regress around your high school teammates. You are haunted by the phantom elements of your misspent youth. It is a comfort, and it is a gift, and it is a trial, and it is a curse. I would love to see that reflected with greater intensity, until the lines blur, until the timelines have no choice but to intersect. They haven't escaped themselves at all. They didn't grow up. They just got older.

there’s some very evil part in my brain that’s telling me current taivan scenes might be a hallucination….

van was literally supposed to be killed off in the crash. and she’s managed to survive all this damn time😭 girl CANT be killed. but terminal cancer. it would kinda be weirdly poetic surviving everything and your body just working against you.. but i completely understand the wilderness thing. but, what? van is now just at tais house in new jersey?? what about her shop?? (i understand the lack of care if she’s dying tho)

so did simone just completely leave and take sammy?? it makes zero sense for tai to only have scenes with van when she’s back home. her wife is literally recovering from a car accident. and where is her son. is there a nanny or what😭 i’m confused.

i’m just imagining van getting worse and she’s actually at tais house and she’s taking care of her….. i’m gonna throw up. and i’ve seen cast interviews and they all said that we’re losing beloved character/s this season…. could be van.

at this point the teen yjs whole spring frolicking with the animals is also a fucking hallucination. they absolutely did not survive the winter without eating someone else, a timeskip to spring without someone else dying? this show is so dark and i am struggling to believe it. not my show 🙂‍↔️☝️
