When Tom started to feel like himself again, he looked for Lee but ended up learning the horrible truth; you and Lee actually got married just a few months after you divorced his brother and lived together for quite some time. Tom and Lee get into a horrible physical fight over you because it’s clear to Tom that this is why his brother left town, to be with you and be able to keep it a secret. When things settle down, Lee confesses that it didn’t really worked out between the two of you neither and got divorced as well and now the two men share the pain of having lost you.
