Hello :) What are somethings you hope to read about in about Sally’s Lament?

Hi!! I feel like I've answered this question before, but I can't find anything on my blog as of the moment. :/

I have yet to read any of the other Disney Twisted Tales books, but I'm hoping to see a 'darker' take on Nightmare's story, and to possibly see Krampus as an antagonist (because what other 'dark' take could there be to Christmas Town? Besides what Zero's Journey showed us, haha.)

I am also intrigued to see a canonical Alternate-Universe take to the Jack X Sally ship, to see how they get together in circumstances that isn't Jack taking over Christmas. Will Sally tell Jack of her discovery of Christmas Town, and spend more time with him researching it together? Will Jack realize her feelings for him before the very last second, or will she be able to tell him beforehand? I hope they'll have more time together than they did in the movie. To see them having more conversations and being the dear friends that they are prior to their confessions. I'm iiitttching to find out!!

Also, with the difference in story, I'm curious as to how or if Oogie Boogie will be present in the book? And if Lock, Shock, and Barrel are going to kidnap Santa Claus or not...what will their roles be otherwise? I know they've GOT to be in the story either way, and I'm eager to see how they'll be incorporated when it's Sally's discovery!

I have soooo many questions and theories that I'm on the edge of my seat for this book! October can't come soon enough!

This concept has been haunting my brain since december started I needed to materialize it

I have a headcanon that Krampus is the Ministry equivalent of Santa; while his job is usually to punish children, he gives gifts to kids in the Ministry since they won't be visited by St. Nick. When Secondo and Terzo were little Primo would dress up as Krampus and give them gifts because Nihil could never be bothered. Secondo always saw right through it but played along because Terzo 100% believed it was the real deal.

That's fun! I wouldn't do that, which is why I like it!
