How do you feel about Milsiril? Like what do you think of her interactions between the canaries, her goals, her intentions and morality? I keep seeing people with mixed feelings about her, some saying she's just toxic or morally grey or doing bad but with good intentions or that she's just a mentally ill and literally so much more, also with the comic about Otta calling Milsiril love for her children/Kabru as just love for a pet, I always saw people take it at face value and say yes, Milsiril did love them more as pets instead of children, did she take up raising/adopting non-elf children because she felt like none of them could ridicule her like the elves did because they didn't know what an elf was supposed to be like (and also because they were children) or did she inherently view them as less? I mean the canaries and I'm pretty sure almost all of the cast in dungeon meshi have some sort perspective on different races especially because how they were taught about them, i just think it was interesting to finally see someone interpret it as Otta just misinterpreting Milsiril, I'm just really interested in her, i think shes neat, sorry for the rant!

Ooh, well to preface this, I hadn't really realized Milsiril was such a controversial character before my last post, I kinda live under a rock. She's really not a character I had given much thought besides what I wrote there before it, but I can do my best to express what I have thought since, with sources for it. I'm not sure what order to go thru so I'll just go by manga appearances and then extras, this will probably be quite a long post

This is the first time she shows up in the manga (ch55) Kabru is wondering about what future they might have if the elves take them into custody because of the ancient magic, he thinks about Milsiril as a get out of jail card, and mentions "There's a chance they would make us become permanent resident of the elven lands." with the image of Milsiril holding him. I don't think that means she would be the one to not let them leave, since this would probably be an legal issue, and the fact Milsiril lives away from other Elves. It does set up that Milsiril is quite overprotective tho, with Kabru's reaction to her teary hug. (rest is under a cut)

The next time she shows up is in ch61 right after Kabru falls down the dungeon along with Mithrun, he faints and has this flashback

She's being her overbearing self treating Kabru's small injury as if its something you need to be in bed for, hand feeding him like he's a toddler, and when he insists he wants to learn how to fight and be strong like her, she hugs him revealing to us for the first time her arm scars, she's cleary in distress too, so you wonder "what has happened to her?"

It continues in the next pages, as she tells him to stay there, where it's safe and there's cake, and describes the bad things he might encounter. Until he tells her he will go with or without her help

Honestly this is a Kabru we don't see often, this is the version of him that is usually in thought bubbles, he's blowing out in frustation over being smothered and demanding straight up what he wants, instead of trying to manipulate Milsiril, very blunt for him. Milsiril seems to flip a switch into battle mode, when she decides to train him for real.

I really thought this was funny, the visual of these cuddly toys and this Mom that was being so soft just a second ago completely flipping into something menacing is very amusing to me. She says "I'll give you an exhaustive, thorough training in how to use a sword... until you finally decide that you're ready to give up." although it sounds cruel, it seems she really trained him as best she could to make sure he would survive the dungeon. If he couldn't take the training with her there was no way he would be able to take on the dungeon, but he could, so much so that he managed to make her let him go. I can see this being seen as her trying to prevent him from going but to me it seems more like some tough love from a traumatized war veteran in this case.

The last thoughts he has is admitting his Mom was right, "Not only were there plenty of traps, monsters, and malice... but there were times when I felt so hungry and cold that I couldn't stand it."

And he concludes with "I never once thought that I wanted to go back there. That room where I could eat all the cake that I wanted..." While I can understand the interpretation that he means he would rather go thru all this than go back, perhaps cause he hated it there, I think it's rather a statement to how committed he is to defeating the dungeon, the visuals show him in rubble vs him in a soft big bed, the rough reality he fought to be able to face and the comfyness of what his life could be. Plus is mirroring exactly what Milsiril said to him. Admitting she was right about the bad things but that he won't give up for the safe easy life he had.

After that visuals of Milsiril are used while Kabru tries to sus out Mithrun but she shows up again in Mithrun's backstory.

Here she's straight up called Gloomy, which wasn't really the version of her we saw so far, gotta remember this is also how Mithrun saw her and that she was called gloomy as a way of bullying. Kabru mostly cuts off her part in the story until the end, when she's the one to find Mithrun after he was eaten by the demon

She doesn't really care much for Mithrun as we see in some extras, and she was ready to mercy kill him, but she is also the one to spare his life. This could be seen as her thinking he can still be of use, and it's how it sounds with how Kabru tells the story, but I do think this was also a merciful act, Mithrun was in rehabilitation for 20 years after being saved, by the time he was actually useful for anything Milsiril had already left the canaries and adopted Kabru.

Now for extras... About Mithrun/The Canaries, Milsiril was cleary someone that hated the people around her. This is her extra in the Adventurer's Bible

Milsiril seems to be the type that hates "popular kids" so to say, her description says she was bullied by other elves for being so introverted so I believe she holds a grudge against people like Mithrun that seem to have succeeded where she failed. But realizing he was a twisted person like her seemed to make her feel more sympathetic towards him, that's why I think she really did act with mercy when she saves Mithrun, he's now someone she sees as similar to her, she sees he also suffered like her

Her decription also mentions she left the canaries specifically because she was disgusted with how the Utaya situation was dealt with. Yet it seems like she came back to help Mithrun with his rehabilitation once she quits.

There's an interpretation to be made that she did this only to get "revenge" on the demon since she just saw the destruction of Utaya, and that she's using him. On the other hand maybe she wants to help him find a motivation to live, she's no longer a canary and she has time to actually help him now. I don't know which one is the truth but it's not obviously something self-serving if you ask me. Especially in the context that right before this scene Milsiril admits she wishes they could have talked before.

My interpretation of her relationship with the canaries and other elves is that she's someone depressed that was mistreat for her 'quirky' side, the dolls are clearly one of the ways she used to cope with anxiety/depression but it only caused her to be bullied by her own kin, she's the daughter of an important family and it's shown in other extras, including one about Mithrun, that nobles often send out the kids they don't want around to become canaries. It's an easy way to get rid of someone undesirable and I think it was the case for Milsiril. (Pattadol even assumes her parents love her less than her sisters for sending her to join the canaries).

No wonder than that now that she's finally free from the canaries she chose to seek her own happiness away from the society she felt she could never fit into, she clearly likes to take care of children too, I think it's mean to assume she only likes them because she feels superior to them when there's no indication that this is the case.

And I don't think it's a coincidence she's so overprotective of Kabru after Utaya, it's literally the tragedy that was the breaking point for her, and he's a surviving small child from that tragedy, Milsiril cares about Kabru and wanted him to have a comfortable safe life after everything he went thru...

This ended up getting way too long so I'll make second part tomorrow about the rest of the extras and Kabru, and some other things I've seen said about Milsiril, but to answer the questions...

I don't think she treats her children as pets, Otta is just salty she was called out for dating like Leo Dicaprio.

Every single dungeon meshi character can be called morally grey because they all have flaws that in our world can be considered unforgivable, but they don't live in our world. To me Milsiril is doing her best in the context she lives in.

Who even is neurotypical in dungeon meshi, Milsiril is yet another flavour of a neurodivergent traumatized character among so many.

I believe she thought of the other canaries, especially Mithrun, as the same type of people that were cruel to her, probably because some of them really were, but that she generalized it to the point she thinks of all of them as bad by default. You can only get hurt so many times before you assume everyone will hurt you.

DOMINATOR: dawdle, name change suggested by @/kradeiz. i love it so much.

she is not 1000 years old, she is not a legend. she is just some immature woman who stole a hat. because she likes to take things 💚 she was down on her luck after fleeing her old galaxy for hat crimes, so wander helped her and quickly realized someone needs to keep her out of trouble. wander worries a lot for her when she goes off on her own.

she is selfish and tends to "look out for number one". she doesn't understand being told "no" and thinks, well i want it, so its mine.

when you watch episode "the prisoner", you don't get the sense that wander is being cruel in the episode. but if dom did the same thing, she would be laughing at him. if hater confessed his love to her, she is still laughing her ass off. she is a force of chaos more than anything.

WANDER: even while taking og!sylvia's role as a "toughguy", he is still 1000s years old and "the legend". he is wander the travelling hero who has saved many planets from villains, and will always lend a helping hand to those in need.

he is small but a good fighter that can take down a big opponent with tricks. wander and dawdle travel on his motorcycle, with which he has beaten many villains by challenging them to a race. wander offers a defeated villain his mercy, he still reforms people, its a bit of tough love ^_^ on the bike, dom holds onto his back or later he gets her a sidecar.

wander doesn't like to leave dawdle alone, he is always thinking of worst case scenarios

SYLVIA: "lady haymaker"! but i will still call her sylvia.

watchdogs had a lightning on their hats to match hater, so sylvia's army have a feather on their helmets to match her! the knight theming came from this. plus she is like a big dragon, so knights seem thematically appropriate. all she needs is a princess. her army call her "milady" instead of sir, and dawdle might call her "lady".

she is similar to og!hater in that her rage gets the best of her, so she wrecks her own plans often. why does she want planets? i guess she deserves some respect after always being shoved down by her family.

lady sylvia is bigger than normal, so she is taller than both hater and dom while standing up!! she needs an extra power, too, so she has fire breath!

dawdle is super annoying, she needs to be stopped, and stop saying we are friends and stop trying to ride my back. but maybe we can harness her chaos and use it for evil.

HATER: "sir hater". sylvia's minions are little skeletons called boneheads, but hater gets to be second in command because he is the biggest and strongest. his incompetence ruins things just as often... i originally thought, "they are like pinky and the brain," where sylvia is more competent and its hater who brings her down. but really, its more fun if they are both failing in different ways.

hater is bossed around by sylvia because she is bigger than him. he takes great pride in representing the army, being the best at what he does and being told "good job". it hasn't occurred to him that he could get recognition elsewhere, he wouldn't even know where to begin as a solo villain.

yupppp he likes dom. how conflicting, he's battling a lot of emotions when he's assigned to go capture and destroy her. she can often just talk him out of it bugs bunny style, running mental laps around him. she treats him cruelly and just finds the whole thing very funny.

PEEPERS: lord peepers.. maybe he should have a cooler name but i like to keep it simple. it takes a lot for me to change names lol.

he made it to the top due to being smart and nerd brain. i have the least to say about him because... you get it right? you can look at him and understand everything. its peepers if he was successful as a solo villain like he always wanted to be.

his suit is a big robot that he pilots, and its the big reveal that he's just a little guy in there.

i said this before, but sylvia does not want him. plots from the show about hater wanting dominator, can be supplemented by dawdle trying to be his friend. she thinks he is sooo cute and doesn't understand why she can't do whatever she wants. that's why she goes into his ship in this version of "my fair hatey" and they have to rescue her

SIDE CHARACTERS?????

the way i did the main characters was by lining them up in order of screentime and shifting to the right. there needs to be an end of the list so that the last character can swap to the front. i like that no one "trades" with eachother one-for-one like most swap AUs do, it changes the dynamics between characters more dramatically!

so if i wanted to add side characters, i'd pick the next group of 5 (or more or less) by screentime and do the same thing. i'm not a big side characters girlie tho, i prefer to only focus on the main characters, so i was not rly concerned with this at all lol. but there is a "right" way to do it, and i don't rly want to calculate all dat

(the only side characters i really like are major threat and emperor awesome)

Annie suddenly feels a twinge of irritation when she sees Pieck say something to Armin and they laugh together. Or maybe Armin overhears gossip about how Annie Leonhart and Connie Springer look so cute together. The next time he sees Connie, his stomach twists. And it's terrible!

Considering how Armin and Annie both have self-esteem issues...well, I can see how that could happen. Irritation, doubt, jealousy, and self-loathing for feeling that way about a friend. it's just painful, stupid and awkward. I have no idea how they will solve this😗

Because of-fucking-course there's nobody more capable of causing problems for Aruani off more than their very own family xD If you ask me, outsiders don't have the type of talent the other four have in creating misunderstandings and unnecessary chaos xD Plot-required-3rd-party-love-interest who? Move over, here's Connie the Springer man!

At first it's all quite unintentional. Connie spends time with Annie because Circumstances and Coincidence and hardly notices Armin's watery puppy eyes gazing at him from a depressing corner. It's not like Armin ever says anything out loud either because of course, he's happy! He's happy Annie has a silly friend that makes her laugh and forget that she's awkward and possibly frightening around people. He's glad Connie comes prepackaged with a whole lot of shitty jokes that happen to tickle her. He's really fucking glad Connie treats Annie like he treats everyone else!

But. Connie can also... dance. Really well. Like the guy's got those moves and can easily take Annie for a nice spin. He also... makes her laugh, like... a lot? A lot lot? Hm.. has Annie ever laughed like that with me? Uh... yeah, nevermind that, um- oh god, Connie's been looking pretty nice lately in those suits and he's rather good with the whole easy-fashion thing and uh- well shit, it's Connie, he's my friend, he's not- no, I mean, that photo in the newspapers was just an accidental shot, of course Annie was just laughing at his bad joke but well... she did look really happy with him and, oh shit--

Pieck on the other hand, doesn't fuck with people more than necessary. I don't actually see her getting *too* close with Armin but they do become very good friends! They have a lot in common, (for example music) and vibrate on the same atomic level of "yeah this is wrong and backhanded and probably will get us arrested in 18 countries but lets do it hehe". Hc that they probably get off to a slightly rocky start as Pieck doesn't put much faith in Armin's "naivete" and harbours resentment for his blowing up of Liberio's port, but as time goes by, they grow closer!

Maybe... too much closer for someone's liking 💀

Because okay? Annie gets it, she finds politics too boring and her takes end up being too cynical and skeptical in the room. Technically, she's glad Armin has someone in Pieck who will humour his ideas with a generous (but nice) dash of realism. Also, they enjoy picking out records together and she often finds them nodding their heads to a new tune once home.

She's glad, okay?

On a serious note, both Aruani are going to feel like total crap about this jealousy tho. Tbh the extra funny bit about this is gonna be when Connie and Pieck realize what they're doing to their poor lemonheads xD

we waited in ashley's queue after seeing laura but it was taking a while and they had to leave for lunch, then photo ops. when we did see her, we had been in the queue for a while because she likes to spend time with people, so the nerves that i was feeling at the beginning kind of dissipated. i was still super nervous to meet her, because she's ashley johnson, but my back and legs were hurting from standing in the queue for so long, so that kind of took my mind off of it a little.

my friend went before me in the queue and got my fearne print signed by her, and i was getting the same print signed too. so when it was my turn, she was like "ohh, that person had this print too" and i was like "yeah i drew it" and she looked so shocked(?) lmao. she was like "you did?! oh my god, it's beautiful!"

i mentioned how much i loved ellie and how much the last of us means to me, and she looked so touched. she stopped signing for a moment to listen to me, with the softest smile on her face. she is very good at keeping you in conversation, so much so that i completely forgot to gift her the extra fearne print that i brought for her.

i did give her the dice that i brought for her though, and she looked so excited. i started saying “i’m sure you receive so many dice but-“ and before i could finish, she interrupted me and said "NO, LAURA GETS ALL THE DICE!" which i thought was hilarious. we played rollies and i got a nat 1 and she got a 4. i also got to hear the signature ashley johnson quote “its caaacked” in person because my dice was slightly tilted off the paper.

i also completely forgot to ask for a selfie, because... well. she's ashley johnson. i was lowkey ascending into another dimension.

as for sam, i had met him before a couple times, during our group and single photo op, but for the autograph he came immediately after ashley. during our photo op, i wore the cursed sam mask that was given out during the live show prank, and he laughed and called it horrifying. i didn't realize, but during our photo he was pulling a face at me because i wore the mask, and it makes me laugh every time. (also, as we were waiting, he introduced himself to every single person taking a photo with him, which i find very funny. sir, we are literally here for you. we paid for this.)

for the sam autograph, on all the other tables i went to, they had you talk to someone beforehand to tell them your name and any autograph personalizations you wanted, so they could write it down on a post-it to make it easier for the talent. however, with sam's, it was a little different. the person helping him out asked for my name, and instead of writing it down he personally introduced me to sam himself. it immediately relaxed me, for some reason. it didn't feel like i was meeting a celebrity (even though i had already met him briefly during the photo ops.) he shook my hand and said, jokingly, "wow, i've never seen this before" about my fcg print. (i had tweeted at him a couple months ago with the print i was going to get signed at mcm, and he responded "cant wait".)

we made conversation about the live show. sam is very soft-spoken irl. he took his time with my autograph and we chatted about the flat white with vanilla please prank on marisha. he said it's very fun to bully her lol. he then took a second to look at the fcg print, and said that it's really cool and he loves the design. i had a spare in my bag, so i offered it to him. he said "oh, i don't want to take it from you, so only if you're sure" which was just. the sweetest. i gave him the print and he was very gracious and shook my hand again.

sorry, this got long lol. i had so much fun meeting them and they truly made everyone feel so welcome and loved. i could talk about my experience at mcm and the live show until the end of time.

so this world is a cyber/dystopian setting with a very heavy class-based system. instead of a physically Up/down thing that is seen in a lot of media, its moreorless inn vs outerskirts of the same region. the further out you go the "worse" it gets. Lets introduce our mcs.

Lacey Pines (she/they), a oficcer/guard who despite works in the "inner" part of the city, lives in the outskirts. She (along with many other officers on her level) do not get paid much and often turn to corruption and such. we didnt develop that system too much which is something we'll end up doing prolly soon.

Next we have Millie Pines(she/her) Lacey's estranged older sister. She is sort of an etrperener.ent.entreprenour?? whatever. oh but little do the people know shes an ASSASIN!?!?!?!?!? heh hell yeah. As a kid she was taken from her family. she still remembers them, but her thinking was also sort of manipulated by the people who took her.

quick note on that!! their father was HEAVY into debt and officers/debt collectors were threatening to take their home and arrest the father along with it, swearing to doom the rest of the family. Their mother ends up striking a deal- giving away one of their children to the high-standing guard training facility. Theres this big boss guy that takes millie under his wing i dont remember him at ALL i think he was a character from the og piece of media this entire thing was based off of but that wont do anymore so we'll fix him later. He's like. a horrible person but like. father figure. i guess? Millie continues to call him "father"

Well, she does also realize how bad all this shit is but she stays on the morally-grey side. She just does her job. ot doesn't matter who- it could be a huge ceo or someblady who wanta to kill her husband because he cheated. doesnt matter at. all.

Next we have riley!!! (he/him) he is ALSO an assassin but he's a resident of the outskirts who hides out in the inner city. He is also simultaneously a decently big name in the inner city being somewhat of a sports star!! there was this underground sports thing I don't remember at ALL but he was. really good at that. rich people from the inner city would come to see it a lot (cough cough millie). he's just a silly lad. Lil guy if you will.

Lucky(she/he) is a thief (we didn't develop her story much...💔💔💔) ...infact. there's not a lot on her which is sad cuz I love her.

"Hi, love!" I beam, hugging him from behind.

Dream, who had just finished doing his round of tasks, tenses before he relaxes. I feel him release a sigh as his palms rest on my arms, "hello, my dreamer."

When he moves to turn, he, at first, tries to hold me back from pulling away. He is pacified upon realizing I meant to take only a few steps back. His otherwise blank expression cracks when he notices I was dressed up more than usual. His hands slip into mine.

"Don't I look extra cute today?" I give a Cheshire cat grin.

His lips curve upward. He pulls me forward and nods, "you are an exquisite creature."

I chuckle and cup his cheeks with my hand, "thank you, Mr. Sandman."

I watch him hold back an eyeroll as he releases a breath.

I laugh once more and rub down his arm, "right, we should get going."

Dream doesn't move a fraction from where he stood even though I pull him by the arm. Instead, topple all the way back into his chest and grunt.

He and I lock eyes. He furrows his brows, "are we going somewhere?"

I shoot him a confused look.

He outdoes my expression with his own.

I cannot mask my chuckle, but I play it off, "of course we're going somewhere! Don't tell me you forgot."

He does not respond for a moment, then betrays himself by clearing his throat too loudly, "remind me again where we are going, my dear?"

My dear. I hold back a laugh by biting my lip. I up the theatrics with a pout, "Dream..."

He is immediately on the defensive. He places his hands on my shoulders and shakes his head, "I had much to do. I merely need to jog my memory."

I start feeling bad because of how his teary blue eyes look.

"Do you remember what day it is?"

"Day is a mortal concept," he blurts a bit too instantly.

"... so you don't remember?"

Dream doesn't put up much of a fight after. He flakes the instant a sigh leaves his lips, "no. I do not remember what day it is, nor making any plans with you this day. I apologise, my love."

He defeatedly hangs his head and leans his forehead against mine. When his arms snake around me, it feels as though a dark cloud forms overhead. I pout through a chuckle and embrace him right back. I feel absolutely dreadful, "baby boy, I-"

"I swear to you, it is not my intention to-"

"Honey, no-" I pull away.

He repels me, "no, don't."

"Lovie!" I whisper, pulling back to caress his cheeks, "it's ok!" I pout, "it's all good. It's fine."

Dream is visibly dejected.

"Baby, don't worry. It was a joke. A really bad one at that, but I didn't mean it to be!"

His brows knit, "what?"

I purse my lips and brush his black hair back, "it was meant to be a funny-ha-ha prank..." I swipe his lips with my thumb before kissing them. I make a guilty expression, "I didn't think you'd be so... distraught about it."

Dream soaks in these works before cautiously wording, "does... this mean I did not... forget any engagement with you?"

I titter, "no, my lord. I was just trying to be funny."

He releases a breath of relief. His shoulders release its tension, "I could inspire your jokes, if you'd like."

I break into a laugh and shake my head, "no. I think I'm-"

"So," he furrows his brows in sudden realization, "you tricked me for your amusement?"

I open my mouth but find myself stuttering when he appears more sullen than he was moments ago, "it was meant to be a jo-"

"Well, I find no amusement in it," he frowns then pulls away.

"N- now, hold on. Dream. Don't be like that. Dream. Don't walk away! Honey! Please."

The thinf you said about the mafia au and dynamics being unlocked is so true, another thing that I really liked about this chapter is the Opera/Ameri rivalry dynamic they have going and I find it really fun!! It's so different from what we're used to seeing from them (actually I don't remember if they've actually interacted that much in the original) (but them being rivals and fighting each other is so fun!!!! I love it)

YEAH even down to its bones the way characters are being presented is very different from the main series! Azz azz’s loyalty to Iruma taking multiple chapters, the age and manner in which Iruma meets Sullivan, Opera and Irumas dynamic being more sibling/partnerish than canon etc BUT it all feels true to the characters i think! Iruma still loves his family and is willing to do anything (even the impossible) to help them, love trio is still together with secrets between them, Kalego and Opera still have their beef)

THE OPERA AND AMERI DYNAMIC is sooo tasty omg…both are so protective (and a tad possessive) of Iruma! Plus they’ve both grown with him and protected him in the different eras of his childhood! It’ll be fun to see them squabble in the future. I’ve always compared their designs as two red/orangey demons with fuzzy ears, both strong and both people who are close to Iruma, so its extra fun to see them as rivals.

Mm yeah they’re sorta an underrated dynamic! Iruma kun has soo many characters to juggle, its easy to forget who and when characters meet. Thank you for the excuse to gather up their major interactions^^

Chapter 70: Walter Park

She’s in Opera’s group during the Walter park arc! They have fun playing dress up along with the misfit girls.

Chapter 81: Invincible Maiden

Ameri fights a mouse beast during the terrorist attack; Opera observes and compliments her bloodline ability.

When Ameri is discouraged, Opera encourages her, assures her shes quite strong with room to grow and even invites her to be a sort of assistant under them within the Sullivan household. I think this is an extremely high compliment! Opera’s a demon who’s been shown to be very protective of both Sullivan and Iruma, and who finds value and purpose in being able to serve them, so wanting Ameri to work with them shows a lot of respect and admiration toward her ability and person

(She turns down this request but then realizes this would mean she’d be around Iruma so she backtracks its very cute)

Chapter 143: Heartful Cooking Lesson

Opera teaches Iruma and Ameri how to cook after noticing they’re both terrible at it.

Chapter 167: The Sound of Anticipation

This one is small but I think its funny how they both set up to record the Misfits’s performance cuz they both love and support Iruma 110%! And Opera shuffling Ameri’s equipment over implies she’s got the best angle in the house, you could read this as a power move from them jeje.

Chapter 277: Opera-Sensei

When Opera becomes a teacher, they go around the school and greet everyone including Ameri. Ameri’s super excited, and because she values Opera’s strength, asks them to train the student council given they have time for it. I think this is such a sweet example of Ameri’s character; She’s strong, ambitious enough to ask for extra (hard) training, thoughtful enough to value their time and ask in a way thats not demanding. I think it also speaks of her respect toward Opera, who could theoretically be a poor teacher considering they’re new, that she trusts in them so much!

I’m sure theres more tiny bits of them but it’s been a while since I’ve properly read or watched iruma kun.

My thought process is a little scattered but I did wanna mention that I think these two would meet and be good buddies even without Iruma kun’s presence in their lives! Sullivan being the head of Babyls, and Ameri being a top student as well as a child of a 13 crown, I dunno I feel like they would have ended up training together at some point anyway. Probably not with Opera as an offical Babyls teacher, considering they only become one to keep an eye on Iruma, but in some universe where Iruma isnt in the picture and Ameri reaches for the Demon King’s seat yk? a private lesson or two!

Cannot say the same for Mafia AU tho… Iruma’s the reason those two are doing what they’re doing, and I think it’ll be up to him to get them to get along lol.

me: doing stuff rn but this brain bunny entered my head. general vanrouge x time traveler except the time traveler is a past briar valley general who disappeared one day. and is as feral as lilia so ofc they initially hate each other

OKAY NOW ONTO MY YAPPING AND SPITBALLING BELOW THE CUT

first of all the CLOAK. the cloak is actually a necessity. it's a type of padded armor made of thick pressed wool tightly pressed together. not only is it warm, but the way the fibers connect together and work is that it stops piercing blows from swords. it even could stop very early bullets! (not modern day). from what i can tell, this was generally worn over the rest of somebody's armor? it also wasn't exclusively armor. shepherds and whatnot also used it to keep warm, and shield themselves from wind. generally there shouldn't be a hood, but i really wanted the hood. a little feature that stuck w the armor and apparel of briar valley soldiers through the centuries (because general lilia has a hood but no cape/cloak)

it's originated in the caucasus mountains, and is called a nabadi or burka. it was generally made from sheep wool (according to wikipedia, karakul wool which is central asian in origin). it is also a style of clothing customary of males in the caucausus region at that time. at some point, around the 18th century, russia appropriated it and made it apart of their armor (which is why it is also called a burka). you can learn more about the nabadi and padded armor in general here.

something i like to do is put little aspects of myself or my heritage into my characters, which is what i did here lol. i'm half kurdish and according to my father we (as in my clan i think) originated from the caucasus mountains and descended down to where we lived in the middle east (obligatory rip kurdistan).

i thought this form of armor would be quite suitable for emil, because not only does briar valley seem to be a very mountainous region (and mountains are COLD. also from what i can tell briar valley seems to be located quite up north so. extra cold.) additionally, some of the briar valley names just feel a bit. russian. if u will. such as lilia, zigvolt (ignoring the fact they immigrated), vanrouge, etc. also russia and the caucasus region in general? in asia. close to the middle east. which is also mostly in asia. sebek coming from an egyptian god and baul sounding a lot like baal. ik real world geography has no bearing on the cultural influences of the countries in twst, and it's more generally mashing a mix of cultures together, but it makes sense in my head.

so the cloak? 100% an essential and totally canonical to the briar valley region. (i did not expect to brainrot so hard on this part oh my god.)

Random Dot analysis:

The interesting thing about Dottore is that while the most popular fanon about him is that his underlings fear him, canonically it's the complete opposite.

He deadass has an army of simps working for him, I had never ran into a Fatui NPC that has expressed fear about him, and instead they speak about him in reverence.

The most obvious one is during the AQ where a fatui agent expressed disappointment upon realising that Dottore would be leaving Sumeru soon, saying that he had only seen the lord once.

And it seems that Dottore actually talks to his subordinates often, especially when in the same conversation, the agents (who didn't know about the segment's existence thus not realising that they spoke to different versions of the Doctor) casually compared how their conversations went, one said that Dottore was dismissive while the other said he was all smiles.

The people who work for him are ridiculously dedicated, the fungi event with that one guy who for some reason - thought that a device that controls fungi would impress Dottore, he did all that to earn his recognition. (It would have been more impressive if the device controlled literally ANYTHING besides fungi, but eh whatever) Note: The guy has said in CN expressively something along the lines of "beloved/dear" lord, not the direct translation but it was affectionate.

Then there's that one dude who stayed behind after the (failed) aranara lure experiments, I don't remember much about him but I don't think he said anything bad about Dottore, other than saying that he had stayed behind because he felt responsibility to take care of the kids after subjecting them into a mission like that.

Cut to the two Fatui peeps on Mondstadt who gush about him after the Sumeru quest, and I'm pretty sure we met another fatui dude in the desert who decided to go against orders and go the extra mile of attempting to kidnap desert dwellers to present as test subjects to again - impress Dottore. I think this was a Jeht quest?

Oh, and in the manwha, it's briefly mentioned that Dottore does reward efforts handsomely.

Tldr:

Fanon - Dottore is cruel, he terrifies everyone who works under him and they always walk around eggshells with him.

Canon: Dottore gives high reward for efforts, he has too many simps that sings him praises and they're literally scrambling to be in the same room as him.

Conclusion, we need more dottore simps in fan content. Because not only is it more accurate, but its also funnier for Dottore to be followed by a hoard of fans.

ALRIGHT YOU HAVE ME THERE... I went back and reread the dialogue for the agents for when Dottore was leaving and phew you're right, lol now that i realize it's pretty entertaining!!

But now i have questions. How many agents know that Dottore has segments? The ones that do know, are they not allowed to spread this...? I'd think the news would be all over the recruits but I guess not. And I guess these segments are ridiculously similar physically/appearance wise too. 😭 And the ones that don't know, do they just think their Harbinger has multiple different personalities or something?? I need more NPCs talking about Dottore.

ELCHIGEN. THE FUNGI NPC GUY WAS SO FUNNY. I still have screenshots of when he spoke about Dottore omg, bro was DEDICATED. Literally created a whole scheme and put his life on the line just to get Dottore to notice him... i respect the energy tbh. I do wonder why he loved Dottore so much in the first place, i really think there's a lot more to his character than we've seen firsthand. I also went back and reread the other stuff you mentioned on the wiki and omg 😭😭 i cant believe i forgot this stuff happened, it's been so long since Sumeru 😭 it's so funny to think about how they're piling more crimes on themselves just for Dottore 😭 i wonder if he's aware of how favorable these agents view him?

Though I do think it may differ from segment to segment. Krupp was pretty scared of Webttore. It's also kind of funny to think people were more scared of Scaramouche than Dottore. 💀

At 5:30 am, you finally finished your work, you felt really tired, your body felt numb.

The warm light from outside shines on your body, looking out the glass window you realize everything is over when you hear the convenience store bell ringing you look towards the door the person changing your shift has arrived, nodding bow to the employee before you walk towards the door of the employee changing room where you left the cat that you discovered in the back of the store lying in a cardboard box that you temporarily put in. time lined with clothes you have found.

When you finished changing, take some items and put them in your backpack before walking over to the box and lifting it up. Looking at the cat curled up in the box you felt a little worried you also wanted to raise an animal for a long time, especially a dog or cat or perhaps a bird to keep me company in my shabby apartment.. At least you no longer feel lonely. Start to hate yourself for how weak you’re.

Before leaving the store you bought some cat food and of course it wasn't cheap before you picked up this cat but when you actually picked the food and realized it was much more expensive than you thought. Even though you've been working here for a long time, you never really care about the cost of everything and only focus on when your shift will end.

Holding the box, thinking only of the image of a lovely cat waiting for me at home. The thought of raising a cat makes you extremely happy and cheerful, your landlord doesn’t not prohibit keeping animals and this is a golden opportunity for you to find a companion. A cat will not only make your life more interesting but also bring a feeling of warmth and closeness, like a true friend in times of loneliness.

Then when you go to the pet store, you are shocked because the price to raise a cat or dog is too expensive, and when you go to the animal market rescue, you have to use so many documents that you are really confused. Frankly, your small brain can't handle all that paperwork. Hahah how funny, right? Your little head is full of those papers but when it comes to this you can’t even understand and do it right.

Stepping into the building, everything in this place is very... very desolate and gloomy as always. You can't say anything about it because you don't have much money and this is your best choice. Walking up to the third floor, the hallway to your room was really gloomy and all it had were weak yellow rays from light.

Entering the room, you feel relieved. You hate being outside, you just want to be in the room alone. That's also part of the reason you're alone because there's no one else to share the money with. You take off your shoes and leave them on the shelf before going into the living room and put the box down there near your sofa.

You bend down over the box sitting next to it, you look at the cat snuggling there in the clothes. But feel like you're alone and abandoned.

Your hand slid into its short fur and gently caressed it. You saw the cat growl when you did so. Looking at the wound on its leg, you felt even more pitiful why do so many people mistreat animals like that! When you look at the wound on your leg, you know that the wound was caused by a life-threatening force that put pressure on it, not something that happened naturally.

Forget it, you need to go to sleep now you have to go to bed and around 8am and you'll have to do extra work. You sat up, walked over to the sofa and lay down straight and immediately fell asleep because you were so tired.

“Why do I feel so hurt?”

Ghost slowly woke up, his body was now too weak, his eyes opened as he slowly sat up and stroked himself. Looking around, Ghost realized that this was not where he lived…

“What the hell!?”

He got up in panic, his cat body tangled in his own clothes, he looked around trying to stand up but immediately fell down. The cat felt pain, a bone-shattering pain transmitted through it, making the ghost hiss loudly in pain. Looking down at his leg and realizing that one of his legs was seriously injured even though it was already bandaged, Ghost could still feel how deep the wound was.

Looking back at himself, Ghost realized he was still in his cat body, WTF is going on!!!???

oh yeah I did watch the Sailor Cosmos Movies a while back.

-It genuinely startled me to hear Mamoru tell Usagi "I love you" (Aishiteru, no less) and I realized this is because I don't think he ever said it in the 90's anime. The closest was saying "yes" when she asked if he loved her. Weird to realize,

-Again, I prefer it to adding dumb shit like Crystal season 1 did, but the movie following the manga so faithfully means it switches location and scene every two minutes.This is fine for a manga where the backgrounds are sparse, everything flows together, you read at your own pace, but absolutely dizzying for a movie. there's no time to breathe.

-this arc is so relentless it really is like a horror movie (in space!) You're constantly waiting for the next person to die, and it's always so quick and kind of unceremonious

-they did tone down the blood though :/ of course. its okay if someone gets stabbed through the chest and dies, but can't have her bleed.

-the movie takes out any ambiguity about Cosmos being future Usagi and offers some additional backstory, with her explaining that a war broke out in Earth and decimated Crystal Tokyo and by the time they finally achieved piece so many had died she realized it could happen again and just thought maybe she should have ended things back then. It only shows dead civilians though. In one part Mamoru is seen fighting or something, but then later Usagi is contemplating the corpses on her own. There's no indication if anything happened to him or the Senshi. I think it would be funny is nothing did, and she just left to go have this existential crisis without them.

-The movie also hammers in that Usagi's choice here shows how much she's grown since the first arc (and from her past), she even flashes back to stabbing herself before saying "I want to live, no matter how tough it is". I always saw this bit of character development but the movie REALLY wants to make sure people don't miss it, which is good because from my experience a lot of people did.

-THANKFULLY the movie makes sure to show us Artemis and Luna and Diana are okay by showing Usagi returning home and Luna talking to her. It always really bothered me that the manga did not confirm that!!! i'm glad they fixed!!!

-it was basically fine, it was the manga but a little rushed and I did like all the extra stuff they added which is incredible by the reboot's standards, and I am glad to see the space opera bloodbath existential nightmare that is the final arc fully animated. That's worth everything else we had to go through. well mostly.

actually maybe it's just worth a quarter of all the other bullshit. It was a shitshow and it's taken them ten years, but it sure got completed and at least looked reasonably good toward the end.

-the fact it ends with Usagi marrying everyone is always so incredible. largely I think it's good the 90s anime is it's own seperate thing but it should have also ended with older Usagi proudly confirming she had premarital sex during her wedding and then having her entire girl squad wear wedding gowns (a tux in Haruka's case. unlike her horrible dress in this one) so they can all get married together

2. What is your favorite canon thing about this character?

There's actually like so many things I love about him OMFG. Okay but maybe one of my favorites is that he's literally just a baby. I'm talking about the fact that he has to keep up appearances BUT what he really wants is just to have fun with his friends and to be approachable to people. I love dualities like that when it comes to villains especially, cuz you realize that Akashi's just human and all he wants are basic human things like being happy despite the lengths that he has to go through to keep himself together.

When they write him ooc obviously LMFAO. And when they villanize him too much. Like he's just a little baby :( he just broken and he just needs some love. Oh and when they ship him with Momoi or Sakurai. Puke.

Well aside from Akashi x Sevonne (me), I have two. A few years ago I would have said AkaKuro, because obviously it just makes so much mf sense?? They were my otp back then. But right now I think my main favorite ship is MidoAka. They're best friends, they're very close and they both enjoy a lot of things together and they both are rich kinda so yeah I definitely MidoAka.

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?

Maybe Akashi's friendship with Kuroko. I remember that one scene in the manga Extra Game where Akashi warns the team that he might have to whip out his lil brother in the middle of a game and tells them not to be scared. The rest of the GOM was like "oh thats it? Can I leave now?" but Kuroko says to Akashi "Akashi-kun is Akashi-kun." I love it when they actually mf humanize Akashi because he's actually mf human even though he's always depicted as this perfect human.

I have to talk about this because the Glass Animals How To Be A Human Being album is one of my special interests that album is so cool you guys don't understand please

The album features 11 songs, each one corresponding to one of the people on the album's cover(s), each one telling a story about that person

I bring this up as context as to why, even though everyone in this community makes memes about it, Pork Soda is THE TomTord song, and here's why:

Pork Soda corresponds to the old man with a paddy cap and glasses in the back of the album to the left of the basket ball player, and as such it's sung from his perspective

The song is about two lovers who fell in love with each other because of their spontaneous nature,

Somewhere in South End when you were fun You took my hand and you made me run Up past the prison to the seafront You climbed the cliff edge and took the plunge

However, this song is sung from the future(ish?), it's the old man yearning for the days when he and his lover were younger and full of sporadic energy, for when they would just pick up stuff suddenly and leave off on some crazy adventure,

Why can't we laugh now like we did then? How come I see you and ache instead? How come you only look pleased in bed? Let's climb the cliff edge and jump again

This is further pushed by the song's official music video where it shows a literal divide between the two lovers, living different lives as they live on completely separate floors of the house

The old man is portrayed as bitter and its suggested this song is him complaining about how his life isn't what it used to be to the listener, as he sits in his living room watching TV and doing pretty much nothing with himself, stuck in a constant loop of disappointment and resentment

Versus the wife who's seen with a dog that she's trying to get joy out of having, she tries to keep having a spontaneous life and do fun things to keep that spark in her going, seen with her dancing with the dog in the floor above the old man

I think this is great symbolism honestly, and it suggests the old man is to blame for this lack of spontaneousness in their love life anymore

Furthermore this is perfect for TomTord, more specifically, imo, enemies/friend to lovers to enemies WTFuture TomTord, although The End was also pretty good I think it would've worked better if it was pre Tord leaving and then Tord coming back, as that gives similar vibes yk?

Glass Animals got inspired to write this song after they met a girl (at a concert I believe?) with a tattoo on her arm that simply said "Pork Soda", and when they asked her why she got such a random string of words tattoo like that she said "cause I wanted to", thus inspiring them to make a song about spontaneousness

HOWEVER

I know the reason she got that tattoo and why she said that she is so funny to me

She got that tattoo because there's actually a second Pork Soda, a band album: Primus' Pork Soda album, which is, I'm sure, why she got the tattoo because that album probably meant a lot to her

Thus making her answer "because I wanted to" seem like the generic answer every person who has a tattoo answers with because everyone always asks "why did you get that tattoo" or belittle them for the tattoo "not having meaning", etc.

Brothers Conflict Fuuto Asahina Review

So I wanted to do a review of Fuuto based off the game on PS Vita as well as the anime. I will eventually get around to do some of the other routes but I figured if I didn't post this I wouldn't get to it for awhile.

I started off hating this little shit from the anime however I will say in some of his close moments with Ema did bring a different vibe at times that I found myself somewhat attracted to him but still hated him. Not gonna lie sometimes I found his interactions like in the elevator on the ova pretty fuckin hot. I think it was a pain that a younger brother was more of a ass but after playing the game I realized he really is nothing more than a tsundere. Also the vampire scene was also pretty hot but I have a thing about vampires anyways.

Then I went to play the game and omg he started off as a ass again but damn he started doin sweet stuff and I couldn't help but start to love this guy. He would buy ema stuff without her asking and snuggle her why he watched his favorite movies with her. He would grab her hand and hold it when she didn't ask and tell her he wanted her to stay with him all night in his bedroom yet not sexually. Yes he still had his cheekiness to him with his sexual things but its funny as time goes on you really get to see why he doesn't let people in. He is so used to people wanting something from him all the time or wanting him to do stuff for them that he doesn't recognize when someone just wants to know him and expects nothing in return.

His story is sadder than you think because without getting close to him you never realize he works so much, has a weird schedule so doesn't see many people, and people want him to be something he really gets tired of being. He puts on a fake smile and persona for everyone but he is actually rather lonely. This is why he can be so bitter and even though sexually he likes to make comments I have come to learn its a coping mechanism for him I think he is so lonely that with even a sexual connection to someone he would gladly embrace. However you find that behind all his comments he will say he is joking but I think its more so you don't suspect of him just wanting to be close.

At times he tells Ema in sleepovers he just wants her to hold him all night. These are the moments you see the genuine side of Fuuto and how lonely he is. When he opens up to her about his wants of being a actor you can see such a happiness in him of sharing this with someone. Honestly at the end of of it all I really think I have grown to love Fuuto quiet alot used to be he was barely on my radar now he is in my top 3 guys now. Now I love tsundere's so maybe thats why I loved his character in the end but I also just wanted to understand where he was coming from.

He bought her gifts and took her to sweet romantic places where it was just the two of them. You really saw him falling in love with her and as he did he started not being so rough and rude with her. He had his moments like anyone else when he had little sleep or a bad day. This being said he got where he would come to her when he needed someone to talk to. He even goes out of his way to tell her that she is pretty even more so than the women he sees everyday.

The confession of love he gives is so cute even though he is right about needing to stay a secret due to her being family and his career but you can tell he still cuts corners sometimes and forgets or just doesn't care because he wants a bit of normalcy that others get. You can tell if he could though he would shout it to the world and not care. He even goes the extra mile of going to public school to be closer to her more often which is so cute and he is so hurt when Ema makes the statement to a friend that she thought he just did it on a whim and I really think she hurt him by saying that and him hearing which hurt my heart.

At Valentine's day in japan the women give to men and Ema did give him something but he came back and surprised her as well with a gift of expensive chocolates that he waited in line for just to get her that are normally sold out, like how sweet is that. His christmas gift is a song he sings to her right in the middle of a stadium he can't come out and say its his sister but he apologizes for practically being a little shit and that he wanted to give this to her.

For anyone who would normally pass up on dating Fuuto I would say if your into tsundere's you will love him how over if you like sweet boys he really is one you just got to get past his outer shell and who he has to be for everyone else. I'm glad I romanced him all the way through he gave me a love for him I don't think I would have ever gotten just from the anime.

No one cares, but I cannot shut up about things I've been thinking about for Star Rail for months.

I think it's so funny that the idea of travelling through space on a train should be a little silly, but I just. Immediately bought into the idea of it being the most romantic thing ever. That loading screen of the Astral Express against a starry sky with that magical music playing really did a lot of heavy lifting lmao.

I'm so fascinated by the flashes of the future Stelle gets. Is it related to the Stellaron? Is it related to her artificial body? Is it related to the Aeon that blessed her? I just don't know and I am waiting for the day they get into it.

I really love Stelle's design. Her being the tallest female character is one of my favourite things. I assume it's because it makes things easier for cutscenes if she's not significantly shorter than Caelus (honestly they should have just made them the same height, even if it's just "the same height if we include Stelle's heels", and I could have been even happier) but god it's so cute and funny that the female characters who have so much more tall energy than her, like Kafka, Himeko and Acheron, are all shorter than her. Her hair being so fluffy and looking a little messy makes her look SO cute. I really love the art for her fourth Eidolon because her hair looks extra fluffy in it.

AND GOD HER VOICE. It's a tragedy that Stelle doesn't speak more because I love her voice so much. The fact that it's that low… I loved… Stelle getting possessed in 1.5's Trailblaze Continuance just to get to hear her voice… I know there's some speculation about whether or not the receptacle that wasn't chosen is going to be a character further down the line, and if it happens I'm going to be so sad because the people who didn't choose Stelle would probably get to hear her voice more than I do lmao.

I kind of wish we didn't get to name the Trailblazers because when Aventurine calls her "Miss Stellaron" in 2.0, for a brief second I lived in a world where the voice lines could call Stelle by her name instead of "you" or whatever other placeholder they used and it was so good. Ever since I played Three Houses, I've gone more and more in the direction of "the more voice acting there is in a game and the less you can customize the main character, the more pointless it is to let you name them."

There is nothing I love more than characters appearing in another character's splash art. Silver Wolf and Blade being in Kafka's splash art fucking took me out. There is genuinely nothing that can convince me that they're not Important to her. It's a tragedy that Sam isn't also on it too. I gasped out loud the first time I used Preservation Stelle's ultimate and saw Bronya, Seele, Serval, and Gepard in the splash art. It's SO cute, I'm going to be so sad if they don't do the same thing for all the other paths too. The Astral Express being in Destruction Stelle's splash art is a similar situation because it's where her journey started and to me it represents her bond with the rest of the crew. Baby Tingyun on Yukong's. The much more subtle case of Lynx having a picture of her with her siblings in her tent.

I just really love the platonic and familial relationships in this game. The Astral Express crew and the Stellaron Hunters both have me in a choke hold. Looking at each group on its own is already A Lot (Listen, I almost cried when I heard Himeko's voice line about how she asked Dan Heng to be the Express's guard because she felt he wouldn't have stayed if he was gonna be a freeloader), but comparing both groups and seeing how they contrast but they ultimately have their own bonds with each other... And Stelle travelled with both of them at one point.

The fact that the whole Astral Express crew has those express pass pins is such an amazing detail. I almost cried when I realized they're all matching!!!! I wish they had made a separate model for Stelle and Caelus where they don't have their pin yet and then had a scene of them being given the pin after they joined... It could have been so cute...

I read through Kafka's companion mission again the other day and oh my god, I can't believe I forgot that she plays the truth and lies game with Silver Wolf all the time. I need to go lie down on the ground over these two constantly playing a game that kind of inevitably leads to getting to know each other better.

I also love her mentioning that if she and Blade had been thrown into prison, Sam and Silver Wolf would have broken them out. Please, I'm in shambles. Yes, they would have broken them out just because they needed to, but also. I really do believe there's this deep trust they all have for each other. If I think about it, I don't know if I would say the Stellaron Hunters love each other, I certainly don't think any of them would say it except maybe Kafka in a teasing way, but I do think they all care about each other in their own way.

There is Something that really gets me about the fact that all the Stellaron Hunters, including presumably Elio, went to go pick up Silver Wolf from Punklorde. Like, Kafka and Sam both going to get Blade makes sense logistically because they needed Sam to restrain him and Kafka to calm him down, but Silver Wolf? Who Kafka specifically said wasn't chosen for being good at fieldwork? Why did they all go to get her? I don't know, it just makes me really emotional for some reason.

The Landaus have such a fun dynamic between the three of them. It's so cute how Serval and Gepard both worry about Lynx, Gepard more so than Serval, and it annoys her but she also loves them both. For most of Serval's companion mission I was just like "🥺 Gepard just doesn't want his big sister to leave." The light cone???? Of Serval and Gepard when they were kids??? Serval defending her brother because she knew he didn't do anything wrong???? Also, something about how it's a Preservation light cone, but Gepard, the Preservation character, is the one being defended. Gepard's idle animation where he's humming Serval's song????

The inherent tragedy of Jing Yuan's relationship with Yanqing because he's raising him to be strong enough to kill him one day…

Dan Heng's interactions with Bailu in his companion mission were sooooo good and I hope they expand on it more in the future. It was really sweet that Dan Heng was so concerned about Bailu and now he has a new little sister. I love that they have this bond with each other because they're the only ones who can even remotely understand the weight of the expectations everyone puts on them because of Dan Feng. The CG in that companion mission was Everything to me. Dan Heng's speculation that he inherited Dan Feng's destructive powers and Bailu inherited his healing powers is so interesting if it's true. When I read Bailu's character stories and it said they were waiting until her coming of age ceremony before giving her the title of Imbibitor Lunae, it really hit me like a truck. I'm so curious about whether years down the line, as the story on the Xianzhou continues, we'll eventually get a Bailu Inhibitor Lunae. I just think it would be so cute if Bailu and Dan Heng had units with matching titles…

I had zero thoughts about Sunday, good or bad, besides being like "excuse me?" about the shit he said at the end of 2.0, but they showed the light cone with baby Sunday and Robin in the 2.1 stream and I was just like, oh noooooo, it's so cute, he loves his little sister so much.

I'm obsessed with the "Elio is the cat" theory. Is the leader of the Stellaron Hunters being a cat absolutely ridiculous? Yes, but I love the idea of the leader of this group of space criminals being a cute black cat too much. Even if the cat (tragically) isn't Elio, I still think it's like, connected to him or meant to represent him whenever it shows up. Release more light cones so Silver Wolf and Blade also have art with the cat.

I love the text message system so much. It's such a fun way to give characters some extra characterization and make them feel more alive. The peak example of that will always be the fact that Blade's text messages are all sent by the other Stellaron Hunters. Blade not sending messages would have already been like. Yes, this lines up with his character, but the fact that not only does he not send messages, but literally everyone except Elio (and honestly if every character had four daily messages instead of three I would bet Elio would have sent one too) uses his phone to send messages gives a little extra insight into the dynamics between the Stellaron Hunters.
