#I enjoyed this process So MUCH #And what a process it was. In one wip Solas looked a little bit too beat up... to balance the line of disheveled and on the brink of death #Is a delicate line #And painting these floating stones was such a joy! Good practice too as I don't often draw spacious and atmospheric scenes #I should do it more often. I was inspired by the concept art of Dai and datv. The amount of stories you can tell with the colors! LOVE #I tried a new technique for painting the skin and it was challenging. I layered transparent colors over a black and white shadow sketch.#A technique usually kept for oilpainting but it translated surprisingly well in digital media #And side note. Fun fact: The hardest thing about writing ‘Casey Begins’ is mentally switching back and forth between the time span of each consecutive chapter.

The “current timeline” chapters are so detailed. Readers see just about every waking minute of Matt’s life, and almost as much of Kelly’s. You know just about everything there is to know about what Matt & Kelly are thinking and feeling.

Meanwhile, the “past timeline” chapters are each just a snapshot. The time from one to the next might be years, and you don’t see much (if anything) of what’s happened in between. All of that has to be implied or referenced or just left to the imagination.

I’m pretty good at one or the other... but damn, switching back and forth is tough.

Thanks to many thoughts, I ended up drawing again about that one concept idea of mine with baby Max and tired Goofy. Which it's about how difficult it was for Goofy at the beginning for a couple of reasons, and that Goofy only managed to occasionally take better care of himself with the help of his friends. Sure he's positive and optimistic in general, but I can't see he managing it all by himself alone.

A fic so good it makes you dust off your blog you haven't used in three years.

This comic is based of a section of chapter 10 of Kein Weg Zurück, i thought the interactions were really cute, so i wanted to illustrate it!

Transformers is one of those things I migrate in and out of remembering when the hyperfiaxtion comes on, but my love for TFA never faultered, and so was it for this pairing. I guess @morethanmeetstheass RoE series also became one of the foudantions for this ship, which is deserved, these series are really, really good! Go read it! It's on Ao3!
