She's supposed to be better. And he's mad at her for making the same choice.#But he's also mad at himself. Because he's supposed to be better and he's supposed to be different now.#Even though he isn't all that different. He was falsifying reports to protect Isabel.#He's supposed to be training her to be better and she made the same choice he made.#So his course of action is to rev up the training some more. Maybe he was too soft and lenient with her towards the end of s1 #and he lost sight of his training methods and how rules matter.#but he also lowered his walls and was vulnerable with her. He let her in.#And he's going to keep letting her in despite how much he tries to resist.#with every act of kindness she shows him... the walls break down and soften a little #until all that remains is Tim's unwavering tenderness for Lucy.#that only seems to grow more in her presence and influence.

My OC Rhagerys Targaryen with the two most important men in his life.

His cousin Aemond and his father Daemon. He loves them both dearly. But like any Targaryen it's not a normal/healthy love for either of them...

This wonderful art piece was done by the beyond talented @murmel-malt. They did such a great job at capturing the three of them. I especially love how Rhagerys is looking at Aemond. And how Daemon is so confidently aloof.

#The piece is like a duality to Rhagerys #On one side it is Rhagerys being grounded/safe (Aemond)#The way they hold each other's hands while being able to feel comfortable enough to do so #The way Rhagerys feels relaxed when looking at Aemond #The way he feels that everything will be alright as long as he has Aemond #The other side is him being controlled/subservient (Daemon)#The the little hints of dominance when it comes to Daemon with Rhagerys #I mean Daemon has his hand upon Rhagerys's shoulder closer to Aemond. When he could have easily placed it on the should closer to him #To me it's like Daemon is saying without saying 'I allow Rhagerys to be around Aemond in this way. Because in the end he is mine.'#I mean even Rhagerys's hand closest to his father is clenched instead of relaxed #That even though Rhagerys is looking at Aemond and feels at peace #There is always a feeling (physical or not) that it can so easily be taken away #I love how even in a calm setting Daemon has Dark Sister on his hip. 1-a somehow finding out that their stoic, hardass homeroom teacher is absolutely stupid head over heels in love with their goofy, ridiculous, eccentric english teacher and subsequently reading WAY too much into how they interact in passing when they switch periods every morning

ie: in that scene where shouta takes too long to conclude class and makes mic wait, there's a slight pause in his canter before he calls hizashi "mic"-- class 1-a would be gripping their seats to bring that up in the dorms later about how aizawa-sensei probably almost accidentally called mic-sensei "pookie bear" since that's most DEFINIETLY what he calls him at home

they talk every morning when shouta is leaving the room and hizashi is walking in, and every day, class 1-a will watch for subtleties in behavior so closely that some of them don't even breathe or blink

I know everyone has talked about this but I really do love how much reigen cares about the kids around him. In general, he seems to want what's best for people (even if he lies through his teeth to them or scolds them and tells them to grow up) but it's especially striking with the kids, particularly within the context of the series' genre. So often you see kids in shows and books and movies expected to bear the weight of the world, but then there's reigen going "you're just a kid, this is not your responsibility, you should just be worried about normal kid things." Over and over he throws himself into danger to protect kids who have been failed by all other adults around them. And he looks out for them outside of life or death situations too -- he hears teru talk about being alone during summer vacation and he immediately takes teru on a bunch of summer excursions and invites ritsu along too even though he knows ritsu doesn't like him, he gets a trip to a hot springs and invites both of them even though they're not his employees, he drives mob and his friends up a mountain to summon aliens on new years. He just constantly proves himself to be a reliable, caring adult to these kids, and it's no wonder so many of them ending up latching onto him
