(note: im aroace, so of course i love the headcannon that saiki is too, BUT i also like saiteru a lot ☺️ to me its not a big deal if hes shipped with anyone because he is just a character and its not canon that hes aroace {even though i'd be happy if he was!!})

just admit you just hate confident women (because its CANON that to everyone but saiki, she IS the perfect pretty girl.)

her crush on saiki is incredibly reasonable. it started as her seeking validation, because her entire self worth since birth has been male validation, but over the series its shown how she really comes to care about him.

if you say something like "oh but he obviously doesnt like her back" ?? to US it's obvious that he doesnt outwardly reciprocate her feelings, but to her whenever saiki ignores her, thats just how he is to everyone.

to her, theyve gone on multiple dates, and theyre in the same friend group, so its totally reasonable for her to have some hope still.

honestly I've been rereading kbtbb stories lately because I've had an itch and looking back- I absolutely think part of why I like Mamoru best is I think out of all the bidders, it feels like he's the one most allowed to just be a fucking loser sometimes. Like with the other guys, Eisuke especially, I always felt like there was almost an unspoken rule that the guy kind of always needs to be cool, always needs to come out on top, and always have the upper hand. I'm so serious when I say I'm not a woman, I'm a lesbian. Genuinely. I don't feel connected to womanhood in any way that isn't through lesbianism. To an extent, it's like... inherently, as a lesbian, I inherently will not be like straight women, I will not fit in spaces defined around male attraction, and I'm frequently overlooked by other women because of this. That othering of me and my experiences has lead to this almost inevitable state of like, clearly I can't be a woman because so many of these "universal female experiences" are defined around male attraction, so why waste my time pretending like I am? That's not even bringing up the ways in which being autistic impacts my view of my own gender! I'm a lesbian, that's what matters most above all else
