Every time I read a Donna fanfic, and she speaks Italian I have either of two reactions:

- damn I am weak to my own language.

Or

- WHY DID YOU USE GOOGLE TRANSLATE.

Like you could have this most beautiful piece of prose and then BOOM ✨OUT OF CONTEXT ITALIAN WORDS✨

I am a native speaker and just, please fanfic authors use wordreference when translating. I beg you. It actually give you sentences based on the overall meaning of the sentence, while Google translate just goes for literal translation.

Rewatching Doctor who with my parents (very very slowly they don’t like binging and I don’t want to stay and watch it *with* them for a long time) so we just got to the special Christmas episode with a sneak peak at Dona. And I remember the doctor acting shitty bc he lost Rose. But I forget how dirty the did Donna situation wise. Like she missed her own wedding, was blamed for disappearing, the reception was done without her, her husband was fake, and she didn’t get to go with the Doctor (and didn’t know it would come later either)

And then finally gets in the know, finally gets to go with the Doctor and then her memory wipes like wtf creator of doctor who why does Donna get nothing
