anon ur right shes SOO affectionate in her own ways. Shelly rubs her head against you as a greeting, her tail waves whenever she sees you, and sometimes she even spins around you. It feels like the old Shelly is back.

Lack of attention was kinda of what made her go cuckoo... So get used to her whining to get closer to you, thats the only thing that could count as red flag in a relationship with her. She doesnt obligues you, shes just desesperate.

Shelly thinks the size difference between you two is adorable. Sometimes when youre in danger she likes to carry you in her arms so the other twisteds cant reach you.

YEAH she still rambles about dinossaurs and fossils to you. You find it the cutest thing ever, despite what she turned, shes still the same Shelly as ever with you

Ok actually cuddles with Twisted Shelly are so conforting and interessing. Shes so taller and slightly larger than you now, and you really werent expecting for Shelly to be a great big spoon. She holds you closer, a calm but tight grasp, a small fear of letting you go present, but in the end, she trusts you.

Shelly misses the old activities she did back then, drawing, digging up fossils, helping others... Shes glad youre there with her, and not afraid of her too. Shelly asks you if you two could do something together, and you both draw in some paper that was left by the kids :)

in general, fun dino gf, she loves u and wants to cuddle with you and do fun stuff together. THE BEST EVER

hi hi! we dont know each other but. i was scrolling through the audhd tag, and saw your post about the hyperfixation vs spinterest. i want to help, (as someone whos autistic + has adhd) so here's a link with some explanation: you can assess it here !!

but like, a tldr is. a hyperfix is when you get VERY absorbed in something, so much so that you forget to eat/do basic necessities and constantly think about going back to doing the task. like you just... do it all the time. and it can also be short, or not

spinterest is loooong, as you already know. and youre very focused on a particular subject, which is VERY important in your life. it can even influenciate your carreers goals! (it did mine. my special interest in minecraft led me to want to pursue architeture)

spinterests fluctuate in intensity, and you can have a spinterest w/o being hyperfixed on it! so its like. you know a lot abt the topic and it means a lot to you, but you can pause and take care of yourself! you just. can also sometimes make them ur personality? i know a guy who is so obsessed w dinossaurs its part of him now 😭😭

but like yeah thats it basically!! i do hope i was of help ^^

I'm not the one to create overly powerful characters but I have one and wish I could present my strongest bitch, another MCU character of mine (I have three but only one has a face) called Freya, that bitch is scary and I'd run if I ever saw one of her identities, not that running would save me because they usually mean something really big that is gonna wipe your planet is about to happen, so yes, running would be useless for me unless I could somehow change planets. :'D

That bitch is also known as mother nature and she is timeless but is reborn everytime she has to restore shit, so yes, we can say that somehow she created life and nature, so yes, dinossaurs and what came before and after them when it comes to the planet Earth. She has an obsession with the Earth and it is her favourite planet to study and wander around.

She also has a very strong dislike for Galactus for obvious reasons but keeps it to herself because she ain't dumb, don't wanna nothing to do with the creature.

Her character is one of the most complex I've ever wrote and that makes her really hard to write so I don't talk much about her but I truly love Freya.

Also, my sudden urge to talk about her started because her theme song just started playing while I was cleaning my rabbits room and gosh, I missed listening to this, here is the masterpiece:

recently rewatched jurrassic park and jurrassic world bc i honestly very much like the franchise and some thoughts:

i think jurrassic world generally kinda slays. really kept the conversation of the initial one going, not only in the science terms but how claire parallels alan.

i. fucking. love. claire. cinemasins and company loved to shit on her high heel run from the trex. me? i stan. absolute fucking legend. absolute fucking moment in history.

roberta? number one girl to ever be on the big screen. everything she did for feminism. my absolute goddess. she is soooo cuntyyyyyyyyy

no but fr i find it very funny to watch those movies thinking that all the dinossaurs (except maybe i think the trex in jurrassic world is in canon roberta's son? not 100% sure i havent seen the sequels in forever) and technically... all their scenes pass the bechadel test <333 my little freak lab girlie talking to her little new raptor bffs?? yes. little blue and roberta teaming up to slay the freak lab girlie dyno??? passed the fucking bechadel test. my gracious baby sea monster coming in x fucking machina style to finish it off??? feminism was never the fucking same.

i love the character of hammond. its very clear why we dont get characters like him anymore but honestly? he was fun. excentric gradpa decides to use his infinite fortune to birth life to dinossaurs and spear no expense etc. its interesting. he likeable to watch still like yea man dude got a childhood dream and was like why the fuck not. but at the same time like. dude. many why the fuck nots. he is fucking batshit for messing up with the balance of life etc like its such a interesting proposition coming from a guy u kinda really wanna like but u are caught like. what a nasty piece of shit why the fuck would u think this would work bitch.

there is probably people who say this much better than i can but the sub arcs or claire and alan going from disliking or struggling with kids to being ready to accept them in their lives (which sequels fucked up in alan's story but lets overlook that) something something something life finds a way. idk like this story of rich people bending the world over to breath life into something unnatural vs a protagonist getting ready to breath life themselves through children. i think it slays. the presence of kids very much assists the movie in selling you in the childlike wonder of what it is to see a fUCKING DINOSSAUR but also. of what it means to be responsible for another life. to make sure its safe and ok. idk man its such a good choice for the protagonists arc to involve that i love it.

Harumi Shirai Headcanons

Harumi is the only daughter of the leader of the Shirai clan. It is a small, humble clan allied with the Lin Kuei against the Tengu clan.

The Shirai clan originated from Outworld, they have the power of controlling flora and plants. (Harumi becomes the most powerful of them.)

Their clan was located on Iriomote Island. The island was remote but perfect for the Shirai’s magical abilities because it was surrounded by forests and plants.

Her abilities began showing at the age of 4 when she made her first flower bud bloom.

Her father was an overprotective and traditional man called her “little blossom.”

She wasn’t allowed to train to fight or rough house with the boys and her mother scolded her harshly when she was caught wrestling with them.

Harumi hated being treated like a delicate flower, she wanted to be a warrior like her 3 older brothers.

She would watch them train for hours and she especially liked watching her father train with the family’s historical sword.

Instead of being trained to fight she was trained in more traditional feminine activities such as sewing and cooking by her mother. In the Shirai clan, woman with plant powers were expected to use those powers for agricultural purposes only.

Her parents were close friends with the Kuai Liang’s parents because Harumi’s mother was originally from the Lin Kuei. They’d often visit the Lin Kuei castle in the summer.

Out of the Lin Kuei brothers, she was always closest to Kuai Liang. He made her comfortable to act like the tomboy she truly was.

He like seeing her use her plant abilities to make flowers grow tall or make petals fly through the air.

She also got along well with Tomas.

The three of them loved running around the Lin Kuei and annoying the shit out of Bi Han who had to babysit them.

She and Bi Han always had beef. One time, he stomped on her flowers after she laughed at him for slipping on his own ice.

When she started going through her awkward preteen phase 11-12 it was miserable. She started getting acne and Bi Han liked making fun of her by calling her “caface.”

She also started awkwardly crushing on Kuai Liang, he didn’t notice though.

One night, when Harumi was 13, her family and most of her clan were killed by the Tengu clan.

One of her older brothers hid her in a closet, trembling and shaking as she listened to her family fighting the intruders and her mother’s screams. When all the screaming and struggling ceased, she stepped out to see her littered with her dead family. She sobbed next to her murdered father, who was still holding the Shirai sword.

It turned out the assassins were still in the house, and they tried killing her but Harumi quickly took her father’s sword and fled into the forest. She was hiding in a tree when she saw an open portal.

Seeing no other option and knowing that the Tengu were close to catching her, she took the chance and ran through the portal.

She realized the portal took her to a completely different place. It didn’t even look like Earthrealm anymore. The overwhelmed and scared girl was found by non other than, Tanya.

(I hope you enjoyed. I’m actually loving the idea of Harumi having plant powers because it suits her nature. This is part one, I’ll post part two later.)
