No Capes! AU where Bruce and everyone else is an actor.
Famous Hollywood moguls Thomas and Martha would've rather died in real life than make Bruce a child actor so he didn't start till he was 24
It's an ongoing gag that Thomas always tweets "On my way to die again! As if you didn't know" with every Gray Ghost remake
The Waynes are always just. So chaotic
Bruce and Selina constantly bring stray cats on set; Bruce just hides them under his black shirt famously known as a void with no end.
Behind the Scenes cuts have images of this man pulling 10 cats from under there and the director is convinced he has a cryptid on set
They have to edit so much footage because Bruce always says "sorry" after "punching" someone. "Bruce, they have padding, they're fine!" "And no health Insurance. Do something about that."
Sometimes he forgets to take off the costume after filming. The record set for how many Subways he sent into a panic is infinite
That being said, Bruce's kids aren't afraid of him at all, and WILL run up to him everytime they visit to chant "dork! Dork! Dork!" While flocking around him. He cries from happiness
But he cries all the time, so it's hard to tell for what
The movie's soundtrack is just Bruce's middle school playlist, " They said they needed something rotten and terrible, like, -- poison for the ears. If you listen to it you get sick."
Bruce's biggest "diva moment" was refusing to give up the eyeliner and he still sends apology cards to the cast and crew for his " horrible behavior"
"He just kinda said no a bit loud and ran out of the studio while sobbing quietly."
Literally every villain on set is a sweetheart. Selina does her own make-up as well as Bruce's and Oz's and you can see Carmine lurking like a little gobling behind them just to scare her
There's this joke that none of Selina's streams ever go well because the crew is her curse. She's trying to talk about how to steal on set, meanwhile, Bruce next to her, "Did you know cats have no collarbone. Also, the electric chair was invented by a dentist."
You'd think everyone's favorite duo would be Bruce and Selina, and you wouldn't be wrong, but the public can't wait for Bruce and Carmine to have a press conference or interview together
Mostly because Carmine obviously dealt some shady cards in his past and Bruce is so clueless . " Have I ever tried coke...No, I like Pepsi." While Carmine is trying not to laugh behind him
Edward is just as bad. He's trying to tell the director that's not how bombs are made, and someone's head exploding wouldn't look like that, and Bruce is like :O Eddie, I didn't know you were a gamer
Edward is a menace on set and Bruce stays blind to it because he like him. There's rows of videos of Bruce stopping mid scene, going " Eddie," before jumping on the guy like the kitten he's NOT
Alfred still brings Bruce lunch and snacks and he throws down with Oz for no reason. He always brings the kids (read; they sneak in) and it's very clear they're not getting any shooting done that day
Dick, age 10, impatiently asks why Gray Ghost can't have a sidekick. In the last moments of the movie Dick runs in, improvises a scene with Bruce, and the fans love him too much not to include him after
You just leave Bruce alone when his babies are on set; Damian is strapped to his chest cause he's so small that everyone almost steps on him, Jason is giving the writers tip, Tim is taking pics of everyone, and Bruce smothers them with kisses constantly

2023 Kdramas I am excited for
We have only a bit over two months in the year left, but it looks like kdramas saved the best for last. Here is the list of kdramas I am excited for...
Boyhood/Once Upon a Boyhood (November 24) - Siwan hasn't done a bad drama and I am in the mood for a nostalgic 80s piece. I am a little amused that a 35 year old is gonna be playing a high schooler, but in a fond way.
Castaway Diva (October 28) - I am very fond of Park Eun Bin and if anyone can sell the whimsy of a tale about a woman who was a castaway and then becomes a pop star, she will. Not fond of the new trend for 12 eps but it is what it is.
Goryeo-Khitan War (November 11) - my most anticipated for the rest of the year. Every casting and crew choice, every promo makes it look like an old school politics and war heavy sageuk that does not cater in the least to youth or even fusion sageuk subgenres and I am here for it so so so MUCH!
Gyeongseong Creature (December) - not a big fan of netflix originals but I am there for the cast and the setting.
The Matchmakers (October 30) - looks like a wacky period romp with Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun. I don't have high hopes for it because I like my period stuff angsty, but whatever else, it's gonna be pretty pretty pretty!
Moon In the Day (November 1) - except for GK War, my most anticipated for the rest of the year. Reincarnation/time travel story that flashes back between modern day and Silla - GOD YES!
My Demon (November 24) - sounds like shoujo crack about a demon who loses his powers and enters into a contract marriage (of course) with a human. Done many many times before but I am always a sucker for the trope.
Perfect Marriage Revenge (October 28) - first of all, I have a huge weak spot for Sung Hoon. He's a limited actor but between New Tales of the Gisaeng and his role in Faith, he won my heart forever. But also, this plot is so old school melo the way they don't make it nowadays. Our FL is betrayed by her sister and her husband and dies. But she wakes up before her marriage and decides to do things differently and get revenge. She gets married in a contract marriage to our ML, a chaebol (of course) played by sexy Sung Hoon and...doesn't it all sound like those delicious transmigration novels made flesh?
The Story of Park's Marriage Contract (November 24) - I love time travel/time slip stories and the fact that this is a woman who ends up in the modern day where she comes across the dead ringer of her deceased husband makes it high class Durian, plus Lee Se Young is a wonderful actress who rarely picks wrong.
Tell Me That You Love Me (November) - a remake of my favorite jdrama of all time, Aishteiru to Ittekure, this story about the relationship between a deaf painter and an aspiring younger actress is going to give me the adult love story I crave. The fact that the legend that is Jung Woo Sung is back in dramas, and is playing the ML, is just the perfect thing. (His last proper drama was Padam Padam in 2011!!! He is mainly a movie star.)
Vigilante (November 8) - I am just here to see Nam Joo Hyuk kick people in the face.
Welcome to Samdalri (December 2) - Shin Hye Sun and Ji Chang Wook in a romcom mmmmm. I don't have any pics so have:

One of my Ianthony Roman Empire is Ian’s I love You to Anthony in the funeral roast.
The way Anthony admitted he was most nervous about Ian’s roast. The way the whole cast hypes up Ian when it comes to the roast because how good and creative his roasts are whether it be the roast itself or the character he was portraying for it.
Then Ian proceeds to roast just Anthony’s baby pic and spends majority of it being thankful to Anthony for them to being able to reconnect again and having his friend back. Proceeds to praise him for being a talented and creative individual.
Then ends it with an “I love you” and my favorite part is the reactions. The cast and crew with their loud “Woah” because they knew what it meant for the two. Anthony’s reaction who’s very emotional with the whole speech his best friend was saying and to end that with an I love you that obviously means so much for him, their friendship, and for Ian himself who doesn’t convey his feelings that openly so often on camera.
Casual yet shy delivery. 3 words. Yet such a meaningful moment I’m sure it was for everyone in that room.

== Love Notes ==
Okay Lovelies, apologies, gonna need to have the fan spotlights in the next post because there was just so much going on with the Cast and Crew these past few days! There's still more to show, and I'll work on getting tonight's recap up as well here in a little bit. I truly hope you're being kind to yourself this weekend lovelies. It's been so busy lately, and I know sometimes life like to pop up and kick us in the tush and make things harder -- so remember that you're doing the best you can with what you have. There's enough shame in this world, try to remember not to add to it for yourself, because you deserve grace, especially when things continue to be tough. Sending so much love crew.

Valid, valid points. A lot of this makes sense. I agree with most of this. That Eddie thing could be interesting.
Q. What got posted that we weren't supposed to see? All the content the crew has shared and a golf pic is what gets them in trouble? I'm so lost!
A. I'm almost certain it was the firefighter golf club topper. There is no way that is a 'real world' item Buck or Gerard is walking around with. I had pretty much talked myself out of any kind of AU until that golf pic was released. That pic is wildly out of place. And there is just no way that golf topper is based in any kind of reality. So maybe Eddie does get stung and it causes hallucinations and he imagines a different 118 (119) reality. Or maybe it's Buck who gets stung and he once again experiences an alternate reality, using Buck again wouldn't be the best choice but it wouldn't necessarily surprise me either. Maybe Eddie was at the church trying to pray for Buck (or whomever the injured party is) to recover. Maybe he makes a deal with God, a spare my friend and I promise I'll be a better Catholic kind of thing. And that's how we get the start of Eddie's self exploration. That could open lots of possibilities for Eddie to figure things out about himself. I just don't want the injured party to be Bobby or Athena. They are way too overused in the trauma department and those characters desperately need a break where that is concerned. Last season was the first time they approached Owen (Lonestar) territory for me and I don't want that for them. It needs to be somebody else this season. There are other ways to highlight Angela and Peter.
As for the crew they never should have been posting the amount of content that they post. And truthfully the hospital pic from last season that showed Bobby's name on the white board should have been the end of their ability to post that kind of content. It's just too easy to make a mistake, like they clearly did yesterday. I do think though that we have guessed something correctly. Once they made the post about loving their 'busy bees' they were paying attention to the theories being thrown out and I would imagine we were right at some point about something. I also think whatever they're filming this week they want tighter containment of for some reason. It's been a quiet few days in comparison to the previous couple of weeks. Personally I'm glad they're going to slow the drip of content. The amount of spirals that resulted from that golf pic yesterday was ridiculous. The amount of asinine conclusions some people came to over that pic was absurd. And the reality is this off season has been unlike any other. I'm not getting into it because everyone knows what I'm talking about. The longer it went without any sighting of certain things/people the uglier things were going to get. Although I still maintain the reason he hasn't been seen is because he genuinely hasn't been on set yet. Everyone needs the break. They will still post certain things just not at the level they were and that's fine.
Thank you for dropping this in my ask box Nonny!
First things first. I read a couple of things on Twitter and Tumblr and I received an update from Ali about the bts ban as well. Here is the update:
"So apparently The Rookie and other shows had their BTS stuff stripped as well so it may have been an ABC decision across the board and not necessarily a 911 crew mistake.
The Rookie cast posted things about not being able to share BTS content anymore."
So reading this, I'm thinking that the whole thing might just be because of a spoiler from another show that got leaked. It doesn't necessarily need to be 911. It could be, but it doesn't have to be.
Or maybe ABC just wanted to get some control back, because the crew's posts were getting out of hand. They were posting waaaay too much information.
Still, that puppet picture that was posted yesterday was very quickly removed again, so it could have been about that. Unfortunately, there is no real way to find out.
But I do agree with Ali that the puppet golf topper was a very very very strange object and it might just be for some AU episode. Who knows?
I am happy that the bts is going to slow down though. With the premiere of the show rapidly approaching the tensions are rising and all this bts isn't making fandom a better place to dwell in. We'll get an official trailer soon and then we'll have plenty to discuss. I have no doubt about it. 😋
IMPORTANT! Please don't repost this ask and/or a link that leads straight to my Tumblr account on Twitter or any other social media. Thank you!
Heads up! For anyone who is giving me the shifty eyes for reposting Ali's updates instead of reblogging. Read this.
Remember, no hate in comments, reblogs or inboxes. Let's keep it civil and respectful. Thank you.
If you are interested in more of Ali’s posts, you can find all of her posts so far under the tag: anonymous blog I love.

Debunking fandom rumors: Erin and Jensen
It has come to my attention that someone is creating multiple accounts and posing as ITK while claiming that Erin and Jensen have hooked up or have a love story. It seems some bloggers and users actually adopted this person's narrative without digging deeper and asking for evidence. My reason for this post is I have received asks and dms from people actually falling for these rumors and the stories behind them make absolutely no sense and there is zero evidence. I have also received warnings from the people who have, thankfully, not fallen for them and had things to share about the person responsible. There is a huge difference between speculating about your fav celeb and full on gaslighting people with made-up stories.
The story seems to vary a bit from person to person as it gets passed down by the people who have been misinformed. The web is so spun some have adopted these claims as truth. Let's debunk a few of those versions. Please note that I don't know them by heart and so they aren't super precise but the claim behind them is the same:
You may have heard that Erin posted about Austin and then deleted the post. - An actress going to Austin could be about an infinite number of events, from art to auditions to modeling etc. There is absolutely nothing out of the ordinary there because Austin is bustling with entertainment industry opportunities. Jensen was in the process of moving to Connecticut, moving involves preparing everything not just the actual move. If someone keeps insisting Erin was there for Jensen then please ask them for clear evidence and you will soon find there is none.
You may have been told that some woman who worked on set for the Boys caught Erin and Jensen in the act. - First off, Erin and Jensen barely intersected each other on set. Secondly, on-set crew signs NDAs. Thirdly, no professional actor would risk getting fired over flirting or anything related, that's a super fast way to get fired. A set is a professional environment. Most of all, people who are a part of the crew don't have so much access to the stars. They may get to interact and be around them when doing make-up, costume and other set-related situations but actors have their own designated areas and security is tight. Aside from this, rumors on a set travel at lightning speed and yet no such rumors about the cast ever surfaced. I can also add the fact that actors are trained to create chemistry and so they use various exercises to achieve this. Often, people end up believing they are in love precisely due to the powerful chemistry those exercises generate. Don't believe me? Cool, have a look here.
Some friend of a friend saw Erin in Jensen's lap in some social media post. All that was visible was the beard. 🤣🤦🏼♀- The beard belonged to Jai Courtney. No Jensen was involved.
Erin and Jensen got matching tattoos - In reality, Jai tattooed Erin's ankle, which had zero to do with Jensen. Here's a pic:
These are just a few examples, in some cases, the person sharing these rumors claims to be Jensen's hookup and that Jensen confided to her that he is involved with Erin. The person responsible for sharing these stories has multiple sock accounts and is posing as multiple people. The person has even resorted to stealing someone's online pictures to pose as that friend so as to differentiate one of her sock accounts from her original one.
Aside from this, this person has also taken to SM to harass the actors in their comment sections, in an attempt to make it seem as if the rumors have taken off. They have not.
Neither Jensen nor Danneel nor Erin deserved to be harassed over made-up stories. To avoid doxxing anyone involved, I have made this a general post to bring you awareness and give the person responsible a chance to reassess their actions and do the right thing. As mentioned in my disclaimer, I want to strongly remind everyone that anything you read online or on my blog or any other blog should be taken with a huge grain of salt. Just as when people contact you claiming they are Misha, Jensen etc. ask them for evidence and once they fail to provide it report and block. If someone contacts you to share gossip, stay grounded, ask questions, ask for supporting evidence and details, and make your own decision rather than adopting someone's idea of the truth. It's one thing to entertain a rumor and quite another to harass real-life people over adopting these rumors as truth. Gossip can be fun and entertaining but it should never, ever cross the line into slander, impersonation and other violations. Let's keep in mind that there are teenagers with naive perspectives, fans who suffer from erotomania or other mental disorders or people who simply lack information who might all fall victim to these machinations and suffer consequences. We all play a part in keeping fandom safe so let's exercise caution. Please stay safe online and help others do the same. I am feeling kinda tired so I apologize for not being able to compose this post as clearly as I wanted, feel free to DM me if anything is unclear.

saw this on twitter and as someone who loves 1. talking about my opinions and 2. talking about this show, i am of course going to take this excuse to talk abt my opinions of this show. im gonna throw all of it into reblogs of this post tho so im not clogging up the tag fdjkhfsjk
anyway days 1-7 (bc im late to the party) under the cut:
Day 1: when did you discover ofmd?
probably same as most ppl on here, ofmd was suddenly all over my dashboard at some point around mid to late march 2022. one post i saw was a link to a google drive with the episodes and i ended up watching the entire series like, the next day.
Day 2: first impression of ofmd
ok tbh my first impression based on the very first gifsets i was seeing was "this show looks kinda stupid idk if i can take these costumes seriously." then during the first few minutes of s1 i was like "oh yeah this is definitely a taika project, this feels so much like wwdits." both of these impressions no longer hold true lol the costumes are SO fun and past the bit in the pilot of stede narrating to lucius the wwdits vibes are no longer present.
Day 3: first ofmd pic in gallery
first ofmd pic in my phone is the uncropped version of this fanart:
ed just hanging out with my doggy
Day 4: reasons why you like ofmd
i tend to enjoy lighthearted comedy tv and also shows with shorter episodes. this is why most of the media i've consumed for years is just cartoons hjfkhkghfskj BUT outside of those basic preferences the HEART the characters the writing the comedy the romance the soundtrack the set design the props the storylines the cast the crew. there's almost no part of this show that im not in love with.
Day 5: fav main character(s)
Day 6: fav supporting character(s)
an incomplete collection in no particular order:
this show has so many blorbos
Day 7: songs that remind you of your fav characters
uhhh mostly just the soundtrack songs (high on a rocky ledge, the chain, perfect day, avalanche, miles from nowhere, the beautiful ones by prince) bc im bad at listening to music. one time i was listening to hurt by johnny cash and i started crying abt ed. jinx by green day is kinda stedecore. there's a handful of todrick hall songs that my mutuals have related to ofmd characters and that's given me brainrot.

Hello 🎬👋!! Haha, I’m glad you enjoyed the thoughts, I loved these so much! Thank you!
LMAO I think a few of them would have real good taste in song titles, but others… not so much 😅 I actually think Yuno would have some pretty solid ideas. Though Haruka has some nice thoughts too, I heard both his titles are specific plays on words that I don’t think he’d come up with himself…
Omg yes! The prisoners would have such a good time planning mv outfits! I can definitely see it being bittersweet for Fuuta – exasperated by, but also homesick because, they all remind him so much of his sister ;-; Mahiru is devastated she's not getting a new outfit for I Love You and so she enjoys styling vicariously through helping the others. Shidou’s outfit was even more painfully Dad before the group helped tone it down. Before the mv color scheme was decided, they cycle through a few different colored marching band uniforms for Amane. Muu doesn’t quite understand the flower dress, but the team promises her it will all come together to look great.
>:O The birthday art can be au canon!! The previously mentioned fashion crew makes everyone dress up like their cake, and designer Mikoto photoshops them into a pic of it aww. Even after watching the t1 videos, it would be the nicest they've seen everyone get dressed up. They're shocked seeing the boys clean up so nicely in their suits, and the girls are just shining in their fancy dresses and heels. And maybe Es’ “birthday” pic was a pre-experiment candid shot of them chillin with the bunny off set :’)
On a slightly darker note, I wonder if those pv shots of the restraints are canon too. Milgram had a few ideas for worst-case restraints and took a few shots for reference during an early fitting…
ADFGGH rip Haruka 😂😂😂 I love the idea of a whole group of them sneaking around looking for tasty goo and fun props, and instead stumbling upon The Mannequin Room. And waait I'm so emotional over Kazui loosening up and having a bit of fun with his tricks :’D With all the themes about certain characters growing up faster than they should, it would be so lovely to see them giggling and messing around in a blooper reel! I’m imagining someone trying to twirl Amane’s baton as well as her and epically failing at it.
Yeah, I have a lot of different predictions for Amane’s t3 changes – but no matter what happens, she starts accepting help just a little bit more behind the scenes >:) It’ll still take her a really long time to break away from the cult’s beliefs (no one in the cast/team really knows proper cult deprogramming strategies at this point, but they start looking into it as soon as the experiments ends.) Still, she finds a balance of keeping most of her religion and also realizing that the others genuinely care for her.
And oooh I really like that 👀 I always pictured the prisoner Es hints to be leading toward them being a prisoner in the future (accused of executing prisoners), but that would add so much more drama if it relates to a past imprisonment. The ten would make a perfect heist team, hacking the system, snooping around, and charming facility members in order to find paperwork detailing past experiments featuring Es. And Kotoko would certainly be leading the investigation – I love how closely she’s monitoring everything, it would fit so well if she were the one to see the truth first. Between the realization that Milgram hasn’t been fully honest, and the threat that Es may be there for even longer, the jailbreak would erupt much quicker than the current timeline. Although the au is nicer overall, I really like keeping Milgram a pretty shady organization hehe
#milgram#omg these are all awesome!#now im imagining a stereotypical blooper reel and crying :')#i love that official art of es -- its so sweet ough#i have so many amane thoughts.... itll be really interesting to see what happens#(and then immediately sitting down to try and fix it without stepping on canons toes LOL)#thank you for sending!! this had my brain buzzing with possible endings 🤔#i wrote the last chapter of the fic knowing it may need little adjustments once the final things air#but it was fun to think about things turning out drastically different#im glad people were entertained by the song titles -- i had a ton of fun with them asdfasd#lights camera sing your sins#ask

Her determination to uncover the authentic Gojo fuels her, but as the lines between professional distance and personal connection blur, Ai faces an inner struggle—can she maintain her integrity while digging deeper into Gojo's guarded life?
genre: modern AU, slice of life, comedy, eventual romance, eventual smut, some angst
A/N: So before posting these chapters I like to think about what songs I'd like to pair with them because it's fun for me and I had a really difficult time deciding what songs would "fit" this chapter. Anyway, I landed on two songs that I think would be great for this chapter. Oddly, I think they kind of work together.
First is I CAN'T STOP THE LONELINESS by Anri. I love this song when I picture this fic as an anime I always pic this song as the opening. The second song is Good Luck, Babe! by Chappell Roan. I love her 80s synth vibe that she brings to her music it really fits the energy that I picture whenever I sit down to write this fic. My interpretation of the lyrics could be off, but I always read them and thought of the person that Chappell Roan is singing to is closeted. It doesn't necessarily fit the narrative that I've created here, but I think the sentiment is there? Hopefully you get what I'm trying to say.

The first week of following Ai’s assignment was at an end. Just as she had gotten used to Gojo’s schedule but today, production was wrapping up, everyone seemed to be in a much better mood, except for Gojo. Gojo always seemed to be in a decent mood, whatever the circumstances. Ai wasn’t sure if that was an admirable trait or if he was just rather disconnected from everything.
“Are you gonna go to the wrap party or are you just gonna hide in here some more?” Gojo asked as he tried to take a peek at Ai’s notebook.
The “here” that Gojo was referring to was his dressing room. At this point, it served as Ai’s de facto office space as well as Geto’s photo studio. The usually sparse dressing room now had different lighting and camera equipment placed in the corner of the room, while Ai’s and Junpei’s laptops sat on the table along with their scattered papers. It was something that Ai would usually feel bad about, but Gojo seemed to enjoy the three of them in his space even if it did feel cramped.
Ai jumped a bit and brought her notebook to her chest as she gave him an unamused look. “I’m gonna head back to the hotel actually.”
“Bo- ring ~” Gojo teased as he stood up straight. “You guys are gonna come, right?” he asked Geto and Junpei, jutting out his lower lip and batting his lashes.
“I have some stuff to do, but I’ll make an appearance,” Geto shrugged as he snapped a quick shot of Gojo. Geto tsked as he looked down at his camera screen. “Satoru, stop looking directly at the camera.”
“But the camera loves me, Suguru.” Gojo pouted at his friend, batting his lashes.
Geto rolled his eyes in response and put his camera down.
“I-I can come?” Junpei pointed to himself in disbelief, bringing Gojo back to his earlier conversation.
Gojo clapped Junpei on the back and laughed. “Of course, Junpei-kun!”
“It’s going to be at a bar not too far from here just in case someone changes their mind , ” Gojo glanced at Ai and playfully stuck out his tongue, reminiscent of a petulant child, before adjusting his blindfold over azure eyes.
Ai narrowed her eyes at Gojo’s antics. “I don’t think so, but I hope you all have fun.”
Gojo left the dressing room without looking back, his laughter echoing down the hallway as he waved carelessly.
Once he was out of sight, Ai thumbed through her notes. The pages were filled with different scribbles from her week. She felt like she held a wealth of information in her hands, but hardly any of it was straight from Gojo, which stressed her more than she’d care to admit. As she scanned the pages of her notebook, she smiled to herself. During Gojo’s downtime, Ai noticed he liked to play the Digimon card game online. It made her laugh when he would get called for a scene in the middle of a game because of how conflicted he would look. Ai sighed and shut her notebook, she didn’t want to dwell on it too much. She was sure that once she did a proper look-through, she would see that she had more to work with than she expected.
“Are you sure you don't want to go?” Geto approached Ai as she was packing up. While she wasn’t completely sure, the expression on Geto’s face looked a bit devious.
“It's not really my scene, besides, I wouldn't want Gojo to feel like he has to filter himself because I'm there,” Ai said meekly.
Gojo snorted in response. “Trust me, Satoru won't care. See it as a networking thing.” He grabbed Ai's bag and slung it on his shoulder along with his own. “Leave your work at home for once, Ai-san.”
Ai narrowed her eyes at Geto as he gave her an innocent-looking smile in return.
Junpei nodded in agreement. “Geto-san is right,” he said falling in step behind them as they made their way to the car. “It’s going to be fun!”
“Why thank you, supervisor Junpei.” Geto hummed.
Ai wanted to fall to her knees in despair when she heard Junpei agree with that demon . Somehow the menace of a photographer had turned her sweet kouhai against her. There was no way she was going to be able to weasel out of it now.
Uncertainty spread across Ai's face as she listened to Geto and Junpei bicker about the pictures and lighting issues throughout the day. As much as Ai wanted to sort through her notes, she couldn’t really pass up the opportunity to talk with Gojo in a more natural setting–for the article , of course.
“Fine,” Ai said, sealing her fate as she climbed into the car.

Ai wondered if she was right to want to stay at the hotel like she initially planned. When she arrived at the bar with Junpei, everyone was already a few drinks in. The energy in the room was lively and inviting, but she felt a bit out of place.
Ai had always tried to skip work drinking parties since she and alcohol never seemed to mix well. She cringed inwardly as she thought back to the office New Year's party where she slurred her way through Anri’s “I Can’t Stop the Loneliness” at the top of her lungs. That could not happen again.
Unlike Ai and Junpei, Geto had arrived separately. He was happily sipping on sake and picking at some yakitori near the corner of the private room reserved for the Jujutsu Kaisen cast and crew.
While Ai couldn’t be certain, it seemed like Geto had made nice with the restaurant staff because despite being sat in the corner, fresh plates of food always seemed to travel his way first. She figured that it must've been one of the giggly waitresses since they would always linger a bit longer than they needed to after setting the plates down, blushing and smiling when Geto gave them a quick wink.
Ai walked over to the table where Geto sat, Junpei following behind her. “You seem to be enjoying yourself,” she said as she and Junpei took the unoccupied seats next to Geto, the apparent womanizer.
“I almost thought you changed your mind again.” Geto hummed as he took another sip of his sake.
Ai shook her head. “I got a phone call from my boss.”
“Everything good?” Geto asked, easily shifting from comfortable and relaxed and back into work mode.
“Yeah…” Ai nodded as she got more comfortable. “He just wanted to check to see where we were with the story.”
Geto nodded as he listened, lighting a cigarette. “Is he always so hands-on?”
“You smoke?” Ai ignored Geto’s question as she eyed the cigarette.
Geto raised an eyebrow at her. “Is that a problem?” He brought the cigarette to his mouth before exhaling a small puff only moments later.
Ai shook her head. She didn’t mind, she just didn’t think it suited her image of Geto. In her mind, he would smoke using a kiseru-style pipe much like a monk or a samurai did back in the 1800s. For whatever reason, cigarettes seemed too modern for him.
“So about your boss…” Geto trailed off, waiting for Ai to get back on track.
“Oh right,” Ai pursed her lips and thought and looked at Junpei, who just shrugged in response.
The thing is, Ai wasn’t even sure. With all her previous jobs she had always reported to someone under Yaga. When she got the call from her boss earlier, her heart felt like it was going to stop. She wasn’t sure how he could have found out, but she was almost positive he had somehow discovered her crush on Gojo and was about to fire her. However, Yaga gave no indication that he knew about the crush because any sane person would know that it was impossible for him to even know that. In actuality, he called just to check in and see how things were going. Yaga had much more important things to deal with than Ai’s nonexistent love life.
“No, this is just a big story for the magazine.”
“Well of course it's a big story. It's about me .” Gojo butted in as he sat himself between Ai and Junpei.
Ai couldn’t help but roll her eyes at Gojo's comment as she scooted over– then again, she couldn't deny the truth of it, either.
The man was truly everywhere--on magazine covers, on billboards, on keychains, he was inescapable. She passed him each day on her daily commute to the office--promotional images of Gojo plastered inside the station. If she paid attention, she could make out lipstick marks and encouraging post-it notes littering the promotional pictures. If she paid more attention, she would notice the lipstick and notes increasing with each passing day. The love for the man’s character was unreal.
Gojo shoved his phone in Ai’s line of sight. “Look, they’re making another figure of me. It’s beautiful, but I think I’m even prettier.”
“You’re so humble, Gojo-san,” Ai said dryly as she poured herself a beer, getting a chuckle from Geto and Junpei.
She knew that drinking probably wasn't the best idea, but between Yaga talking her ear off and Gojo being Gojo, she needed something to help her unwind a little.
“Thank you, I know,” Gojo replied, not even missing a beat as he started to pick at the various plates that littered the table.
Gojo leaned back in his seat, draping an arm casually over the back as he took the room in. “So what were we talking about before I so courteously interrupted?”
Geto glanced at Ai, asking for permission to share their conversation. She nodded as she took a sip of her beer. It tasted awful, but she continued to drink it.
“Work stuff, nothing too exciting, you really didn't miss much,” Geto explained as he took another drag from his smoke.
Gojo raised an eyebrow and looked at Ai from above his glasses, clearly unconvinced. He graciously let the subject drop and pushed a plate of yakitori in front of Ai's face with a charming smile. “Have some. It's good stuff.”
Ai pushed the plate out of her face. She leaned forward to check on Junpei and let out a sigh of relief when she saw him talking with Yuuji, Megumi, and Nobara. She didn’t even notice him getting up and going to the other end of the table. She was worried that Junpei might have felt obligated to pal along with her, but she was glad to see him interact with others closer to his age.
Gojo glanced in the same direction as Ai and smiled. “They're good kids.”
Ai couldn't help but smile at Gojo's comment. Despite his usual obnoxiousness, there was a genuine warmth as he looked on at his younger costars. He almost looked fatherly with the way he spoke about them. There was an obvious care that went beyond the typical working relationship.
“They are,” Ai agreed as she rested her cheek against her fist. She felt a warmth spread in her chest. She supposed it could be the beer making its way through her system or the pride she felt as she watched her shy kouhai laugh and smile so freely. In her mind, it was a bit of both.
“They work really hard.”
“Oh yeah?” Ai glanced back at Gojo.
Gojo nodded as he bit some chicken off a skewer. “Mhm, I’ve been pushing them to train more.”
“Train more?” Ai sat up a bit straighter.
She cursed herself for not bringing a notepad with her to write anything down. Of all times–why didn’t she take her notebook with her? She quickly fumbled for her phone so she could at least type some quick notes down for later.
If Gojo noticed Ai acting like a frantic mess, he didn’t give any indication because he continued to speak calmly and affectionately. “Itadori and Kugisaki are pretty new, right? I mean, Gumi-chan is too, I guess...” he shrugged. “Anyway, I’ve been pushing for them to train more so they can do more of their own stunts.”
“How come?” Ai asked curiously. It’s not like Jujutsu Kaisen had a tight budget; they could easily afford as many stunt doubles as they needed. They just finished making a blockbuster movie with a record production budget.
“It might be a load of crap, but I think it’s necessary to truly understand your character,” Gojo explained rather matter-of-factly as he tried to steal some gyoza from Geto’s plate.
“Do you feel more connected to your character because you do your own stunts?”
Gojo pursed his lips as he continued to try and steal from Geto’s plate.
“Satoru, just get your own,” Geto complained as he started to fill a plate for Gojo himself.
“But I think the ones you have look the best,” Gojo insisted as he easily swiped Geto’s plate with a smile, causing Geto to glare at him. “Anyway, as I was saying, I think it just flows more naturally if you do it yourself.” Gojo shrugged as he started to eat his newly acquired food.
“What do you mean by ‘flows more naturally’?” Ai asked curiously as she struggled to type as much as she could before Gojo continued. When she glanced down at her phone screen the text was riddled with typos. What the hell did ‘I’ve been psy9ny for them to twin more so they dan fo their own stunts’ even mean? She hoped that Junpei would help her decipher it all later.
“I mean, it just looks better,” Gojo stated as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. “It opens up so many different possibilities in terms of shooting fight sequences and aside from what Itadori and Todo have to do, the choreography isn’t that difficult.”
“Are you sure it’s actually that easy?” Ai questioned. “I mean, of course, it’s easy for you –you were a professional fighter before an actor.”
Gojo put his chopsticks down and looked over to Ai with a cat-like grin, dipping his glasses down his nose to see her more clearly. “Ai-chan, have you been looking into me?”
Ai blinked at the man. “I mean, that’s literally my job.”
“Oh yeah.” Gojo chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. “I forgot.”
Ai rolled her eyes, but she couldn’t help but smile to herself. Internally she wanted to throw her hands up in the air and cheer. She had finally gotten something more from Gojo. She made a note to herself to thank Geto and Junpei for convincing her to go.
The night carried on and Ai seemed to relax. The worries of work melted away as she drank more and more beer. She felt her body noticeably relax as time passed. She wasn’t sure if it was because she had some more workable material or if it was the alcohol making its way through her system. The only thing she could wonder now was when had she become so stressed that her whole body seemed to ache with tension.

On the trip back to Tokyo, Ai decided to use the two-hour ride home to sort through her notes despite her mild hangover. She wasn’t ready to start writing the article yet, there was still too much work that needed to be done, but this would help keep the information fresh in her tired mind.
She skimmed through her notes and prepared to transfer them to her laptop.
He hides behind smiles, but maybe even unbeknownst to him, his giveaway when he’s stressed is the way he tends to clench his fist.
Ai frowned as she looked over that particular note. She recalled jotting it down when there was a technical malfunction on set, but she noticed him doing it whenever Gakuganji didn’t like a particular take of his. It was too wordy or maybe it was just that it wasn’t that interesting to begin with. She didn’t like it at least. She frowned as she transferred the line into her word doc. As a writer, she’d find a way to rework it at a later time. It could be the future Ai’s problem. The dull headache she had made it difficult for her to do much else anyway.
Ai leaned back into her seat and stared out the window, taking in the blurring scenery. She was still having a difficult time pinning Gojo down. She couldn’t really make a whole article based on their brief conversations. It was difficult for her to discern what was real and what was just an act he put on. She only could capture brief moments of the person beneath the character; that was the nature of the game with actors, but she wanted to dig deeper.
Most actors put up a front. It was all part of the job for them. It didn’t matter how famous the actor was. Ai remembered when she interviewed Nobara, the girl put up as much of an act as Gojo did, but unlike Gojo, Nobara was able to reveal her caring nature and sense of duty to her craft without much trouble. It did take some work, though. It was when Ai finally convinced Nobara that she wouldn’t write about her more-than-platonic relationship with one of her female co-stars that she seemed to really open up.
Given that there was a large shipping culture around Jujutsu Kaisen characters, Ai decided to ask Nobara about her thoughts on same-sex female pairings. She expected Nobara to give a diplomatic answer, but she answered rather casually. Ai tried to remember what the actress said. It was something like, ‘Honestly, I think it’s great that people can see themselves in the characters they love. If I saw that on TV I’d probably come out to my grandma.’ Ai wanted to include that in the article. But since Nobara wasn’t fully out to her, she couldn’t bring herself to do it. She wouldn’t be able to live with herself if she hurt someone like that–even if she was trying to encourage others in the process.
Besides, it wasn’t the type of story that Ai wanted to write anyway. Ai did her best to be professional; she wanted her subjects and sources to know that they could safely talk with her. Yes, she was a reporter, but her integrity as a person meant more to her than any story. She would like to believe that didn’t need to rely on such underhanded tactics to get readers. She just had no idea how she’d convince Gojo of that…
It felt like whenever she was getting closer to gaining his trust, he’d immediately put a wall up. It was frustrating, honestly. She scoffed as she thought about it. People always said she rarely let people in, but she'd argue that Gojo might be worse.
Ai frowned as she crossed her arms over her chest. She generally didn’t like getting too friendly with the people she was writing about–it was just easier that way. It probably would be safer for her if she kept Gojo at a distance anyway. She didn’t want her feelings to grow into anything more than a crush. For the sake of her sanity, she couldn’t allow that to happen. After all, these stories weren’t about the relationships she formed with her subjects. The articles Ai wrote were about her subjects and her subjects alone.
Ai would have to make a special exception for this case. In order to get something tangible from Gojo, she would have to offer a bit of something in return. It was the last thing she wanted, but she didn’t have much of a choice. How else could she get Gojo to open up to her if she didn’t open up a little herself? She could stand to be a bit more vulnerable if that’s what he needed to trust her.
As the train carried on towards Tokyo, Ai couldn't help but feel some anxiety stir within her. It felt like electricity was traveling down her arms and into her fingertips. She closed her eyes and tried to focus on her breathing instead. The tingling soon dulled and she opened her eyes again to stare out the window. She could see her reflection in the window and frowned as her tired face stared back at her.
She could do this. Ai sighed and rubbed her temples, the faint throb of her headache still there. She refused to let it slow her down, though.
Her gaze drifted back over to her laptop. “One step at a time,” she muttered to herself, as her hands moved swiftly over the keys. As time passed, Ai had amassed pages of notes, each line a fragment of who Gojo was. The pieces were coming together but she still couldn’t see the whole picture.
Ai glanced out the window once more, the skyscrapers of Tokyo coming into sight. The train began to slow, and a voice came over the speaker alerting passengers of their imminent arrival. Ai quickly saved her work and shut down her laptop.
She glanced at her reflection once more. The same tired woman stared back at her, but now there was at least a flicker of confidence. “You’ve got this,” she whispered to herself, standing up and preparing to disembark.

Hi!! I just spent the last two days reading At Hope's End and I'm so so OBSSESED with the AU and world building and the character relationship you wrote!!!!!! The found family energy is through the roof and honestly I want more stjyklgjlgsahlkg
I also very appreciate the detail that they change outfits throughout the story. I saw that you did include art with their design but somehow it doesn't show up for me 💀💀 but the description is clear enough that my imagination can run with it lol.
Anyway, I love love loveeee the story and I look foward to any future plan with it (if you do have any) You're amazing!!!!
Aaaaaagh 💜💜💜💜 thank you so much for the sweet ask, this was so heartwarming to wake up to!!! I'm so happy you enjoyed it so much, it brought me so much joy to write that story and share it 💜💜 especially the character bonds, these were definitely my favorite part!! There’s so much lore that had to be cast aside for the story (the Zeti society is the biggest example; they're not in contact long enough to really explain anything but I had a lot of notes!)
And agh thanks for reminding me about the images!! They used to be there but for some reason they disappeared? I'm not sure what happened. I used a personal discord server for the image links but kaybe I did something to the channeI like changing its name and ao3 was unable to find the pics again? (Curse ao3 needing a link rather than just inserting a file lmao) Not sure what happened exactly but I put them back in Welcome Aboard the Maria but didn't have time for At Hope’s End and I completely forgot about it!! They're ready to be put back I just gotta do it! I’ll try to put them back this weekend or next week, thanks for the accidental reminder! Shouldn't be too hard to find the places they go since I put *** between them and the text every time ^^
For the moment, I try to focus on Where the Water Narrows, but... There might be a one-shot collection coming at some point. There's a lot I want to tell about this world and the crew, but it wouldn't fit for a big story. (I had a sequel idea at some point, but while the Problem™ was interesting, the rest of the story was a bit of a mess and the ending was a big confusing mess in my mind so it'll remain on the backburner for a while if not forever) BUT. Point is, I'd like to eventually put out those one-shots, I have a few ideas already from crew backstories to extra post-fic things with an in-between of out-of-crew stories. If you ever see "Tales from the Deep Seas" cross your notifications, that's the one *wink wink*
#thanks again for the sweet ask 💜💜#always makes me happy to see someone enjoying the stories!!#asks#duawawawa

New Marshall Pics! (Rubble & Crew)
A new episode of PAW Patro- wait, no! It's the episode of Rubble & Crew with Marshall as a guest star! As you can imagine, I was waiting ever-so-patiently for this one to air!
This is actually the first episode of Rubble & Crew that I've watched. I have to say, it's a fun show! The cast seem pretty likeable, and the animation, although a little rough at times, looks pretty good! I can see why there are folks who enjoy watching it.
Of course, you know why *I* was watching it. And must say, I really enjoyed Marshall's appearance here! He had his usual trademark clumsiness in just the right spots to make it always so humorous, and the episode also gave him plenty to do, including helping out at one point when building the fire station! It's too bad he wasn't allowed to use his Ultimate Fire Truck very much, but there was a story reason as to why, and things worked out just fine in the end, of course. I'd say they also got his personality just right, and it was so cute seeing just how much Rubble's family loved having him around! Especially Motor, who kept nuzzling up against him. Cuteness overload, indeed!
I must say, as a big fan of Marshall... I was very pleased! So much so, I really hope he gets to show up in Rubble & Crew again someday! :)

Genuinely bamboozled as to why and how allllllll the other OC ships are able to get a happy ending together or leave the show with a good ending for the other half of the ship except upstead. After the main OC account changed their account to stellaride and the promo which seems to include a new clip of them together im just so frustrated that Jesse and Tracy get left with the worst storyline for their show. And it’s all stemming from the show runner who gave some of the best scenes to them yet single-handedly ripped them away. I get it’s a drama but come on there were a million other ways Jesse could have left and the drama could have continued, it is a show revolving a team not just two people but proving my point Jesse and Tracy/ Hailey and Jay being in the viewers but no let’s rip them apart in the most mind boggling out of character way possible for funsies
Totally and completely not fair to Jesse and Tracy and the hard work and effort they put into making their relationship come to life as well as the fans who tune into the show to watch their story unfold.
Sorry for the rant but at this point it is just completely unfair how the so called yacht of PD is being dismantled for no good reason at all. Holding onto Jesse’s trust the process and Tracy’s doll pic wording and her hashtag for dear life because I refuse to believe this is how their story ends
Your frustration is felt, I think many Upstead fans feel the same way. I really wish things had gone down differently and handled very differently. I always say I'd love to have an interview with Gwen, one where real questions could be asked and answered. I'd love to pick apart her and some of the writer's minds on how they made the creative decisions they made and why. I'd also love to hear what J and T have to say about it, but they are too professional and respect the cast and crew too much to probably say anything that would paint it in a negative light (which is completely understandable.)
And this is good timing because we got another photo of mini Halstead and maaaaaan, I am *trusting the process* because Tracy is REALLY getting into it.
All aboard the delulu train!

more from the 2011 "the bus" kickstarter's updates via james lantz:
2. We're designing and building our set. We're so lucky to have Michael Schweikardt designing our set. Our director, John Simpkins, and Michael have been working together for years, so it's great to have this team behind The Bus. To give you some idea of some of the talent behind our show, The Wall Street Journal recently said of Michael's set for the acclaimed Goodspeed Musical's production of Showboat, "Michael Schweikardt's compact yet rich-looking sets deserve a prize for sheer ingenuity." Michael is definitely bringing some of that ingenuity to our show at 59E59 -- check out the photo essay below of our work-in-progress set for The Bus. Pictured are our Vermont artisans, John Maurier of Champlain Metals who is building the platform structure, and Mark Dabelstein, our set builder (who worked outside in the rain today ripping out an old gas pump!)
I have to be quiet right now because I'm preparing this update in the middle of rehearsal so that's why I'm typing lightly (tap, tap, tap...) but I couldn't wait because I really wanted to share an idea with you.... [...] ps. This is my view of rehearsal right now (plus 2 other pics from rehearsal)
Last night I was walking from the rehearsal studio to grab a bite to eat and I passed by our soon-to-be home, 59E59 Theaters -- and there, in front of the theater, was a postcard kiosk with the brand new postcards for The Bus loaded and ready for people to pick up. Suddenly feels like we're official! (In a couple of days, I can't wait for our two actors, Will and Bryan to see their faces on a HUGE 10' poster in the theater windows!) [...] You're becoming a topic of conversation, too! New Yorkers are interested in how we crowd-funded our entire play. One industry guy told me, "Look, I'm used to dealing with a handful of wealthy investors to put on my plays -- but 450 people, some who've donated less than $10 -- never heard of that before!" We also got a call from a publicist who inquired about the possibility of a reporter following us to Topeka to write about a crowd-funded play on the road. We'll be sure and keep you posted. Oh, and Thank You to our backers who wrote personal notes to some key press and industry folks -- we were able to get about 55 hand-written notes to some of the most influential theater folk in the city. Thank you!
Okay, so we're minutes away from our first NYC performance and we're sold out! I don't have much time so I'm sending you a photo essay of our first couple of days here at 59E59 that should tell you what we've been up to and, in a small way, let you know that we wish you were here. This is, after all, your show too!
Our last show at 59E59 Theaters was this afternoon -- lots of tears, hugs and a standing ovation. A nice way to end our run at one of the best Off Broadway venues in New York City (Thank you for having us 59E59! We loved being at your theater!). So we loaded up the truck, said our goodbyes to our cast and crew (until December) and soon, we'll be Vermont-bound with our set, costumes and an old Texaco gas pump. Now it's time to turn our sights toward Kansas where we'll be taking our show in December (in our next post, we'll give you more details about our forthcoming performance). In the meantime, we're pretty exhausted here. We'll leave you with some pictures of our load-out and one last shot of us standing in front of 59E59 Theaters. Oh, one more thought -- there wasn't a single show that YOU weren't present -- you were in the program, on our website, and on our mind every time The Bus took to the stage in NYC. We're not done yet -- we still have our backer rewards to get to you (I'm so sorry for the delay; producing our show has been a much bigger and time-consuming task than I had expected!) and we've got our show in Kansas to produce, too -- but we just cleared a big hurdle and now seems like a good time to say, 'We couldn't have done it without you! Thank you!'
During the shows I stood in the back of the theater and watched as The Bus unfolded for some of the most attentive audiences we've ever played for. The cast felt it, too -- one of our actors, Bryan Fitzgerald, said that, 'Like no other time, he felt every eye focused on the show like a laser.' It was fascinating to listen to our audiences, too -- what they laughed at, when they were quiet, and when a few of them audibly gasped. Some jokes in the script that never got a response in New York, got hearty and sustained laughter from our generous folks in Kansas. At the end of every show our cast received standing ovations -- lots of tears, smiles and people saying how much they appreciated us bringing the show to their state. We were so moved.

Hey MT!
I noticed some concerns regarding Melissa's return and AMCs overall marketing, so I wanted to weigh in with a marketing perspective that may shed some light. Let me preface this by saying I don't work in TV, but if someone in TV marketing wants to weigh in if I get anything wrong here – please do. I'd love to hear their thoughts and yours, MT. I also want to be transparent and say I’m a Caryler. Take this if it resonates, or leave it <3
Marketing works best when it's directed at a specific audience. There are two major things to focus on (I’m oversimplifying for brevity) – aggravating audience fears and teasing audience desires. When marketing hits the mark, it elicits strong reactions. Then they lean into that to keep the audience engaged and maximize their viewership for a show.
From what I’ve seen with Daryl, AMC focuses on aggravating fears. The fear of Daryl being retconned is big and easy to tap into. It's safe to assume they’re targeting Carylers as their audience pool because we always react strongly to AMC’s marketing tactics. Why not Daryl fans? Because his fans (most of whom adore Norman) are ride or die and will watch no matter what. But Carylers are a larger group that they can count on if they deliver Daryl AND Carol.
From what I’ve seen AMC leans on leaked info or set pics to gauge/tease audience interest. For example, everyone was worried after seeing the set pics of 10x01. The strife in the fandom manifested itself and aggravated our fears for them. Because there was a fear of D0nn^e going canon, the Caryl reunion ended up being spectacular (especially with their foils being present for it). Without that fear, it would've been good but not great.
They aggravate your fears (or let them fester) so they can go in and relieve them later with a big payback. But it only works if you get well-timed sneak peeks of the payback because there's always a risk of losing the audience if they lean too hard into the fears. (For example, "I'm never gonna hate you" after the cave/Carz3kiel tease, "It's a date" placed in between the Reaper arc and Leafy's return, Carol holding Daryl's hand in Outpost 22 after D0nn^e ship baiting.)
Bonus points if the big payback is a big surprise.
Speaking of…
If Melissa is co-leading S2 of the spinoff, why aren't they announcing her return? Many Carylers are openly untrusting of AMC after last year. So announcing Melissa's return is a huge gamble. They give up their biggest advantage if the reactions are mixed (not to mention, lose face). Which may explain why they go out of their way to minimize her involvement (*coughs* upfronts). So when she shows up as a big surprise, the response is overwhelmingly positive after over a year of watching our fears being pummeled (and we feel more forgiving of the story because we’re so excited to see Caryl again).
But in the meanwhile, what they can do is let our fears fester while teasing audience desires to give us a sneak peek into the payback we could get. Why do we keep finding nuggets of info from the cast and crew confirming Melissa's involvement as the premiere draws near? It’s not a lot and not "official," but it’s enough to keep us talking about the “big silver-haired surprise” we get if we tune in.
I wouldn't be surprised if they sprinkle ambiguous easter eggs until the S1 finale to keep us Carylers engaged. Because my speculation is Melissa will show up as our big surprise in the S1 finale.
I won’t go into how much this kinda marketing incenses me. I leave you with this: end of the day, if my speculation is correct, they know canon is the only way they can maximize engagement with Carylers – which is a good thing.
We have a future, everyone. Caryl on <3
*Please* go into how much this kinda marketing incenses you hahaha
Thanks so much for sharing. I’m not in marketing, entertainment or otherwise, but everything you said sounds about right and this has been one of my biggest gripes all year. Continuing these tactics on an audience that already reached its breaking point last year feels manipulative, reckless, and doomed to fail anyway. Maybe a more honest approach isn’t possible for S1 because the quality is just that 👎, but I sincerely hope AMC doesn’t wrongly assume fans will be too excited about Carol’s return to care about the how and why. They tried to use Caryl’s final lines to each other in the series finale to distract us from the shitty spinoff fiasco, which only got mixed reactions at best. I hope they know how to maximize engagement like you said.
Thanks again for your insight. I think it’s super helpful and a good reminder to refrain from engaging on anything that we don’t like. Hold onto your wallets until AMC delivers on its promises.

When the RIDICULOUSLY femboyi and adorable Shuichi saihara got casted into "Magical starlight : Kaede akamatsu and the mystery of love" as the main bad guy’s cute henchmen, did he expected his life to turn out as he did~? I mean nowadays he is maried and the trophy hubby to the absurdly thicc famous star, the well known Kaede akamatsu~, but it would be fun to know how he actually ended in this paradise of a situation~
(The lenght, detail, stories and all is up to you friend, also you’re amazing.)
(Thank you @cowedeacumootsu for the pics and the ask. Also YOU'RE amazing <3)
Shuichi was quite nervous, but also excited. Being a detective had never come naturally, but it had come easily, at least. He'd spent his whole life steeped in that world. But acting?
He'd never even thought of it. Not even in his wildest dreams. Never held an interest in it.
But while he'd been on a forced vacation due to his uncle needing to close his agency for a few weeks, he'd stumbled across a poster.
'Magical Starlight: Kaede Akamatsu and The Mystery Of Love'
It was some sort of magical girl kids show, Shuichi thought. He'd heard of it in passing, caught an advert for it on tv once or twice.
But what caught his eye was the line at the bottom of the poster.
'Open auditions! Amateurs are welcome!'
Shuichi didn't know what possessed him to note down the number. Or call the casting director. Or show up and actually try. Or even worse, what had possessed the casting crew to actually call him back.
But here he was. Dressed in what could only be very charitably called a costume.
He couldn't believe he would be wearing this on live television, much less in a kids' show!
He was still shuffling in place in the changing room, debating the merits of trying to flee when she knocked on the door, making his back shoot up straight.
"Shu-chan~ Are you done changing?" A melodious voice sounded through the door, and Shuichi gulped.
"Y-Yeah…" He found himself answering, and the moment he did, the door was open, letting his co-star in, and making Shuichi blush like a tomato, seeing her in her own costume.
The thicc-as-oatmeal woman was practically spilling out the edges of her tiny magical girl costume. Shuichi's hands trembled slightly as Miss Akamatsu entered the room, her every step making mounds of flesh jiggle temptingly.
She smiled widely when she laid eyes on him, making him shuffle in place, embarrassed. "You look outright delicious, Shu-chan!" She said happily, the slightest hint of a blush coloring her cheeks.
Shuichi choked on his breath as Miss Akamatsu stepped closer and closer to him, making him look up at her. The older woman had at least half a foot on him, and that was before she put on her heels.
"Th-Thanks?" He stuttered, a hand coming up to the brim of his nonexistent hat, to grasp only air and leaving him to simply look down to the ground.
It was hard to not be intimidated when he was in the presence of the Kaede Akamatsu. The woman seemed blessed by the very gods to succeed in whatever she tried her hand at. She used to be a world-renowned pianist, before becoming an acclaimed actress, not to mention her good looks and shining personality.
Miss Akamatsu was simply born to be a star, unlike shy and gloomy Shuichi. But that was why they were here, wasn't it?
"Stop looking so down, Shu-chan~" Miss Akamatsu sing-sang, leaning down to his level and making Shuichi blush even harder at the view of her cleavage she offered.
He forced his eyes to look up at her, not directly into her eyes of course, lest he loses his voice once more. "S-Sorry, Miss Akamatsu." He apologized.
The blonde pouted. "'Miss Akamatsu'? I'm not that old, you know? Call me Kaede~" She demanded.
Shuichi bashfully nodded. "S-Sure." He said, pointedly not actually using her name, and making the blonde pout even harder.
He jumped when her delicate hand landed on his shoulder, her perfectly manicured hand teasing his barely-covered skin and giving him goosebumps.
"You'd think someone would show more gratitude when I graciously offer my precious time to help them learn…" she mumbled, making Shuichi's face pale.
"I-I am grateful!" He insisted, his hands coming up in front of his chest as if to surrender. But he truly was.
Shuichi might've passed the audition, but it was quite clear that he was lagging behind the rest of the crew, justifiably so.
And that was when Miss Akamatsu approached him and offered to help him learn his lines and practice with her.
"If it weren't for your help, I probably wouldn't stand a chance… Of course, I'm grateful." Shuichi ended up mumbling, a blush dusting his cheeks as he stared at the tip of his boots.
He heard Miss Akamatsu hum in the back of her throat, before her hand grabbed hold of his chin in her fingers, making Shuichi jump, eyes wide in bewilderment. She slowly forced him to look up at her, the silky smooth skin of her fingers tickling Shuichi as she did.
Shuichi's eyes were caught in the blonde's as she stared down at him, making his heart beat against his ribcage faster and faster.
"So? What do we say?" Miss Akamatsu asked leadingly, making Shuichi's mouth dry out.
"Th-Thank you-"
"'Thank you' who?"
Shuichi was drowning in twin pools of blue. "Thank you, Kaede…" he said, feeling out of breath and making Kaede giggle.
Her hand patted the top of his head, making him blush once again. "Was that so hard, Shu-chan?" She said, obviously pleased with herself, before spinning on her heel and making the detective blink as eye contact was finally broken. “Now come on! We haven’t got all night~”
As she spoke, she left Shuichi’s changing room, leaving him blinking and staring stupidly at his closed door. The detective let out a shuddering breath, and adjusted his suddenly too-tight bottom, though thankfully, they didn’t let anything appear through them, which honestly surprised him.
Pleasantly so, of course. The last thing he wanted was for Miss- for Kaede to think he was some kind of pervert.
He breathed in deep, trying to calm his nerves, and stepped out, following Kaede on the empty set.
The studio was empty, the last employee having long since left for the night, but Kaede had somehow managed to get them permission to use the studio for Shuichi to practice. And in the middle of the half-constructed throne room set, her legs slightly spread and her hands on her hips, her shoulders squared and her chest thrust out, Kaede stood, smiling at him.
Shuichi blushed as he couldn’t stop himself from ogling her, but if Kaede noticed, she made no mention of it. “Are you ready to begin, Shu-chan?” She asked instead as Shuichi stepped closer, though he stopped maybe half-a-dozen steps away, where the script wanted him to be. In front of the imposing throne, between it and Kaede.
He took in a shaky breath, before nodding with as much certainty as he could muster, which wasn’t all that much.
Kaede licked her lips in response. “Then begin whenever you’re ready, cutie~”
Shuichi shivered, his blush redoubling in intensity. He was glad his mask was covering his face right now. But he tried to chase the fantasies Kaede kept inspiring in him, and closed his eyes, focusing on his character.
While he was new at acting, memorizing his lines was hardly a challenge for the detective.
He gave Kaede his best frown, and posed dramatically, ignoring the embarrassment the pose provoked in him. “S-So you’ve come, Kaede!” He declared with a voice that was intended to be confident. Though he powered through. “If you think that I’ll allow you to reach the Heart of Hate without a fight, then you’re dead wrong!”
Kaede chuckled behind a raised hand, making Shuichi falter. “Um-”
But before he could point out her mistake(?), she pointed at him dramatically. “It is you who is dead wrong, Shu-chan!” That wasn’t his name in the script!? Was Kaede improvising!? “I’m here for something much more important than that!” She declared, taking a step forward and making Shuichi step back in response.
His mouth worked soundlessly for a moment, trying to come up with something to say. “I-Is that so?” He questioned, torn between asking Kaede for an explanation and simply going with the flow of the experienced actress. “A-And, what is that?”
Kaede smiled even wider as she continued to walk toward a retreating Shuichi. Or at least he had been before he bumped into the throne. And before he could readjust his course, Kaede closed those few final meters between the two. Her arms fell on the armrests on either side of him, trapping him between her and the seat, leering down at him.
“Isn’t it obvious?” She asked, a hungry gleam in her eyes that made Shuichi gulp.
“Love~”
“OOOOOOHHH~” Shu-chan howled like an animal, his hips flush against Kaede’s chest, cumming once more against her softness.
“Fufufu~” Kaede sultrily chuckled. Shuichi was bent over, leaning over the throne’s seat, his musky cock trapped beneath him in her large cleavage. She tightened it like a vice with her elbows, and held onto Shuichi’s hips with her hands, not allowing him the range to actually pull his cock out.
Shui-chan had been cute before, but like this, with his cute butt in her face and his balls twitching as she milked him, he was positively delicious~
“Go on, Shu-chan~ You can shoot one more for me, can’t you?” Kaede teased the poor boy, making him whine, but the moment she tightened the grip her chest had around his cock, it transformed into a moan, and his hips began bouncing once more, his balls clapping against the top of her chest.
She licked her lips, before catching one of them in her mouth, moaning at its salty taste, and making Shu-chan cry out, and redouble his efforts at cumming. She thoroughly bathed it in her saliva, savoring its musky taste.
Honestly, such a dangerous cock shouldn’t be attached to such a cute boi~ No doubt any other woman would’ve had her brain melting out of her pussy from the smell alone, but Kaede wasn’t just anyone.
She’d teach this naughty cock just who was top dog.
It didn’t take long for her to feel the nut twitch energetically on her tongue as Shuichi flooded her tits with yet another cumshot. They hadn’t lost any of their volume or thickness, even after three other just-as-voluminous ejaculations.
Kaede would have to pull out the big guns. Not that it would be a big sacrifice on her part~
She let go of Shu-chan’s hips just as he pulled back, surprising him and freeing his length unexpectedly, and used the little space he’d left to sneak around him, dropping herself on the throne in front of him.
She could see the haze of pleasure in his eyes drowning out all of his other thoughts, and chuckled once more. Adorable~
He whined at the lost pleasure and almost immediately began trying to climb her and resume his mindless thrusting, but Kaede’s hand on his chest was enough to stop him. He stared up at her with his eyes full of begging, at least until Kaede spread her legs, revealing her drenched pussy to him.
The effect was immediate. Shu-chan's pleasure-drunk brain suddenly realized that, more than cum, he could breed~ And it didn't wait a moment to do exactly that, hurriedly pulling Kaede's sticky panties to the side, before plunging his thick cock inside of her depths, making her moan throatily.
His wild thrusting became even wilder as he battered her insides, desperate to fill her up with his seed, to mark her as his forevermore. Of course, Kaede's tight love tunnel was far from helping him calm down. His cock was choked by her warm wetness, her muscles spasming around him as he pulled her first orgasm of the night from her.
Kaede smiled sultrily as she observed Shu-chan's pleasure-distorted face from behind her fluttering eyes. His tongue was hanging from his mouth like a wild dog's, and, well, she simply couldn't resist that invitation.
She leaned down to meet him, and quickly stole his lips and kissed him hungrily, wrestling his tongue into submission, for while Shuichi might have the energy and wildness of a beast, Kaede knew how to tame it with ease, and forced him to dance to her tune as she stared into his rolling eyes.
She broke the kiss for a moment, sending one of her hands to his ass, and grabbing a handful of his soft cheek, encouraging him to go even faster, even harder, before forcing him to swallow her next moan.
She bit his lip unexpectedly, tugging at it slightly and making Shu-chan gasp.
"You're mine." She growled, her teeth working his lip over.
"Your body's mine. Your heart's mine. Your cum's mine~ and I want it! Give it to me! Cum!" Kaede demanded, meeting each of Shu-chan's thrusts with her own, and making the boy cry out in pleasure as she did.
And eventually, Shu-chan's resolve broke, as he emptied his balls into her, making Kaede gasp under him as her belly was filled with his warm seed, again and again, until the excess poured out from around his cock.
Shu-chan's body fell atop Kaede's as his strength left him, melting into her as his cock throbbed inside of her.
"Yours. Yours yours yours yours-" He was mumbling under his breath and making Kaede's own heart melt.
"What a good boi you are, Shu-chan~" She praised, squeezing him against her as she did, and making Shu-chan moan once more, though he didn't so much as twitch a muscle.
He was tired it seemed~ Well, Kaede would just have to make sure he slept comfortably, wouldn't she? And, well…
She'd deal with the mess in the morning. Or maybe she'd just steal Shu-chan away to her home and deal with the director's complaints the day afterward, or even the day after that.
She wouldn't allow Shu-chan to leave until he'd satisfied her, or maybe not even then.
She could use a cute little hubby after all~
