He doesn't understand why he gets so nervous around you. He's not scared of you at all, not like he is around Blackhat--you were, in fact, the opposite of him. So why was he getting all fidgety and jumpy around you? It didn't make sense how he could feel so comfortable around a person, yet still feel so anxious all the while

Over time, he becomes a bit protective over you without really knowing it. He'll push you out of his lab when he's doing a dangerous experiment, or will give you the easiest job on missions (besides 5.0.5.'s). He tries to refrain himself from acting this way sometimes, he doesn't want you to feel like you're incompetent in any way--all his intention was to keep you safe! And now he's spiraling because he doesn't know why he feels so protective over you

Sometimes you'll compliment him, and he feels as if Blackhat himself just told him he did a great job on a mission. Except, this time his heart was beating faster, his palms were more sweaty than usual, it felt stuffy inside his mask, and-- ..Goddammit, why is he getting so nervous again?? He then realizes he hasn't responded to you yet, and mutters a small 'thank you' that made him sound a lot less confident he wished he could've sounded

Eventually, he got sick of it. He needed to find out what the hell was going on. So imagine his mini panic attack when he googles 'why is my heart beating so fast', and Google tells him his heart is failing

It's not like he doesn't know what love is, no, far from it. He's seen his average romcoms (and hated them), he knows what love should be like. Hell, he knows the entire chemical formula for the damn feeling. He was just never able to understand what others felt when they said they were 'in love'. Until now.

For him, it was unbelievably weird to have his heart race for someone that wasn't out of fear. Honestly, he.. liked the feeling. If it weren't for how he reacted to it.

Dr. Flug wasn't this nervous around you before. Normally, not at all. When you hung out at his lab, he would ramble on and on about his inventions, only checking in every few minutes to make sure you weren't getting bored of him or anything. But now, knowing his feelings for you, he feels horribly nervous around you. This affects every little thing he does, and he hates it.

When you hang out with Flug now, he realizes how truly lucky he is for you to even do more than just glance over him. Him? Why him? Why not spend your time with anyone else..?

Then he realizes you actually care about him. His existence. He isn't.. invisible to you. And suddenly he's over the moon.

Right--about the way Flug acts around you. Every conversation you have with him suddenly has this weird air around it. You could tell he was more nervous than.. well, usual, but whenever you asked he just waved it off as some upcoming mission or invention he still had to work on. You'd normally decide not to dwell on it too much.

On his end, he thought he was doing everything horribly wrong in front of you. "Catch you on the flip side"??? When has he ever said something like that?! Not to mention his stammering practically increased by 5 times its normal amount, as he was fumbling over most words in every single sentence he dared mutter around you. If he wasn't talking, he was tripping over his untied shoelaces (he almost always had them tied, god, what happened to his schedule-?) or spilling some important chemical all over his workspace.

Overall, he was more fidgety than normal, and he hated it. It made him want to tear his bag out. Why couldn't he just be normal around you? Now he's just worse than he ever was. All his attempts of impressing you were down the drain at this point. But at least he hasn't completely drawn you away--I mean, you still liked hanging out with him! At least, he thinks you like spending time with him.. Part of him is still just the slightest bit insecure.

His worry for you has increased when you go on missions with him now. Part of him wants to just keep you in the hat ship so you don't get involved in something messy, but he knows that would be unfair for you. Flug just worries about you getting hurt, is all. He tries to focus on you a bit more during missions to make sure you're doing alright, but sometimes this just causes him to fuck up even more in front of you. Way to go, Flug. He suddenly feels as if his engineering and villainy PhDs didn't really do that much for him in the long run.

As we all know, Dr. Flug is far from someone to act on feelings. He acts on his logic, most of the time at least. With this in mind, he is the last person you'd think of as someone who would confess their feelings to someone. In all honesty, even if he did muster up the courage to try, he would pass out on the spot. So, he just tries to wait it out until this crush subsides. Spoiler alert: it doesn't!

Right, right--so, since he probably won't ever come clean about his feelings to you, you'll probably eventually just have to confess yourself. Unless Flug slips up one day and accidentally says he loves you in one of his long-winded rambles, in which would make a very awkward situation.

Under the circumstances that you do confess to him first, he.. well, Flug won't believe you at first. You've probably just gotten yourself mixed in with one of Demencia's pranks. A bit cruel, but nothing he couldn't handle. He will have to talk to Demencia later though, she's been getting on his nerves lately.. And besides, the whole spiel of you actually liking him, caring for him, and wanting to be with him? Yeah, okay.

So he laughs. And then he realizes you're serious. Oh. You're serious.. Oh.

Ohhhhhh crap. Okay! So you like him. It was.. It didn't feel real. But it was. And now that same feeling came back to him, the one where he feels his hands getting sweatier, his bag getting stuffier, and.. a new symptom. His legs turned flimsy, and could now just barely hold his body. He leaned onto his desk for support. If only he could see how red his bag was at the time.

And yes, you were able to calm him down, but even as the day progressed, Flug still couldn't swallow the situation. He laid in his bed unmoving, still, and.. awake. He couldn't get his mind off of anything that had happened that afternoon. He's probably pinched himself at least 6 times now, making sure he wasn't just dreaming or anything. After the 7th pinch.. yep, he wasn't.

Eventually, this surprise faded away into another new emotion.

Hi!! I just wanted to ask if you have any headcannons about flug? ( sorry I’ve never asked for headcannons before. )

Hello!! I don't have MANY headcanons, but here's the ones I have:

✈️I would say that Flug really likes animals, but he's allergic to cats (and is a bit afraid of BIG dogs, since one bit him when he was a kid). He also love bears (due to 5.0.5, of course).

✈️Secretly, he has a list of enemies that mainly includes: Goldheart and all those who bullied him in the past.

✈️Once, he made a hat that would be able to give super intelligence to anyone who wore it. Naively, he handed it over to Black Hat, who took it as an insult. Now, in addition to being careful to make his inventions perfect, he also tries not to hand out anything that would be offensive to his boss.

✈️He hates smoke of ANY kind: cigarettes, tobacco, cigar, smoking pipe (and all variations of these things).

✈️As seen, Flug copies some of Black Hat's mannerism (unintentionally or not). So when he's alone, he likes to imitate his boss's harsh voice to improve his 'villainous attitude'.

✈️Just like his puns, Flug's food is average. At some point, he had to learn to fend for himself, and consequently make his own food. He only knows the basic to survive, and after several failed attempts, he learned to cook some things that he and 5.0.5 like to eat.

✈️Secretly, Flug likes to watch some Soap Operas (and even cries watching them in certain situations). But if you ask him about it, the scientist quickly will deny it.

✈️From being covered head to toe 24/7, Dr Flug lacks from vitamin D.

Villainous Theory: Flug and Miss Heed's Relationship (and Other Stuff) Based on Flug's Journal Notes

Making this theory and analysis based on compiling all the interactions and hints in Episode 6, Flug's notes on Miss Heed in Flug's Journal, some hints in Shrunken Rescue, and a photo posted by Alan on twitter.

Personal notes about "MISS HEED":

Cecilia Amanda Kelly, this is how I met her for the first time.

Cecilia and I met at Black Hat Institution, I remembered we were both studying evil science. Back then it didn't used to be as popular as it is now.

At that time I was very suspicious, my classmates and other students in the Institute were deplorable villains who sought to make me suffer for various reasons, either because it was for homework or for pure pleasure. So when she approached me it took me a while not to think it was with some evil intent. But after awhile, I don't know how she managed it, but we struck up a friendly relationship. I guess it was because, somehow, at that time we were both "weirdos".

Flug said he and Miss Heed were both studying evil science. My guess is that the students in (Image 1) photo are in the evil science class, as they were also the same students as shown in the (Image 2) in the class Flug and Miss Heed are in.

Miss Heed, being obsessed with being popular and loved, probably didn't show any interest in approaching Flug before Flug was developing his thesis, because he was unpopular (This was confirmed as Flug mentions in the second paragraph above that he was considered a weirdo amongst others and students often approach him deplorable reasons like for homework or to bully him)

So, (Image 1) probably shows Flug's indirect interaction with Miss Heed, where the evil science students were taking a class photo which shows even before being a hero she always has the desire to be the centre of attention no matter how it inconveniences and affects other people. This also probably gave her a bad first impression on her classmates and cemented her as an attention seeking weirdo. (This is confirmed, when the mace haired girl in their science class picture in (Image 1) that Miss Heed ruined probably had a grudge for Miss Heed ruining the photo (or had some more negative interactions with her off screen) was glaring daggers at Miss Heed at (Image 3).)

As mentioned earlier, Flug probably knows Miss Heed exists and is in the same class as him because of that "photo taking stunt in (Image 1), but probably never interacted before this. So in the evil science class in (Image 2) was probably their first interaction.

Flug mentions he was suspicious of Miss Heed when she first approached him because his classmates and students often approach him for evil intentions, either for homework or to make them suffer for their own amusement.

(As shown in (Image 20) This suspicion ended up being proven right because Miss Heed had ulterior motives to steal Flug's thesis to manipulate people's emotions to become popular which probably drove her to become persistent getting Flug to trust her and befriend her so that she can steal his thesis when he drops his guard around her once it's done.)

Flug mentions in paragraph 2 that he was not sure how, Miss Heed did they ended being friends. His guess was probably because both of them are considered weirdos amongst their peers. I theorised means Miss Heed was able to gain Flug's trust and befriend him despite his suspicions because both their eccentric personalities and quirks just clicked and just bounced off each other well. So I feel like although Miss Heed still has ulterior motives, she ended up genuinely liking Flug because of this reason and Flug probably feels the same way. As you can see in (Image 3) both of them bonding by wearing Halloween costumes and acting quirky and not caring how they appear to others.

Cecilia was never very apt at evil science, I remember asking her several times why she was taking that class, but she would just tell me that she wanted to be able to develop something special that would make the world see that she was special too. Somehow she managed to inspire me and that's when I started to personally teach her everything I knew about evil science.

I remember it was difficult to get her to concentrate, she was a very lazy student and easily angered when things didn't go right the first time, but after a lot of effort I taught her enough so that she could become the second best in the class.

These images are examples of Miss Heed's personality traits, as mentioned above.

Flug made a thesis in high school on "manipulating the limbic system through external means and its effect on human emotional response and affection" as shown in (Image 5) using serotonin (C₁₀H₁₂N₂O) as shown in (Image 4) in his stolen notes.

Despite Miss Heed's inaptness in evil science, Flug mentions her goal to "create something special so that people would see she is special" inspired him to teach her everything he knows and as a result she was able to become second best in evil science class was able to understand Flug's thesis on after she stole the it from him hence enabling her to modify it to make people fall in love with her.

I believe the reason why Flug was inspired to teach her is because he also has the same desire to be recognised and acknowledged by people for his hard work and genius, which is why he craves for BlackHat's approval.

This also may be another reason why they were able to fall for each other: because they relate to each other.

In (Image 7) the formula was said to be temporary because it came from an incomplete formula, meaning that Miss Heed stole it while Flug was still working on it, showing her impatient nature, probably thinking that 'she got what she wanted, no need for the formula to be complete’, not knowing this will bite her in the ass later on, when she needed Flug.

(Another possible reason is because the serotonin she produced was in low quality, hence Flug was needed to refine her self esteem in (Image 6) to produce better serotonin for her formula)

Flug mentions that Miss Heed has a difficult time concentrating. An example of that can be seen in (Image 8), during the end of the Episode 6 Miss Heed was trying to convince Flug to give her attention and get her out of the hero rehabilitation facility but she kept getting distracted by her vengeful nature of wanting GoldHeart to come after Flug for making her lose her popularity and her obsession for GoldHeart, hoping that he comes for her as well.

Flug says that she is a lazy student. An example of this can be seen in (Image 9) where instead of trying to improve on her own self-esteem (Image 6) by herself (or maybe getting a therapist to help her) to perfect her formula, she instead takes the more difficult route of mind controlling a group of scientists to do it for her.

Flug says that she is easily angered when things don't go right the first time. An example of her anger is shown in (Image 10) when she was infuriated and snapped at 5.0.5. for looking at an old photo of her. I think the reason might be because she doesn't want people to see her pre-hero look because she is insecure and hates her old appearance which people will most likely judge her for and also another reason might be because later on when she thought Flug wanted a photo with her, she says that she will give him one for 100 (dollars?, gifted subs? maybe), so she might be upset of 5.0.5. getting a photo of her for free.

Or when she got angry and shoves Flug into a vat of her formula (which might have side effects) for making her do something to lose her popularity, which shows she does love Flug, but she loves being popular even more.

One day she texted me at midnight, crying, telling me she needed help. I snuck out of my dorm in area B of the Institute, managed to sneak past the night guards, and made my way to her dorm in area C. She was at a window crying and I sat down with her and we talked, after a while she told me that me being there made her feel better.

However, this began to be a recurring event, that would happen at least 3 times a week, she would text me to come over and her mood would change radically every time I did. I asked her many times why she only wanted to complain to me instead of implementing any of the solutions I suggested but she just gave me the plane*, not literally, otherwise I would have been very happy.

(*Note: "gave me the plane" (daba el avión), is a Mexican expression meaning to ignore someone)

(Image 11) escabullirme de los guardias (sneak past the guards): Flug, wears a guard uniform when he sees Miss Heed, meaning he probably sneaked past the guards to see her, like he did during their academy days.

(Image 12) cada que llegaba cambiaba su humor radicalmente (her mood changes radically every time I arrived): Miss Heed's mood changes from suffering withdrawal from the lack of attention to happiness as she exclaimed "Kenny! It's you! You came to see me!". She probably had the same response in school when she was asking for attention from Flug to satisfy her attention seeking obsession. Her text sounded very sad and she appeared very sad before she saw Flug her mood change to happy.

Miss Heed is known for her fake persona and acting, so it's definitely a high possibility that she was faking being sad at school to get Flug to come to her and give her attention.

When Flug risked himself getting caught and punished by the guards at school (BlackHat Institute is an evil school, so they probably have some horrible punishments for those breaking the rules), it probably made her feel "loved" and enabled her attention seeking obsession and she additionally developed some feelings for him when he endangers himself just to see her and make her feel better.

(Image 13) diciéndome que necesitaba ayuda (telling me she needed help): Miss Heed tries to get Flug to help her. Flug appears to pity or feel sorry for her possibly both for her self destructive attention seeking behaviour and the situation she is currently in.

(Image 14, 15) le pregunté por que buscaba sólo lamentarse conmigo en vez de implementar alguna de las soluciones qué le sugería, pero creo que solo me daba el avión (I asked her many times why she only wanted to complain to me instead of implementing any of the solutions I suggested but she just gave me the plane): Flug tries to offer Miss Heed advice but she ignores it says she just wants attention. This happens again before Flug leaves saying that she needs to love herself but she ignores him and wants him to love her.

(Image 16) yo estuviera ahí la hizo sentir mejor (me being there made her feel better): In school Flug sat down and talked to Miss Heed and afterwards she said to Flug that him being there made her "feel better". "Feel better" probably means to satisfy her desire for attention. In a similar situation in the rehab centre, Miss Heed is shown to "feel better" after she starts to talk about her GoldHeart obsession and Flug looks like he's seen it all before.

When Flug met up with Cecilia in the hero rehabilitation facility, he probably had flashbacks in his BlackHat Institute days when he met up with her. How he would sneak past the guards and keep coming to her when she needed help and her mood changing radically every time he came to see her and to offer her advice, but she ignored it because in reality she was just "crying wolf" to get attention from him.

The look he gave her in (Image 16) was like "Yeah not this time".

Before Flug left, Flug tried to give her one last piece of advice: that she needed to love herself first (meaning no matter how many people or how much others love you, she will never be truly happy until she loves herself) but yet again she ignores Flug and just begs for his love and attention.

It gives off a vibe that like the boy who cried wolf ending, that when she really needed help, the person who she calls for help, Flug doesn't believe her and that no matter how much you try to help a person they cannot be helped unless they are willing to help themselves first.

One day without warning Cecilia didn't show up for class, for the next few days she didn't show up either. I waited for her where we usually read in the central courtyard for several days, but she didn't show up. Coincidentally, it was also the day I discovered that progress on the thesis that I was working on had been stolen by another student who had a rivalry with me.

robados por otro estudiante que tenía rivalidad conmigo (stolen by another student who had a rivalry with me): Flug thought a rival student had stolen his thesis when it was actually Miss Heed, perhaps he thought it was the jock in the helmet, thinking that he must have taken it as the jock wasn't around Flug when he last had his theis and was there when he realised it was missing.

The student also appeared in (Image 1) in Flug's evil science photo and in (Image 2) in evil science class which appears to be enthusiastically poking on a dead squid/octopus (thing?) showing his enthusiasm for class and evil science, similar to Flug, so maybe he is Flug's rival.

My guess is after Miss Heed stole Flug's thesis, she probably didn't go to evil science class afterwards, realizing that now she had what she wanted and she can become a popular and beloved hero that even GoldHeart will love. (He won't, as shown in Episode 6 she was still trying obsessively to make GoldHeart love her.)

Miss Heed is also shown to be obsessively looking at GoldHeart being cheered on by a crowd with the words on the screen translating to "GoldHeart our saviour" showing her obsession for him and her desire to be a hero to be loved and popular.

As shown earlier in (Image 4) Miss Heed had a Hero Monthly Magazine with GoldHeart on the cover, indicating she was long obsessed with him before that.

It is common to hear that students disappear inside the institute for various reasons, either because they went to some forbidden place, fell into a trap, ate something bad in the cafeteria, got into a fight, or simply did not pass the exam of a very strict teacher.

After Miss Heed stole Flug's thesis and suddenly left the school without a word, poor Flug really thought she might have died (from the reasons stated above) and genuinely was mourning and missed his friend after she was gone, from the way he was looking at the only photo he has with them together. He probably kept her head band as a way to remember her.

He is also seen writing a new thesis from the draft notes he had left after she stole it from him which enables him to create the foul flower.

Then, one day that I still remember very well, an emptiness and intense pain flooded me when I saw Cecilia on the TV in my dorm room in the news where she appeared next to my old enemy, Goldheart, who was naming her as the new member of his heroic league. "The Golden Rule".

Miss Heed and Flug were the same age and she became a member of "The Golden Rule" when Flug was still in Black Hat Institute as you can see he's still in uniform. So that means "The Golden Rule" was also formed around the time while Flug was in high school.

The searing pain Flug felt when he sees Miss Heed siding with his Arch-Enemy was enough for him to break out of Miss Heed's mind control.

Flug probably still had some feelings for Miss Heed, as he still kept the headband after she disappeared without a trace (and thought maybe she died), but probably discarded the item and decided to do his best to forget and get over her after seeing the news.

He succeeded having forget her as he didn’t remember who Miss Heed was until BlackHat brought up “The Golden Rule” and realised she was in GoldHeart’s team in (Image 23) and genuinely wondered if it was really Cecilia he was seeing again in (Image 20).

But despite that I think he still has some care for her as you can see him feeling some heart ache when he looked at an old photo in (Image 1) of her, looking sorry for her (Image 13) despite finding out she was responsible for stealing thesis and genuinely feeling bad for when he was about to leave in (Image 16).

I didn't see her again in person until the recent events in her city, Cosmopolis. Where we clashed and I discovered that it was really her who stole my school thesis research.

Flug was angry realizing that Miss Heed stole his thesis when she used his perfume on Ghoul. I felt like at that point he realised his whole friendship with her had been a lie and she was just using him to steal his thesis back at school. Which must have really hurt as she might have been his only friend at that school. And Miss Heed snapping at 5.0.5. was the last straw on the camels back to make him go off on her.

The worst mistakes I've had made been because I think more "with my heart than with my head" and for the case of this mission it was no exception.

I wonder if the mistake he was referring was the impulsively clashing with Miss Heed. Usually in these Hero Extermination missions, Demencia is the more impulsive one while Flug would be the planner. But for this case in (Image 20) Flug, became overcome with emotion with Miss Heeds’ betrayal and just charged impulsively without a plan which led him to be accidental mind-controlled by Miss Heed.

I also believe that "With my heart then with my head" can also refer to GoldHeart.

Flug places his GoldHeart stuff with a box labelled unpleasant and appears to look emotionally exhausted when thinking about GoldHeart and looking nervous and worried having to possibly deal with GoldHeart again in (Image 23) that he brought his backpack. (And also annoyed and fed up with him when he saw him spouting nonsense on tv in Episode 4 😂)

I kinda imagine Flug to care about GoldHeart and having a prior relationship, maybe as friends similar to Miss Heed, before realizing his true nature. He probably ignores the signs he noticed, willing to trust GoldHeart, hence the thinking with his heart instead of his head part before being betrayed and as a result they ended up having a fight which evolved into hatred. (Or at least from Flug's POV)

Flug felt absolutely heartbroken for seeing Miss Heed side with GoldHeart, so when Flug will eventually clash with GoldHeart I feel like the fight will be more emotional and intense than it was with Miss Heed.

Fortunately Demencia and 505 were able to escape from Cecilia's followers and help me get out of the hypnosis she put me in. In the end we were able to escape and expose Cecilia's plan to the world. The other heroes took her to a rehabilitation center for superheroes on the outskirts of the city.

Basically the summary for the second part of Episode 6. Miss Heed's obsession for GoldHeart was able to trigger a painful memory of Miss Heed siding with GoldHeart that enabled Flug to snap out of the mind control. 5.0.5. was able to distract Miss Heed's simps and Demencia was able to get past them to get to Flug. Flug was able to come up with a plan with Demencia's help. Miss Heed kisses Flug and breaks the simps out of their mind control. Miss Heed l pushes Flug out of anger and Demencia saves Flug and pushes Miss Heed instead into the formula vat instead and they manage to escape before the city went on lockdown. And Miss Heed was captured by her former followers and thrown in the hero rehab centre.

I'm convinced that Goldheart must somehow be behind this. I plan to go visit Cecilia today to get a little information about it and... to find out how she is doing.

“… to find out what she’s doing” Flug seems a bit hesitant to admit at the end that he does have some feelings for her. But despite he knows that he is being used (Image 16) by her again like he was in school when she asked him.

Flug being GoldHeart’s Arch-Enemy and associated with GoldHeart long enough to know him well enough to be a careful planner and have a bigger plan and ulterior motive behind doing things. He was able to conclude that GoldHeart something to do with Miss Heed mind-controlling all those people after Flug discovered that Miss Heed was associated with GoldHeart and his team, “The Golden Rule" and encountering her in her city Cosmopolis.

GoldHeart’s plan seems to involve the use of mind-control to end Villainy forever (with the help of his followers) and Flug’s has put a wrench in his plans, as shown in the end of the episode.

Miss Heed Stans Mad She Ain't Constantly Being Validated

The reason why is she is a user who does use people when she needs them and constantly tries to manipulate people. She's pissy that he calls her names even though she more than earned it by abusing his trust twice, stealing his thesis, and hypnotizing to be her love slave. Girl ain't some innocent sad girl but a messed up person who uses people. And again this is a draco in leather pants view of her. Just because she has self-esteem issues doesn't mean she's absolved of people not having animosity towards her especially if he twice screwed them over. Also one detail they forget to add is that Flug often had to get over security in order to see her which is pretty dangerous and could have gotten him punished. So, her doing this multiple times to time and again vent would make him resentful she makes him do something like that just to care only about her issues.

Also I would feel betrayed if someone I trusted joined an archenemy who is a complete dick to me. It again shows that she didn't value my friendship, especially if Flug told her how she felt and still went with him. This sounds not so different from Stolas stans that defend him at every chance, while bashing someone who dares say a negative thing about him because they rightfully are fed up with him. Heed is a complex character but again this just a rose tinted view on her by saying she wanted to just see him when again she wanted someone who constantly validated her at the detriment of their safety. A feature I have seen Stolas stands defend which is everything Stolas does is valid and the other party must validate him in order to be happy at all cost. That's pretty much a shit relationship.

Seriously, even after she's defeated and used him to get to Goldheart and complete her formula she feels entitled to Flug validating and loving her. And good thing Flug puts his foot down and gives her some good advice because he can keep enabling her to continue validating herself in order to bring up her self-esteem. It's kind of like with Diane and Bojack because sometimes you have to cut ties with friends who keep on making you feel guilty because of the baggage they bring. And again you know she wouldn't do the same favor for him if they were in the same situation. She's all take and not give which is another reason to put his foot down. I validate Flug having misgivings about her and talking shit because a girl pretended to be your friend while everyone in school was a bully to you would hurt someone even to this day.

In many people’s eyes, Freddie Mercury was one of the world’s most dynamic and charismatic rock frontmen.

Yet for the man who had the love of countless fans, he loved his cats most. Peter Freestone, Mercury’s personal assistant and cook, wrote in his book “Freddie Mercury” that his boss put as much importance on them as any human in his life.

Jacky Smith, who has run the Official Queen Fan Club for 21 years, said, “Most of them were from rescue centers. We have a charity [in the United Kingdom] called The Blue Cross, which takes care of sick animals. Freddie got at least two from them, if not more.”

According to Smith, cat toys were sent from fans to the office from time to time, as the cats’ photos occasionally appeared in the club newsletter. Plenty of fans have also named their own cats Freddie, a gesture that, Smith said, would have flattered the singer.

Mercury’s first cats were Tom and Jerry, who he and then-girlfriend Mary Austin brought in during the early days of the band. She kept them when their relationship ended in the late ‘70s, yet he still considered them his, as the album dedication for “Mr. Bad Guy” proves. Austin, who remained his closest friend, gave him a lovely longhaired bluepoint he named Tiffany.

The most famous feline of the Mercury clan is Delilah, a large, tri-colored tabby who was adopted in late 1987. As the lyrics to her song state, and Freestone’s book confirms, she took over the house and pretty much did whatever she pleased. “She was a real character, that lady!” agreed Smith. “Delilah was just kind of funny. She was a bit of a bully to the others, but was always first on his lap, first for food.” In turn, Mercury favored her as well, picking her up more than the others. She would also fun to him for safety when the other cats would gang up on her. She loved sleeping at the foot of his bed, or in the laundry baskets.

“They were all well-loved and cared for and mostly ‘normal’ pussycats,” Smith said. “They did get ordinary cat food at times, but mostly it was fresh chicken and fish prepared for them. I also remember he used to talk to them on the phone if he was away for a long time.”

Freestone also wrote that each cat got its own Christmas stocking filled with treats and toys. They had full run of the house and were permitted outside during the day to roam the gardens. There were the occasional territorial markings on the soft furnishings for his staff to clean up, and the quick trips to the vet if a cat showed the slightest hint of illness.

No one except for his closest friends knows how long Mercury was aware he was HIV-positive, although both Freestone and Smith believe that his cats knew. Their unconditional love gave him great comfort and company in his final days, and Mercury would never deny them admittance to his bedroom. Said Smith, “Cats have that fantastic sixth sense… I imagine that they knew he wasn’t well and spent more time with him. It’s just the thing cats would do.”

Before Mercury passed away on Nov. 24, 1991, he made sure all of his loved ones would be taken care of. “They all stayed at Garden Lodge with Mary, which is where they still are today,” said Smith. “I have heard reports of Delilah being spotted on top of the wall occasionally.”

Hhhhhhhhhh... So this is (maybe) a family photo. Dad, Mom, etc. Assuming the top is burned off like with other pictures of Flug, we can assume it’s HIS family.

Meaning, Flug has a brother, as the person the parents are touching isn’t Flug’s body type, and is too sloppy to be Flug (the man’s room gives it away quickly)

Not only that, it show’s Flug’s (possibly) older brother was the favorite of his parents. Not as smart or put together as Flug, as his clothes would tell us, so he’s most likely good at something else... like sports.

I’d say it’s because he’s either an identical twin, or looks a lot like his brother... Who’s a hero.

If Flug’s family isn’t dead (which I think is the most likely option) I think it’s very possible Flug’s older brother took the road of heroism, while Flug, trapped in his shadow, took to the dark side.

Angst headcanons for Dr flug?🙏

I like to think of a sad backstory for Flug sometimes. -Flug has a severely scarred face from a plane accident when he was young. Which is why he hides his face in nearly everything. From trash cans to paper bags. -His scars resulted in him being picked on by other kids, which led to the face-hiding. I also have a curious interest at why he's always covering his hands as well...maybe they're burned too? -Flug has a love-hate relationship with aircrafts. He might of had someone in his family be a pilot, which is how he got into an unfortunate accident so young. While he has a desire to fly, he also has a desire to destroy the things that made him so 'different' and miserable in the first place. Which is why he always attempts to crash any aircraft he is in, despite liking flying. -Flug wanted nothing more than respect from his peers. It's why he strived so hard to get under the terrifying wing of Black Hat. He wanted to be respected more than anything in the world...but it only wound up putting him in a situation where he fails to impress his boss repeatedly. Still leaving him hungry for that gratification that he seeks. -Flug's fear of sandwiches might have been bully related. As he had to acquire that paper bag somehow. It's possible a sandwich was involved in his first ever bag-mask wearing, along with a negative memory. -Flug is stuck in a perpetual cycle of pursuing satisfaction and gratification. Enduring anything to even get a taste of it and sympathizing with others when they say that they weren't listened to and left out in the cold. Flug is still capable of sympathy, even as a villain that serves Black Hat. -505 is a crutch to help Flug endure his daily life. It fulfills a role that he never had before and it even seems to show that Flug can be an excellent father if he ever had a child. Maybe Flug was looking for love at one point and eventually gave up the pursuit of love when he decided to cover his face forever. Maybe it's a repressed desire that is expressed through 505? -Flug has had a really rough life, so rough in fact, that he needs a cryochamber just to go to sleep at night to avoid horrible night terrors. It makes you wonder what came before Flug's life as a villain and what lies beyond that mask that he wears to shield him from a world that shunned and scorned him.

I headcannon Dr Flug as an Ex-Sidekick.

[Don't take this as fact I'm aware there's inconsitences but I could draw an AU of Flug as a sidekick]

So get this, Dr flug was GoldenHearts sidekick, the brain to his brawn. But as a scientist he was limited and couldn't experiment or push boundaries like he wanted to.

So like Miss Heed [How she was cancelled] Flug was gaslit by the heros/news could portray something else.

Penumbra has an instagram thats cannon to the Villainous plot and she was minding her own buisness and acted in self defence when a hero attacked her, but the news painted her as something else.

Anyway COLOUR theory.

Any other villain has dark colours in their pallete scheme, except Flug the typical Red/Blue/Yellow colours are usually something good guys wear.

Blue in villainous is a GOOD colour.

and 505 who is completely blue is shown here to show blue is nice while black hat is the worst.

Does this mean Dr flug is a good guy?

No.

In the show you see that even though he messes up alot. Take black hat out the picture, and Flug flourishes and is actually a competent villain. [Like the miss Heed episode]

In villainous we realise most villainous are misunderstood while the heros are just jocks who are bullys, it'd make sense if Side kicks were neglected as well.

Dr flug probably left Golden heart as they're ideals didn't allign and maybe what Dr flug saw as science and helping the world such as the flower that can change peoples emotions Golden heart called him out on it and said he was wrong.

But now Golden heart wants to use Flugs thesis to 'erase' villainy as in remove the choice and brainwash people. Sure its wrong when a villain does it but if a hero's do it as well and its okay?

SO inconsitences-

The fact that Dr flug was at Villain school proved that he and Golden heart were too young to have to be heroes they would've been children. aka, the timeline doesn't match up AND-

the fact that the news report said "miss Heed kisses villain Dr flug." And the news doesn't refer to him as former sidekick.

But still I love the idea ^^;

OK LET ME EXPLAIN SOME STUFF ABOUT THIS SHIP THAT I LOVE.

Like these dumbasses talk so much smack (especially Demencia) but they are eachother's best friends. Flug has other friends! He's the communicator for the Organization. He deals with the clients personally and keeps touch with some of em, even hanging out and working with other scientists and like minded people.

Demencia makes all these jokes at his expense for being a nerd, but she's the one that's more of a loner. Her personality is difficult to work with, and she's fairly easy to provoke. She might not realize this is what keeps people away from her (she might just chalk it up to them being intimidated, and therefore, inferior) but she subconsciously knoqs that Flug is her most stable connection and the only one that keeps coming back. I can imagine that'd make her feel a little possessive when another friend of Flug's starts taking more time than usual away from her.

Meanwhile, from Flug's perspective, things may be a bit darker... atleast the way I see it. He likes his bonds with people but Demencia is the only person that can get on his nerves that he wouldn't make an elaborate plan to get rid of in a day. He likes her. He doesn't like her annoyances, her teasing, or some of her peculiarities, but her dependence on him is something he craves. I might go more in detail on how I picture Flug's emotions for Demencia differ. In short, he likes that someone with the characteristics of a bully likes him. It gives him some twisted satisfaction. My boy Flug is a sadist 😔

The heart shaped dust on Cecilia's photo, makes me think she was really Flug/Kenny's first crush!

Wait was she supposed to be a villain?? She is the the Black Hat school/university!!! 👀👀 Maybe she decided to become a hero since she loved Goldheart,and that would explain why she stole Flug's project, true hero's don't steal!!

Maybe she used to love/like Flug/Kenny maybe both of them where nerds and bullied by the others students, nobody liked her or noticed her, except Kenny and she wanted to be loved and liked by everyone. At at some point she developed a crush on Goldheart, who at that time was the cool guy, but he never noticed her or the 3 of them were really good friends, Kenny loved Cecilia but she loved Goldheart, maybe she even confessed her love to him, but he saw her just as a friend and she always felt insecure about herself because of his rejection, so desperate she decided to use Kenny's crush on her against him to steal his invention!!! And then when Goldheart became a superhero, she decided to become one to get noticed by him!! Wow what a great reason to become a hero eh!

Or since she was a villainess and nobody liked her cause she was a bad girl, one day she met Goldheart, he made her feel loved and accepted her for who she was, so she eventually fall for him, so she left her villainous life to fight side by side with him,

Whatever has happened between the thre of them I'm glad that despite her taking advantage on him, he has no hard feelings for Cecilia, and wished her the best and to be happy, he even gave her a good advice too so I think he still cares/loves her, slightly at least.

Villainous Fanfic: Conflicting

Basically a yandere GoldHeart and Flug fanfic.

"I trusted you, Leth! You're a hero in training for P.E.A.C.E. Academy and you knew I'm villain student in Black Hat Institution but you kept it a secret all this time to just use me to get ahead and become the top hero!" Flug yells at GoldHeart as he enters his boyfriend's room, confronting him with all the evidence he complied of his decit.

“Flug, calm down, you’re getting worked up over nothing,” GoldHeart says calmly, as if he knew this would happen eventually, but there was a flicker of fear and paranoia of Flug leaving him sliding over Goldheart's eyes and if Flug hadn't known him he would have missed it.

“Don’t you love spending time with me? Don't you love sleeping with me? Don’t you love being together with me? Don't you love me?” with every question GoldHeart walks closer to Flug in large, determined yet careful steps, like a hunter approaching a deer.

“Yes, but you-” Flug tried to get the conversation back on track as GoldHeart steps closer and closer towards him.

“And look, Flug!” GoldHeart spoke over Flug, not letting him finish so that he can complete his own walk towards Flug from the other side of the room. He gently reached out his hand to cup Flug's face and slowly caressing his cheek. Despite being hurt by GoldHeart's deception, Flug leaned in on instinct making GoldHeart's eyes soften and quelling some of his worries at seeing his boyfriend's reaction.

“Remember what I told you that I'm going to achieve something that would make life better for the both of us?” GoldHeart put his arm around Flug's shoulder in an inescapable hold to guide him to his study table across the room. He grabbed a stack of papers from the desk and shoved it towards Flug's face, eyes gleeful and bright with frenzy.

“This is a P.E.A.C.E. contract, Flug! Thanks your tutoring I became the top of my grade and P.E.A.C.E. gave the best hero contract they could offer. I'm getting my own city, my own bulding, a seven figure starting salary, unlimited resources to stop crime and...I get to choose my own team.” Flug looked away from GoldHeart, not liking the way he possessively stared at him as he said those last words. "Just think Flug! Once you become a hero, we can have all of this together."

GoldHeart's sudden proposition shocked Flug, it wasn't even a proposition as Flug realised GoldHeart didn't ask, more like a declaration.

He came here with the intention of confronting his boyfriend for keeping secrets that he was a hero student and knows that Flug was villain student, yet still continuing their tutoring sessions to get ahead of all the other heroes in his school. Now he wants him to leave everything behind and become a hero? How did it come to this? “I still have a few months of school, Leth,” Flug explains after swimming out of his torrent thoughts.

“Fuck school, Flug!” GoldHeart growled vehemently, his hands moved to hold Flug tightly by the shoulders. Flug had never seen this side of his boyfriend before. "You said so yourself, those students beat the shit out of you and bully you for no reason while the teachers just sit there and watch! Why stay at that garbage villain school anyways?!”

"I need to go to school Leth because I'm going to become a certified villain once I graduate,” Despite the racing of his heart, Flug tries his best to sound firm and stand his ground with GoldHeart.

GoldHeart tightened his grip around Flug's shoulders. “Fuck Villainy, too...” GoldHeart bit out on a snarl, eyes glowing gold.

For the first time ever, Flug was truly afraid of his boyfriend. The harsh golden gleam to GoldHeart's vehement stare also reminded Flug that he's is actually a superhero with super inhuman strength that can break down steel buildings as if they were toothpicks, let alone overpower a normal human like Flug. The walls of GoldHeart's room felt tighter and tighter.

“You really think becoming a Villain will make your life any better?!” GoldHeart's voice was ice like liquid nitrogen and grating like broken glass as his hands slid down to Flug’s waist, encasing him close to his body with a posessive hug to hold him in place. “Your gonna live your life on the run and heroes will literally hunt you down to beat the shit out of you if they see you doing crime! How is that any better from being bullied?!"

"I'm not going to be on the losing end Leth!" Flug snapped, angrily struggling against GoldHeart's constricting grip, but the hero held him in place.

"Sure your smart, so maybe you will get some success and escape now and then," GoldHeart shrugs nonchalantly. "But Flug, didn't you also always say you want people to recognize you for your genius? Tell me how the is being a villain, who are hated by everyone in society is going to help you achieve that?" GoldHeart challenges Flug looking at him directly in the eye.

"I do want people to acknowledge me for my genius. But not like this. Not if I have not if I have to sell out to become a hero, not if I have go against my morals and beliefs to get ahead," Flug looks at GoldHeart back in the eye in return with conviction.

GoldHeart sighs, "The grass isn't greener on your side Flug," he responds calmly, the opposite from his earlier tone, surprising Flug. "Villains do just as morally compromising things as heroes. And you say heroes are sell outs but don't villains also sell their soul to Black Hat to get what they want, how is that any different?" GoldHeart elaborates as if it was obvious.

Flug was stuntlock at GoldHeart's words. It's true, Flug had to admit, both villains and heroes do the same compromising things. He turns away from GoldHeart, not sure how to respond to that revelation.

GoldHeart smiles softly, as if reading his boyfriend's mind and knows what he's thinking. He gently places his hand on Flug's chin and moves it so that his boyfriend is facing him again, "If you become a hero you'll get all the recognition you deserve and you won't have to worry about being bullied...I'll eliminate anyone who even tries," GoldHeart adds darkly.

'Holy shit,' Flug thought. 'That was wow.'

“When were together nobody can stop us, nobody can hold us back,” GoldHeart continues, going back to cradle Flug’s face between his hands and bore into him with fever in his brown eyes. “We'll have the world in the palm of our hands. You and me, together."

"Leth I...," Flug sighed out a wavering breath. Being a hero never tempted him before, it shouldn't be so tempting! But the way GoldHeart said 'You and me, together' lit a flame in Flug’s fluttering heart as the potential future of becoming a hero together with his boyfriend and being recognized for his hard work and talents flashed vividly before Flug’s eyes making it all seem so wonderful and beautiful.

In school, his life had been so lonely and miserable ever since Cecilia died, until Herbert Leth walked into it and made him feel things he thought he would never feel again, it wasn’t like he wanted to go back to being alone again.

But even though he realised villains and heroes are somewhat similar and the wonderful future he could have together with GoldHeart ...Flug has worked too hard, for too long, putting his blood, sweat, tears, and everything he had to become a villain. It was his passion, dream, and goal ever since he decided to enroll in Black Hat Institution to study evil science. He can't just immediately decide to give up on everything he worked for and everything he believed in just to become a hero right now. This was all too much for him to process at one go.

“Can you give me some time to think about it?" Flug felt GoldHeart’s arms tightened around him as he says those words. The ‘what’s there to think about, Flug?’ question already forming at the back of GoldHeart’s throat. But at the sight of Flug's teary and wide eyed overwhelmed expression, the tightness around GoldHeart’s eyes softened, feeling guilty for making his boyfriend cry.

Flug was surprised at his boyfriend's sudden change in demeanour as GoldHeart's grip loosen and instead pulled Flug's body close into his chest, a hand on the back of Flug's head guiding his face to nestle into GoldHeart's neck as the hero rubbed his hair in soothing motions.

“I'm sorry for overwhelming you Flug. I'll give you some time to think about it, alright," GoldHeart mummers and peppers Flug's face with gentle kisses.

"Thank you, Leth," Flug was glad at least GoldHeart listened to him on this one thing and finally hugs GoldHeart back, making the hero sigh in satisfaction and melt at the contact from his beloved boyfriend.

GoldHeart says he needs a month to finalise his contract and settle some other stuff with P.E.A.C.E. and asks if he can get Flug's answer by then and Flug agrees ...

And for a few weeks, things went back to the way they were. He and GoldHeart would go on dates, be intimate and spend as much of their free time together as a couple.

But at the back of Flug's mind he knew he was postponing the inevitable. He thought long and hard about his difficult decision and it was tearing him apart. Every time he sees GoldHeart's sincere smile when they spend their days together it makes him feel so conflicted as it reminds him of the inevitable decision he has to make and he wonders sadly if they will be able to continue to have happy times like this like this once he finally makes his choice:

Be a hero and have a future with GoldHeart or Sacrifice everything to follow his dreams to become a villain.

I LOVE Sunblast's arc! It's such a great development to see him become a *true* hero by befriending a villain! It's very heart warming ngl. However, I think our lil lightbulb here is going to go to the dark side in the end. I mean it was even kinda forshadowed in the pilot (the hat plane landing on his statue) which could be rlly interesting to see! That or he would at least become an Antihero of sort idk i just think him leaving the hero community is the logical next step.

Also! Remember in the pilot when he almost wrecked Flug just because he was a nerd? I mean sure we can toss it as a him being a typical bully and all, but then i thought what if it was because he got his powers due to some science accident just like Penny? And then some other scientists proddes him to 'use his powers' like Penumbra intended, or what if in the city he came from there was some nerd controling everything and shadowing him and so that's why he hates em so much? Lol cuz his reaction was really atypical of that of a bully ya know. He didn't immediatly mock Flug or sth. He was rlly enraged.

Anyway, lol sorry for the long ask haha but i'm having feels and i love your blog so much! You're like the Black Hat of this fandom XD (haha altho not as evil but you know what i mean XD)

He now has seen the other side of the coin and can probably see that the system they have of 'heroes' and 'villains' is very flawed, so I think he'd still consider himself a hero but will call out others that do shit wrong like Miss Heed. Perhaps in the eyes of society, he will become a villain because of that though.

You will love Heed, dammit x3 And yeah that was one of the surprising things to see an actual character arc in the show, especially for an antagonist. I'm really surprised. It puts a whole new perspective on her now, like how she says that she was born with powers....when she actually was experimented on. Also, her constantly wearing a gold collar around her neck....like....honey, no TwT

Also, Demencia and Flug having an actual sibling relationship? You mean these two can actually have a conversation without harming or bullying each other??? Wow! It feels like they actually are friends, you know? Demencia is definitely softer to him compared to her pretty much trying to kill him in the Orientations. Plus this:

Finally, BH acting somewhat like his grumpy old man self again. He's actually being written comedically and is getting involved more often. My favorite joke is him trying to use a tablet just for his claw to pierce through it x3 I mean, there are still some edgy, sexy moments to him, but they are small. Nothing beats him randomly riding on a flaming horse and then just leaving the three or yeeting a cup to point and laugh at Flug XD
