As someone who lost her dad suddenly almost two months ago, I have felt this so hard.
I will never get over how weird it feels to have tragic and emotional chapters of your life where you just also still go to work, and the grocery store, and see funny videos online all while feeling such paralyzing fear and heartache
life just goes on no matter what

I know these protestors don’t give a rat’s ass about Palestinians. I knew this since Oct. 7th, but I feel recent happenings help put the nail in the coffin.
Sinwar is dead. And these people celebrate him as a hero, a warrior, and a leader in “the cause”.
This man was nicknamed the “butcher of Khan Younis”. Over many years, he’s been killing Palestinians on suspicion of colluding against Hamas. In 2019, Palestinians marched in the “We Want to Live” Gaza protest against Hamas’ rule. Sinwar helped lead the security crackdown on these protestors. They spray-fired into the crowd, killing several people. They rounded up most others and tortured them for going against Hamas.
No one cared about them then. And no one cares about them now. You didn’t care when Palestinians were fighting for their lives against Hamas in 2019. And now, you celebrate a man as a war hero who was known to torture and slaughter Palestinians.
This fake activist shit in the west is getting old.

So, my dad is dead. Yeah, he had a seizure and collapsed and broke his neck. He’s gone. I’m never going to see him again.

just wanted to give you a big kudos for all the work you do to keep this fandom alive! I probably wouldn’t have ever known about Villainous if I hadn’t stumbled onto your blog, and now i’m hooked.
I know we just have to be patient (a lot stuff is happening behind the scenes etc) but it’s just so frustrating that the show has still not had any real advertising in the US and it’s been almost a decade now since the show was even picked up by CN, and still nothing has really been announced about future episodes. No wonder that CN studios is going bankrupt if this is how they treat their shows)
Thank you! I'm glad to hear my blog is still helping folks ^^
And yeah, it's not as easy as it seems. It's a tough world for animation studios/animators out there. Let's hope we get news soon!

Guys, there needs to be a horror supernatural action series about saints because I’ve been reading stories of dragons and oh, man!
There is this Byzantine Orthodox Turkish woman saint named Marina who is so powerful that she managed to kill two demon dragons on her own. She killed the first one when he swallowed her, but he exploded due to her holiness. Then when his brother showed up, Marina grabbed him and beat the crap out of him.
I would watch a whole series about Marina. #powerfulwomen #extremesaint #underratedsaints #thiswomanneedsanactionseries

For most people, Rachel Lillis was Misty and Jessie from Pokemon. For me? There's only one role I remember her for.
Tumblr media
I heard she thought she was miscast as Utena. If that's true, I disagree. Utena is someone who was trying to a prince, but it was as much a role she was playing as Anthy was acting as a princess. Lillis brought out Utena's vulnerability extremely well. I will miss her.

Need to tell a funny story.
One of my two cats Rona, a 13-year-old small, fluffy, female black cat, can’t stand my younger sister’s cat Sylvester, a normal sized male black and white cat whose about 2 and looks like the cartoon character. She was meowing at me tonight when I was getting ready to shower and I had no idea what her problem was. After my shower, I finally got downstairs to see Sylvester exit the garage and go back on the back stairs. I shut the door going to the back stairs so Rona doesn’t start a fight with him and she walks into the garage and gets her dinner.
That was when it hit me. Rona wanted me to get Sylvester out of the garage like I’m some kind of bouncer so she could eat her dinner without having to look at him. Cats are the pettiest creatures alive. I swear.

Yes, I’m writing a Jewish princess based on Judith, @partyinvalhalla .
hi! are there any readings you would consider vital for a gentile wanting to learn more about judaism (or anything to avoid)? i would so appreciate any recs or advice you have, but please dont feel obligated. i hope you are well and thank you so much
Hi! Thank you so much for asking!
So here are some websites I wholeheartedly recommend for people who are curious about Judaism and want to learn more, but may not know much. It's where I started when I first started learning more about it.
Myjewishlearning.com
Jewfaq.org
I also super recommend the YouTube channel BimBam! A lot of it is geared for children, yes, but like a child, you are starting from scratch. There's a lot of really good information absolute beginner information given in bite size chunks.
Here are some books I recommend! A lot of these are super dry. I'm sorry in advance.
Essential Judaism by George Robinson (it's a bit of a tome, but it's really FULL of information)
The Jewish Book of Why by Alfred Kolatch
To Be a Jew by Rabbi Hayim Donin
Living a Jewish Life by Anita Daimant
To Life! by Rabbi Harold Kushner
Settings of Silver by Stephen Wyler
I also thought Judaism for Dummies was pretty good. I know a lot of people disparage the For Dummies books, but it was a pretty user friendly book of basic information.
Any recs I missed Jumblr??
