IN GENERAL…Im just enjoying this so much. In your typical AU comic, itd be the other way around! Papyrus would get some good scenes, sure. But Sans is the one doing all the exploring, doing all the mysterying. BUT THIS AINT YOUR TYPICAL AU COMIC CAUSE of a bunch of reasons- BUT ALSO PAPYRUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

it took way too long but I am so so glad I finally found out about ts!underswap because my main complaint with undertale swap AUs was that they always swapped everything to the point of basically just being reskins of the original characters and not doing anything interesting with the concept of role-switching, so to see a swap fangame that keeps the characters’ original personalities which actually changes how they work in the role they’ve been swapped into is basically everything I ever wanted from a swap AU

You know, I've been thinking about how funny "Y o u d i r t y b r o t h e r k i l l e r" actually is.

In context, it's not funny at all. Poor Sans is grieving over the loss of his brother. He's bitter and angry at you for murdering him in cold blood. He just urged you to take responsibility for your actions and power and think about the choices you made. And then you just straight up said NO to his question about it. Yeah, he's gonna be pretty pissed. He's gonna take a jab at you. And it's gonna sting.

But then...

Out of context, it's just silly. He really couldn't think of a better insult? Bro sounded like he was two steps away from calling you a poop face or something like that.

Though, that also got me thinking... Maybe Sans just... isn't used to hurling out insults? As in, just pure insults. Not quips. Not playful jabs. But actually insulting someone. I can't think of any other circumstance where Sans would resort to throwing out insults. Well, besides the genocide route, but even then, he doesn't insult you, really. He calls you out and makes you face awful truths. He doesn't really insult you very much.

And outside of YOU, who else would he insult? Flowey? Dude doesn't even know him until the finale of the pacifist run! And hell will freeze over before insulting Papyrus even crosses Sans' subconscious mind. Little man has a kind word for almost everyone! He'll point out their most dorky characteristics and genuinely think that's what makes them awesome. Honestly, I can't think of a single circumstance that doesn't involve murder where Sans would get angry at anyone. So actually insulting someone would be pretty foreign for him. And he's BAD at it! XD

It's just another one of those traits that makes me wanna scoop him up and dote on him. I'm not ashamed to say it: he's a cutie! Him and Papyrus both! (If insults are strange for Sans, imagine PAPYRUS attempting an insult, lol.)

Anyway, I'm gonna stop before I start gushing like a proud mother.

Do you ever feel like the amount of people simply simping over you detracts from the value of running a Papyrus themed account? Like you can't go into interesting conversations because everyone is just being like "mwah mwah mwah :3" or leaving random love notes - or in some cases, bite marks. I don't know, I'd feel like I'd go insane if half of the asks are just "Can you bone me Senpairus?~". Do you have this issue, or do you have fun with it anyways?

I've been following this blog for a little while, but I just wanted to say that I love seeing Papyrus content on my dash so consistently, especially since it's been 7 years since the game came out :] Thanks for being such a positive and lovely person!

This was hard to write because I keep misspelling things and having to leave in the middle of typing to happy stim, but thank you so much!!!!!! It's no problem at all, I just really love Papyrus and being on this blog makes me happy and positive and I'm glad I can share it with you and everyone!!

yaaaaaayyy papyrus!! from what i recall, he didn't have a specific candy attached to him, just "nutcracker". and to be fair he does indeed look like nutcracker. so i gave him gumdrops <3 i looked a bunch of nutcrackers and none of them really had the closed coat design, but i decided to keep it long for funsies. made his bones orange to compliment sans and pastelled the yellow to fit better with the rest of it. his sprite was a pain in the ass to make like i'm just not used to recreating papyrus and the sprite was very different with the outfit. he's just jazzed up a bit due to him already having looked like a nutcracker but i think it's fun and nice regardless :) i think the red mouth is meant to be like that because nutcrackers often have their gums showing for whatever reason and they're always like bright red but tbh it just looks like he has gingivitis to me. i mean i kept it but still.

Undertale

Sans:

Chuckles as he watches you walk away. He doesn't do anything about it for a bit before he pulls the same thing with a little extra spice. He waits till you're doing something before coming over and pulling you close to him pressing kisses along your jawline till he kisses you on the lips and then walks away with a satisfied grin. What happens next is up to you.

Papyrus:

Blushes from the kiss and watches you walk away in shock. He thinks about it for the awhile not really realizing you're teasing him and just assuming you wanted to surprise him with a kiss before coming up with his own plan to kiss you back. He sets up an elaborate scheme that has way too many parts and it all ends with him giving you a little smooch. It's all really dramatic and a little goofy but in the end you got a kiss from your sweet datemate!

Underfell

Red:

Blushes bright red and then smirks before chasing after you. When he finally corners you he presses you up against the wall and slides a leg in between yours. "can't get away that easy sweetheart." He purrs as he leans in and kisses you passionately slipping his tongue into your mouth the first chance he gets as his hands slide down your body.

Edge:

Stunned for a second before smirking and grabbing you by the hips to pull you back into his chest. "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING PET." He'd say with a husky voice in your ear as his hands firmly hold you against him and he pressed himself into you. He bites down gently where your shoulder meets your neck and then releases you. "KEEP BEING A TEASE AND I'LL HAVE TO PUNISH YOU." He says lovingly and then walks away with a smirk.

Underswap

Blue:

He leans into the kiss as you pull away and looks at you with a small pout before smirking as you walk away. It's so on. The rest of the day is full of Blue teasing you. "Accidentally" rubbing up against you or whispering naughty things in your ear while you're doing something. You may have won the first battle but that's because he let you, now he's determined to win the war and he won't stop until you're begging him to go further.

Stretch:

He blushes from the surprise kiss but returns it quickly and tries to wrap his hands around your waist but you're already backing away. "aww honey don't be a tease." He says as you walk off with a satisfied smirk. He waits a bit before enacting his revenge, which is him pulling you onto the couch into his lap and refusing to let you go as he nuzzles into the crook of your neck.

Horrortale:

Axe:

He stiffens up when you kiss him out of no where his thoughts short circuiting. He blushes a nice deep blue and simply watches you walk away his eyelight expanded to fill his socket. He stands there for a bit before continuing on with what he was doing. He'll probably forget it happened so it's easy to get him again and again and see his adorable reaction.

Willow:

He smiles at the kiss also doesn't really realize you're teasing him. "Thank You Dear I Love You" he calls out softly as he watches you walk away. He thinks about the kiss all day until he works up the courage to find you and kiss you back. He'll walk up shyly and try to figure out how he wants to do this as with his bad back he could bend over but it would hurt. So he picks you up underneath your armpits gently and presses a kiss to your lips softly. Then he sets you down turns a bright orange and makes a smooth escape.
