Hangin' out in a meadow post-pacifist. Sans is all pleased with himself, like "this cool lady is cuddling up to me, i got game" Meanwhile Tori is piecing together this goober's entire mysterious backstory because she knows ain't no monster from Snowdin knows how to make flower crowns. (C'mon, we figure out the basic lore from information he gives after knowing Frisk 1 day from his perspective, he ain't slick. And Toriel is very clever. She would absolutely figure it out.)

I picked forget-me-nots and lavender because of this hanahaki fic by Taliax on ao3. It's a forever fave, highly recommend<3

This took so much longer to finish than I thought it would. Soriel Week 2024 officially ends now in a few hours... but I still want to try to make one more drawing for this year! (Whether or not I can is uh... to be seen).

It has been a long, long time since I have made artwork of both Sans and Toriel to upload (basically a whole year, apparently). Heck, even Frisk I have not drawn anything for since March. :'(

In good news though, I actually just recently redesigned how I draw some Undertale characters so that I can draw them more often now! This also means I can hopefully start working on my comic (Undertale Au) ScrapBookTale again! c:

I know, I know, I drew them apart, like a complete idiot. I just wanted to show how they share a grief. They both lost their world, in different ways. Toriel lost her children, and then she was the only one willing to honor their memory and the principles they died for protecting, for so long that monsters forgot her. And Sans can never go back. He tried and his failure still hangs over him and colors everything he does (or rather, everything he doesn't). They are both struggling with a loss that changes everything and that they can do nothing about, and then he knocks on her door, and she answers, and they don't have to struggle alone anymore. They give each other something to look forward to, something to prepare for, something to rely on. They begin to heal together. And that's what makes me completely, utterly, entirely insane about them.
