I’m not sure what’s going on with the mating bond - I could see it going either way with a true bond or not… my personal preference of what I’d like to see happen is for Elain to reject the bond and choose Azriel because I think it’s romantic and I think it would mean so much for both of them 😌 You absolutely don’t need to go with my opinion, I’ve read and written true bond fics and have LOVED them, so just do whatever feels right to you and I will be a fan regardless 😘

I don’t have a preference POV wise! I usually write both and I read a lot of fics with both POVs but I don’t mind either way. I’m sure that if you do end up writing Elain POV, you’ll be brilliant!!

i really want paul back in f2 next season. i think thats why im so numb about him dropping down in the f2 championship tdy cz him getting 2nd or 3rd isnt rlly beneficial if he doesnt get the title. so i honestly think its best if he stays 4th below but still top ten so it gives him a bit of leeway to be able to do another f2 season w/o ppl being annoying and considering him "too good" or "having too much of an advantage from last season". i truly do think all he needs is a win to be able to release all that pressure cz i do think hes getting desperate and being stupid w his racing choices (not saying all these bad races was him being stupid but u have to admit some of them were stupid choices, like yesterday's sprint...). also i feel all the f1 academy backings do see him but are just waiting to see if he wins. so we rlly js need him to win and i think that'll calm his mind and get the f1 teams' attention.

if not another f2 season, i think another good option for him to race in fe but ya i still think he js needs to win this season at least once, get a backing, and if not f2 go into fe with a reserve or development position in a team.

regarding him and merc, i wanna be delulu since merc is one of my fave teams and hes my fave jr driver i obviously would like to see them work tgt again but the likes of that happening is not realistic but it is true that merc has an opening so maybe !! that would be nice to see at least for me lol but knowing paul i dont think he'd happily take them or prema back after what they did to him. i do v much miss him as a merc driver tho :(

bottomline (im getting repetitive here sorry) he seriously just needs to put his head down, stop making stupid decisions in the race when he panics, and win at least one time. i truly think thats all he needs and f1 teams will at least be looking at him once again.

hi hi hi🩵💗 I had a really good week actually! I hadn't been on my phone much bc I actually moved to a new flat!! Aside from that though, I totally agree that our minds work similarly bc I pretty much agree with anything u say haha😭💗 AND NOW DID YOU JUST SAY THAT MAYBE YOU'LL WEAVE SOME OF THE TROPE INTO OTDE?!?!?!?! I feel like it really fits them, not only bc they are so emotionally tied but also bc I also the love that evolves from hate (well it's always there but i hope you know what i mean😭) is really strong and pretty much consuming, since both hate and love are really strong emotions, so them combined is a heavenly disaster and makes the relationship in result pretty much disastrous (in a good way tho)!

I would also like to say that you write the tension between lix and mc so well — it's so real and never seems forced.

BUT YES THE MOODBOARD IS VERY MUCH IN PROGRESS, IN FACT IT'S ALMOST FINISHED!!! for now, I decided to portray their relationship/the overall feel of the series rather than them as specific characters (or specifics of the story BC IT WOULD BE SO LONG AHAGWH) and I totally agree that the two colours could definitely fit our two mains, though I would say that Felix in otde is pretty much dark red coded and mc green but a vibrant one (but I also feel like a dark green or forest green could fit really well ANJW IDK??!?!) if that makes sense? ooh she still wants there to be an element of surprise, but she lets people know in advance what sizes she is, her favorite colors/styles, and what kind of gift would be most useful for her because she definitely wants more functional stuff (mainly clothes) rather than random junk. as for the rest of them:

stevie: she wants ALL the random junk. did you see a weird, creepy clown statue and think “stevie would get a kick out of this”? you’re right. she loves it.

asa: finn’s gifts are always going to be his favorite because finn puts so much thought into them but in general, asa isn’t picky at all with gifts! if there’s thought behind it, he’ll love it.

jada: definitely appreciates thoughtful gifts because she’s always surprised when she realizes that there are people out there who listen to what she says & files it away for future reference ;-;

finn: when he was alive, he always wanted toys or video games because they were a rarity. but now, he appreciates the gifts asa & stevie come up with, because he knows it’s not easy!

casper: he’s an amazon wishlist kind of person!

beth: also an amazon wishlist person, but the wishlist is just full of practical things like kitchen supplies and towel sets lmao

caroline: she feels like she’s too old to get gifts anymore lol she just asks for candy and a nice card, maybe a fancy sketchbook every now and then.

danny: he makes the most money out of everyone ofc, so he feels too bad asking for any type of gifts. he would much rather get a thoughtful, cheap or free thing as a present.
