Big day for annoying people (me)

The two new eps of ML were good? Like wow it’s been great so far except ep 3 was comparatively a flop imo. Werepapas was so, idk, enticing lore-wise but I don’t have much to say that other people haven’t except that they’re clearly NOT neglecting past plot points, making the tone too silly goofy all the time, nor retconning important stuff like some people worried they would. We have been FED. I’m sure Felix is involved in that ring bs somehow, but idk if his intentions are pure or not.

Warning for the only salty thing I’m gonna say on this post: I’m so tired of going into the fandom tag and seeing people whining about “bad writing” problems that literally never happened based entirely on their own incorrect predictions they made up to make themselves mad. Ugh anyway. This post is gonna be about small details I latched onto in Daddycop!

We got to see glimpses of Sabrina and Max’s rooms this ep! Max’s room looks like a Star Trek spaceship but the books on his bookshelf are kinda giving those reference books at the library of like, archived government documents or research papers iykwim whereas the books in Alya’s room look like manga. An interesting thing I noticed in Sabrina’s room is that she has a line of framed certificates on the wall, maybe academic awards or something similar

Did they ever say if Markov can see Kaalki or not? I’m sure they will eventually but idk which option I like better. It’d be cute if they were friends but it’d be pretty funny if he had to watch Max talk to the secret floating ghost who lives with them now and not question it

List of things Sabrina dumps in the trash: yellow nail polish, the brooch Chloe gifted to her/bribed her with in season 1, the cat ear headband from her Chat Noir cosplay when she and Chloe were roleplaying as him and Ladybug in season 3, a beret, maybe the one Chloe tried to bribe her with in s1, Chloe-style sunglasses, a Queen Bee doll, a photo of them together in the old animation, and a mug/tumbler? Between eps 2 and 4 I’m getting the sense that Sabrina uses Miss Hound as an escape kinda like CN where she feels like she can become instantly likeable, trustworthy, helpful, and useful through the inherent credibility of being a superhero. She has anonymity, can sort of start over on a blank slate, and is automatically implied to be a good person since Ladybug entrusted her. I’m guessing we’re gonna see more of that blank slate idea with other characters and what they’ll do with it, but it’s telling that Sabrina decides to transform to resolve people’s minor inconveniences, especially when she’s feeling bad about herself. It’s like she’s proving a point to herself but also giving herself something productive to do.

Noticing a clear absence of Alix. Ik the special implied she has to keep hiding in the burrow from Lila but she’s all normal-looking in the intro and they can’t shelve her forever. I feel like something is gonna change to make her be able to return.

I gotta say the side character writing has progressively been better and better throughout the show. Atp they really feel like actual people with their own opinions and motivations. In the early days they felt more like lovable NPCs who talked occasionally but now they’re real characters? With free will? I feel like I just watched Pinocchio get turned into a real boy

Ok last season they seem to have established that Sabrina became friends with Marc and Nathaniel who were both explicit Sabrina Supporters since their akuma episodes, so it feels sort of convenient that they were written out of the narrative for this ep. I do see the whole Girl Squad thing and how she feels excluded when all the girls in the group hang out together without her, doing traditional girl things like movie night sleepovers, so I do think it’s totally valid. Her having absolutely zero friends is hyperbolized though.

On that note I have to wonder if the school might have several lunch periods because none of the male characters expect Adrien and Nino were there. Or maybe they just stage the scene with whoever is convenient. They might have flexible lunch schedules and all the other characters are off somewhere else.

Rose mentioned a girl whose name I didn’t recognize and after rewinding i can’t tell what she said. Aglie? New character? Maybe she’s that black girl with pink hair who was sitting with Adrien, Nino, and Sublime at lunch

I’ve always loved those types of headcanons, that she was expelled from her last school and moved to a different country all of a sudden for her mom’s PR. If you think about it, that’s exactly what happened to Chloe damn. Daughter commits PR disaster, do zero parenting about it, relocate daughter far away to start over with little consequence! I wanna see some parallels. I feel like she made it sound like she moved because she was getting bullied at her old school, but what if that was a lie, or at least a partial lie? You know shit’s serious when the exposition is in the post-post-endcard scene

The pacing of these episodes has been satisfying compared to previous seasons, especially 5. They aren’t trying to shove too much in, but there’s still a lot happening and fiiiinally a nice mix of plot and fighting. I was getting irritated by how rushed a lot of the fights were last season like might as well just not have them at all

Late edit: back to the pajamas because I forgot to analyze them, I have noticed that Juleka’s pants have bats on them :) frickin bats. They also have like… a crescent moon with something sitting on it? idk what that is. It’s like a pattern of cute spooky Halloween imagery. But the pants and her black lace tank top versus Rose’s sparkly pink unicorn onesie is adorb.

Zoe has a yellow tank and seems to be wearing her usual leggings under running shorts um? Outside clothes in bed? And her pink slides give the whole thing a sans undertale vibe. Oh what the fuck why do the feet of her tights have individual toes lmao. The horror. I hate it.

Kagami’s silk pjs look luxurious. I love how her clothes this season went from just preppy to being very obviously EXPENSIVE like she’s blending in with the gang but she’s still clearly rich af.

Sabrina’s pjs are a classic set with her usual argyle pattern on them. 10/10 would give her a warm glass of milk and read her a bedtime story. I wonder what she needs eye drops for because she told Roger she needs to pack them.

Excited to see more yay! I love the little details. It’s kinda a bummer that Sabrina spent most of her hero focus ep sobbing but we ball (see what I did there) and the end was so cutesy. So excited to probably watch episode 11 before episode 6

To clarify the previous ask, I confess I have two main but extremely divergent versions on it which makes it hard to specifcy things in an ask XD

One would be: how would you handle a post S3 fic where Chloe basically had this realization:

Chloe: This has been the worst day ever and those stupid Kwami didn't even listen! Chloe (Thinks back to the Kwami and what they looked like & then remembers the "Keychain") Chloe: . . . MARINETTE!!!

IE the starting premise is "Post Miracle Queen Chloe realizes Marinette is Ladybug, how does she respond?"

Idea two starts with the premise that Chloe had the above realization but canon otherwise followed its tracks until at least post Queen Mayor.

So basically, "Post Queen Mayor Chloe has known Marinette is Ladybug for a long time and is about to be sent away with her mother or already has been. What does she do with this information to maybe change her circumstances?"

Sorry if that's still too broad ><

No this is much easier to work with.

For your first scenario, with all canon off the table post S3-

Chloé corners Marinette and demands a Miraculous. Not the Ladybug(having it after you? ew!) and not the Bee(That ship has sailed!) but she demands in her words 'A good one!' Without any support(Fu is gone) Marinette hems and haws and actually does cave. (she doesn't know what to do!) She picks the Rooster(sorry Marc, it's thematic)

Marinette wants to know if Chloe is going to help fight Hawkmoth.

Chloe: Help? Help! Marinette I'm not going to play with your little band of losers. I'm going to be the best hero there ever was!

Enter: Crevecoeur (actual French Breed, and the name is perfect)

We're throwing the whole 'Cat Noir neglect' arc RIGHT in the trash to make room for a new arc. We can instead have Cat Noir & Ladybug grow closer dealing with the new situation. That makes a better transition into a S5 love-square collapse into the final ship.

Instead the 'vigilante' arc is the main throughline of S4 (Alongside the Shadowmoth&new heroes)

Crevecour presents the heroes with unique challenges. She is a hero, but also competition. She doesn't fall in line, but she is still a *hero*. She's both very driven, but also gets into trouble. It's a great way to introduce kids to 'third party' dynamics, which is something ML lacks completely.

The Rooster is a very difficult miraculous for Chloe to utilize, but also a good one for her to have *if* she can. Chloe isn't stupid, but she is impulsive. She *can* be clever, but defaults to short cuts. The rooster gives her the power to have *anything she wants* ... ... ONCE.

So she has to fight against her instinct to 'Gimmie!' the first thing that enters her mind. She has to consider, and weigh what she WANTS vs what she NEEDS.

On the upside for Marinette the *in class* bullying drops. Chloe has a new focus. Who cares about a dinky little classroom when you're a real superhero 24/7?

Initially it's very much frustrations and comedies for all involved, but as it progresses a loose affiliation and some teamwork grows out of it. Chloe realizes that *not* being a dick in class gets more attention and interaction. She still may not like/mingle with the commoners but the antagonism diminishes sharply.

As a part of the finale can have her actually return the rooster to Ladybug 'for safe keeping' (perhaps she almost blabbed her ID while under Risk's influence)

Of course then they all get stolen, and THAT might send things in any number of ways :)

I think the key here is that despite *everything* else, Chloe never blabbed about Marinette's secret identity.

This doesn't mean she is 'secretly good'. It DOES however mean(especially once Marinette finds out she knew- preferably NOT through Chloe telling her) that Marinette now has to grapple(and the audience!) with the notion that Chloe does have *some* sort of principles in there.

She might have despised Ladybug, she might have wanted to take her down, but she never did it in a way that would even hint she knew the two were one person. She would *not* give away the secret identity. Who else other than Chloe would know just how 'sacred' secret identities have to be? Who else could think 'I'll show them I can keep a secret better than anyone!'

The actual chain of events post Marinette finding out in S6 that Chloe knew are very up in the air. You can take it in many directions. The core idea is that people are more than the faces we see them wear in public. For a show about Masks and identities ML doesn't touch on this very much. Most of the cast are simply 'themselves in PJs' when heroing.

Cat Noir was the starkest example of this, but they kind of flattened him out in that regard. Not that merging the two sides was bad, but we didn't really have a solid self-actualization style story beat to go with it. (I mean, we can't give our boy trapped in a tower with no autonomy having a self actualization moment)

I think an interesting dynamic might be that Marinette knows Chloé knows... but Chloe doesn't know Marinette knows she knows. This allows us to have Marinette be the person reshaping the dynamics on her own terms, giving our protagonist something active to do for once in her own plot 🤣

Miraculous Ladybug Rewrite

Finally posting this. My rewrite for miraculous.

Ive been working on it for a while and just adding to it slowly. So, this is what I have for it so far. I'm deciding that I'm most likely going to make a second blog for just my rewrites (I currently have two I'm working on). So there will probably be a more polished version of this if I make the second blog.

Without further ado, here is my miraculous rewrite (so far..)

●Marinette and adrien are still both the main protagonist

●Adrien will actually have more of a focus, if not being more of the main character than Marinette

●Adrien's vocals will be added in the theme song as backing vocals (like in the full version of the theme song)

●Chloe will have a redemption arch

●Marinette and Adrien's romance will sort of be slow burn still, but will happen a lot faster in a way. Instead of dragging it on, they’ll start off having more of a friendship/some platonic banter, and as it progresses they’ll slowly start to realize their affection for one another

●In the umbrella scene (in origins pt. 2), we know marinette develops her crush on adrien from there, but, for this rewrite, marinette may question if she truly loves adrien. She may think she has a little affection for him, but, her crush for him will only slowly develop over time

●so, from the umbrella scene, she won’t actually have a huge crush on him

●adrien will actually be the same since the umbrella scene. He’ll consider Marinette a friend at first, but as time progresses, he’ll also develop a crush on her. He may not recognize it at first when he actually has feelings for her. Marinette will be more likely to detect her feelings for Adrien once she has feelings for him

●Zoe may be given a role in the show if I can properly give her development or any type of character

●not everyone of marinette’s classmates will be given a miraculous (such as Marc, Nathaniel, Ivan, Sabrina, max, Zoe, Kim, rose(?))

●Ladybug and Cat noir will still be the main super heroes. But if they develop a group over time, they’ll have queen bee (chloe), carapace (nino), and Rena Rouge (alya)

●temporary holders that will be recruited time from time will be, viperion (luka), ryuko (kagami)(?), purple tigress (juleka)

●bunnyx will always be a miraculous holders regardless since she has to deal with the timeline and time travel and her as a holder is a lot older (before current alix gets the bunny miraculous)

●Not sure how ill do lila’s (or cerise) character, but I want to figure out what I could do with her just like Zoe

● Gabriel (hawkmoth) won’t akumatize every single day. I think it would be better if he took time to pause from doing destruction, maybe trying to improve his powers during these times he’s not akumatizing, or just doing his job as a fashion designer, or any other lore that could be explored of the agreste family. I also feel like those episodes or times where he doesn’t akumatize anyone, could also give us time to know adrien and marinette better as main characters, can give them more exploration in their civilian lives

●Since I’m most likely keeping zoe in the Rewrite, I might have something that’ll make her more interesting(?)

●Chloe and Zoe don’t know about their existence before they actually meet

●Audrey purposely never told any one of them that they had a half sister in a complete different country

●Audrey was there for chloe, then left to new york

●I guess I’d like to go with the idea Audrey cheated on Andre (since it’s not really explained much in the show)

●Audrey has zoe in New York

●I think Audrey would’ve been flipping back and forth between going to new york and Paris for both of them (while also telling zoe and Chloe that she has to leave because of work and for fashion shows)

●zoe is more cold in this rewrite ●She holds a huge grudge towards audrey for leaving her all those years (and neglecting her for when she was there)

●Zoe for the most part cares less about Audrey. She feels there’s no need to care about something that hasn’t been there for her. Chloe on the other hand is pretty similar if not the same to her season 2 counterpart. She wishes for Audrey to praise her, to acknowledge her. She grieves the mother she wished she had.

●Audrey was more in zoe’s life, but even then, was still neglected by her. Audrey barely paid any attention to her, and didn’t take any time to spend with her

●Chloe also didn’t have a parent to spend time with. Andre was always busy with something and barely took time to hangout with her.

●When chloe and Zoe do meet, they are kind of distant to each other

●Chloe holds a slight grudge towards Zoe cause she feels like she got the better end of the stick (having a mother figure with her, especially since all chloe’s ever wanted was for her mother to be there with her and acknowledge her existence)

●Though, she’s totally oblivious to how much Audrey has affected Zoe too, and that Audrey isn’t as great as much as she gives her credit for

●Zoe really left her boarding school because of the homophobia that she got

●The main reason why cockroaches were eventually put in her locker

●Master Fu dying

●Sometimes characters need to die, and maybe mater Fu being that one character during the time of the show

●I think this will really effect marinette even more than just master Fu losing his memory

●Maybe by the time Master Fu dies, the superhero group would be a thing (ladybug, cat noir, carapace, Rena Rouge, and queen bee), and it'll all greatly affect them

●this will take a toll on them, but marinette especially. The one mentor, the only mentor she had, is now gone, and she’s going through another mental spiral

●she began off in the series with no guidance, finding Master Fu, finally have some sort of guidance, now doesn’t have guidance anymore

●Maybe even the celestial guardian can be introduced this way. With Fu now dead, he presumes the miracle box is still out there, and then figures out a teenager is in possession of it

●this is obviously still close to in show canon, so its not too different

●But, instead, the miracle box isn’t passed down to marinette at all. So marinette’s put in this weird position where she has to take charge and care for the miracle box

●I do want to do something where Marinette/ladybug isn’t the only one taking care of these things, but also has adrien/cat noir to help

●I’ve also been thinking that at some point Zoe will know Chloe is queen bee (as well as the rest of the teams identities)

●Kagami will definitely know some how

Thats it. That's what I have so far, this is a really long post.

When I said earlier in the post that adrien will have his vocals added to the theme song, I was in the thought process of if this rewrite were to be animated.

Question marks are put near certain names because I might be unsure of my idea for them for the rewrite

I was thinking that Chloe has used a miraculous before with this group, enough that the public has knows that the team has an adult that will take over for the heroes whenever one of them gets hurt, but that this was the first time she's used the bee; And also the first time she hasn't been able to hide before transforming, so she decided to bring out her old identity, since that one was already public knowledge.

Also the public reaction to finding out that the unknown adult holder that has been helping the new heroes for a while is Queen Bee, the first hero to be permanently retired from the old team, would be fun. Especially because none of the other older heroes have shown up to help, only Queen Bee.

Plus this would use the plot points of Chloe and Lila being the only 2 people who were involved in the old miraculous stuff and are still able to use a miraculous, Chloe being the first to resist an akumatization, Chloe being a really powerful miraculous user when she was a teen, Dawn being Chloe's daughter, Dawn being in the new team, Chloe being a better mother then Audrey, the end of the Dawn/Emma lovesquare, and would have Queen Bee stopping a new butterfly villain, when she wasn't able to help stop the previous one.

As for the bonus, I don't know when that interaction would happen, I just thought it would be funny if Chloe had no idea that the old holders couldn't use a miraculous until Marinette asked her.

When Dawn gets the Miraculous she does tell her mom. Because fuck that 'don't tell people' rule when it comes to her mom.

So Chloé /may/ ask Pollen what happened/why the others aren't around anymore.

Though I think it'd be funny if Pollen uno-reverses what Chloé's doing re: Dawn's dad and accidentally implies that everyone's dead.

Idea for a Drabble: Chloe realizes, after Ladybug decides to give a miraculous to Kagami, that her idol gave up on her because she’s a terrible person that’s undeserving of that power. So she decides to become one.

As in she fakes that her father sent her to study in a private school and starts to frequent her school pretending to be a newly transferred student from New York that’s the complete opposite of herself: Zoe Lee.

Surprisingly, it works, but Chloe starts to have an identity crisis and her efforts of keeping the masquerade up nearly drive her to madness.

This is an awesome idea. I love ideas like these where characters masquerade as someone else to see everyone's reaction or thoughts on their real self.

Plus, I think you have a good and unique idea for a Chloe redemption arc with this prompt. Chloe gets to learn the benefits of being nice to other people while pretending to be Zoe, and maybe she'll stop feeling the need to copy her mother's attitude or bully others little by little. Especially when she realizes all her work paid off after Ladybug gives the Bee Miraculous back to her. And it would be amazing to see her start to question why she did all those things when they did nothing for her.

It also gives us a chance to do something with the knowledge provided in Kuro Neko where Cat Noir changed his hero costume. I can see Pollen willing to help Chloe hide her identity to watch the girl grow into a true "queen".

I think it really is a better way to use Zoe's character instead of her primarily being around to replace Chloe. Also, I do think her and Chloe's character could mix together well. I don't think it's too much of a stretch for Chloe's fangirling of Ladybug could be her having a crush on the girl. And Zoe's character at the start was putting up an act.

[Note] Hey, hey! I wanted to start rewriting and designing miraculous for the fun of it. Please note that this is just for fun and giggles! I will try to keep the rewrite as close to the show as possible, at the same time I want to put as much of my ideas into it as I can. Also this is probably an angst au, because of my 3 am brainrot.

Zoé Lee:

Nice character, but I kinda dislike her in the show. She was added for what? I mean maybe as a better half for Chloe but she is just a replacement. If I handed Chloe character development nothing would change in the show. Zoe is lost potential and because I didn't have any idea what to do with og Zoe I renewed her completely. But enough of me yappin

Backstory:

Zoé hates her parents. Her mother is a cheating wench and a drama queen and her father a manipulative and corrupted politician. The only person in her family she likes is Chloe, her half sister.

If you read Chloe's rewrite you might already know that Zoe isn't the kid born out of wedlock, but Chloe. But out of a sense of protective ness she decides to claim that Andre isn't her father and moves to New York with her mother.

There she spends a lot of time trying to reach out to Chloe, but never receives an answer. Almost Zoe would have given up, if her mothers assistant hadn't personally delivered one last letter.

Zoé's personality, season 3-4

Manipulative and a good liar/pretender; Zoé has no trouble acting, in one minute she can be the nicest person you know before doing a 180 and constantly belittling you. She learned from the best after all!

Loving and Caring; A side one rarely gets to see. When her younger sister finally reaches out to her Zoé is ready to bring her home. But she isn't only nice to her sister, she has an open ear for those who her sister harms and becomes a sort of idol for Juleka and Marinette for different reasons.

Headstrong and Stubborn. If she plans on other throwing the government, she will overthrow the government. If she wants custody of her sister, she will get custody of her sister. She is very strong about what she wants and rarely backs down from achieving her dreams. This also makes her vulnerable to hawkmoths attacks.

Confident, encouraging but also judging, she will support crazy ideas, but she is also older than the main cast of miraculous, which also gives her the "wisdom" of being an adult. She doesn't have much screen time, but when she does you will also see her genuinely asking just what the fuck is happening, constantly.

Zoé as worker Bee:

No, Zoe won't become an actually present miraculous holder. The sole reason for it is that she doesn't want to be a super hero and that Chloe is the bee miraculous holder. That is why she also choose the name "Worker bee". She regards herself as someone while doing the work, not doing the work for herself but in order to ensure the survival of someone else.

Worker bee only shows up twice and outright rejects Lady bugs idea of becoming a hero more often.

That means Chloe is a constant bee miraculous holder! (Yay)

Miraculous Mutated AU

You all probably recall that post I made a little bit ago about the TMNT crossover AU. Well, here’s the extended lore! @imsparky2002 @booksrbetterthanpeople

It all started on what seemed like a perfectly normal day in Paris. The heroes were all having a group meeting to discuss a new patrol schedule, when they noticed some suspicious, dark-painted trucks speeding through the streets way too fast. Deciding to pursue and check it out, they had no idea their lives were about to be permanently altered.

While they were giving chase, one of the trucks suddenly hit a huge pothole and the doors flew open. And out of them came a huge canister filled with a strange, glowing blue slime…which cracked open and splashed all over the heroes! Unaware what the substance was and what it could do, they had to halt their pursuit while Ladybug summoned a lucky charm to wash away the ooze…but little did they know it was too late…

Twenty minutes later was when it started. They were about to go their separate ways to transform and head home…when the changes began happening. Each of the young heroes was suddenly hit with an agonizing wave of pain as their physical features began to alter themselves. Sharpening, growing, reshaping. When the process finally ended around fifteen minutes later, they all looked at their reflections in a large nearby puddle…and found strange hybrids of human and the animals their Miraculous represented staring back at them.

They could hardly recognize themselves. A large portion of them had suddenly sprouted coarse and thick fur, and most of them had also grown tails, Kim’s, Juleka’s, Adrien’s and Mylene’s being prehensile, and Marc’s feathered. Marinette and Zoe now possessed wings, antenna and extra limbs, with the latter also gaining a sharp stinger protruding from her lower back. Ivan, Nathaniel, Rose and Max now had hooves in place of feet, and the former two along with Kagami had sprouted large horns. A sharp beak had replaced Marc’s mouth and Rose now had a pig snout for a nose. Some of the most alarming changes were Luka’s legs elongating and fusing together into a free-standing snake tail, and the large shell that now took up Nino’s back.

Unbeknownst to them at the time, the strange blue ooze was called Mutagen, and some shady operators in Paris had smuggled a large quantity of it from a company called TCRI in New York. If you recognize the term “mutagen”, you’ve probably realized what’s happened to our heroes.

Knowing that with their altered appearances the reveal would happen anyway, they all detransformed and discussed what they should do about their situation. None of them were eager to go home and face their families, unsure of what the outcome of doing so would be and fearing rejection and fear from their loved ones. They made their way to an old warehouse, where they barred the windows and hid away from the world for several days, only coming out to quickly deal with akumas and avoid the press at all costs.

Naturally, many of their parents grew frightened when their children didn’t come home and put out Missing Persons reports for them. Nothing came of those, of course, which only led to further panic. Finally, after about two weeks, the kids had managed to somewhat come to terms with events and returned home. While their parents were of course shocked by their children’s new appearances, most of them were met with the same unconditional love and understanding they had always received…with a few exceptions. A disgusted Audrey wanted Zoe thrown to the streets, but Chloe fought the bitch tooth and nail over this. (She gave up Queen Bee willingly because she exposed her identity in this AU. No Miracle Queen, no other exposures.) Gabriel pretty much disowned Adrien on the spot, so he’s now living with the Lahiffes. Tomoe (she’s not evil in this AU) has never been good with expressing emotion, but assured her daughter that this change didn’t mean she would stop loving her. (Ivan, Nino, Alya and Marc were especially worried that their younger siblings would be afraid of them now, but these were thankfully unfounded.)

With the kids now home, it wasn’t long before the news began to spread around Paris about the “crazy mutant teens” and people wanted to see for themselves. Many of the parents ended up having to post signs outside their homes and establishments warning that anyone caught harassing or trying to record their kids without permission would have the police called on them. This didn’t deter everyone but it helped.

Naturally, they also had to deal with the government, who wanted to take the kids away for tests and experiments. Their parents only consented to tests that would ensure their conditions weren’t life-threatening, but made it absolutely clear that the suits were NOT taking their children from them. (Anarka in particular threatened to pull the cannons on anyone who tried to take the twins away from her.)

Eventually, the kids returned to DuPont, and were surprised to be met with sympathy and acceptance from all their friends. (Ondine and Cosette also made it clear that they loved their partners as much as ever, even with their new mutant forms.) Of course, there were still people that harassed and bullied them, but they had a strong support system to combat the bad actors.

With their new forms, they also found themselves developing new habits, common with the animals they were now fused with. Nino, Luka and Marinette now found that low temperatures caused them to fall into a deep sleep. Sabrina and Adrien now shed fur like no one’s business and the former was scratching up furniture. He also gained the ability to purr. Kim was climbing all over everything, and Mylene was squeezing herself into tiny spaces. Kagami had developed the tendency to hoard shiny objects, and Marc got up at the crack of dawn every morning to shriek at the sun. Nathaniel’s taste in food took a turn for the…strange, and no one could wave any kind of fabric or material in Ivan’s face without him going ballistic. Zoe now had a fixation on flowers and Max got spooked by a plastic bag going by his head.

Naturally, even with the love and acceptance of the people that cared about them, the young heroes still dealt with a great deal of dysmorphia and self-loathing. Their parents had them start therapy to get used to these changes. Eventually, they even found a community of other mutants online, many of them being from New York, which gave them a whole new support system. Nino even met four really cool dudes, brothers, who were turtles like him!

Eventually, they’re able to love their new selves and go on living their lives. (And if they have some cool new abilities that assist them in fighting Hawkdick, who’s complaining?)

since you changed up some of the canon miraculouses, do you think the lineup would change up as well, either switching around or replacing characters?

I think the biggest impact that would come from my changes to the canon Miraculouses would be with Felix and the Peacock Miraculous. Since my Peacock Miraculous does not create new individual lives but rather a physical manifestations of one's mind, Felix would have no need to claim the Peacock Miraculous since it isn't being used to control sentient beings, nor would Felix be a sentibeing, so he couldn't be killed by it being in the wrong hands. (Felix and Adrien's births are still connected to the Peacock Miraculous, with it being used to help the Graham de Vanily sisters with their fertility struggles, but the boys are not creations of the Peacock themselves).

I can also think of some other changes I would make based around this and a few other concept changes, so I think the hero lineup (including the Butterfly and Peacock being rescued) would be like this if canon used my version of the canon Miraculouses:

I think the OG five have great match up with their original Miraculouses, whose concepts and powers stayed the same in my AU, so really no need to make any changes here.

First up we have Butterfly!Felix. Even if he has no reason for the Peacock, I still think he’d be down to steal magic from his uncle. I like this match because I think Felix and Nooroo could connect to each other with their similar pasts, and also I think they'd be a good influence on each other. Nooroo being Generosity could help Felix who is more self centered, while Felix could help Nooroo with his low confidence and pride.

Next is Peacock!Luka. Luka would be such a good Peacock. And seeing how canon treats Luka like everyone's therapist, and his whole ability to understand people and express it with music, why shouldn't he get the kwami of Psyche? Honestly I think he'd be a good match up with the canon concept Emotion as well.

Next up is Cobra!Max, I just always thought Max would do so well with these time powers, his ability to analyze, remember, and strategize would benefit with the gathered information and Opportunity he could create from the Cobra Miraculous. I also thought he didn't have a particularly strong connection with the Horse Miraculous, like it's okay, but not as perfect as some other pairings in canon, so with the Cobra opened up this was a no brainer.

Then we have Horse!Zoe, who I think matches this Miraculous a lot better than Max. As Zoe is someone who has never had much freedom and was always hiding herself to fit in I think the Horse would be perfect for her, and I think Kaalki would absolutely adore Zoe as well.

Is the main reason why Goat!Marc and Rooster!Nathaniel are here because I thought this was going to be canon? Maybe. But also with Marc as a writer I just can't see him not being a good holder for Imagination. I love the idea of Orikko and Nathaniel together, I think he'd be such a good confidence booster for Nath. Also I think Marc and Ziggy would get along so well too, both having a very sweet side.

For Dog!Mylene I picked this because I never saw the Mouse as an overly good fit for her, and with the Mouse no longer shrinking holders down I felt it lost the visual match as well with Mylene being one of the shorter classmates. Then with my Dog as Detection rather than Adoration I don't think it fits Sabrina as much anymore. I swapped these two because I felt Detection would fit Mylene well seeing how active she is with trying to do good in the world, and maybe it could help her with her fears if she was more aware of her surroundings. Mouse!Sabrina I think would definitely maximize the possibilities of being able to be in multiple places at once. She’s very smart, and plus I think Mullo would help her stand up for herself.

And for everyone else... well, canon gave them a really good fit, even with the changes I made to my headcanons. Like with the Pig now being Love, it still fits Rose well, etc.

So, I had some "Match My Freak" thoughts but they need to be spread across two asks, so here goes the second!

 Basically, I have two ideas how I think the post Style Queen story would go, (3 if one wants to imagine Gabriel actually retiring either for a time or permanently) Those being: 

Akuma Juleka, & Violent Tigress Juleka 

The set up is basically the same for both, as established CHloe bounces back fast when rejected by a loved one because well she's used to that and thinks love is something you earn or win and otherwise fight for and if she isn't receiving it she needs to fight harder. So she's already forgotten (Repressed) the horrible things Audrey said earlier and is cheerfully (Hysterically) dismissive when Juleka is concerned about her basically shutting down from the stress of not being able to please her mother and listen to Juleka at the same time. 

Juleka's keyed into enough of Chloe's issues at this stage thats he won't push her too hard but she is concerned.

Things go as normal and then Audrey choosed to take Marinette to New York and Chloe is definitely upset by this; she's not quite as insecure in this timeline & she and Marinette are marginally more chill but this is still the mother Chloe's spent a lifetime modelling herself after in a quest for love choosing another girl over her cos of a hat. Even with her bolstered confidence and better social circle, this is still a blow and she's definitely not keyed into healthy relationships enough to fully understand or articulate it save that she's in pain and her mother just doesn't seem to care. 

Because she's not exceptional enough to warrant being cared for. 

Note: it is possible tat Audrey may be willing to deem Chloe as useful potential staff for a more slow burn version of this, like taking Marinette, Juleka & Chloe to New York, but it being very clear she deems the model and seamstress a tier or two above Chloe who is just staff, but that feels like its own AU. 

Exactly how far things spiral is up in the air, as it could straight up involve Chloe revealing she was Queen Bee and helped save Audrey the day before, which would at best lead to Audrey saying Chloe just threw her one shot at being exceptional away to prove a point, or being furious at Chloe for 'betraying' her. Or it could just lead to them fighting and Chloe fleeing in tears without making the reveal. (Whether she knows Juleka has the tiger could play into this) 

Juleka goes after her regardless, though not before sending Andre a contempt filled glad because he did nothing and or may even try and discourage or stop Juleka from going to look after Chloe as he wants her vulnerable and to come to his side. But whatever the case she slips/breaks away and goes to her and tries to comfort her. 

If Chloe revealed her ID as Queen Bee, Gabriel sends an Akuma after her but Juleka grabs onto it in Chloe's stead, becoming Berserk Knight, and when Chloe tries to talk her down, well Juleka turns Chloe into her queen/maiden whose power is to basically make Juleka stronger/bolster her.

Then she goes on a rampage at Audrey & Andre, fights Ladybug & Chat Noir, though CHloe manages to willpower her way out of Juleka;s control and get her to stop long enough for the heroes to win. LB or Chat likely do tell her she can't be a hero again but that what she did there was exceptional (Sending pointed glares to Audrey) before leaving. 

If Chloe didn't reveal her ID, Juleka ends up donning Roarr and promises the smirking tiger as much havoc as she desires. Cue Juleka pretending to be an Akuma and going on a rampage directed at Audrey and Andre. (Note for the more unhinged AUs this is not a loud rampage but a dead in the night rampage)

She has no real interest in fighting the heroes but may get Akumatized if she loses the fight and oh boy that would be dangerous, but even if not, I'd say she manages to get away after putting some fear in Audrey & Andre's guts and Chloe would probably cover for Juleka cos like hell she's gonna let her GF be blamed for something she did on Chloe's behalf. 

So Violet Tigress is still on the loose in both versions, but has very different relationships with the heroes and Chloe's situation is radically different too. 

Not sure where things would go after that, but I could see Maladiktator still happening (or something like it) when Andre fails t get his claws back into Chloe and she'd likely still get chosen on Heroes Day as well given the circumstances. 

Uhhhh!!!! I love all those options!!!!!!!!

Juleka sure as all is concerned!!!!!!! Her girlfriend is very concerning on a good day!!!! And that was not a good day!!!!

Also for how chloe react to audrey leaving with marinette, I think I prefer that she just has another breakdown in public and run away crying!!! Like this way ypu really show how much that affected her because she really doesn't like showing weaknesses to others, and while I can see chloe transforming or attacking audrey(yelling but I also love if she punch her, as a civilian) that would imply chloe think audrey is wrong, and that's probably not the case, chloe wish she is wrong but chloe always think that audrey is always right!!! So nothing she does could change it, so running away and hide until they go away is the best action for her.

(Also all of them going to new York really is an au of it's own!!!! I can see marinette gicing the miravulous to alya, and juleka accepting the offer because chloe was happy about it, in a If I day now, I would rise from the death just to do this thing kind of way, so turning it down was impossible for juleka even if she really doesn't like audrey, but at least they are getting away from andre)

Also!!!!! I love the idea pf jukeka just using the miraculous and terrorize andre and audrey!!! And just go for a rampage!!!!!(also I love the death in the night rampage!!!) And violent tigress is an awesome name!!!!!(also chloe totally make an alibi for juleka)

Amd oh god that's gonna be interesting to see with other heroes!!!!! Since juleka will probably be seen as another villain!!!! And probably act as one not only that one time because why not? It's not like her action as villain have real consecuences since ladybug fix everything, she just has to be careful about traumatizing people or not to be careful about it if that's exactly what she wants(I actually can see her going after gabriel for whatever reason, maybe he helped andre to gake chloe back, maybe he is keeping adrien away from chloe, anyway gabriel now is convinced tigress know his identity as hm)

Ohhh and having a secon villain and with such raw power and destruction level, might mean chloe will be given the miraculous more often to fight her!!!! And the flirting is gonna be unavoidable!!!! Because chloe know it's juleka and juleka either figured it out or chloe told her!!!!

Also I can see tigress just kidnap chloe sometimes when they want to have a date but andre tried to keep chloe busy with some gala or something like that that she couldn't avoid and juleka couldn't join, so crime is the only answer.(also both of them probably like the kidnap part way too much)

Team Miraculous Headcanons!

(Note: I feel like the temp heros arent fleshed out as much so im only talking about their role on the team and the difference between their civilian and hero persona.)

Ladybug & Chat Noir: you already know.

Rena Rouge & Carapace: Just like the two lovebirds up there, I think there personalities swap in their hero personas. While Alya is the more rational one and Nino the coming up with crazy ideas, Rena is the crazy idea girl and Carapace is the one that wants everyone to think things through. In combat, Carapace is a frontliner like Chat Noir but with meatshield bent. Rena rarely sees combat because she's more of a mission control/guy in the chair/Navigator and yes I can randomly make persona references that supports the team from the shadows with illusions and spying on the villain.

Queen Bee: This might contradict canon but idc, Queen Bee is nice! Like yeah, she still insults her teammates, but not to their faces anymore! Chloe's making an effort to not be bad and she's failing, but it's the thought that counts right? In battle, Chloe is just doing her best Ladybug impression and it's not too bad.

Vesperia: If Queen Bee is Chloe trying to be nice, then Vesperia is Zoe being a savage! The girl has a lot of pent up anger from living with Audrey and Chloe at the same time, so she deserves to cut loose a bit. Vesperia is one of the heroes that uses the most taunts and insults against villains, sometimes to bait them but most of the time it's just her being a little bad. She's a frontliner but with an emphasis on dodging hits and grabbing attention.

Viperion: Luka is approachable, Viperion is not. He has creepy eyes and half of Paris is convinced he's psychic and can read minds (which isn't entirely wrong, he just reads emotions). The bad rep dosen't bother Luka too much, but it gets annoying when his teammates are scared of him.

Pegasus: Despite being a nerd, Max really isn't an uptight person. As long as something dosen't endanger himself, he's open to trying new things. Pegasus isn't. He lowkey believes he's surrounded by idiots including Ladybug (but he obeys her orders cause she hasn't really lost yet). Half of Paris is also terrified by him because he's able to pull off Batman levels of big brain during a fight.

King Monkey: Most of the temp's hero personas have different personalities but King monkey really is just Kim in monkey suit. Max has lowkey sussed out his identity, Kim suspects nothing.

Ryuko: Kagami is calm, which is why no one has figured out her identity because Ryuko is cRaZy. She's like one of those middle schoolers pretending to be their favorite anime character but WITH REAL POWERS! Villains are also scared of her because she has like 3 powers for some reason.

Purple Tigress: What more can I add? We all saw her: a raging cat lesbian. She's a berserker!

Pigella: She's like that one "threatening positivity" post: you will feel better, you have no choice >:)". the Love square between her and Tigress is real also. In fight she's like those really annoying spell casters that hypnotize your party members.

Miss Hound: When Sabrina transforms she just goes full Chloe! All the years of being mistreated come out as her being 10× meaner than any other hero! Miss Hound dodges a villains attack? "And thats why your useless, utterly useless!" She and Vesperia are besties!

Okay,so I’m starting off with how I’ve changed the miraculous,since I now have a clearer picture of the re-write than when I first re-wrote chloe,and keep in mind some thing might change,and try suggesting other things I can try changing.

Now,for the more general stuff,I have given each of the main non-zodiac miraculous elemental powers.

My reason for this is that the main six just...don’t feel special.

These powers would work as a way to make sure that these miraculous aren’t just handed out Willy nilly,because once you transform,you permanently gain these powers-it doesn’t matter if you de-transform or give the miraculous to someone else-you always have these.i think this is a fun way to modify the miraculous to make it actually believable that they are the most powerful.

Also now each miraculous has different times as to when the holder will de transform if they have not mastered the technique(the smallest being the ladybug at still five minutes and the largest being the foe by an hour)

Now onto individual miraculous.

The ladybug:I’ve removed the ability to purify an akuma and now she needs the help of chat to do miraculous ladybug.in turn she gets the power of air and can fly or create a strong breeze or make a mini hurricane.she also has a bag that carries over from her civilian form(but dotted) and it’s linked via miraculous,so she needs to have it everywhere,or else she won’t be able to do lucky charm.

The cat:it stays mostly the same,only gaining the ability to purify akuma’s and getting the power of lightning.

The bee:now the holder has little worker bees that can be used for spying and can sting people from afar is the place of her spinning top(and yeah callimara and her re-design re-write was what pushed me to do this,simply because of the idea of her calling the others “her worker bees” so credit to her)and also the holder can control ground(might change later)

The turtle:I need a new power for the ox because tbh the ox is just what the turtle’s power should be imo(and the holder can control water.)

The peacock:stays the same and the holder can now travel through shadows.this is because despite having arguably the most useful power it will be out of commission for a good bit,so once Nathalie(yes,I said Nathalie not Gabriel cause it only starts getting used once Gabriel get hit out of comisión in miracle queen,which I’m debating changing to season two finale since mayor’s doesn’t exist a therefore heroes day would not serve crap)starts using its when the heroes have scaled in fire power.

The butterfly:the holder can now create a blinding light in the form of an orb(the butterfly is already pretty strong)

The fox:the illusions are now tangible but will disappear in thirty minutes,also the flute is now replaced by fox beads that can be used for illusions and as a whip,however it will cost the bead in question,yes the holder can use the a bead the make the whip larger/make up for the lost beads,there are ten beads in total.also the holder now has the power of fire.

The bunny:I’ve decided to take a different approach to fixing the bunny than other,as now,instead of completely overwritting the power,it’s now more of a “high risk,high reward” thing,where the snake is more reliable,but the bunny is more powerful.the snake stays the same but the bunny gets the added downside of that the holder will become extremely nauseous after de-transforming depending on how much they used the miraculous.

The rooster:it can now be used to manipulate memories,via erasing,forcibly resurfacing,or replacing them.

As I’ve said I’m open on suggestions.

(Stammering Adrien AU: Babylon's Lady, an Akumanette prompt. Basically Chat Noir and the other heroes like Viperion, Queen Bee, Renabella aka Alya's unify Fox and Ladybug Miraculous name, etc try to make Marinette snapped out of her evil mind but she didn't listen to them and then she left.)

(Note about Babylon's Lady's design: Her design is mostly based on the Woman of Apocalypse from New Teslament. She wore a purple and scarlet glittering dress with a transparent red cape, a purple feathery shawl, and a golden crown on her head. She bears a golden goblet on her hands full of akumas and amoks that could allow her to turn a person into an akumatized villain. Her sentimonster is a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven crowns.)

Babylon's Lady: *evilly laughs at Lila and Katrina* I am feeling great today! What misfortune this is for you! Let the feast begin!

Chat: *cries* Marinette, stop it! This isn't you at all!

Chat: Marinette, stop! This isn't you at all!

Babylon's Lady: And why not?! Why do I have to be the nice one all the time?! Why do I always have to take the high route?! *starts tearing up* Do you have any idea what it's like to spend all your time being someone else's punching bag?!

Chat: *sigh* I do. I r-r-really do. And you and I b-both know how much strength it takes not to... not to lash out. You are so strong, Marinette, stronger than you could possibly know. *hugs her* Please, be strong again. Reject Hawkmoth. If n-n-not for us, then for yourself.

Babylon's Lady: *weeps for a bit, then hugs Chat, sobbing as she slowly turns back into Marinette* I'm sorry... I'm so sorry...

Chat: Shh shh, it's okay. *pats her back* It's okay.

One De-Evilization later:

Marinette: *handing Master Fu the earrings* I don't deserve these. I don't know what made me think I could be a hero.

Master Fu: Marinette, If mistakes were all it took to disqualify us, none of us would be guardians. Besides, I didn't loan you the earrings, I gave them to you. They are yours.

Marinette: W-What? B-But what about the guardianship? What about the Order?

Master Fu: The Order is gone, and those of us who are left are too old and too frail. That's why I have come to a decision. From now on, you will all keep your Miraculouses. You will ALL be guardians, and create a new order with new rules.

Marinette: *deep breath* Okay. Okay, this sounds super dangerous, but I'll do it.

Adrien: And I'll do it.

Alya: Me too.

Nino: I'll do it.

Chloe: So will I... Wait, what about the other guardians around the world?

Apropos of nothing, do you remember that idea we discussed where Adrien & Chloe swap parents but keep the same default coping mechanisms/temperaments?

So Adrien spends a lo of time day dreaming & basically lives near full time in a sort of Chat Noir-esc persona minus the hero elements & tends to try and draw others into it.

Meanwhile for Chloe everything is a fight, all the time, but there's also no real victory, its an endless staircase where meeting wining is just the new standard for 'acceptable'.

Let me wondering what dynamics would have emerged in such an AU.

Like,

Adrien is probably more popular than Chloe ever was, but also likely even easier to manipulate or use. With Chloe in canon its mostly directing her anger that is nominally easy, while here it'd be simple to get Adrien to buy stuff for people or give out tickets ETC.

I imagine the 'issue' is that he's not much for social boundaries or restraint so he can become clingy very quickly and get very upset if he feels rejected.

Chloe meanwhile may only be going to school to get away from her father or even as a pride thing, "People will think I only succeed because you pay people" or cos Adrien was going through a rough patch maybe. Probably a combo.

I think her default temperament would be closer to Gabriel or Kagami's. She's colder and more urbane than canon, but still very blunt at best. Still she reserves hostility for competition, where its let out as nearly unchecked but very targeted aggression. She's not as disliked due to not picking a fight with everything that moves & being a bit more restrained, but she basically viewed as an ice queen.

In this regard, Adrien is probably the only person off the cuff to be able to be particularly affectionate or playful with Chloe. Cos he's been around long enough that he kind of exists outside her normal perspective. Similarly, Chloe can be rougher around the edges with Adrien than most others & he doesn't take it badly as he knows she's never leaving him.

I am unsure where Sabrina or Marinette would end up in this scenario, maybe they are friends?

Without having to deal with Chloe's bulldozer personality for several years Marinette may be more confident. Not a Queen Bee exactly, but definitely the go to girl. How well said confidence holds up to a challenge however is unclear.

Sabrina likely is still rather neurotic about needing to feel useful to others given that attitude stems from Roger. So she might volunteer a to in class, and be another "Easy to take advantage of" person.

Kagami, her & Chloe's relationship would be interesting I feel cos it'd bemore overtly a rivarly. But I think regarded very differently by both.

To Chloe, Kagami is a peer, a foe, someone to overcome; someone who can nd has defeated her and she hates it, even if part of her is drawn towards her regardless.

For Kagami she'd start of being like, "Ooh marvelous competition, such an aggressive dueling style!" only to realize Chloe takes 'ZERO' pleasure in this, or almost anything she does. So for her part of it would almost be wanted to crack the shell, or dethaw the ice queen.

Beyond that... Yeah no clue, though I imagine Chloe & Gabriel are on less good terms than Adrien & Gabriel were, but also more subtly.

Like, Adrien was more open expressing frustration or resentment with his father, but still wanted his love and hoped he'd warm up. Meanwhile I feel for Chloe it'd have become so tense and toxic at least since Emilie died that while she wants tp prove herself to him, its another challenge, a contest, a battle of wills to her. here's no real hope for love or warmth, she just wants to win.

We have different ideas of this! So I'll lay mine out.

Adrien: I think you're still clinging to the 'good boy Adrien' of canon and warping what we're doing here to fit that. Adrien i not evil, but he is not *socially functional* here. He is not transaction based, he is escapism personified. Might he be nice to talk to? Yes. But ay any given moment he might tangent off into a lore dump of one of the (many) worlds he's made up entirely in his head. Not only that, he might just start larping it at you without warning and without any indication even *he* is aware he's crossed the boundary.

Think 'ahaha I have ADHD so bad watch my hyperfixate!' only not in the quirky tumblresque manner but in the actual social impairment manner. He's not anti-social he's A-social, and there is a small chance if his 'reality' is challenged he MIGHT get aggressive. Most people can humor hi, and his manner can be fun for a while, but it can also be extremely draining. Only a few people can handle it 'full time'.

Chloé: I think you're adding canon spice here again, keeping the ire-antagonist angle. I see it much more as competition for the sake of the *competition*. She needs another award. Being an 'ice queen' is wasted effort. Being mean would indicate a level of attention to people that most are just not worth.

The difference can be highlighted with Kagami for example- Kagami might seek a rivalry(she enjoys them. There's a form of connection and socialization in acknowledging a peer and beating/losing to them specifically) Chloe just couldn't care less. You're an opponent for the length of a match, then the match is over and there's another, and another, until a trophy is won or lost and then it's on to the next competition. There's no reviewing; no bitterness nor pride. As soon as the trophy is won or lost it's worthless as is everything involved in winning it. It's not a snide or dismissive attitude(again, that would take effort) it's just a sort of detched/focused 'Next Quest!' mentality. She is the 'questing knight'.

I don't think Chloe would make connections with most people(for obvious weapons) and could definitely make a terrible first impression. However those who knows her (from a distance obvi) would often have a 'stand back and check this out' mentality. She's not great to talk to but just *seeing what she'll do next* is entertaining, success or failure.

now Sabrina and Marinette

Sabrina: If we're keeping her as knowing and being devoted to Chloe via family ties, then she would be 'Squire' to Chloé's knight. Constantly there with a spare foil, a new pencil, or a towel. She's a one-girl cheering section who takes more pride in Chloé's achievements than Chloé does herself(though she never touts them when Chloe is around, since Chloé takes a negative view on all past victories as 'meaningless') If you want Chloe to focus on you, just pick on Sabrina. You'll feel her eyes boring a hole in you before she tackles you, if you're lucky. If Sabrina is instead attached to Adrien through connections then she'll be his playmate and partner in all his fantasies. She's an 'Adrien Whisperer' who remembers each of his worlds and all the little details for ease of translation. She enjoys her status as the one constant in his worlds, and guards it a little jealously. She's good for his peace of mind, but probably bad for any sense of healthy socialization for him, as she would view any effort to 'bring him into the real world' as bad.

Marinette: In regards to Chloé, Marinette would definitely have some oppositional issues. Marinette likes competition and winning, but she likes it from the social aspect. Rivalry is fun(as long as it's light, Kagami can be a bit intense for her) but all her attempts to engage Chloé slide right off. 'I'll get you next time!' elicits a shrug at best. 'Ha I beat you!' elicits even less. Similarly attempts to ingratiate fall flat. Gifts are unwelcome, praise earns eyerolls. Marinette is stubborn though, so her long term goal would be to figure out this being who is so antithetical to herself. She'll find a way to *matter* to Chloe some how. The worst thing for asomeone with only child syndrome is being ignored. 🤣 With Adrien Marinette would be both enamored and repulsed. It would create quite the internal struggle for her. He's Gorgeous, and he's oh so creative! She loves his little head-worlds and could listen to him talk about them forever. *BUT* when he acts them out, when he brings the imaginations into reality. She gets intense second-hand embarrassment. She projects her own insecurity at being seen as immature onto him and it eats at her. So their relationship becomes a push-pull of: does she pull him out of his fantasy worlds? Does she learn to set aside her embarrassment? Do they meet somewhere in the middle? Does the attraction overcome the hurdles? (Is Sabrina an obstacle?) How does she know if Adrien is attracted to her, or the her in his head? Who is the her in his head? With him having such a vivid imagination she might feel very exposed around him. He *thinks* about her, and she can't hide in his head.

Ya know what would be a cool miraculous fic: if Gabriel figured out how to clone the Butterfly miraculous to give him the same powers that way he can keep being Hawkmoth even if he loses the original miraculous.

Then they give the original Butterfly miraculous to Zoe (Queen Bee/Chloe character development for the win! Suck it writers!) and Zoe has moments where she has to drop everything, transform, and send another butterfly to get to the akuma target for the day and just basically be a magic therapist. Hawkmoth hates her because she keeps calming down potential akuma targets through the butterfly mind telepathy so Gabriel has to go out of his way to just cause problems and hope Zoe doesn't get there first.

Also Chloe distracting akumas/Mayura so that Zoe can keep working without fighting for her life. Zoe also spoils the shit out of Nooroo because the little guy deserves it.

What superhero name do you think Zoe would have? I've seen aus where Marinette has the butterfly and is called Lady Fairy, Mariposa, Lady Butterfly, etc. but I'm not sure which best fits Zoe.

He needs a decoy. He swears that Ladybug has been onto his identity lately and he needs to throw someone else under the bus. Someone Ladybug would suspect, someone who would make sense. Chloe Bourgeois? No, she’s been the victim of too many akuma attacks. Her new little sister, however…

I think Zoe would be chosen because he would assume that she’d be just like Chloe, only a little younger. He would be counting on her to recklessly akumatize anyone and everyone she could, and lead Ladybug straight to her in the process

No one questions why the new girl wears a brooch

Everyone starts asking questions when a new butterfly shows up, calming people down from panic attacks, giving them the power to get their cat out of a tree, giving a woman the power to fly so she can make it on time to her court appointment, etc

I like the Chloe helping idea!! Especially since she’d absolutely notice if her new sister was suddenly wearing a brooch.

Chloe interrogates her about it and when Zoe is hella sketch, Chloe starts digging deeper (w/ Sabrina ofc) and discovers that she’s the new butterfly

Chloe decides to help her out, but doesn’t want her to know it was her (she’s got a reputation to uphold!) so she gets a Stealth Queen Bee suit and becomes a Hawkmoth defeating task force

I think Nooroo would be split between them (since I split the miraculous here) and would be torn back and forth. Zoe and Nino would bond over their bestie’s shitty dads (Zoe needed to vent to somebody, and she needed to demagicify it first)

They can only transform when they have Nooroo, and both try to do everything they can to keep him (Zoe by giving Nooroo lots of snacks and love to try to signal to the miraculous that this is the better place for him, and Gabe by trying to make kwami traps that Nooroo can’t escape out of)

Here’s my ideas for hero names: (I’d give her the colors each butterfly when transformed)

Butterfree (pokemon)

The Painted Lady (butterfly type + atla reference)

Mourning Cloak (butterfly type + fun symbolism)

Grayling (butterfly type + makes her sound like a kid)

Holly Blue (butterfly type + really pretty + TAKE that color from Mayura)

Thanks for the rebog, I loved your tags (#hell yeah hell yeah hell yeah #but also OUGH) Chloe's good at evoking that gut punch emotional angst.

Its fun, I low key toy with a sequel to this idea were Chloe & Zoe have a kind of secret bond and meet ups thing going on where they both try and sort shit out and also just like... Bond.

But maintaining that double, o triple life is hard so people do notice and Felix eventually spies her at his school and mentions it to Kagami who tells Marinette and people start freaking out.

See they assume Chloe is somehow extorting Zoe, or Audrey is doing something, and so Zoe is confronted by the class while Felix & Kagami go to confront Chloe.

Long story short, Zoe Akumatizes from the stress o it and because it was her Miraculous that was Akumatized she is basically going all Miracle Queen on everyone.

She possibly has Ladybug & chat right from the start (by accident, or they are being kept back by the fact most of the other heroes are under control and they can't get close yet.

Either way Chloe does get to say to someone "I am going to fix this, your part in bungling this is over" before jumping into the Akuma swam.

So its disaster time for everyone and when Chloe realizes they've been found out but notes the entire class, nor Andre, are there to get in her fact about it she's like "Oh fuck the others are going to confront Zoe aren't they?" IE, she realizes Zoe's 100% Akuma bait now.

Long story short she ends up kicking Felix out a window when he tries to stop her and bolts to Paris, either with a stolen Miraculous sheer force of will & ends up ruining Lila's plan to get them Miraculous by basically confronting Zoe on the fact that Aumatizing won't help her.

IE, in her semi deranged Akuma state she thinks that she and her new sponsor can fix everything. Meanwhile Chloe's just like:

"All you are doing is what I did, trading one monster who wants to use you for a different monster that wants to use you. She will throw you away as soon as you stop being useful!"

Anyway Zoe breakdowns and loses the Akuma but as she is de-transforming, Chloe steals the Bee Miraculous, which protects Zoe's identity and probably tosses it at Marinette later to make a point.

IE, yes Chloe knows.

But I never could write it cos there's like 3 versions pf this in my head and none fit together XD

A more grounded version involved Zoe trying to broach this stuff with Jean and Bustier and the being like D: about it. Well Bustier is more D: while Jean's more :( Cos he's less shocked having been running interference to protect Zoe and so is just depressed. While for Bustier its more like :Oh fuck everything I suspects of being wrong but convinced myself was me imagining things was wrong, fuck!!"
