Zora princess engagement

The Legend of Zelda has a history of Zora princesses falling in love with/being engaged to the Hero of Hyrule/Link

So therefore, in Echoes of Wisdom, I would like for:

A- Zelda to run across a Zora princess engaged to Link and tell her hands off, he's kidnapped

B- Zelda to be engaged to a Zora princess and tell her no, Link is kidnapped

C- With both the river and ocean Zora being in Eow, BOTH Link and Zelda were engaged to Zora royalty, who are pissed that they now have to marry each other instead since Link is kidnapped

This is half joking but tbh I really would love for the Zora engagement trope to show up again

I mean the entirety of Eow is set up for Zelink. He chases her. She chases him. It's the idea that they're not whole without the other- if Link is taken so is Zelda. (see what I did there. Taken. Like kidnapped but also taken like in love with someone already. So they're both taken- ok moving on)

So yeah the zelink is so strong in this game from the four minute trailer(s), I really wanna see a Zora engagement because of the potential for *drama*

I like that Lou has lines and wrinkles. That he looks ”his age”. People can do as much fillers and botox as they like but I really like it when actors grow older and you can see it.

His face when he smiles big makes me so happy. 😍

saiki being an oblivious harem protagonist is the funniest concept ever to me... its so fitting with the normal tdlosk shenanigans too...

like imagine, maybe hes wearing his ring, is out of town, or doesnt have his powers in the exact moments someone realizes theyre in love with him.. so he doesnt have the benefit of immediately hearing the words "im in love with saiki" so he'll have to figure it out with context clues and yk. emotional intelligence.

WHICH HE SUCKS AT AND DOESNT HAVE.

notice how the only people we know had a crush on him in the show are people who very explicitly thought "i have such a huge crush on saiki.." "i think im falling in love with saiki!" "saiki youre my soulmate, kiss me!" but anyone else could have and he just didnt know... what about people who are more subtle with their feelings, people who havent even realized their own feelings yet, or even people who are actually pretty obvious but saiki just doesnt get it !

okay so you know when takeda manages to get ukai to come watch karasuno play for the first time and kagehina show off their freak quick and ukai is like "sensei how long have those two been paired together" and takeda is like "oh kageyama and hinata? they just met this year i've heard it was rocky at first but they're getting along well now" and ukai is like "what a shame". do you think he goes home and looks into them and finds out that kageyama's the lonely king and that his teammates abandoned him. do you think he looks and looks for hinata but can't find him until finally he stumbles across a no-name school that barely had a volleyball team and their only match lasted 31 minutes. do you think he wonders about how lonely they were. a coach can't replace teammates but do you think he decides to try and make sure that no one on his team feels lonely again.

me taking so long to get chapter two of destiny going bc i am slow tm and also keep getting distracted with the totk rewrite and my stupid gamedev dreams has the additional negative side effect that by now the happiness, motivation and feelings of validation i got from tags on my comic work has basically run out and now i have to keep working on it through sheer determination (and spite) alone q^q

an underrated aspect of imogen and laudna’s relationship is that both of them are intensely curious about life with a drive to learn. with imogen, her goal after leaving gelvaan is to find out more about her powers then, later, what predathos is and what being ruduisborn means. for as much as she’s offering to give in to help in their fight against ludinus, i get the impression that she also just wants to know what would happen to understand herself better. meanwhile, laudna’s dream before her death was to be a powerful mage. she went to the dinner with the briarwoods at least partially because she thought they could help her hone her magic.

it’s important to me that everything we know about their core desires along with the way they look at and approach the world supports the notion that if they met in totally normal, non-traumatic circumstances, they still would have been drawn together because of who they are, not what happened to them.
