I have returned to watching demon slayer after a year and it came up while I was having a serious late night talk with my big sister. I was talking about the relationship between Michikatsu/Kokushibo and Yoriichi and it turns out we both see each other in Yoriichi's shoes and ourselves in Michikatsu's place. Definitely surprising, but really relieving to know that we both worry too much and we are not so far apart in skill as we believe.

This is technically the first piece of fanart I've ever made for the characters in Demon Slayer, I have made OCs before but I never drew an actual character from the story. For context this is mostly just a fun "what if" scenario with them meeting in the afterlife. I like to think Yoriichi's love would reawaken Michikatsu's humanity.

This little pumpkin has been floating around my blog for a while, but she’s never had a formal introduction. So, meet Gail VanderQuack! The only question remaining, is which one is which?

I was thinking about the weirdness of LaCE and the whole sex=soul-marriage thing again (as you do) and a thought struck me:

what if the way it works in cases of assault (or is believed to work by the elves; in this case it doesn't matter if it's actually what happens of just what they think) is that you don't end up with a full-on bond, no, but you do get bits of connection, like hooks stuck in your soul from the other person(s)?

And—if we run with the worst interpretation of the Celebrían situation—what if that's what motivates Elladan and Elrohir to be so determined to hunt down every single orc in Middle-earth?

If Celebrían left because she couldn't bear the feeling or thought or those orc-hooks in her soul (or the ptsd flashbacks and trauma that made it easy to assume the stories were true, and that's what was happening to cause her misery) and hoped that crossing the Sundering Sea would cut them off, or at least blunt them and let the scars heal...

Well, the twins know that you can't really sail back, of course they do. They know!

But Glorfindel did. And a whole host of elves came once, during the War of Wrath. So it's not that nobody has, ever. (They can look up and see their grandfather sailing in the sky every night, out of the Undying Lands. Maybe somebody could hitch a ride...?)

If they can make Middle-earth safe for her again...well, maybe she won't come home. But at least then she could, if a chance ever came to leave and cross the Sea again. She could.

And even if she doesn't, at least when they Sail*, they can tell her that they slew her nightmares, finally.

And maybe that will be enough.

-Was found by Reynaldo wondering the streets of Raccoon City during the outbreak after she escaped from the hospital in the chaos and later taken to rpd where they hid out until Leon arrived

-Reynaldo playfully called her Eli (pronounced Ellie if that makes sense lol) once to make her feel more comfortable and the nickname just stuck

-Is mostly shy and quiet in the beginning, sticks close to Reynaldo and Leon. Overtime, she opens up to them and becomes more relaxed

-Has an unexplained ability to produce and control fire, which is why she was kidnapped by Umbrella. This is also due to the fact that her fire abilities aren’t caused by a man-made virus (don’t know how to explain it but the gist is that it’s something in her DNA LMAO)

-She has little control over it at first, but learns overtime to use it to her advantage and master her abilities fully as she gets older

-She’s baby, I can’t believe I put her in the middle of an apocalypse LMAOOOO

I think Eblana and Reed are fratenal twins (because they look significantly different) but Eblana is cis and Reed is trans. It's like a bridget situation where she was made to be a girl from a young age so Eblana has someone to act as her body double This only makes her identity crisis when she leaves Dublinn in Chapter 9 worse because being her sister sucks but pushing herself as far away from Eblana as possible by being a man would suck even more

i am going to say it now btw but the way you perceive alex in yiik is basically how you perceive someone who essentially has severe untreated moral ocd specifically around fearing he has npd and severe bpd and hpd that mimics npd and severe pediatric onset ocd that mimics the symptoms of DID which has happened and can happen according to multiple studies and my actual first psychiatrist who specialized in pediatric ocd btw.

if you perceive him as a narcissist and irredeemable and are going to be ableist about both people with npd and him? yeah you'll perceive him as irredeemable with no good points

if you perceive him as someone with such severe moral ocd that the thought of even OFFENDING his friends makes him fear he's an irredeemable violent criminal who deserves to be executed and has abandonment trauma around his father and abuse trauma around his mother that splintered him into multiple headmates? you're going to understand alex a little better than the average fan or hater.

basically: to understand alex as a character you need to know only one thing and it's he believes like 100 percent that he deserves to be hated for existing and that nobody should love him. it's the opposite of the common perception of him that he believes he should be loved unconditionally because he thinks he doesn't.
