If Saeru ever had the ability to repent/apologize to the dan for all the things he's done. Kano would be one of the first if not the first to forgive him. Because he was just a child when he lived with his physically abusive mother, and yet he never blamed her/always tried to understand her reasons. I don't see why it would be any different with Saeru, considering they are "close" in some way <3.
