Not saying “I love you“ back to the Squid game men.
How will they react if you don‘t say it back? In what scenario would they not say it back to you?
Pairing: The Recruiter, Thanos, Nam-gyu, Dae-ho, Gi-hun, In-ho x gn!reader
Summary: Them not saying “I love you“, their reaction to you not saying “I love you“
Genre: fluff, a lil bit of angst sprinkled on top
(Pre-Squid game)

Gong Yoo // The Recruiter // The Salesman
♡— Him not saying I love you…
It barely ever happens, really. He adores everything about you, from your face, voice, body and the ground you walk on; that man is ready to worship you like a devoted follower would to the most merciful goddess. Therefor he would always be aware of how to make your day a little better, even if it‘s just a small “I love you” or a gentle kiss here and there.
The first thing you hear from him in the morning is a groggy voice mumbling a small “Good morning love...” into your ear while warm kisses were trailed down your back.
While standing in the kitchen and searching the fridge for any signs of a tasty breakfast, a small “I love you, I‘ll be back later!“ would echo slightly through the apartment as the front door closed.
Once, he did forget to say his usual I love you on the way out. He thought about how he possibly could forget? You‘re probably overthinking everything now and think what you might‘ve done wrong or do to offend him. You didn‘t, though! He was just too caught up in perfecting his appearance because his damn hair refused to obey and submit to his meticulous styling.
The poor man was almost scared to come home. As some sort of peace offering, he bought some of your favorite take-out food alongside some dessert, flowers and a new bracelet he thought you might like. Anything to try and make you know that he does really love you.
“Apologies, it completely slipped my mind. It will never happen again my sunshine. I love you.”
˚✧₊⁎⁺˳
♡— You not saying I love you back…
His face may be neutral and his expressions calculated but his features soften up immensely when you show even an ounce of affection. His smirk shifts into a dreamy smile, the crinkles around his mouth shifting and becoming bigger, his eyes twinkling just a little. He just can’t suppress when you even look at him.
Your kisses and words energise him, gift him life, so whenever you don’t give him that little boost of dopamine, he gets visibly more tense in a way.
The silence that followed after his usual “I love you my darling, I’ll be back later!” was almost eerie to him. He stuck his head back into the kitchen to check if you even heard him. You glanced back at him for a moment and gave your husband a dismissive head nod. So you did hear him?
Silently, he left the apartment and went on with his usual day during that time of the year. For some reason, today he is especially looking forward to slap his elders for loosing a damn children’s game. His face remained neutral and had his usual smirk on his face, but deep inside, he’s offended, confused, worried, stressed; all the negative emotions someone can feel after their spouse doesn’t reincorporate ones affection.
Do you want a divorce? Because hell no, he’d never let you go no matter how hard you
But once he got a little text message on his phone that read a simple: “Need cuddles in bed later pls. Got some snacks too. Love you.”, all of his worries washed away in an instant. You probably were still too sleepy to answer this morning.
A smile spread over his face as he thought about slipping into your arms tonight. Isn’t it ridiculous how he melt like putty in your hands?
“You forgot something this morning and it did worry me a lot. But it doesn’t matter, it’s silly anyway.”
Thanos // Su-bong // Player 230
♡— Him not saying I love you…
It’s actually quite rare to hear Thanos say “I love you” word for word. He still feels awkward committing himself to the relationship you have and those three magic words feel so heavy on his tongue, so he’ll rephrase them to suit his level of comfort. “Love ya”, “Thanos loves you” and “Me too” are his ways to dodge the action to reincorporate those sweets words you shower him with.
Thanos only really says “I love you” if you two are alone, sober and you holding him in your arms. To be cradled by someone he admires, cares and loves so much makes him want to cry for some reason, but he suppresses those emotions and instead buries his face in your shoulder as your hand soothingly runs up and down his back.
Those are the times you hear a small “I love you…” being mumbled against your warm skin.
So quiet it’s almost unnoticeable, yet it was there. You know Su-bong needs time to get used to everything, so you’ll settle with a small audio message-rap in reply to your usual “I love you” text message.
“Back to the kitty ‘cause she kinda pretty, I can’t stop looking at her ti- ti- ti-face.. Anyways, thinking of you babygirl. Iloveyatoo.” (You barely caught him saying this the way how quietly he mumbled it into the mic)
˚✧₊⁎⁺˳
♡— You not saying I love you back…
It’s fine. It’s cool. You don’t have to reassure him every day that you love him, it’s totally fine. You still love him like you did the day before.
It causes a deep panic inside of Thanos when you don’t give him his usual “I love you” text in the morning after he had woken up. He kept checking his phone like a madman, while he was brushing his teeth, peeking his arm and head out of the shower in the middle of shampooing, staring at his text messages while microwaving himself an convenience store meal. Nothing.
Not wanting to reach out first and appear clingy, he decided to write you like he is not having a full blown eternal panic attack. A small voice message here, a picture of his food there, a selfie from the bottom to show off his double chin, anything really.
You replied like normal but still, his eyes searched for the three key words. I. Love. You.
Thanos doesn’t want to admit to himself or to anyone for that matter that your calls, texts, hell, you coming over is like the most addictive drug to him. And he had his share of all kinds of colourful drugs.
His foot was nervously tapping the ground while his finger kept ringing your poor doorbell until you were forced to answer. He gave you a close look up and down, his lips formed into a pout of sorts.
“You okay? You didn’t text me you love me this morning. It’s totally cool and all but like… do you want to break up with me or something?”
Nam-gyu // Player 124
♡— Him not saying I love you…
Similar to Thanos, at first, Nam-gyu barely ever told you how much he loved you, liked you even. He just assumed you already knew and his actions were enough. A small side hug there and ruffling your hair here had to be enough for the rest of the week anyway.
He is guarded, afraid of commitment and to be frank in belief that you’re using him for the longest of time. Maybe you’re just “dating” him to get access to high-end drugs, all kinds of clubs or whatever else reason there is there to date him but for love.
You had to say those three magic words first for him to get comfortable with the thought that you are actually just want to date and love him. It came to him in the middle of a night shift at a random club he was supposed to promote. A moment of enlightenment.
Nam-gyu hid in a bathroom stall with his phone and ignored whatever the couple was doing next door, writing you a whole paragraph about what he was thinking, feeling, before deleting everything again because he thought he’d come off as some kind of pussy if he’d sent that.
His first time telling you how much he loved you was at your place. A casual evening watching some random movie you picked out while being arms deep in a bag of chips and dressed like a homeless person, Nam-gyu was staring up at you as if you were the most beautiful person in the universe even during this ungraceful moment of yours, admiring you in silence until finally…
“I love you.”
˚✧₊⁎⁺˳
♡— You not saying I love you…
Did he fuck up again? Do or say something wrong? Don’t you love him anymore? Was there someone else?? His thoughts go ballistic as he stared at the screen of his phone with a deadpan-expression, trying to shake the crippling fear and nervousness off while looking nonchalant.
Nam-gyu’s finger kept hovering over the call button to check on you in case something happened because there could be a whole other person talking to him by how there were no affirmations at all.
He doesn’t want to appear clingy or too attached to you as that may scare you off or even disgust you, so Nam-gyu’s casually mention that one time you didn’t say “I love you” while fidgeting with his ring, trying to appear indifferent about it while intensely watching your facial expression shift to try and detect if you’re lying about your reasoning or not.
Your boyfriend is afraid to not be good enough, too much, too little. Your little affirmations give him reassurance, every day a little more until he’s full convinced that you do really, really love him.
“Hey, uhhh. Did you forget anything today?… No? You sure? Mkay.”
Dae-ho // Player 388
♡— Him not saying I love you…
Never happens. Either he is dead and not able to reply to you or already said it multiple times throughout the day. Dae-ho has separation anxiety and gets nervous when he doesn’t have you in line of his sight or not around him in general, that’s why he always tells you how much he loves you whenever he can.
Off to the bathroom? I love you. Bringing the trash out? I love you. Getting dressed? You’re gorgeous and I love you. You could be simply existing and Dae-ho would bury his face in your neck and mumble a soft I love you into your warm skin, his lips planting a soft kiss here and there.
Dae-ho is just a little scared about saying his usual affirmation in front of his family, mostly his father. He’s a very affectionate and physical man but he still wants to look like the tough-marine-son his dad wants to see.
His sisters know better though, they see how their brother’s eyes twinkle in delight when you help his mom out in the kitchen with the dinner.
He does make it up to you after coming home though. Your boyfriend will stuff the leftovers his mom gave him into the microwave and usher to you made yourself comfortable on the couch while he makes some preparations to completely pamper you for the rest of the evening.
Sometimes Dae-ho’ll even try to flirt a little but he’s still a little awkward in that department.
“Hey, do you want some snacks with that? A drink? O-Or am I enough of a snack…?”
˚✧₊⁎⁺˳
♡— You not saying I love you…
Every time Dae-ho tells you that he loves you, you always reply with equal enthusiasm. How could you not? That golden retriever of a man gets that almost childish smile of his whenever you kiss his cheek or just tell him that he looks handsome today.
Once, you tested how he’d react when you don’t give him his hourly dose of dopamine by deflecting or ignoring his touches.
As his arms securely snaked around your waist and gently pulled you against his torso, you paid him no mind and continued to stir the ramen in the food container. He watched the noodles move in circles and gave your waist a gentle poke, trying to pull your attention to him. Dae-ho’s eyes slowly dimmed and the edges of his smile turned downwards.
The silence made him seriously nervous. You could feel his rapidly increasing heartbeat drum against your back.
“Hey… is everything okay? Did I do something wrong? I’m sorry. Can you talk to me?…”
Gi-hun // Player 456 (post s1)
♡— Him not saying I love you…
Gi-hun always reassures you of his love, even during arguments. He wants you to know that he cherishes and loves you for the rest of his life and that you are his everything. Whenever he doesn’t say I love you, something must’ve happened.
He has been missing for a whole week and you had no idea where your boyfriend went. Gi-hun didn’t leave a note, a voice mail, no nothing!
And after he returned and suddenly began giving you expensive gifts, the same boyfriend that used to ask you for money to get himself an convenience store dinner, now began buying you new headphones, bracelet and whatever else you even eyed.
It was nice, sure, but you were more worried about his mental state. He was paranoid and quiet, kept checking his whole body for some kind of tracker and barely ever spoke what was on his mind. Gi-hun began having panic attacks and you were barely able to leave his side because of how terrified he was to leave you alone.
He barely touched you, gave you kisses or affection. He changed after whatever happened during that week he went missing.
While running your fingers through his hair, trying to make him fall asleep after being awake for two days straight, he sleepily stared up at you through his dyed-red hair. His voice was quiet, broken almost.
“I’m sorry. Please… know that I love you. I love you so much.. Don’t leave me, please… please...”
˚✧₊⁎⁺˳
♡— You not saying I love you back…
Your boyfriend called out to you but you didn’t quite hear what he said, so you replied with an “yeah!” and just hoped that that’s an appropriate response to whatever he tried to tell or ask you. It wasn’t.
Gi-hun stood there for a couple of moments, waiting on your reply to yelling “I love you!” across the whole apartment. When nothing came, he didn’t call out to you again. You were probably busy with something or don’t want him with your right now, he gets that.
Later though, thoughts of self-doubt began to cook up inside his mind. As he bit all his nails to shreds he overthought about how you had enough of him now. Maybe you are falling out of love now after how the death games fucked up his mind and body. You’re surely fed up with his paranoia and secretive behaviour, how much he has been obsession over finding a weird salesman. Surely.
The metallic taste that spread inside his mouth after biting the skin surrounding his nails began to open and bleed finally pulled Gi-hun out of his self-destructive thoughts that continued to circle like a toy train. Picking up his throwaway phone and choosing the one contact he saved on every single burner phone he had as “Reason to smile ❤️” and pressing the call button.
“Gi-hun? What’s wrong?” Your voice forced a small smile to form on his face. He hesitated
“Hey. Just wanted to ask if I should bring some take out home tonight. That’s all.”
In-ho // The Frontman // Player 001
♡— Him not saying I love you…
It’s purely just to tease you. When bored, In-ho will make you his greatest entertainment.
He likes making you annoyed and flustered, so he’ll intentionally ignore you just to make you react and pout at him adorably while he was trying so hard to keep his stone cold face and not break into a shit-eating grin and maybe even pull on your cheek to make you whine even more.
In-ho adores your whole being and cherishes all of your affections, so he’ll let himself get showered in them any tome he can.
Expect you to he cuddled up on his lap while he was leaning back in the leather chair, mumbling a complaint about how you covered his whole face in kisses but managed to miss the bridge of his nose. He will not allow you to move off his lap until you covered his whole face in kisses again as compensation for that mistake of yours.
So, In-ho’ll intentionally not give you affection so you pay even more attention to him. He is like a cat in that way weirdly enough.
Once you finally break his facade, the flood gates will open and you will be showered, bathed, drowned in his affection, physical and verbal.
“Fine. I’ll say it just because you’ve been so good to me today. I love you, my dearest, lovely darling.”
˚✧₊⁎⁺˳
♡— You not saying I love you back…
In-ho has a dedicated frequency on his walkie-talkie for you, so he can call in and ask you to come to his office for a kiss that cannot wait, to inform you that he is in the bedroom and retiring for the day or just to tell you that he loves you randomly throughout the day.
Of course, you’d always reply back with your own gadget, but to pay back his infinite teasing he has done to you, you decided to ignore him the way he sometimes does to you. Payback.
Your husband called into your frequency. “Dove, are you free right now? Come to my office, I miss you.” and so your game begins. You simply ignored his request and continued getting comfortable in your bed and all the sheets surrounding you, grinning to yourself as you awaited the next time In-ho calls in again, for which you don’t have to wait long for.
“Darling, I am waiting. Do you want me to send someone to pick you up?” Your grin widened as you heard how impatient he was slowly getting with the lack of your response. “I can see you in the bedroom.” That one caught you off guard. Did he install cameras in your shared bedroom??
Almost on cue, your bedroom door opened, revealing the masked Frontman. His shoulders were tense and you could feel his intense state through the mask. You stared back, not expecting how quickly your husband would cave in and visit you himself. Innocently, you batted your lashes at him.
In-ho slipped his mask off and carelessly tossed it on the nightstand. “Why are you ignoring me? Are you upset or just moody?” Unimpressed, you silently glared at him. He gave you an equally uninterested look and leaned down to your face to give you a small peck on your cheek. “Not enough. More.”
A chuckle escaped his lips as his lips cracked into a smile.
“Demanding, aren’t we? Fine. As you wish.”

Author’s note. Thank you for reading <3
Watch me announce that I’m going to post In-ho’s yandere profile and proceed to get hit with the most ungodly group-assignment in Chemistry. Anyways, take this as an apology! Had to write a little fluff for them since the only thing I’m finding is smut 🙏😭 I’m not complaining but this fluff prompt came to me like a truck during a class of mine. It was originally inspired by this post and I made a similar one before for the Demon Slayer hashira. Check it out if you’re interested!!
Anyways, make sure to EAT, SLEEP and DRINK enough!!
Take care of yourselves <33

fellas, have you ever wondered if a man could ever be as adorable and cute as a baby kitten? well now you can experience and love on in real life! suiana presents to you innocent! yandere and smitten reader ❤️
your very own innocent boy who doesn't even know what NNN or OF means. his instagram feed is full of baking and and clothing ideas, he goes out to help stray animals, and he goes on daily walks to the park to reconnect with nature. he has no idea what a skibidi toilet is, brain completely nourished with the books he borrows from the library. yeah, this guy smells like bread and cookies too btw, he does lots of baking. and cooking. have i mentioned he's completely skilled in the kitchen? yeah, he is.
by some stroke of luck, you meet him one day and... look, he's just the cutest thing ever! i mean, he's fashionable, smells good, and was even defending a stray dog from being bullied by some kids. so you ask him out on a date, but the second you ask him the question you swear you could just die on the spot... because tell me why his entire face is red and he's genuinely so happy??? all smiley faced and blushing like a tomato???
oh it's his first time getting asked out and he's flustered??? he's never been approached by anyone before??? he thinks you're really attractive and he would like to go out on a date too??? oh my god guys, he's even asking if you're comfortable with him rambling like this and not trying to get too close without your consent😭
anyway the two of you go out on a date and you think you just might marry him on the spot with how much of a gentleman he's being??? INSISTING on paying for your meal, respecting your distance and being genuinely curious about you on a deeper level. no mention of hooking up, being casual fwb or anything like that. he's... actually looking for a serious relationship unlike your previous partners? holy shit? so you asked him his thoughts on cheating and some other stuff...
"so what are your thoughts on cheating?"
"cheating?"
"yeah, like when you get with someone else when you're dating."
"isn't that illegal?"
HELLO??? he thinks cheating is ILLEGAL??? you had to spend the rest of your date trying not to cry or hug him because he ended up finding out some devastating news.
"yes... cheating is illegal unfortunately."
"I don't know why. it should be illegal, that is a very bad thing to do 😦 do people actually cheat? really? no way."
UGRHGRGR you two end up dating and he's the sweetest guy you've been with. cute date nights, reassurance that you're perfect and enough, handmade gifts and deep talks into the night that deepen your bond together... the only problem is just that maybe he's a little too sweet.
he's constantly buying you gifts, telling you how much he appreciates you and just... being the perfect boyfriend? the perfect clingy boyfriend.
at first you found it cute. but...
why is he so in love with you? why is he so nice? you don't know what to do with a man as sweet as him and can only give into his seemingly harmful actions. you used to think that he had an ulterior motive but... you don't know whether you're being deceived or not. why would you? he's not being manipulative. how could he ever be manipulative? he's just a sweet and nice green flag!
asking you to always be with him? that's just a romantic thing everyone else says. chasing away any people who shows the slightest bit of interest, even if it's not confirmed to be romantic? what kind of boyfriend would he be if he didn't do that? asking for your location if you ever try to go out without him? silly lover, why would you worry him like that?
no no, he's not being possessive. okay, maybe he is. it's just a tiny bit though! surely you're fine with that. after all, he's still treating you like the royalty that you are. he should be allowed some grace for his unwillingness to share.
you're not sure whether or not he's truly innocent or not. was he even innocent to begin with? maybe, maybe not. perhaps it was all just an act...
but you shouldn't think that. why would you think badly of your boyfriend who's only ever been sweet to you? even during fights, he doesn't raise his voice and actively listens to you, trying to resolve the issue. he could never want to hurt you.
after all, he's your innocent boyfriend that you're smitten with, right?

regina george is so hot.
au!powder x reader
summary: she’s tired of bottling these tormenting desires, would you give her a hand?
notes: nsfw, modern au, 5,7k wc. loosely based on “naked in manhattan” by chappel roan. initially written abt jinx, but i decided to try with powder! um, i dunno why this is so damn long.. i hope it doesn’t suck, Don’t even ask me to proofread.
🃜🃚🃖🃁🂭🂺
“regina george is so hot.” you hear her voice on your side, making you pause mid chewing.
it was one of your usual sleepovers; popcorn, movies. you also steal cans of beer from her dad’s bar right below the apartment. a routine you’ve set since you were 15.
“yeah..?” you frown in confusion, glancing at her curiously and then back at the screen of her laptop.
“I mean, don’t you agree?”
she pauses the movie to look at you and raising eyebrow expectantly. she already knew what your answer was.. the only right answer.
“obviously,” you play along, sipping on the beer as you avoid her gaze. “it’s just the way you said it… as if you’re attracted to girls.”
as far as you know, powder was straight— you both were. you’ve seen her drool over boys, the walls of her room covered with posters of male artists (and scientists), she loves to flirt around with the male population, never once casting a second glance at a girl like that. hell, you were pretty sure she currently had a thing going on with ekko.
she rolls her eyes and shoves your shoulder like you said the most ridiculous thing, “I’m just pointing out the obvious!”
it was an obvious statement that everyone can agree with. you just don’t mistakenly say it with such a yearning tone.
as you sit together, she takes another look at you with the corner of her eye, a curious thought running through her mind, her heart beating faster… she tries her best to not let it show, but she can’t help to keep drifting her eyes off the movie to you.
she has a pretty girl drinking beer and watching a movie as they laid on her bed.
and she’s yearning.
what if? she thinks to herself, before hastily trying to shut the thought down.
after a few minutes, she takes a long swig of the beer, hoping it’ll help her forget that silly idea…
she tries to focus on the movie, but her mind is a growing mess. what if?... she looks over at you, taking in the way the light from the dimmed screen flashes over your face, enhancing your beauty.
what if i try?
no, she can’t. you’re friends. just friends.. you don’t cross lines like that. you can’t cross lines like that.
but.. it would be so easy to just reach out and… no, stop that.
powder tries her best to act normal, laughing and commenting on the movie with you, but that thought just won’t leave her mind.
curiosity just builds up more and more. her eyes keep roaming back to you, taking in every curve of your face, every move of your body, as my brain is fighting a battle against this sudden.. need to test the boundaries.
she shifts in the bed, trying to find a more comfortable position. her heart is skipping beats as she tries to make it casual, like it’s nothing. her fingers keep rubbing the muscle of her thigh, pretending to be massaging a cramp until she built the courage to finally speak.
“my leg is cramping,” she grumbled while rubbing and massaging her leg. “mind lending me a hand?” she says, hoping that her comment would pass out as a joke so she can forget about this.
you eye her, scoffing a quiet chuckle. “are you serious?”
there it is, she should laugh it off and focus on the movie. she should keep whatever desire she’s feeling buried deep inside and set her mind on ekko, the boy everyone knows has the hots for her—
“please?” she pleads. “it hurts so bad.”
she keeps gently rubbing her leg, and with a subtle shift in her position her oversized shirt rides up, revealing more of her thigh as she angles it slightly towards you.
her stomach flutters when your eyes travel towards her exposed skin. you hesitate, taking in the way her muscle twitches slightly, your left hand finally moves and falls on her pale thigh, starting to knead and immediately looking back at the movie.
powder almost let out a sigh of relief as your hand finally touches her. she watched intently as your hand massages her thigh, working the muscle.
you were so agreeable, too, never having trouble to convince you to do whatever she wanted.
she wondered how far she could take it. how much are you willing to please her..?
she leans back against the headboard of the bed, her mind racing as she silently enjoys the sensations of your touch.. the heat of your hand against her skin, the way your fingers gently press into her leg. her body is responding to your touch in a way it never has before, and it’s taking everything in her to stay in control.
she shifts uncomfortably on the bed, unable to focus on the movie anymore.
but you kept your hand close to her knee.
“is that good?”
she almost let out a squeak as a shudder runs through you. the innocent way in which you ask that, as if you’re genuinely just trying to be helpful, is almost too much for her to handle right now.
she nods quickly, swallowing hard. “y-yeah that’s perfect.” her voice coming out just a tad huskier than before.
you turn to look at her, smiling as you squeeze her thigh. she’s got smooth skin, the faintest freckles on them. you liked that she was a little fit.
“you know… it feels even better a bit higher up.”
the words are out of her mouth before she can stop herself.
but you comply, moving ever so slightly. “there?”
she bites her lip to hold back a soft whine.
“a little higher.. please?”
her heart is racing in her chest as she asks, knowing full well where she’s leading this.
“mmkay,” you chuckle quietly, moving even higher. was it you, or did her skin feel more heated?
she lets out a shaky exhale as your hand moves higher, almost to the top of her thigh. her muscles tense slightly as your finger brushes against the hem of her small tight shorts underneath her shirt.
“h-higher.” she breathes heavily, her body is buzzing with the heat rushing through her. she’s pushing it.
you hesitate briefly, complying anyway. your fingers slowly reaching her inner thighs…
you couldn’t be crazy. she felt so warm, a burning heat coming from between her legs. it was making you feel weird in your stomach.
her breath hitches at the feeling of your fingers on her sensitive skin, the buzzing in her body almost becoming overwhelming. her brain is foggy with this new sensation, the want and need to feel your touch all over her.
she shifts slightly, spreading her legs a bit wider. “like that…”
her hands grip the bed sheets tightly, silently praying you would keep going, to touch her more.
“don’t stop.” she pleads as she feels your fingers slowly tracing the top of her shorts.
“pow…” you mumble in a warning tone. you lick your lips, feeling your mouth dry.
but she’s got so far, you can’t deny her now. please don’t deny her now.
she leans forward, resting a hand on your knee. “please.” she practically whispers, all pretense of a thigh cramp gone. “i need it… i need you.”
an unknown sound leaves your mouth against your will, something like a whimper. you can’t meet her eyes as you move your hand higher, shyly sneaking under her shorts.
she shivers as your hand finally reaches where she wanted it, having to bite her lip again to keep any embarrassing sounds at bay.
“f-fuck.” she breathes, her body going rigid as your eyes meet again. all the tension, the desire.. you can see it all in the look she’s giving you.
it’s almost too much. why do you want to moan if it’s her the one being touched? you cover your face with your free hand, trying to hide how flustered you were.
you keep exploring between her legs. the almost all-consuming warmth, magnetically luring you.
she tries to suppress a moan at the feel of your hand, covering her mouth with her own hand as the other grips at the bed sheets tightly.
“fuck..“ she curses again, her hips rocking against the touch. she’s losing all willpower to stop this now, and she can’t bring herself to care.
you touch her a bit more, flinching when you feel her arousal, pulling your hand away. “w-wait, wait.” you whimper, breathing heavily as you keep avoiding her gaze. you felt overwhelmed, flustered and confused.
and incredibly horny.
powder whined at the loss of contact, desperate for you to put your hand back but also a bit concerned with the look on your face.
she leans into you and brushes a strand of hair out of your face. “what’s wrong?” she asked, her own voice shaky.
“i-i don’t know what i’m doing—“ your lower lip trembled, the heat on your face making you feel even more embarrassed. “sorry, i’m sorry..”
she takes your face in her hands, making you look at her.
“hey.. it’s okay.” powder murmurs softly, soothing you. “don’t worry about it, alright?”
she tries to hide the disappointment from her voice, but neither of you can deny that the feeling of your hands on her was electrifying. tantalizing the vulnerable boundaries of your friendship and sexuality.
“let’s just... let’s just watch the movie, okay?”
you lean into her, hiding in the crook of her neck as you grasp her shirt, powder has her arms wrapped around you in a heartbeat, holding you against her.
“you’re okay.“ she whispers, trying her best to soothe you and ignore the fact she’s painfully aroused right now.
“i’m sorry…” you mumble again, now conscious of her real needs. you wanted to please her, you actually did. you were just so overwhelmed in the moment, the sudden wetness that pooled in your core scared you.
she leans back against the headboard of the bed, with you in her arms. she smelled so good, you didn’t wanna leave this spot.
“…let me try again.” you whisper shyly, now your right hand teasing the edge of her shorts.
powder sucks in a sharp breath as your hand moves back to the edge of her shorts, her body going rigid.
“are you sure? “ she asks hesitantly, still wary of your reaction, and unsure if she could handle the disappointment of you stopping again.
“mmhm,” you nod into her neck, grateful that she can’t see your furious blush. your hand goes back under her clothes, letting out a shaky breath when you feel her pussy with your fingers again.
powder bites her lip to hold back a moan, her head falling back against the headboard, fighting her body to keep her hips from rocking against your palm. she grabs your shirt, fisting the fabric tightly in your hand as she concentrates on her breathing.
“w-wait..” she gasps, trying to speak coherent words as her brain is getting foggy by the pleasure building inside her.
“w-what?” you quickly slip away again, worried that you might have done something wrong, but she reached out, taking your hand in hers and bringing it back to her shorts, guiding you where she wanted you.
“no…” she says, and this time despite her own voice betraying her, she tries to sound more reassuring. “i just… i just need you to keep going.. faster.”
“like this?” you murmur, hesitantly rubbing in circles.
she lets out an unashamed moan as your finger teases her clit, her hand gripping your shoulder as if trying to ground herself.
“y-yeah.. just like that.” her praise is a faint sigh, closing her eyes as the pleasure you’re providing her is the only thing occupying her mind.
you moan too, you can’t help it, your sounds quiet and muffled. she felt so hot, she sounded so hot. you were growing agitated, relishing in the ravenous way she moved her hips into you.
she’s almost shaking now, her body desperately wanting more, wanting release. her breathing is labored as she tries to speak.
“m-more, hm..please.” she manages to gasp out, letting her hand fall from your shoulder to grip the sheets once more.
you obey, paying close attention to which movements made her twitch and moan the most.
powder’s torn between keeping her mouth shut, in a desperate attempt to hold back all the needy moans and whines that threaten to spill from her mouth, and cry out loud, to let the neighbors know how good you’re making her feel.
she struggles to keep her body under control, but your every touch feels like she’s on fire, a ticking bomb waiting to explode. and she doesn’t want anything more than to just give into the pleasure.
her body writhing from your voracious stimulation, she’s not even trying to hold back anymore. she clutches at your arm as your touch grows confident, fingers spreading her folds, reaching her tight entrance to gather her fluids and go back to furiously rub her clit, learning that it was what made her react the most.
she was so close, so close... just a little more, and she’s almost there. powder pressed her hand against her mouth again, trying to stifle a deep moan coming from the back of her throat.
“jinx…” you whine quietly, your hand getting drenched in her juices as you work on her pussy. “‘wanna hear you…”
she instantly removes her hand from her mouth, her eyes closed and her mind so overwhelmed from the pleasure and her impending orgasm that she’s not even really aware of what’s happening anymore, her whole focus fixed on you, and the pleasure you’re giving her.
“s-so close—!“ she gasps.
you can’t stop yourself from squeezing your thighs together as she’s making little whines and whimpers in the back of my throat that sound completely needy at this point, aching for release.
“please,” she begged breathlessly. “i’m almost.. i’m so close, i just need a little more…”
her fingers dig into your arm, and you’re pretty sure if she squeezes any tighter her nails would draw blood.
the whine leaving her mouth ringed in your ear, the tension starting to peak. her thighs squeezes your hand, and to your surprise, she got more wet. her creamy orgasm moistened your palm, her body shocking sharply, scaring you for a second. but she doesn’t let you pull back, so you keep touching her as she rides her high.
just after a whole minute she stops trembling that much.
she keeps her eyes closed, her body still trembling ever so slightly. she feels boneless, like all her energy just left her body.
after a few seconds, she managed to blink her eyes open and find your worried gaze.
powder lets out a shaky exhale, and her hand moves from your arm to your cheek.
“i’m okay…“ she assures you, her voice sounding hoarse. she keeps her hand against your cheek, and she’s struck by the way you’re looking at her, your face still flushed with color.
“fuck, jinx…” you mumble with a frown, leaning into her hand. you can barely meet her eyes without getting even more flustered. your hand is still inside her shorts.
she chuckled softly, still feeling the afterglow from her orgasm.
“you can take your hand away now…” she murmured, her thumb stroking your cheek.
you flush in embarrassment, quickly shifting away. you look down at your hand, completely drenched in her fluids, her eyes follow your gaze, taking a moment to collect herself and then sit up, bringing a hand to your chin to turn you face her.
“hey..” she says softly, her voice still a tad shaky. “you okay?”
“gotta clean up,” you blurted, rushing to the bathroom in an attempt to escape the awkwardness that filled your body.
what the hell just happened…?
she watches as you dart away, feeling her stomach drop nervously, she took a deep breath and tried to clear her head, suddenly realizing the mess that is still between her thighs.
powder gets up and grabs a towel from a nearby chair, using it to clean herself off before throwing it in the laundry basket.
she considers following you to the bathroom, but she’s not sure if she should. you needed a minute to yourself, and she was worried about making things awkward.
more than it already was.
she sits back down on the bed, still a little shaken from what just happened. you both knew your friendship would never be the same after tonight.
you liked to believe otherwise. desperately. it was probably the heat of the moment, she was horny and you were there, so you gave her a hand. that was it.
though the wetness between your legs said that you were indeed affected by this.
you tried to ignore it.
you get out of the bathroom and make your way back next to her in the bed, not sparing her a glance as you fix the computer where it was and go back the minutes you missed from the movie.
powder can’t help the way her heart twinges a little as you keep your distance and don’t even look at her. it hurts more than she’d like to admit. she’s starting to think that maybe, maybe she did read this whole situation wrong.
so she keeps quiet, unsure of what to say now that you’re back. she can’t even pretend to focus on the movie, her thoughts whirling in her head.
her eyes keep stealing glances at you, searching your face for any clue as to how you feel. she’s trying to find some hint of that flush on your cheeks, something to give her some hope that what you did affected you just as much as it did to her.
the only hint she gets is the way your thighs are pressed so tightly together that it's almost like you're trying to hold back any evidence of what just happened.
you sit there in the quiet of the room, the only sound being the movie playing on the computer. she’s growing antsy, desperate to know if this changed your friendship or not.
finally, her impatience wins over and she can’t sit quietly anymore. she breaks the silence, her voice uncharacteristically small.
“are we not going to talk about it?”
you frown instantly, distractedly taking some popcorn.
“if you want,” you say, trying so hard to feign nonchalance.
you hear powder sigh a bit too loudly, she’s taken back by your response. she tries not to let it bother her as she gathered her thoughts.
“i just…” she begins, hesitating a little. “i just wanted to know if…” she trails off, not sure how to ask her next question. she bites her lip, trying to summon the courage to just spit it out. “were you.. okay with.. what we did?” she finally managed to ask, her hands clenched into fists in her lap. she was trying to keep her voice even, but it was obvious she was a little nervous about your answer.
your thighs clenched again, letting out a shaky breath.
“y-yeah, sure. i just.. helped you out.” you try to dismiss again, ignoring your own blush and arousal.
“just helped out?” she echoed, a little bitterly.
she bites her lip, unable to keep the pang of disappointment from her heart.
she wasn’t sure what she was expecting, but it wasn’t this nonchalant attitude. she forced herself to continue, trying to keep the emotion from her voice.
“so you didn’t.. enjoy it at all?”
you look at her, wide eyed. “w-we’re not like that, jinx.” you reminded her, scared of your own reactions, you… feelings. “i dunno…”
she feels something inside her twist in an unpleasant way, and she fights to control her face and keep the disappointment buried deep inside her.
“you’re right.. we’re just friends...” I murmur as realization sets in that you really didn’t see anything more about what you did.
she forces herself to look away, staring back at the movie screen so you don’t see the emotions in her face.
but she’s your friend, of course you’d notice.
you don’t like seeing her like that, instantly urging you to comfort her. you cuddle her side, pouting softly as you wrap your arms around her waist. it felt right.
her breath hitches in her throat when she feels your arms wrapping around her. she leaned into your body instinctively, her head falling on your shoulder.
It feels like you’re offering some comfort, some kindness, after the rejection she’s feeling.
“friend’s help each other out.” she murmured half jokingly under her breath, sounding a bit self-deprecating.
you repeat her words in your mind, growing more and more conscious of the burning feeling in my core.
maybe…
you nuzzle into her neck for a moment, before daring to speak. “c-could you help me?”
she’s completely caught off guard by your words, her eyes widening a little as she looks at you. your words had so much implication behind them.
“hel you..?” she asks slowly, trying to get you to clarify. a part of her didn’t want to get her hopes up in case she was misinterpreting it.
you’re quick to specify, taking her left hand to press it over your pants, almost naturally rocking your hips enthusiastically. she’s sure she has never seen you so… demanding.
“it’s aching…” you whimper softly, “you made me feel like this…”
she sucks in a breath as she feels the heat coming from your core. she lets her hand linger on your shorts as her eyes roam your face.
“i did..?” she says, surprise coloring my voice. she’s surprised that this effect you were having on her was mutual. “but I thought we’re just friends?” you noticed the faintest smirk tugging at her lips, naturally teasing you.
though powder almost doesn’t believe what’s happening right now. she keeps her hand between your legs, moving a little closer to you, her eyes fixed on your face.
“so you like it when i touch you like this?” she asks in a voice laced with both surprise and just a hint of smugness.
you’re instantly crumbling, nodding fervently as you hide in her neck again, breathing heavily.
“hurry…”
powder slowly drags her hand up your shorts, her fingers playing with the elastic of your underwear, and she takes a moment to revel in the way your breath stutters out, your body shifting restlessly against her.
“hurry..?” she mocked, “are you… impatient?”
“n-no, please don’t tease me jinx.” i begged, grasping onto her shirt. “i helped you out, please.”
she chuckled softly at your adorable begging. “‘can’t help it, you’re just too cute when you’re horny.” she tells you, before giving in to your pleading.
her hand moves further into your shorts, her fingers slowly rubbing against the throbbing button in your panties and drawing out a shaky gasp from you.
“like this, is this what you need?” she murmured, her tone still just a little titillating, but her words were sincere.
“you know it is,” you pouted, buckling your hips into her touch.
“mhmm,” she hummed, pleased to know she’s teased you enough to break you. she keeps her touch light, her fingertips circling teasing you without doing enough to actually give you any real relief.
“you’re already so worked up...” she remarks, feeling the wetness that’s already leaking into your underwear. “i didn’t even do that much to you.” she teases again, enjoying the way you gasp and writhe against her.
she brushes her lips against your neck, nipping and kissing on the sensitive skin. “you’re such a mess…” she murmured against your skin.
you grunted, moving your hand to grip her hair. “please—“ you breathed out into her jaw.
she hears the pleading in your voice, mixed in with just a hint of annoyance, and she can’t help the way her stomach twists with arousal at the sound.
“alright, i won’t tease anymore” she soothes, her fingers moving a little firmer against you, searching for a way to give you what you need.
you whine softly, your back arching into her, you were a tangled mess, her laptop once again sliding to the side as you kept shifting in the bed. you felt her breath against your cheek…
you kinda wanted to kiss her.
she lets her eyes roam over your face, taking in your flushed skin and your parted lips. powder was having a hard time concentrating with you so close, just like you, your every thought circling back to the fact that you wanted to kiss her.
“you’re so pretty.” she murmured absentmindedly, her fingers rubbing a little harder, deciding that she also wanted more, she slipped her hand underneath your panties, caressing your cunt shamelessly and pushing two fingers inside you at once, bringing out a guttural moan from you.
your eyes flickering from her lips to her blue hooded gaze. your chin tilted up without you realizing, feeling dizzy.
she noticed your eyes lingering on her lips, and her breath stuttered for a moment in her chest, feeling her own desire welling up.
she knows she probably shouldn’t kiss you, that it would change everything. but you’re right there, your parted lips so close to hers, and she finds she doesn’t have the self control to stop herself any longer. if she ever had it at all.
her fingers pause agonizingly inside you, as she leaned her head in and closed the distance, pressing her lips against yours before you could let out the irritated cry of complaint.
it’s short, sweet. you kissed her back before pulling away, shyly meeting her eyes for a second.
she pulls back a moment after you, feeling dazed from the short lived kiss. she keeps her eyes trained on you as she tries to regain her bearings a little.
“you didn’t seem to mind that very much.” she commented a little breathlessly, a small smile forming on her lips as she takes in your flushed expression.
you can only frown, tugging at her hair to pull her down again, kissing her deliberately, making her gasp a little in surprise her hair getting tugged harder by your grip as your lips press against hers. she has a moment to react before her mind melts away, and she just leans into you in a more heated kiss.
with her hand still between your thighs, the rest of her body follows as she settles on top of you, her other hand keeping itself propped up in the bed.
the kiss turns just a little more desperate, her tongue seeking out your mouth as it becomes harder to concentrate, but she finds she doesn’t particularly mind.
it gets messier, your dizziness making it hard for tou to follow her pace, her tongue and yours clashing everywhere. you moaned into her lips, grinding your hips against her hand. you felt little tears pricking in the corner of your eyes from the building pleasure.
she moaned with you, her hand moving a little more urgently against you, pounding her fingers mercilessly. and if it weren’t for the way she’s propped up on top of you, she would have probably started to grind against you a little herself.
you have to pull back from the kiss, a growling sound escaping from your throat as your back arches to press into her chest. she was hitting your sweet spot with an unrelenting pace.
she watches in awe as you curled into her hand, her mouth almost going dry at the sight of your face so overcome with pleasure. her breathing is labored as she tries to keep her hand in the most steady pace, her eyes never leaving your face.
“right there?” she asks urgently, her tone almost a little desperate for you to answer.
“yes” you sobbed, tears streaming down your reddened warm cheeks. “feels so good, hm— i can’t..” you blabbered.
her need to make you feel good, to give you the release you’ve been seeking takes over all my thoughts, powder is utterly fascinated by you, and she’s consumed in the urge to make you fall apart.
her fingers continued their assault on your abused pussy, pushing you to delirium. you never thought powder could be so talented with her hand, if your mind was clearer you would’ve questioned how did she know where and how to push the right buttons. her thumb moved to play with your unattended clit as her face leaned close to your ear.
“don’t cry.” she urged, her voice low and gravelly. “i’m going to take care of you, okay? i’m going to make you feel so good. just tell me you’re mine.”
it felt so good hearing that, just as much as it confused you. “w-what?”
in reality, her own words had surprised her, powder felt herself faltering for a moment. she didn't mean to say that, but with you so vulnerable and desperate beneath her, it just came out.
“just—“ she begins, attempting a confident voice. “just tell me you’re mine right now. that’s all i need.”
you comply without thinking much, her words making you impossibly wetter.
“m’yours.” you whimpered, “i’m yours, jinx, only yours.”
powder shivers a little at your words as a possessive feeling seizes her heart, making her want to pull you even closer and never let go.
“good.” she murmurs, as she returns her body against yours, her head nuzzling into your neck. she continues her touch, fucking you at a frantic, almost animalistic pace, the wet sounds of your cunt lasciviously echoing in her room. “now be a good girl and come for me”
she doesn’t have to tell you twice, reaching your peak effortlessly under her touch. you can’t say you really tried to control your body, feeling possessed by something else, something bigger than you. powder doesn’t stop her movements until you’ve ridden out the aftershocks and your body relaxes, a sense of pride welling up in her chest at seeing you come apart so easily for her.
she buries her head into your shoulder, taking a couple more deep breaths to slow her thoughts. she’d be lying to herself if she said this didn’t mean more to her than just two friends helping each other out.
so she rather don’t say anything for a moment, just listening to the sound of your breathing as your body comes down from the high. she let some of the possessive feelings wash away, settling on just enjoying the contentment of staying so close to you.
you feel more calm, but you were craving something. tugging at her hair again gently, you pull her face close to yours.
her eyes lift her head to look at you. her heart stutters seeing you looking so flushed, your hair messy around your head.
“what is it?” she asked softly, resting her chin on your chest.
“kiss,” you mumble so quietly that you barely hear yourself.
a flicker of surprise briefly passes through her mind as she registers your words, her chest almost clenching at the soft and almost shy tone of your request.
her blue eyes search your face for a moment before her gaze lands on your lips. she moved into them without another word, pressing her lips softly against yours.
she parts her lips against yours, taking a moment to relish in the sweet feeling of your mouth against hers. she gently slides her tongue into your mouth, savoring you in a different way than she did before. her hand moving up from your shorts to caress your neck.
but you pull back reluctantly, taking her wrist in your hand.
“dirty fingers.” you point out.
she lets out a sheepish chuckle, her cheeks flushing as she realized her dirty fingers had just touched your skin. “you’re right...” she murmurs, holding up her hand a little bit to look at the evidence staining her fingers.
she brings her messy fingers to her mouth and starts to lick them clean, maintaining eye contact with you as she watches your reaction.
oh my god…
your eyes widened, your darkened gaze fixed on the way she tasted you so greedily, an intense blush creeps on your cheeks as she hollowed hers, humming in delight.
a satisfied smile appeared on her lips as she saw the color on your face and felt the way your breath stutters as you watch her suck her fingers clean.
“you taste so good.” she praised, loving the way her words make you squirm a little underneath her.
“what is it?” she asks, amused at your pouty expression. she shifts her weight a little so she’s leaning on her forearms, hovering above you. she takes a moment to admire the sight of you splayed beneath her, disheveled and breathless from her touch.
you let her now bring her hand up to caress your flushed cheek, her eyes roaming between your face and that pouty mouth of yours. “tell me what you’re thinking,” she whispered, though her voice still sounded a little rougher than usual. “you’re not… not regretting what we just did again, right?”
“n-no, no, i don’t regret it.” you rushed to say, stumbling over your words. you can’t stand the way her mouth pouted at you, anticipating the worst. “that’s.. sort of the problem, pow… i, um—”
“the problem?” she interrupted, *almost* scowling.
“i mean, not the problem,” you tried to correct yourself. “this is just, um, new.”
ah.
she almost sighs in relief as you explain yourself, her shoulders relaxing. powder lets her body rest more heavily on top of you, her head dipping down so she could rest her chin on your shoulder without having to prop herself up with her arms.
“new and good?” she inquires quietly against your ear, needing to hear the answer to quell her nervousness.
you slowly move your arms to embrace her as she keeps her head nestled in the crook of your neck, cuddling warmly. you’re suddenly consumed with the desire to breathe in the scent of her hair.
“you need time to process things?” she suggested in a murmur into your skin, closing her eyes and just relishing in your closeness for the moment.
“yes,” you quavered, appreciating her understanding. your grip tightened, giving in to your desires as your nose pressed into her soft blue hair. “but don’t leave.”

You’d never understand.
Those words actually really hurt William. It didn’t matter that William really knew what this was all about, it didn’t matter that Isa told him. What mattered was that Sebastian didn’t want to tell him. William was just… so hurt, so upset, and angry that his boyfriend didn’t want to tell him about his real doubts. And that he truly thought he would leave him when his appearance changes due to chemo. That was just ridiculous, and William couldn’t believe that Sebastian thought he was this kind of person.
“How can you say that? You really think that I wouldn’t understand you?” William said, trying to keep his voice steady. But it was hard. His voice was trembling, he was very upset. But he was really keeping himself in check, trying to remain calm and collected.
“You can make a good decision. Good decision is to get treatment.” William said then, a bit more firmly now. He was feeling… desperate. He couldn’t let Sebastian put his life at stake for something so… so silly! No, of course he understood how important looks were for his boyfriend, but… but surely his health and life should be above that!
William wanted to give Sebastian a piece of his mind, but he couldn’t do that without revealing that Isa told him everything. So he tried to coax Sebastian into telling him everything on his own.
“Baby… if you want to grow old with me, if we have those kinds of plans, if we want to commit for life… how can there be secrets between us? How can there be doubts? How can you say I wouldn’t understand…?”
For I have sinned...
The principal cleared his throat, eyes scanning the notes that he had wrote down before this meeting. It already lasted an hour, and the teachers gathered in the faculty room were becoming restless and bored. But indeed there were some things to discuss, with the concert that the senior class was supposed to perform at the end of the semester, and with recent staff changes.
William glanced down at his watch, sighing softly. His class was starting in 15 minutes, so at least, whether the meeting will be done soon or not, he will get to excuse himself. He looked out of the window, his mind wandering. Principal’s voice turned into white noise in the background. It was a pleasant day, late summer. But William was looking forward to a slightly cooler weather. Wearing all black could really be bothersome at times.
“And lastly, I am pleased to announce that we have finally found replacement for the violin teacher. Dear Mr Tanaka, may he rest in peace, was with us for so many years that I’ve been concerned we won’t be able to find someone as good as to fill this position.” the principal spoke. “But Mr… Michaelis, was highly recommended to me, and he indeed has impressive references. He will be starting this week, so please welcome him warmly once he will arrive. Ah yes… about that. He will arrive today at noon, I need someone to pick him up from the train station and bring over for the tour around the school. Any volunteers?”
William was barely listening, and definitely not paying much attention. He glanced at his watch again, and saw that it was time to leave, as his class was about to start. He raised his hand to excuse himself, and little did he know, he just volunteered.
“Father William! Excellent!” the principal exclaimed. “Just don’t be late, the train arrives at noon.”
“Train…?” William questioned, raising his brow. He had a feeling he was missing something…
***
Right after the meeting, William had to run for the class, so he had little time to clarify what exactly he had volunteered for. He was a piano teacher in this Music Academy, but also he served as a priest in local church. Well respected, and rather liked. So when he later found out it was about the new violin teacher, he didn’t refuse. Who, other than himself, would be a better choice to introduce a newcome to their community?
So even though he raised his hand by accident, he accepted this fate.
After classes, at noon, William took a taxi and drove to the train station, to pick up their new teacher. Wearing black trousers, and a black shirt with a thin tie, was absolutely dreadful in this weather, so William quickly found shelter under the roof of the station platform, that provided some shade.
The train had just arrived. William had no idea how Mr Michaelis looked like, but he figured he will just look for someone carrying a violin case with them.
He was in for a bit surprise.

“Y/N, pookie, cutie patootie, I’m baaack!~
The first of multiple drafts about Shadow Milk cookie. (If I can finish the rest 🥲)
You grunted lowly as you forced yourself out of the comfort of your bed at the sound of loud knocking at your door. You silently listened to fin out if the insistent banging on your door was just your imagination. You grumpily groaned when you realized the knocking was, in fact, real. Standing from your bed you wearily stumbled towards the door.
“Coming…” You yawned, hoping that the knocking would stop now that the cookie on the other side of your door knew you were awake. The knocking, however, became more persistent. You repeated that you were on your way, irritably stomping and quickening your pace. When you got to the door, you firmly gripped the doorknob and threw the door open in frustration. You expected the door to hit whoever was insistantly knocking, but you were only met with the cold breeze of the night and the stars.
Glancing around, you found no one. You huffed, chalked it up to an annoying prank, and were about to go back to bed. However, out of the corner of your eye, you spotted something on your door. A poster, fluttering gently in the breeze with an envelope taped to it. Your mind blanked as you stared at it in confusion. What kind of prank was this?
You stiffened when you recognized the Beast cookie, Shadow Milk cookie, was the one on the poster. ‘Invitation to Deceit’ was written on it, and a deep blue envelope hung beside it. You took a moment to look around again, completely awake now. Everything was normal. Nothing was out of the ordinary. You gently took the poster off your door, ripping the envelope off of it and cautiously went back inside of your house.
The envelope was a dark blue with writing in a black pen on the bottom right corner. Your name was spelt in cursive with small doodles of stars next to it. Shakily opening the envelope revealed a small ticket inside. The ticket had the same design as the poster, Shadow Milk cookie’s close up face grinning directly at you. On the back was some more writing.
‘See you soon, (Y/N) cookie,
Your favorite jester happily awaits your arrival~”
- From, you know who ;)
A terrible feeling of dread pooled in your stomach. You stared down at the note, rereading it over and over again. He’s back, you thought, your dough shaking at the realization. You needed to show this to Pure Vanilla cookie immediately.
Shoving the ticket back in the envelope you rushed to leave your house. You threw a thick coat over your shoulder and ran out into the night, clutching the envelope in your hand tightly.
It was so funny, watching you run and hide to that pathetic Soul Jam thief. Silly-Vanilly can’t do anything to save you, for he is on his way to become the one and only~ It’s only a matter of time, Y/N cookie. I’ll relish at the sight of you drowning in deceit. I’ll see ya, sooner than you think, silly goose~

home — spencer reid
pairing: spencer reid x reader ( no use of y/n ) summary: spencer comes home from a case content warnings: spencer being exhausted , mention of feeling lonely a/n: i truly am in my spencer era all i think abt is him
Spencer pushed open the door to his apartment, the familiar creak of the hinges welcoming him home.
A wave of warmth greeted him, the soft glow of the living room lamp spilling across the space, a contrast to the biting chill of the freezing night outside.
He stepped inside, letting the door shut gently behind him.
It had been a grueling four days. Four long, restless days on a case that had tested his limits emotionally and mentally.
Four days without sleep, without comfort, and—most importantly—without you.
As Spencer stepped further into the apartment, his eyes landed on you immediately. You were curled up on his couch, your back turned to him, the glow of the television flickering against the walls.
The remote was in your hand as you flipped through channels, not lingering on any one show for long. The volume was high—louder than he usually kept it—and it didn’t seem like you had noticed him yet.
He smiled to himself, the sight of you there, so at home in his space, filling his chest with warmth. He remembered the time you told him why you always came over when he was out of town.
“I just feel closer to you here,” you’d confessed once, a little sheepishly. “I know it’s silly, but it makes the time pass faster. Plus…” You’d laughed lightly, though there was a hint of shyness in your voice. “Your apartment feels so... you. It’s comforting.”
You’d also told him before that the quiet of his apartment felt strange when he wasn’t home, that the noise of the TV helped keep the loneliness at bay.
He set his bag down as quietly as he could, not wanting to startle you just yet.
Instead, he stood there for a moment, taking it all in—the way you were absentmindedly chewing on your lip as you scrolled through the channels, the way the blanket was half-falling off your shoulder, and the faint scent of your perfume lingering in the air.
You yawned loudly, stretching out on the couch before glancing at the watch on your wrist—the one Spencer had given you.
It was a thoughtful gift, something that felt like him in every way. You smiled faintly at the memory of how shy he’d been when he’d handed it to you, murmuring something about how it “reminded him of you”
It had quickly become one of your favorite things.
With a sigh, you let your head fall back against the armrest, your body slowly sinking into the cushions as you sprawled out on the couch.
The warmth of the blanket and the soft hum of the TV were comforting, but the ache of missing Spencer still lingered in your
chest. Four days without him felt like an eternity.
The sound of soft footsteps made your eyes dart toward the doorway, and you sat up slightly, your heart skipping a beat. For a moment, your mind raced, caught off guard by the shadowy figure stepping into the light.
But as the familiar sight of Spencer came into view, a wave of relief and joy washed over you.
“Spence,” you breathed, your lips curving into a wide, genuine smile. You stood up quickly, the blanket falling to the floor as you closed the distance between you. Without hesitation, you threw your arms around him, standing on your toes to pull him into a tight hug.
His arms came around you instantly, wrapping you up in his warmth as if he never wanted to let you go.
“I missed you,” he murmured against your hair, his voice soft.
“I missed you too,” you whispered, burying your face in his neck.
You let your arms slip from his neck, only to gently cup his face in your hands. His skin was warm under your touch, and your thumbs instinctively brushed along his cheekbones.
“You okay?” you asked softly, your voice barely above a whisper. It was a question you always asked, no matter what, and he always gave the same answer.
“I’m fine,” Spencer replied, his hazel eyes meeting yours. It was the same response. You could tell he was tired, not just physically but emotionally.
You didn’t push, though. Instead, you smiled gently, giving his face a final tender stroke before grabbing his hand and tugging him toward the couch.
“Come on, genius,” you said playfully, trying to lighten the mood as you pulled him down beside you.
Spencer sank into the cushions with a sigh, letting the tension melt from his body as he leaned back. But before you could settle into your own spot, his arm wrapped around your waist, gently tugging you closer.
“Stay,” he murmured.
You shifted toward him, your body curling into his side as you rested your head on his shoulder. For a while, the two of you sat there in silence, the hum of the TV playing in the background.
His fingers absentmindedly traced patterns on your arm, his touch featherlight.
But then, as if Spencer couldn’t hold himself upright any longer, he shifted, laying down fully on the couch and pulling you with him.
You laughed softly as he guided you to lie beneath him, his long limbs sprawling across the cushions. “Spence,” you said, your tone half-teasing. “You’re crushing me.”
He propped himself up just slightly, his weight resting more on his forearms as he looked down at you. “I thought you said you missed me,” he teased back, a faint smile tugging at his lips.
“I did,” you admitted, sliding your hands up to rest on his shoulders. “But I didn’t mean I wanted you to flatten me.”
Spencer chuckled, the sound low and warm as he shifted his weight again, this time fully relaxing against you but keeping enough of it off so you could still breathe.
His head rested on your chest now, his curls brushing against your chin.
“You’re comfortable,” he murmured, his voice muffled slightly as he nuzzled closer.
A soft laugh escaped you as your fingers found their way into his hair, your nails lightly grazing his scalp.
“Well, you’re lucky I don’t mind being your human pillow,” you said with a grin, threading your fingers through his curls.
Spencer sighed, his whole body melting into yours. “I could stay like this forever,” he mumbled, his voice soft and drowsy.
You smiled down at him, watching as his eyes fluttered shut.
“Good,” you whispered, continuing to run your fingers through his hair. “Because I’m not going anywhere.”

study buddy —
pairing : student!jake x student!reader
summary : a solo study session turns into admiring from a far… and maybe more.
warnings : fluff, crack maybe, featuring riki as a partner for a project, jungwon as a roommate
a/n : FIRST FIC BACK !! also i got this idea after seeing a very pretty person across from me.
— wc : 1.7k — not proof read —
the library hums with a quiet that’s almost sacred. soft footsteps echo against the polished floors, books whisper as they’re flipped through, and the occasional muffled cough breaks the stillness. you sit at one of the wooden tables near the tall windows, sunlight streaming in and pooling on the pages of your textbook. the world outside is alive, but in here, time feels like it’s slowed, reduced to the rhythm of studying and the faint click of keyboards.
it’s during one of your periodic glances up, a fleeting escape from the density of your notes, that you notice him. he’s sitting a few tables away, angled slightly toward his friend, who you vaguely recognize as a regular in the library. they’re bent over a laptop, heads close together as they whisper and scribble in a notebook. the boy, the one with the soft, dark brown hair and a laugh that’s quieter than the rustle of paper, catches your attention.
he’s… striking, in that effortless kind of way. the kind of good-looking that makes you do a double take but also makes you feel like you shouldn’t stare for too long. his features are sharp but gentle, his smile easy but not careless. his sleeves are rolled up, revealing forearms that rest against the table, and there’s a focus in his expression that makes you think he’s probably the type to finish a group project before anyone else even starts.
you shake your head, refocusing on your notes. there’s a test looming, and the last thing you need is to get distracted by someone you’ll likely never see again. but despite yourself, your eyes drift back to him every so often. it’s not intentional, it’s just… he’s there, and he’s hard not to notice.
it’s during one of these glances that he catches you. your breath hitches as his eyes meet yours, warm and curious. your immediate reaction is to look away, cheeks burning as you pretend to be engrossed in the equation you’ve been staring at for the past ten minutes. you don’t see the small smile that tugs at his lips or the way he nudges his friend, motioning subtly in your direction.
minutes pass, but your focus is shattered. the interaction plays on a loop in your head, and you silently berate yourself for being so obvious. when you finally muster the courage to peek at him again, he’s laughing at something his friend said, the sound so soft you can barely hear it. your chest tightens inexplicably.
as the hours slip by, the two of them begin to pack up. you watch out of the corner of your eye, feeling a pang of disappointment. it’s silly, really, to feel sad about someone leaving when you don’t even know their name. still, the thought of not seeing him again… of this moment fading into the anonymity of library strangers, makes your chest ache in a way you don’t fully understand.
his friend slings a bag over their shoulder, and he follows suit, standing and stretching. you force yourself to look down, pretending to read, though the words blur together. they’re walking away now, their footsteps retreating, and you tell yourself to focus, to let it go.
but then, something slides across the edge of your table. a folded piece of paper, placed there with deliberate care. your eyes snap up, and he’s there, just for a moment, meeting your gaze with a shy but unmistakable smile. “see you around,” he says softly, before turning to join his friend.
you unfold the paper with shaky hands, heart thudding in your chest. scrawled in neat handwriting is a phone number and a simple message: “if you ever want to study together.” underneath, a small doodle of a smiley face.
the rest of your study session passes in a haze. the numbers and formulas on the pages mean little compared to the number on that slip of paper. you’re torn between texting him immediately and overthinking every possible way the interaction could go. by the time you pack up and leave the library, the paper feels like it’s burning a hole in your pocket.
it takes you a day to work up the courage. sitting on your bed, the message typed out and your thumb hovering over the send button, you take a deep breath. then, before you can second-guess yourself, you hit send.
hey, it’s me. from the library. thanks for your note :)
the response is almost immediate.
hey! wasn’t sure if you’d text. glad you did.
and just like that, the conversation begins. it’s easy, surprisingly so. he introduces himself as jake, and you learn that his friend’s name is ni-ki. they’d been working on a project for their engineering class, which jake jokingly admits is mostly ni-ki’s brainchild. you tell him about your test, how you’d been in the library for hours trying to make sense of concepts that seemed to dissolve as soon as you looked away from them.
what subject? he asks.
physics, you reply, adding quickly, a stupid elective i got stuck with.
there’s a pause before his response comes through.
physics isn’t stupid! i love physics.
his enthusiasm catches you off guard. really? you type back.
yeah! it’s one of my favorite subjects. if you ever need help, i’d be happy to explain things.
you hesitate, then reply, actually, that would be amazing. i feel like i’m drowning in concepts that make no sense.
then let’s meet up! he suggests. i promise it’ll feel less overwhelming when you’re not going through it alone.
you hesitate for a moment before replying.
i’d like that.
true to his word, jake invites you to study a few days later. you meet at a different table in the library, this one tucked away in a quieter corner. he’s already there when you arrive, a coffee cup in hand and a soft smile on his face. “hey,” he says, standing as if to greet you properly. “glad you made it.”
“thanks for inviting me,” you say, setting your bag down. “and for being willing to help me with physics. honestly, it’s been such a headache.”
he laughs, shaking his head. “it’s not as bad as it seems, i promise. once you get the hang of it, it’s actually kind of fun.”
the study session turns into two, then three, and soon it becomes a regular occurrence. you start to notice little things about jake—the way he taps his pencil against his notebook when he’s thinking, how his eyes light up when he talks about something he’s passionate about, the way his laughter feels like a warm hug on a cold day. he’s patient, explaining things as many times as you need without a hint of frustration. sometimes, ni-ki joins in, teasing jake about how much effort he’s putting into helping you, but it’s all in good fun.
one evening, jake suggests meeting at his dorm instead of the library. “it’ll be quieter,” he promises, “and we’ll have more space to spread out.”
you find yourself seated on the floor of his shared dorm room, textbooks and notebooks scattered around you. the space is cozy, with a lived-in feel that somehow puts you at ease. jake’s desk is neatly organized, and there’s a faint scent of coffee lingering in the air.
“let me know if jungwon comes in and bothers you,” jake jokes as he sits cross-legged beside you. “he’s harmless but likes to make fun of me.”
“i think i can handle it,” you reply, smiling.
the study session starts like any other, with jake patiently walking you through concepts you’d struggled with. his explanations are clear and enthusiastic, and for the first time, you start to feel like physics might not be entirely impossible.
but as the evening wears on, the weight of the day catches up to you. your eyelids grow heavy, and your notes start to blur together. jake notices almost immediately.
“you okay?” he asks, tilting his head to study you. “you look tired.”
“i’m fine,” you say quickly, though your voice lacks conviction. “just a little sleepy.”
“we can take a break, you know,” he offers gently. “you don’t have to push yourself so hard.”
“i’m good,” you insist, though your head starts to nod even as he continues explaining the next problem.
he’s mid-sentence when it happens. your chin dips to your chest, and before you can catch yourself, you’ve drifted off completely. jake pauses, blinking in surprise before a soft smile spreads across his face.
carefully, he shifts to grab a spare blanket from his bed, draping it over your shoulders. he adjusts the notebook that’s still clutched in your hand, setting it aside so you’re more comfortable. for a moment, he just watches you, his expression fond.
“you’re hopeless,” he murmurs with a chuckle, though there’s no malice in his tone.
it’s then that the door opens, and jungwon steps inside. he stops short at the sight of you sleeping, wrapped in the blanket, with jake sitting nearby like a watchful guardian.
“oh,” jungwon says, his lips curling into a teasing grin. “well, isn’t this cute.”
jake flushes, shooting him a look. “shut up.”
jungwon doesn’t seem fazed. “no, seriously. you two look good together.” he gestures vaguely at the scene before heading toward his side of the room. “just saying.”
jake shakes his head, his cheeks warm, but he doesn’t deny it. instead, he glances back at you, a small smile tugging at his lips. “maybe,” he mutters under his breath, so quiet that no one but himself can hear.
when you wake up a little while later, disoriented and sheepish, jake greets you with a reassuring smile. “feel better?” he asks, his tone light.
“yeah,” you mumble, rubbing your eyes. “sorry about that. i didn’t mean to fall asleep.”
“don’t worry about it,” he says, waving it off. “you probably needed the rest.”
jungwon snickers from across the room, but jake ignores him. as you gather your things to leave, jake walks you to the door, his usual smile in place. “same time tomorrow?” he asks, and you nod, grateful for his patience… and maybe something more.
as you walk down the hallway, you can’t help but smile to yourself, the warmth of the evening lingering like a gentle glow. maybe physics wasn’t so bad after all.

Oh goodness here we go...
I don't think I've ever actually shared this online before. Now, many of my mutuals/followers are around now because my blog has become completely about the hellaverse, and I plan to keep it that way for a while. BUT my blog actually used to be all about the anime Hunter x Hunter. It's one of my fave anime of all time, and it's actually the reason why I created a Tumblr.
During peak covid times, my sister showed the first few episodes to me, and, damn, was I obsessed--not only with the plot but also with one of my favorite gay ships of all time. So my sister told me to get a Tumblr.
When it came to choosing my account name, I wanted it to be based on hxh because that was all I thought about at the time. Now, for those who don't know the show, the episode titles all have Xs between the words (e.g., the first episode is called "Departure x And x Friends.") I liked the aesthetic of it and wanted it in my handle.
Now, as for "sneaky the clown," I was immediately drawn to the character Hisoka (again, for those who don't know, just think of him as a magical clown villain who can also be a bit of an...iconic silly). I adored his character design, I thought his playing cards looked cool, and I'm a sucker for a villain. Now, "Hisoka" is Japanese for "secret." I chose another word that was close to that, which was sneaky. Hisoka dresses like a clown, so that's where the clown part came from (although, I will admit, I am a bit of a clown tbh).
Or, as my bio reads: I'm a clown and I'm sneaky
Not sure if any of my hxh mutuals/followers are still around given that I created this account close to five years ago now, but if you are, kudos to you for sticking with me through the countless hyperfixations I've had over the years.
I tag: @hyperfixed-owl @sircarebearalot @warblogs17282 @lost-romantique @loserschmoozer
Tag game🎉
Tag your moots and ask them where they got the idea for their tumblr accounts name!
For my name it was a nickname I was giving back in middleschool! One of our teacher had a system where we worked with 'wifi' eachtime we talked in class we lost a bar of the "wifi" (was a weird joke and we never held count on that) All the kids usually joked if they needed 'wifi' , they would borrow mine if they wanted to talk more. (I was incredibly shy in middle school, I only talked to like 3 people at school;^;)
They called me Ms. Wifi because of that. I just thought it would be funny if I put 'miss' instead of 'ms' because of my terrible actual wifi connection I have at home lol.
That's my story! Now moots, only if you guys want to, tell us your story.

Viktor Modern!AU uni headcanons
ohhh hes in my head i have so many thoughts i have so much to say about him. you guys just let me cook. ok. okay thanks. please reblog like whatever im new here LOL
warnings/key takeaways: mention of recreational drug use, freshman/sophomore year of uni, lots of studying, goofy meet cute, oblivious nerd viktor, both of you live on campus in dorms (same building), GENDER NEUTRAL (use of ‘you’, no specific pronouns)
HE SMOKES WEED
IDGAF HE SMOKES WEED
not like some crazy stuff. no. he smokes weed ti not feel PAIN. yeah you heard me. he smokes shit w high CBD content. doesn’t smoke it for the high, smokes it to feel better
think he would have it medically and everything
ohhh uni viktor would be the only fucker allowed to smoke in his dorm because if his leg got bad how could he go outside huh?? he didn’t share this news (of him being allowed to smoke indoors) but people knew since he’d have a window cracked open all the time. not fooling anyone
on this note i feel like he would only smoke if he absolutely needed to. yk how people go “i can quit anytime!” but never do? he’s the kind of guy to say that but MEAN IT. he just prefers his joints over painkillers because he finds they work faster
ok enough weed talk. he’s getting his masters in biomedical engineering. its obvious you guys ive seen this everywhere.
he wants to make people better prosthetics. he also got a degree in prosthetics and orthotics techs but it was only a 2 year so its ‘just a paper’ as he says
he studies hardcore. its surprising he even makes friends (sorry viktor) but he saw a lot of potential in jayce as a student from people watching. like in canon au :D!
on that note, biggest people watcher. its actually kind of how he got his friends. extroverts pick up introverts from introvert daycare (the corner of the room)
relationship headcanons
if you guys were to meet, it would be one of those silly meetcute things.
hear me out. you book a study room with your friends to study for exams, but none of them show. shame. one got sick, the other had to go home to see their parents or something. all in all, you were DITCHED by your homies
now. someone coordinating the rooms messed up. viktor had that room booked the SAME time you did! gasp! he just likes the space of the rooms to properly spread out his work.
anyway you were already in the room and he shows up. and just stands there. awkwardly. standing man emoji.
instead of apologizing, he STANDS HIS MFING GROUND. “i have this room booked for three hours.”
“thats crazy because ME TOO.”
you go back and forth, before you both realize the confirmation email you got was from the same person or whatever. who had booked the room for you two. not two separate rooms.
after viktor makes a small mumble of “of course”, you offer to let him stay anyway. and explain that you originally had friends going over but they dipped.
its exam season, you aren’t leaving and you aren’t gonna kick him out! thats so cruel!!!
at the end you end up exchanging numbers. and find out you’re in the same dormitory building!!!
he invites you to study with him in a study room next time, to ‘prevent the coordinator from messing up again’ — he just likes your presence
bing bang boom friends. occasionally one of you begins to break silence, asking silly questions about futures and families and holidays. conversation is limited, you are both locked in to studying most of the time
unfortunately YOU are the one to ask him out. viktor is literally just comfortable with your presence and too in his head to think you’d ever LIKE him romantically.
you take him to a museum. yeah. the local one had a free day for students. you’re also 100% chill with sitting whenever he looked uncomfortable. even if he denied needing rest, his face did that little scrunch thing and you just knew
after that you went to the uni again, to the dining hall. and he insisted on giving you a meal off of his meal plan. he said he ‘barely uses them all anyway,’ and forces you to take it. even if it kind of wasn’t allowed. he just lied to the clerk and said he was going to take it home.
very sweet if him, breaking RULES?
thats like the only rule he breaks for you
no, he won’t let you sleep in his dorm
no, he won’t sleep in YOUR dorm either
no, he won’t sneak out past curfew
(unless ur dying)
there was a time you texted him ‘help’ at midnight and he made his way all the way to your dorm very quietly.
turns out you had burnt popcorn. and it tasted horrible and you were honestly stressed to the point of tears. he thought you had gotten hurt. he proceeded to lecture you on appropriate texts to send at midnight past curfew. for like an hour.
glorious ovulation i need to smoke with him.

❝ switching bodies for you, d. starkey. ❞
ooo. 𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈… drew starkey & original black!female character
ooo. 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔… roleplay, praising, oral, penetrative sex, edging, squirting, unprotected sex, rough sex. anal, “good girl” praises.
ooo. 𝒔𝒚𝒏𝒐𝒑𝒔𝒊𝒔… she wants to try something different and her boyfriend is more than eager to comply.
ooo. 𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒓 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒔… had this idea and i wanted to see how it would come out. and i think i like it although i envisioned it completely different in my head but whatever lol. 😬 dk if this idea has been used before but wanted to try something a bit different!
she knows that it was a rather peculiar ask; part of her expected him to say no or for his response to be more taken aback by the absurdity of it all but she was pleasantly surprised when he nodded his head in agreement and replied with a concurring, “okay.”
they were at home laid on top of the mattress; drew was sprawled halfway on top of her — his body nudged between her legs with his cock protruding against the fabric of his jeans, swelling in its girth, messily staining his briefs with precum that leaked from his flushed head. their pelvises chafed and teased against each other’s in a slow and torturous grind. despite the barrier, she could feel the evidence of his arousal brushing against her cunt every time she moved her hips in accordance with his.
“wait.” she murmured, licking her swollen lips as she retracted from the kiss to look at him.
he looked debauched with his skin flushed in the prettiest rosy blush, lips slick from the salvia that passed between their mouths and eyes lidded with lust. he furrowed his brow, breathing laboredly through his parted lips. “what is it?”
she chewed hesitantly on her lower lip, suddenly feeling shy and chagrined as the suggestion circled her mind. it was silly and probably strange, but there was something that she’s been wanting to try with drew for a while now. she was reluctant on saying it because she didn’t know how to properly approach or explain it reasonably.
she worried about the possibility of him taking offense to it or that he would think that she wasn’t satisfied with their sex life (which was so far from the truth — she doesn’t think she’s ever been with anyone that can make her cum as much as drew does.) so, she temporarily dismissed the thought all together until her interest about it suddenly piqued again.
“this might sound a little weird…” she begins, looking up at him underneath the length of her lashes. the furrow in his brow deepens but he nods, prompting her to continue. “but i was thinking maybe we could try something a little different tonight.”
“okay. like what?”
“like you fucking me but roleplaying as rafe,” she says, watching as his confusion deepened. “i know it’s weird, but i’ve always kinda fantasized about him and how he would be in bed.” her face flushes in warmth at this confession, she never actually thought she would admit this out loud to anyone.
she loves drew for who he is; but there was also something undeniably sexy about him when he’s portraying rafe. she’s visited the set a few times and observed the subtleties of his transformation — seeing him go from her doting boyfriend to an irascible psychopath. she knows that he was just acting, but seeing him bloodied and bruised and depicting someone so completely antithetical to who he is — had stirred something inside of her.
and she’s suddenly embarrassed again with how silent drew is after she finishes talking and she’s parting her mouth open to tell him to just forget she ever said anything, when he looks at her and nods, “okay.”
she looks at him again, gauging his reaction just to see if there’s any underlying reluctance or apprehension, because the last thing she ever wanted was for him to do something he wasn’t comfortable with just for her sake. but there wasn’t any. he seemed genuinely intrigued by her request and this realization excites her.
he leaned down to brush a kiss against her throat before sliding up to meet her mouth again. “how did you fantasize him being in bed?”
she whimpered softly, feeling her cunt throb in anticipation. “i don’t know… just rougher than you usually get.”
he hums in acknowledgment, nudging his nose against hers as he kisses her deeply, taking her bottom lip within the grip of his teeth. he sucked and nipped diligently on the soft skin until it swelled. he released the bruised flesh, sliding the palm of his hand over her stomach. her breath catches in her throat, goosebumps erect over her skin as his fingers hovered over the waistband of her flimsy shorts.
“drew,” she keens, writhing in desperation for him to touch her.
he shakes his head, clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth making at tsk-ing sound in reprimand. “it’s rafe, remember?” he murmurs, his breath tickles her skin as he nipped and sucked dark love bites on her neck.
she exhaled shakily, already so overwhelmed with pleasure that she forgot about the prerequisites that he reinforced. she arches her body further in his touch, nodding her head curtly. “good girl.” he coos, brushing his lips over every inch of skin that his mouth could reach.
his fingers tug her shorts and slick stained underwear off, pulling them over her hips and down her thighs until they’re bunched up around her ankles. she discards them with an absentminded kick, flinging them somewhere onto the floor with a soft thud.
drew retracts from the kiss, a string of saliva falls from their lips as he pulls away. his eyes lower; taking in the sight of her weeping cunt. he groans softly, “fuck you smell so good,” he marvels, the sweet scent of her musk lingers in his nostrils and has his mouth salivating. he slides down her body, lowering and angling himself so that he’s seated directly at her center.
his fingers brush against her skin as he slides a hand over her calf, hefting her leg over his shoulder. he’s rewarded with the sight of her pussy that’s glistening with arousal along her slippery folds. drew parts his lips into a puckered “o” as he buries his face between the sweltering furrow of her thighs. she whimpers, high and loud when the bridge of his nose brushes against her clit — it was the barest of sensations but still enough to have her shivering and moaning in pleasure.
he hovers his lips over her clit; then gently started sucking it until she’s suctioned in his mouth. he sucks and releases the pressure rhythmically, pulling her clit in and out of his mouth in a teasing catch and release. he holds her there, using the tip of his tongue to massage her clit. “rafe!” she shudders, eyes rolling to the back of her head as she feels her toes curling from the pleasure.
he makes his way up her vulva and increases the pressure so that the base of his tongue is nudged slightly under her clit. he continued to move upwards, using his tongue to stimulate the bottom of her clit. then, in one smooth lap, he’s relaxing his tongue and licking her up. tears sting in her pupils and blur her vision, her hips arch off of the bed as she thrusts against his tongue and pushes his head in further so he’s nearly suffocated in her cunt.
she chokes on a sob, feeling her body tremble at the stimulation. he inserts a finger into the penetration; brushing through her wetness as he teased the sensitive flesh. she bellows a cry, as her body writhes against the mattress. “i’m close!” she forewarns to no avail as she squirts messily in his mouth. drew licks up the remnants of her arousal as he lifts his head from its perch.
his mouth is slick and red; a combination of saliva and her cum messily coat his swollen lips. she’s still lulling from her orgasm as he begins to undress himself. he shrugs out of his shirt and maneuvers out of his jeans and briefs, tossing them aside on the floor until he’s left naked in front of her. “can’t wait to be inside of you again. gonna fuck you so good, baby.”
his cock curls against his thigh; fully rigid and painstakingly throbbing. he hovers over her again, aligning the swelled tip of his cock at the center of her cunt. he barricades through her wetness, grinding against her so that her swollen lips are chafing against his bare cock.
“fuck. you’re so wet for me, baby.” he murmurs, feeling her cunt lapping repeatedly over his cock, leaving a residue of her arousal slicking him every time he withdraws. he rubbed the head against her swollen clitoris, through her labia, against her entrance, then slid her cunt against him from tip to base. she draws out a loud moan, her head falls back against the pillow as the friction coils and pulls in her lower abdomen.
her cunt gapes around his tip — still sensitive and swollen from her first orgasm. he watches in awe, mesmerized by the sight of her pussy lips and how they stretch and lap against him. “rafe, baby, please!” her fingers grip the bedsheets, teeth dig so deep into her lower lip that she could taste blood stinting from the bruise. “i need you now.” she sobs, though her hips still move in accordance to his movements, tracing over the ridges and teasing her entrance.
the lewd sounds of his cock slicked in her wetness has him groaning in pleasure; his thrusts go languid as he feels his own orgasm licking up his spine. “that feel good?” he firms a grip on his cock and nudges his tip against her swollen clitoris; feeling her clench wantonly around him. she nods vigorously. her body’s shaking, tears fall freely from her eyes as he holds her there — lingering and brushing against her clit until the pressure becomes too much and she has to push him away to catch her breath.
a bit of his own precum mixed in with hers, causing the fluids to spill out of her cunt and down her thighs, forming a wet puddle beneath her.
his cock twitches at the sight of her like this; debauched with her face moist with perspiration and tears, pussy engorged and leaking with both of their fluids, hair messily pooled around the pillows like a halo. she already looked so fucked when he hasn’t even been inside of her yet. drew leaned forward to kiss her, feeling the wisps of her breath tickle his skin. “okay?” he raises a brow, looking down at her.
she’s squirted before, but the pressure of these the last two were far more intense than any of the previous times. she nods, licking her lips as she feels her cunt throb; an undeniable tell that she was ready for more.
“good. turn around for me,” he avers, watching as she complied eagerly and turned around so she was lying prone. drew stands on his knees, settling himself behind her. “ass up, baby. that’s a good girl.” he slides a hand over her cheeks as she inclines her back in a sinuous arch and holds herself up with her palms pressed into the mattress.
he spreads his knees a bit further, making enough room so that he’s settled in between her for a precise intrusion. palming his cock in his hand, he angles himself at her hole and nudged his hips forward as he began to slowly delve in. there’s a delicious pain that spreads through her body at the intrusion. the pain subsides and is immediately replaced by pleasure, inciting drew to continue filling her of his cock inch by inch until he’s brimmed at the hilt.
she chokes on a gasp, feeling the stretch of his cock swelling in its girth inside of her. her body trembles at the sensitivity and she has to pop her ass back to catch the tip of drew’s cock curled just past her perineum.
his eyes lower to where he’s nudged inside of her; the sight of it alone is enough to make him cum. “rafe!” her whimpering plead retracts him from his reverie.
he digs his fingers into the meaty flesh of her hips as he held onto her. he rolled his hips in an upward thrust; brushing his pelvic bone against her ass as he lingered there for a moment. “oh!” she shivers, feeling her body trembling from his breach. he withdraws until he’s halfway slipped out of her, then he’s fucking back into her with a vigorous thrust of his hips that has her body lurching forward at the exertion.
she arches her back further; pressing her face into the mattress as she changes the angle a bit so that she feels every penetration of drew fucking her deep in her bones. her ass ricochets against him with every forward thrust that he gives, she convulses around his cock every time he fills her again, reclaiming him in a tight stretch.
drew grunts and groans, his hands squeeze every inch of skin that’s in his reach as he fucks into her, mewling at the noisiness of their sex. he presses his hand down on her back, anchoring her in place as he implements a slow, languid stroke. “rafe!” she cries, her voice muffled from where it’s pressed against the mattress. she undulates her hips, meeting him thrust-for-thrust.
she bit the comforter as drew pulled out the tip and slid back inside in a smooth thrust. she ground her teeth into the cotton and squeezed her eyes shut as she felt his cock continue to fuck unrelentingly into her.
drew’s hand slid up the back of her neck and grabbed a fistful of her hair, tugging her head back hard as he thrust with more vigor.
“uh-uh. i wanna hear your sounds. i wanna hear you scream for me. wanna hear how good i’m making you feel.”
“drew-” she inadvertently says, feeling him tug her hair at the blunder.
“who?” he didn’t release his grip on her hair or the position he was holding her head in, bent far enough so that her body arched against the bed. “yeah you like when i fuck you like this, don’t you?” she made a strangling noise, almost blacking out with the sudden movement when his dick touches the perfect spot inside her. her eyes rolled back as she tried to form the word, but all that came out was a whimper.
her body lurched forward with the force of drew’s thrusts, and she was completely lost to the pleasure as he fucked her with abandon. the headboard knocks against the wall, the mattress creaks in complaint beneath them. drew could feel her clenching and seizing as she approached her climax, and it had him ready to cum as well with the base of his cock tingling.
“rafe! right there… fuck… i’m gonna cum.” she cries.
“you take my cock like you were made for it. you gonna cum for me, pretty girl? come on. cum on my cock. let me feel it,” that was all it took for her to jump off the cliff of release with a loud cry, eyes rolling back into her head and jaw going slack as her whole body shuddered. “that’s it. you’re doing so good, baby.”
all it took was a few more thrusts before drew came with a guttural groan, thrusting into her tight hole. he ground against her, fingers digging into her hair and pulling tight as he stuffed her full of his cum.
she could feel drew’s cum filling her up and trickling down the insides of her thighs. she moaned in satisfaction, clenching around drew’s cock sporadically, milking him for everything he had. her breathing was harsh and labored as she tried to catch her breath from getting fucked into the mattress. her whole body was sensitive, and every tiny movement of drew moving above her made her whimper.
he leaned down and kissed her shoulder softly, nosing over her cheeks and neck. he pulled out slowly, trying to not hurt tiana, who whined as his cock slid against her sensitive walls. she collapsed onto the bed with a soft groan, her body sinking into the mattress.
her limbs felt lax, every muscle in her body was deliciously spent. she rolls over, looking at drew who looked equally as disheveled — skin flushed, eyes lidded, chest heaving. she smiled sheepishly, chest rising and falling as she tried to catch her breath.
“you okay? i wasn’t too rough was i, baby?” he asked, falling beside her as he felt his own body go wilt from the exertion.
she shakes her head reassuringly, “i won’t be able to walk for a few days, but i’m okay.”
he smirks, leaning over to peck a kiss against her shoulder. “good. so did rafe live up to your sexual fantasy?”
“mhm. he exceeded my expectations.” she says, biting on her lip as she scooted closer towards him. she maneuvers her body so that she’s seated astride of his lap, comfortable in her perch. “but now i’m ready for drew to fuck me again.” she whispers softly, reaching between their bodies and grabbing ahold of his cock that twitches at her insatiable libido.

I’m not quite done with this idea but i don't think i'm in a place to sit down and write a fic so i'll just word vomit here
First of all, my two fav side effects of this AU:
Not only does Edward not have the edge on Bella that he has on everyone, but she has that edge on him. He's forced to be vulnerable to her the same way everyone but her is forced to be with him. He's getting a taste of his own medicine in the worst way. (not that he's invading others' privacy on purpose most of the time, but it is what it is)
2a. Edward does a lot of romanticizing Bella, because he can. She's the one person onto whom he can project. It sounds nastier than it is-- that's how all relationships are to some degree, especially at first before you get to know the person. The difference is how much of a novelty this is for Edward. Finally, he can get to know someone at a normally pace, not privy to private events they don't mean to share. He goes a little overboard idealizing her because she's the first mystery he's had in a long ass time. Except now... Bella can catch him doing it.
2b. Bella's got the reverse now. She gets all Edward's dirty laundry from the jump. She meets him at his very worst... and she sees him rise above it, and how quickly he turns around.
Okay busting out my copy of Midnight Sun for this play-by-play of the first book:
Obviously a big plot change is Bella knows Edward is a vampire from day one. Even if she doesn't clue in from anything she hears from him in the cafeteria (she might not even fully realize what's happening in the cafeteria; maybe Bella's telepathy doesn't have as long a range as Edward's b/c she's human and also "borrowing" the gift), it's super obvious as soon as her scent hits him in Biology.
She's frozen in place from the shock of suddenly having telepathy + the revelation that vampires are real + Edward's a telepath (that can't hear her?) + the sheer violence in Edward's thoughts. She manages to gather her thoughts enough to consider running out of the room or even asking to be excused, but she doesn't trust her voice to not give away her terror, which would escalate the situation.
Class ends and Edward runs out and Bella decides very, very quickly that Edward Cullen cannot know that she can read his mind and knows about him being a vampire. Surely he would follow through on killing her if he knew. She's got to play it cool like none of this ever happened. She can't tell anyone, because he (and his vampire family?) would kill them too.
Some of Edward's thoughts in Biology involved following her home and eating her there so there'd be less casualties. She has no way of knowing that he ran away to Alaska. It's not even a comfort that he doesn't return to school; she spends the whole time he's away waiting for him to appear out of thin air and kill her. She sharpens a stick from her backyard into a stake which she keeps in her backpack because she has no way of knowing it couldn't work, and she doesn't want to feel totally helpless, even if it's a silly gesture. No harm in trying.
In this time she does get some flashes of Alice's visions during lunch now that Alice has turned her "eye" on her. She has no clue what to make of them. Her with red eyes?? Her smiling with Alice?? Her with Edward?? These cannot be coming from her own imagination what the fuck is going on, she must be losing her mind from everything that's been happening
Edward comes back to school and Bella's picking up snippets from him from across the room. he seems much less murder-y. but she's not ready to trust that after everything she heard that first day. It doesn't help that Edward is coming in with every intention of gaslighting her ("Why didn’t she look up? Probably she was frightened. I must be sure to leave her with a different impression this time. Make her think she’d been imagining things before.")
The thing about Bella trying to hide her telepathy, which becomes very apparent in Biology on Edward's first day back, is she's never had to do that before. It's very difficult. It doesn't help that Edward's internal monologue is trained on how helpless she isa nd how it hurts to breathe near her because she smells so tasty
Talking to Edward is just difficult I’m general bc vampires are canonically capable of having multiple trains of thought at once and we know Bella is frequently ~dazzled~ by his beauty so Edward quickly becomes very concerned for this poor girl she’s hanging on by a THREAD
And of course Bella hears this worry so she’s in a positive feedback loop of anxiety. RIP
anyway Bella doesn’t do a perfect job of hiding her fear and her newfound ability. She slips up juuuust enough that Edward is Suspicious. But she makes it through
The tipping point for Bella going from "terrified" to "oh this is a complicated creature" is the incident with Tyler's van. For a horrible moment, Bella's absorbed in Alice's vision of her getting squished. Then she hears Not her! in her head in Edward's voice, clear as day. And she hears all Edward's anxiety over the potential for exposure but also how he just really, really doesn't want her to die (even if it's confusing him). She laughs a little too hard at his "no blood, no foul" joke at the hospital because she's in on it now and she's too stressed to think better of it.
I think her mind also, like. Snaps. at this point. She's done worrying. He's gonna kill her or he's not. He can't even seem to decide, and she can't do anything about it anyway, she's just going to keep on keeping on and if she dies, well, at least the end of her life will have been the most interesting bit? And yeah she's a little bit of a freak and she's fascinated by this guy. What is his deal. She’s along for the ride now
Bella doesn't grill Edward for the truth of how he got over to her so fast but she does slip up and thank him for risking so much to save her and he's like wait. Does she mean risking his life with the van or risking exposure of him and his family? There's no way she could know about that??
Of course that day is the day Alice lets it slip to Edward that he's going to fall in love with Bella. Bella isn't present for that but the next month, Edward refuses to talk to Bella but she hears a constant stream of I do NOT have a crush on her, I AM going to kill Mike Newton, I am NOT falling for her, even if it'd be so easy to fall for her, I wonder what she's thinking right now, I will NOT destroy her future, my throat HURTS and honestly it's still freaky as hell to be privy to a vampire's mind but her mind's kinda. Snapped. by now. and she can't help but be a tiny bit amused. At least he's not fighting "the monster within" anymore? Is this some weird strategy to keep from killing her? Sure, fine, whatever, thanks
Bella catches snippets of memories of the family meeting about killing her too. Btw. Much 2 think about
When Edward finally asks her if she wants a ride to Seattle, she hears how genuinely nervous he is, and she knows, fucking knows exactly how dangerous he is, so she honestly shocks herself when she says yes. He hasn’t killed her yet, and he’s genuinely fascinating, at this point she’s Into him but also studying him like a bug
At lunch that day Bella hears in Edward’s head that he’s ditching because they’re blood typing. She can’t think of a good excuse to also ditch. Edward is extremely confused that she leaves for Biology like she’s about to walk into a war zone
Port Angeles happens much the same as in canon with Bella feigning ignorance and acting like she hasn’t known about Edward being a vampire from day one. It seems silly to admit she figured out the vampire thing but not mention the telepathy, but every time she opens her mouth to admit to the telepathy, she remembers the snippets of the family meeting about killing her and she chokes on her tongue. It’s one thing for a vampire to choose to confirm a human’s suspicions about the existence of vampires. It’s another entirely for a human to have direct access to a vampire’s mind and the whole coven’s secrets, right?
So now Bella’s stuck herself in a horrible situation where Edward’s trying to be honest with her and she’s lying to his face. Angst angst angst
Bella doesn’t realize that night that she’s in love with Edward.
Edward has a really conflicting image of Bella because on the one hand nothing ever seems to surprise her. On the other, she seems nervous every time she opens her mouth. The idea that she can read his mind is just so far-fetched it just doesn’t occur to him— even he couldn’t read thoughts as a human
Bella hears the Bug Calculations in the meadow. I just wanted to point that out. It’s hilarious
Bella finally breaks. I’m thinking Midnight Sun page 349, right after this exchange:
…but when she says “you know, the rest of us feel that way all the time” it’s absolutely stricken with guilt and nerves. He never gets a choice in telling her what he’s thinking. It’s finally being thrown in her face. She can’t keep this up anymore. This can’t go on— not without him knowing
So of course replace “I was wishing I could know what you’re thinking” with a horrible minute of absolute silence from Bella. Her heart rate spikes and she finally braces herself says “no, ‘the rest of us’ includes your family. They can’t read minds, either.”
Even with his vampiric supercomputer brain™ it takes a good 5 seconds for him to register that she’s responding to something he didn’t say out loud. He chokes out her name in a strangled cry. This is the quietest his mind has ever been to her. She broke him. Good lord did she trigger something is he going to kill her— no, he wouldn’t, but what if—
Bella immediately starts crying. Sorry, babygirl. Yeah she terrified. She thinks Here it comes. She starts babbling. She blurts out the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. “I’m not like you. Not really. I can only ‘hear’ you. And I don’t think my range is as far as yours, from what you’ve described. I’ve been afraid to tell you because I figured someone like you couldn’t let someone like me live with the knowledge I have now but because I was afraid to let you suspect I knew anything, I got to know you“ etc etc
Edward is still through all of it. Deathly (hah) still. Straight corpsin’. She’s now getting static from his brain— too many thoughts too fast for her human mind to pick anything comprehensible out.
Boy oh boy if Edward was struggling with the mortifying ordeal of being known before… he just found out the woman he’s in love with has been live-streaming his inner monologue every second they’ve been together. Noice 👌
He’s really, really angry. At Bella, for hiding this. At himself, for not seeing it sooner. At himself again, for every wicked thought he’s had in her presence (I know he’s prob not catholic but the catholic guilt is strong in this one). Every shared moment with her flashes before his eyes in reverse chronological order, leaving him off with the first day in Biology. Truly the most heinous thoughts he’s ever thunk, in his opinion, and she heard it all. “You’re here.” He says. “You know exactly how close I’ve come to killing you, over and over again… and you’re here.” It occurs to him that Bella could’ve been going along with his plans and pretending to be his friend for fear of her life, but she hears that train of thought and shuts it down: “Yes, I’m here. Because I want to be.” Edward winces because okay, yes, it does suck being on this side of the telepathy, confirmed.
Still, he tells her in short order, because he thinks it needs to be said: “You can leave right now. You can never talk to me again. I won’t come after you, and I’ll protect you from my family.” He silently prays that Alice loves Bella enough to not tell Rose or Jasper about this if she’s seen it, and then winces when he realizes Bella can probably hear that he’s not 100% certain he could protect her from his family.
She takes his hand. Gives him a really sad smile. “I’ll stay… if you’re sure you want me to.”
Edward starts choking/laughing/sobbing. Here’s this girl who’s seen him at pretty much his lowest, laughed her way through his feeble disguise, and somehow still accepts him.
Hearing this thought, something occurs to Bella: she loves him. Isn’t that what love is? Seeing someone’s worst, and taking their hand? Maybe she’s not in love with him yet, but… yeah, that’s some kind of love.
Now she’s looking at him like she loves him. Edward doesn’t dare believe that’s the expression she’s wearing, so her softened gaze and slight smile are driving him crazy: “Tell me what you’re thinking— I think I’m justified in asking, now” he’s still reeling so he’s gonna crack a joke, ok
“I meant it when I said you’re beautiful.” He can appreciate that more now— she knew how truly monstrous he was when she said that. He’s been dead wrong about her not understanding, or underestimating— she knows. It doesn’t really connect in his brain. So the word “Beautiful” sends him off on his canon tangent about being designed to kill (“aS iF yOu CoUlD oUtRuN mE”)— maybe an in-person demonstration will drill it into her that he’s too dangerous to want to be around
Instead of calling herself an idiot for still wanting to be around him, Bella argues that she’s aware of all that, but she’s also aware of the horrible pain he endures just to be around her, and all the control he’s shown so far.
Okay this is long enough already djdjxjxdjsjs TBC if there’s any demand for it
AU where Bella’s gift is not so much a shield as it is an Uno reverse card
Edward can read everyone’s mind but Bella’s as in canon, but now she can read Edward’s mind
Alice’s visions are blank where she’s concerned (like the werewolves in canon), but Bella can see visions of the future involving Alice, or has visions when she’s around Alice. Jasper’s gift is already kinda 2-way so he can still sense/manipulate her emotions, but she can do it back to him. She can hurt Jane, zap Kate, etc etc
Bella would have the weirdest fucking first day of school anyone has ever had, ever. There’s a voice in her head saying “yeah okay I guess she’s pretty but kind of plain and— wait why can’t I hear her” and then Biology is just. The worst hour of her life. but being Bella she’s just sitting there like
…while Edward plans the death of her and all her classmates right next to her
#hoa5#Uno reverse au#I have more outline and notes but I seriously doubt I will ever write an actual fic with this#that said if anyone DOES want to tackle it I’d happily beta/consult and possibly even co-write?#if you DO use this idea for anything all I ask is you let me know so I can read it 👀

A Misdemeanor Of The Heart: Chapter 33 (Human!Alastor x Married!Reader)
CW: Fingering, nudity, consent is sexy

“I want to make you feel good,” you whispered, eyes wide and tearful, daring from where he held your wrists, then to his crotch, hardly looking different from it had before and then up to his eyes.
“No,” he said again, “I don’t- You don’t need to do-”
You pulled your wrists from his hands, his grip slack enough to let you do so easily, though he could have kept you in place. Leaning back, you wrapped your arms around yourself, hiding your chest as you curled into yourself.
You had been being a silly girl again.
He didn’t want you like that.
“I’m sorry, I- I thought-” You shook your head, tears spilling from your eyes as you looked everywhere but at him. “It doesn’t matter.”
Your knees shook as you stood, looking for anything you could use to cover yourself instead of standing before him naked. Tears dripped down your face, leaving burning trails of shame on your cheeks. Angerly, you batted them away, not noticing Alastor standing until his hands rested on your forearms and then on either side of your face.
Thumbs caressed your cheeks as he looked into eyes that refused to meet his. “What’s wrong?” he said, “Talk to me. Why are you crying?”
“It’s-” you forced yourself to smile, a bitter laugh you had intended to sound sunny bubbled from your chest. “It’s nothing. I’m just being a silly-”
“Talk to me,” Alastor reiterated, smile nearly wiped from his lips. “I cannot fix it if you do not talk to me.”
“I- It’s silly, I’m just being-”
“I’ll be the judge of that, but if it has you in tears, I doubt it’s truly silly so, stop saying that.”
You braved looking at him, peeking at the warm brown eyes that held nothing but worry. His eyes begged you to trust him, to open up to him, to give him just a little more. “Why don’t you want me?”
The words were so soft that Alastor nearly didn’t hear them. For a moment, he stood there simply looking at you as the impact of what he had done, what it had made you believe, washed over him.
“I do, ma cherie,” Alastor said simply.
“You don’t.” You were nearly weeping again as you shook your head in his hands.
The buzz of the electricity in the lights and the ticking of the wall clock seemed deafeningly loud. The sound seemed to drown out the roar of your pulse in your ears. You hugged your arms around you tighter, trying to shrink away. It was silly to think he would want you in the way a man wants a woman.
“I do,” Alastor insisted, leaning down to be more on your level. “I wouldn’t touch you in these ways if I didn’t.”
It was a lie, he knew that, but it was a lie he felt alright telling. He’d touched many women he couldn’t care less about, simply to see to it he had the right kind of reputation as a man or to manipulate them, to get something from them.
The difference was he didn’t dread touching you. He wanted to touch you. He wanted to hear the sounds you made. It wasn’t the right time for him to examine why touching you wasn’t a chore, why he wanted to.
“Why don’t you want me to-” You didn’t know how to say it without sounding like a harlot. “You’ve felt every part of me and I- I haven’t felt you. You haven’t tried to- to take me.”
“That has nothing to do with-” Alastor’s thumb smoothed over the damp skin under your eye as he tried to calm you.
At some point, he made a mistake, and you were hurting for it. He hoped to protect you, to comfort you, yet you were in tears because he failed to read your needs well enough. He had been selfish, taking his entertainment in pleasing you without considering what he could have been saying with his actions… or lack of action.
“If you don’t want me, that’s fine.” You spoke over him, wet eyes darting to the floor.
“I do,” Alastor pulled your chin up, forcing you to look at him as he spoke. “But Cher, what I do isn’t about me. I’m after your pleasure. I want to see you pleased. I want to bring you pleasure you never thought possible.”
“What about you?” You pressed, “If you do, why don’t you what to be pleased? Why don’t I ever feel-”
“I don’t need to be,” Alastor pulled you into his arms, holding your naked body to his bare chest as he backed you both back to the couch. When he backed up against it, he let his legs fold, pulling you down with him. He sat with you in his lap, keeping your body close to his. You were mildly aware of the slick smeared around your pubic area and thighs, surely smearing into his trousers as he shifted you in his lap.
“What does that mean?” You wiped the tears away, “Can you not?”
“I can,” Alastor was quick to assure you before falling silent. Seconds that felt like hours ticked off, marked by the deafening sound of the clock.
“Then why?” You whispered, too scared to ask if you were not pleasing enough to his eyes. Perhaps there was something wrong with you. There had to be, though he was too kind to say it..
“I don’t…” Alastor paused, head falling back against the couch as he sighed, taking his glasses off and letting the wall across from the couch become fuzzy.
He wanted her; he knew that. He wanted her not as a friend. He wanted her as a wife. He wanted her as a partner. He wanted her as his everything, and so she deserved to know what she was getting by picking him.
“I’m not consumed with the need to seek pleasure,” Alastor settled for saying, eyes straight ahead. “I can. I’m perfectly capable of functioning but I just… don’t. The drive isn’t consuming. I don’t need it.”
“I don’t understand?” you whisper, scared that if you spoke anything closer to normal volume you would shatter this moment of vulnerability.
“I don’t need it. What I need is for you to feel good. Your pleasure consumes me. Seeing to your needs drives me. I am satisfied with that.”
“And that’s why I dont… don’t feel you?”
Alastor shrugged, “I avoid that, when I don’t…” He hesitated, looking for the right word, “need it. It’s distracting.”
Silence ticked on as both of you seemed to wait for the other shoe to drop. “You need my pleasure?” You asked finally.
“Like air to breathe,” Alastor said simply. “It consumes me. Burns through my thoughts. It’s shameful how it haunts me.”
“What if… What if I needed your pleasure?” you braved resting your hand on the center of his torso, feeling his warmth and the muscles bunched under.
“You’ve been doing just fine,” Alastor rested his hand on yours, running both up his chest as he wrapped his fingers around yours.
“Just because I- I am doing that, that thing you make me do, doesn’t mean I’m not wanting more. It feels unbalanced.”
“I don’t need anything,” Alastor kissed the palm of your hand, “All I need to balance it is know you’re pleased and satisfied, that I am giving you something he cannot.”
“What if I’m not?” You tried to will the tears from your eyes, but they still flowed down your cheeks anew. “What if I want more? What if part of me isn’t satisfied?”
“You don’t need to do anything for me.”
“But what if I do?” You turned, facing him better and resting both hands against his chest to brace yourself. “What if I need to please you so I can feel like- like I’m more than I am in this?”
“You wish to?” Alastor asked carefully. “Truly? Not because you feel you have to? Not because you think I’ll leave without it? Not because you’ve been made to believe your worth is based on it?”
“I want to,” you pressed. “I want to know what it’s like to- to do those things with a man who loves me, who cares… with a man I love.”
Alastor was quiet for a moment before pulling you to his chest, nestling you against him. Hot skin burned against you while you waited for what he would say, to see if he would reject you again. He took a slow, deep breath and let it out with a sigh. You waited with your eyes locked on the mark you had left on his neck, scared to push harder and yet terrified of what he would say.
“I want to,” you whispered, slowly running a hand down his chest. “If you’ll let me, if I can?”
Alastor hooked a finger under your chin, pulling you to look at him as he spoke. “The moment you do not want to anymore, you stop. I don’t care if I’ve not… reached completion. It’s for you. For your enjoyment. Do you understand me?”
You nodded but Alastor sat frozen still until you squeaked out a soft word of agreement. As soon as you did, Alastor leaned forward and captured yours in a sweet kiss. His hand ran down your back and you gasped into the kiss. He wasted no time slipping his tongue between your parted lips.
Timid fingers ran along the buckle of his belt as he leaned back, pulling you with him. His hands were so strong as they lifted you, pulling you softly until you were straddling his lap. The smooth fabric of his trowsers under your naked legs, core hovering over him as he tasted you, drinking up the small sighs you let out while his hands roamed your back, holding you.
Bright brown eyes looked back at your still wet eyes as you pulled back, feeling his hand slide down and cup the swell of your ass. Leaning forward, you tried to remember all the ways Alastor had turned you into a gasping mess as you kissed his jaw and down his neck.
Hot, open-mouthed kisses you hoped were not just a pale imitation of what he did. You gasped as his back arched a little, his eyes closed as his head fell back as your lips moved over the surely sore place you had bitten him.
There it was. You felt it. Just a twitch, but it was there as your teeth ghosted over his skin.
Alastor pulled you tighter against him as his hand reached down from behind, running between your legs. Fingers caressed your folds as you kissed his neck, tentatively running teeth over flesh. Growing bolder by the moment, you worked the belt buckle free as you softly bit his neck, just above where you had sunk your teeth in before.
“You don’t have to do that,” Alastor whispered above you.
“Do you not like that?” You whispered back, grasping midway through as his fingers plunged into you from behind, three wide and spreading your opening easily. You rocked back into his hand before you understood what you were doing, sinking his fingers deeper into you.
“I-” Alastor started before changing direction, “It’s not needed,”
“That’s not what I asked,” you whispered, grazing him with your teeth again as you felt the twitch of him.
“I just need a few moments to feel you enjoying yourself,” Alastor said as he worked his fingers in and out, long arms giving him the reach to do so while you were working your mouth on his neck.
Whatever his feelings on you biting him, you knew it got a reaction even if he wouldn’t talk about it. That’s alright, you decided as you moaned in his ear, his other hand caressing your clit from the front. In time, you would learn every way that Alastor liked to be touched.
“You’re so wet,” Alastor whispered, head leaned back and Adam’s apple bobbing. You couldn’t help but kiss it. “You’re dipping.”
Looking down your body and between your legs, you saw he was right. Shame burned through you for a moment, only to be quickly replaced by something else burning as you watched the long, clear glob of slick swaying from your opening. Alastor’s fingers continued working in and out of you as you watched the glob reach his pants.
You hadn’t realized the orgasm was sneaking up on you until it hit. Your arms gave out, and you had little chance but to ride it out, laying on his chest as your legs trembled and twitched, The weight of your body and the force of his hand working in and out of you was all that kept you on your knees though they spread wider, lowering you closer to him.
Your pubic mound grazed him as you twitched, rocking with his hand as waves of pleasure coursed through you. You gripped his trousers as if they would somehow ground you as you cried out against his neck.
There was another twitch, stronger, and something remained as you ground against him. It was happening. He was responding to you. That realization caused you to clench around his fingers, still working in and out of you with lewd squelching sounds as a second orgasm chased the first.
It was too much and god; you craved more. You felt like every part of you was breaking apart with the force of it as you felt him again, becoming firmer under you while you cried out his name. His focus on what he was doing was razor sharp, head to the side to give you room as you writhed in his lap.
Part of you wondered if he was trying to work you to the point of insanity so that you’d not have the energy to please him. Perhaps he was, but you could feel him now and that kept the fire inside you burning. You needed to have him, though you did not know what you were doing in practice.
It terrified you how much you wanted something that you knew caused pain. For him, with him, the pain would be worth it. You wanted to suffer through the pain if it made him feel even a fraction of how good he made you feel. It would be worth the pain.
And what if it didn’t have to hurt? What if being with a man as a woman didn’t have to be painful? What if the pain was something unique to your husband? What if he brought the pain knowingly?
Tears gathered in your eyes as you reached out for something to keep you from floating away. His hands working on your sensitive skin wouldn’t be able to keep you grounded. All you could think of was gripping him with your teeth as he worked you through the high, since your hand wrapped around his arm and the waistband of his pants wasn’t doing enough.
Your mouth opened as you gasped, head pulled back as he continued working his fingers into you. Your body ran from the sensations as you partially laid against his shoulder. The smell of him surrounded you, the soft skin of his neck brushed against your lips as you tried to catch your breath. And then, you acted without a thought, sinking your teeth into his neck, near where you had bitten earlier.
Alastor groaned at the feeling, hips bucking up into you before he caught himself. His hand gripped your hip to hold you steady as the twitch under you became something more solid, something that held promise, though you didn’t understand what of.
“There you go, dear.” Alastor whispered, his voice full of gravel as you let go of him with your teeth. “Are you pleased to have me awake for you? What are you going to do now?”
In truth, you didn’t know what to do next. You wanted him, but being with him was something you didn’t know how to do. He kept letting you lead. You were walking an uncharted path, and it terrified you not to be following his lead, to not have him telling you what to do.
“You’re in control,” Alastor said, grabbing your hand from the waistband of his pants. He guided your hand down between your bodies to where he was straining against his pants. Your slick was warm under your fingers as you wrapped them over his covered shaft. “There it is.”
“I’ve never,” you whispered, looking up at him. “I want to, but-”
“Do you want me to guide you?” He offered, throwing you a life raft.
“Please?” You whimpered, wanting to be so much more for him.
“Alright,” Alastor slipped his fingers from your still fluttering hole and leaned you back. “Unbutton my pants, then unzip them.”
You did as he asked, moving slowly and looking to him for reassurance as you pulled the opening wider. The trail of hair reaching to his naval was rooted far below his waistband, short and neat. With timid touches, you shifted his pants until he sprang free.
For all of your marriage, you had done your best to avoid looking at your husband’s manhood. It had caused and promised pain. It wasn’t something you had touched, but it had touched you plenty of times. The general shape and form of what men carried wasn’t something surprising to you.
Anxiety rolled in your stomach as you came face to face with Alastor, standing tall between your bodies. This would bring you pain. It would hurt you. You would endure the pain if it would please him, if you could return just a fraction of what he did for you.
Alastor was a tall man, though lean. You hadn’t known what to expect since he had been sizable while flaccid. Now that he was harder, he was larger there, too. His tool would have looked cartoonish on a smaller man, but right on him. It twitched under your gaze, as if responding to the way you examined it.
“Did you just wish to see it?” Alastor asked as he watched you.
“No, I-” Your face was so hot it felt like it could light a match.
“Let’s start together then, shall we?”
When you timidly nodded, he took your hand in his. You trusted him. Alastor would not hurt you any more than he must for you to give him the pleasure you wanted. He could guide you. You would suffer through whatever pain that would come, you would weather.
Alastor wrapped your hand around his manhood. Your hand was so small in his that he nearly covered it with his own. It wasn’t the hard steel that you had known to be rammed into you, but you didn’t brave asking why his skin felt so soft under your fingers. You had already pushed him for so much. If you asked anything more of him, it would surely be too much. It was better to not ask questions.
His hand guided yours in caressing the length of his shaft as he spoke. You could feel each vein as he ran your hand over his soft skin, toward the slight mushroom shaped tip. A drop of wetness smeared under your fingers as he guided them over the slit at his tip before he brought your hand back down his shaft. His grip tightened over your hand as he guided your hand on a slow journey up his length again.
“I’m sensitive here, but it’s not likely you’ll hurt me, at least not without trying.”
Each pass of your hand along his length had him twitching and becoming firmer in your hands. He watched, eyes trained on your face as he took his hand away. Reaching up, he caressed your face, urging you to loop up from your task.
He pulled you toward him as your hand worked timidly, but independently, along his length. There was a flush on his cheeks, ever so slight as his lips met yours. To kiss him more soundly, you had to raise up on knees planted on either side of his legs.
Each time your hand worked down his shaft, quickly turning to velvet covered steel in your hand, his tip brushed the inside of your thigh. The head of his cock and part of his shaft smeared in your spilled slick, leaving traces of the moisture gathering at his tip in the process.
It would be so easy to seat him inside you, you realized. You loved Alastor and because of that love, things like this felt good. That was what he had taught you, shown you. It had felt good to have his fingers inside you, to have his tongue inside you. It would surely feel good to have him inside you, too.
You hadn’t realized how close you had come to spearing yourself on him until his lips pulled from yours and his hands gripped your hips tightly, halting your slow sinking before the head of him could do anything more than brush against your lips.
“No,” Alastor’s voice was thick, naked of accent and full of gravel. “No.”
That one word caused you to flinch back from him, shock and fear crossing your face. You had misread. You hadn’t understood. You had thought-
“I’m sorry, I-”
Alastor shushed you with a kiss, leaning up but not letting his grip on your hips weaken. “It isn’t that I do not- that it isn’t something I want with you, if you wanted it. And you clearly do. You’re dripping on me even now.” Your face flushed as you realized he was right. You could feel your slick dripping onto his cock and your hand around it.
“I’m so-”
Alastor cut off your reflexive apology. “It’s not a bad thing. It means you want me. But Cher- I can’t. We can’t. We can do anything and everything but that.”
“Why not?” You struggled to not whine and to hide the hurt from your voice as it felt like a vice was gripping your heart in your chest, threatening to crush it.
“I’ll not have intercourse with you while you’re still married to him. I can’t- I won’t risk my seed taking root and him acting as father to my child.”
“Then we’ll never-”
“Not while you’re married,” Alastor leaned up, kissing you hard as he guided you to sit on his thighs. His cock stood tall and imposing between you, still held in your hand. “What else would you like to do? How else would you like to give me pleasure?”
You were not sure what to say or do. “What do you like?”
“I like whatever you’ll enjoy doing. I am yours to explore, to learn what you like to do with.”
“You had- you used your mouth on.. on me, before.” You whispered, too timid to meet his eyes. “Is there something like that for me to do to you?”
Alastor was silent for a moment before speaking, “If you’d like. Not all find the act enjoyable to perform. Men and women both can use their hands to bring themselves and eachother to completion. And their mouths on eachother to do the same.”
“I want to,” you decided, not sparing a second to think of the logistics of what you were asking to do. All you were focused on was the fact that Alastor had used his mouth on you, bringing you to the height of pleasure that you were only just beginning to learn existed. If he could do that for you, knowing surely what bodily functions happened in that region, surely you could do the same for him.

& it was all yellow (strangers to lovers)
summary: yellow was never beomgyu’s favorite color—until you came along with your ridiculously bright yellow headphones that somehow made you look even cuter. he saw you on the bus once, just minding your business, and that was it—game over for him. suddenly, yellow wasn’t just a color; it was you. the only problem? beomgyu (yes, the choi beomgyu, who seems cool and confident to everyone else) turns into a shy, blushing mess whenever you’re around. now he’s sitting there, heart racing, trying to come up with any excuse to talk to you—without making a complete fool of himself. except he does.
genre: fluff!!! super mega fluff. no angst. none at all. i promise!
characters: beomgyu x f!reader
words: 11.9k
warnings: cursing? i think
a/n: im such a beomgyu simp. i just have so much ideas for this man...and legend has it hes not even my bias.........................
Beomgyu liked to think of himself as two different people.
There was Group Beomgyu—the one his friends knew. Loud, quick-witted, always cracking jokes that left everyone in stitches. He was the guy who could light up a room without even trying. The one who dared his friends to do the ridiculous, like singing karaoke in public or sneaking fries into a movie theater.
But then, there was Solo Beomgyu.
That version of him emerged the moment he was alone. Quiet. Thoughtful. A little unsure of himself. Solo Beomgyu found solace in the mundane—watching raindrops race down bus windows, people-watching from his favorite spot at the back of the bus, and trying to guess the life stories of strangers in passing.
The bus ride to campus was his favorite part of the day. It was his escape, his time to recharge before stepping into the chaos of college life. And lately, it had become even more interesting—because of you.
It was silly, really. The first time he noticed you, he thought you looked cute as you climbed onto the bus in a skirt and baby tee. Your hair was tied back in a low ponytail, and you wore a pair of headphones that were impossible to miss. Those headphones—bright, sunny yellow—were probably the most damning thing about you.
How could someone so effortlessly capture his attention with something as simple as a pop of color? Yet there you were, sitting a few seats away, bobbing your head to the music only you could hear, completely oblivious to the way you’d become the highlight of his mornings.
Life had a funny way of showing irony. Just the day before, after spending hours gaming with his buddies, Beomgyu had sighed into his pillow, the weight of routine pressing down on him. It wasn’t that he hated his life—far from it. He was content, in a way. But somewhere deep down, he felt like his world had lost its color.
Nothing excited him anymore. Life had become an endless loop: wake up, take the bus to campus, study, head home, game with his friends, sleep, and repeat. Sure, there were the occasional party invitations, and he didn’t mind attending one here and there. But even those didn’t light a spark in him. They were fun, sure, but not really his scene.
It was strange to think how much his days blended together—until recently. Because now, as silly as it sounded, one part of his routine had started to stand out.
You.
Or, more specifically, your bright yellow headphones. They’d added a splash of color to his otherwise grayscale world. Something about how unapologetically vibrant they were made you seem larger than life, even as you quietly kept to yourself. It wasn’t just the headphones—it was you. The way you looked so at ease in your own little bubble, head bobbing to music only you could hear.
It was ridiculous to feel this drawn to someone he’d never even spoken to. But then again, maybe those yellow headphones weren’t just a splash of color. Maybe they were the first brushstroke of something entirely new.
It had been weeks since he’d first noticed you. By now, he’d already memorized your bus schedule—not because he was a stalker or anything, but simply because you seemed to follow the same routine as him. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, like clockwork, you’d board the bus at the same stop, settle into your usual seat, and disappear into your world of music.
The two of you always got off at the same stop, though you’d inevitably drift in separate directions. He’d head toward the business building, his heavy bag slung over one shoulder, while you veered off toward the art center. That alone made him think you were an arts student. It fit, somehow. There was something creative about the way you carried yourself—effortless, like you were painting a masterpiece just by walking through the world.
And even though he didn’t know your name or anything about you beyond these small details, you’d already become a fixture in his mind.
–
“You should talk to her,” Soobin mumbled, biting off a chunk of his chocolate bar and waving it lazily in the air as if the solution were that simple.
“And say what?” Beomgyu shot back, slumping further into the worn couch in their shared dorm.
“I don’t know... things?” Soobin shrugged, barely looking up from the phone in his other hand.
Beomgyu rolled his eyes, running a hand through his already-messy hair. “You’re useless.”
Soobin smirked. “Says the guy who’s spent weeks staring at her like a weirdo.”
Beomgyu groaned, throwing his head back dramatically. “It’s not that easy, okay? What if she’s not interested? What if I mess it up? What if—”
“What if she’s waiting for you to say something?” Soobin interrupted, his tone suddenly a little softer. “Look, all I’m saying is, you’re not gonna get anywhere just memorizing her bus schedule and hoping she notices you exist.”
Beomgyu scoffed but couldn’t deny the sting of truth in his friend’s words. He’d spent so much time admiring you from afar, inventing scenarios in his head, but none of them ever involved him actually... acting on it.
“Fine,” he muttered, more to himself than to Soobin. “I’ll talk to her.”
Soobin raised an eyebrow. “Really?”
“Yeah, really.” Beomgyu straightened up, determination flickering in his eyes. “Next time I see her, I’ll... I’ll figure something out.”
Soobin grinned, leaning back in his chair. “Can’t wait to hear about how that goes.”
Beomgyu shot him a glare but couldn’t help the tiny smile tugging at his lips.
–
And just like that, he’d convinced himself he was ready to approach you. Except he wasn’t. Days had passed, and despite his mental pep talks and rehearsed lines, he couldn’t bring himself to even say hi.
Like he said, “solo Beomgyu” was a whole different type of Beomgyu.
In front of his friends, he could crack jokes and steal the spotlight without breaking a sweat. But in front of you? He became a nervous wreck, fumbling over words in his head that never even made it out.
Well, that was until one fateful morning.
The city had woken up to chaos. Roads were closed in multiple areas because of some big event Beomgyu didn’t bother to look up—probably a marathon or a parade or something equally annoying to his morning routine. Either way, it was causing a major disruption, and Beomgyu was not thrilled.
He stood at the bus stop, waiting impatiently as three consecutive buses rolled by, each one packed to the brim. It felt like an eternity. He rolled his eyes and groaned inwardly, adjusting the strap of his bag on his shoulder.
Great.
The crowd at the stop grew thicker, and Beomgyu found himself shifting uncomfortably between clusters of impatient commuters. He hated waiting. Hated the feeling of wasting time when he could’ve been doing literally anything else.
And then he saw you.
You stood a little further down the pavement, your yellow headphones perched snugly over your ears, your gaze focused somewhere distant. You didn’t seem nearly as bothered by the chaos around you, which only added to the list of things Beomgyu found unfairly fascinating about you.
For a moment, he debated whether to move closer, maybe strike up a conversation while you both waited. But before he could make up his mind, the next bus pulled up.
This one wasn’t quite as crowded, though still far from comfortable. Beomgyu squeezed on, finding himself pushed toward the back, when suddenly, a voice interrupted his silent grumbling.
“Excuse me.”
It was soft but clear enough to make him glance over—and there you were, maneuvering through the aisle, your bag held close to your side as you tried to find a spot to stand. Beomgyu froze.
You were right there.
Fate, coincidence, bad luck—whatever it was, it had dropped you within arm’s reach. Beomgyu’s heart hammered in his chest as he tried to decide what to do. Say something? Smile? Pretend he didn’t notice you and stare out the window like his life didn’t hinge on this moment?
The bus jolted suddenly, and you stumbled, grabbing onto the nearest pole to steady yourself. Unfortunately—or fortunately, depending on how you looked at it—that pole was the same one Beomgyu was holding onto.
Your hand brushed his, just briefly, but it was enough to send his brain into overdrive.
“Sorry,” you said softly, glancing up at him with an apologetic smile before returning your focus to the window.
Beomgyu blinked, his heart still racing. He opened his mouth, words teetering on the edge of spilling out, but all he managed was a faint, “It’s okay.”
You didn’t hear him. Or if you did, you didn’t acknowledge it. And just like that, the moment passed, leaving Beomgyu kicking himself internally.
But as the bus rolled on, he found a tiny flicker of hope. Sure, he hadn’t said much, but you’d spoken to him first. That had to mean something, right?
20 minutes. The bus ride was 20 minutes, and the two of you were right next to each other. Beomgyu felt his palms sweating, his heart pounding in his chest.
God, she’s right beside me. He felt himself gulp, glancing over at you from the corner of his eye.
He’d never been so grateful for being almost a head and a half taller than you. It meant you couldn’t see the small, nervous glances he kept stealing in your direction.
The bus was growing more crowded by the minute. It was starting to get a little uncomfortable. You could feel yourself being pushed into Beomgyu, the pressure increasing with every jolt the bus took. His arms were propped up, gripping the taller handles above him, while you fumbled around, trying to find anything to hold onto. First, you grabbed the pole, then the handles near the seats, but as the bus rocked, you found yourself with nothing to stabilize you.
Beomgyu noticed. His heart skipped a beat. Without thinking, he reached behind you, his hand hovering near your backpack, fingers brushing against the fabric, just trying to hold you steady. He hoped you didn’t notice.
But the bus was moving like a rollercoaster. The driver swerved around a corner, and suddenly, the entire vehicle felt like it was on the edge of tipping. A pothole hit with a thud, and the jolt sent you stumbling.
You flailed for balance, but there was nothing left to grab. Before you knew it, you were teetering dangerously, feeling yourself lose your footing.
In an instant, Beomgyu’s hand shot forward. His fingers found your shoulders, steadying you before you could fall. The warmth of his hands against you was unexpected, sending a flutter through your chest.
You looked up at him, your eyes wide with surprise.
“Thank you,” you said breathlessly, your voice soft but clear, your heart still racing from the near-miss.
Beomgyu froze for a second, the sound of your voice like music to his ears. He felt the flush creep up his neck but tried to hide it with a casual, “No problem.” His grip lingered for just a moment longer than necessary, though neither of you seemed to mind.
The bus swayed again, and for a second, everything felt oddly... comfortable. Beomgyu could hear his heart thumping in his chest, but this time it was because of you—not the chaos of the ride.
—
The next day, the roads had finally cleared up. Beomgyu silently thanked every living being for that, especially since he had been about 30 minutes late for his class the previous day, missing out on a lecture he’d already been struggling with.
As he waited for the bus, his eyes automatically scanned the street, and there you were—your familiar yellow headphones bouncing as you made your way toward the bus stop.
You looked up, catching his eye from a few feet away, and offered him a smile.
“Hello,” you said, your voice light and friendly.
Beomgyu’s heart skipped a beat, and for a split second, he forgot how to breathe. “H-Hello,” he managed to croak out, cringing inwardly. Idiot.
You didn’t seem to mind, though. You gave him another smile, and it felt like the whole world slowed down for a second.
The bus soon arrived, and the two of you got on. Beomgyu’s eyes scanned the seats, and to his horror, all the empty ones were... right next to each other.
He froze. Great. Of course. Of all the seats.
Reluctantly, he made his way toward the row where you had already started to sit, mentally preparing himself for a potentially awkward ride. As he approached, you glanced up at him, your expression brightening.
“Is this seat taken?” he asked, already knowing the answer.
You shook your head. “It’s a free country.”
Beomgyu hesitated for a moment longer than necessary before sitting down beside you.
The bus jolted forward, and he instinctively reached for the pole above them, his fingers gripping it a little too tightly. Why am I so nervous? He couldn’t understand it.
Meanwhile, you settled into the seat, adjusting your backpack and glancing out the window. For a moment, it felt like the most natural thing in the world—sitting beside someone you’d barely spoken to but already felt strangely connected with.
Beomgyu had no idea how to break the silence. But then, as if on cue, you turned to him.
“So… how’s your day going so far?”
It was a simple question, but the way you asked it made his heart race all over again. He managed to smile, albeit awkwardly.
“Uh, good, I guess. The roads are less crazy today.”
You laughed, and it felt like the weight in his chest lightened a little. “Yeah, I noticed. It was a mess yesterday.”
He nodded, relieved that the conversation hadn’t turned into an awkward silence.
“So… you’re heading to the art center again?” he asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.
You nodded, your smile softening. “Yeah. I’m always there on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.”
“Oh.” He pretended like he hadn’t known this little detail about you.
Beomgyu found himself relaxing a little more with each passing second. Maybe this wasn’t so bad after all. The awkwardness was still there, but it felt like a stepping stone—like the beginning of something that could finally get easier.
The bus continued to roll along, Beomgyu stole a quick glance at you, his heart fluttering as you hummed softly to the music in your headphones. For once, the awkwardness didn’t feel so unbearable.
The next few minutes passed in relative silence, with only the occasional rattle of the bus as it made its way through the streets. Beomgyu found himself struggling to think of anything to say. He could hear the faint melody of your music through the air, but there was no other conversation to fill the space. He tapped his fingers nervously against his thigh, stealing glances at you, trying to figure out how to start another topic.
His mind raced with all the things he could say, but none of them seemed good enough. This is so awkward, he thought, almost groaning internally. Why is this so hard?
His eyes landed on his phone. The distraction was tempting. He pulled it out and quickly opened Spotify, deciding that he could at least use the music to mask the silence between the two of you. Beomgyu scrolled through his playlists, searching for something that felt right for the moment.
The bus jerked again, and Beomgyu adjusted his seat, tapping on a song and turning the volume up, only to suddenly realize—Wait, I haven’t connected my AirPods.
Flustered, he fumbled with his phone, tapping at the Bluetooth settings and then back to the app, his face warming with embarrassment. Idiot.
But as the awkwardness hit its peak, you turned to him with a soft smile. “I like that song,” you said, your voice calm and easy, as if nothing was out of the ordinary. “It really suits you.”
Beomgyu blinked in surprise, his nerves a little shaken by the unexpected compliment. He looked at you, his heart racing again. “It suits me?” he repeated, voice a little higher than he intended.
You shrugged lightly, a mischievous twinkle in your eyes. “Yeah, it’s got a kind of... laid-back vibe. Kind of like you, I guess?”
Beomgyu’s face flushed, not sure whether to laugh or be more self-conscious. He adjusted his AirPods in a hurry, trying to make himself look less flustered than he felt.
“Thanks,” he said, a small grin tugging at his lips. “I mean, it’s just a playlist... but yeah. It’s one of my favorites.”
You smiled back, then looked out the window again, but Beomgyu couldn’t help but notice how much more comfortable the moment felt now. The weight of silence didn’t seem so heavy anymore.
He tapped play on the song again, this time making sure the music was coming through his AirPods. The familiar melody filled his ears, and for once, the awkwardness didn’t feel so unbearable. Instead, it was like a subtle connection was forming, one little step at a time.
"And how would you know if I'm laid-back?" Beomgyu asked shyly, his voice barely above a whisper. He couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious, but the curiosity in your eyes made him feel like he could ask the question without it sounding too awkward.
You chuckled softly, turning to face him for a moment. "I don't know," you shrugged, smiling. "Just a guess? Call it a woman's intuition."
Beomgyu blinked, not quite sure what to say. “Woman's intuition?” he repeated, a little taken aback.
You grinned, a playful glint in your eyes. “I don’t know, maybe I just get a sense of things.” You hesitated for a second, then added, “But I could be wrong. I mean, I don’t really know you.”
He wasn’t sure if that was a good or bad thing. But at least, for now, you didn’t seem to mind.
"I-I guess I do try not to let things bother me too much," he mumbled, still trying to figure out what to do with his hands. "Though, I wouldn't say I'm always that chill. I have my... moments." He let out a nervous laugh, hoping you wouldn't think he was some kind of mess.
You smiled, your eyes crinkling at the corners. "Everyone does."
Beomgyu blinked, surprised by how comforting your words were. For a moment, it felt like the world had slowed down again, and it was just the two of you, exchanging these small moments of understanding.
"True," Beomgyu said softly, his smile growing a little more genuine. "I guess I'm just not great at dealing with, you know, awkward moments."
You looked at him curiously. "Awkward moments, huh?"
Beomgyu nodded, his ears turning a little red. "Yeah... like this one." He gestured vaguely between the two of them, the words spilling out before he could stop them. "I mean, I don't usually... I don't know, talk to people like this."
Your smile softened. "You seem like you’re doing just fine to me."
His heart swelled a little at that. "Really?"
"Yeah," you replied, your tone sincere. "You’re doing great."
Beomgyu’s face lit up with a smile he couldn’t contain. "Thanks," he said, feeling a little less nervous than he had before. "That means a lot, actually."
For a moment, the two of you sat in comfortable silence, the sound of the bus’s tires on the road and the faint music in his ears the only background noise. Beomgyu felt a strange sense of peace settle in his chest. Maybe this wasn’t so hard after all.
He glanced over at you, catching you humming softly along to the music, and realized that, somehow, this was one of the most comfortable conversations he’d ever had.
"Hey," Beomgyu said after a beat, his curiosity getting the best of him. "What about you? What’s your favorite type of music?"
You turned to him with a thoughtful look, clearly enjoying the question. "I guess I’m all about the acoustic stuff mostly."
"Acoustic, huh?" Beomgyu said with a smile, intrigued. "I can see that. Seems like something you’d like."
You smiled, the sound of your laughter filling the space between you. "You got that from…?”
“Call it an idiot’s intuition.” He chuckled.
You laughed, “What about you?"
Beomgyu chuckled, trying to hide the grin that spread across his face. "I’m pretty into all kinds of stuff, but right now? Definitely some chill pop. Y’know, maybe I’m starting to agree with you on the whole laid-back thing."
You raised an eyebrow, playfully teasing him. "So, you admit it?"
Beomgyu shrugged, leaning back a little, feeling a little more confident with each word. "Yeah. I guess I do."
And in that moment, Beomgyu finally realized that maybe, just maybe, the things he’d been too nervous to do or say weren’t as difficult as he’d once thought.
—
Beomgyu slumped back into his bus seat, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "Idiot," he muttered under his breath. After weeks of stealing glances and summoning every ounce of courage he had, today had finally been the day he talked to you. Well, kind of. It was small talk—weather, classes, and music. But it was progress.
And yet, in his nervousness, he’d forgotten the most important thing. He hadn’t asked for your name or your number. He groaned inwardly, glancing out the window as the bus trundled down the familiar route. It was Thursday, which meant he wouldn’t see you again until Monday. Four whole days.
“Great,” he muttered, slumping further into his seat. “Four days to kick myself for being an idiot.”
Monday arrived far too slowly, and Beomgyu was oddly fidgety, his leg bouncing as he stared at the bus stop from his seat. The bus slowed to a stop, and his heart leapt in anticipation—only to sink when you weren’t there.
He glanced out the window, confused. Maybe you were running late. Or you’d taken an earlier bus? He brushed it off, convincing himself you’d show up tomorrow.
But then Tuesday came. And Wednesday. And still, there was no sign of you.
Beomgyu found himself staring at the seat you always sat in, empty and glaringly obvious. He hated how it bothered him so much. He barely knew you—he didn’t even know your name—and yet he felt like something was missing. Like the bus rides were quieter without the possibility of you being there.
By Thursday, disappointment had settled heavily in his chest. He sat near the back, earphones in but barely paying attention to the music. The world outside the window blurred past, but his thoughts were stuck on you.
Where were you?
—
It had been approximately two weeks since Beomgyu had last seen you. You had vanished like the wind, leaving him frustrated and more restless than he wanted to admit. Every day since, he’d made excuses to linger outside the art center, hoping for some sign of you. Desperation had even driven him to approach the center’s custodian, awkwardly asking if he’d seen anyone with bright yellow headphones.
“Yellow headphones?” a voice behind him piped up, catching Beomgyu off guard. “You mean this girl, right?”
Beomgyu turned to find a tall, sharp-featured guy holding out his phone, displaying a picture of you.
Immediately, Beomgyu’s stomach twisted. He took in the guy’s confident smile, the casual air about him, and the way he spoke about you like he knew you well—too well. He didn’t like it one bit.
“Yeah, that’s her,” Beomgyu said, his voice measured. “Who are you?”
“I’m Yeonjun,” the guy said, sliding his phone back into his pocket. He extended a hand, but Beomgyu hesitated for a second before shaking it. “I’m her friend.”
Friend? Beomgyu’s eyes narrowed slightly. Yeonjun was a little too good-looking to just be a friend, wasn’t he?
“So, uh…” Beomgyu cleared his throat, trying to hide the slight edge in his voice. “Do you know where she’s been?”
Yeonjun’s expression softened, a flicker of concern crossing his face. “Yeah. Something happened a couple of weeks ago. She’s been taking some time off to deal with it. But she should be back next week.”
Beomgyu felt a wave of relief wash over him—until Yeonjun added, “She’s been doing okay, though. We’ve been texting, and I’ve checked in on her a couple of times. You know, just to make sure she’s alright.”
Beomgyu’s jaw tightened. Texting? Checking in? Was that really necessary for a “friend”? He tried to keep his expression neutral, but a pang of jealousy flared in his chest.
“Right,” Beomgyu said, forcing a small smile. “That’s good. It’s good she has…people checking in on her.”
Yeonjun tilted his head, studying Beomgyu for a moment. “Who are you, anyway?” he asked casually. “Do you…know her?”
Beomgyu froze for a split second, the question catching him off guard. He shrugged quickly, trying to play it off. “Not really. We just…take the same bus sometimes.”
“Oh,” Yeonjun said, his lips quirking up into a small, knowing smile. “I see. So you’re, what? A bus friend?”
“Something like that,” Beomgyu mumbled, suddenly feeling like an idiot. He wished he’d thought of something cooler to say, but it was too late now.
“Well,” Yeonjun said with a grin, “that’s cute. But yeah, don’t worry—she’ll be back soon. And maybe I’ll see you around too, man.”
“Yeah. See you,” Beomgyu replied, watching as Yeonjun walked away.
As soon as Yeonjun was out of sight, Beomgyu exhaled sharply, running a hand through his hair. He felt ridiculous. He didn’t even know your name, and yet here he was, stewing over some guy who probably wasn’t even competition.
Still, as he walked back toward the bus stop, the thought lingered: What if Yeonjun wasn’t just a friend?
—
And Yeonjun was right. You were back the following week, except you were dressed in the darkest colors Beomgyu had ever seen you wear. Your expression matched your clothing—cloudy, somber, and weighed down by something unseen. Strangely, he found it almost endearing that you seemed to dress the way you felt.
Still, it made him worry. Not that he had any right to, given that you two weren’t exactly close. But the thought lingered: What could’ve happened to make her look this upset?
When he finally gathered the courage to take the seat beside you on the bus, you didn’t even glance at him. You were completely absorbed in your thoughts, your body language practically screaming, Leave me alone.
“Life sucks, doesn’t it?” Your voice cut through his thoughts suddenly.
“Huh?” he asked, blinking in surprise.
You didn’t look at him, your gaze fixed out the window. “It sucks, doesn’t it?”
He hesitated for a moment before nodding. “It can suck,” he admitted. “But it can also be really great.”
You turned your head slightly, finally acknowledging him with a raised brow. “Oh, yeah? How’s it ‘really great,’ exactly?”
“Well,” he started, leaning back in his seat, “it’s great because… it’s unpredictable. You never know when something good might happen. Even when everything feels like it’s falling apart, sometimes the universe throws you a surprise. Like…” He paused, glancing at you meaningfully, “…sitting next to someone who’s too cute to be upset.”
The corners of your lips twitched, the faintest hint of a smile breaking through. “That’s cheesy,” you said, but there was no hiding the slight blush creeping onto your cheeks.
“Cheesy, sure, but also a fact ,” he replied with a grin. “See? You’re smiling already..”
You shook your head, laughing softly before falling quiet again. After a beat of silence, you sighed. “I’m not usually like this. I don’t like moping around. It’s just…”
Beomgyu tilted his head, waiting patiently for you to continue.
“…My parents decided to sell our old childhood home,” you admitted, your voice soft and tinged with sadness. “I had to go back and clear out all my things. It’s stupid. A first-world problem if you must, but I didn’t think it’d hit me this hard.”
He studied you for a moment, his gaze warm and understanding. “It’s not stupid,” he said gently. “It’s your childhood. It’s where you grew up, made memories, and felt safe. It’s okay to be upset about losing something that meant so much to you.”
You looked at him, your expression conflicted. “I guess. It’s just… I feel so silly. Like, there are bigger problems in the world, and here I am crying over a house.”
“It’s not just a house, though, is it?” he countered, his tone firm but kind. “It’s a piece of you. And no one gets to tell you how to feel about it, not even yourself. Your feelings are valid—every single one of them.”
Your lips parted slightly, taken aback by his sincerity. For the first time in days, you felt a weight lift off your chest.
“Thanks,” you said softly, offering him a small, genuine smile. “I didn’t realize I needed to hear that.”
“That’s what I’m here for,” he said with a wink, making you laugh despite yourself.
As the bus rolled to a stop near campus, you glanced at him and hesitated for a moment. “Hey, Beomgyu?”
“Yeah?”
“Maybe life doesn’t suck that much after all,” you said, your smile widening just a little before you stood up and stepped off the bus.
He stayed seated, watching you walk away, and couldn’t help but grin to himself. Maybe life didn’t suck that much, indeed.
Then it hit him.
How’d you know his name?
—
It had become second nature to save each other a seat on the bus. Whether it was an unspoken agreement or just something you both fell into, neither of you questioned it. For the next two weeks, your mornings began with a quiet understanding. You’d sit side by side, talking about the most mundane things—complaints about the weather, funny things you’d overheard, or random thoughts that popped into your heads.
Still, you hadn’t exchanged names, let alone numbers. It was almost absurd at this point, how you knew snippets of each other’s lives but not the most basic details. Except you did know his name—and Beomgyu was still wondering how.
Beomgyu found it funny too. But he didn’t mind. He liked your conversations, no matter how random they were.
Then one day, Beomgyu didn’t show up.
You found yourself glancing down the street more than once, your brows furrowed as you searched for any sign of his figure walking toward the stop. The bus pulled up, and you hesitated, standing on your toes to peer down the block one last time before climbing aboard.
You took your usual seat by the window, feeling a small pang of disappointment. The bus rolled forward, the rain outside picking up again and blurring the city beyond the glass. You stared at the streaks of water running down the pane, wondering where he could be.
That was when the bus jerked to a sudden stop.
You glanced toward the front, curious, only to see someone hopping up the stairs, drenched from head to toe. It took you half a second to recognize him, but when you did, you couldn’t stop the laugh that bubbled out of you.
Beomgyu stood there, panting slightly, his hair plastered to his forehead and water dripping from his jacket. His sneakers squeaked against the floor as he caught his breath.
“You made it,” you said, grinning as he shuffled over to your seat.
“Yeah,” he replied between breaths, dropping into the seat beside you with a sheepish smile. “Barely.”
“Did you seriously chase the bus?” you asked, trying not to laugh too hard.
“Well…” He scratched the back of his neck. “I couldn’t miss it. Someone’s got to save you a seat.”
You shook your head, biting back a smile as you handed him a tissue from your bag. “It’s the other way around, is it not?”
“Maybe,” he admitted, taking the tissue to wipe his face.
As the bus rolled forward again, the rain continued to pour outside, but it didn’t bother you as much anymore. Beomgyu was here, sitting beside you again, and for reasons you couldn’t quite explain, that made the day feel a whole lot brighter.
“Y’know… I still don’t know how you know my name while I don’t even know yours,” Beomgyu said, leaning back in his seat as he looked at you with curious eyes.
You grinned sheepishly, fiddling with the strap of your bag. “I… It’s stupid.”
“What’s stupid is that we’re practically best friends now, and I still don’t know your name or have your number,” he said with a pointed look.
“I like our friendship. It’s low maintenance,” you teased, biting back a smile.
“I’d like it more if I could talk to you more often instead of just on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays,” he countered, his lips quirking into a small pout.
You laughed. “But isn’t it fun this way?”
“It’s a whole amusement park,” he replied with a chuckle. “Though we’re threading off-topic—how’d you know my name?”
“Who doesn’t know your name, business boy?” you shot back, laughing softly.
“What?” His brows furrowed in confusion.
“You’re the infamous business boy on our school’s social media page. You don’t know about that?”
“Oh, I heard Soobin mention something about it a couple of times, but I don’t really check the app. I just use it to look at the lunch menu,” he admitted, scratching the back of his neck.
“Well, you’re always making appearances on there. Especially from new students. ‘The dude from Econs 305 is really cute,’” you mimicked in a high-pitched voice, earning a laugh from him.
“Oh, so you’re saying you frequent the page often to find me?” he teased, leaning a little closer with a smirk.
“No! I’m just saying it pops up on my feed,” you said quickly, feeling your cheeks heat up. You looked away, embarrassed by the way he was watching you now.
“Hmm.” Beomgyu’s smirk deepened as he tapped his chin dramatically. “You’re blushing. Are you sure you don’t check it on purpose?”
“Absolutely not,” you huffed, still avoiding his gaze.
“Okay, okay,” he relented, though his grin didn’t fade. He leaned back in his seat and looked at you thoughtfully. “Still, I’m flattered. Infamous, huh? Guess I’ve got quite the reputation.”
You rolled your eyes. “Don’t let it go to your head.”
“Too late,” he said with a playful shrug. Then, after a moment of silence, he tilted his head and added, “So, are you ever going to tell me your name, or are you going to keep the mystery alive?”
You hesitated, biting your lip. “I don’t know… The mystery has a certain charm, don’t you think?”
“Oh, come on,” he groaned dramatically. “Throw me a bone here.”
You laughed, finally relenting. “Fine. I’ll tell you—on one condition.”
“Anything,” he said eagerly, his eyes lighting up.
“You’re going to have to wait a little longer,” you teased, grinning at the look of mock horror on his face.
“Is this some kind of game for you?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Maybe,” you grinned, feeling a little mischievous. “But don’t worry, I’ll tell you soon enough.”
Beomgyu sighed, shaking his head. “You’re impossible.”
Your conversation was abruptly cut off by the bus driver’s voice over the intercom, his tone apologetic. “Sorry for the delay, folks. There’s a small flood up ahead, and we’re going to have to take a detour. We’ll be going around, so it’ll take about 20 more minutes. Please bear with us.”
You sighed, leaning back into your seat. The rain outside was relentless, tapping against the windows in a rhythm that made your eyelids heavy. Gradually, you drifted off, your head tilting toward the window. Every so often, you jerked awake, only for your head to fall back against the glass with a soft thud. Beomgyu watched you, his lips twitching as he stifled a chuckle. He shifted closer, his gaze softening. Carefully, he leaned over and gently placed your head on his shoulder.
You didn’t stir. The comfort of the moment made you relax further into him, unaware of the quiet smile on Beomgyu’s face. After a few moments, an idea sparked in his mind. Reaching into his bag, he pulled out a Sharpie, the black marker feeling oddly significant in his hands. Glancing down at your arm, he softly grasped your wrist, guiding it gently. He wrote quickly, a mischievous grin tugging at his lips as he scrawled:
‘Text me, I’m trying to be your best friend on all 7 days of the week - Beomgyu’
Once he was done, he sat back, his heart racing a little as he looked at your sleeping form. Pretending like nothing had happened, he adjusted his posture and looked out the window, as if he hadn’t just written his number on your arm.
About 15 minutes later, the bus jolted as it finally approached your campus, pulling into the stop with a slight screech of the wheels. The ride was almost over, and you began to stir, your eyes fluttering open slowly. You blinked a few times, squinting in the morning light that filtered through the windows.
Beomgyu glanced over at you casually, his face neutral as you yawned, rubbing your eyes. You stretched and groggily looked around, your gaze landing on him.
“Hey,” he said, almost too nonchalantly. “We’re here. Campus, I mean.”
You nodded, still dazed from sleep. “Yeah, I guess we are.” You glanced down at your arm, and your eyes widened when you saw the writing on your skin. A small smile tugged at your lips, though you tried to hide it.
Beomgyu didn’t acknowledge your surprise, pretending to look out the window, his fingers tapping rhythmically on his bag. “Didn’t want to wake you up, but… it’s kind of hard to miss, huh?”
You rubbed your arm, trying to act casual. “Hmm, what’s this?” You raised an eyebrow, playing along.
“Nothing,” Beomgyu said, voice smooth. “Just figured it was a good time to share my number. You know, in case you need me for… any reason.” He grinned, his gaze flicking to you for a moment before he quickly looked away, feigning innocence.
You couldn’t help but laugh softly, your heart fluttering a bit at his casual confidence. “Smooth, Beomgyu. Really smooth.”
“Hey, I’m just trying to make sure I’m not just a bus stop friend,” he said, a playful tone in his voice. “I’ve got big plans for us to hang out… all week long.”
You chuckled, shaking your head. “You’re something else, aren’t you?”
Beomgyu only grinned, looking down at his bag as the bus doors finally opened. “I’ll take that as a compliment.”
As you both stood up, gathering your things, there was a lingering sense of something unspoken between you two, the kind that felt both thrilling and comforting all at once.
—
Beomgyu glanced down at his phone again, his finger hovering over the screen, but there was still no text from you. It had been a day or two since he wrote his number on your arm, and he couldn’t help but wonder if you were just too busy or, worse, playing hard to get. The thought made his chest tighten. He didn’t like that feeling, the uncertainty, but it was all he could think about. God, he wanted you so much, but now... now he wasn’t so sure.
He sighed, shoving his phone into his pocket and heading toward the campus bus stop. His mind kept replaying the moment he'd written his number on your arm, hoping you’d text him. He should’ve just asked for your number, but for some reason, he’d held back. What was wrong with him?
And then, as if on cue, he saw you standing there. His heart skipped a beat. You were just as he remembered—yellow headphones hanging around your neck. But there was something different this time. Something he hadn’t expected.
Someone was with you.
Beomgyu stopped dead in his tracks, his breath catching in his throat. Yeonjun. Of course, it had to be him. The guy was tall, confident, and... his arm was around you. Beomgyu's stomach twisted, the jealousy creeping up on him. He wasn’t the type to feel this way, but seeing the two of you together felt like a punch to the gut.
He told himself it wasn’t a big deal. That you’d never given him any indication you liked him in the first place. You were beautiful, funny, smart—of course, you’d be taken. He shouldn’t even be surprised, but damn it, it stung more than he expected.
Beomgyu glanced away, his feet itching to leave. Maybe it was better not to make a fool of himself.
Just as he was about to walk off, a loud voice rang through the air. "Beomgyu!"
He turned, and there you were—waving at him, smiling that infectious smile of yours. His heart fluttered. You looked so happy to see him. For a brief moment, the jealousy melted away, and all he could do was return your smile.
"Beomgyu, right?" Yeonjun said, raising an eyebrow. He grinned, the kind of smile that made Beomgyu want to roll his eyes. "I remember you. You’re the one who asked me where she was when she disappeared for two weeks."
Beomgyu’s face flushed instantly. He wasn’t sure whether he wanted to vanish into the ground or laugh it off. "No, no. That’s not me," he muttered, shaking his head quickly, trying to downplay the awkwardness of the moment.
Yeonjun raised an eyebrow. "No, I remember. It was you. I mean, you're the Business Boy, aren’t you?" He smirked, clearly amused. "I was a little surprised you were asking about this idiot here."
You shoved Yeonjun lightly, but Beomgyu could see the playful affection in your eyes. And in that moment, his heart sank. So this was it. You and Yeonjun. He had hoped he was wrong, but now he could see it clearly. You were a couple.
"You asked about me?" You tilted your head slightly, your eyes catching his.
Beomgyu’s cheeks flushed pink. "I mean, you were gone for so long, so I was just... wondering where you went."
"You came all the way to the arts center just to ask about me?" Your voice was light, teasing, and for some reason, it made his heart race.
Beomgyu quickly waved his hand, his face growing even warmer. "It’s not like that," he said, trying to downplay it. "I was just curious, that’s all."
But before he could say anything more, you grinned, eyes sparkling. "That’s so sweet!" You suddenly rushed over to Beomgyu’s arm, linking it with yours, much to his surprise.
He froze for a moment, caught off guard by the sudden closeness. He wasn’t sure whether to pull away or enjoy the moment. His heart thudded in his chest as you looked up at him with a playful smile.
"Okay, okay," Yeonjun chimed in, his voice teasing. "I get it, you two have some weird little connection, but we have to get going. I’ll let you two catch up later." He gave Beomgyu a knowing look before nudging you gently, a playful grin still on his face.
You looked a little embarrassed, but you didn’t let go of Beomgyu’s arm. "Sorry, I just... haven’t seen you in a while, Beomgyu," you said, your voice quieter now, your gaze softening. "It’s nice to know you cared enough to ask about me."
“It’s only been two days,” Beomgyu thought bitterly, but didn’t say aloud. He couldn’t help the twinge of disappointment that surfaced, especially after the number exchange that had been left hanging.
"Also, you haven’t texted me back," you sighed dramatically. "To think you were the one who told me to text you."
Beomgyu blinked, slightly taken aback. "You did?" His voice betrayed his confusion. "I didn’t get anything from you."
"You did!" You shoved your phone in his face. "See?"
Beomgyu grabbed your phone and checked the message history. "I didn’t get anything," he said again, scrolling through, but as he looked closely, he raised an eyebrow. "Wait, you saved my number wrong. It’s an 8, not a 6."
You stared at the screen in disbelief. "It’s a 6. I’m sure of it. Hold on, I even took a picture of it! See!" You quickly opened your gallery and shoved the phone at him again, showing him the snapshot of the contact info.
Beomgyu frowned, shaking his head. "No, that's definitely an 8," he said with a laugh, trying to hide his amusement at your determination.
"You have terrible handwriting!" you retorted, hands on your hips.
"No, I don’t!" Beomgyu shot back, now laughing. "You just have terrible comprehension skills!"
The two of you continued to bicker, your playful banter creating an almost natural rhythm. Yeonjun, standing beside you, cleared his throat loudly, interrupting the back-and-forth.
"Love, we really have to go," he said, his tone flat and a bit impatient, but still affectionate.
You blinked, suddenly realizing the time. "Oh, right! Sorry, I got carried away." Then, turning to Beomgyu with a bright smile, you said, "I’ll text you tonight, Beomgyu!"
Beomgyu, still processing the sudden turn of events, gave you a nod, though his chest felt oddly tight. "Alright," he said, his voice soft. "I’ll be waiting."
With that, you waved one last time and walked away with Yeonjun, leaving Beomgyu standing there, staring after you. He couldn’t help but wonder if the playful banter had meant something more—if maybe there was more between you two than just casual friendship. But until he heard from you, he could only hope.
—
Beomgyu laid in bed, his mind racing. Strangely, it wasn’t you that occupied his thoughts now—it was Yeonjun. Who was he, really? He wasn’t one to stalk someone’s Instagram, but tonight, he found himself doing just that. Scrolling through endless dance videos, selfies, and posts, he finally stumbled upon a highlight reel with a familiar yellow color—your yellow headphones.
Without thinking, his fingers tapped the screen, and video after video started playing. There you were, laughing, giggling, screaming, clearly having fun with Yeonjun. The two of you were obviously close—closer than he had imagined. His chest tightened as he watched, feeling a knot form in his stomach. He didn’t know how to feel. Jealous? That seemed silly, especially since you had never shown any signs of liking him back. His crush on you felt like a one-sided affair, and if anything, this just confirmed it.
Beomgyu chuckled to himself, still feeling that flutter in his chest. He quickly typed another response.
He sighed, shifting uncomfortably under the covers. Time to move on, he told himself. It was just a silly crush, and he had no right to keep dwelling on it. You were probably just being nice, and Yeonjun was clearly in the picture. Beomgyu had no business lingering on something that wasn’t even real.
Just as he was about to close the app, a notification popped up on his screen.
Yellow Headphones: Beomgyu!
His heart skipped a beat, and a rush of warmth spread across his chest. So much for moving on, he thought again, his thumb hovering over the message. He hesitated for a second before responding.
Beomgyu: Yellow headphones~ Yellow Headphones: Is that my new nickname? Beomgyu: Well, depends, it’s either that or bus girl and that doesn’t really have a ring to it. Yellow Headphones: I suppose. Anyway, whatchu doing? ^^
Well, Beomgyu couldn’t tell the truth, now could he? Stalking your potential boyfriend sounded really stupid.
Beomgyu: Just using my phone. You? Yellow Headphones: With Yeonjun right now. He’s been stressed over his dance recital and I’ve been helping him with it, but he’s still feeling all over the place. Beomgyu: Oh. You and him seem really close. Yellow Headphones: Of course! We’ve been friends since we were 10 ^^ we’re practically brother and sister. Beomgyu: Oh! You two aren’t dating? Yellow Headphones: God no, ew… besides, he has a girlfriend, and he is not my type.
Beomgyu’s eyes widened as he read that. Not my type—those words felt like a weight lifting off his chest. The knot in his stomach loosened, and he felt an unexpected surge of hope.
Beomgyu: Oh!
Beomgyu smiled—actually, he beamed. His excitement made him jump out of bed, letting out a quiet scream of joy, before realizing he was making too much noise.
“BEOMGYU, SHUT UP, I’M TRYING TO FUCKING SLEEP!” Soobin yelled from across the hall.
Beomgyu winced, sheepishly holding his phone closer to his chest. "Fuck, sorry!" he whispered, grinning to himself. He had a reason to be happy tonight, and that was enough for now. He quickly typed another message, eager to keep the conversation going.
Beomgyu: Haha, my bad. Yellow Headphones: Haha, it’s okay! Anyway, do you have any plans for tomorrow?
Beomgyu hesitated for a second, heart thumping. Was this really happening?
Yellow Headphones: Maybe we can hang out? I’d love to take this friendship out of the bus.
Beomgyu grinned wider, practically bouncing on his bed.
Beomgyu: I’ll see you at our usual bus stop at 3 then? Yellow Headphones: Sure!
—-
Beomgyu had been waiting at the bus stop for 10 minutes, it wasn’t that you were late, he was just really early, his excitement bubbling up as he checked his phone for the time again. He was nervous, but in a good way. Today was the day. The day he was meeting you outside of the usual school routine, just the two of you. And from the messages he'd gotten earlier, it was clear you were as excited as he was.
Then, as if on cue, he saw you.
You appeared in the distance, looking like a burst of sunshine in a bright yellow dress. Your hair was styled in a half ponytail, held up by a cute bow, making the whole look even more playful. Beomgyu felt his heart race as he took you in. Adorable. He couldn’t even put it into words, but his grin stretched from ear to ear. He had to force himself to stop from gushing about how cute you looked, biting his lip to keep himself from saying it out loud. It wasn’t like he didn’t want to—he just didn’t want to seem too eager.
You skipped over to him, a playful energy radiating from you, and nudged his arm. "There you are," you giggled, poking his sides, making him flinch in surprise but laugh all the same.
"You look great!" you added, eyes twinkling as you looked him up and down.
Beomgyu’s heart fluttered at the compliment. He’d styled his hair with a bit of gel, making it tousled in that effortlessly cool way. He’d chosen a simple, casual dress shirt and slacks—nothing fancy, but enough to look presentable. Enough to say, yeah, I look good. Because, well, he was Beomgyu, and he always did.
“Do I look any different from how I dress on campus?” he asked, quirking an eyebrow, trying to play it cool, though his smile betrayed his excitement.
You chuckled, crossing your arms in front of you as you assessed him. “Well, yeah. You only wear hoodies to school.”
Beomgyu couldn’t help but laugh. “I’m a hoodie guy, what can I say?”
“You’re a hoodie guy with potential,” you teased, poking his side again.
His grin widened. “Guess I’ve got to wear more than just hoodies around you then, huh?”
You shrugged playfully. “Maybe.”
Beomgyu chuckled, feeling a strange warmth spreading through him. This was nice. Really nice. He found himself staring at you, the way you carried yourself with such ease and confidence, making it impossible not to smile. He was genuinely looking forward to this.
“So, uh, what’s the plan?” he asked, wanting to make sure he didn’t come off as awkward, though he was fighting back the urge to let the conversation tumble into something that would sound way too cheesy.
“Well, I thought we could grab coffee first,” you suggested, grinning mischievously. “Then maybe take a walk around the park or something. Just… relax.”
“That sounds perfect,” Beomgyu replied, his voice a little softer than usual, but full of sincerity. He was definitely not about to complain about spending time with you.
You both fell into an easy conversation as you waited for the bus, and Beomgyu couldn’t help but steal glances at you when you weren’t looking, his heart racing in a way he wasn’t used to. Being around you felt different. He’d always been around people, but this—this felt like something he couldn’t quite put into words.
It didn’t matter, though. Today was the start of something, and he was finally okay with the fact that he was feeling it.
—
Beomgyu felt his palms starting to sweat as he sat across from you at the coffee shop. He had no idea what had gotten into him, but suddenly he was nervous. Really nervous. His usual confident demeanor was nowhere to be found, replaced by a strange fluttering in his chest. Every time you laughed, he felt a little spark, and when you looked at him with that warm smile, it was like his heart skipped a beat. It was all so much more than he had anticipated.
You were saying something about how cute the coffee shop was, but Beomgyu was only half listening. He couldn’t tear his gaze away from you—how effortlessly you moved, how you interacted with the people around you, your kindness radiating in everything you did. You said thank you to the barista, smiled at a little kid passing by, and his heart couldn’t help but swell. You were starting to feel a little too perfect, and it was making him swoon.
“So,” you said with a smile, taking a sip of your coffee, “this is a pretty cute first date, isn’t it?”
Beomgyu nearly choked on his drink. “Date? This is a date?” he blurted out, wide-eyed. His heart leaped into his throat as soon as the words left his mouth. He hadn’t even thought about it that way.
You looked up at him, your cheeks instantly turning pink. “This isn’t a date? Oh… I just assumed… this is really embarrassing,” you said, your voice trailing off as you awkwardly shifted in your seat.
Beomgyu felt a wave of panic wash over him. His brain short-circuited, and for a moment, he didn’t know what to say. He’d been so wrapped up in the idea of spending time with you that he hadn’t even considered the possibility of this being a date—and now you were embarrassed, and he didn’t know how to fix it.
"I—I'm sorry, I didn’t—" You sputtered, your words tumbling out in a mix of embarrassment. Then, in a flustered panic, you stood up and accidentally knocked over a glass of water onto your dress. "Oh my god!" you exclaimed, your face flushing in mortification.
Beomgyu’s heart dropped. “No! This can be a—” He rushed to stand up but hesitated, unsure of what to say to make things better.
You started to gather your things, clearly upset. “You don’t have to pity me, Beomgyu. I’ve been in this situation before,” you muttered, looking away and clutching your things tightly. “I’ll just—”
"No, you don’t get it!" Beomgyu almost shouted, his voice a little more desperate than he intended. "I don’t—it's not like that. I didn’t—this can definitely be a date if you want it to be," he stammered, feeling the heat rise to his face.
You froze, your hand still gripping your bag, and turned back to look at him. The nervousness in your eyes faded slightly, replaced by a hesitant curiosity. “Really?” you asked softly, as though unsure if you should believe him. “Because you don’t have to lie—”
“I’m not,” Beomgyu replied quickly, his voice more certain now. “I’ve had the biggest crush on you. Ever since you took the bus in those big, bright yellow headphones.”
“Oh,” you whispered, your eyes widening slightly. For a moment, everything was silent except for the chatter from everyone else in the coffee shop.
Beomgyu scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, unsure of how to continue. His heart was pounding in his chest, but he couldn't look away from you. “I know this probably isn’t how we both pictured this would happen,” he admitted, his voice softening.
This time, it was you who fell silent. You didn’t know what to say, so you just stood there, frozen in place. Then your eyes flickered downward. You realized your dress was wet, a small stream of water dripping down your leg.
“Right, my dress,” you mumbled, suddenly panicked.
“Here,” Beomgyu said quickly, handing you a napkin.
“Thanks,” you replied, your voice small as you dabbed at the wet fabric.
There was a brief moment of awkward silence, the realization of what had just been said still hanging in the air. So, you both clearly had feelings for each other, but neither of you seemed to know what to do with them.
“So, uh…” You both spoke at the same time, your words overlapping, before you both chuckled nervously.
“Yeah, uh…” Beomgyu trailed off, his hands shifting uncomfortably in his lap. “This is… a lot.”
“Yeah, a little,” you agreed, your voice tinged with a mixture of laughter and embarrassment.
For a moment, neither of you spoke again. The noise around you, the clinking of coffee cups and low hum of conversations, seemed to fill the space between you, making it feel both cozy and utterly awkward at the same time.
Beomgyu was the first to break the silence, his voice quiet but sincere. “I really like you, you know?”
You smiled at him, your heart fluttering. “I like you too, Beomgyu. I really do.”
He looked at you, his eyes soft and a little shy now, but there was something else there too—hope. “Before we, I guess… become a couple…” He cringed, and you couldn’t help but laugh at how endearing he was. “I’d love to take you out on a few dates first. I’d really like to get to know you better.”
You grinned. “You’re almost too perfect, I fear.”
Beomgyu smirked playfully. “I was thinking the same thing.”
You laughed again, the sound light and easy between the two of you. It felt good—comfortable, even—and you couldn’t remember the last time you’d felt so at ease with someone.
—
Two years had passed since that awkward coffee shop moment, and here they were again, at the same bus stop where it all began. Beomgyu and you stood side by side, hand in hand, but there was a noticeable difference now—two years of laughter, moments, and quiet affection between the two of you.
“This is ridiculous!” you exclaimed, frustration clear in your voice. “Why didn’t we think of moving somewhere else? Why do we insist on staying in this godforsaken area?!”
Beomgyu just chuckled, squeezing your hand lightly. “Baby, c’mon, this is where our roots are. Have you forgotten? Bus buddies and all that crap?”
You shot him a playful glare, rolling your eyes. “Gyu, this is getting crazy.” You gestured towards the crowded bus, which was slowly pulling away. “It’s the third one we’ve had to miss today. We’re never going to get to work on time at this rate.”
Beomgyu shrugged nonchalantly. “We could always just skip work. You know, pretend we’re working from home?” he teased.
You playfully shoved him. “Not funny,” you said with a soft laugh, though the frustration was still there. “But seriously, this is becoming a bit much. You’ve been saying for ages that we need to get out of this neighborhood.”
He took a step closer, his thumb brushing across your knuckles. “You really wanna move out of this area?” he asked, his voice quieter now, almost a little hesitant.
You turned to face him, looking up into his eyes. There was a seriousness in his expression that made your heart skip a beat. “I love the memories we’ve made here, but the buses are a nightmare. And we don’t even live that far from each other anymore…” You sighed. “I don’t know. I think I might be ready for a change. Something a bit quieter. Closer to our workplaces.”
There was a brief silence as Beomgyu let the words sink in. He stood there for a moment, his hand still in yours, before a smile spread across his face. “You know,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck, “I’ve been thinking about something too…”
You raised an eyebrow, your curiosity piqued. “What’s that?”
Beomgyu’s smile grew, his eyes glinting with excitement. “What if we, uh, moved into an apartment closer to work? Somewhere we could both call our place… together?”
Your heart skipped a beat at the suggestion. “What do you mean?” you asked, trying to hide the sudden rush of emotions.
“I mean…” he trailed off, his voice suddenly softer. “I know we’ve been living separate lives in our own places, but what if we took the next step? What if we moved in together, like a real couple? Maybe in an apartment just a few blocks away from our workplaces? We could make it our own… just us.”
Your breath caught in your throat as the gravity of his words settled over you. For a moment, you just stared at him, unsure if you’d heard him right.
But then, his hand gently cupped your cheek, and the sincerity in his gaze melted any doubt away. “What do you think? I’ve been saving up, and I thought… maybe it’s time. Time for us to be closer. To have our own space.”
Your heart was racing, your mind still trying to process everything Beomgyu had just said. You had dreamed about this moment, but hearing him actually say it out loud felt surreal. “You’re serious, aren’t you?” you whispered, the excitement bubbling up inside you.
“I am, if you say yes,” he replied, his voice full of sincerity, yet there was a hint of playfulness behind it.
You looked at him, a teasing smile tugging at your lips. “Now, how could I ever say no to that face?”
Beomgyu deadpanned, “You say no to me all the time.”
You raised an eyebrow, crossing your arms over your chest. “That’s because your requests are ridiculous. We’re not having dino nuggets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We need some variety.”
“Mayo, ketchup, ranch,” Beomgyu replied nonchalantly, as if that was a reasonable combination.
You scrunched up your nose. “That’s gross.”
“And yet, you still kiss me,” Beomgyu said with a grin, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
You rolled your eyes but couldn't hide the smile that tugged at your lips. “Unfortunately, I do.”
“Unfortunately?” he said, his voice dropping in pitch as he wiggled his eyebrows at you. “You didn’t seem to complain last night.”
You immediately flushed, quickly shooting a look around to make sure no one was nearby. “No bed talk in a school zone, idiot,” you shot back, trying to stay serious but failing miserably.
He grinned even wider, leaning in a little closer. “There are no kids here.”
You pointed at him accusingly. “There’s one right here,” you said, laughing despite yourself.
Beomgyu threw his hands up in mock surrender, still chuckling. “Alright, alright, I’ll behave.” But his grin never faded.
You couldn’t help but laugh, the energy between the two of you so effortless, so right. It felt like two years of inside jokes, shared moments, and quiet affection were all wrapped up in this one little exchange. You took a deep breath, squeezing his hand tighter as the bus pulled up, and just before it came to a stop, you said, “So, where’s our new apartment gonna be, huh?”
“Well…call me crazy but I’ve already been looking up on some apartments for about a few weeks now and since we’re not in a rush–we’ll be working from home today, by the way,-- and we can check out this new apartment listing I saw.”
You rolled your eyes, thinking aloud, “Hm, I don’t know. Work is kinda my only time to get rid of you.”
“Get rid of me? Baby, you need me.” He said, smugly.
“Alright fine. Is it open right now?”
“The open house ends in 30 minutes we can make it in time.” Beomgyu mumbled, glancing over to his watch.
“Fine.” You grunted.
—
The two of you made your way to the apartment Beomgyu had told you about. A laundry room, an island counter, a big enough living room to do late night acrobatics (Beomgyu does that when he’s drunk sometimes)—it almost felt too good to be true. But as you wandered through the space hand in hand, inspecting every corner, it wasn’t just good. It was perfect. The rent was within budget, and the apartment was a short walking distance from both your workplaces. It felt like everything was falling into place.
Until it wasn’t.
“No. NO!”
Both of you turned sharply toward the doorway, where Yeonjun stood with a look of pure horror on his face.
“I’m not having you two rabbits as neighbors,” he declared dramatically, crossing his arms. “I’ve already suffered enough when I stay over at Beomgyu’s place.”
“We never ask you to stay over,” Beomgyu shot back, rolling his eyes. “You choose to do it.”
Yeonjun scoffed, pointing an accusing finger at you. “It’s not my fault she runs my social media page and always posts updates late at night!”
You shrugged innocently. “Well, if we’re neighbors, we could communicate much more easily, don’t you think?”
Yeonjun narrowed his eyes. “No. Absolutely not. I can’t possibly have the world’s most annoyingly clingy couple living next door to me. It’s a nightmare scenario.”
Beomgyu sighed dramatically and stepped forward, throwing an arm around Yeonjun’s shoulders. “Yeonjunnie~,” he cooed, tilting his head and batting his eyelashes. “I love you.”
You grinned, quickly sliding to Yeonjun’s other side and clinging to his arm. “We love you~,” you added, mirroring Beomgyu’s syrupy tone.
Yeonjun looked utterly betrayed, glancing between the two of you as though you’d just sentenced him to a lifetime of torment. “I’m calling Taehyun and asking him to raise the rent,” he grumbled, attempting to shake you both off.
Beomgyu gasped, clutching his chest as if he’d been mortally wounded. “You’d betray me like this? After everything we’ve been through?”
“Everything we’ve been through? We’re only friends because this freak decided to date another freak,” Yeonjun retorted, glaring at the two of you.
“Hey!” you pouted, crossing your arms. “Don’t say that. He’s a cute little freak though, isn’t he?” you added with a grin, reaching over to pinch Beomgyu’s cheeks.
“I’m going to throw up,” Yeonjun groaned, looking genuinely pained.
“Don’t do that on my new carpet,” Beomgyu warned, straightening up and swatting your hands away.
“What do you mean, your new carpet—wait…no.” Yeonjun’s eyes widened in horror.
“Yes.” Beomgyu smirked smugly. “Hi neighbour!”
“Fuck this shit! I’m moving out,” Yeonjun declared, throwing his hands in the air and storming toward the door.
“Love you too, Yeonjunnie~,” Beomgyu called after him, laughter bubbling in his voice.
“Enjoy your new carpet,” Yeonjun shot back, slamming the door behind him.
—
Beomgyu sat cross-legged on the floor, holding a paintbrush like it was a weapon, his cheek already smeared with a streak of light blue. “Baby, stop!” he warned, narrowing his eyes at you.
“You painted my face first?!” you exclaimed, holding up your own paintbrush, dripping with pale yellow.
Before he could react, you swiped the brush across his nose, leaving behind a bright streak. Beomgyu gasped dramatically, dropping his brush to grab yours, but you jumped up and dodged, laughing.
“Come back here!” he yelled, chasing after you around the room.
You yelped, trying to escape, but he caught you around the waist and spun you around, both of you laughing so hard you could barely breathe. “Hm, I win.” he said triumphantly, dipping his finger in paint and smearing a heart on your cheek.
“Gyu!” you squealed, trying to wriggle free, but he only held you closer, grinning at his handiwork.
“Perfect,” he declared, his face close to yours now. His grin softened as he looked at you, his hand resting on your cheek. “Okay, you’re the cutest thing I’ve ever painted.”
Your laughter faded into a warm smile, your heart fluttering. “You’re such a dork,” you whispered, leaning in to press a soft kiss to his lips.
You looked up at him, a mischievous glint in your eyes, and dipped your hands into the blue paint. Pressing your palms gently against his lips, you smirked. “How about we make green?” you teased.
Beomgyu raised an eyebrow, dipping his fingers into the yellow paint and smearing it across your lips in retaliation. “Challenge accepted,” he said with a grin.
“We’re definitely going to get serious stomach pains from toxic paint,” you muttered, unable to hide your laugh.
He leaned in anyway, pulling you closer as his hands rested gently on your waist. His lips pressed against yours, the faint, messy blend of colors forgotten in the warmth of the kiss.
After a few more playful smears of paint and an awful lot of kisses, the two of you sat on the floor, finally taking a breather. Beomgyu pulled out a small wooden frame from one of the boxes, holding it up with a sheepish smile.
The bright yellow headphones sat perfectly preserved in the shadow box. “I thought we could hang this on the wall,” Beomgyu said softly, his voice laced with nostalgia.
You stared at it, your heart swelling with emotion. “You kept them?”
“Of course,” he murmured, his tone quieter now. “It’s cute how you gave these to me on our first anniversary, don’t you think?”
“Well, you did say the theme was memories,” you said with a small smile. “And I think meeting you is one of my favorite ones.”
“Who are you, and what have you done to my mean and sarcastic girlfriend?” Beomgyu teased, his lips twitching into a playful grin.
You rolled your eyes. “Remember how sweet you thought I was in the beginning?”
“You were sweet. For like…the first two months,” he said, feigning deep thought. “Your true colors came out right after I introduced you to Soobin.”
“Oh, trust me, I’ve been mean way before that,” you laughed. “It’s called trying to impress the cute boy I liked.”
“You should win an Oscar for that performance,” he quipped.
“Against who? You?”
“Oh, please,” he shot back with mock indignation. “I’ve never pretended. I’m 100% authentic.”
“Laid back? Remember that? You were all like maybe I am laid back.”
“I am!”
“Baby, you scream and jump around the apartment until 2 a.m. You’re a menace.”
“Doesn’t mean I’m not laid back,” he said, grinning. “Just means I’m loud.”
“Very loud. You’ve been pretending to be a soft boy this entire time, haven’t you?”
“You caught me,” he admitted with a laugh, leaning in to press a quick kiss to your lips.
After a brief struggle with the frame, he finally managed to hang it up on the wall. “Tada!” he announced proudly.
The two of you stepped back to admire it, your shoulders brushing as you stood close together. Beomgyu slid an arm around your waist and kissed the top of your head. “Welcome home, baby,” he murmured, his voice warm and tender.
“Welcome home, Gyu.”

soobin .ᐟ
my soobie toobie woobie :( i feel like he would be the type to silently shoulder his emotions, sometimes even trying his hardest to convince himself that his feelings aren't real or that they didn't matter. he'd go and overanalyze every interaction, making sure he isn't overstepping any boundaries he made himself,,, around her, even with the others present, he'd be more reserved and shy, his usual easygoing demeanor replaced by nervous laughter, maybe even going as far as avoiding eye contact altogether or making up excuses to leave the room. he would also maintain a safe distance, actively making sure he's never put in the same room as her. in the end, he'll choose to simply suppress his emotions and feelings entirely, prioritizing the happiness of his dear friend and the peace of the group over his own </3
yeonjun .ᐟ
oh jjunie,,, at first, he'd be in denial; he'll try to convince and tell himself that it was just his fleeting thoughts, that his heart totally did not just do multiple flips after seeing one of his bestfriend's girlfriend smile of all people. but the more he dwells on that thought, the deeper his feelings become, until it's too much to ignore. yeonjun would find it hard to be his usual self around her, trying to play it cool, but in the end, he crumbles completely. as a deeply loyal friend, thinking of and having feelings towards his bestfriend's girlfriend would weigh heavily on him, and he might even try to overcompensate, showing excessive support for their relationship by saying things like, "you're so lucky to have her!" or "you guys are perfect for one another!" so he doesn't feel as awful (it doesn't work) :(((
beomgyu .ᐟ
an actual hopeless romantic :( it would most probably hit him the hardest once he actually realizes his feelings,, his first reaction would be disbelief; he would likely tell himself too that it was just a tiny crush, but the more he suppresses it, the more he'd find it impossible to ignore the pangs of longing and guilt that comes with it. he'd be more "silly" and hyper around her, a mask he puts up so his real feelings doesn't show, only to later regret it once he's alone with his thoughts. as a way to silently express his yearning, he would stay up late, using his talent as an escape, writing songs about her and pouring his emotions into music rather than towards her directly. ultimately, he would try to distance himself one way or another too, even if it left him quietly hurting </3
taehyun .ᐟ
my tyun :(( his level-headed nature would make him approach the situation with as much logic as possible, even though emotions are never entirely rational. he would keep his interactions with her polite but distant, avoiding anything that could be misinterpreted, but in private, taehyun would sit in his room with his headphones on, letting sad or introspective songs play as he processes his emotions. he wouldn’t cry easily, but the pain would show in subtle ways, like in the far-off stares he’d have while thinking about her. but then his pragmatic side would berate him, reminding himself that these feelings were unproductive and unfair, but the ache would linger, quietly gnawing at him. nevertheless, his respect for his bestfriend's relationship would outweigh any hurt he's feeling, letting his feelings fade overtime for everyone’s sake :(((
hueningkai .ᐟ
my sweet sweet hyuka </3 as someone who values the happiness of those he loves, he’d be overwhelmed with guilt the moment he realizes he has feelings for another member’s girlfriend. it would leave him confused and conflicted—he’d wonder how his heart could betray his loyalty to his bestfriend in such a way. kai would likely smile and joke around her like usual, but there would be a noticeable hesitation in his voice, and he might fumble with his words or avoid looking directly at her, as if afraid his feelings would be exposed. his kindhearted nature and empathy would push him towards a resolution: he’d choose to quietly let go of his feelings, no matter how much it hurt, finding solace in the fact that love also means wanting what’s best for others—even if it means stepping aside :(((

POV: Your Feeder Forces You to Admit How Fat You're Getting
Hey babe, are you almost ready to go? We’re about to be…oh shit. Oh my god.
What do we have here?
Look at you. Just look at yourself. Poor little fat girl thought she could squeeze into the clothes that fit her before she became such a greedy, insatiable glutton. Before she finally gave in to those sick secret desires she always had and started letting herself indulge. You promised it was just a little bit, but this doesn't look like a little bit. This looks like a pile of lard who still thinks she can cram her bulging rolls into jeans that stopped fitting 40 pounds ago.
Did you actually think those jeans would fit? I mean, look at the way you’re jiggling just trying to work them up your thighs, did you actually think there was a chance they'd button over all that gut? That swollen, wobbling, overfed gut. You’re getting so fat. All your greed is so obvious, all over your body. It's always obvious. How much bigger you’re getting, how tight your clothes are, how much you eat every day. You just eat and eat and eat until you’re gonna pop, don’t you? But you think you can hide it. You think you can cover it all up with those too-small clothes that are straining to keep all that lard at bay.
Have you noticed that? Have you noticed how you still dress like you can hide what you are? You can't hide, piggy. Not from me, and not from anyone. And you especially can't hide behind clothes this small.
Let me see, stand up.
You fat pig.
Look at the way your love handles bulge over the waistband of your panties. Those panties are so tight too, there's really nothing you own that fits you, huh?
No?
You disagree? How can you disagree when I'm standing in front of you watching you get out of breath just from trying to get your jeans on. Look at how much your body jiggles with each movement. I can't believe you actually let yourself go like this. I can't believe you let your desires turn you into a silly, mindless little farm animal getting fattened up for the slaughter.
I may have introduced you to all this, but I didn't do this to you. I just wanted you a little chubby. You’re the one that stuffed her face like a greedy hippo every day until you’re fat enough to crack a chair. Fat enough to blow out the seams of whatever you’re trying to force over all that swollen blubber.
No, no, don't stop trying to get those pants up. I wanna watch the show. The spectacle.
That's what you’ve turned yourself into, huh baby? A spectacle. A fatty, swollen mess that’s too big to fly under the radar. A sideshow freak that nobody can look away from. People are amazed. Horrified too, but genuinely amazed. How you made yourself so fat so quickly, how you could possibly think waddling outside in clothes a few pounds away from ripping off your body was a good idea.
You know what the funny thing is? They think you know just how far gone you are. They think you know how fat you’ve made yourself. They assume there's no way you could be oblivious to just how wide you’ve gotten, just how far that belly protrudes out and how much that lower roll jiggles as it pokes out of the bottom on your t-shirts.
You used to dress so cute before all this. You were always in those adorable tights with the designs and those little shorts skirts, you had an actual sense of style. Now you just squeeze your growing body into whatever mismatched sweatpants and t-shirts can actually accommodate all the weight you’ve put on. It's like you’ve completely given up on living a normal life and instead dedicated yourself fully to blowing up into an unrecognizable pig. That's what everyone thinks anyway. And you’re just the naive, dumb little thing who thinks her lackluster disguise is still working. Who thinks that no one can see just how tight everything is getting, who thinks no one notices when she has to unbutton her pants after shoving her face full in public.
You’re in denial.
You’re in denial about how fat you got. How can you be in denial when I know you feel all that heavy blubber hanging off your body every day? How can you be in denial when you eat triple the amount you used to? When you get stares every time you’re in a restaurant because of how much of a pig you’ve made of yourself? How can you be in denial when you can’t even see your toes anymore? When you have to suck in that flabby, wobbling mound of a belly and lay on your back just to have a chance of fitting into a pair of jeans?
It's almost funny. How much of a food-addicted pig do you have to be for your denial to outweigh your fat ass?
No no, don't sit down. Keep struggling and jiggling for me, keep trying.
I know you’re tired. But this is your consequence.
This is what you deserve for eating yourself into the size of a fucking house. You porky pig. I bet you’re hungry right now, huh? I bet you’re thinking about stuffing your face even while I tease you for getting so big. I bet you’re thinking about what you’re gonna eat when this is all over.
What?
Did I hit a nerve? Am I right? Does all of this just make you wanna eat and eat and eat until you can't move?
Of course it does. Everything does.
All that denial isn't good for you. It's just gonna make you get bigger. And like I said, nobody knows that you’re refusing to acknowledge how much weight you’ve put on. Nobody knows that you still see yourself as a thin, fit girl, that you actually think the clothes you force onto your overfed body fit you well enough to get by. They think you’re a greedy, sloppy fatass who can't control herself. They think you’re just a gluttonous pig that can't stop putting it away, that you’re more concerned with your next meal than your health. And they're not wrong.
Are they?
Don’t just nod, say it out loud. Say they aren't wrong. Say you’ve become a greedy pig too dumb to think about anything but her next meal.
You don't wanna say it?
But baby, I can see it. I see it all over you, I see it whenever you waddle into a room. You’re getting so heavy. Those thighs are getting so thick and swollen and your arms just keep getting flabbier, it's like every part of your body has been inflated with lard. That belly pushes out further and further every day and you just let it. You don't even try anymore, all you ever do is eat.
I wanna get you on the scale. I wanna see how hot and red your face gets when I force you to push all that belly back with your tubby little hands and read the number out loud. Denial will get pretty tricky then, won’t it? It won't be so easy to pretend that you’re just bloated or that you’ve just put on a few. It won’t be so easy to avoid looking into the mirror to see the way your waistband digs into your rolls of fat and leaves angry red lines across your spherical gut.
It won’t be so easy to keep eating until you can’t breathe every night when you actually have to admit what you’ve done to yourself.
Nice try, love. It is what you’ve done. Trying to blame me for the fact that you’ve blimped yourself into a pile of blubber waddling around in clothes so tight you look like a stuffed sausage doesn’t change the facts. I may have started this, but you’re the one who can’t stop. You’re the one who eats until they can’t get off the couch every night, you're the one who took every feeding and stuffing further than I did. You’re the one who was secretly stuffing your face night after night when I went to sleep.
Yea.
I bet you thought I didn't know about that.
I bet you thought you were actually doing a good job of hiding what a whale you were becoming.
You’d come back to bed at three in the morning with a gut so bloated you couldn't help but moan, and you think I had no idea? Every night I could hear you gorging yourself and burping non stop. Just smacking and slapping that gut to force out burp after burp just so you can have enough room to shove down more takeout.
I watched you a couple times, you know. You’re so loud I could already hear the whole thing, so I thought, why not? You would've been so humiliated to know how much of a pig you made of yourself. I know you eat nonstop, but when you’re in front of people you have at least a hint of decorum, a modicum of adherence to table manners. You stuff your face, but at least you’re a normal human being. Not when you’re alone. When you’re alone, you turn into a literal pig. A porky little pig feasting on slop.
You’re the fattest piggy on the farm, aren't you?
Aren't you baby?
Say it. Tell me what a fat piggy you are.
That's right.
Watching you was almost kinda disturbing. You were completely insatiable. It was like you were in a trance, just cramming more and more food down your throat by the fistful. You’ve turned into an addict.
We're gonna have to sign you up for Overeaters Anonymous, won’t we? After we get you some more clothes. That would be fun. Making you stand up in front of everyone and admit how quickly you got so big. Making you recount all your meals for the previous day with the calorie counts included so everyone can know that you’re at least a pound fatter than you were the day before.
Even in a room of piggies so fat they need rehab, you’d still be the biggest, jiggliest, greediest piggy there. You’d make the other fatties feel better about themselves. They’d think.......
