ive always thnought that dave and karkat bounce off each other rly well. i was obsessed with davekat as a kid too. between 2016-23 smth softly clicked into place for me.

what do i see in it? i dunno. in my interpretation, it's just... realness ?

its longform candid pointless comfort. its changing each others nicknames in the server, its making fun of a spelling error, its "fragging a noob", its a youtube letsplay of a game you thought you'd hate, it's meandering around your point and then stabbing it with ur own impatience, its feeding the trolls on your amv. its genuine interest in each other, hoping someone specific likes your post, being scared to go outside and being scared to stay inside. it's checking the comments against better judgement, its sampling their voice in your bgm. it's a combined pressure to be something the other person doesnt get, but does. its a very potent push&pull simultaenous in both directions. its "un"stoppable force vs "im"movable object. it's a puzzle & theres somethin very vital at the heart of it about turning around & seeing someone that sees you right back, like it or not. through a screen or through shades or eye2eye. inverted & subverted, exactly the same

it can be like 500 things at once, its so nebulous but always rly specific to them. you cant get this dynamic with any other characers, not in anything ive ever seen. unless u made ocs that act like em i guess. it is one of a kind

i didnt rlly get this stuff when i was a kid. i mostly shipped them bc my answer to any rivalry was "wat if they kisd", and theyre cool characters. i used to focus on the tension when i was a kid. theres a lot more to it than that.

ok i think i told the story of how i created fantasy au a few times already but sjkbackc i dont mind

april 2023 i was prefarming for kaveh mats. was during the interdarshan championship update, kaveh was released in the 2nd half so i spent quite some time in the newly dropped sumeru region (realm of farakhkert/gavireh lajavard) to farm mourning flowers and fungal spores

i doodled hthm working hard to farm for kvh and him with the lil fungi and their big hats gave me an idea to draw him with a big hat like a cool witch. thought about it more and came up with a neat idea for a story so yea, my au and witchtham lit was inspired by the fungi while i was in the middle OF DRAWING THIS PIECE AHHA

(i think i said before when i talked about my ocs that i have a "problem" of always coming up w concepts and ideas and stories and whatever super fast. i can like, listen to one track or look at one thing and immediately get an idea for a fully fleshed out story. my brain is almost always full w stuff, its a blessing and a curse bc i cant work on 100 things at the same time. im not srsly complaining btw ok🧍‍♀️)

Kronk does bestieship with Vivienne and would destroy people's lives to see his allies in positions of power. he'd declare himself divine if it was possible. he's a self-hating mage and loves the circle. he doesn't necessarily have Faith in the circle OR in institutions but he wants to make it so they benefit Him and doesnt gaf about if theyre hurting other ppl who aren't in his #crew. (his crew is very small cus most ppl cannot stand this dude btw). he threatens to make ppl tranquil for the fuck of it and follows thru most of the time. he'll lie and cheat to make his way to the top but he wont get his own hands dirty <3 he loves knowledge and learning and power <3 he doesn't actually care abt money but he cares about status cus it will create avenues for him to pursue evil magic or whatever the fuck this dude wants. type of guy whos like yeah world domination sounds fun i could do that then he's in control and hes like FUckckkkkkkkkkkk im so bored. ok public execution time! or something. mostly he's a nihilist and doesnt have faith in his fellow man. he wants all the secrets of magic revealed to him <3 he doesnt like templars but hes like fine whatever we can deal if they wanna keep all other mages (NOT ME) under their thumb. Honestly, I project SO MUCH onto these characters, It's how I flesh them out so much. Each of them have interests of mine, music, personality traits, my thoughts shoved into them. Ahhh, they're so special to me <3 Cain — Answered this jokingly before, but idk T_T Having a hard time pin-pointing anything. There's definitely a lot of love put into him, but I'm blanking on particular features. He allows me to feed into my weird religious fixation despite never being religious— Evangeline — Her body. 100% intentional and not a choice I made at the beginning of her creation— only more recently. Obviously not a 1-to-1 comparison, but it's cool to not search the internet for a ton of references. (Projecting features that I'm insecure about onto my most insecure character allows me to be. Vulnerable in a way that's not apparent to anyone else other than me but the freedom to represent things has been helping me x_x) Seraphina — ...everything. She was my absolute favorite for months and I would project everything onto her LMAO. She allows me to talk about creepypasta, scene stuff, my little pony, "old internet" stuff specifically like 2000s-2010s,,, She is the OC who is cringe for the sake of it, and I WILL put her into anything else I like (BTD/TPOF) because I made her specifically to fit well in things like that bc I like them!!! Guys I love seraphina so miuhcjhjhjkhgjg She is my mary sue ................... put her everywhere...

CRIMSON - What would it take for them to kill someone they know?

I know this question is asking for specific scenarios, but I'm giving you traits. Cain — Less restraint & morals. I think he's physically capable of killing someone, but he does have a lot of empathy, despite the sadistic tendencies. When it comes to people he knows though, he's very devoted. I think of him like a dog. I don't think he could. He'd rather die probably, LOL. Would think of it as some saviour sacrifice stuff. Evangeline — Confidence, physical strength depending on the method. I mean, the girl is 4'11" & malnourished from eating fucking rats in the sewer... She's not particularly close to anyone in general. She doesn't have the emotional connection to push past like the other two. She's also very unstable and has access to a lot of medical supplies and drugs. BUT. She cannot even lift a finger to protect herself, no way she'd premeditate a murder. She would never be able to hurt a fly unless some miracle of confidence and self respect came over her. ^_^ Seraphina — Depends on who...? She's got an interest in the macabre (hehe), pretty desensitized to blood/gore 0.0 Again, I think the emotional connection would be what restricts her from it. Even in the Kylar Dies AU, she's not the one to kill him. She couldn't. No matter what they put each other through. In the BTD universe, there's less of that emotional connection.

BLUSH - Who flusters them most?

Cain — Sydney. Evangeline — Doctor Harper. Seraphina — Kylar...? (This is a hard choice. If OC's are included, it's Abel. In game, it's a battle between... Kylar, Robin, Whitney, Avery...) I think Whitney would fluster her because he's down w/ exhibitionism. Robin's confidence is high but it's not enough to like...... FLUSTER her... (despite her love for him. he's very vanilla and she is Not.) Um.... Avery's kind of like clockwork. She's not much of a thrill. Kylar though, I feel like he's often super jealous & hysterical and that would definitely. drive him to do more rash things just to please her & keep up w/ her...? What they think of the main crew:

Vinnie: not rlly close with her but thinks she’s veryy cool 😎

Skipp: closer with him, prob spends more time with skipp than with Vinnie . Overall just friends

Stone: will hang out sometimes, but only if stone wants to. Kinda close to him, just a lil closer than with skipp.

Also, they knitted their sweater themselves but it has patches from how of a bad mod they did. Pronouns are they/them but also she/her. Appeared after the pilots events, yeah, this is the most info I got rn haha not quite finished.

okay so i took a long time to think about this bc GOD its such a good question but now that i rlly look back at talk ur talk - i realize that i was incredibly self indulgent with writing scenes and what sort of stuff i was including!! i mean, obviously the fic idea as a whole was very self indulgent, but i think that whenever i had an idea for a scene, it ended up in talk ur talk in some way

however, there are definitely some things that i cut out simply because they weren't in character/i didn't think it would be fitting, which sometimes you just have to do! the characters were progressing, and they didn't fit into this cookie cutter mold of a classic celebrity, so obviously i wasn't able to write some of the things i would've liked, aka:

interviews. i would've LOVED to write more interview scenes with nico. but i also knew that he, as a character, very adamantly was not a fan of them, and so obviously i couldn't just make him go back on his word and go off to do a bunch of interviews

more scenes in public/with fans, getting recognized and what not. honestly this may have just come from my own fear of oc's, bc everytime i included other characters that were not from the main cast, i got *terrified* like idk i just try to stay away from them? not like they can't be written well, they absolutely can, i've read fics with some of the most incredible oc's. i am just scared of writing them on my own, so i tended to stay away from the fan interaction thing even though i definitely would've liked to do that more

red carpets/award shows!! i didn't include a lot of these bc i felt like it'd get really repetitive after the first time and i didn't want to clutter up the fic with a bunch of, essentially, the same scenes. he walks down a red carpet. cameras are flashing. he answers some questions. that's pretty much it

him just meeting a bunch of other celebs like ugh ik i've thought abt it a lot and it'll never actually show up in the fic but i do like to imagine it!!

something i also didn't include in greatest of luxuries was will listening to welcome to new york. nonstop. like all the time. it's just always there he's always listening to it if i ever mention him listening to a song and not saying a specific song it's welcome to new york bc ofc it is.

aside from all that, i think when looking back at all of it, the one thing i regret is that i didn't write more school scenes. like. there were so many opportunities, more octavian, more angst, more nico being famous, like i feel like famous kid in a school with the asshole that is octavian would be such a cool dynamic and i kinda regret not writing it more! i think i may, one day, go back and write a few extra scenes of talk ur talk into a few one-shots or something (probably after i finish greatest of luxuries and just get nostalgic over talk ur talk lmfao) but i think that's it! thank you for the ask!!

Dhole glanced at Dice again, who was staring straight ahead at the doors of the gunship. The boy readjusted his hold on his blasters, glancing to his side where Ahsoka was grinning. He and Dice had been sent alongside the 501st and 212th to safely escort a Senator back to Coruscant after his planet had been invaded by the Separatists. Once they’d freed the Senator, the two Corrie’s and a small squad would head home whilst the others and the Jedi continued the fight until the Republic had regained control over the tropical planet.

“Dhole, are you alright?” A voice asked and the red-armoured boy turned to Xi, who was clutching his helmet under his arm, running a hand through his black hair. Dhole went to do the same, entangling his fingers in his mess of curls, tugging wisps down to his eye level to see the red colour he’d dyed the ends. “Brother, are you alright?”

“Ah yes, sorry Xi!” He chirped back, pushing down his nerves and attempting to reconstruct the sunny facade he was slowly slipping out of. Sure, Dhole was a sunny boy, but the longer the war continued on for, the less sunny he was. “Sorry, Xi, just zoned out.”

The older trooper gave him a doubtful glance but nodded. The small Togrutan girl next to Dhole poked his side.

“Dhole, why are you so nervous?” Ahsoka asked quietly, and Dhole inwardly cursed the stupid Force giving her the ability to sense his emotions. 

“I just don’t want anything to go wrong, kid,” he told her with a forced smile. It then melted to a frown as the gunship swayed in the air. “But I’ve got a bad feeling about this.”

Ahsoka laughed and that helped to at least make Dhole’s shoulders relax a little. “My Master says that all the time!”

“Says what, Vod’ika?” Dhole asked, a smile growing on his face but this one wasn’t fake. 

“‘I’ve got a bad feeling about this,’” she explained. “He says it so much!”

“Really?” Dhole chuckled, before muttering as he put his helmet on. “Maybe he’s right then.”

The plan was simple enough to follow and Dhole shouldn’t’ve felt as scared and nervous as he did - nerves swirling around his stomach and making it lurch with every step he took. He watched as the Clones around him started blasting at the enemy, and his heart lurched when Ahsoka ran away from his side - towards the enemy with her green lightsabers blocking blasts.

Dhole moved as his body commanded - away from the heat of the blasts and to cover, where he breathed deeply and blinked away his panicked tears. Why was he so worked up?

“Dhole, focus!” Rex called to him, noticing the robotic movements his brother had adopted and the way his hands were shaking. “Vod’ika, are you alright?” The blonde Clone shuffled closer to the younger, placing an armoured hand on his shoulder. Even though they were both wearing helmets, Dhole could hear Rex’s concern.

“Yes sir!” He chirped back, steadying his voice and accidentally slipping back into the soldier-voice the Kaminoans expected off them. “Sorry sir!”

Rex flinched, frowning at the boy’s language. But he didn’t have time to dwell on it. 

Dhole watched the Captain turn away as he leapt to his feet, expecting his natural battle instincts to kick in. He fired at the enemy - his brothers by his side - but his instincts hadn’t kicked in properly.

A grenade exploded to his side - a white armoured Clone flew past him from the impact of the explosion - as he was thrown to the side. Dhole cried out when a piece of sharp, metal shrapnel cut into his arm - straight through his armour. Someone beside him shouted something, but his vision had tinted with a red haze.

“Fox!” Dhole screamed out instinctively, reaching his good armour up. His instincts howled for his older brother, but he was not there. 

“Dhole!” A voice called, a feminine voice. Ahsoka, his mind gently explained, and he barely heard it over the sound of his own thoughts screaming for his brother. “Rex, medic!”

Dhole felt several tears fall from his eyes - tears of pain that he couldn’t stop - as he reached his hand to Ahsoka, desperate for any feeling of comfort. A hand slipped into his and he squeezed it gently, trying to stop himself from gripping her hand like the lifeline it was.

“Dhole!” A voice screamed and suddenly he felt his body shift unwillingly as someone grabbed him. He screeched in pain and wreathed in the person’s hands. Two hands moved to pull his helmet off. And even though it was red-tinted, Dhole could recognise the familiar - yet unfamiliar in the immense worry that adorned it - face of Dice, the burn scar crinkled with worry. 

The person holding his helmet was his General, whose face was swirling with worry and he was biting his lip in concentration. “Kix is on his way,” the brunette told him, glancing to his Padawan. “Cover him, I’ll continue the fight with Obi-Wan.”

Ahsoka didn’t have time to protest - not that she would have anyway - as her Master leapt to his feet and rejoined the battle. 

Dhole barely noticed anything after that - his vision was too blurry and his limbs were white hot with pain. Kix arrived shortly after and tended to him, but midway through the medical attention, he blacked out.

“Kix!” A voice called and Dhole flinched at the loud, unfamiliar sound. “I believe your trooper is awake!” Is that, Dhole thought. General Kenobi? He opened one eye hesitantly, recoiling from the bright light but getting confirmation about his thoughts from the ginger Jedi hovering above him.

A face appeared in his vision, but it was not a Clone.

“Oh good, you're awake!” General Skywalker told him with a grin. Dhole internally frowned. Since when did the Jetti care so much about me? He thought.

“Dhole!” A voice cried out and the boy flinched as Dice threw his arms around him, encasing him in a hug. Dice was shaking. “You scared me Vod’ika!”

Dhole sunk into his arms numbly, too tired to speak. 

“We were worried you were dead,” General Skywalker explained, and Dhole had to stop himself from raising an eyebrow.

“I’m sorry, sir, but why were you worried? I’m just another clone,” Dhole told him and Dice promptly smacked him on the back of the head. Dhole chose to ignore it. 

“You are not just another clone to us,” the General replied, sitting down beside the Clone. “You’ve done some amazing work, Dhole - that’s why you're an ARC Trooper - and your kind as well. You’ve saved our lives many times before, and that's why we chose to get to know you.”

Dhole’s face fell and then was replaced by one of utter shock. His stomach swirled with warmth and a grin broke out over his face, his vision blurring with tears. He lunged forwards and wrapped his arms around the brunette General. 

General Skywalker’s face contorted with shock before he wrapped his arms around the crying Trooper, soothing him by running a hand through his curls gently and playing with the stray wisps. “Shh, it’s alright.” 

“Thank you so so so much, General,” Dhole spluttered out relaxing into the comforting arms of the Jedi. His heart ached with joy as a tear fell from his eye, getting caught in his eyelashes like raindrops do. 

“He’s right, you know,” General Kenobi spoke up as Dhole watched Dice leave the room, seconds later Ahsoka entered. The Togruta waved to him frantically, beaming all the while. “You're not just Clones to us. Your soldiers, men, and you deserve a lot better than what you're getting.”

“You really believe that?” Dhole asked, pulling away from General Skywalker, who gave his back an affectionate pat. 

“Of course!” Ahsoka chipped in, moving to sit beside her friend and drape her arm over his shoulders. “Your our family too, Vod!”

Dhole bit his lip, but he couldn’t stop the tears as they began spilling uncontrollably from his eyes, burying his face in the teenager’s neck. “I’m sorry.”

“Don’t be,”  General Kenobi chided softly, hand on the Trooper’s back. He was smiling sympathetically, blue eyes shining with truth.

“Yeah, we’re all one great big family!” Anakin laughed, grinning and Dhole couldn’t stop himself from grinning back.

“The Jedi and the Clones,” Dhole chucked. “A formidable family!”

But everyone knows family doesn’t last forever.

This is a dice insert oc so main part IA about her and ouma ♡♡

Tgey met when they were both 8, hoshiko was making a mad dash away from her old orphanage and she jumped a wall and her dress got caught on a point part of the fence and when she ran she fell face first into his back and knocked him over onto the floor and almost got trampled by the other dice members She literally looks up from the ground and sees herself surrounded by a bunch of 7-12 year Olds in creepy clown masks and basically clutches her purse thinking she's gonna be robbed amd starts freaking the fuck out like "DONT TELL THEM I RAN AWAY PLEAXE DONT TAKE ME BACK I DONT WANNA GO!" ans starts spiraling into oblivion while ouma (8) is like stomping his feet throwing a hissy fit over her knocking her over and knocking his mask offMeanwhile some of the older (12 yr old) members are helping separate them hoshiko looks at him and is like oh my GOD he's so cool!?!??! (He isnt) she makes an attempt to ask who they are and gets a response of like "were a SECRET EVIL CRIME GROUP and were SUUUPER BAD so you CANT JOIN US 😡😡" and he makes them all run away, but forgets his silly little mask. Which she grabs and stashes in her bag, then runs after them Once she catches up she basically has been yelling after them for like 10 minutes so her voice is honestly kinda shot and she like whisper screams "you forgot ur scary mask thing!!!!" To which she gets a like begrudging "ugh... thanks :///" because In my opinion ouma is very picky when it comes to friends, it's either love or hate and she hasn't made it on the good list yet so all she was is a stranger who PUSHED HIM!! (Faceplanted)She she looks around at this group of people and suddenly tye urge to join them.hits her like a brick and she immediately asks if she can be their friend (which earns her a few smiles) and ouma kinda just... glares at her like :/// what do you add to the group ://///Little does anyone rlly know she's a very talented little pickpocket and she does a little rudimentary trick and steals something outta his pocket and that's her ticket in :>

Ok now onto more

Her first true friends in dice were 2 of the girls from the dice portrait in v3 (brown hair girl and blonde twintail girl. I named them Mika and Yui.)

She rlly wanted to get along with ouma but he made an effort t9 avoid her for a few days after she joined bc he was still annoyed that she made him trip and look stupid

He kinda started seeing her as a talented liar and a good person to be around when she started showing admiration for him

Like when she was designing her little uniform she decided to wear her scarf like he does because "it's suuuuper cool :]"

she proved herself to be a good thief and a pretty good liar so she ended up being the go to for schemes when her and ouma became friends

She has a very codependent personality so she puts like all her trust in him (mistake)

Other members warn her about it but she's already too deep in and starts mirroring his personality until it sets in and they're super similar to each other

After they get close and hoshi becomes more of his like. Right hand man / second in command they end up talking a lot

Ik it's cliche as hell but they don't rlly lie that much to each other bc they can see through eachothwts bullshiy there's no point

As more group members join they try and split responsibility over like. Group chores.

They both have a commanding presence so whenever they like. Sneak into an abandoned apartment complex for shelter they kinda split responsibility with how to organize it

Theyre kinda sibling like but they aren't rlly related they just look similar

She has an insane amount of shit on him it's not even funny
