Sometimes the voices of the hat man give me good ideas.)#I have been vibrating with excitement for when we finally get to the chicken scene.#Because I really want to draw chickens! I love chickens! They are so optimally shaped for maximal cuteness.#That's a creature that was designed to be fluffy and sit on things. What is there to *not* love!#I know there is more significance to the whole exchange but really...I think Lan Wangji deep down just wants to hold cute creatures.#His hands are big and gentle and not meant for swords! They are made to be filling rabbit hutches with fresh hay and petting chickens.#This is to say; Lan Wangji's problems could all have been avoided if he was a farmboy.#He can still be a farmer. The two of them could run off into the country and start something new.#"True love is possible only - in the next world - for new people” Is a disco elysium quote I think about for wangxian all the time.#Ah but that's a different tangent. #chikorita #bald #and WELCOME TO GEN 2!! feels like we only just started with the new blog theme and yet here we are in gen 2 already #i remember back when it was still front-facing pokémon‚ it felt like it took FOREVER to get through a generation. but here we are #blitzing through gen 1. maybe it's just because i find a majority of gen 1 pokémon designs to be boring and uninteresting #so it flew by like that. but now we're starting to get into the guys i like #and this thing. well. this pokémon is divisive‚ to say the least #i feel like it's a love-it-or-hate-it type design #folks either hate the bean-shaped head and how it has No snout and its face is all flat #or they love it and think it's adorable #i think it's cute. tbh. i used to not like it #but it's kind of a silly creature and i like that about it #i've come around to it in recent years. especially since i think bayleef and meganium have much nicer designs

I’ve basically been dead as far as online presence and art is concerned, mostly due to keeping busy with life stuff. There is currently a recently spayed cat wearing a shirt in my house, I’m playing houseplant musical chairs, that kind of stuff.
