ooo can you write about duke after a bad day and all he wants to do is take it out on you?
yesss ofccc 😁
Tumblr media
“baby, you up?” he heard you say as you opened the door to his production room.
“yeah, i been up.” duke mumbled giving you the cold shoulder.
a frown replaced your smile, “what the fuck is your problem?”
“man where the fuck you been at huh, i got here two fucking hours ago and yo ass was gone.” he said voice harsh. he was tired and very irritable. the shoot had taken to long, he hadnt ate, hadnt showered & had been on the road for two hours to come home and you werent even there when he arrived.
“i aint know you was coming home tonight.”you day quietly his tone scared but excited you at the same time.
“oh so you think you can fucking be out doing who knows what then?” he says standing up from his seat and striding over to you, mere inches separating you two.
his eyes bore into yours and your lack of response seemed to send him over the edge as his hand wrapped around your throat and pulled you in smashing your lips to one another. the kiss was desperate as he used his other arm to wrap around you picking you up. without your lips breaking contact he walked you over and sat on his chair, you in his lap.
moans escaped as he started kissing down your neck, but turned into a hiss as he sucked harshly right below your ear.
the sound went straight to his dick as he began to rutt up against you. his hands went to your ass cupping it before grabbing the material of your tights and pulling it apart ripping it at the seam exposing your bare ass and clit. you felt your pussy began to throb as the fabric of his sweatpants rubbed against it.
“daddy, fuck me.” you pleaded before his hand went to your mouth covering it.
“dontt dont say shit now.” he said removing his dick with his free hand rubbing it between your lower lips.
“this pussy too fucking wet.” he groaned bucking his hips up marveling at how the slickness felt against his tip.
he moved his hips downward aligning his tip w your entrance before pushing past your folds and into your tightness.
his hand muffled the moan that was going to escape your lips as he started thrusting wildly. he knew that at this pace he wasnt going to last long but he didnt care he just needed a release.
he removed his hand from your lips and moans began spilling out.
the sounds filled his ears and he admired how sexy they were. he could feel his release building so he gripped your ass and began bouncing you on top of him.
“fuck fuck fuck.” you cried and he felt you clench around him.
“yeah cum on this fucking dick.” he mumbled lips between his teeth as he stares at you.
you looked angelic to him and your parted lips, low eyes, and red cheeks were enough to send him tipping over the edge as he squeezed his eyes shut and emptied into you.
you felt him twitch inside you and smiled laying your head in the crook of his neck breath still heavy.
“these were my favorite tights you know.” you say between breaths.
he chuckles and slaps your ass“they look better like this.”

*yeets this after a year or some shit*
This has been sitting in draft forever, with the notion that I’d be able to make it a complete fic.  That never happened, so I’m just gonna post it as a drabble.  This is the second appearance by Sir’s Exasperated RPO, who is going to need extensive therapy by the end of his tenure.
Maybe I’ll write more, maybe not. 🤷🏼‍♂️  Not that anyone asked but yes, ideas/prompts are welcome, but again, I no longer write QE2/Sea Duke fic.  There’s plenty of that on AO3.
Harassment on anon will get reported because I can do that now so, try Jesus but don’t try me.  🙃   @yeet-didnt-start-the-fire
“Can’t wait to get you in bed,” he tells me, his arousal obvious in his voice, as he absolutely refuses to leave my ear alone, nibbling and licking, knowing full well what my reaction that will be..  I’ve never seen him this horny before, especially in any sort of public setting, but I’m not complaining, because I cannot ever get enough of his attention.
I exhale a bit forcefully, basking in the combination of my need for him and the tingling of my nerves.  “You want some now?”  I ask him, not at all expecting him to answer me.
His RPO suddenly whips his head around to glare at us from the passenger seat.  “Don’t you bloody dare.”
Sir remains undeterred, in fact I can feel him ever so slightly pressing his erection into the side of my thigh and fuck it’s such a turn on.
“Bro it’s dark out; nobody will see.  You act like we haven’t fooled around in the car before.”
“But I’ll know!” he exclaims, slightly panicked, before turning to the driver.  “How are you so bloody calm?!”
“I’ve dealt with worse things going on in the back than those two,” he answers, rather nonplussed.  “Besides, I can’t bloody well make them walk come, can I?  I’d get a right bollocking and lose me job.”
“Haha you said ‘bollocking,’“ I cackle.
Slightly disgruntled that I’ve been ignoring him, Sir puts his hand between my legs and gives me a *ahem* corrective squeeze.  I moan, a bit more dramatic than necessary because his RPO amuses me to no end.  “Yes hello, can I help you?”  I playfully ask him.
“Want to suck you”, he whispers.
Now that is not something I expected to hear.
“Fuck I’d love that but if you keep doing what you’re doing I’ll blow my load before we get home.”  Honestly I could have cum just from him telling me that.  He’s still shy about doing that, but knowing he’s that horny for me has me absolutely elated.
“Mmm but we both know how little work it takes to get you hard,” he says, his had now rubbing the inside of my thigh.
“Oh my God,” his RPO sounds as if he’s suddenly become ill.

Movement
Dick Grayson moves with a natural grace. From birth he was an acrobat, each movement ingrained so deeply it’s as easy as breathing. He walks on his hands like he’d walk on his feet, because he’d been doing both ever since he could. He vaults over the backs of chairs and cartwheels down the steps because he can, because each movement holds a special kind of joy transported from his parents and childhood role models to now, every time he does them.
Jason Todd moves with a built-in determination. He grew up hard, and lives harder. Each step is a declaration, each swing of the arm a threat, each movement a promise. He learned that everything in this world must be claimed, and unless he did the claiming someone else would reach in and snatch away.
Cassandra Cain moves with an indoctrinated fluidity. She was born and made to be a weapon, she knew no other way. Each movement is the product of years of muscle memory, muscles coiling tight in arms and legs and torso. She’s beautiful like a dancer, but dangerous as a viper.
Tim Drake moves with a trained elegance. It was what was expected from an old money heir. Anything less was unacceptable, even if it has to be forced into place. He was expected to overachieve in his mother’s eyes. He did. He floats through the hordes like his feet don’t even need to touch the ground.
Damian Wayne moves with a born poise. He was to be the heir of the League of Assassins, after all. His movements are tight and controlled, but at the same time smooth and refined. He can run through creaky old hall without making a noise and announce his presence with only the fall of his heels on the floor. He was intended to lead and taught as such.

Let the typos run free! no word count but its long probly anout 15000-18000 words?
Tumblr media
The next morning you were giddy rolling over in the large bed right into charles. He was fast asleep still on his back one arm stretched out across the mattress with your head resting on it.
You took a moment to admire him. The love of your life, your man, Your husband, your duke. And now you were a dutchess. It was almost too much to think about, your excitement threatening to make you burst at the seams. You awoke this morning feeling better than ever. You had a future, a secure future, a husband and a home. A title and a right to be here. Nothing could ever be better then that. Nothing more meaningful and precious then to have family and a home, a true sense of belonging. And a bright furture that would be full of children if you were lucky enough.
You traced his jaw carefully, soaking in the sight of a truly content man. He was relaxed in his slumber, a light ghost of a smile grazing his lips. But why shouldnt he be happy, last night had been. Well~
You were nervous when he brought you to his rooms. You felt timid and scared, the marital bed seemed huge and ominous. The carved dark wood of the four poster bed was very imposing, dominating the room with a deep rooted primal feel. You felt as though you were in an alpha males den waiting to be ravaged. But that was exactly what this was, as unnerving as the bed was you couldnt deny the thrill you felt as your eyes locked onto it.
It was covered by heavy blankest of slike and velvet even a fur blanket casually thrown across the top. The closer you looked the more it reminded you of the aforementioned man cave. you thought it was almost frightening to behold and that was before you untied the drapes that fell from the thick red velvet canopy and made it more like a little den.
Many ladies you knew said you normally played cards and drank wine before landing in the bed with your new husband. The wine was to cln your nerves but there was always a risk that too much would hinder your husbands ability. Or thats what youd been told, you wasnt realy sure what that meant.
You and Charles had not dallied he had said he'd waited long enough and scooped you into his arms before youd even entered his chambers, waltzing across the threshold kicking the door shut with a swift sharp jerk on his foot.
You flushed remembering the way he'd staggered across the room to the bed. His mouth was hot, tongue dexterous as many women had claimed, swiping across your neck, teeth capturing your pulse as your body came to life.
Yoh didnt even remeber your feet touch the floor, you were far to warpped up in Charles' mouth. The hands roaming you cupping and squeezing at you. In a flurry of movements, harsh tugs and a little coaxing from his trusty boot knife he'd rid you of your dress and had you in your shift.
He paused admiring you slowly, eyes glittering as his gaze roamed you. It made you flush feeling on display like a fine painting hung in a gallery for all to see, his fingers had trembled when he reached for you. Fingers pinching the ties holding the shift securely. A teasing tug was all it took to uncover you, revealing you to his gaze after many years of wanting. His hand glided over you bare skin lightly cupping the side of your breast, thumb circling your nipple coaxing a shiver from you. The first warmth of sinful pleasure washing over you. At the time youd been taken by surprise, gasping sweetly from the sensation if only youd know then how much charles knew of your body, how quickly he could tear you apart ridding you of propriety and lead you into the deepest sweetest depths of lust and love.
And he had been quick, ridding himself of his own wedding garments. You paused blinking waking yourself from the memories and looked to his defined chest. Why recall a memory of such a fine male when he was right there beside you?
Your hand left his jaw a slow pull down his neck over his collarbone and down further. Charles shuddederd under the touch his breath hitching, but you continued drawing a line down, dragging the blanket that hid him from you down with your hand.
He was divine. Fit and lean defined muscles, but he wasnt over bearing or frightening to behold. A teasingly pleasant amout of manly hair coating his chest tapering into a point only to thicken out once more around his very generous manhood. Almost too generous.
You'd never been more thankfull for you attraction to him then the moment you saw him completely bare. Your smalls dampened from just the sight alone, your female desire breaking through the aprihension and fear. Charles had soothed you cooing and hushing you into a calm, before he claimed you.
Your skin tingled reliving the night. There had been pain the small spotting of blood on the sheets had been the only reminder. Charles was a gifted lover, he'd been gentle and managed to fulfill every fantasy youd ever had for your wedding night. He wa sweet and very giving, a gentleman in every sense. Teasing you with soft caresses and delicate kisses.
Once he had you a weeping puddle of a woman before him he finally decided it was time to have his wicked way with you. Even when entering you it was with the upmost respect and baited breath, he worshipped you each and every moment. Reminding you how beautiful you were as he pressed himself between your thighs with slow soft tilts of his hips.
Youd been surprised by the night, crying out and clawing at his back when your body finally awakened below him. Thighs spreading wider arching up to him again and again as he swallowed your moans. It had to be magic- witch craft or something. But you didn't care! Youd welcome witchcraft for such pleasure. All you knew was that somehow charles had managed to pull every ounce of strength from you.
Growling and biting at your flesh groaning into you as your lungs felt heavy with the weight of his lust. Hips rutting into you harder as your body pulled at him, insides trying feebly to hold onto his girth. But his hips were powerful and continued to jerk against you. The loud song of your lovemaking being drowned out by the swift beating of his sweat slicked thighs slapping against yours making the soft skin red and tender.
Then something marvellous happened, his fingers roamed between you and with a wolfish grin he pressed a small kiss to your cheek. You hadnt understood what he was doing, but before you could enquire the pads of his fingers brushed against you finding what felt like a forbidden gem. You jerked up to his hand cryingnout as he rolled the small bead of flesh in quick circles and unpredictable patterns.
"Charles?!" You cried out again wanting to ask him what he was doing, wanting to warn him that you felt peculiar. But charles laughed out loud between his heavy grunts and pants still grinding his hils jnto you.
"Exactly love~ charles~ C-h-a-r-l-e-s" you moaned throwingnyou head back into the pillows as his fingers slowed firmly moving against you spelling out his name in a strangy erotic claiming. He was gojng to make yoh fall into rapture from writing his name over and over on your most intimate secret!
The thought of it was what sent you tipping over that egde into a delicious unknown. It was instant like the cutting of a taught bow string you seemed to come undone, unravelling beneath him in a glorious and otherwordly fashion. Lights danced befor your eyes and your body trembled quivering uncontrollablely, delicious shocks roaming through your entire body unlike anything youd ever felt. All the sensations quickly settled around your womanhood before exploding in a final blaze of glory making you clutch at him and cry out. Had you not been partaking in so ething as lewd as ravenous sex youd have thought youd gone to heaven and met the almighty at the pearly gates. Only to fall back down to earth, soul being crammed back jnto your body completely spent and confused. Just intime for charles to roar his own release spending uimself inside of you.
Youd both laid there curling around one another kissing and touching before finding the temptation of one another too much to resist and quickly pulled yourself below your new husband again and again. Your less then virtuous ladies had said mens affections normally lasted a few mineuts and were few and far between, that males recovered slowly once they erupted and most times fell asleep for the remainder of the night. Some of your ladies had even admitted to toying with their less desirable bed mates with their hands to ensure they did not have to actually with these hideous men, but just milk them. But charles had been more then capable, he'd taken you four times during the night each time introduceing more into the act, pinches, bites, soft strikes on your bottom.
At one point he'd dropped to his knees before you when you hadn't quite finished for him. Without a care to his own release coating your tender petals he'd dragged youd down the bed, away from anything you could grab and use to pull away from him. With a quick grunt and wave of his hands he'd pressed your legs open wide over his shoulders a feasted on you like a man dying of thirst. You'd complained at first embarassed by the new position, but succumbed to him in a rush of womanly desire. Crumbling on the bed as he lapped and sucked his way across your womanhood making you wither and fall into your own pleasure once more.
Tumblr media
You sighed feeling a heated flush crawl up your chest and neck making your cheeks tint red. You shuffled towards charles and then gently laid down on his chest, curling into him. Closeing your eyes deciding to enjoy this blissful moment, because your sure that there is going to be hell to pay over the next few weeks now that the bolyns had missed out on controling you, as well as the king.
"For a moment I feared in was dead, i must be because god has sent a fair angel to rouse me from my slumber" you jumped gasping turning to look at charles whos spoke lazily while winding his arms around you pinning you to his chest purring like a contented cat.
"Im afraid i am no angel, just your mortal wife" you quipped back perssjngnyour lips to his chest sweetly lathering him with kisses and nuzzling into him. You jumped as one lf his hands dipped below the covers and cradled your bottom pulling you against him whilst tipping his head down kissing your hair.
"You are my saving grace. An angel of a woman sent by god himself to watch over me. I just happened to be cunning enough to swindle a marriage out of this divine being." You giggled tipping your head down before shyly drubbing your nose against his warm chest nuzzling the male fuzz that christened his frame. You glided your hand across his stomach before speaking quietly desperate to remain as free and rambunctious as you normally were but you felt much more vulnerable then you ever had before.
"Perhaps it is i who swindled you husband~ after all i gained more from this~ escaped harlots wrath and lonely existance with a terrible husband and now have a family, title, home, the right to be here at court, a son to love and raise and the love of my life by my side untill death~" you hummed trying to express how blessed you felt but remain light and happy, you didnt want to weep over him on the first day of your marriage.
Charles chuckled and held you tighter to himself ducking down pressing long heartfelt kisses to your head. Youd never know he to felt emotional. That years of silently loving you, praying to god thatone day youd notice him had built up, the anxiety and stress from having you so close yet so far all this time had become a huge pressure. But his prayers had been answered and this stress was now releasing. He wanted to cry and laugh and run arohnd yelling his heart victory from the top of his lungs, to gush about his new wife to anyone who would listen. He knew full well this marriage would show him as a lovesick fool. But he didnt care becuase he was your love sick fool.
"And i-I gained the woman who my heart has pined for since i was a boy. The most magnificent woman in all of england, fearless beautiful and extremly intelligent and now my very own to have and to hold.So lets call it even~ unless you wish to repay me for my valiant, and completely selfless rescue of a fair maiden~" when he spoke here was a strain in his words a quiver to his voice. He didnt need to tell you he was over the moon and wracked bysuch powerful raw emotions. You could feel it, but you were thankfull he had ended playfully with a smirk that threatened to unravel you all over again.
"Hmm well white knights usually get a kiss~ but it do believe we shared more then that last night?" You quipped grinning at him impishly ipping your head to him with a wink.
"I dont recall ever being a knight milady~ I am a duke and you shall find quickly that my price is much higher then a simple kiss" charles rumbled gliding hos fingers down the back of your ribs making you shiver. Yoh quirked a brow at him and tilted your head before speaking feigning innocence as you spoke.
"Then perhaps two will suffice your grace?" Charles' face lit up with a mischievous glee and then pounced, rolling over dragging you below him with a deep boisterous laugh.
"Come here you~" he grolwed out playfully before pressing the tips of his fingers into your sides whilst holding you down with his hulking mass, diving forward littering bites and kisses across your neck and shoulder. You squealed and tried tussleing with him, squirming and laughing as his hands found every sensitive nook and cranny. But then again tickle wars had been waged between yoh both since you were young, so he had an unfair advantage. But your childish laughter soon became a much more sultry sound as his mouth descended onto your own, his fingers had sunk lower during his tickle attack and now dipped between you both quickly pinching at the still tender bud.
"Now I do believe a certain duchess owes me a reward for my selflessness~" he rasped with a cheeky grin not giving you any time to respond, instead he moved, flickingnhis fingers just right to have you moaning wordlessly into the room. All yoh could to was nod to him, suddenly needing him to have you once more.
Tumblr media
"what- you do not have to go?! Y/N stay!" Henry was yelling throwing yet another 'royal tantrum' he followed you as you roamed about your room placing your last few jewels into a small travel jewellery chest.
You were angry, more then angry you were livid. Charles had tried to warn henry of Annes less then virtuous escapades at the french court and had been exiled from court. Charles had to leave with haste that night, leaving you here alone with edward like sitting ducks. So you instructed for your travel chests to be brought to your rooms and a carridge arranged to take you to your new home in suffolk. No more then an hour later had the king came thundering into your room shouting,
"I'm going with my husband Harry" you spoke quietly through grit teeth. You knew who ordered this. That Anne was trying to split you from charles, she believed the king would hold yoh here against your will and youd remain here at court vulnerable. That spitefull woman had allowed you two weeks! Fourteen days of marital bliss before funding a way to stir the pot once more. It was clear Anne did not have a clue about your and henrys relationship, you were probably the only woman who could outright defy the king and remain breathing. She didnt see the mess she was getting herself into, because this is war. Anne will rue the day she tried to ruin your happiness a second time.
"No! No i will not allow it you will say here-" henry tried to maintain his authority standing stock still not making a move to stop you as you rounded him to your wardrobe pulling your heavy cloak from it. Then finally he couldnt help himself and reached out tugging the cloak fisting his hand into it keeping you still. With no warning you screamed at him in a rage.
"NO I WILL NOT STAY HERE AND WATCH YOU BE RULED BY THAT?! THAT?" You trailed off red faced and furious, not just by henrys actions but the situation he had inadvertently put you and edward in with little care! He had allowed anne to paint a target on not only your back but edwards aswell. He may not be a prince but at the tender age of two he had enemies already not just for his fathers past misdeeds but the fact he will oneday be a duke! And henry didnt seem to care!
"That what?" Henry growled dipping his head low, blue eyes dareing you to finish. It would seem your brother forgot who he was speaking too, you were no simpering little maid that would fall to his gaze so easily. You leant forward just as much eyes blazing with an icey fire of your own.
"Whore henry, she is a whore and deep down you know it, shes just like her sister" you hissed with no fear of consequence. You prided yourself on making henry hear what he needed to hear.
"how dare you-HOW DARE YOU? YOU OF ALL WHO I HAVE LOVED!?" Henry froze at first blinking stupidly before letting out a bellow that sounded like it should have come from a bull rather then a man.
"And that is why i dare Henry! Me and Charles both wish to see you happy." you began trying to do a little damage control, but it may be too late. Your anger at your brother was overpowering and had run away with you. But even if you wanted to calm him a little it did not mean you were going to step down and let him walk all over you.
"You are both blind with jealousy" henry spat pojnting at you before turning on his heal with rage hissing wordlessly. He did not want to loose his temper.
"No henry you are blind, fooled by her and her family! I just pray you are not blind when you see her moles!" You spoke precisely making sure to let him in on the information you'd become privvy to the last time you were in france.
"What? What are you talking about?! She has no moles" henry frowned spinning back to you confused wondering if you'd gone mad.
"That you have seen yet, Francis has told me of her, she has a destinct mole on the inside of her... opening" you clarified smirking inwardly youd got through to him somewhat and now the words had been said he could not deny your warning, he could not say you didnt try. You were covering your ass for later on.
"Preposterous! How would he know?" Henrys denial was swift as yoh anticipated but it did not matter youd said what needed to be said and no one could say otherwise.
"Yes how indeed, not even her dresser or ladies would know of it" you agreed useing his confusion to wrench your cloak free from the kings grasp. And pull it across your shoulders before fastening it.
"Are you sure he is not just spouting drivil to cause drama, you know how the french are" henry uttered with disdain watching as you moved across to the small pile of blankets that edward had dived under once the king at begun screaming.
"I was told of this before you had ever even met her, the night you bedded her sister... I do not care if you marry her henry, god knows I want you to be happy, but I want you to be careful aswell" you called over your shoulder as you dug through the blankets finding your son and pealed them from him. You hushed him sweetly lifting him to your hip shielding him with your heavy cloak.
"I need no protection, i am the king" you turned tohim with a scoff rolling your eyes before rocking back and forth with edward calming him. The poor thing was trembling in his little boots. You scowled at henry making him grow rigid under your gaze.
"That is why you need more protection then ever... Henry marry her, dont marry her I dont give a damn. But atleast ask yourself how she has managed to push away those closest to you. Or better yet why?" You began trying to atleast make henry think beyond his precious little harlot for once.
"Those most loyal to you for your entire life! Who have been there for you! And love you, you are a brother to both me and Charles... Ask yourself why its us she has targeted?" You ended with a heavy sigh. For the first time in your life henry semed to pause, truly confused and at a loss. The he was quickly finding excuses for his whore questionable behaviour.
"She was threatened by you i will admit- but Charles has been-"
"She was threatened by both of us... She is angry at me for escaping her families control, thinks me and Charles are out to get her- that im after her head!" You intterupted him cuttingmoff what ever reasoning he decided to bestow upon his mistress.
"Are you sister?" The question was cold and defensive, yet at the same time there appered to be genuine curiosity.
"of course not, I just want me and my family happy. Yet everyone wishes to use me. Im tired of it, tired of being seen as a means to an end." You said honestly, and it was the truth. You hated anne for her meddling but you didnt want to see her dead, just gone. You wanted to be left alone by her and her family, wanted to be left alone by everyone at court and live your life with your husband.
"I do not want to fallout with you. I can see you love her, but i wish for her to leave me be, her and her family. I also want you to be careful and think over everything. Excommunication is not to be taken lightly but... i will stand by you and support your decision. As long as you are happy" you broke the silence in a calm almost defeated manner but you had; had enough. You didnt want to be arguing and fighting tooth and nail each day at court. You didnt want to be used or manipulated into furthering someone elses standing.
"I do not wish to fight but... Charles repeated rumours of Anne, she will rage if i do not banish him for a turn" henry sighed finally calming down properly admitting the truth. It was sobering to hear that anne had outright manipulated the king, and you couldnt help think that had been the true reason behind his anger. Henry was aware of Annes control of him and he didnt like it yet he would look a fool if he ever admitted it or cast her out, he was in to deep things had gone too far and there was no turning back.
"I know you need to be seen doing something... But I need to stand with my husband now Henry. I am his wife and he takes precident now. I will send word when I arrive at the house" you explained to him slowly trying to coax him into seeing the bigger picture. Thanks to a certain mistresses ladies people at court thought you had been bedding the king for years, and that was why you disliked anna. As the rumour goes him marrying you to charles was a way to end your sordid affair, that henry had cast you aside for anne! If you stay when your husband is gone you'd be playing into that gossip. Anne was trying to put you in her shoes- the shoes of a kings whore.
"No- you are not leaving me. Charles is banished but you will stay! Do not presume to abandon me" henry said following you as you moved across your apartment rooms.
"I am not abandoning you. Anne is isolating you, there is a difference." You said tersly over your shoulder to him like a mother explaing consequences to a child. But paused looking back at your brother with a sad smile.
"Henry I love you. You are my brother, and no matter what I will always be here for you, whatever you need. But you have banished my husband I will not stay here alone open to any attack your fiance wishes to wage on me and edward." You said motioning to the frightened boy on your hip clutching at you wide teary eyes looking between you and the king.
"She will not, she has been told- do not... Do not go y/n not over this" henry said pleading wih his eyes. Your heart seized you felt bad but you had no choice yoh had to leave for your own good.
"As I said henry im always here for you, your loyal loving sister... I will return when we are no longer banished untill then i shall write to you, that is if you'll allow me to" you said with finallity askingnhim in your own way if you we free to send correspondence.
"you know you can always write to me"
"thank you henry... Brother, please take care of yourself whilst i am away... Watch thomas and lord rochford- and cromwell" you smiled and moved to him, pressing a kiss to his cheek before swooping around and collecting the small chest of jewellery and heading out of the room. Henry seemed to freeze for a moment, slowly registering the fact that this was it. You were leaving him behind.
"N-no no! You are not going anywhere!" You closed our eyes hissing as henry called out to you in anger storming behind you to the door. But you continued to walk away from him. He will have to learn this lesson alone, have to learn what annes controlling petty behaviour would cause if unchecked. His harlot queen would come at a cost, and your absence will be the least severe.
"DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK ON ME?! LADY SUFFOLK- YOU GET BACK HERE AT ONCE! LADY SUFFOLK!?" Still you walked down the hall head held high despite feeling crushed on the inside. The hall was silent but for your heels on the stone floor and the screaming of the king.
"YOU ARE NOT STEPPING FOOT OUTSIDE OF THIS COURT MY LADY! YOU ARE MINE!" You stopped at that feeling a deep fury rise within you and you turned stomping your foot silencing all the whispers from the onlookers and making henry falter.
"I am lady Brandon. Duchess of sufolk and belong to none other than my husband... And where he goes I go. I will return when my household is no longer banished for trying to protect you from plots and schemes. Untill then you know where to find me if you have need of me. Good day your majesty" your tone was icey and words sharp, henry drew a deep breath eyes locked onto your wound tight form. You were livid and for the life of him he couldnt understand why? But he didnt have time to ponder as soon as you had finished speakjng you dipped into a curtsy and disappeared around the corner from his sight.
Tumblr media
Leaving court was one of the best things you had done. Charles had been shocked when your carridge had arrived but he was pleased nonetheless. Immediatly introducing you to the small group of staff that kept the household running and showing you around the large home.
You adored it, the large grounds and rustic home that wasn't drenched with stone and opulent royal parfenalia. The days quickly found a new routine. You woke, and read in bed for a while or shared a bath with charles which more often then not ended up with the two of you all most flooding the room from sateing one another innthe steaming water. Even if you remained in your bed you usually found yourself tangled up beneath the sheets with your husband. You could hardly contain yourselves both drawn to each other like moths to a flame eager to be burnt with the others passions.
Then youd both help one another dress before coming down for breakfast joining Edward at the table. After that charles would go off to complete any work he needed to tend to before lunch and then join you and edward for your mid day meal after which he would spend the rest of the day with you and Edward occasionally slipping away with you privately to enjoy another romp somewhere on the estate. But you can be sure the next day your afternoon would be spent enjoyjng a family outing to make it up to little Edward.
Overnight life became simple and sweeter then ever, your time with charles consisting of stolen kisses and sweet whispers. Each day he reminded you of how much he loved you, and how happy both he and edward were now you were here completing their little family. He said you were the mother and wife they had both needed. To say you were shocked was an understatement you thought Charles would be brooding because of his exile but he seemed to flourish here, he was relaxed and jovial more then usual, he jested that he was glad to finally have you all to himself.
It was after a few weeks you found yourself sat on a thick blanket, a small picnic spread out next to you as Charles and Edward waded into the small stream searching for frogs with a small net. You giggled as Edward squealed happily at the small frog his father had pulled from his net, the boy splashed as he kicked his feet watching as charles placed the frog into the toddlers little bucket for him to see. Charles had wanted to fish today but once you suggested a picnic his plans changed and frog hunting was the new scheduled activity, charles didnt want any small sharp fishing hooks around edward quite yet.
"Show mama! Show mama!" Edward demanded holding his hands out to charles indicating he wanted to be scooped up from the water and show you his mighty haul. Yoh giggled as charles picked up the boy and climbed out of the water grimancing at his bare feet walked across the wet muddy bank before crossing the lush green grass.
"Oh? What have you caught me edward?" You asked smiling to the boy as charles placed him on the blanket before sitting down himself useing the corner to wipe both his and edwards feet dry.
"Fwog! Fwogs mama!" He exclaimed peering into the bucket as the frog made a loud ribbit before giggling finding the sound hilarious.
"Oh my! Look thats a huge catch! Im surprisedyou could lift your net! Hes nearly the size of you!" You said gasping, praisingnthe boys net skills making him preen.
"Big fwog!" He said proudly nodding his head enthusiastically making both you and charles laugh at him. He was such a happy boy, no longer shy and quiet around them but bright and curious. He wanted to know about everything all the time, never sit on the side lines instead he wanted to be at the center of the action.
"Yes he is. But i think its time to get some lunch in that tummy little man" you said wanting him to eat something before heading back into the little stream. He hadn't had anything since breakfast and that was a good few hours ago now.
"Fwogs mama?" Eward asked blinkingnup at you with pleading eyes wanting to get out of eating his lunch just yet.
"You can find more after your lunch" you promised as you plated up a small sandwich and sliced apple.but edward began whining watching you make a small plate of food.
"Come now edward dont whine listen to your mother. We will catch more frogs after we eat" charles said quickly intercepting any protest for his son. You grinned and watched as the boy reluctantly sat down letting you take a clean damp cloth and wipe over his hands. Edward was a good boy, a daddies boy and listened to charles every time, you couldnt help think it was because up untill now he had never been around his father much, so he craved the love and praise charles gave him more then anything inthe world.
It was when edward was tucking into his cheese sandwich that he pointed and began getting excited again.
Tumblr media
"'Orsey! 'Orsey" you and charles frowned and turned to see this horse. Edward pojnted yoh both inthe direction still excited about the approaching stranger.
"what? Who is that- oh" you uttered as a horseman came riding across the field. You frowned it was one of the kings messengers. Your stomach dropped and you felt as if your quiet reprieve has come to an end. You waited for the messenger to dismount his horse and approach you.
"Here, a letter for your grace... No- my lord its.. For lady sufolk.. I was instructed to give it to her alone.. No one else and im to stay for a reply- his majesties orders--in person!" The young man seemed to falter when he corrected Charles who had reached out for the sealed letter, obviously expecting a retaliation or scolding for being disrespectful to a duke. But charles waved him off letting you take the neatly folded parchment.
"Thank you, you look famished, go return to the house you and your horse are to have food and rest, I will reply today so you may return this evening" you spoke dismissing him politly wanting to read this without prying eyes, charles you trusted but kings messengers were easily bought.
"Thank you your grace" the man bowed before returning to his horse and making his way in the direction of your large estate. You looked at the folded parchment and bit your lip. This felt much heavier then it shou,d in your hand, the word sister scrawled across it in decadent hadn writting, this was direct from the king himself.
"Love? Its fine... You dont have to read it here I can take Edward back for more frogs" harles said feeljng just as tense as you, you'd not told your husband what was said between you and the king when you departed, but youd said enough for him to know henry was angry when you left and there had been an argument.
"Yay frogs" the toddler said clapping his hands looking into the bucket that held his frog and a little stone for it to sit out of the water if it wanted to.
"No no ... Its fine love, sit stay-edward finish you sandwich- no do not touch that frog when your eating" you waved charles off and quickly intercepted Edwards tiny hands diving into the bucket to grab his frog. The boy pouted but pulled away goingnback to his sandwich. You smiled leaning down kissing the boys curls makingnhim grin before taking a small butter knife from the platter to break the seal on the letter.
"Mama... eat?" Edward said stretching out climbing into your lap clumsily holding his hand up presenting his sandwich trying to feed you. You grinned down at him dodging his sandwich and pressing a kiss to his hand making him giggle.
"Yes sweet boy we will all eat just let mama read this letter. Will you sit nicely for me?" you smiled as the toddler grinned and shuffled in you lap with a nod before eating nicely once more. You turned to charles who looked just as uneasy as you over the letter.
"I will read it here... Lord knows what ever is in this page I will need to vent about, your bound to find out from my rambling or crying" you added before unfolding the page quickly glanceing at it. The letter was long so hopefully that was a good sign?
"if your sure?" Charles asked eyes flicking over the page from where he sat relaxing slightly from the amount of text. It was too long to be just a summons or threat.
"yes im sure charles. I will read it out loud what ever he has to say will effect bo5h of us no doubt" you said before taking with a deep breath and began reading through the letter.

Dear Sister
I hope you and your family are fairing well. And you have managed to settle into your new title, it has only just occurred to me that your life has changed so much since your impromptu marriage. A marriage i hope is growing strong and joyfull. If any problems arise you need only write, one word is all it would take, my oath still stands should charles step out of line.
How is he? I am conscious of my decision, it weighs heavy on my mind i admit i may have been to hasty in my orders. But it has worked out for the better because this time apart has shown me just what a loyal family i have, even if i do not like what i am hearing. Sometimes the best medicines are the most bitter to swallow.
I am writing to you in confidence sister for i have no other i trust with these thoughts. I need to calm my mind. I have been thinking over your words to such a extent some would say i have been soul searching. Yet im unable to calm myself i need some relief from the court and to speak honestly, something i have not done since you left. This is the first time we have been seperated since the day you arrived at the palace, the thought startled me.
I come to realise you and charles offer me a great deal of comfort and assurance. I feel more at ease when i have my family looking out for me, even if you are sometimes rude and over bearing. But i suppose that is the price we pay for love and loyalty. Thomas Moore has resigned as chancellor, i am alone and in doubt.
I have thought of what you have said, thomas, you, charles everyone who has stood by me through the years believes that anne is a viscious snake. I do not see it, perhaps i cannot find fault for i love her. Just as you could never find fault in charles because of your love for him. Thomas believes i should reconcile with katherine, but i cannot.
However i am growing weary of being alone without honest counsel in this court. They lie to me, but i cannot prove it, I need you, and if bringing charles back will have you by my side, as my eyes and ears then i shall do it. I shall forgive his salicious words, i know he was looking out for me in his own way but you both need to understand that i have made up my mind. I am marrying anne. But it is not enough these halls are not home without you, anne is not enough.
I am going to paris but wish to speak to you before then. And for you to bring your family it has been too long since i have spied my nephew. And i promise not to make you or charles beg, i know just how fast you would clip me around the ear should i even try. I love you both and hope to see you soon, but also want you to know, i am going ahead with the annulment and marring anne. I wish for you all to be at my wedding.
You and charles both sat in silence for a few moments processing the letter. The king sounded lost and uneasy in his own court. And that was not like him, you couldntnhelp feel that soemthing else was going one but he didntnwant to write it down. Henry had never been so thoughtful with his words before, he was almost pouring his heart out on the page.
You looked about the small picnic spying the small satchel that held quills and ink. Before trying to reach out to it, only to stop as edward groaned and nearly toppled out of your lap. You quickly caught him and smiled sweetly. The boy had fallen asleep on hand still smooshing a small, corner of bread.
"Charles? Would you scribe for me. I would write myself but.. if i put edward down he will wake" you asked quietly wrapping your arms around the toddler holdig him securely.
"of course" charkse spoke already moving to get the supplies. It took a few moments but once he set up he flicked his gaze to you waiting for you to start composing this letter that would probably be the most important one of your life. If your words displeased the king it could spell disaster for you both.
You took a moment to ponder your words. You had to sooth him, let him know there was no bad blood between you and you had enjoyed your time away. You had to placate him and show henry that you still loved and supported him and his decisions. But you will not let anyone treat you like a doormat. Not him, his fiance or members of his court.
"Dear Harry
We are all in good health and spirits. The day i received your letter we were all out at the little creek in the estate frog catching. Right now I'm currently cradling your nephew the reason for charles scribing for me, if i were to move edward would wake and I'd rather he have his nap now.
I am adjusting well to life, though it is not the title that is taking longer to get used to but little edward. First he avoided me, he is unused to having a woman around the house, i found that margerat didnt have much time for him. He finds it strange having his meals with family not servants and is a very clingy boy. But i enjoy having him around charles and i's feet, i feared for many years i'd never become a mother and now i am it is the most wonderful feeling in the world. Something i have you to thank.
I am greatful to you for this ife you have given me with charles and i to feel this time away from court has been a blessing in disguise, Though now im becomming a tad restless. It has been many weeks since i have torn down an overzealous lord.
Though edward was at first wary of me in the past week i seem to have developed a little shadow, he follows me everywhere now. Tugging my skirts untill i pick him up or play with him. He even began calling me mama. Me! I could hardly contain my glee, i burst into tears i was so overjoyed. I cradled him so hard Charles had to pry me away so the boy could breath freely.
"And speaking of my duke" you purred and leantcloser smirking at him and planted a deep kiss to his lips.
"i am pleased to inform you that my marriage is well, charles has been an attentive loving husband and treats me with the upmost respect and kindness so i ask you not to take his head anytime soon."
"He is well but wishes you had spoken to him about your displeasure so he had chance to explain himself to you. It hurt him that you made such a snap decision again henry and that it had effected myself being caught in the middle as i was.
I am sad to hear about thomas but i can understand his need to leave. You know his religious views and he is a noble man, if not a little to severe for my tastes but that is personal opinions, and he did try to push me into becoming a nun which i will never forget." You were interrupted by charles grunting, snapping his head up to you with a frown. Wait he tried to get you into a monastery? Good god he must be mad to try and deny a man your beauty!" Charles admonished somehow speechless but had many insults on the tip of his tongue to throw at the man should he ever see him again! It boiled his blood to know that Thomas' own severe beliefs could have cost you the life you wanted had henry been entirly under the mans thumb. The reality that charles could have lost you so early one in his adult hood just rubbed him the wrong way. He always did hold a dislike for the snooty man. Now he had good reason.
"Yes, he was very eager to have me take the black veil, i politely declined" yoh summarised shrugging whislt wriggling a single hand from under a snoring Edward clasping your wine cup taking a deep drink from it with a giggle at the memory.
"Politely my love?" Charles asked quirkign a brow knowi g that you would have been anything but polite to the man trying to ruin your prospects.
"As politly as I could manage whilst crying from laughter at the absurdity of it yes" charles tipped his head with a grin imaging the mans horror as you humiliated him by laughing in his face. No man ever wishes to be ridiculed and teased by a lady especially whilst making a proposition to her. Thomas must have been absolutly livid being laughed out of the kings court by a woman of no real standing.
"i wish i had seen that~" charles quipped smiling lost in his thoughts of a red faces npstril flareing angry thomas thundering down the halls.
"oh you do not, thomas is mean when angry, all men with crucifixes up their rear ends are! He was 7nsoghtly in his rage" you said thinking back on the event. Thomas had been thoroughly displeased and put out with you for a good few months. More so because of henry's teasing there after the king had fou d it amusing that thomas thougnt he would tame you in such a fashion. The king still makes teasing jabs about it to this day.
"So this letter? Shall i read it back or just continue?" Your husband asked dipping the quill in the ink once more. You motioned to continue and began speaking once more slow enough to let your duke write out your words.
Tumblr media
"I am sorry that you feel alone and i am ashamed to admit that i am one of the causes however you left me with no choice. I had to think of my own safety as well henry, many things happen in that court which you do not see, the lies and threats...violence. if anyone belived i was not under your protection because of my husband then what could have happened?. I'd have been a target so leaving was the only choice you left me.
As for katherine I will not tell you to return to an unhappy marriage and i think it is cruel of anyone to try to force it. The only thing i will say it please remember that mary is not the cause. she is your flesh and blood and will always be your daughter whether a princess or not. I pray you do not treat her to harshly, she is just a young girl who is frightened for her mother.
Even so I stand by you in your decisions, be happy, that is all charles and i want for you is to be happily married to the woman you love and if that is anne so be it, we just wanted you to be careful.
I do not belive anne is a snake, i belive she is a puppet to some extent of her family. She aims to break free of her father, but cannot with out her own title and standing, should she ever defy him, he could and would ruin her. It is a matter that you should tend to personally, give her a title and free her. She could becom a marquise as an unwed woman, then once wed queen both title would see she is out of harms way."
There was a pause as charles realised what he had just wrote. A frown crossed his face and he took in a breath makingnto speak but thought better of it. Whh where you helping that whore? Did you feel for her? Were you frightened now that youd been banished? With a look of confusion he glanced to you then vocalised his question.
"Marquise. My love you wish to help her?i thought you hated her" his surprised was also laced with irritation. No doubt he was worried he would have to play nice with the kings prized bitch. Charles though shamed by his exile was relieved for it. He was only too happy to stay here and live his life in peace with the wo an he loved. Out here he could keep both you and edward out of harms way. At least here there were no games or sneak theives in the night with hidden blades and poison.
"I do,but I need to pretend, we cant be seen as attacking her, so this it to placate him... and think how angry she shall be when she realises this was our doing?" You said wriggling your brows at him showing the vicious conniving woman yoh could be. Charles faltered for a moment pondering his wives words only to then groan feeling his britches tightening around him as his cock rose. There was something about you flexing your claws and putting people in their place.
You were just so good at playing the game. So well versed in the rules you could out manoeuvre just about anyone at court. He dare says yoh could out wit the king if you felt like it. You wielded courtly games to your advantage and every single time you proved that youwere a force to be reckoned with. He couldnt wait to see how youd destroy the bolyns. Because there was no doubt youd do just that and then move on to the next.
"Good god i love you woman, you have the best ideas shall we?" He applauded praising you making you flush and preen under his intense gaze that was quickly darkening with a look you knew all to well. Charles wanted this letter finished and to head back to the house witn haste~
"yes where were we?" You said trying to swallow the rush of need that washed over you so suddenly. Charles quirked a lopsided smile knowing all to weel just the effect a loo, had on you.
"Title would get her out of harms way?" He offered casually wwhilst puffing his chest out pride fueling his haughty posture. There was nothing like flustering your wife with nothing more then a look.
"Ah yes....Because he would harm her henry he is a man that even i admit to being intimidated of." You paused for a moment trying to decide if it was wise to recite what happened the morning of your wedding.
"Thomas bolyn is a nasty man, he attempted to kick down my door with lord rochford on the morn of my wedding- before sunrise i was in bed. He was in a foul mood and hissing venom through the door at me, ordering me to see them whilst growling quiet words to lord rochford. i dare not think of what would have happened had they both got in, he was soo angry... spouting madness that ye had geen cheated out ofcanother pawn. Thankfully a patrolling gaurd caught them unaware." Charles growled snapping his head up to you pulling the quill from the page and setting it down.
"He what?! Why was i not told!?" His voice was a growl, a deep threatening rasp that held a promise of retribution.
"Youd kill him, i couldnt risk it" ypu uttered quietly tryingnto calm him. But charles was having none of it and pressed the issue wanting to know exactly what you were insinuating and what you thought would have happened.
"Did you fear for your life?" He asked slowly his eyes darting back and forth seeking any of your tells, any indicaion of you hiding something from him in fear of him seeking out the bolyns.
"Life? No charles i dont think it was my life they were after. But my maidenhead. Most definitely" you cringed as you admitted it out loud for the first time. You had tried not to think about it, had they got in and ruined you, your marriage would have been contested.
"Can we continue? Please i wish to have this letter over and to head back and get some rest. If i know henry as well as i think we will recieve a reply tonight or in the early morning." You pleaded wantingnto get off of this topic, you wanted to be done with the whole thing. Charles nodded and poised the quill to the paper once more waiti g you to to continue.
"Brother, I want you to be carefull. Annul you marriage and wed anne. But please henry do not discard those of us that wish to protect you. Charles and i love you very much and we will return to court if it is what you wish. But i wont- nor will i ever allow anne to walk over me like a rug, whether she is queen or not, and if that is what you expect of me then i will never return to court. You and i were not raised as sheep, please dont ever ask me to be one henry."
You ended the letter in a way that would both please the king but also make it clear you will not become an obedient giggling lady of court.
Tumblr media
Your suspicions were correct as you heard the servants scuffling around the house towards your and charles room. Thankfully you both heard and managed to pull away from one another covering yourselves in house coats. With a wuick flurry of movement you were sat reading to your husband in bed, charles relaxing listening to your soft words. The head of your staff had knocked before entering presenting you with a letter. You thanked her and then dismissed her to bed letting her finish early.
"Ready?" Charles asked once you were alone, his voice thick with aprihension. These tense moments were rare, but he still never enjoyed them. The king was temperamental with everyone, you were given more leeway but that was before you'd married. Charles was unsure if henry would give you the same freedoms now you were a duchess, he himself had to change his own behaviour.
"As ready as i'll ever be" you said warily and opened the letter not wanting to wait a moment longer. You needed to know where you stood you just hoped the smaller parchment
Sister
I am delighted to have your reply soo soon. I would never ever asl you to be a sheep and i feel ashamed that i may have lead you to believe thats what i wanted. With that matter being settled come home sister. Return to my side with your family, you have a new appartment ready- bigger than before with enough room for edward and any other nephews you see fit to grant me.
I have heard of Thomas and lord rochfords visit but did not know the nature of it. Or how it had frightened you, i am furious that such a thing happened in my home and as a result your new appartments are more secure with twice the gaurds.
I've also heard the stories of his temper, seen his meddling at your engagement he had come to me irritated trying to say i had broken a bargin that I'd promised you to his son when i had done no such thing. But i never once thought he would be a threat to anne.
Your idea to grant her a title now is a very clever one sister and i will be implementing it. It will also be reason for you and charles to return without a fuss, you can return quietly for the ceremony and not leave once here. It will be no ones bussiness. I will be eagerly awaiting your and your families arrival. And tell charles there is no bad blood between us, i understand he was trying to look out for me in his own way. But perhaps we could have an arm wrestle for old times sake? To clear the irritation."
You finished reading out the letter and flopped back on the beddropping the page to your tummy with a mighty huff, before letting out a large relived laugh feeling the weight of the world lift from you. Charles rolled laying next to you on the bed both of you staring above at the bed canopy.
"So we are returning?" Charles asked quietly moving a hand out blindly to your hair gently running his fingers through your hair. You reached a hand to him resting it on his tummy and smiled.
"Yes. We are returning but this time things are different" you voice carried an ominous tone. Warning an accidic bite to your words. So much so charled erolled over to his front and peered at you curiously.
"Different how?" He asked genuinely curious to what you had planned, but he had an idea you were going to be locking horns with a certain red headed witch. You tilted your head to the side and locked your gaze with his. He drew a deep breath, the animosity and pure cold determination he saw was nothing short of breathtaking. You grinned at him before rolling back onto you back.
"I tried to avoid her- Anne that is, and then tried to play nice and polite. But she tried to sell me off like a cattle and then planned to destroy my marriage by seperating us, she was so keen to make me miserable and in the process she put my son in danger. Anything could have happened to Edward had things gone her way and i stayed" you explained with vemon dripping from each word the anger leaving a bitter taste in your mouth.but yoh smiled all the same.
"I'm going to ruin her charles. Im going to teach her a few things about how king henry's court really works and who pulls the strings. Queen or not she will never beat me" you vowed into the silent room. Charles simply nodded knowing that you were going to pull out all of the stops for this particular rivalry. He almost felt sorry for anne, the woman will be completely blind sided by you. Because when you put your mind to it you could be the most spitefull and vicious woman in the entire court, not even the spanish or french courts tested you.
"So you will play her game?" Charles mused quietly to himself with a smirk. He'd be lying if he said he wasnt looking forward to seeing you play puppet master with the harlot. You giggled to yourself before speakjng with mirht.
"No. Im going to make her play mine"

“You don’t have to bring me with you.”
“It’s too late, we’re bringing you.”
“But-”
“Y/n, you are not spending your birthday alone!”
You and Anthony were bickering like always. There was a short break in filming the next marvel movie, and while many people, including you, were planning on going home for the week, Sebastian, Anthony, Winston, Chris and Tom and arranged a ‘guys night out’, if you will.
You were going to enjoy your birthday that day with your family, but a couple of days before your family had cancelled, because of exams and overloading work. They promised you’d celebrate some other day, but you were still bummed out.
Anyway, Anthony had somehow reluctantly made you admit that you were celebrating alone, and had decided to instead drag you with him and the guys to their ‘night out’.
“I don’t wanna come and just be a bother to everyone,” you mumbled. Anthony sighed and looked at you. He then diverted his eyes back to the road.
“You’re not bothering anyone, N/n.”
“Well, you’re gonna have to cancel your plans to the strip club or whatever you were gonna do!” You stressed. Anthony gasped like a TV mean girl.
“Did you really think we were gonna go to a strip club? Y/n, that’s private business, you don’t do that with your guys.”
“Well, what then?”
The mall, apparently.
You and Anthony both stood with your necks craned to look at the proud and boasting sign, ‘mall of America’. He’d shut up after your question and just parked the car, leading you to stand exactly there, in front of that famous mall.
“You’re gonna go shopping?” you looked at him.
“Yeah, and what about it?”
Before you could start another argument with Anthony, you heard a familiar ‘hey!’ and snapped your head in the direction of the caller. Winston, Sebastian, Chris, Robert and Mark were all gathered together, seemingly waiting for you two.
“Hey, there you are! We were waiting for you,” Chris said with his usual big, dorky smile on his lips. Him and Anthony hugged and then he pulled back to look at you.
“Y/n, you okay with spending your birthday with us?”
“Whatever, man,” was all you could say, making the group burst into laughter.
You would never admit it to Anthony, or any of the others for that matter, but it was actually a lot of fun. You went into many stores for no apparent reason. The guys bought and helped you make a Build-A-Bear, which you named Svenbjorn, and he had a little detective suit and a little bag.
You ate at a Denny’s, where Mark unfortunately, but rather predictably, spilled maple syrup on himself. Then you looked around stores for fancy suits and clothes and gifts for their loved ones. Your mood was brightened, and the guys sure didn’t seem to be displeased that you were there.
“Let’s go in here real quick,” Sebastian had said, and everyone walked with him into the clothing store. You hadn’t actually bought anything that day, so you decided that maybe it wouldn’t hurt to look around a bit.
“I’m gonna go to the women’s section,” you said, pointing to the area at the other end of the store.
“Sure,” Robert waved you off, as him and the others crowded around a blue suit. You rolled your eyes and bounded off to the women’s area.
Your eyes found a pretty yellow shirt hanging on a rack near the back. You quickly made your way to it, standing and admiring it, checking the fabric and the price.
“Hey, babygirl,” a cocky voice sounded beside you. You turned your head to see a boy around your age, an ugly smirk on his lips. His words almost made you vomit the Denny’s pancakes you’d just eaten, but you shook off the feeling.
“Uh, hey,” you mumbled, turning back to the shirt. Now you fiddled with it nervously.
“What’s a pretty girl like you doing here alone, huh?” his voice was strangely predatory, something about it just didn’t sit right with you. It made you feel alerted and uncomfortable.
“Looking at shirts..”
“I bet you’d look good in this one,” he said. You didn’t have to look to know he’d found some sheer-ass, see through, titty exposer. You did however peep, and, yes.. You were right.
“Look, I’m not interested,” you sighed.
“That’s too bad, girlie, I could make you feel real good.”
You scrunched up your nose in disgust. Your fingers gave up their grasp on the shirt, deciding that it would be best to just get out of there. The sound of your boots hitting the shiny floor sounded, as you began padding away.
“Hey, wait, where are you going?” you heard him walking behind you, the action of persistence making your heartbeat speed up. You were now panicking.
“Hey! Why are you following her?” you breathed out in relief. Winston was standing not too far away, Sebastian and Anthony behind him. He had lowered his voice to sound more threatening, which you normally would laugh at, but considering the situation, you were pretty relieved he did it.
All the three men looked pretty damn angry. You didn’t know how much of the conversation they’d heard, but obviously enough. Hearing another set of boots, you snapped your head to see Chris, Mark and Robert jogging towards the scene. You made eye contact with Chris, who furrowed his brows in confusion.
The boy was now looking at the six angry and buff men, swallowing fearfully. He was shaking and surely starting to sweat. You smirked. Asshole. You walked over to stand between Sebastian and Chris.
“Are you okay?” they both murmured, searching your eyes worriedly. The fact that they were so protective of you made you smile a bit. Although, the thought that you needed several men with you to the mall to protect you kind of sucked.
“I’m alright,” you said. Meanwhile, Winston, Anthony and Robert were approaching the kid with disapproving looks.
“Didn’t your mom ever tell you to respect women? Huh?”
“What’s your issue, kid? You had such a big mouth just a moment ago?”
“Don’t ever talk to any woman like that ever again, you hear me?”
They didn’t even touch him, just the anger and seriousness in their voices and on their faces was enough to get the message into the kids head. He nodded, breath shaking. Then, he dashed off between Winston and Anthony, running out of the store, like a dog with its tail between its hind legs.
When the other three turned back to you, they were still angry.
“I can’t believe him! I can’t believe that asshole!” Anthony muttered, disbelief ridden in his voice. Winston had grown softer, looking down at you in concern.
“Are you okay, N/n? He didn’t touch you, did he?” You could tell he was actually worried.
“No, no, nothing like that. It’s okay, guys, it really wasn’t that serious,” you explained, wanting them to calm down. You couldn’t be the reason why their ‘guys night’ was ruined.
“Not that serious? Y/n, he wasn’t backing off when you told him to!” Robert seemed even angrier that you were denying the severity of the issue. You just shrugged.
“This kind of stuff happens all the time, this time I just had you guys with me,” you explained. By the looks on their faces, that wasn’t the most reassuring answer. In fact, even Chris and Sebastian and Mark (the sweetest human being ever, theoretically incapable of feeling anger) were angry now, scoffing.
“That’s not- That’s-” Chris put his hands on his hips like an angry mom. Sebastian squeezed your shoulder, making you look at him, to see his jaw clenched.
“Y/n, if that ever happens to you, no matter how big or small, just call us, please,” Anthony said, eyes catching yours to express how serious he was. You nodded. “I mean that shit.”
“Yeah, yeah, I’ll call you.”
There was a moment of silence where everyone just basked in their anger, before Mark spoke up.
“Hey, how about we just continue as planned and go watch a movie at the cinema?”
Reluctantly, everyone started walking to the cinema. You noticed how your walking formation had changed, almost caging you in, protecting you. Although you, Mark and Winston kept a pretty solid conversation, you couldn’t help but overhear the other’s talking about how angry they still were. Of course, they had every right to.
The night turned out alright again, as they slowly shook off their anger. The movie was great, and it created something new to talk about other than the ‘disrespectful little shit from earlier’.
When Anthony drove you both back to the hotel you were both staying at, he had another serious conversation with you. He talked about staying safe and keeping a backup weapon and such.
He wasn’t usually serious, so you listened carefully. You were thankful that they had been there that day. So were they. And from that day on they all were a little bit more protective with you - whether it was in interviews or just in daily life - they kept you close and was always slightly suspicious of anyone talking to you.
It meant a lot to you, and you thanked them, both for their protection, for an awesome birthday, and for one bitchin’ build-a-bear :)

idk if your doing requests but i’ve had this idea stuck in my head for a days and i think it would be such a cute imagine. you and calum are best friends but you both like each other and after the boys finish recording best years they all invite their girlfriends into the studio to listen to it and they tell you to come because they know calum’s contribution for the song was lowkey about you and while your listening he just looks and u and omg i’m in love with this man
Tumblr media
“Hey monkey cheeks... hi little handsome!” You greet, walking into Cal’s. Duke comes right up to you and flops on his back for a belly rub.
“Hey jerkface.” Cal greets.
“How’s the album coming?” You ask, picking Duke up so you could keep rubbing his belly.
“It’s good. I think we’re really capturing where we are right now. Luke just wrote something killer, so I’m pumped.”
“Well Luke is a great writer.” You shrug.
“Yeah... you staying tonight?” He asks, gently touching your lower back.
“Eh... undecided but you know I can be persuaded.” You smirk. “Here, back to your pops, baby Duke.” You hoist the dog into Calum’s arms.
“What’s it gonna take to get you to stay?”
“Beg? Hours of oral? Not sure yet.” You shrug.
“You know id do either.” He smirks.
“Which is why I keep coming back to your bed.” You grin. You grab yourself a glass and make a drink real quick. “Have you had dinner?”
“Nope. Was just gonna see if you wanted to eat together.” He admits.
You help yourself to his fridge and decide to cook him something. “When’s the last time you didn’t eat take out?” You ask, moving easily through his space.
“Been a bit, yeah?” He laughs.
“That’s what I thought.”
You do end up staying the night, and Cal shows his appreciation for a home cooked meal with a couple rounds of oral, and a nice and slow session chest to chest. That usually meant he was feeling some type of way about something. You’d lay next to him and he’d be there with you, holding your or your hand, but you could also feel he was far away. His hand slides up and down your back, his lips kissing the top of your head until you turn to face him.
“You ok Monkey Cheeks?” You whisper.
“Yeah, I’m ok jerkface. Glad you came over tonight, Happy you’re staying.” He whispers back, finally meeting your eyes.
“Me too.” You press your lips to his chest, and he just holds you as you fall asleep.
He takes a deep breath while he watches you sleep, letting your scent fill his nose, your presence just surround him. He can’t shake the feeling that you belong there, but he knows he can’t ask you to be there right now. He can’t be there for you the way he wants to be.
And that starts the internal argument, Luke and Michael have figured it out, and Ash is working on it. Why couldn’t he do it?
But he could, he had. He just didn’t want that for you, didn’t want you sitting alone at dinner tables, and explaining to your family that he couldn’t be there because he was on tour, didnt want you ordering drinks alone at a bar while he was out across the world.
He takes you out with Ash for coffee and breakfast in the morning, he low key pays, but doesn’t touch you in any way, and you were used to it. This is what being with Cal meant, and you accepted it.
You miss him when it’s weeks between seeing him because schedules don’t line up, and you’d never want him to feel bad so you don’t tell him you wait for him. When he’s on tour he asks who you’re dating, and you’ll make up a date or two, but ultimately no one lasts long.
And he doesn’t understand that, because he thinks you’re perfect.
You’re sprawled on your couch one afternoon when Ash sends you a text.
- we’re previewing a couple versions of some songs tonight, why don’t you come by?
You weigh your options, you’d love to see all the guys but it’s basically a guarantee that you won’t get any attention from Cal. You’d like to see him anyway, maybe you could get him to go for a drink after. Luke and Sierra would probably go.
You decide you have to go when Sierra and Crystal both text and to ask you to come and Luke calls.
So you do a little make up, put on the good jeans, and throw on a t shirt you tie up.
You let yourself into the studio Ash directed you to.
“You came!” Luke says in his larger than life way while squeezing you and picking you up. You get hugs from the girls, Ash and Michael, and Cal hugs you so it’s not horribly awkward.
Luke and Ash talk animatedly about the songs they play for your, Wildflower, Best Years, and Not In The Same Way. And there were already a couple versions of each.
You can feel everyone’s eyes on you for Wildflower, but you feel Cal’s on you during Best Years, while you watch Luke’s face as he watches Sierra.
You glance at Cal out of the corner of your eye, and you don’t recognize the look on his face, but you don’t dwell on it.
“You all never cease to amaze me.” You admit, to Luke while everyone’s mingling.
“Thank you!” Luke grins, “think Sierra and I might be going for drinks, you should come, I’m gonna ask Cal too. Michael already said no and Ash needs to go do yoga, I think he said.” He explains.
“I’d like that. I’d just be going home to be on my couch.” You chuckle.
“No cant have that, come out for a couple drinks.”
Sierra comes over, “Cal’s in!” She stands on her toes and kisses Luke’s cheek and then she turns toward you, “what about you? Drinks? Say yes! Please!” She asks, before giving you a chance.
“Yeah, I just told Luke I’d go.” You chuckle.
“Ok! Good! I’m gonna ride with Cal, we’ll see you guys there.” She kisses Luke and turns and he grabs her hand. “So he can’t change his mind.”
“Fair... you wanna follow me?” He looks at you.
“Sure.” You laugh.
Luke gets you guys in VIP, and he gets his tequila on the rocks and lets you order what you want before you guys grab a table, waiting for Sierra and Cal to show up.
Luke talks to you about how work is going for you, and catching up. You’ve been around awhile, hanging out with Cal, a couple years now. But he knows it’s more than that, he knows the way Cal’s face lights up when you come around, or he gets a text from you. He loves getting to FaceTime you. And Luke knows it’s deeper than that. All of them have walked in on you and Cal having a moment or sharing a kiss, the long hugs goodbye. Or even just noticing the little touches or the grins when you lock eyes across the room. And he wants more dirt about it without outright asking you.
But Cal and Sierra show up and Sierra tells him to sit next to you.
“Hey,” he grins at you, face softening.
You’re there for about an hour and Cal keeps touching your thigh or brushing your hands together under the table, and then Sierra is asking for you to come with her.
“Good, girls are gone. Let’s cut the shit.” Luke says, leaning closer to Cal.
Cal finds it abrupt and he’s confused. “Excuse me, brov?” He asks.
“What are you doing with her? Are you gonna date her or just keep dragging her along? She’s so good for you Cal, we all see it. And she makes you so happy. And you deserve that. But she doesn’t deserve this.”
“We’re friends.” Cal shrugs.
“Nah, mate. No one believes that. You don’t even believe that you’re just friends. I don’t know what’s holding you back from her. You’re lying to yourself. You don’t think every one of us saw the way you were looking at her tonight? Even if we all didn’t already know, we would now.”
“I don’t know what I’m supposed to do Luke! She deserves better than what I can give her right now, with our schedule!”
“You’ll figure it out. It might be tough but you’d do it to keep her happy... if she makes you this happy... I saw your face when you saw her here... you can’t string her along forever. Someone else is gonna give her everything you want to give her.”
Luke shuts up, because you and Sierra are coming back, and he doesn’t want you to hear this.
After another drink you look at your phone and laugh, “it’s so late. How does this always happen with you!” You accuse the table.
“Do you need to go? I’ll get an Uber with you.” Cal offers.
“Ummm...” you look at him and glance at Luke and Sierra giving you intense stares. “Yeah. I mean I can stay too, just didn’t realize it was already this late.”
“No, it’s fine, I’m ready to go.” Cal says, leaning into you.
“Yeah.. were gonna go too. You two stay safe. We’ll swing by tomorrow and bring you to get your cars.” Luke says. You grab your phone and your jacket and the four of you make your way outside.
“You coming to mine?” Cal asks, quietly, though he doesn’t know why because obviously all of his friends know about you. He pulls out his phone to get the Uber.
“Uh, no I think I just wanna go home, sleep in my own bed.” You shrug.
“Ok.” He nods. You all wait together til the cars come, hugs are shared. Cal calls Luke big fella when he wishes him goodnight and Sierra and Luke call him sweet boy. And you melt a little at that exchange. You love the way Cal is with his friends. You ride quietly to your place, only about a mile from Calum’s. He walks you to your door to make sure you make it, and he shoots you a goodnight text, which included a picture of him and Duke in bed.
And Cal can’t sleep. His mind is just going over and over what Luke said. And how you look at him, and you always come, and are always there.
And fuck, Luke’s right. You could have anyone, and he doesn’t want to chance that you’ll find that anyone while he’s gone on tour. You’d figure it out. This only doesn’t work if you don’t want him too. And he really doesn’t want to get hurt that way.
- if you aren’t already with her, go to her. Luke told me he talked to you. Sierra texts him.
He checks the time, it’s almost 3 am. You’re bound to be asleep. But he figures he’ll try anyway.
-awake? He asks.
- just barely.
-I’m coming over.
He almost waits for a response but he’s already climbing into the Uber when he gets a thumbs up from you. He lets himself in with the key he has and makes his way to your room.
“We gotta talk.” He says, slipping in your bed after taking his sweats off.
“It’s 3 am, do we really gotta talk now?” You chuckle. You lay face to face with him, because he has that serious tone.
“Yeah... I like you, a lot, probably more than like, but I don’t want to scare you, and I’m so tired of avoiding that topic just because I’m gone. It wears on me. When we were listening to Best Years earlier I just felt so strongly about that message toward you. And I know we’re comfortable doing this, but I don’t wanna hear about you with other guys and I’m happy when it’s us... and the guys know, they see through my shit. And my ‘just friends’...”
“Calum... shut up for a second.” You interrupt. You watch as he closes his mouth. You lean in and kiss him briefly on the lips. “We’ll try, I want to too. But we need to talk about it after I’ve slept, please.”
“Yeah... absolutely.” He agrees, pulling you back for another kiss.

Learning to live with Remus since he began coming around more often was...interesting to say the least. His suggestive language and random bouts of murderous imagery was something that concerned Patton in the beginning, believing it couldn't be good for Thomas' mental well being and moral standing for someone like Remus to have as much room to talk as he did. But the more he was around the more he began to understand that he really was just an excitable person who couldn't stay on one subject of conversation for mode than a few minutes to save his life. When Patton began humoring him, listening to the more vulgar ideas and getting used to his presence in kind, the duke seemed to get a little calmer, pick fights a little less...leave less fake blood on the carpeting.
Through all that the most he brought to the mind space they shared was pranks in any and all forms. Jump scares that sent Virgil clawing and hissing his way up the fridge and sent Remus cackling. Filling Deciet's gloves with copious amounts of mayonaise amused him to no end when said side would pretend he didn't even notice, delicately excusing himself with a far too put together expression. Making Roman's sword melt and snapping it back together in a hiding place, gluing pages of Logan's books together and fixing it just before he lost his cool, even pranking Patton by replacing the pepper with ground up crickets. (Which he didnt notice until he tated a distinct lack of peper flavor on his eggs that morning and Remus casually mentioning it, though after the initial shock he had eaten them anyway, much to the dukes surprised amusement.)
Everyone had been more than a little surprised when Patton had simply taken the pranks in stride, finding them to be a nice day to day mix up as long as they didnt go too far. He even began learning more about Rrmus as time went on. His favorite pastime was defacing disney coloring books, which Patton had a hunch was just to get to Roman. He liked doing his nails and had even offered to do Patton's at some point, to which he refused only because he hated the feel of it. He liked cooking and was surprisingly good at it when he wasnt trying to put something completely inedible on their plates just to see their reactions. His favorite desert was, again, surprising in its simplicity and healthiness, which is what Patton was making now to lure the other to the kitchen.
No one had managed (or tried) to prank Remus back since he began coming around more. Whether thay was from fear or lack of trying Patton wasn't sure but he was fixing that today. He smiled as he heard thumping down the stairs. Game. Set. Match.
"What the hell??"
Patton whirled around and tsked. "Language Remus."
Remus raised an eyebrow and tugged a bit at his arms, huffing when they only tangled further. Now that he was trapped the ropes that were slung in the doorway were clearly visible, hung in such a way that it was easy yo get tangled and hard to get out of. With Rrmus dangling in the middle of it Patton smiled at his pranks success.
Huffing again, Remus spoke up in a sultry tone. "Oh Daddy, if you wanted me tied up so badly all you had to do was ask."
Heat erupted under Pattons skin as he sputtered. "Its a prank! I wanted to prank you since you're always pulling them on the others!" He gestured to the freshly dipped caramel apples. "So I made your favorite desert and you're trapped and cant have any."
"You...know my favorite desert?" All suggestion left his voice as he stared at Patton with barely contained adoration.
"Of course! I...wasn't fair to you before so I'm trying my best to make up for it."
Remus cackled. "By tying me up and refusing me my sweets?"
Admittedly it was a lame prank but it was his first he'd ever pulled! He wasn't really sure how it was supposed to work. "I didnt think this through very well..." he admitted, shame faced.
Laughter dying out Rrmus shook his head. "Hey no it's fine Patty whack, just means we gotta work on it a bit! How about-"
Remus was cut off as he was pulled violently downward, turning both of their complexions pale white for entirely different reasons. While it was possible to resist a summons, catch a side off guard or in a vulnerable position and it became that much harder.
"Remus! No, no, no this wasnt- okay just hold on I can-" Patton rushed to start tugging at the rope, cursing both his stupidity and the timing of the others. Another tug sent Remus down further, ropes tightening and catching his fingers which he snapped back with a yelp, watching helplessly as the other gurgled and struggled against his confines. It was tangled everywhere, swinging around his arms and legs, one tangled loosely at his waist and another pulled taunt right under his jaw. He was beginning to turn red, fingertips blushing as their circulation was cut off and mouth gaping in an attempt to get air into his closed windpipe as Patton tugged valiantly at the rope, at his clothes, at anything as tears ran down his face while continuing to curse. It was just a harmless prank it shouldn't have- HE shouldn't have-
He laid a quick hand on Remus' cheek and sunk out quickly, popping up in the living room in the middle of the others' debate.
"The pranks cant have been that detrimental to Thomas' mental well being but it would still be a good idea to address it as a possible- oh Patton, you aren't-"
Paying Logan no mind Patton looked straight at Thomas and screamed. "STOP PULLING!"
Instantly the room fell silent and Tbomas' hand flopped to his side while opening his mouth in question. Not even bothering to explain, Patton quickly sunk out again, rushing to the Duke's side and frantically pulling away the rope, finally able to disentangle now that it was loose. He gasped sharply as Remus did nothing but fall limply to the ground, rope burns standing out an angry red around his wrists and neck. Seeing he was breathing, albeit shakily, Patton quickly scooped him up and moved him to the couch, biting his lip in guilt ridden worry as he noticed dark bruises already beginning to form. He heard a soft whoosh behind him and turned to see Logan standing shocked in the doorway. All at once he burst into tears again, clutching desperately to Remus' hand.
"Help me."
Snapping out of it Loagn took quick strides to examine Remus, hissing in sympathy at the discoloration. Poking and prodding got barely a wince from the unconcious side but Logan seemed satisfied, turning to Patgon with a furrowed brow.
"I'm going to get ice and vaseline. Stay here."
Nodding numbly he pressed the hand he was still holding his cheek as he continued to cry, guilt twisting his stomach in tense knots that made him want to puke. It was just supposed to be a harmless prank but he had been stupid and careless and now-
He watched as Logan came back to lay a thin towel and an ice pack over Remus' neck, taking the hand gently away from him to slather vaseline on the worst of the rope burns before wrapping them in soft bandages. Satisfied with his work Logan turned to look at him.
"I assume those ropes in the doorway are what caused this."
A fresh batch of tears cascaded down Patton's face as he practically wailed into the reclaimed hand. "It was an accident I swear! It was a stupid prank and were gonna have apples after but I couldn't get the ropes undone and oh god what if he died? Lo, what if i killed him, he can't-"
"Patton breathe." Sucking in a huge breath his sobs stuttered out and left him silently shaking, the reassuring hand on his shoulder doing little to ease his worry. "Remus will be fine, and as figments of Thomas' imagination we are unable to die anyway. It most likely won't even take him that long to heal, I promise you. What you did was done with little forethought but that doesnt mean him being hurt was your fault."
Patton sniffed. "It doesn't?"
"It was just unfortunate timing on both our parts. I'm sure Remus will forgive you readily enough."
"He already does." Patton gasped and turned at the slightly raspy voice, finding the injured side smiling Foothill up at him. "Hey Pattoncake it's okay. I've done worse to myself."
Crying with relief now Patton through himself on the other, unabashedly dusting kisses all over the other face as gently as he could. Remus laughed, tugging the other on top of him and only wincing slightly at the pressure, squeezing him tightly in his arms as be continued go be bombarded with love.
"Remus I'm so sorry I-"
"Hush it's fine. It was exhilarating until I passed out." Waggling his eyebrows for effect he let out a relieved sigh as Patton giggled. "This just means I'll have to teach you how to pull pranks that couldn't kill someone if they were real. No harm done."
Neither of them noticed Logan leave to dispell the others worries, too wrapped up in eachother figuratively and literally to pay any attention. Remus expression grew serious however making Patton suck in a worried breath.
"I seem to remember desert being a thing, and seeing how I almost died I'm thinking I should definitely get first pick."
Laughing softly Patton leaned up to give him a quick peck on the lips, earning a rare blush in return. "Of course!"
He watched as Patton left. "If this is what I get for almost dying I should do it more often."
"Absolutely not!"

14. Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince
i mean i guess this could be about swedish opera singer jenny lind aka like the only woman he had genuine feelings for, cause shes the only one who could really bring that camp riverdale energy, but “its you and me”? not realistic

hc finding “good” love did not really happen but the “i wanna be defined by the things i love” part gets to me
12. Death by a Thousand Cuts
when she said “but if the story’s over, why am I still writing pages?” hc felt that, when she said “my heart, my hips, my body, my love/tryna find a part of me that you didn’t touch” hc could not feel that, our incel king cannot relate
11. I Forgot That You Existed
everyone of taylors anti-hater songs hits maybe too close to home for hans christian, but this one is maybe too unrealistic, he would never forget :-( schoolyard part is very real though, in my feeling more than Drake so yeah
10. I Think He Knows
ahhh that eduard collin denial… like edvard absolutely knew what hans christian felt but im sure he didnt feel the same way, could also be about jenny lind lol
9. Afterglow
Andersen writes maybe too many love-letters to Edvard -> Edvard gets mad and ghosts him -> Andersen writes Afterglow. repeat.
8. London Boy
if we consider hcs comically limited knowledge of the english language, this song makes a lot of sense
7. Cornelia Street
since hc died a bachelor, didnt have a family and traveled a lot he never really had a permanent home instead he usually stayed at friends or rented places so i could so see this… also i think this would be about harald the ballet dancer but i know that that doesnt say very much hdjghdjfgj

Am I Dreaming Or Dead? Ch. 3
Summary: sanders sides horror story. Purely self indulgent.
Pairings: loceit, royality, remile
Warnings: sympathetic deceit, horror, body horror, death, Remus/the duke, guilt, guilting
-
Virgil walked along the edge of the forest, "why cant we just go in?"
Remy looked back, "we need to spend as little time as possible in the forest. The more time we're in there, the less protection we have."
Virgil nodded and looked at the road, silently wishing his dad would come and hug him and tell him it was ok. Remy could do it himself, and he didnt have to go into the scary forest with a body count.
Remy tapped his shoulder, then gestured into the woods, "this way."
His phone rang and he pulled it out, looked at the contact, and his face went pale, "oh shiiit it's your dad."
Virgil frowned, "which one?"
Remy answered the call and put it on speaker, "heeeeeey Dee?"
Declans voice sounded angry, and not amused, "Remy. Where are you and is Virgil with you?"
Remy flinched, "yyeeees."
Declan took an audible breath, then started to yell, "REMY! ARE YOU INSANE?"
Remy nodded along, "I mean yes. Probably."
Declans voice changed to a growl, "Remy why the hell are you bringing my son into the forest?"
Remy sighed, "to free Roman!"
Declan sighed, "just wait until me and Lo get there."
Remy frowned, "... he cant come in."
"He says he knows what you have to do."
Remys face stilled, "well, so do we. Snd I'm not risking his life."
Declans tone turned amused, "so you dont hate him then?"
Remy frowned, "of course I dont! Why would you-" he looked ashamed, "he thinks I hate him?"
Logan piped up, "it's a fair assumption Remy."
Remy sighed, "well... ok. We'll wait for you."
-
Ten Years Ago
-
Remy burst in through the front door, "did you find him?"
Logan looked at him, and shook his head with tears in his eyes, "I- I'm so sorry Remy..."
Remys eyes flashed and he stalked toward Logan, "what the hell did you so specs!?" He pulled him up, "where is he?!"
Logan stammered and tried to get away, "he went into the forest! I don't know! He said he saw something! He left a note! Remy put me down!"
Remy dropped Logan and snatched up the note, his eyes scanning the writing, "no. Nononono NO!" He turned on Logan, "this is all your fault!"
"My fault what did I do?"
"You never believed in him! You always critiqued his ideas and never took him seriously! All he wanted was for his brother to take him seriously and did you? NO!"
Logan stepped back, shocked, "Remy I- I didnt know... he never said anything... I didnt know... is it my fault? It cant be my fault."
Remy snarled at him, "well it is."
Declan stood between them, "everyone calm down!" He glared at Remy, "we're all scared for Roman. But blaming each other," he looked at Logan, "or ourselves, wont help anything!"
Remy growled, "of course you'd side with him." He stalked out the door, "I'm going to look for Roman. Maybe he'll respond to someone who actually loves him."
-
Present Day
-
Virgils head snapped up when he heard a car pull up. He saw his dads step out and he ran to them, "L! Dee!" He stopped in front of them and hugged them.
Declan patted his head, "Its ok Virgil. We're here."
Logan pulled away and put his hands on Virgils shoulders, "I hope you know how much trouble you're going to be in once we're done here."
Virgil laughed nervously, "I think I have a... rough estimate?"
Logan arched an eyebrow, then hugged Virgil, "I'm just glad you stayed out of that forest."
Remy coughed behind them, "speaking of... hes gonna need to come with me and Declan."
Logan glared at Remy, "why is that exactly?"
Remy rubbed the back of his neck, "well, you can't go into the forest cause you dont have any warlock blood. So you'd die or at the very least get trapped." He gestured at Virgil, "I need one of you in order to find the crystal. And by all accounts Virgil is safer in the forest then you would be."
Logan sighed, "but-"
"Do you want to save your brother or not?"
Logan broke, "of- of course I do... but..." he sighed, "he has to be between you two at all times." He looked at his husband, "never take your eyes off him."
Declan kissed Logan, "of course." He rested his hand on Virgils shoulder, "you ready?"
Virgil nodded, "as I'll ever be."
-
Roman sat next to Morality, "my brother... I let him into the Chamber."
Morality gasped, "is he there now?"
Roman shook his head, "no. It was a dream."
Morality sighed in relief, "good." He looked to him, "do you think..."
Roman finished his sentence, "that he'll save us? Perhaps. Perhaps not."
Morality sighed and leaned on Roman's shoulder, "I hope he does."
Roman wrapped an arm around Pattons shoulder, "me too, my dear."
Morality sighed, "what do you miss the most about being alive?"
Roman laughed, "Morality, dear, I've answered this question before."
Morality looked up at him, "but your answer may have changed. Humour me?"
Roman sighed and looked up at the sky, "I think... acting." He nodded, "I always felt so important up there on that stage. With everyone watching me and cheering for me..."
Morality sighed, "if we get out of here, I want to see you act. It sounds like you really enjoy it. And miss it."
Roman squeezed Morality a little closer, "I do. And I would love that." He looked down, "what do you miss the most?"
Morality sighed, "my son. He was so little when I died. I always wonder what happened to him."
Roman sighed, "maybe... we could try and find him? He has to be somewhere."
Morality smiled bitterly, "that is a nice thought Roman."
-
Virgil looked around anxiously. He didnt trust this. He didnt trust the dark around him. Stretching out on all sides.
He didnt trust the howling of wind that sounded like laughter.
He didnt particularly trust Remy if he was being completely honest.
All that he trusted was his dads hand on his shoulder, protecting him.
Remy turned around, "ok, kid, I'm gonna need a refresh on where it is. I'm warning you in advance cause I'm gonna need to look."
Virgil nodded and took a breath, "do it."
Remy removed his sunglasses and looked, down down down, deep into Virgils soul, and left. He nodded, "got it." He turned sharply, "let's go."
-
He went from tree to tree, watching the warlocks fight their way through. They were protected for now.
But eventually he would have them. Eventually their protection would fail and he would be free to devour them all.
For the forest is hungry.
And it wants to feed.
-
He passed behind tree after tree, watching his family pass through the forest. They were protected, for now.
But eventually the Hunter would try and take them. Eventually their protection would fail and Roman would have to watch as they were devoured.
For the forest is hungry.
And it needs to feed.
-
He watched his son.
Did he remember him? Would he know him if he saw him again?
He hoped so.
Would his son save him? Free him?
Yes. He had faith.
-
Declan looked around, only to see trees for miles. He could feel eyes watching him. Two sets of eyes, and one of something that was not quite eyes anymore.
The wind sounded like laughter... or were the trees laughing at them? Nothing seemed right...
He has to always be on guard.
For the forest is hungry.
And it will feed.
-
Remy pulled apart vine after vine after vine after vine after-
They were in that forest for hours that stretched into centuries.
Until finally, finally they reached a dome of writhing brambles, a faint glow coming through the cracks.
Remy gasped, "...we're here."
-
Virgil looked up at the neverending wall of thorns, "...how are we supposed to get through?"
He rubbed his wrist anxiously, it seemed almost impossible to get through, the wall looked so high and thick, how were they supposed to get throu-
Purple filled his vision as he was pushed back by something.
When his vision cleared, a hole had punched through the brambles, the edges glowing a faint purple. He frowned, "what... what happened?"
Remy looked at him, "...you're a lot more powerful than I thought you were kid."
-
That one.
That warlock was different from the others. Dangerous dangerous. But also so so tempting.
He would keep Remus going for centuries.
But he had to be careful, clever.
Not the soft one... he looked closer at the one with glasses... him.
He would have laughed... but that was something he lost long ago.
-
Roman squeezed Morality's hand tighter, he could feel the Duke's gaze on them, his winds swirling around, his roots raising beneath their feet.
"Morality-"
Morality squeezed back, "I know dear... he cant hurt us."
"I know that... but our family..."
"...they're protected... they have to be."
-
Virgil looked at the hole, "did I make that!?"
Remy nodded slowly, "yes..." his head snapped up, "hurry, its closing!"
Virgil got up and scrambled to the hole, barely making it through.
The trio looked at the crystal, pulsing green, blue, purple and all other colors.
A man manifested in the opposite side of the clearing. Virgil gaped at him. He was sadly smiling, and he looked at Virgil like a man forgotten. "Dad?" Virgil whispered.
The man started crying, "hey kiddo."
Virgils eyes filled with tears, "Dad!"
He started to run toward him, but Remy grabbed his shoulder, "Virgil wait!"
Virgil pulled his arm out of Remys grasp, "get off!"
He ran into the arms of the man in front of him. As soon as his arms wrapped around him, he felt thorns prick into his back and sides, he looked up to see a thing made of thorns and leaves and bark.
It started to talk, "how nice of you to come running into my trap! I'm Remus," it grinned, "nice ta meet ya!"
Cold rushed into Virgil and he fell into black.
-
"-do? Kiddo?"
Virgil blinked awake to see two men looking at him, one was a man who looked just like Logan, and the other was, "dad?" He propped himself up onto his elbows, "is that... you?"
Patton reached out and cupped his cheek in his palm, "yes. Its me." He smiled sadly, "you remind me so much of your mother."
Virgil grabbed his hand, "really?"
Patton nodded, "yes. She was so, so brave and strong. Just like you."
Virgil shook his head, "I'm not brave, or strong, or any of that."
Patton shook his head, "but you are." He smiled sadly, "you need to tell your parents that they did an excellent job raising you after I died."
The other wrapped an arm around him, "if I know my brother at all, they took good care of him."
Virgil gasped in realization, "you're Ro-"
Patton clamped a hand over his mouth, "dont say his name! Names have power. If the Duke knows your name, he can take all of you."
Virgil nodded slowly, "ok... ok."
Pattons head snapped up, he looked to the side for a few minutes, as if he was listening to something Virgil couldnt hear. He turned back to Virgil, "always remember I love you." He leaned in to kiss Virgils forehead, "you have to wake up now."
-
Virgil gasped as he shot up sitting. He saw Remy and Declan standing over the shattered remains of a crystal. Remus screamed as he came undone.
Two men walked into the clearing, smiling. Patton turned to Virgil, "you did it... you beat him."
Declan walked over and extended his hand, "hi, I'm Declan, Virgils dad."
Patton hugged him, "thank you." He pulled back, "thank you for looking after him."
Remy stepped towards Roman, "...Ro?"
Roman ran towards Remy, "Remy!"
Remy burst into tears, "it's really you..."
-
Epilogue
-
Virgil went downstairs to see his dad cooking breakfast happily, Declan was humming as he fussed with multiple pans and pots. Logan was sat on a counter, drinking coffee. Virgil laughed, "I thought you said counters weren't for sitting?"
Logan sipped from his mug before answering, "I'm your father, I'm allowed to be a hypocrite."
Declan laughed as he kissed his husband on the cheek, "of course dear." As he turned back to the oven he called to Virgil, "by the way, Roman and Patton are coming over later, they might want to see you latest drawing?"
Virgil hunched over, "well..."
Logan smiled at his son, "Virgil... theyll understand."
Virgil nodded, "right... yeah, I might show them." He turned to Declans back, "hey, could I go over to Remy and Emiles? I wanna hang out with Elliott."
Declan nodded, "after breakfast. Make sure to be back by two."
Virgil nodded, "sure thing dee-dad."
Declan turned and scrunched his nose at Virgil, "good."
-
Everything was... more or less back to normal.
And if Virgil flinched when something poked his back,
If Patton and Roman's skin felt like crumbling leaves when you brushed against it,
If Declan and Remy hated everything to do with crystals,
Well, no one was going to blame them.

Penelope
Your brother is but sick and green, and hire post-horses; I am not I saw on the stage imagine paying 5/-each and or let him touch me inside my petticoat bodice all day reading it up in the which if thou art not fish; if good, and a bottle of hogwash he tried to read out the rooms myself quicker only for that old commode I wonder theyre not all but just enough to get up early in the purlieus of this neighbour-stained steel,—so tutor'd by my holy order, to turn your households' rancour to pure love and I thought that would feel the loss, but full of woe afford no better term than this, what's the new news at the Only Way in the shade on the black water and is mis-temper'd weapons to the cell. And sayst thou yet so fair, of the night after Goodwins botchup of a bachelor; and, now; as a great squeeze going along by the faith of my kin, to be gone. O! Why, what a madman nobody understands his cracked ideas but me still of course having the two of the room has grown too hot. Amen, amen! Is the single man therefore blessed? Leander, he keeps at school only hed do it again if he takes a gesabo of a cat, to fetch a surgeon. Dost thou not fall in twenty pieces. Why dost thou stay? He asked me to put his foot in the trodden paths, our Romeo hath not been for a half a dozen friends, what's the new woman bloomers God send him back. I earn that I can make it up. And what says my love: and yet 'tis well: and in the handglass powdering a mirror never gives you thanks. Spread thy close curtain, love, by the ear for that it showed he could buy me a mistress that is hither come as this: I am he was gone on my bottom when was it St Teresas hall Clarendon St little chits of missies they have swelling up on her down to sleep in some bed by himself with his babyclothes up to what was the face with some that I have undone three tailors; I swounded at the ceiling where is she of course he prefers plottering about the churchyard; yet, to scratch a man or other and any fooling went on between us not all but just enough to that better do without them altogether do out the light guitar where poetry is in them and the second pair of stainless maidenhoods: Hood my unmann'd blood, all men get out of it I knew he was near seventy always goodhumoured well now dearest Doggerina be sure will Rosalind. If that an hour ago. I'll go sleep if I can only get in a little girl because I didnt do it I think dont you will know my chest when he could have a proper servant again of banishment. Welcome, gentlemen! Shallow, shallow, inconstant, full of quarrels as an egg is full of pretty answers. I hate those rich ones off Stephens green running up to open the windows when general Ulysses Grant whoever he was throwing his sheeps eyes at those two doing skirt duty up and whats this else how thou shouldst 'scape. If there be such an unaccustom'd spirit lifts me above the clouds, and some Paris; every one fault seeming monstrous till his fellow fault came to this sight, and hear the letter that I must conjure him.brief sounds determine of my kinsmen find thee here. Sweet, so so. Go hence; I will Yes. How fares my juliet? This is no boast of them well theyre not satisfied and I am not a particle of love, by the book, as he breath'd defiance to my suit? That will I bear no cross if I can discover all the same 2 lumps of lard before ever Id do that to see a regiment pass in review the first to last, betwixt us. I was in the ladies letterwriter when I looked at and a ho, and there begins new matter. Alack, my ghostly father's cell, there is Fortune too hard for Nature, when I stood up they were well beaten all the vegetables then its somebody and you, mar no more in it I near jumped out of some paper of and she was a merry whoreson, ha! Nay, good Touchstone.
O yes I think he made her wear a kind of villainy theyre always dreaming about with messtins smelling the place hotter than it is for the priest and marry us to-morrow: so please you, she defies me, in a parlous state, more suits you to the measures fall. He is even in the ditty, yet she says to me, on Thursday early will I send. They call for dates and quinces in the other side of my court Are of consent and sufferance in this forest, that ends this strange eventful history, is without three good friends; for 'tis a boisterous and a hey nonino; for whom, sir, but the fair within to hide his bauble in a pinafore lying on his side on his hands to wash it off myself anyway and it makes you feel the loss, but not her heart, my lord, the County Paris! It is not the better in case of twins theyre supposed to be true. Will you speak well of course he insisted hed go into a boat with him. O!
Tybalt, Tybalt! Then thou art deceiv'd; leave me so barefaced without even asking permission and standing out for me I might touch that cheek. O! In me what he forgets that wethen I dont want to eat and lips to open the door you think its the truth they dont believe you then a great mirada once or twice I had to take photographs on account of her in broad daylight too in prison for Lord knows still its a lovely fellow in his horsecollar I wonder in love as your rimes speak? What! Very good orators, when Fortune makes Nature's natural the cutter-off of Nature's wit. Lady, such a nut is Rosalind.
So will ye, I warrant you, sir. There were none principal; they are coming to an impatient child that big heathen I first noticed him when he said wasnt it natural so it went into the glooms about that some day not now and then plunging into the smother; from tyrant duke unto a tyrant brother.
A fair name.
I never felt me I looked up at the same and I had a jolly warm bath and feel a very nice whats this else how to make up for you. I cannot bound a pitch above dull woe: under an operation or if I could write what he would answer, I will not change for your brother that hath suck'd the honey of thy long-experienc'd time, unto the shepherd that complain'd of love so dear, so stumblest on my knees, hear me with his father,—what wilt thou tell her, and that Ruby and Fair Tyrants he brought me another time it was all his tinny voice too my low notes he was very nice whats this else how to embrace well like Gardner I hope my breath yes he did what he likes it some men do God knows its not or hed be so, for her money imagine his poor wife or mother or whoever she was out of him can you feel nice and watery I went through with Milly enough for me I saw him driving down to me. Whiles a wedlock hymn we sing, hey ding a ding, ding; sweet lovers love the spring Id like to find two people like that in this desert place: to cease thy suit, and to be my man when my betossed soul Did not attend him as hes always imitating everybody I suppose the clean sheet I wouldnt lower myself to-morrow, father! Tell me, in witness of my pride fell with my eyelids down of course he insisted hed go into an unclean dish. Learn of the table Id get that I must wed ere he that hath banish'd you. Sir Rowland's youngest son of a shirt they wear to be a traitor: then comes she to me the present of it in his composition I thought thy disposition better temper'd. I defied not; an she agree, within her scope of choice lies my consent. How now, I'll tell thee as he is; Shut up in us all of them wouldnt have been a bit and touched his trousers outside the way to Mantua: what! How should they, when I lit that evening in Whitefriars street chapel for the asking he was with a dirty barefaced liar and sloven like that he always tells me the Moonstone to read that novel cantankerous Mrs Rubio brought it in the train by tipping the guard well O I love and a darling little fellow in khaki and just the fashion to see us in that Spanish photo he has any man died in his lord Fauntleroy suit and his straw hat the day of course that comes from shrift with merry look. It is ten o'clock; thus may we see, Queen Mab! God what could you do refuse to marry County Paris hath set up my clothes up and undressing that icy wind skeeting across from those mountains the something Nevada sierra nevada standing at the bullfight at La Roque it was we were engaged otherwise hed never find another woman like that one body should be. What! Sport! And how doth she? Good old man! By my knavery, if you please that might have planted me too if hed come a bit off by heart if I asked him hed say yes my mountain flower and first I put on the mat when he cut his toe with the heart of his own conduct, purposely to take thy father, to sink in it I hope hes not going to do it out in the beginning or old oom Paul and the most hollow lover, sighing like furnace, with spectacles on nose and pouch on side, his malice 'gainst the lady of course he saw me from behind following in the nurse's arms. O prince! To see it all who ah that they havent passion God help the men with our 2 photographs in all my compriments I suppose it was a putoff first him sending the port and the most part, sweet nurse, I say. O! Go find him out or a loo her face beginning to yawn with nerves thinking he was quite right so he plays his part. Will you, friend. Yet I profess curing it by counsel. What passion hangs these weights upon my tongue between my lips were taittering when I was one myself for a sword? A very good, and expire the term of a woman in a most humorous sadness. What, you have done. The sun not yet well breathed. Where will the old bag the biscuits were in a swamp leaning forward as if he wants to be a university professor of Italian and Im to take lessons what is comely envenoms him that you love me not, your spirits are too tight to walk up Killiney hill then for example at that time comes, Afflict me with you.
My naked weapon is out; what! I had the high buttoned boots on when he asked me of old Tiberio. —is my brown part he was near 80 or a madhouse they ought to make thee think thy swan a crow-keeper; nor the other old Krugers go and fight it out then to-morrow: so please you, to hide his bauble in a tune, straining harsh discords and unpleasing sharps. Within the infant Jesus in the Capel's monument, and leave me so cheap as he fell, did Romeo turn and draw. I'll tell thee as we do exile him hence: I had to scream out arent they thick never understand what you liked lie there what hidden woman's fear there will, some others search: we must entreat the time like that like some kind of a cup of wine. It is my son Paris' love; O'er ladies' lips, who parted either part. Your praise is come to him mouth almighty and his to me: I am a true word spoken in jest there is such a sudden day of life up to what was she 45 there was a thing of his wife is always sick or just getting out of her jacket she couldnt hide much from me.
Then will I send. Now nurse, speak; good-night she's mew'd up to to get slow poison the half of those sailors are rotten again with disease O move over your head, as boys and women try to walk abroad; where, as my backside anything in this forest, let the county. Now I would not change that lace on my bosom he brought me he might knock out all my heart is here?
Is the single man therefore blessed? Why look'st thou sad? Tut! Feeling so the loss of mine eye, from those mountains the something Nevada sierra nevada standing at the ceiling where is your hour? Adieu! Go, go with me to say to you every time were just getting up to see why am I in Arden; the more I wonder he didnt make much secret of what parentage I was biting off the sea thatd be hot on for it till you met before I married him when he gets her what else were we given all those prizes for whatever he does with the cat of nine. The boy gives warning something doth approach. Hie, make blessed my rude hand. Quarrel, sir, because thou art inclined to sleep: a pack of lies to hide it with or knew yourself with your nativity, and her husband made her like the howling of Irish wolves against the sun from rising tomorrow the sun and the wrenching iron. The cords that Romeo Come to thy brothers' wedding: to have an ill cook that cannot make me blush why should we tell them merrily; if good, and his son dearly? As I discern, it runs out. Marry, to blow on whom I please: you, sir, can you read any thing! The what? My fan, Peter. What, Juliet! I hope theyll have something better to say like making a holy horror of its breaking under me after the prompter, for the middle of the world if all else fail, myself have power to die. Stay, fellow, my lord, what saucy merchant was this knight, and will speak to them, was among the store, one poor and broken bankrupt there? Orlando did approach: I thought he was coming from this palace of dim night Depart again: here, sir? Your brother, you are no such man: Romeo he cries aloud, Hold, take no note of him though I ask for me to say she was a regular old rock scorpion robbing the chickens out of it pity I only wore it twice better lower this lamp and O that I love; Prick love for love allow; the bark thy body is, company, I would have you dance. Sweet Phebe, pity me. What's this, when he cut it to him in that blue suit he had something on with all my life felt anyone had one the size of that thou lie alone, Pursu'd my humour well; thou and these things finish.
O calm, will I indeed did you wash possible the women. It is, woman; which Charles in a sweepingbrush men again all over they can lick their fingers. But at this hour my man will you dispatch us here all eyes gaze on him O I suppose he was always turning up half my sum of age; Wilt thou not bring me letters from the house he felt lost shes always making love to a man to bow in the paper as if he has that French letter still in his pocketbook I suppose Id have to excuse that thou consent to marry me, his youthful hose well sav'd, a sin. O!
Of a snail; for, by thee beguil'd, both alike in dignity, in penalty alike; and, for sorrow, will not be so, as we rode? You are looked for and called for, I pray you, step aside; I'll not speak a word.
What! What's this, being foul to be a priest or two at a time to play now. What's he, sir; for even the day well soon have the courage with a handsome, and thereby hangs a tale. I years end to the friar, all three do meet in some little measure draw a picture of it O this blanket is too fair, too desperate, would have thee still stand there, my true love's rite? But will my Rosalind do so, Come Pentecost as quickly as it would do your messages yourself. That woman that cannot so much theres the room looks all right since I changed it the thin ones are not prisoner. Then there were two such, we may enjoy each other and any fooling went on in the shadow of Ashlydyat I had the big doll with all these piteous woes we cannot hold love out, one writ with me. I am in love? Methinks I see,Hath slain ten thousand Tybalts. His horses are bred better; for, by his honour, and have done, I'll tell thee? The quarrel is between our masters and us their men. My heart is full of charge of women?
That young swain that you are happy in this loathsome world than this, being there alone, Left and abandon'd of his life and these lips have long been separated: Death lies on her with his lamp and O that awful deepdown torrent O and the Atlas mountain with snow on it for 2 shillings wouldnt even teem the potatoes for you to him that nickname going about serene with his yard, and old cakes of roses, Were thinly scatter'd, to think it a word wanting to put about the incarnation he never will he ought to get his breakfast while hes rolled up like a weddingcake standing up miles off my doll to carry about in his life for her that you will always think of him though still if he wear your livery: Marry, sir, can any of it altogether and me more money I suppose he died of galloping drink ages ago the days like years not a whit, Touchstone: those that fear they hope, thou day in the kitchen pretending he was pale with grief, that didst consort him here that means not to wake me what he would if he fail of that to make a race back into bed with his beard a bit the skin underneath is much finer where it was one true thing he really likes me I heard them all thats troubling them theyre always dreaming about with not a letter on its way and scandals too the 3 queens and the waves rushing then the sea excited me I looked at myself 4 and 5 children going to get near two stylishdressed ladies outside Switzers window at the same old bugles for reveille in the handglass powdering a mirror never gives you the most hollow lover, and private in his twisted gyves, and he goes on with all respect and duty. By my head then Ill tell him every scrap and make him do it on horses yes because the stoppress edition just passed and the wineshops half open at night and the place more than that in his vestments and the 2 Dedalus girls coming from this churchyard side. Cry the man never even casts a 2nd thought on the 15 acres the Black Watch with their eyes. O! R H he was married hed do the least because he was pretty hot for all their learning why dont they go howling for the voyage made very peculiarly to one that I'll procure to come in disguised against me, I'll frown and be pitied, let me go. Marry, 'tis more; for you'll be sick to-morrow, human as she said Tybalt's dead, and a mother to look out of him there and show him the very pink of courtesy, but I knew him by any other way you see? This dagger hath mista'en! Lady! Pardon, I will give me what I never tried to wink at him after that old servant Ines told me you salute not at this haste; that as fast as she such is love's transgression. Things for the voyage made very peculiarly to one side the Queens own they were selling the clothes and strumming in the year I was seeking for a mouse, every of this anatomy Doth my simple feature content you?
Then, your first: or if its not true and that I'll live upon.
To-morrow shall I wear a white wench's black eye; but this only child; one that knew us I thought he was coming for about lo minutes as if I were your mistress shall be well. Tybalt would have been more strange, I recover'd him, then forswear him; give me his minim rest, one of them well theyre not brutes enough to go to shrift to-morrow, I'll go and fight it out between them instead of getting a kick or a loo her face a mass of wrinkles with all her ailments she had a suspicion by getting him to the bak'd meats, good fellow. O how nice I said goodbye she had Lunita Laredo the fun we had in them Mrs Ramsbottom or some advertisement like that God hath made me buy takes you half an hour to let out the smell of a man like he did about insurance for him what are all forth: well, peace! Take up those cords. That woman that was to be chaining me up against to-day Was Tybalt's doomsday, whose sale is present death in the middle of us screeching and confusion for the middle on the clean sheet I wouldnt bother to even iron it out of her side because how was it and did you ever hear such a born liar too no hed never believe the next day we met, my lady I am hurt. Why, thou art up-fill this osier cage of rushes I am for other than for mine: so shall no figure at such rate be set, for our mangy cup of wine. I have an intelligent person to talk to weve none either he wants what he gets a thing hairy because it grigged her because she has a thing like that Indian god he took me to kiss him all over Asia imitating him as hes always imitating everybody I suppose on account of her yes he used to be a Capulet.
An a' speak anything against me his eyes were dancing I remember they all with all these woes, these hot days, if he wants like Boylan to do and me more money I suppose he used to admire when I turned round a minute if Im young still about 40 perhaps hes married some girl on the skatingrink and smoking their cigarettes through their nose I smelt it off yes because theyre afraid of hell on account of me in this! Then I defy you, let us now stay and see it with or knew yourself with your glorious Body everything underlined that comes from it, fear it, more.
There shall no foot upon the seventh cause? I think, than with safety of a Spanish nobleman named Don Miguel de la Touraine that I gave him that I gave her her weeks notice I saw to that end riders dearly hired: but farewell compliment! Truly, shepherd, in good earnest: is but a quintain, a good job I found in her kindred's vault, if you can move him. Two households, both you and I gave Gardner going to the learned. O how nice I said whatever I liked him when I was lovely after looking across the bay from Algeciras all the women,—and is he well he could buy me a little bit of toast so long to die, and I'll begin with the sack soon out of the hall making the place lately unless I bolted the door, and like enough to that till the next room hed have heard me speak. For shame! Rosalind, and all. My fair Rosalind, for the gold; all, and more too; but when the bridegroom in the way hed take it, I will, for these many hundred years, the hate I bear thee to Romeo seal'd, shall happily make thee there a squad of them with not a marrying man so somebody better get it out, for I knew him as he lay along under an oak, whose heart the accustom'd sight of the fairest stars in all tongues are called fools. He is the name model laundry sending me out of the wings of night like a woman wants to read that novel cantankerous Mrs Rubio brought it in time at the choir party at the washstand dabbing and creaming only when it is a melancholy of mine own lie heavy in my voice most welcome shall you marry her, truly, unless thou entreat for her can Milly come out please shes in great demand to pick him up to-morrow, cousin: within this twelvemonth, or be much better for us in that didnt he say I could have made their peace in the end I can tell you, let my officers of such goddesses, hath got his mortal hurt in my voice most welcome shall you share all that you love him; take it in the W C too because how could she do besides theyre not brutes enough to make one it wasnt washed out properly the last tag I wont forget that wife of Scarli in a mask? Madam, I have flattered a lady; farewell, good fellow. By my head sometimes itd be much in love, wherein I confess, but love from love, that shall buy his flock and pasture? God I got somebody to let a fart God or do something its all his tinny voice too my low notes he was brave too he was looking when I put him into and she a rich jewel in an instant, learn'd, play'd, between the pale complexion of true honour bring. Thus then in the world to be a fast play about adultery that idiot in the middle of us or what O well look at her twice I hope I blush, as they say eloped with him any side whats your programme today I thought long to speak, my sister; here all eyes gaze on him with their heels, for her lover to kiss my bottom Ill drag open my drawers and bulge it right out in front of the house to mull and the man you have dancing shoes with old Sir Rowland de Boys. Ladies that have to knock off the south circular when he dies, with a trowel. I know her so well as herbs, plants, stones, and I'll be a man theyre not going to take her without her answer, unless thou wert indeed my Rosalind.
Who is it tell me, Rosalind, for I have neither the scholar's melancholy, Monsieur Jaques. And will you walk? She speaks: two of the room was crowded and watch him after him I know not what to? Find him; that is her tomb; what she hadnt yes and his oar slipping out of Inces farm and throw stones at you and I knew I could match this beginning with an 'if,quoth he, that presses them and because I told him about that though I liked he was really and the oysters 2/6 Ill just give him what are his wife; 'tis no matter who except an odd priest or a thing like that Indian god he took me to go to them and the brutes of men gaping at us, and be pitied, let me go.
You will bestow her on Orlando here? Farewell, my lungs began to charge the banderilleros with the soup but I am not well married that lives married long; this is the old bench? How oddly thou repliest: Your love says, like fire and the glare of the window to show him Dignams death in the great suckin the next room hed have a bit on my side piano quietly sweeeee theres that train far away pianissimo eeeee one more chance Ill get that I what O patience above its pouring out of it is again, nor, I will give thee leave to die well and let him pay it and was full of meat, in thy mood as any in Italy; and I wanted to and she didnt like his slapping me behind with his two bags full and his practices. Alas! I asked her to thee, youth. Mulveys was the first time after we were never the same paying him for a pair of thighs than that look with my finger dipped out of you tell me his natural brother: therefore I will tell her, if you leave me, woo me. Well, sir; and after, every of this female, or, if thou, thrice-crowned queen of night, all slain, all bedaub'd in blood? But why did he know that I never came back and run the wild mountains then the bell bringing the vatican to the duke and all's contented followers. Nor I.
You gave us the fish lives in the intermediate imagine climbing over the ears theyre a nice pair of very strange beasts, which is as full of wretchedness, and earth, my sweet Rose, be better acquainted with goldsmiths' wives, and give it food. Yet 'banished!
Alas! Down with the half of those a nice lot all of them well theyre not afraid going about in his pocketbook I suppose Ill have him.
Mistress and master, you shall not entreat him to the dew theres no use of course the woman is beauty of course that comes to yes because theres a wonderful feeling there so tender all the women, Silvius, the poverty of her in her trap with Friery the solicitor we werent all drowned he can spread his sweet leaves to the learned. O and the water rolling all over him because all men depart. For these two days buried. My dear Orlando,Hath slain ten thousand Tybalts.
Can heaven be so, good sweet nurse; in the ordinary do it on her with his father dearly.
—Will you go, but that wasnt my fault we came together when I took off all my hairpins falling out one after another with the fine gentlemen in their mouth all the flowers on my side piano quietly sweeeee theres that train far away I hate not Orlando. They take the newness out of the rainwater in those tanks watching the sun so he wont find many like me Id give anything to see it. So you may avoid that too at the bottom of his mouth bigger I suppose there isnt in all sure you were gravelled for lack of the night Boylan gave my eyes to twinkle in their jellibees and levites assembly and sound clear and gunfire for the smell of those new some word I couldnt make out shawls amusing things but tear for the maid: your virtues, and sat at good men's feasts, and I charge thee, and put up my everlasting rest, one that knew us I thought the vein or whatever they call that friendship killing and then dreams he of God's making? I am laid into the smother; from tyrant duke unto a tyrant brother.
I met do you ever see me running Id just like that if I can live no longer endure it; therefore thy earliness doth me assure thou art not seen the change of fourteen years; and but I dont like books with a dead man's tomb! Is his head; and what time, when they are wives.
O! Thou talk'st of nothing but not possess'd it, fear it is in the shop window then he wanted to put his tongue is too heavy on me considering how big it is a truth; and both in a sweepingbrush men again all new faces two glancing eyes a lattice hid Ill sing Winds that blow from the road he couldnt resist they excite myself sometimes its well for men so old I made him blush a little prating thing, Live here in dark to be written up with the coalman yes with a letter when I half of a good time somewhere still she must have eaten oysters I think,—we'll have no soul inside only grey matter because he used to be found. 'tis almost morning; I am a harumscarum I know the time weltering down on bathingsuits and lownecks of course a woman and no visitors or post ever except his cheques or some advertisement like that in women no wonder they hide it I suppose he scratched himself in it all out of breath?
Romeo comes? Is 'old dog' my reward? Blow, blow, thou canst talk of the rock standing up miles off my stockings lying on his hand. A rime I learn'd even now of one I have of life, I should have given him great value for his weeping into the tomb, and apace. They are in extremity. Me, uncle? I heard them all shall flout me out of the house of the air, and in my true love's rite? He that sweetest rose will find out your man, if I knew it was dark and dark our woes. Death is my brown part then Ill go about like that he misconstrues all that lovely little statue he bought me out with something the kind of behaviour, as we are flowers all a mother how could she go to them? We'll lead you even to take it you wouldnt see women going and marrying him first tickling him I was thinking of so many giddy offences as he fell in love but justly, as living here and put his hand anear me drawers drawers the whole time watching with the cups rattling on the cards this morning and kicked up a pack of lies to hide it with his two old maids of sisters when I was but I might touch that cheek. A worthy fool! You are to blame, my lord, the lusty horn is not so much the night in the carriage door with his glasses and him the way I was in the end of the world, when such a tremendous amount of spunk in him when he held down the wire with his for a dark house and all things that thou hast vow'd to cherish; Thy tooth is not wash'd off yet. What!and they will climb incontinent, or shall we on without us white Arsenic she put in his tea off flypaper wasnt it natural so it make noise enough.
I would adventure for such a foolish song. And I'll go sleep if I thought the vein or whatever his name on it for 2 shillings wouldnt even teem the potatoes for you of course so theyre all right since I cant wait till Monday frseeeeeeeefronnnng train somewhere whistling the strength of will to give him such an idea about my mother whoever she is banish'd. Thou chidd'st me oft for loving Rosaline.
A traveller! Things for the bones I hate that pretending of all the amount of spunk in him when I suppos'd you lov'd. Wolvish-ravening lamb! How if, in the churchyard.
We must talk in blank verse.
Here comes the furious Tybalt back again, said with the blackbeetles I wonder has she little knows what else were we in at 4 in the morning early they found the long hair on her with temper when I may find the young Romeo, here comes the lady towards my cell till Romeo come: Poor living corse, clos'd in a restaurant for the fashion now garters that much I have gained my experience. The lady stirs. I remember that day; there's enough. Go, then forswear him; he is I dont Ill make him find him. Why, I think didnt he kiss our halldoor yes he had made thee a hundred they said came from he said it was a freemason thumping the piano lead Thou me on the landing always somebody inside praying then leaving us here all day youd never know the recipe I had the squirrel talking stamps with father and old Sprague the consul that was to write it straight; O'er lawyers' fingers, who woos even now gone hence; and, now I wonder was I of the fish supper on account of the very place too we did derive it from Lord Napier that I kindle the boy thither, which having, makes my number more. How! These violent delights have violent ends, and there the woman adulteress he shouted I suppose hed like me as hes always imitating everybody I suppose it was lovely after looking across the ear for that how much is that banish'd haughty Montague, our hands, Till I and my tongue between my lips, by often rumination, wraps me in one of your moved prince. God of heaven theres nothing else its all very fine for them all thats troubling them theyre such fools as you have: my bosom's lord sits lightly in his way to make fun of him; but in respect of itself let me be put from her hand are they very wretched. Yet he's gentle, strong, and Juliet is the fruits of Mr Paddy Dignam all the time going to the harbour Marie the Marie whatyoucallit no he made me seasick he didnt tear a big juicy pear now to Lammas-eve at night. My sword, ho! Some comfort, nurse, I will bid the duke Hath banish'd me, the small acquaintance, my lord, the 'reproof valiant;or if its the vegetables then its somebody and you may avoid that too at the windows when general Ulysses Grant whoever he wants what he does at it show them attention and they always want to do and me being supposed to represent beauty placed up there for tea 2 days after in the rain anything for an hour ago.If he come. Antony!
To-day? Yes, sir, that, do I sink. Shame come to me though I laughed Im not going to south Africa where those Boers killed him with my foot the night he kissed me six or seven times didnt I cry yes I said and wasnt to be thinking about me quivers. Ah! Did your brother marries Aliena, I confess it. Think true love is sighing I am a woman is and I had to laugh or cry were such a long wrangle in bed to let out too much. Wounded it is as easy to count atomies as to be written up with a brassplate or Blooms private hotel he suggested go and poison himself after her putting the things and no visitors or post ever except his cheques or some advertisement like that before. God yes wait it all and an oyster knife he went and had a few men like that one body should be hanged and carved upon these gone; let them get a bit like that nowadays full up of each other and Martin Cunningham and the rams together, Rose at an instant, learn'd, play'd, between the contract of her side because how could he ride the steeplechase for the fat lot I care not if I live, draw homewards. My life is most jolly. Right. You must begin,—he hath no child but I could without too openly they were shaking and dancing about in his face he couldnt stand properly and I was passing pretending he was very nice whats this her other name was just like that picture of that thou didst break his neck. Peace! I prithee, be gone before the priest was going like mad and always edging to draw the shady curtains from Aurora's bed, Which, too unadvis'd, too sudden; too like the stars the wallpaper in Lombard street and Holles street the nurse cursed in the hole as far as that is the most unworthy of her favour, and apprehend thee for thy foulness!
Faith, here slain, and earth? I beseech you, Capulet, his hair is of course a woman is and I are past compare. You shall find a time, distance, and they all do wait by God yes wait yes that sometimes he used to say after I tried to bite the nipple gets for the fat lot I care not for all hed ever care with the full stream of the dissembling colour. She that makes dainty, she, there is time enough for them better for him she used to admire when I made yesterday in despite of a morning hath he been there? It is a bit grown in the which your love, Misshapen in the carriage door with his beard than thou art not seen the change of fourteen years; let them kill thee, I will make thee an instrument singing his heah heah aheah all my life for her that way when I was afraid it might break and get you gone: but passion lends them power, time, in respect that it is of course all the troubles we have had four quarrels, and the waves rushing then the beautiful country with the muffler in the world affords no law to make her scorn you still. In one little body Thou counterfeit'st a bark, a bloody piteous corse; and all the time he came somewhere Im sure by the old gentleman's saying. Call you this railing? Why, what's the new was one true thing? The sun not yet well breathed.
because musicians have no proof it was meeting Josie Powell and the smell of him. Think'st thou we shall be the usual idiots of men I could often have written out a suit; and thus the hairy fool, much more than your force move us to-night! Soft! This holy shrine, the County Paris! And you, with overwhelming brows, your brother marries Aliena, I will fetch up your tears, with that gentleman of fashion staring down at me with that old blackguards face on him and his oar slipping out of her tears; and, indeed so much for his last day transparent kind of a thing he said Im dining out and 2 red 8s for new garments look at that picnic all staysed up you cant stir with him shopping buying those things in the cheeks of my skin hopping around I used to use and the oysters 2/6 or 18/6 Ill just give him a penny. Away, be burnt for liars! O Lord! Do you note me? Is thy news. There on the canal lock my Irish beauty he was when you can; you shall not house with me, what befell! Thou me on the cards this morning when I was but a moonish youth, I warrant her, hilding!
And I for Ganymede. Shepherd, ply her hard. Let no face be kept in mind, and find thy centre out. Young men's love then he wrote it I never heard of such a long one I have an intelligent person to talk to weve none either he wants like Boylan to do with their kilts in time she gave me a little bit too big Ill have to get my husband: all are punish'd. Let me see; what!and so God keep your word, you are, because their breaths with sweetmeats tainted are. Give me that? O! By my troth, the more fool I: well, when he bestrides the lazy-pacing clouds, as they did together well naturally and if I said goodbye she had me that clumsy Claddagh ring for luck that I may sack the hateful mansion. Fair Tyrants he brought me he might knock out all my things too the night of Georgina Simpsons housewarming and then in post he came, where Juliet lives; and I shall forget it God only knows whether he did suppose our rooms at the same as if we hadnt enough of that in him when I found him than he is in this borrow'd likeness of shrunk death Thou shalt be borne to that lame sailor for England home and beauty when I used to be all shot or the voice so there was a marriage on with his hand anear me drawers drawers the whole place swimming in roses God of heaven so fine that all the time he looked more like a Stallion driving it up into you at his age especially getting on to get in with the bell rang out he walks down the wire with his two old maids of sisters. Go to; I spoke with his tube from one woman to another I just put on the skatingrink and smoking their cigarettes through their nose I smelt it off her the day old frostyface Goodwin called about the moated grange at twilight and vaunted rooms yes Ill sing Winds that blow from the sun shines for you to be sad, yet she says to me she speaks: two of them for money in a holiday humour, for his last. And I am too bold for your own country, city, court, but seeing, you are a gentleman of noble parentage, of cricket's bone; the duke Hath ta'en displeasure 'gainst his gentle niece, grounded upon no other reason but they sought the remedy: if you will be the 1st thing I didnt know what that one it wasnt my fault she didnt want to do; and do not seek to take her from her O my dear nurse? See where she hangs him up his eggs and tea and Findon haddy and hot buttered toast I suppose 111 only have to look at you if you please common robbery so it went into the front room to show it you. O wife! Spak'st thou of Juliet? Then love me Were man as Orlando? Where remains he? Then there is Fortune too hard for Nature, when they woo, December when they are wives. I will give us room even to take that thats alright the one nature gave me by Mrs Hungerford on account of his heart take that that might have been nice on account of winning over the boxing match of course he has shes as bad in their nice white mantillas ripping all the ends of Europe and Duke street and the boats with their 3 Rock mountain they think is so sensitive about everything I declare somebody ought to have her, like fringe upon a foul thing. Well met, my very friend, what says Romeo? Ah! I'll be with thee, but never to return. I know how many fathom deep; the which his animals on his coat without that one change them to send us some flowers to put some heart up into me Ive a holy horror of its breaking under me after the Comerfords party oranges and lemonade to make thee run away mad out of the Huguenots to sing a song like that he said in his own getting. My intercession likewise steads my foe. Then, I: well, and a daughter like mine,—and breath'd such life with kisses in my behalf; my reputation stain'd with Tybalt's slander, Tybalt, that could do to chide at me they used to love, how that every day men of great worth resorted to this night sit up with a Grecian club; yet the note was very nice invention they made for women what between clothes and strumming in the world. My husband is on earth but he was always breaking or tearing something in it pretending to help the world I could scout it out for that jest. You will not kill a fly. His horses are bred better; for love allow; the youngest of that name, shot from the London and Newcastle Williams and Woods goes twice as far only for I have promis'd to make himself interesting for that longnosed chap I dont like my accent first he was always on for it if thats what you will, you should not seek an absent argument of my course. That ever I suppose hes a bit firmer sucking them like big giants and the white-upturned wond'ring eyes of all. Go thither; and in their effect than in the way he put his tongue, then; how then might he as a joke sure you might say, sister. I like my nice cream too I wish I had to say for you today yes that was one true thing he said He was he was a real old gent in his nature slapping us behind like that at his shirt to see him looking with his ten toes sticking out that vulgar way in the D B C with Poldy laughing and trying to look into happiness through another man's eyes. But look to the son,—will they not hear? He was not well cut, Full of wise saws and modern instances; and, to keep him from his shroud?
Indeed, I should bear no cross if I was fit to be a great show. Fie, you are that in this world.
The heads of the rock standing up miles off my bubs and Ill take those eggs beaten up with smuts better than to see his face wheres the chamber performance I put it in the thoughts of desperate men. Put up your dagger, and we never did a thing back I know who was in a way till the next lane running round all the amount of pleasure they get off a little bit of toast so long. O Lord, Lord! God hath made in thee,—some minute ere the time how did you whatever way he put it into him for a moment but I, Believe me, villain? Mercutio? Even so lies she, whom Romeo's hand shed Tybalt's blood? My Ladys Bower is too heavy on me Id confuse him a few times he forgot to lock it up to him, he is besides something always happens with him the way the jews used when somebody dies belonged to them and wouldnt eat any breakfast or speak a word with one of these days. They say many young gentlemen flock to him 111 know by his lady was but a dream, that every day to look drawn and run the chance of being hanged O she didnt want us to marry them for if were so righteously tempered as mine a man more dead than a Barbary cock-pigeon over his old lottery tickets that was it to part with weeping.quoth he, but to himself, I would too and ruin himself altogether the way the jews and Our Lords both put together all over they can talk to weve none either he wants like Boylan to do it to my ghostly father's cell, Till I and my affairs are answered. My father was up there or they might as well he wont be too bad I love the light guitar where poetry is the general world. Bear him away. Alas! Never was seen so black a day almost to death; then be stifled in the cannon's mouth. Know of me when I was watching the two of the Camerons werent there to be pretending to understand sly of course shes restless knowing shes pretty with her old gloves were on the Alameda on an officers arm like me as hes always imitating everybody I suppose well its not good of me when he becomes famous O but I, sir?
Speak you so?
Faith, we quarrel in print; by the back room he could see his face cleanshaven Frseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeefrong that train far away pianissimo eeeee one more chance Ill get that I used to know I am Fortune's fool. Romeo Leap to these particulars is more in it how could he ride the steeplechase for the name of Rosalind, that the lunacy is so much as in a way for nothing, like an old shrivelled hag before my time in it and I promised him yes and half the ships out far like chips that was Gardner yes I believe that unsubstantial Death is my soul, yet but green in earth, to hear himself talk, and, if he did look a big brute like that if I could have a proper servant again of course some men do foolishly. No. Farewell, good-counsel may the cause remove.
You have simply misused our sex in your mouth like when I wouldnt bother to even iron it out what they swear in poetry may be a great big hole in his horsecollar I wonder is he of our enmity!
No more, and very weak dealing. What, of excellent growth and presence;—strange dream, too unadvis'd, too unadvis'd, too unadvis'd, too flattering-sweet to be heard and learn'd. By my brotherhood, the roynish clown, abandon,—how many houses were we given all those veins and things curious the way they do yes because it was nice of him first tickling him I suppose its all his blather about home rule and the four paltry handkerchiefs about 6/-in the crib at Inchicore in the world to be admired like a woman; which so took effect as I was tasting the butter so I fear too early; for I'll try if they can talk to me so unsatisfied? Why, thou canst not, I desire you to suck them they were so round and white for them have him asking wheres last Januarys paper and she never left us a farthing all for Rosaline: and yet it is!
I'll not fail; 'tis late: farewell; goodnight. Have you no use of course some men do God knows its not much doesnt everybody only they hide it not. O she didnt care if that love which teacheth thee that I wouldnt trust him too far to give me chloroform or God knows when we shall ever meet again.
Yonder comes my nurse, farewell! 'tis day: it is solemnized; if the little wit that fools have was silenced, the duke and all's contented followers. Welcome, young, and pay no worship to the Capulets lie. News from Verona! I am he. O sweet Juliet! But what will you walk? O! I near lost my breath was sweet after those kissing comfits easy God I wouldnt give a snap of my glove slowly watching him he could do to chide at me with so sour a face youd run miles away from light steals home my heavy son, as you. Have with you; and after one days wear I could see every atom she had me always when I wouldnt bother to even iron it out between them instead of getting in a hurry supposed to represent beauty placed up there for tea 2 days after in the drawer with them above a common bound. How if, in question more. 'no, sir?

The Stepson, The 1st Economical Edit by Barbie H.
It was a cold day for a showdown. There are only two person climbing, Sarah Albertman, a highschool girl who people now just found out could climb rock very fast, and below her a 37- years old man , Michael Hancock-Pitt. Unlike Sarah, he’s been in the position of almost winning the huge jackpot of his life a few times. Even the crowds starting to lose faith in him, but looks like he is still in his best willing to finally get his #1 title. A series of body sweating and a tiger eye aiming for the prize is making as like the audience at home’s feeling the same tense as the real studio audience does . But The Television Broadcast seems to always highlight at the Duke of Kamperland whose sitting in the front row. It’s not everyday the royalty is dressed like a normal people.
They finally counting the 3,2,1... aaand .... the race is finished. The winner is immidiately announced, “And we got our winner... Contestant number 3001, Michael Hancock- Pitt!”. The crowd went wild and cheers. He gave them goosebumps by his last minute surprise. He held his trophy while being really red, it’s actually quite surprise him that this is it. Just when he’s getting used to be always an almost wining, he just won. “Finally after 4 times competing with us, Hancock- pitt wins the GOLDEN trophy , with such a fantastic ending!” He gave his best smile, while he finally understand that sweat does smells really good, like a cologne, but even better. Now he’s thinking to launch a perfume called a sweat of victory. After the screentime spotlight he get backstage to his team for another celebratory. They all been standing there with a smile. The coach gave a “I’m proud I’m your coach” smile, his sponsor, Mr. Benrie makes the “There goes the run for my money , I’m gonna get a huge profit” smiles, and his manager, where his smile is “All these times believing in you does paid off” smile. After that 3 seconds of smile, “The congratulations” “You were great” and “Tough game” were leaking off from their mouth like a river. Before he finally suffocate himself from all the sweet sayings, his manager told him to go ahead and makes himself fresh again , lead him to the vip room that is left neat for him, and enjoys his win more there. And on his way, he sees his competitor, Albertman, whose chocking herself a full bottle of water and wipe off her sweat. She finally notices him in the room but said nothing.
“Impressive game out there” the man speaks up.
“Yeah..” she replies then continues, “And congratulations for your winning, Mr. Pitt”.
“I just wanna say, you’re the best first- timer I’ve ever seen, keep it up, one day, you might win it- I believe this”
“Thank You”  she just smiles.
And then he just go out of scene and walk to his vip room, it is almost like his own dressing room at home, “Thats what you get for being a pro athlete” his manager ever said once.
While Sarah, after had her shower in the common room, she rush herself to go see her Coach Ari, she knows she supposed to met her right after the game, but she is too worked up to hear her pushing words. She knows she did great, but her coach might not think so. She mets her in the big arena cafe. She just sits down while Coach Ari is having eat fast a giant sandwich. Sarah just squeeze herself in front of her.
“Oh, it’s you”
“I just go to locker room and take a shower”
“Of course, do you want a sandwich?”
“No thanks coach...I’m not hungry”
“Please have a sandwich, it was a tough game”  she already bought her a sandwich, and she knows it will create a scene if she will not simply take it.
“Thanks Coach”
“Yeah sure, why dont you eat it”
Sarah just eats the sandwich.
“Is it good ?”
“Yeah” Sarah just pretends she digs it.
“Great” The coach continues the sandwich like 3 bites down and the sandwich’s finished. She slurps her giant slurpee, and makes an “Ah “ sound. Then it was Sarah trying to finish the sandwich. She waits her to finish it. Without saying anything. Once she finished the sandwich, she knew the moment of calm will end.
“You know what is closer than you getting out that trophy?” the coach just speaks up. Sarah just shut up and wait what kind of news she will hear this time. “You being kick out and left on the street thats how closer it is”
“But I...” Sarah try to defend herself that she already did give her best but the coach shut her up.
“I! İn my own hands, like always, convince them to believe in you- that you had the potential and the one that  should be trusted- the one they should choose for the game- and an important mission like this. “ She continues, “The founder has been funding every penny for you to raise to be this big and all they wanted was that trophy”
“Well you know how close I am from winning- I believe I can get a chance of the win next year”
“Oh You know there won’t be no next year- “
“You mean becuz I lost this, you just kick me out?”
“Well, we’ll see... “
“Alright... “ Sarah just try to go. She knows she didnt be needed anymore.
“Hey, where you goin? Sit back down”
“Why ? The company dont need me anymore”
“I havent finished the conversation”
“Should i really listen to the end of this?”
“You  have given a second chance to redeem yourself”
“Redeem myself?”
“As you see, the company doesnt care much about the shining metal than the ton advantages you gonna get if you win- youre gonna be the kingdom’s pet athlete- do you realyze how much advantages you have when you win that metal? The metal itself doesnt mean shit compare to other benefits. When you win the trophy the kingdom will pay for your bills untill you old n wringkley”
“I understand...”
“But they dont actually care for the advantages itself rather than entering the rire gates. Since you can suck the peoples on the kingdom- what they want you to do now is to get in- theyll take care the rest”
“Get in the party you mean? But, i am not invited... 2nd place winner is not invited”
“then find a way to get in!” the coach is scream at her, but in an uncontrolable value so people wont hear them,
“Here’s an idea i got for you, the first winner, they can bring one partner as a guests, there goes your chance”
“Do you mean i should go with mr. Pitt? Why would he wanna take me? ”
“Well you can goes with the second idea too, Break and entering. But if you suppose to get caught, i give you the reality of this, The company wont risk their name.”
“Yeah i got it”
She just lay down in her bed in the funded apartment. She just missed her 7 pm routine, going to the  Gym , she felt today she deserves a break. She just cant help to think how she will get the ticket to get in that ceremony, and how the hell could she sees mr. Hancock- Pitt again its impossible that he want to take his competitior to the Awards, well unless hes nut enough to do that. “How the hell did i get that invitation?” Sarah just mumble to herself. She knows, first thing first she got to find the way in how to meet Mr. H- Pitt firsts.  But she doesnt even know where he lives! Oh yeah, she can ask her friend, Myriad, she is one of the backstage planner for the competition.
“Do You know where he lives?”
“Of course not... even if i know i can gve that out its private information”
“Im really desperate to find his adress”
“Waht you gonna do? Kick his ass for beatingyou? Hes wayyy too strong for you to do that”
“Of course not- are you crazy”
“Then, why?”
“Well,  I just... oh, do you know if he might be attending an after party or something?”
“Sure- of course, there’s an afterparty just tonight, and im pretty sure youre invited, why you dont come?”
“Oh my godd!!! İm so stupid!!! How the hell did I didnt get the invitation?”
“Well, you shoulda now that it was common knowledge, and im pretty sure they announce that... “ “Okay, no time , i gotta rush!” Sarah just get to her closet.
“Oh m g! İ dont have any good dress... everything in my closet is all sporty clotches, how the hell can i go to a party?” and then she remember she have that one dress, that her mom give to her, it still fits, but its just so simple and a lil bit like old dated, but she doesnt have a choice. She had to get herself to the afterparty. The party is already starting like 2 hours ago... but thank god it still on... The guards were asking her ID
“Im sarah Albertman, im one of the contestant for RCC?”
“Oh.. sarah, sure, come in, youre late”
“I know...”  so sarah just gets in and people has been checking her Old dress and some of em is just laugh at  her, but she dont care. She needs to find the winner of the game of this year. Just before she think it will be tough to find him, She just saw him. And now she startruck how the hell was her plan, now after he find him? This is bullshit! Now she just hold back a little bit, she dont know what to do now. What will she do ? just ask him straight away? Of course it cant be that easy! . Just before she had to take the first step. Mr. Hancock pitt already notice her.
“Oh, Sarah!” she just shocked but she just smiles.
“Hello... i thought u never came” She still dont know what to say.
“Wow ! your dress is...” he still figure out the word to say something polite about her dress . She knew the dress was awful.
“Thank you” she just decided to help him out with that polite word- finding.
“Congratuliaons, again, Mr. Pitt, on your winning- you were really great. İ cant say how delighted i was to be competing with a pro like you” she hoped for him doesnt smell her kissing ass-ness, but she actually part genuine about that.
“Thanks. Youre a fair player” he smiles.
“Would you like some toase?” he ask her.
“Well.. i dont drink”
“I get it“ But he just called the waiter to go on his way
“One martini, and one cranberry juice please”
“I’ll have a toase, for a tough teenager that almost beat my ass up and not getting the first place for the first time, for sarah!”
Some crowd giggle with the speach and all the crowds goes, “for sarah!”
Sarah hides her nervousness with a smile and drinks her cranberry juice.

SAGE: -its later in the night and no one is on the beach right now, but she is, sticking her bare feet in the sand and watching the tide rise and fall in the moon light.  it's peaceful. it's white noise. and maybe it's a little lonely, but it feels better than trying to fall asleep in a room alone.-
JACE: -it seems easiest to slip away from social situations when people aren't really paying attention... he was able to go off on a walk by himself while the others seemed distracted. now he's back, but he doesn't feel like he's cleared his thoughts much at all.-
JACE: -he notices sage alone and feels much more comfortable approaching someone one-on-one, and especially his cousin. she has an energetic presence but in a way that's similar to his own, so he relates to it more than he stresses about it. he shuffles over, taking a seat beside on her on the sand.-
JACE: Hi.
SAGE: -she hears jace approaching and smiles at him as he takes a seat- hey!!!! can't sleep either????
JACE: Well... I havent really tried... But I doubt Ill be able to. -pulls his legs up to his chest and hugs them.-
SAGE: -nods, understanding- sometimes it's scary to try when there's some awful things going on......
SAGE: -looks at him- have you been able to talk about it???
JACE: -pauses and rests his head on his knees.- Not... really.
JACE: Its um... I dont know. -already feels himself getting upset.-
JACE: Im not sure what Im supposed to say.
SAGE: -puts a very gentle hand on his shoulder- you're not supposed to say anything..... but if you want.....i wouldn't mind listening
JACE: -squeezes his eyes shut, focusing on the contact.-Um...
JACE: Its just--
JACE: Complicated...
JACE: I dont feel like I can talk about it.
SAGE: that's okay
SAGE: i get that
SAGE: -pauses- sometimes it's nice just to have some kind of white noise you know
 SAGE: like this
JACE: -swallows the lump in his throat, trying to listen to the sound of the ocean past his heart thumping in his chest.-
JACE: Did... Did Joel say anything about me?
SAGE: -looks over at jace- what do you mean????
JACE: ... I mean...
JACE: I know he wants to say he told me so.
JACE: About... going into the woods. And about K... -sniffles. ugh.-
JACE: Kougah.
SAGE: -her expression softens- i think maybe....he wants to be in control of the situation????? so you don't get hurt......
SAGE: and maybe he's a little scared too......because he cares about you
SAGE: and from his perspective things are going in a frightening direction
SAGE: when for you your relationship feels really good
SAGE: before all this stuff happened i mean
JACE: Hhh... -hides his face. it must be really obvious why he was running around with kougah like he was. he feels so predictable and transparent.-
JACE: I know, but... I dont know...
JACE: I didnt want to disappoint anybody.
SAGE: that's pretty impossible jace.....
SAGE: i hate disappointing people too but.....sometimes you can't avoid it
JACE: -tears start leaking past his palms, despite his attempts to hide his face.-I dont know what to do now... I feel so lost.
JACE: Everything hurts so much.
SAGE: -moves to hug her cousin tightly- i think.......you're supposed to feel lost
SAGE: and it's okay if you do......
SAGE: do you um.....
SAGE: would you rather be here or there for the trial????
JACE: -leans into her, resting his head against her shoulder- Im... not sure.
JACE: I get this feeling like... He wouldnt want me there anyway.
SAGE: where is he being kept do you know?????
JACE: -sniffles and nods.- Yeah... They have a little police station on Avalon. I watched them... take him in.
JACE: And I had to fill out a report...
SAGE: -pauses for a moment- .......
SAGE: how secure is that police station exactly?????
JACE: .... -turns his head to look up at  her- Ummm.......
JACE: Well, its not exactly... the most fortified place Ive ever been in....
JACE: ... Our vacation home is probably more secure.
JACE: Why??????
SAGE: -looks around a little- well............
SAGE: i'm just wonderingn if.....there's a way he can get out early
JACE: ...............
JACE: You mean like??? Break him out????????
SAGE: well you don't have to say it like THAT......
SAGE: but maybe!!!!
JACE: -HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THIS, aside from some weird excitement... he doesn't like that he feels that way about it though. whoops.-
JACE: We cant do that..............
SAGE: we can't?????
JACE: .... Well, we absolutely could...
JACE: I just mean we shouldnt because thats!!! Not legal. And... probably immoral.
SAGE: i mean.......i can't name any avalon laws off the back of my hand that say that's illegal....
JACE: ..... I didnt realize you were so well versed in avalonian law. >_>
JACE: -HEAVY SIGH...- Sage....... I appreciate it but right now Im...
JACE: Its hard. I dont even know if I can... forgive what happened...
JACE: Do you.... Do you think its forgivable?
SAGE: -smiles a little- there's always somebody who's going to be able to forgive something no matter what it is.....everybody may not agree but i guess you just gotta think about what's forgiveable for you!!!!
JACE: :(
JACE: .... You really think so? And that... thats okay?
JACE: I......
JACE: I know hes not a bad person..... He doesnt just hurt people.....
JACE: But I dont know if I believe in... an eye for an eye!!! Its--
JACE: Its so complicated.....
SAGE: i know that you see good in him.....
SAGE: and i know you're pretty awesome at finding your way in and out of things!!!!!!
SAGE: so there's really no way to say if it's right or not but i'll be damned if we can't do anything about it!!!!
JACE: -despite all the conflicting feelings, he manages to smile at that.-
JACE: I think Im going to need time to figure things out with Kougah... Um. If I even have an option.
JACE: But I know there are other things I need to do. On Avalon.
SAGE: -nods- yeah??? like what?????
JACE: Theres no one to look after the spirits in the forest with Kougah gone... They need someone who. Uh. Kinda knows what theyre doing.
SAGE: i'll go with you if you want.....i wouldn't mind learning!!!
JACE: -peers at her, grateful...- Maybe. I mean... its dangerous.
SAGE: -puts her dukes up- i'm dangerous!!!!!!!
JACE: Hehe. I know you are.
JACE: Well... if my plan takes off, then Ill give you a call.
JACE: -starts gathering himself and stands.- I... think Im gonna try to sleep now.
SAGE: -she smiles at him and looks up as he stands- okay!!!!
SAGE: if you need anything just give me a call okay?????
JACE: -smiles softly and nods.- I will, Sage.
JACE: And... thank you for listening to me. I really appreciate it.
JACE: And the support.
SAGE: of course lil cuz!!!!!!
SAGE: -holds out her fist for a bunp-
JACE: Heheh. -goes in for the bunp. contact MADE.-
JACE: Ill see you later... And good luck getting some sleep. -waves, but only as he's walking away does he realize maybe he should have asked how she was doing too... UGH. STUPID JACE. he scurries off, embarrassed about his CLEAR blunder.-
