god im really tempted to break my lease and move because i can actually afford a one bedroom and i'm so tired of my neighbor waking me up every night at midnight and not getting any sleep and also i can get a cat
but omg moving is so stressful and i dont like change and ahhhhh these next couple months are so busy and ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
however, not me mulling over how mon nearly abandoned her job and her marriage but somehow was persuaded to return to both. i mean, i don't blame her, she was only 16, but what was the straw that broke the camel's back? what was the reason why she returned?
Okay, so this isn’t really related to the larger parts of the season, but-
Can I just say I absolutely love how they introduced Callum’s dad?
Like, there are so many theories about him, that he was an elf, that he was a warrior who died, that he just up and left them, but in actuality? He was a poet. He was a poet with a sickness from birth and he died from that when Callum was young. He was kind and Sarai loved him. Harrow even respected him and I genuinely love that.
It also makes more sense that it would’ve been harder for Callum to connect with Harrow in the face of that. His dad wasn’t some warrior who died before he knew him, he wasn’t some elf that he never knew, or some deadbeat who left his mom. He was a kind heart poet who was born with a sickness that couldn’t be cured.
I am that type of guy who gets anxious over asking out video game characters haha, so it took ages for me to actually marry the digital book man despite maxing his heart soon after giving him the bouquet. Silly little art time to sooth my sick heart. Also decided to change up Wolfe's hair, just gonna say he cut it for their wedding.
Also sorry to Elliott my man, one of my cows gave birth the first night he was on the farm. I can imagine that would be something...
There’s something so raw about the image of Cardan with his sleeves rolled up washing the blood off Jude’s hands, after he’s ruined his velvet jacket to stop her bleeding. It’s one of the moments where we clearly see how much he cares for her. He wouldn’t let the guards touch her, despite—from his perspective—not having any way of knowing she wasn’t there to kill him. On top of that, he declares to the palace crowd that Jude is the rightful Queen of Elfhame, who is not in exile, stunning everyone. And then later tells Jude that he had been terrified, not of her but for her.
“It was terrifying,” he says, “watching you fall.”
“Mortals are fragile,” I say. “Not you,” he says in a way that sounds a little like a lament. “You never break.”
Jurdan are wild because they may not have been able to verbalise what they felt for each other, nor even admit it to themselves, but it showed through their actions anyway.
I'm a true believer that when Jason Todd is just attracted to someone, he's a very good smooth talker, like he would have anyone giggling and blushing in NO TIME... BUT if my boy is down bad, but really really bad, like he can't stop thinking about them 24/7, he's brain would turn into a puddle and he's just some huge massive guy stuttering a little or saying things that don't make sense or just being so SO awkward.
Like, AGH! you don't understand!!! I live for this and would stand by this until the day that I die.
HUEUEYEUYEYE THE DIFFERENCE IS KILLING MEEEEEE 😭😭😭😭 I know time passed before this meeting but. Still. I want to dig into the vault that has Asagiri's original plan with the chapter cover of their first meeting.
So the wildest thing happened where @mactheactor decided to dub over (if that's even the correct terminology) the Chaos Sonic animation I made!!!!
I'm still in utter awe about this like, hands down the coolest thing ever I've been thinking about this non-stop. Hope y'all enjoy it as much as I do!!
