Boom- Shizun at he rest bed 24/7, petting him, telling him he’s so brave, praising him. Binghe’d like to see that Bai Zhan thug take Shizun away now!

But eventually he heals…. And Shizun is spending time with that man again….. it’s not like he can jump off the peak again, that would be suspicious…

He tries being clumsier- minor injuries that heal quickly and Shizun will coo over and blow on and tell him how brave he’s being.

But eventually, the Bai Zhan thug limps back to the sect. He was trying to bag another smelly beast as a “gift” but he was stupid, of course.

But Shizun. Doesn’t leave his side. He sleeps by the brute’s bed, holding his hand, crying softly to himself until he wakes up. Binghe rarely sees him. The peak is so quiet.

This…. This can’t be what it was like… can it?
