THE SEASON 4 FINALE OUGHH PSYCHIC DAMAGE

this is the one woman house “accepts” and wilson acknowledges that it might be what breaks their usual cycle: wilson gets wife, eventually resents wife when they aren’t “needy” anymore, divorces wife, crashes at house’s, and cries on his shoulder while house acts dismissive rinse and repeat. wilson now has a partner that works with him (and is a “female proxy” of house but that’s a whole other conversation lol) and house isn’t constantly wrecking havoc on them. as bonnie puts it, he isn’t necessarily what causes the breakups, but he certainly doesn’t help. now it’s different and there is a real chance at their lives changing, maybe even for the better. mutual respect that was never present now is and while house definitely does nip at their ankles, house and amber totally agree on what wilson needs (the whole bed debacle amber and house had the same view on it). wilson could be free from their weird, co-dependant, and possessive relationship, but still have a relationship⁉️

THEN AMBER FUCKING DIES. Their one chance at again, breaking their destructive cycle, is gone. NOT ONLY THAT THOUGH. What gets me is that if amber hated him she wouldn’t have picked him up. The reason amber dies is because they chose to act differently. If amber had been like the others, she would lived because she’d never have picked up house. if she had been like the others though, then well… she’d have left wilson’s life eventually just like the others. house’s “im so sorry” works not only him genuinely expressing sympathy (which was VERY fun to watch btw) but also for everything that led to it. if he hadn’t made his little truce, if he wasn’t drinking alone because of his destructive coping mechanisms, if he hadn’t had amber as a fellow in the first place, literally if he hadn’t been who he was, amber could have lived.

EDIT: Also, amber herself saying “I shouldn’t have gotten on that bus” hurts more too cause it’s like yeah that would have saved her, but as i said earlier not finding house would’ve made her like the other wives. There was literally no way to avoid it. sorry amber but you had to get in that bus 😟.

so now what..? the cycle is definitely altered, as house now has a direct part to play in amber’s death (also just the fact that it’s a death), but it still continues. as upset as wilson will be with house, that really doesn’t change the fact that house is all he has, once again…

If you're still open to taking requests, could you possibly do one with an "enemies to lovers" and "hurt-comfort" tropes wherein reader and Jean are always arguing with each other (similar to the canon dynamic between Jean and Eren in the series), but Jean makes a remark that takes things too far and hurts the reader big-time so reader avoids him and Jean gradually realizes that he actually misses the reader.

your relationship with jean was complicated, to say the least. yea, you argued with each other but if anyone messes with you he'd beat their ass and the same goes for you with him.

you've been crushing on him for a while now but will you admit it? no. will you accept your friends' claims about him liking you back? no, obviously not.

this crush didn't come out of nowhere either, yes jean is very attractive but there are times when he's the nicest person to you. especially when you aren't feeling the best, he catches on to your emotions pretty quickly considering how close you two are.

like mentioned before it's complicated.

connie and sasha were giggling to themselves as they opened the pizza box you ordered. "honestly, why are you so annoying" you asked, "you only think i'm annoying cause i'm beating you in mario kart." he replied.

your eyes widened, "that's low, jean." connie said. "don't connie, i'm leaving." you said as you got your things. "c'mon, i didn't mean it like that" jean said, "yea, don't leave cause of him, please." sasha pleaded. "i'll text you when i get home." you said to sasha. and just like that you left.

"way to ruin the mood jean." connie remarked, "you better apologize."

it's been a week and you haven't talked to jean. and no, he hadn't even come to apologize to you.

honestly, he missed the banters or stupid fights you got with him a lot, and you missed him too but if what he said is what he really thinks then you're better off without him.

it got very awkward whenever you hung out with connie or sasha cause he's always there just looking at you, trying to say something but he just leaves, it's ridiculous.

so when he called you to "talk" right after your last class you agreed.

"uh, i'm sorry about last week. i wasn't thinking right." he said. "yea, you weren't" he chuckled at your comment. "i don't like seeing you get hurt by these people when there are plenty of guys who would treat you the right way, and we both know you aren't the problem, you're an amazing person, i just worded it the wrong way. i'm sorry, i missed you a lot this past week." he continued. his apology was genuine, you could tell.

"i accept your apology, but it still stings when the people you're closest to say stuff like that, y'know." you said, "i know, and i'm so sorry. i didn't mean what i said at all, i'll make it up to you, i swear." you nodded.

"jean, were you talking about yourself when you said 'plenty of guys who would treat you right'." you asked.

"... i mean, i know i'm not the nicest person but if you give me a chance, i swear i'll be the best. it's totally fine if you don't want to either, i don't want to pressure you, especially after what i said last week." he smiled.

Megumi, Megumi Fushiguro, the next heir to Zenin claim. Your best friend. He had known you all his life. So when he proposed the idea of a wedding, to secure his claim to heir. It wasn't his best choice, it was rather a decision forced on him, either you or some outsider ready to claw into his life. He asked you first. You complied. You understood where he came from, you knew if anything you’d have your best friend as your partner. Love comes and goes rite? At Least that's what you thought. And Love came, just it wasn't for him. 

You swore, nothing felt the same before you held that hand. “Marry me” he said once, “Lets run away” It felt as a distant memory, “I’ll keep you safe” his words echoed in the back of your head. His grandfather, silent until nwo watching this unfold, hearing the crowd breaking into hushed gossips, finally stood up. “What the hell do you think you're doing boy?” He roared violently, He would not become the laughing stalk bec hsi grandnephew decided to act out.

“This marriage’s canceled grandfather” Megumi looked him in the eyes, tongue unwavering. 

“You dare go against and make a fool out of me uh boy? Nothing is canceled-” His hand reached to grab your hair, and put you back in your place, when an unfamiliar voice interrupted.

“Alrite, oldies, let's get down” CHuuya stretched his fingers, before firing up the arahabaki. 

“Chuuya no'' You shouted across, to give him a heads up, it was a little too late, the entire ground flipped inside out, as if the earth opened its bounds to hell. WHat followed the jujutsu world wasn't ready to witness in all senses. 

Megumi quickly took you by hand, “cmon now” he gripped your hand and you both ran away. 

“Stop them” Noabito screamed, barely keeping it to himself, “Not so fast” Chuyaa smirked, as he made teh gravity fall 1000 fold heavier, not giving a window to let me expand their domains. 

That was teh last thing you saw, before the scenery turned and you found yourself amidst the forest. You looked at Megumi, still plastered in anger. “I still can't believe you’d hide you loved someone else-”

You held your head low, still not able to look him in the eye. “You care about me so much you’re an idiot” he scoffed, folding his arms.

“How did you know?” You ask.
