so first off from season one i'd recommend BIRTH as it's anthos first song and it has a cool mv ( bright flashing lights warning tho . . . ! ) and then my personal favorite Juliet :thumbs up emoji: tho STOP is a favorite of many i believe its very cool as well . . . and then shoutout to Antholic which is the song that got me into hanadoll HAHA

then the second season introduces louloudi so i'll give you a few from both them and anthos :3 from lld i personally really like Addictive Whispering and Butterfly Knife !!! then for anthos id rec Flash Point and Umbilical Lover :D !!

then finally for season three i have an obligation to recommend Mirage in Mirage as it is my favorite anthos song Ever. ohhhh man its so insane i love tokishun. <- the normaler . . . Fake Veil and RNPN are also very solid anthos songs . . . i really liked their songs this season !!! as for lld Hopeless Ark and Abortive Flower are wonderful i think . . . all their songs are so gorgeous ahhaksjdfkjsd

I don’t know why I thought it would be a good idea to convince Chris to watch Annabelle Comes Home with me, I couldn’t sit through any horror movie without screaming my head off like a little kid. Chris didn’t like them either but because of a stupid bet and neither of us never backing down from a challenge, we agreed to watch one.

“I bet you can’t sit through a whole horror movie without crying into my shoulder,” Chris challeneged, a daring look in his eye and I scoffed at him.

“I could say the same for you, scaredy-cat. You can’t even watch Coraline without pissing your pants,” I pointed an accusing finger at him and he gasped, throwing his hands to his chest dramatically.

“I was 9 when that happened. That does not count you asshole!” he retorted, shoving my shoulder in protest.

After an hour of arguing about who would get more scared, the bet was made. Whoever gets scared first loses and has to pay up the $20.

We sat down on Chris’s bed, the darkness of the room making the movie seem more eerie than usual, the only light being emitted from the TV. We were only 15 minutes into the movie and not much had happened yet but it didn’t stop my shoulders from tensing in anticipation.

“You’re so losing this bet,” Chris taunted me and I looked over to see him completely relaxed with a beanie on his head, covers over his torso and arms behind his head as he smirked at me, “You already look like you’re about to shit yourself.”

“I look like this when I watch any movie,” I lied through my teeth, holding my head high as I unwrapped my arms from around my legs, letting my knees fall away from my chest as I fiddled with the hem of Chris’s hoodie that I stole since I forgot my own.

“Mhm,” he hummed unconvincingly and I rolled my eyes, ignoring his taunts as my eyes focused back on the screen. I could feel his eyes burning into the side of my head as I continued waiting for a jumpscare at any given moment.

“It’s cheating if you’re just watching me the whole time and not the movie,” I mumbled, not looking away from the screen as I bit my lip nervously.

“Who’s gonna call you out when you get scared then?” he retorted quickly and I leaned my hand over his torso, smacking him in the chest causing him to let out a huff.

“Watch the goddamn movie, Christopher,” I grumbled, regretting my decision of agreeing to this bet in the first place. As the movie continued, I jumped at the small jumpscares and I heard Chris chuckle.

"You know you've already lost?" he asked rhetorically and I nodded, sliding into him as my fear started to show. With a snicker, he lifted his arm as I wrapped my arms around his torso, cuddling into his side to hide my face from the jumpscares of the movie.

"Why didn't we pick a movie without dolls? They're like my worst fear," I mumbled and Chris began tracing circles on my back with his thumb, distracting me from the movie slightly.

"Because I wanted to win," he said and I could hear the smile in his voice making me shake my head, a sour expression covering my face.

"You're an asshole," I mumbled, hiding my face in his hoodie when another jumpscare appeared on screen but I was now determined to get through the whole movie at the very least.

"You love me," he retorted, being unphased by the movie now that he was amused that he won the bet and I looked up at him, flicking his forehead with my finger before resuming my place on his chest.

"I hate you actually. This was not a fair movie to put on," I grumbled, my anxiety spiking as the movie progressively got more terrifying. Chris could sense my terror as he pulled me tighter against him and I yelped when another jumpscare appeared on the screen.

"Ali, we can turn it off if you want," he said softly and I stubbornly shook my head, eyes still trained on the screen.

"I want to get through the whole movie. There's only thirty minutes left," I announced and he hummed, an unsure tone behind the sound as I gripped onto his hoodie like he was going to slip away from me at any given moment.

The last 30 minutes of the movie felt like it lasted forever as I gripped onto Chris for dear life but soon enough the movie came to an end and I let out a breath of relief.

"Alright, twenty on my Venmo thanks," Chris ruffled my hair as I sat up before I swatted his hand away, annoyed that he was so amused by my fear as I frowned at him.

"I'm not going home," I deadpanned and his eyebrows furrowed, an amused smile on his lips.

"Why?" he questioned, adjusting his sweatpants before sitting up further and I knelt back onto my heels.

"Because I'll have a fucking panic attack if I sleep alone tonight. I'm gonna be seeing dolls all across my room for the next week!" I exclaimed and he shook his head, a smile plastered on his face still.

"You're so dramatic," he laughed and I let my body slump back further till my back hit the bed making me sigh loudly. My mind kept flashing of the jumpscares in the movie making my anxiety spike once again and I think Chris noticed because he leaned forward, placing a hand on my knee.

"This was such a bad idea," I mumbled, my breathing becoming more shallow the more I thought about it and I looked up to see Chris's demeanour change, now softening at my genuine fear.

"Come here," he opened his arms and I sat up before sliding forward on my stomach, placing my head on his stomach as he ran a hand through my hair to calm me, "It's okay. Nothing gonna hurt you. It's all made up, remember?"

"I know," I mumbled against his hoodie, the feeling of having him close to me bringing me a sense of calm again, "I just really hate horror movies."

"It wasn't fair to put Annabelle on. I'm sorry," he said softly making me look up to see an apologetic expression covering his face.

"Does that mean you will let me watch a movie with your biggest fear?" I asked with a smile and he gave me a confused look as I reached over him, grabbing the remote before flicking through the movies on Netflix.

I found one of my favourite movies, putting it on before Chris groaned, throwing his head back onto the headboard.

"Are you serious? Ten Things I Hate About You?" he groaned and I laughed, nodding as I looked up at him.

"You're biggest fear. A relationship," I twinkled my hands in front of his face, shaking my voice to make it sound more spooky and he swatted my hand away.

"You're lucky I feel bad for you right now or I'd knock you out," he threatened and I rolled my eyes in response, placing my head back on his stomach as his hand returned to my hair.

“I’m terrified,” I mumbled sarcastically as I smiled against the cloth of his hoodie and I practically hear him rolling his eyes.

He continued massaging my scalp and playing with my hair as I focused my attention on the movie instead of the terrifying thoughts in my head. Soon enough, Chris's soothing motions and the familiar movie sent me into a slumber as I held Chris against me closely.

WOW that was soo good??? what the hell. I mean it already looked good from the previews but still crazy to see it in action. I was a bit worried after how disappointing the mashle anime was, but UU is in much better hands god bless. really looking forward to see everything in motion, tho curious where it'll end since it's confirmed 2 cour. we'll have to get some more episodes to see at what speed they're going to have a better idea. but anyway, UU is very good and even if you don't read the manga the anime is really good so check it, just be warned the start is a bit crude with a bunch lewd stuff going on (like andy being naked most of the time) but it gets better and it's a really fun series, give it a shot

hey that was pretty good. I didn't know what to expect but it was nice. you can tell it was made for older audiences like that had said it'd be with them talking about some more mature topics and even saying stuff like the 2nd pic. anyway, no action or anything, it was just setting up (mostly) nozomi and rin a bit and hten meeting the rest of the cast. from the preview it doesn't seem like they'll transform on the next episode? so it'll prob be on ep 3. I just hope they have new cure forms as adults instead of transforming into their younger selves.

while this would've been a billion times better with traditional animation I gotta admit the cg models weren't as bad I expected, at least for the characters, there was some rougher looking ones for other stuff. however, I Am Not Immune To Idols and they got my ass, regardless of cg or not, so I can't complain much. I'll be very much looking forward to seeing my girls animated and this makes my expectations for the shinymas anime a lot better

Jujutsu Kaisen Ch1 - 238

where do I even start huh. I hadn't read jujutsu cause it started at the time where I wasn't really reading anything but I've always had a general idea of what's going on cause of other people talking about it. my goal is to be reading everything on jump so I was gonna get to it sooner or later but because it seems it's getting close to the end that turned out to be sooner, but anyway. from the first few chaps I could see why it became so popular, the art's really good and the interaction between the characters was fun, but I didn't think it was THAT good to warrant it's popularity. that is, until I got to shibuya. up until here the series had felt kinda weird to me, like it was aimless or there was a lack of stakes but the shibuya really put things in motion and it was well structured. ofc the main point of the arc was to get rid of gojo since akutami wrote himself into a corner with how op he made him but yknow (I'm a gojo supporter btw). after that came the culling game, which was my favourite part of the series, you could really tell akutami was in his element and having fun just writing creative fights, however I could see why people would be getting tired of it cause it went on for a WHILE, and by the time it moved on it felt like it was more of the editor making akutami do it then it moving on naturally but oh well. if akutami ever does a series after this I hope it'll just be like the culling game with him being able to spread his creative wings and go wild with strange power fights. now the culling game is over and we're in what feels like the final arc. gojo got unsealed and fought sukuna, in a very cool fight, and despite being a big gojo fan I was content with the result. before catching up it just felt like he got unsealed and then immediately was gone again but the fight went on for quite a while so it wasn't actually that bad. idk how our cast is gonna get out this pickle now, but I doubt they'd let the bad guys win in a jump series so they'll make it somehow. anyway, I gave it a provisory 8/10, but it might go up or down depending on how things go from here. OH also I forgot to say but.. yuji is not a very good protagonist, he grew on me over the series but he's still p weak compared to most other jump protags OH ALSO ALSO, my favourite character is maki, I always love the "character with no powers that's strong enough to go toe to toe with the super powered people" trope, like rock lee or kenpachi, and she is that and I really liked her path until she got where she is

Kill Blue Ch24

haven't talked about this in a while but we're just coming off a short arc where a lot happened, including ogami turning back into an adult somehow, tenma learning he's an assassin and noren getting hyptonized into thinking she loves ogami for real. that's what this chap was about, ogami going to school and trying to avoid her for that reason hoping the hypnosis would wear off. it was a good chap, especially that little action sequence at the end, good luck next week ogami you'll need it

a new school year has started and with that we get new cast members to shake things up a bit, tho I don't really like the idea of the new girl butting into taiki's and natsu's relationship when we just got done with the love triangle plot with hina but we'll see

I'VE BEEN DOING PRETTY ALRIGHT!!!! >:D I've already mentioned this before BUUUT yesterday my grandma came over to do my hair after who knows how long..I think the last time she did it was when I was 12?? so it's been four years :'D and she was a little sloppy in the beginning bcz it's been so long but she got the hang of it pretty fast!

AND IT TOOK SIX. HOURS. tbh that's not that bad--if I actually went to the salon it would've taken longer :p bcz they have multiple ppl to work on ykyk but that's okay. My mom and grandma were talkin a lot about some random stuff while doing my hair like how much my grandma hates her coworker and yadyadyaydaysh and they fought abt a few stuff but got over it super fast--their relationship is just super rocky so a lot of convos they get mad at each other for something xD but it's okay 'cause I was minding my own business playing on my vita and reading tbhk >:D AND I HAD HALF A CARTON OF ICE CREAM!! IT WAS SO GOOD ABSHFBDSAHBF I WANT SOME NOW but I haven't had breakfast yet SO I GOTTA EAT THAT FIRST xD

so now my hair is thisssss black and red mixture?? It looks better than it sounds I promise BAHSBDHSAB the red isn't like neon or anything so it's fine ! It's more of a burgundy to be honest--which looks pretty good with the black! My mom picked it out bcz she wanted me to match her :3 her hair is a similar color :D only thing is I hateeeee having my hair down so that sucked to deal with while it was getting done :'D I just don't like longer hair tbh it gets in the way when I'm trying to do like.anything. and I don't like how it feels when it goes down my back--so I usually have it in either plaits or a ponytail. OOH YES AND ON MY VITA One of the games I was playing was the battle pentagraam and there were a few kyosaya moments I noticed in some stories that were suuper cute <3 !! I wish I took some screenshots!! (I think I took like.one xD I SHOULD'VE TAKEN MOREUGHHGUHGU. maybe I can still show later when I transfer them from my vita to my laptop!! :3). I also played some project diva, im@s and neptunia! :D

and now I'm watching some pmmm amvs and mmvs!! I just love watching the way people connect certain scenes or panels to song lyrics! or sometimes it's not even to the lyrics, it's just to the general feel of the song. it's so creative!

Personally, I loved Handsome Siblings! I watched it so I could hopefully learn some Chinese from it, and I didn't expect to become invested. I absolutely loved it and I binged the entire thing! I love the twins so much ;-; The love in the bond they share just makes me feel things hahahah

I used to only sleep at 2am (remnants of my addiction to a mobile game sigh but that’s another story there) and get up around 9 or 10, but for the past couple of months I’ve been trying to change that and exercise more often (sometimes in the early morning if needed alksdlksdf) and my sleeping pattern feels much better now! ^^ and yes, totally understand on that more productive thing! it feels like right now I can get more things done in the morning, at least. hope it will last for you~ (b^_^)b

eh well one of my all time favourite cdramas is my roommate is a detective, which is kinda like sherlock holmes. it’s set in the chinese republican era , and is centred around an ex-mafia-turned-police-inspector (acted by my tumblr url namesake) and a smartass-genius-rich-boy-eking-it-out-on-his-own and the crimes they solve together in 1920s shanghai. but since that’s pretty obvious from my tumblr in general, I’m gonna recommend another movie that I don’t think a lot of people here may be aware of but is still really good!

red cliff! it’s actually a super long show and got split into two separate movies, released in 2008 and 2009. I was like... 12 around then??? but I remember watching both parts in the cinema and going like...... wow

it’s a historical war epic, definitely not in the xianxia or wuxia genres that a lot of popular cdramas are in right now. and this is the one I would recommend because it’s based on an actual historical battle in ancient china AND is also one of the most famous arcs in one of the four Chinese Classical Novels (capitalising these here because this is a legit term ahahaa), the romance of the three kingdoms. 

it’s somewhat like a david vs. goliath situation, and besides the super epic fight scenes, there are also a lot of clever strategies being thrown around and used, mostly by that guy from the second right up there called zhuge liang (or kong ming).

Thing is: Jaime is on a budget. He knows he’s on a budget. He’s known since he was cut off, and good riddance to it as hard as it’s been to adjust to not have all the money in the world conveniently at your disposal. But at the end of it... his one-room apartment with the kitchen corner and a separated bedroom and the bed on the mezzanine feels less of a trap than the Lannister manor used to be, he doesn’t miss his father nagging at him to take his job at the company more seriously nor Cersei treating his room like hers and never give him any privacy whatsoever before cutting things off between them with a three-lines note that she sent to his email a day before announcing her wedding to Robert Baratheon for financial reasons.

Honestly, Jaime had thought, what the fuck was he even still doing there? Tyrion had slammed the door years ago and he’d been thriving, so why the fuck shouldn’t he, when it was obvious that Cersei didn’t really give a fuck about him either way after all and he never wanted to work for the family company anyway and since in theory they worked together but Cersei was in charge she should at least have told him something about it, and she didn’t?

So, he left. Cersei hasn’t even contacted him since. Shows how much she really cared, he supposes, though he also supposes she will show up when she needs him for something, and at that point he thinks he will slam the door in her face when she does, but - that’s beside the point.

The point is: he’s on a budget but his small fridge broke down and he needs a new one, so he’s at the nearest electronics store to find a replacement, and he did, and he’s strangely surprised that he could find some that seemed perfectly fine that also didn’t cost an eye, and patience if they don’t have an ice dispenser. He’s within budget, and he’s on the way to the check-out where the salesperson said his purchase would be arranged... when he sees it.

Now, he technically doesn’t need a new fan. He has a perfectly serviceable one he bought for five bucks when Tyrion brought him to a used electronics sale when he was trying to get the essentials for the new apartment - admittedly, Tyrion had offered Jaime his couch for a while if he needed it, but... he really just wanted to be on his own and not relying on anyone else and so he said no -, and... well. It’s summer. It’s hot. He needed it. But the one he has is old, has three blades that make a hell of a lot of noise and recycles the same air every time, and the three speeds it has somehow never seem to be quite what he needs. Anyway: it works. He could survive until the weather calms down.

But the one he’s looking at on the way to the check-out... is really, really nice, he thinks. Actually, it’s... very pretty. It doesn’t have any blades, nor any buttons - has to work on some kind of touch system -, and it’s shaped like an egg, with an oval space in the middle and what looks like the commands on the bottom.

“Are you interested?” One of the salesgirls asks.

“Uhm,” he asks, “can I try how it feels with... the air?”

“Of course,” she smiles. “The exposition model is over there. Follow me.”

He follows her.

Oh, he thinks after she turns it on, it really is nice. The air doesn’t feel recycled, in comparison to his old one it’s practically silent, it turns on itself in a circle so it can provide fresh air to the entire room, it has three speeds as well but somehow it doesn’t mean it gets noisier as his old one. He also likes the blinding white color of it. He’s not surprised it’s a Targaryen fan, that company all has fancy-looking pieces of electronics after all. But - well. It really is pretty.

He’s also on a goddamned budget. Still -

“Hm,” he asks, “and how much would it be?”

The girl smiles wider and rattles out the price.

Oh. It’s not that much. They have sales right now so it does make sense, and - okay, fine, he’s on a budget, but he has saved up these last few months, and while his monthly paycheck at the local gym famous for training kids at an extremely affordable price isn’t the kind that lets you splurge (good thing they hired him the moment they said his extensive CV when it came to fencing and swimming competitions in university that he had to give up because of working in the fucking company), he’s made some money on the side fencing during medieval fairs and the likes, and even if he’s still budgeting... it wouldn’t put such a dent in his growing savings.

Also, he has earned the damned money himself. The thing costs seventy bucks when Targaryen electronics usually are never less than a hundred a piece, whatever it is. And it really would look nice on the floor instead of taking up unnecessary space on his only desk.

Ah, fuck it.

“You know what,” he says, “I’m taking it. Add it to the fridge I already bought, if you please?”

“But of course,” the girl smiles. “Should we deliver both at your house? Free of charge during sales.”

“Certainly,” Jaime smiles back. He doesn’t cringe when he takes out of his wallet his new, not gold-anything credit card.

Three hours later, he’s cooking dinner with the new fan freshening the room from the floor. It’s blessedly silent, turning on itself slowly at mid-speed. He’s not hearing the blades whooshing loudly anymore, and considering that he did paint the entire place white himself from the ground up when he got it with the last of his mother’s trust fund money left for him, it really does match the apartment.

He smiles to himself.

Who’d have said that using his damned money to buy egg-shaped fans would have felt so satisfying? Not him a year ago... but he thinks he likes how it is.

Well, he does have a good feeling about this whole handling shit on his own business for now. And if he can have it while not dying of heat, even better.

Hey guys white Thanos here and you know what grinds my gears. Defending Sword and Shield using the balance defence

(cw I'mma get a little real later in this. I kinda go off) So you know something I keep thinking back to is the balance defence. That the Dex was cut to balance the game but that only really means for online that now costs money and with have a toxic rank farming meta. Taking out LandoT and Megas doesn't balance shit, it just shifts the meta.

Let's say every current OU and up on Smogon aren't in Galar, that just means the UU will be the new OU. New abilities, types, gameplay changes and moves just like in past generations will balance out what was busted with what is now busted. Gen 1 psychic type was broken so Gen 2 added steel, a pure ghost and Dark. Gen 6 Megamom was busted so she got nerfed in gen 7. So let's just say they planned for that with Dynamax, but that's a fucking lie because even if Caterpie can be a big chunby still gets out classes by every single other Pokémon. But okay sure maybe, and that's a big fat maybe, Max moves balance each other. You know even if Max Guard can let you just stall out three free turns. We still have Gigantamax and my God does that break some shit.

Gigantamax means the bit about letting everyone shine is a meme. You know we're getting a Pikachu, Charizard and Gyrados and you can't tell me you don't believe Gamefreak would. But you know what really made me HMMMMMMMMMMM real hard? Galarian Weezing and his ability. When I first saw him I wondered what could possibly be better than ground immunity, and then Neutralizing gas happened. So what I really think that meant was "we're getting tired of balance testing this ability so we're just gonna cut the ones that would be too strong"

This all coming from someone who grew up with Pokémon and watched it excitingly evolve from gen 1 to gen 5. Gen 6 was the first time I was a little confused about how lacking the game was, I still liked it and wrote it off as 3D jitters. ORAS was the most disappointment I've felt in myself. I kept having my rose tinted goggles blurred by the 3D. I actually had a deep existential crisis about if I was wrong to support something that had given me so much happiness. Sun and Moon actually looked promising, or they would if every trailer for a few months weren't live action commercials hiding a lot of game. I still bought them, a bit sad Kalos was left unfinished but shit happens. Then USUM got announced at first I was wondering "like a black 2/white 2 with a continuation.. how will that work" it was just the Pokémon Light version but cut into two fucking games.

I think that was the final straw and Let's go broke the camerupt's back and soul. "Oh it's just a kiddy spinoff" kids aren't dumb stop that, I was a big dumb baby when I beat Yellow. The real reason it was the way it was is Masuda's long standing belief that cellphone kids have ADD and need shorter less meaty games. But none of that mattered, some of y'all were waiting for your gen 4 remake, I got the remake I wanted. I wanted them to remake Yellow every gen since Hoenn. So I can relive my first Pokémon game with the mind of a child who can actually read and memorize the type chart. I got it along with everything I have ever wished for. I got following Pokémon, riding Pokémon, partner Pokémon dress up, a rocket grunt uniform, cool post game content and fucking co-op. It came at a heavy cost tho as the game I had been waiting for turns out to be a game made for what Masuda thinks a child is. Overall easier, no non gen 1 Pokémon allowed, not even evos and babies, that co-op acts as a big brother mode where you fucking 2 on 1 these poor children and worst of all the Pokémon go features makes everything seem pointless outside of catching new Pokémon. But after a year of crushed hope at least 2019 would give me a great full Pokémon game the looks like a proper switch game where I can play with all my Bros.

I kinda went on a tangent their but hopefully some of you realize not everyone is some "hurr hurr big company bad" dumdum. I just want Gamefreak to delay the game, TCPI to delay the global push to actually think these things out and maybe bring back Gap years and filler seasons in the anime.

great episode all around, loved hearing my queen yuuki as gina, too bad we won't see much more of her til cour 4 or 5 (depending on how fast adaptation goes) but it'll be worth the wait. also, since I read all of UU from start to just some months ago, in just a couple days I had things very fresh on my mind so I noticed it easily, but it's really crazy to see how early tozuka set up seeds for future payoffs, I won't mention what exactly cause spoilers but there were 3 ones in this episode and it really is great writing and storytelling to be able to pull that off

nice and action packed episode, fit for being the end of this initial cour/arc, which we only found out about earlier this week. should be getting a new op along with the new subtitle and stuff but we'll see. we also got some lore like the full team of the ancient adventurer and that the evil organization was related to him in some way. the goal now is to find the rest of the team so that should last for 25 more eps probably but we'll see, there should still be gym stuff along the way and all that

HMM OKAY SO, let’s have more post-aerys au drama. jaime kills aerys and has Consequences In The Realistic Sense ie regular night terrors, ptsd up in spades, if we add that he might have damaged the right hand with wildfire there’s even more drama, when he meets with cersei again she decides he’s useless and drops things there, he obviously can’t take up his duties as kg anymore, tywin ends up paying robert to discharge him or smth and sends him back to casterly and tries to marry him off but it always goes badly because either he doesn’t put any effort in it or when he actually does out of desperation/i NEED TO SHOW CERSEI SOMEONE MIGHT WANT ME etc it’s the women who are put off and it doesn’t work out. some years pass, tywin is despairing of ever getting him to marry and give him offspring also because it’s not like he goes with random women so he can’t even claim a bastard son or anything, at some point he ends up learning of selwyn’s Issues with marrying brienne who has just broken her betrothal to the third idiot. he writes to selwyn, does 2+2 and he’s like well his daughter is basically impossible to marry off, jaime is impossible to marry off but he also wouldn’t gaf if she wants to play with swords, I need a marriage, let’s arrange this

selwyn is like ‘well just if she likes him’ because he knows that brienne’s not gonna go for it if she doesn’t regardless of how much it would mean on a political scale, so they arrange things and they meet - jaime isn’t even hoping to run into someone he could reasonably like and she’s ready for the worst so she shows up with sword, armor and all, he’s intrigued, he’s like ‘well then maybe we should spar’ (for this fic I’d say they still have the age gap tho maybe not as much as book canon just to make sure he doesn’t get to 30+ feeling that terrible xD) and she’s like sure lead the way and well he’s still good at it regardless of his hand being hurt because he did train in the meantime and she holds her own but he eventually wins and she’s like ‘uhm I said I’d marry just a guy who bested me in combat’ and jaime’s like WELL THERE ARE NO MEN LIKE ME but if you don’t want to I’d get it everyone else ran, she ends up asking him what exactly happened and technically he’s on orders to not say shit because tywin was like DON’T MAKE THIS ONE RUN AWAY EITHER but she looks trustworthy and he doesn’t want her to accept not knowing what she’s getting into and after he tells her everything she’s like ‘would you stop me from wanting to be a knight’, he’s like ‘hell no why the hell would I’ and she shrugs ‘well that’s the only thing that matters to me I’m not faulting you for having issues because you saved the realm we can have a decent marriage where we don’t hate each other sounds better than all of our other options’ and he can’t believe she didn’t object but she’s right and at least they can like be friends right

so they’re like yeah sure we’re getting married with both tywin and selwyn like OKAY THAT WAS EASIER THAN WE THOUGHT (except that ofc selwyn is happy for both of them tywin just cares about having heirs) and for the next few weeks they spar together and stuff so by the time they marry they’re actually friends and they like each others’ company, then at the feast he’s like we should probably dance and she’s like uhm yeah last time it happened it didn’t really go that well and tells him the thing with renly, and he’s like oh who cares no one who fights like you couldn’t dance and we’re married who even cares so she accepts and they actually dance and it’s awkward until they switch and she starts leading and at that point both of them are ‘oh wait I actually like this, oh uhm we do fit together don’t we, hmmm it’s been a long time since I actually liked doing this wait I kinda want to kiss him/her WAIT SHIT I’M ACTUALLY INTO HIM/HER IT’S NOT JUST CONVENIENTLY FRIENDLY MARRIAGE’ aaand well they’ll have a lot of fun during the wedding night and it’s going to be an extremely successful marriage uu
